This last year with Laurel has had ups and downs filled with nightmares, flashbacks, sickness, relapses, injuries, fights, make ups, but through it all, he's been reminded that scars may fade but love never does.

"You're not alone on an island anymore, Ollie." Laurel whispers, leaning her forehead against his. Oliver's arms circle her waist and pull her close to him, her head over his thumping heart. In this moment, with Laurel wrapped in his arms, he knows he'll never be alone again, not when he's around her because she's always made him feel loved and wanted, always has, always will.

Locked up in Slabside for his actions as a vigilante, Oliver was simply surviving, as he always had been. The monotony of his life was only broken up by violent fights while a heavy loneliness settled in his bones. That was until the day he received an unexpected visit.
