The tired Midorikawa deflates at the idea of still attending school. Kikuchihara sends Jin his most deadpan look. "Why? We do not have any documents, nor any documentation. How do you expect to even apply?"
"That's what we'll have to research" replies Jin with a very smug look. Even the weather agreed with Kikuchihara's reaction. A single gust of wind swept through the street. He was entirely unimpressed with Jin's answer. "You are being unhelpful." He brushed his hand past his ear to the back of his head. Rubbing it he stated, "Do you have any actual advice or are you just going to be cryptic while we do the work." At this Jin's look grew even smugger.
After a few months the group had settled in somewhat. In a small apartment, Kikuchihara helped Midorikawa with studying – not that it had been going well. The hundreds of flash cards and notes taped to the wall certainly reflected that. Books covered that coffee table that also served as the dinner table. The small kitchenette received little use and the fridge contained mostly curry. Usami made it frequently at Tamakoma branch, so Jin eventually learned to make it. "So Jin," He paused and set back down his spoon. "How are Shun and I supposed to explain the age issue?"
"The three of us can be half siblings which is why we have different names. As for required age for the exam we will just adjust your ages slightly."
After this he returned to his plate of curry. Over dinner both of the younger agents had to study with hime on the history of this Japan which thankfully went significantly better than other subjects.
A few more weeks passed, some ending in frustration and tears over preparing for the UA exam. Finally, examination day arrived. "Have fun at the exams you two!" Says Jin patting Midorikawa and a scowling Kikuchihara on their heads. "Building is a little excessive don't you think?" Commented Kikuchihara.
"It's so cool!" Shouted Midorikawa with stars shining in his eyes. A few people gave the group a few questioning looks but shortly resumed walking to the entrance. Jin waved the two of them off and left them with a short note. "Act like a normal border agent and you'll be fine." Which is rather unhelpful.
Once they entered the auditorium Kikuchihara and Midorikawa searched for a pair of seats. "There are not any seats together, I'll see you after the exam." The two separated with Kikuchihara being further in the back. "Hi, I'm Midorikawa!" The girl he greeted covered her ear. "Quiet down please." He nodded "Sorry! Pleased to meet you." "Jiro" She turned back to listen for the exam instructions.

Midorikawa only half paid attention but started to perk up at the idea of destroying tons of robots. This will be so much fun! I wonder Jiro has hearing like Kikuchhy-nii. I should take down tons of robots, how many could Jin-nii get rid of? They're announcing groups to exit.
Group A yay! First up! He bounded out the door nearly bowling over the old lady for a second time. "Sorry again, gotta go!" Outside the door some people looked excited about the robots. That green haired guy looks as calm a Yuma-senpai does before a match. I'm going to outdo him. Squeezing his trigger he lines up with the rest of the group by a large door. Start! Running through the door he shouts "Trigger On!" The school outfit changes to his white track suit with his scorpion activated. If I use grasshopper I can get to the center with the robots first. What are the rest of you waiting for? Get going listeners! By this point Midorikawa was surrounded by robots. He worked his way through the group faster than a set of marmods. "Woo! More points!"
The scorpion easily sliced through the one pointers. Three pointers had to be hit like a rabbit though. Immediately after slicing through one robot he would bounce through another set. A shout from a few streets over caught his attention. Turned out that the orange haired guy from early got trapped by a pair of 3 pointers. I can't get rid of both at once… I've got it! Yuma-senpai's flying scorpion! "Duck!" The guy ducked and a scorpion flew through the arm of the first one. He bounced toward the second slicing the eye with his second blade. "Gotta get points," he shouted back at the orange haired guy bounding toward the next set already. "Bye!"
This is more fun than Usami senpai's simulations. I wonder how Kukichi-nii's doing? A giant robot turned up from over the buildings. That's larger than a Bamster! In the streets everyone is running away panicked. Pieces of the buildings flew through the air. A large chunk started falling towards an unaware examinee below. "Shield!" Green light shown on the examinee. Above him a shining greenish blue shield. He scrambled away from the debris above. Immediately after the shield disappeared,and another appeared elsewhere shielding other examinees which were trying to avoid the debris.
"Thanks for the save!" Shouts the yellow haired examinee. "Do you want to take that thing down?" Pointing at the zero pointer.
"It'll be fun" replied Midorikawa using a grasshopper to get close to the other examinee. He landed on the ground sliding some while kicking up some dust. "Midorikawa."
"Kaminari Denki," the other replied. "With the way you're slicing through the robots, I can distract the zero pointer if you want."
"Sure"
Kaminari ran towards the feet of the zero pointer and unleashed electricity diverting the zero pointer's from Midorikawa. Overhead the new kid Midorikawa uses his weird glowing blue platforms to get close to the zero pointers head. Blue barriers are his quirk along with his blades. Weird. Midorikawa's blade fin reached towards the sky before rocketing towards the ground. An explosion rang out. All that remained after the smoke cleared was the zero pointer bisected from head to foot.
Time's Up!
Midorikawa turned towards Kaminari waving. "Hey! Want to be friends?" Kaminari looked slightly dumbfounded at the damage Midorikawa was completely ignoring, but replied "Here is my phone number," inputting it into Midorikawa's phone. "Give me a call when you get in." The two walked out of the testing center together, with Kaminari throwing an arm over Midorikawa's shoulders.
"You should meet my brothers. Kikuchihara-nii is testing too." Kaminari turned at him in mild confusion. "Do you have a twin?"
"No, he's slightly older." Kaminari decided not to further question him. Outside the main entrance most of the students were meeting up with family. Among the many heads were the two brunettes. Midorikawa dropped Kaminari's arm off of his shoulder and grabbed it running towards the pair. "Jin-nii! Kikuchihara-nii! I made a friend! This is Kaminari." Jin patted him on the head. "I see the test went well." "Yep! How did you do Kikuchihara-nii?"
AN: Hello everyone, I'm finally back. Next time we'll get to see how Kikuchihara's exam. Hopefully his sanity can withstand the combined forces of Kaminari and Midorikawa. Jiro will be right along side him having to deal with the issue of super human hearing amongst some of the loudest people out there.
I haven't figured out how to make it happen yet but I imagine that Jin's side effect is just absolutely going to wreak havoc on Nighteye's quirk. On top of all this our lovely border agents will have figure out how to use their triggers against non trigger bodies which is a whole different problem. I'm also debating whether Kikuchihara will his chameleon during the first heroics class or if he will keep it hidden until the USJ. All this being said feel free to leave some suggestions in the comments section.
