It was nighttime at Nevermore and Naruto was making his way to the statue of Edgar Allen Poe but paused as he saw it move back into place
What was odd was that Naruto knew that this was the secret entrance to the meeting ground of the nightshades, a secret group of students from families that have history with the school
Naruto wasn't a member of this club since he found it derivative but that didn't stop the nightshades from trying to recruit him last year since his mom was a member when she went to school here
"Hmm, now who would be holding a night meeting" Naruto muttered to himself as he snapped his fingers twice making the statue move revealing the entrance inside
He then walked inside before the statue moved back in place
as he walked down the stairs he paused as he saw Wednesday tied up in a chair talking to a group of students in robes and masks
"Ugh" Naruto grunted as he pinched his brow before he floated in the air and flew through the wall so he could watch this from above
"You can take the mask off Bianca I know it's you" Wednesday said with a bored tone
this caused the students to remove their masks showing several of them were Bianca, Xavier, Yoko, and Ajax
"Wait I prefer you with it on" Wednesday said to Bianca
Naruto snickered at this but thankfully he wasn't herd
"Couldn't resist that one could ya" Bianca said flatly with a roll of her eyes
"How did you get in here?" Xavier asked curiously
"Rowen showed my left pocket" Wednesday said causing Xavier to approach and search her left pocket and pulled out a piece of paper
"I tracked the watermark to the poe statue then I just solved the riddle" Wednesday stated
"Riddle? I thought we just had to snap our fingers twice" one of the members said looking confused
"... Double finger snapping is common in my family" Wednesday said as she looked at the group unimpressed
"... You'd make one killer Detective you know that?" Xavier said
"The nightshade are a elite social club, emphasis on elite Bianca said
"Then why isn't Naruto a member?" Wednesday asked not seeing said blonde amongst the group
"He finds this whole thing derivative" Xavier said
"That and when you tried to initiate me I made you all crazy in retaliation" Naruto said with a smirk making everyone jump and look up at him as he floated in the air
"Damn it Uzumaki don't do that!" Yoko said as she patted her chest from the surprise
"That's kind of your thing, yours and hers. You come to get her out? We aren't doing anything just wondering why she came in" Bianca said as Naruto floated down to them
"No I just came to do my regular thing of leaving a prank in here Naruto said with a grin
"Can't you spend your time any better than just pranking people? There's more to life than pranking and torturing people" Bianca said
"Really then why is she tied up? Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow
"Interrogation, but if I were to make an opinion, use tighter restraints" Wednesday said holding her hand up showing she freed herself
"... She is so much like you, it's scary" Xavier said to Naruto
"She does it without cheep tricks" Yoko said with a scoff as she glared lightly at Naruto
Naruto scoffed at this "Not my fault I'm talented and your just a jealous fool" he said as he went to leave
Yoko scowled at this before Naruto glared at her making his eyes flash red and she jumped back
"Naruto don't start and just go" Bianca said as she pushed Wednesday over to him
"Wait I have questions" Wednesday said firmly
"don't bother I'll answer questions for you may not be a member but I know everything about this club of elite morons and no I don't mean you or Ajax" Naruto said to Xavier
"Thanks… I think" Xavier asked not knowing how to take that
"Oi! What about me?" Kiba asked as he lowered his hood
"You need a Q-tip?" Naruto asked with a smirk as he led we'd to the stairs
"Just get going so we can have our meeting, take your girlfriend and go" Bianca said
"he wishes" Wednesday said flatly as she left
"She wishes" Naruto said at the same time making them look at each other
"Ha! that's going in the wedding toast" Kiba said as he laughed along with Ajax
Naruto rolled his eyes at this as he and Wednesday went upstairs leaving the room
"Ok let's start this meeting" Bianca was saying
"Wait, you smell that?" Kiba asked as he sniffed around
everyone looked down and saw what looked like a small ball that was lightly smoking

damn it Naruto I'm gonna- Kiba was yelling before the ball exploded filling the room with brown smoke causing the students to all cough and panic
"Oh God it burns my nostrils to smell it! Ajax yelled in a panic
"I can't feel my nose! Kiba yelled as since he was a werewolf the smell was way worse for him
"NARUTO YOU IMMATURE MOTHERFUCKER!" Bianca yelled as she coughed as they all tried to make their way out of the room

Naruto and Wednesday were in the courtyard sitting down
"So Rowen was a member?" Wednesday asked Naruto who was answering all his questions
"He was when they tried recruiting me last year but according to Kiba they kicked him out right before you showed up" Naruto explained
"Any idea why they threw him out?" Wednesday asked
"Nope don't really care about that club unless I'm pulling a prank on them Naruto said with a snicker as one of his favorite activities was pranking them
"Hmm, I saw… I would've made it a tear gas bomb" Wednesday said firmly
"I'll make a note of that" Naruto said with a nod
"Why are you antagonistic with Yoko? I thought vamps got along" Wednesday asked curiously
Naruto paused at this before he looked at Wednesday "Family drama" he said firmly
"Didn't think you were the kind to even care about such things" Wednesday said finding this odd
"I didn't, it was my mom" Naruto said as he sighed before he started to float a bit in the air well if "You done with your questions I'll be off miss Addams" he said before he flew off into the night sky
Wednesday watched Naruto fly off for a moment before she also left the courtyard taking note of the nightshades all running away from poes statue coughing and smelling of raw sewage
This caused Wednesday to very slightly smirk before she went back to her dorm room

it was now morning and all of the students were in the courtyard listening to Wheems give them instructions for today since it was outreach day where the students would all go into Jericho and work in the town and as Wheems put it build a better relationship with the townspeople
Naruto grumbled in annoyance as Wheems handed him and Kiba their work assignments
I will expect you to be on your nest behavior Mr Uzumaki if you pull anything like you did last year-" Wheems was saying before she was cut off
"yeah yeah yeah I know you will call my mom she will laugh you will stew" Naruto said as he took his assignment from her
Wheems said nothing to this before she put on a fake smile "also I took the opportunity to have your violin brought with us" she said
this caused Naruto to pause in surprise "my violin?" he asked really hoping she wasn't gonna make him do what he thought she was
"I hope you and miss Addams know Fleetwood mack have a good day at work Mr Uzumaki" Wheems said with a smile as she walked away
"Heh she got you dude" Kiba said with a snicker
"Shut up" Naruto growled as he was really annoyed now
"Don't start, the sooner we finish the faster we can leave that douche hole" Kiba muttered to him
"Yeah you said it… wait why do you hate this?" Naruto asked curiously
"Because of that ass hats statue in town as wasn't that guy a Outcast hunter or something, something about Crackstone makes me angry for some reason" Kiba said
"Yeah well you heard Wheems she's watching me so don't expect a prank from me this year" Naruto said as he looked at his assignment "Oh cone on! the weather vane?!" he yelled in annoyance
"You expected pilgrim world after what you pulled last year?" Kiba asked with a raised eyebrow
"Hey they had it coming" Naruto said
"You snapped his son's arm and flooded pilgrim world in blood that had screaming souls in it" Kiba said with a shudder at the memory
Naruto snickered at this as he smiled at the memory of all the patrons and workers at pilgrim world screaming in terror
Kiba then looked at his assignment and scowled "Well you got a better assignment then me I got Uriah's Heap" he said
"The antique shop? Ouch" Naruto said with a wince before he patted Kiba on the shoulder in sympathy
"This is degrading" Wednesday said as she got her list
"You said it, ask me, I'd rather burn that statue of crackblock" Naruto said
"Crackstone" Kiba said as he rolled his eyes
"Who cares… I can't look at that Statue without getting the feeling of being mad" Naruto said
"Let's just get these said and done" Kiba said as they were all led to a bus
"So thats a no on burning the place down? Naruto asked as they all got on the bus
Kiba, Xavier and Ajax groaned at this while Wednesday didn't react at all

Naruto walked into the weathervane with Xavier and the both of them approached the front counter where Tyler was
"Why are you here?" Tyler asked with a annoyed tone at seeing Naruto
"I'll Have The Neapolitan Cappuccino More Captain Then Chino Make Sure It's Got No More Than Four Ounces Of Milk The Beans Won't Have The Right Texture Otherwise, You Can't Handle That I'll Have A Venti Traditional Misto, Please Use Soy Milk With Two Blonde Shots Affogato AND Ristretto! I'd Also Love Three Vanilla Pumps At The Very Bottom Then, Add The Coffee After Then. Naruto said with a smug grin while Xavier snorted and smiled a little at Naruto obviously messing with Tyler…..at least he hoped he was messing with him
"Enough! you're both here for outreach day right?" Tyler asked his eyebrow twitching after out of habit trying to remember Naruto's order before he realized he was screwing with him
"Yes we are but I can repeat my order if you want" Naruto said with a smirk
before Tyler threw two aprons at him
"Uzumaki your on janitor duty and you can take orders and serve the customers" Tyler said to them
"Oooo janitor duty I'm so scared" Naruto said with a scoff as he put on his apron
"Our regular janitor has been sick all week have fun in the restroom" Tyler said with a smug tone
Naruto paused at this before he scowled while Xavier groaned at this
'well at least Kiba Is suffering too at that antique shop' Narutothought to himself as he was handed a mop

Kiba was at the antique shop known as Uriah's Heap and as he walked in he noticed who the other students sent here with him was….
"Kiba! I didn't know you were sent here" Enid said with a excited smile at seeing the fellow werewolf
Kiba sputtered in surprise with a small blush at seeing her
the owner of the shop Connie watched this and shook her head at the obvious crush the male werewolf had ok you two you're here too work not gaze into each other's eyes she said with a grin as the two teens jumped in surprise before they all got to work
After a few hours of working while talking a little Kiba was a little more comfortable around Enid though he was still stuttering a little
"S-so where is Wednesday working?" Kiba asked as he dusted a vase
"She's working at pilgrim world" Enid said as she cleaned some dust off a shelf and coughed a bit
Kiba froze at this before he chuckled "You think she will do something to scar the town like Naruto did last year?" he asked curiously
"i dont know its hard to beat flooding all of pilgrim world with blood " Enid said as she shuddered at the memory
Kiba nodded at this and smiled as that was a good point "So um Enid-" he said trying to gather his courage before he was cut off
"Kiba I have been trying to get your attention for months now and I'm about to lose it. I have been trying to flirt with you but you just don't get it!" Enid blurt out with a nervous look on her face
Kiba froze at this his eyes widening in surprise while he blushed "Y-you were flirting with me?" he asked stunned
"Obviously" Connie said making them jump in surprise at her announcing her presence
"Gah! don't you have things to do?" Kiba asked sounding annoyed
"Regularly yes but here's something you should know young man….I have no life" Connie said with a smug grin as she drank some coffee
Kiba groaned in annoyance at this while Enid frowned
"Oh look I need to refill my cup I guess I'll have to get more….for 5 minutes" Connie said with a smile at the two teens before she went into the back
Enid smiled at this as she could see what the antique owner was doing and made a note to send her a gift basket later "So Kiba would you like to go out with me tonight-
"YES!, I mean yes I would love to" Kiba shouted before he quickly calmed himself and answered more calmly
Enid smiled at this and chuckled at his response "You are so cute when your nervous" she said as she started to giggle
"I'm only nervous around you" Kiba grumbled to himself as he got back to work
"awwww" Enid said as she smiled and patted Kiba on the head
"Ok I'm coming back! so separate you two!" Connie yelled out before she came back
Kiba grumbled at this but was thankful to the normie shop owner

Wednesday was leaving pilgrim world in her school uniform and was now making her way to the weathervane
She had been able to find some information on Joseph Crackstone the founder of the town of Jericho
She hadn't gotten much information since his old book was fake and stolen months ago according to one of the workers at the park
Though she did find a painting of a girl that looked like her in the Crackstone exhibit so now she was heading to the weathervane which she entered through the front door
"Come on Xavier, let's burn this motherfucker down!" Naruto yelled from the restroom while Xavier served some customers
"Having a good day I see" Wednesday said with a flat tone at Xavier who walked over to her
"Better than Naruto is as he's basically the plumber while I serve the customers" Xavier said
suddenly they heard a flushing sound inside the restroom
"Ah ha! I told you I could fix this!" Naruto yelled as he walked out of the restroom with a smug look
"Oh really?" Tyler asked with a raised eyebrow
Naruto looked to see water coming from behind the door
"FUCK!" Naruto yelled as he was at his wits end
"I think he's earned a small break Tyler, I need to talk to him" Wednesday said firmly
"Go ahead I'm at my wits end with him Tyler said as he left them alone
"Curse you, you porcelain demon!" Naruto yelled
"At least you have a career figured out" Wednesday said with a slight smirk at Naruto
"Not in the mood woman!" Naruto yelled out on frustration
"Since your not having fun here maybe you can help me look for clues in the forest-"
"Sold! hey Tyler I'm bailing and if you don't like it-" Naruto was yelling before he was cut off
"By all means please leave before you destroy something" Tyler said not looking at Naruto as he took some orders
Naruto made a mocking noise at this as he took off his apron and threw it at the floor as he followed Wednesday out of the coffee shop
"I'm surprised with your reputation As a prankster you didn't prank the place" Wednesday mused almost disappointed
"I wanted to, but they took all my pranking supplies before I got on the bus" Naruto grumbled
Wednesday slightly smirked at this as she kinda liked seeing Naruto like this… miserable
"So what do you want to know?" Naruto asked curiously
"I want to see some of the old buildings of Jericho
"Good luck they're are only ruins in the forest that is usually home to homeless people these days" Naruto said as they walked towards the forest
"Perfect" Wednesday said
(later in the forest)
Naruto and Wednesday walked towards the old destroyed barn
"What exactly is here that you are hoping to find?" Naruto asked
"A clue of some kind make yourself useful and look around" Wednesday said firmly as she looked around
"Aye aye, Detective Addams" Naruto said flatly a she looked around
as Wednesday looked around he shoulder was grabbed and when she looked she saw a older man with a long beard who was obviously homeless
"This is my place girly" he growled out in annoyance
"Call me girly again and I will make you suffer" Wednesday said coldly to the man
"this is my spot!" the homeless man yelled out in annoyance
"Thing" Wednesday said as said hand made his presence known on her shoulder before he jumped at the homeless man
before Naruto appeared in between the man and Wednesday and caught thing in his hand
"I'll handle this thing Naruto said as he put the hand on his shoulder before turning to the homeless man his eyes glowing which made the homeless man froze "You want to leave this place he said almost like a command
"I want to leave this place" the homeless man said in a trance as he walked out of the destroyed barn
Naruto smiled at this before his eyes stopped glowing and he turned to Wednesday
"Hypnosis?" Wednesday asked curiously
"Yup but it only works on the weak willed so don't worry miss Addams it obviously wouldn't work on you" Naruto said with a teasing tone
"Obviously now get back to work finding a clue" Wednesday said as she went back to looking around
Naruto went back to work thing jumping down to the ground and walking over to Wednesday and making hand signals to her
Wednesday looked annoyed at this no I haven't gotten any visions yet she said
"Visions?" Naruto asked curiously not knowing about this before his eyes widened in realization "Ah that's why you seized up at the poe cup" he said getting a thumbs up from Thing confirming this
Wednesday looked at Naruto at this yes and thing thinks I should try to trigger them but I haven't had anything yet she said as she went to leave
"Well how do they work?" Naruto asked curiously as he had heard several things about psychic visions thanks to Xavier but didn't know a lot
"Sometimes i get them when I touch something or someone" Wednesday said simply as she approached the barn doorway
"Oh? and what do you think you would see if you touched me?" Naruto asked with a teasing tone
Wednesday looked at Naruto and glared at him as she touched the barn door to leave before she seized up and fell to the ground
"Wednesday!" Naruto yelled as he ran to her to check on her
Thing crawled over to them in a panic signing at Naruto
Naruto checked her pulse and sighed in relief "she should be fine thing, this must be her having a vision" he said as he looked at the asleep Addams
thing pinched Naruto's leg getting his attention and signed at him when he looked at him
"So I'm looking at her, so what? im worried about her, I mean I would be worried about any of my friends in this situation" Naruto said annoyed at that the severed hand was pretty much accusing him
Thing signed at Naruto at this making Naruto sputter a little
"ok fine I find her pretty so what?" Naruto asked thing who didn't respond to this but Naruto had a feeling if thing could smirk in a teasing way he would
it soon started to rain and Naruto scowled at this and pulled out a umbrella he kept with him just in case
Wednesday then shot up her vision over and looked at Naruto and Thing "I had a vision of the girl in that painting back at pilgrim world, her name was Goody Addams"
"Huh sounds like a ancestor of yours is trying to tell you something" Naruto mused as he placed his umbrella over Wednesday who he offered a hand to help he up, which she took
"she told me a lot already, apparently Joseph Crackstone burned hundreds of outcasts in this very barn which goody escaped and had to leave her family to save herself" Wednesday said as she glared at the destroyed barn
Naruto scowled at this as he had heard some of Jericho's history from his mother "come on let's get back before Wheems sends a search party" he said as he led the way out
Wednesday followed Naruto with Thing climbing onto her shoulder
they both walked down the street making their way back to town in silence
"you ok?" Naruto asked curiously as he kept them dry with his umbrella
"I'm fine I'm just annoyed that this town wants to pretend they are our friends when they obviously still hate us" Wednesday said with a firm tone
Naruto nodded at this as he could see her point and why she was annoyed. "Why do you think I prank the town regularly?" he asked with a grin
Wednesday paused at this and looked at Naruto "You do juvenile pranks to get even for this town's history? How does that make things even?" she asked wondering if there was a prank bad enough to make things even
"Well last year I flooded pilgrim world with blood and scared everyone with images of tortured souls in the river of blood" Naruto said with a proud grin
Wednesday said nothing to this but smiled a little as she very much wished she could have seen this
"there's a smile I knew seeing it would be worth it" Naruto said with his own smile at her
Wednesday composed herself at this and said nothing as she walked away into the rain
Naruto frowned at this hoping he didn't make her mad
Wednesday stopped walking at this and turned to look at Naruto "I have a idea for a prank on the town if you wish to help me then let's go" she sold firmly
Naruto smiled at this and ran to catch up with her more than happy to help with a prank especially on Jericho
(later in town)
Everyone was In the town square getting ready for the dedication to joseph Crackstone
Wednesday was sitting near the band with her Chello getting ready while the mayor gave his speech with Wheems standing with him but noticed Naruto was next to her getting his violin ready. "You play violin?" she asked curiously not expecting this from the vampire teen
"I am a vampire of many talents miss Addams" Naruto said with a smile at her before he spotted Thing nearby under the feet of the watching audience giving them a thumbs up showing he was ready to do his part of the plan
the band started to play a peppy version of don't stop by Fleetwood mac which Naruto and Wednesday also played while the audience watched and the mayor and wheems started the fountain for the new Joseph Crackstone statue
Nearby Thing lit a match and set fire to a trail of gasoline which made its way to the fountain which the statue was on and soon…..
BOOOM
the fountain and statue were set ablaze making everyone in the audience scream and run in terror
sheriff Galpin helped lead some people away and stopped and looked at Naruto and Wednesday who were still playing their instruments only now they were playing a very intense version of Vivaldi's Winter both of them in perfect sync
Mayor Walker and principal Wheems were taking cover and both glared at Naruto and Wednesday as they continued to play in perfect sync Naruto smirking in defiance while Wednesday had a slight smirk on her face as the townspeople ran and the statue of Joseph Crackstone melted
(later back at Nevermore)
Naruto walked into his room after being read the riot act by Wheems along with Wednesday
"Well that was quite the couples activity you and Addams pulled" Kiba said with a knowing smirk as he got his coat on
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Naruto said with a smirk
Kiba snorted at this but shook his head as he knew Naruto would take this one to the grave
"What are you up to?" Naruto asked as he sat down on his bed seeing Kiba was getting dressed up
"I'm meeting up with Enid tonight" Kiba said as he smiled happily
Naruto blinked at this before he smiled at his friend "well look at you finally making a move" he said as he was happy his best friend finally asking Enid out
"Looks like I beat you for once eh?" Kiba asked as he put on his coat and headed for the door
"yea yea savor the flavor cause you won't win again" Naruto said with a chuckle as he laid down on his bed as Kiba laughed and left the room
Naruto looked up at the ceiling and thought about what he should do to catch up with Kiba "hmmmmm maybe I should ask Wednesday out to the school dance" he thought to himself as his thoughts turned to the gloomy girl
