Hello one and all to a new chapter of Pokemon SVTA where today, Ash and friends head to the champion headquarters where Ash meets the La Primera herself, Geeta (who has been expecting Ash since he's been in Paldea) has wanted to battle him for a while and decides to grant Ash's request for one epi battle. Who will come out on top and will Ash learn a new goal for his future in Paldea? Find out this episode.
This is what I will call, the end of the school life arc and the beginning of the Prelude Arc which is when everyone starts to prepare for the upcoming Treasure Hunt and these next couple of chapters will involve everyone's sort of part 2's, a friendship story between the teacher and then the next couple of episodes will have Ash and his new companions go to Capo Poco to learn some new things about each other and a shocking Pokemon from the depths of Area Zero has come for a visit.
I want to make Geeta an interesting character while also displaying a sort of strategy between her and her ace, Kingambit (her ace in this story) that makes her unique alongside other champions which shall develop over the story so her battling a bit unoriginal is more of me trying to think of some ideas but with the out of the way, let's get started.
For clarification, this battle isn't a full battle but a 1v1.
After the events of yesterday where Ash and Arven bonded and encountered a once of a kind Hisuian Sneasel, things were back to semi-normality. We see Nemona battling but not with Ash but instead with Sarah and what looks to be a Pokemon known as Bellibolt, a Pokemon that was green in color and round in shape and having fake eyes on it's sides while it's actual face is in the middle and Nemona using Pawmi and they seem like that they're halfway through the battle. Ash was the referee for this fight.
"Alright Bellibolt, stay in position and take on the attacks!" Sarah said to the happy frog Pokemon, "Alright Pawmi use Quick Attack and use multiple of them!" Nemona commanded as Pawmi began to run towards the happy Pokemon but it stood still as Pawmi began attacking the Pokemon, the electricity sac thing on Bellibolt's stomach began to glow and glow before Sarah smirked.
"Alright Belli, use Charge Beam!" Sarah commanded as Bellibolt's electricity charged up into a beam of sorts rushing towards Pawmi, "Dig!" Nemona says as Pawmi began to dig very fast avoiding the attack, but Bellibolt receives a buff to its attack indicated by a orange energy surrounding Bellibolt. "That my friend was Electromorphisis, Bellibolt's ability that allows for its next Electric type attack to be boosted in power" Sarah informed the student council president who smirked, "I'll keep that in mind, keep digging to confuse Bellibolt Pawmi!" Nemona said as Pawmi kept moving.
"Bellibolt, move around a bit a watch yourself." Sarah said as Bellibolt hops around all over to try to avoid Pawmi's attack, "Now!" Nemona yelled out as Pawmi came out of the ground and due to Bellibolt's slow speed, it didn't even have time to turn around. "Use Nuzzle!" Nemona said but Pawmi's fangs started to glow instead and prepares to bite.
"Block it!" Sarah yelled as Bellibolt used its left arm to block the bite keeping Pawmi still, "Nemona I believe your Pawmi knows Bite now." Ash said to the impressed Nemona. "Alright Bellibolt use Spark!" Sarah commanded as Bellibolt's body starts to charge up with electricity and prepares to charge forward.
"Pawmi use Quick Attack to jump off of Bellibolt to escape!" Nemona said as Pawmi used his legs to jump off of Bellibolt's arm and run back at quick speed, "Now!" Sarah commanded as Bellibolt rushed at Pawmi with huge amount of electricity surrounding the body as Nemona comes up with a plan. "Pawmi Dig!" Nemona said as Pawmi digged with quick succession in front of a charging Bellibolt which Sarah didn't even notice.
"Quick jump!" Sarah said but it was too late as Bellibolt trips over the open hole and couldn't get back up as Pawmi jumps out of the hole, "Now use Bite!" Nemona said as Pawmi created a pair of jaws to bite Bellibolt causing a puff of smoke to appear damaging the Bellibolt. Bellibolt gets back up and Pawmi hops back ready to finish this. Nemona and Sarah both grab their respective Tera Stones ready to finish the battle.
"I guess you knew what I was thinking eh Sarah?" Nemona said smirking to which Sarah nodded, "You got that right, let's finish this." Sarah said as both threw their Tera stones towards their Pokemon as they began to Terastalize into their respective types with both Pokemon being Electric Tera types thus having a lightbulb on their head that was charging up.
"Alright Pawmi/Bellibolt use Quick Attack/Spark!" both trainers say to their Pokemon as Pawmi began to charge at Bellibolt while Bellibolt's bulb charges up as Bellibolt rushes at Pawmi as they both clash, but Bellibolt sends Pawmi back at full force due to the boost by the Tera energy. "Pawmi use Dig!" Nemona commanded as Pamwi began to dig fastly to confuse Bellibolt.
"Keep moving Bellibolt!" Sarah said as Bellibolt began to hop rather fast before Pawmi jumped out of the hole, "Bellibolt stand your ground!" Sarah said as Bellibolt braced itself, "Now Pawmi Thunder Shock!" Nemona says, "Wha-" Sarah didn't even finish as Pawmi releases an electrical beam towards Bellibolt charged up by the Tera hat eventually hitting the Elefrog Pokemon. "Impressive, now let's finish this. Bellibolt use Charge Beam!" Sarah said as Bellibolt's bulb charges and releases a stream of electricity towards Pawmi.
"Pawmi Thunder Shock let's go!" Nemona said encouragingly as Pawmi releases a bolt of electricity towards Bellibolt with both beams clashing, Sarah looks to Nemona and smiles, "You know Nemona, I'm glad to have battled you to see your skills because they're impressive but there's one thing you should know about my Bellibolt." Sarah said to Nemona who looks on with curiosity.
"Bellibolt's Electromorphosis ability isn't just boosted by physical attacks but also by special moves." Sarah said which to Nemona's horror, the Charge Beam surpasses the Thunder Shock and hits Pawmi causing a puff of smoke to appear KO'ing Pawmi who has swirls in his eyes. "And Pawmi is unable to battle! Bellibolt wins!" Ash says as Sarah pets her Bellibolt's head (who's Tera disappeared) and Nemona goes to her Pawmi out of concern, but Pawmi gets back up.
"You did great Pawmi, we'll keep trying harder next time." Nemona said scratching Pawmi's head before it climbs on Nemona shoulder to face rub her, Nemona goes to Sarah handshaking her with Penny, Dean and Arven near Ash and Pikachu. "Thank you for this battle, Sarah, it really helped with my training." Nemona said happily, "Not a problem, I owed Ash an apology and a favor, so I was willing to help out when it came to your training."
"Thanks for your help, Sarah. I needed Nemona to know about that there will be trainers who want to battle you and you need to be prepared for what's about to come on your journey." Ash said as Nemona nods, "Yep and now I feel like I can take on the toughest of trainers!" Nemona said all fired up, but Ash puts his hands up.
"Now Nemona, you shouldn't rush in like that. You need strategy and preparation in order to take on these battles, you shouldn't rush in too early or you'll get wiped immediately." Ash informs Nemona to which Arven steps up.
"Ah yes like the cream incident a year bac-"
"You don't need to mention that, Harvey!"
"Harvey!? It's Arvy- wait no Arven!"
"Did you really have to bring a random incident up at a random time like this/Tito." Both Penny and her Sprigatito said bluntly. Jacq walks by and sees the lovely sight of sibling-like rivalry.
"Ah you guys remind me of how my sister, brother, and I used to bicker, you guys are like siblings." Jacq said happily but the trainers (sans Ash, Dean and Sarah) look at Jacq with utter madness. "We don't act like siblings!" all three said, "You're all look like you're prepared for next week's Treasure Hunt." Jacq said causing the trio to stop fighting and look on with new determination in their eyes.
"Oh yeah, next week is that Treasure Hunt. I wonder what Treasure we'll find Squawkabilly!?" "Squawk!" both Dean and his Squawkabilly say excitedly, "I can assure you it's probably not that type of Treasure." Sarah said bluntly.
"I'm ready for the adventure and getting my gym badges! What about you guys?" Nemona asks everyone else.
"Me and Squawkabilly are aiming for seeing the ten sights of Paldea!" "Squawk!" both Dean and his Squawkabilly say, "The Ten sights of Paldea?" Ash asks.
"They're ten marvelous sights in the region that are known for their unique nature and are popular tourist attractions, but some require a lot of work to make it to the locations." Dean tells Ash.
Sarah went next, "My goal is to go for the gym challenge as well going through the toughest trainers to the lower ranked trainers meeting new friends along the way." which causes Ash to be surprised over what Sarah said due to last time.
"You're going for the region's gym challenge; I thought you weren't interested?" Ash asks but Sarah softly smiles, "Well I wasn't interested at first, until a certain trainer once told me that there were indeed some people who are hardworking enough to take on these gym challenges so I might as well do the same and race Nemona up to the top and then eventually, battle you, Ash."
"I wonder who that trainer is?" Ash asks confused bewildering the group except for Sarah who softly chuckles and then Nemona looks at her with newfound flames, "Well consider me your rival/Paw!" Both Nemona and Pawmi say as both trainers shake on it.
"My goal for the Treasure Hunt is a secret." Arven says bluntly, "Mine too." Penny said also bluntly. Nemona gives a cat smile and goes to Arven and Penny, "Come on you two, I know you want to say it?-" Nemona said with a cat smile and all 3 began to bicker comedically while Ash looks on at the group happy but can't shake a certain feeling off. "Pikachu, we came all this way and although I'm happy they found what they're going to do, I still haven't found what I want to do yet." "Pika." Pikachu said sadly but Jacq puts a hand on Ash's shoulder.
"Try not to worry about it for now Ash, I'm sure you'll find something next week or maybe you'll find something today at the Champion headquarters." Jacq said encouragingly, "Thanks Jacq. I was wondering what you needed earlier." Ash asks to which Jacq immediately remembers.
"I almost forgot; Ash I have your new updated Dex for ya now with the function to scan Hisuian Pokemon. Why don't you try it out?" Jacq says to Ash giving him back his dex, "Say Arven-" "Can do little buddy, Morada come on out." Arven says as his Hisuian Sneasel comes out of the ball and looking calm.
"Sneasel." She said casually as Ash scans her,
Sneasel (Hisuian Form), The Sharp Claw Pokemon, Poison/Fighting. This Pokemon is said to be from the ancient past and was known for being much calmer than its Johtonian cousin. This Pokemon's claws are known for grabbing on to rocks when climbing and loves the thrill of battles although, stay away from its poisonous claws.
"That is impressive." Ash says, "It took a lot of scanning, but it now should be on everyone's dex with an update and the worldwide dex battlebase." Jacq said, "You mean Database?" Penny tells Jacq who clears his throat. "Yes database, thank you. Well guys, I think we should head to homeroom and prepare for the adventure." Jacq tells the group.
"Right." they all said as they head to Jacq's homeroom.
We see the Jacq's homeroom all in their seats ready to go with Jacq and Clavell in front of the class with the announcements ready. Clavell clears his throat and says, "Well good morning class, I'm sure you're all aware of what's going to happen but today I have 3 announcements for you today with the first being, happy birthday Abby." referring to a young woman in the back row who the class claps for.
"My 2nd announcement is one that today we are heading to the Champion headquarters where we'll meet not only our chairman of this delightful school, but also our very own Top champion of this region so I want you all to be respectful and if have any questions, make sure to raise your hands if you have any questions." immediately after Clavell said that, a blind female student with her support Midday Lycanroc and a male aid (she sits next to Dean) raised her hand.
"Ah yes Verde?" Clavell asks the student, "What's the champion like?" Verde asks Clavell who gives an honest answer, "To best describe her, she's tall and slender, has dark skin, rather long black hair mixed with blue accents and her she has a more charismatic personality though she can get a bit clumsy." Clavell said.
"Wouldn't you get in trouble for saying she's clumsy." Ash asks to which Clavell freezes up, "Pretend I never said that, but you'll find out what I mean soon enough master Ash." Clavell said a bit scared of the repercussions. Clavell clears his throat again and continues, "And finally, although this announcement is meant for next week, I'll at least give you a sneak peek for what's to come. Next week will be our yearly Treasure Hunt, a sort of independent study assignment where you as students will find something you treasure for the rest of your lives maybe it's love, the adventure, friends and family, career or maybe literal treasure. Whatever it is, it's up to you to find that treasure of yours and make sure you remember it for the rest of your future. You can go where you want in order to find that Treasure but make sure you don't forget about us, you're always welcome to come back for assignments and by the end of your Treasure Hunt, I want you to write an essay about your experiences and if you found that Treasure of yours."
With that speech, Ash is impressed. He isn't sure of what he wants to do for his Treasure hunt, but he knows that by the end of it, it will be something that was worth coming to Paldea for but what that Treasure and his goal was still something he has to figure out.
"And with that, grab your bags and meet us at the front door in 6 minutes everyone." Jacq said as everyone got their bags together, but Ash sat there thinking to himself, "Pika?" Pikachu asks his partner who snaps back to reality, "I'm fine bud, let's get going." Ash said rubbing Pikachu's fur as he stood up to catch up with the others.
The group begins to walk towards the Champion Headquarters, it was a long walk for sure especially when Clavell wasn't sure where the gate was that leads into the long hill but they eventually find the location and began walking up the long hill, the group saw many Pokemon wandering about peacefully with even some places to stop and rest. The group eventually make it to the doors of the headquarters after 15 minutes.
"Hoo boy, why wasn't this headquarters in Mesagoza." Arven said huffing, "To be honest, I'm not sure myself but they it's due to wanting trainers to have a- challenge of sorts before making it here." Clavell said also huffing but eventually gets his stuff together. "Either way, this everyone is the Champion's headquarters, the trainer's final destination. We shall head inside, and you'll see the wonderful things there are inside." Clavell opens the door to reveal the lobby which had some front desks and some windows that revealed different rooms where trainers are training, some are battling while others are working on their computer, it wasn't the most impressive, but it looked nice and even smelled nice.
Ash is left at awe over this building as while it was nothing too special, it felt like a unique place for a trainer's finale compared to an ordinary arena like he's used to throughout the other regions. We see Geeta walking to the lobby but before she could speak, she bumps into a wall and stumbles backwards catching the attention of Clavell, Nemona and Jacq who immediately go to her aid and pull her up.
"La Primera, are you alright?" Nemona asks Geeta who laughs it off, "I'm alright Nemona, I'm alright although that was a bit embarrassing for a champion like me." Geeta said dusting herself off before looking to Arven, "Arven my boy, how are you doing? And is your mom doing well?" Getta asks to which Arven sighs, "Still held up at the lab as always." Arven says casually before Geeta looks to Penny. "And Pennywenny, how are you and your mom doing?" Geeta said cheerfully, "We're doing good, my mom learned a new magic trick involving Meowscarada's flower." Penny says also casually before Ash asks her.
"You know Geeta?" Ash asks, "Pretty much, my mom works at the Cortondo gym as an office worker and Geeta is a family friend and my former babysitter hence the nickname." Penny groaned as Arven went next, "My parents talk to Geeta a lot, sometimes about the most boring things like a Garchomp's scales." Arven said as Nemona went next, "My dad is a promoter for the champion with the Pokewatches." Nemona said although it seems like she doesn't want to talk about it. Geeta then looks to Ash and Pikachu with excitement in her eyes.
"And you must be Ash, it's so good to finally meet the first Alolan Champion and the newest World Champion in the flesh himself." Geeta said as both champions shake hands, "And you must be the Top Champion of Paldea, it's good to meet you as well." Ash said politely as they stop handshaking and Geeta picks up the cute electric mouse, "And you must be the champion's ace himself, the little Pikachu, you're so cute! I had a Pikachu as a kid come here." Geeta said rubbing Pikachu who resisted the urge to use Thunderbolt against Geeta for obvious reasons.
Geeta then put Pikachu down before she looks to the rest of the class, "And for the rest of you who are unfamiliar with me, I am Geeta or La Primera, the Top Champion of Paldea and your school's chairman. I run the region's schools to make sure they're in tip top shape and our students are happy but today we aren't going to learn about that complicated stuff about filing papers or choosing the best donuts but instead, we're going to explore the headquarters and see what they have to offer and there will be a major surprise at the end, so I'll guide the way." Geeta said ushering the students along as we see 4 familiar looking janitors looking away having a conversation two of them being Meowth and a Wobbuffet and the other two being Jessie and James but with a wig.
"Jessiana, are you sure you want to spy on them like this? Yesterday, we were pummeled by Geeta's Baxcalibur yesterday and let me remind you, Baxcalibur can send an oil tanker flying and we have that 4 eyed headmaster who can see through our costumes with no problem!" James said to the nicknamed Jessie who scoffs. "Well Jameson, we're wearing wigs and have our hair covered by these hats so I don't think they'll notice and secondly, only that Clavell guy knows who we truly are so as long as we keep our distance, we can spy on the two champions and possibly capture their aces with no problem at all." Jessiana said bluntly.
"Well either way, let's keep working for now. We get a 8000 Pokedollar bonus for our first day." Meowth said as the two grunts have money signs in their eyes and keep working.
We see the group going through the halls checking out the rooms, "For that room over there is where trainers have free battles with all sorts of trainers for fun or for our ranked tournaments." Geeta said as they look into a room to see a female trainer with her Eelektross battling a male trainer with his Goodra before they moved on to the lounge area.
"This right here is the lounge area where many of our trainers, employees and our beloved champion ranked trainers can stay and hang out, look at the bulletin board for updates and other events and even buy snacks and food from the next-door cafeteria." Geeta continued as Dean raised his hand, "Yes Dean?" Geeta asks the energetic student, "Speaking of Champion trainers, do you know where the Elite Four are?" Dean asks.
"Unfortunately, they had some other 'commitments' to do today, and they won't be back until later and unfortunately, their rooms are locked so we can't see where they stay but we do have their fields nearby as compensation." Geeta said as she led the group to a room where it looked rather plain at least at first. "It looks rather plain." Ash said to which Geeta nods, "It does, but if I press this button here." Geeta then presses a button for 'Ground' and the field changes to a rocky like area with a mixture of mud like areas which impresses the group.
"This here is Rika's battleground." Geeta said which causes the group (sans Clavell, Ash and Geeta) to start blushing, "Wait Rika herself is an Elite Four member? Ms. Prince!?" a random student says as the group starts to act like fanboys. "What's up with them?" Ash asks which causes a seriously blushing Penny to explain, "Rika is a famous model, actress and even spokesperson in Paldea and was once Platano academy's champion representative and is very popular amongst everyone even supposedly starring in a movie as a famous prince and Kalos champion Diantha as the love interest in development although that has yet to be neither confirmed nor denied but anything to just meet her in person and I'll melt with excitement." Penny said with hearts in her eyes as she was in love.
Clavell coughs to get everyone's attention, "Now I know you're excited about Rika and trust me, she's a fantastic actress in a very fantastic movie I got to shake her hand onc- err I mean but you can wait until the Champion's club starts next week if you want to talk about more about every champion but for now, we have to move on." Clavell said informally which gets Geeta chuckling. "You're all funny students, but for now, we'll head up to our most famous attraction, the King's court aka my battlefield so come along." Geeta said as they head through the doors with TR camouflaging themselves among the chrome walls.
"You hear that, Jess? they're heading up to see the battlefield. I'd say this is our chance to get up there and see what's the jest of their potential battle and- wait who are you looking at?" James- I mean Jameson asked Jessiana as she was looking at her phone of Rika who also had hearts in her eyes similar to the students.
"They were right, Rika is both the most handsome and beautiful person out there alive. Oh, how I want to go on a date with that lass right now!" Jessiana said with hearts in her eyes as Jameson questions himself, is everyone a fanboy/girl here, though I can see why Jameson thought to himself as Meowth and Wobuffet were looking at the health benefits of working at the headquarters.
The group eventually reach the top of the building where we see a massive beige battlefield where the two sides have crowns and an X in the middle where the class looked on in awe especially Ash and Pikachu.
"This here is my battlefield, the Corte Del Ray or the King's court where many trainers take on me in their final challenge to become a champion ranked of the region however, there are trainers and people out there who do good things for their community that have received the champion rank through good deeds so if you have no interest of becoming a trainer and do the right thing, you might receive a rank but if do decide to face me, be prepared for the hardest challenge of your life." Geeta said with honesty as the trainers look on with awe and amazement while Ash looks on with determination and looks to his Pikachu.
"Say Pikachu? you thinking what I'm thinking bud?" Ash asked his partner who thought the same thing as him and raises his hand to which Geeta calls upon him, "Ms. Geeta, I have a request? Because we're important champions in a way, I was wondering if I could have a battle with you, a regular friendly battle?" Ash asks which causes the audience to gasp and even Clavell to faint with the students starting to talk amongst themselves.
"Is he serious? This is going to be a crazy battle!"
"Well, I assume it's not a serious battle plus he made that sort of thing back during his first day here so I wouldn't be surprised if he'd want to do that and they're both major champions with La Primera being our champion and Ash for Alola and the world itself. Wait, does that mean Geeta answers to Ash if he's the World Champion?"
"Oh Ash." Penny said concerned.
"Hopefully it doesn't get too wild." Arven said concerned.
"That's the spirit sensei!" Nemona said cheerfully but the other two look to her, "Err I mean, this could be bad." Nemona said changing her attitude.
Both champions look to each other seriously before Geeta chuckles, "Hahaha, I knew you were going to ask that because I was going to say the same thing. Ash, how would you like to battle against me on the court?" Geeta asks the young lad. "Consider it done, right Pikachu?" "Pika!"
"Well then, everyone, please enjoy the final event of the tour. A battle between champions and a battle." Geeta said getting everyone's intrest as Geeta heads to the battlefield while Ash grabs his Pokeballs to relaease Quaxly and Cyclizar, "I want you two to watch the battle for training in the future." Ash tells the two of them as they cry out their names in excitement and both Ash and Pikachu head to the field for battle.
Geeta looks on amused with Ash and Pikachu, "I heard you only brought Pikachu with you, how intriguing." Geeta said amused, "I like to make new friends here in order to take my time and Pikachu here is tough despite his appearance." Ash said stretching. "I watched your battles, and I can tell you and your Pikachu have a bond like no other especially in battle and I presume he's your starter?" Geeta asks grabbing her Pokeball. "That's right, since day 1 and we've been inseparable ever since." Ash said as he and his buddy high fived and Pikachu walked on the field prepared.
Geeta chuckles, "Then let me show you my ace and my starter as well. Shine on Kingambit and show your blades!" Geeta said as she threw her Luxury Ball in the air to release a Pokemon like no other, it was a large humanoid Pokemon that resembled a taller Bisharp with a twin blade mustache and a large blade on its head and sat on its hair(?) as a chair which really impresses the group especially Ash who has stars in his eyes.
"That Pokemon is awesome!" Ash said, "Impressive right, she's my pride and enjoy ever since I started Pokemon training, and we never left each other's side ever since." Geeta said hugging her Kingambit who blushes and looks away embarassed, "Though my Kingambit is kind of shy and stubborn but we're the best of friends like you and Pikachu." Geeta continued as Ash grabbed his dex:
Kingambit, The Big Blade Pokemon, a Dark/Steel type and the final evolved form of Pawniard. This Pokemon is said to have evolved from Bisharp once it became the top don of a group of Bisharp and Pawniard. This Pokemon's blades are known to be so sharp that they can cut a 52,000-ton boat in half.
This information seems to intrigue Ash as he and Pikachu marvel at the Pokemon before Jacq walks to the sidelines preparing to referee the fight, "Well I guess since we have our Pokemon out, I'll be your referee. This battle will be a 1 on 1 with the winner being decided on who's left standing, the use of Terastalization is allowed and will the two of you be using your Pokemon here?"
"Yes." both champions say, "Well then, you may begin!" Jacq said as he stepped back. Geeta then points to Ash, "You may have the first move." Geeta says as Ash smirks and thinks to himself, Kingambit looks to be slow if it's sitting on a chair thing, so with Pikachu's quick speed, I maybe able to out speed it in attacking Ash thought to himself, "Alright Pikachu use Iron Tail!" Ash commanded as Pikachu's tail metallicized and began to run at Kingambit whose serious face became that of a scared individual and put her hands up stopping Pikachu and confusing Ash although Geeta seemed to be unphased.
Everyone else is also confused, "Is Kingambit a scaredy Meowth?" Arven asks while TR (who is near the doorway) was nearby restraining Meowth for being called scaredy, "Not quite, just watch." Clavell said as if he's seen this before.
"Are you alright Kingambit?" Ash asks to which Geeta chuckles, "Oh, she's just apologetic towards others when it comes to battling and will typically apologize beforehand in a typical Johtonian style apology." Geeta says as her Pokemon kneels down from her throne and Pikachu also kneels, Kingambit then begins to bow and that's when its blades start to glow with a dark red energy and even Ash and even the class realize that it was going to attack.
"Kowtow... Cleave." Geeta said simply as Kingambit began to rush its head down to attack with Ash taking quick action, "Pikachu Iron Tail quickly!" Ash said as Pikachu's tail metalized and jump to clash with Kingambit's large blade. Both Pokemon were clashing with each other with Pikachu on the ground trying to push Kingambit away but it's strength was commendable enough to resist Iron Tail. "That's impressive!" the TR trio said surprised and the others not too far behind.
"That Arven was Kowtow Cleave, Kingambit's signature move that involves it bowing to another as if it was praising or apologizing but in reality, it's to use it's large blade for attacking and never misses due to it's dark energy from the blade being able to extend up to the opposing trainer if needed." Clavell says to the shocked student.
Ash had to think of something fast and thought of it.
"Pikachu charge yourself with electricity for a quick burst jump!" Ash said as Pikachu charged itself up and quickly used his strength to push away Kingambit's blade and is in the air while Kingambit tries to recover, "Pikachu now use Electro Web!" Ash said as Pikachu creates his electrical web and launches it towards Kingambit sending it to the ground off of its chair and shocking it.
"Ash may win this won." Penny said, "I wouldn't count on that yet, our La Primera always has an idea when it comes to her battle strategy and uses it to counteract some weaknesses of hers." Clavell says as the battle kept going. "Alright Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" Ash said as Pikachu began to charge itself up but Geeta simply smiles, "Metal Sound." Geeta said simply as Kingambit (still on the ground) began to cross her arms and begins to create a shrilling noise that causes everyone to cover their ears and annoying Pikachu to the point that it couldn't create his thunderbolt and began to fall.
"Iron Head." Geeta said as Kingambit's head (including the blades) began to glow with metal and rose up quickly to use its head to attack Pikachu sending it flying back towards Ash and getting back to her throne. "PIKACHU!" Ash says but Pikachu gets back up despite the injury prepared to fight, "Pika!" Pikachu said with determination. "So, I see her strategy now, her ace is very slow so it can't rush in but what it lacks in speed it more than makes up in power, so Geeta uses this by making them wait till they come to Kingambit and tries to attaack from their and when the opponent has the chance, Metal Sound is used to distract them and land a very powerful blow. I just hope Ash can adapt to this." Nemona says as TR nod to themselves.
"I think we put this plan into action. C'mon, I placed our bag near a bush when we got here." James said as they prepare to leave and Nemona notices them, "Say Mr. Clavell, do you know where the bathroom is?" Nemona asks to which Clavell points to his right, "Right down the stairs and to your right." "Thanks." Nemona said as she went to where TR were heading and Clavell also happens to notice TR and nods to himself. He goes to Jacq's ear and tells him he'll be right back and Jacq nods as he prepares to head downstairs Pokeball in hand.
What should I do, if we try to get close, it will try to use Kowtow Cleave and if we try to trap her, she'll use Metal Sound so maybe, trip it from the front. Ash thought to himself before going with the plan, "Alright Pikachu use Iron Tail!" Ash said as Pikachu's tail metalized and began to run, "That same trick again, alright then. Kingambit use Kowtow Cleave!" Geeta said more seriously as Kingambit's blade started to charge up with Dark energy and began to bow and rushed to attack.
"Pikachu, jump back southwest!" Ash said as Pikachu jumped back causing Geeta to be shocked before she could do anything, her Kingambit bows down to attack only for its blade and energy to miss and be stuck. "Now Pikachu use Iron Tail on that blade to cement it!" Ash said as Pikachu jumped to use Iron Tail on the blade causing it to be stuck to the ground even more surprising Geet. "Now that's impressive." Geeta said casually as Ash had other plans, "Pikachu Electro Web!" Ash said as Pikachu released an electrical web to trap Kingambit from the front causing her to take damage from the web.
"You are one impressive boy, now I think it's time for our Terastalization but you can attack." Geeta said holding her Tera Stone and throwing it, "If you say so? Pikachu Quick Attack!" Ash said as Pikachu began to rush over to Kingambit to attack and Geeta smirks as her Kingambit Terastalizes and when Pikachu try to land an attack, it went through Kingambit and that's to Ash, Pikachu and the class's horror when they realize that Kingambit's Tera type was Ghost making it immune to Normal and Fighting moves and the hat resembled a ghost of sorts.
"No way." Ash said as Geeta casually smiles once more as Kingambit gets back up, "Shadow Claw." Geeta said as Kingambit's arms began to glow with a dark purple energy and the hat began to glow with ghostly energy and attacks Pikachu sending it back towards Ash.
Arven began to realize the circumstances of the battle, "I see what she's doing, her Kingambit is severely weak to Fighting types and Kingambit's Tera type is normally Dark or Steel, but she tricks opponents into using Normal or Fighting moves and then Terastalizes into a Ghost type to make her immune allowing them to pass through Kingambit and then land a Shadow Claw by surprise. It seems like the finale is coming up soon." Arven said as the class anxiously awaited the outcome and that's when they heard a boom and eventually 6 figures flying off revealed to be TR which catches everyone's attention including Ash and Geeta who look on in utter disbelief.
"We're blasting off again!" the group say as they disappear with a twinkle.
"Team Rocket?" Ash says as he looks on in confusion and that's when Clavell and Nemona emerge from the doorway with their uniforms being dirty and Nemona carrying Fuecoco who looked to be happy about something. "Clavell, Nemona, is everything ok?" Ash and Geeta said to which they nod, "Just a scuffle with Team Rocket is all." "And Fuecoco learned Snarl!" Nemona said happily.
"Team Rocket, I'm sorry for their actions and getting you involved." Ash said disappointed, "Try not to worry about it Ash, I'll be here to protect the students no matter what." Clavell said to which Geeta nods, "And plus, they're following you right? Then it isn't your fault, and you don't seem to be involved with their screams so for today, just enjoy the battle." Geeta said positively which causes Ash's flow to be back in a battling phase. "Right" Ash said with his confidence back and his Pikachu ready for battle, Ash grabs his Tera Stone, and it glows.
"Let's finish this buddy!" Ash said to his Pikachu who nodded, and Ash throws his Tera Stone towards Pikachu who Terastalized into his Electric Tera hat, Geeta now focused begins to call out her move, "Kingambit use Shadow Claw!" Geeta said as her Kingambit's claws start to form shadowy claws and did something unexpected, she hardens her legs and then hops towards Pikachu at quick speed catching everyone off guard.
"I didn't expect it to rush all out like that but Pikachu, use Iron Tail!" Ash said as Pikachu's tail metalized and rushed towards Kingambit clashing with Kingambit's Shadow Claw multiple times like a sword clashing with another sword though the Shadow Claw was slightly stronger due to the Ghost Tera boost. Eventually, Pikachu jumped in the air to land a hit and Geeta sees her chance, "Kingambit grab Pikachu by the tail." Geeta said simply to her Pokemon who used both hands to grab the mouse Pokemon leaving it in a predicament.
"Metal Sound." Geeta said, "Electro Web point blank!" Ash said countering back as Pikachu released his Electro Web point blank and Kingambit created a shrilling noise which let Pikachu go but left him disoriented and Kingambit annoyed with the electrical web. Eventually, Pikachu shakes it off (though a bit out of loop) while Kingambit is getting the final webs off. "Pikachu combine your electricity with Iron Tail!" Ash said as Pikachu combined his electricity and metalized and his Tera hat starts to light up and boost the electricity to abnormal levels of sparking.
The students look on impressed and intrigue, "Pikachu's electricity is going off the walls. Is Pikachu that powerful or is something up?" Penny asks. "Who knows but I feel like the finale is coming on." Nemona said anxiously.
"Kingambit, let's finish this with Shadow Claw!" Geeta said as Kingambit's Tera hat began to glow and release ghostly spirits and Kingambit's hands formed shadowy claws and rushed towards Pikachu. Pikachu then preceded to rush towards Kingambit at quick speed and his tail sparking like crazy and both clash their attacks with a puff of smoke appearing. The students and Ash's Pokemon look on with intrigue as to what the outcome was and eventually, the smoke clears to see both Pokemon opposite from each other heavily injured and out of breath.
Both Pokemon are breathing heavily until, both Pokemon fainted to the ground with their Tera hats disappearing shocking both champions as they (including Ash's Pokemon) head to their Pokemon and shocking everyone in the crowd (pun not intended).
"No way." Dean said exasperated,
"The battle ended in a draw!?" Sarah said shocked.
"That's going to be one for the school papers tomorrow." Arven said.
"Both Pokemon are unable to battle, this battle ends in a draw!" Jacq said as the champions check on their Pokemon, "Pikachu, are you alright/Quax/Zar?" Ash and his Pokemon say to which Pikachu nods. "Kingambit are you alright?" Geeta said to her beloved Pokemon who also nods before Geeta looks to Ash with a renewed smile on her face.
"Well Ash, I finally see why you're considered the World Champion and I'm glad I've battled you for the first time." Geeta said sincerely as she shakes Ash's hand, "Thanks! It was good to battle the champion of this region and I hope to do so again in the future." Ash said as Geeta nods to not only Ash but herself.
In another room, we can see the figures from before (including Rika) sitting from a monitor with one figure crying, another typing away at a computer and the small figure asleep on Rika's lap as Rika thinks to herself.
So, this is what the World Champion is made of, I have a feeling that Geeta will walk in with a new idea as soon as they heal their Pokemon so I should probably be ready for what's about to happen. Rika thought.
We see the class and Jacq waiting at the lobby with their gift bags waiting for Ash's Pikachu to get healed and Clavell and Geeta to finish their conversation as they all anxiously. "Well Ash, I don't know how you did but you made our La Primera draw for the first time." Dean said as Ash looked on confused.
"You mean she never had a draw before?" Ash asks to which Nemona shook her head, "Not exactly, she wins and loses a lot of battles but never had a draw before and while I don't mean to discredit the champion, this either means her power was comparable to yours or who knows." Nemona said unsure of herself. "So how is a Top Champion chosen?" Ash asks once more.
"The thing is, a Top Champion is chosen if they can successfully protect the region, lead others and be the strongest in the region, whereas it's different elsewhere. If you want to be the Top Champion, you need to show you can handle things. Or so I heard." Jacq said. Eventually, we see Nurse Joy carrying Pikachu with Clavell holding something behind his back and Geeta and her Kingambit walking (or sliding in Kingambit's case towards the lobby.
"Ash Ketchum, I'm happy to report that your Pikachu is feeling fine although we weren't able to find the reason towards that electricity so it may just be a case of its Tera charging or something else altogether." Joy said as Pikachu hopped on Ash's shoulder to face rub him. "Thanks Nurse Joy." Ash said to the cheerful nurse as she walked away and both Geeta and Clavell stand in front of Ash.
"Ash, I am very impressed with your battling style and so I offer you on the behalf of our La Primera herself, a medal and a proposition by her." Clavell said he presents Ash's medal which was gold in color and has a metal Master Ball imprinted on this medal which impresses Ash. Geeta then clears her throat and smiles towards Ash.
"Well Ash, I'm impressed today. Your power was immense, and you managed to clash with me to the point of getting my first draw, so I commend you for that and I'm willing to battle you again. However, I have to keep things fair by requiring everyone to take on the gym challenge in order to reach me but after a conversation with my group, I'm willing on making a deal." Geeta says which gets both trainer and Pokemon interested.
"A deal?" Ash asks, Geeta then nods and continues. "My deal is this, if you choose to accept, you have to find each member of the Elite Four who will be spread out throughout the region who will each hold a badge for you. Once you collect all 4 badges, I will accept your challenge for a ful and if you win, I'll grant you a spot as one of our Top Champions in Paldea."
This new info causes everyone to be surprised and Ash to be interested and decides to think for a moment, Me!? On a journey to find these 4 trainers and then battle the champion herself at full strength. This could be exciting and plus, everyone seems to have a goal for the Treasure Hunt, and I don't have one other than training Nemona so. Ash thought to himself before nodding.
"Consider it done." Ash said with determination which excites the class and Geeta smiles, "Well then, I'm glad you accepted. Each of the 4 will be located in the different locations with Rika being located in Ponto Estelar in the North, Poppy being found in Levincia in the East, Larry being found in Medali in the West but the last one is a secret within Mesagoza itself. And class, I know you likely know what they look like or who the last one is but I urge you to keep quiet about this unless Ash is confused or lost but otherwise, are you up for the challenge?" Geeta tells Ash who smirks.
"We've been through so many challenges in the past throughout all the regions we've been to, so I don't see what's stopping us now/Pika!" Ash and Pikachu say with determination which gets a smile out of both Clavell and Geeta and gets the class excited.
"Well then Master Ash and Master Pikachu, I wish the best of luck. It just hits so different." Clavell said happily but everyone (including Geeta and her Kingambit) cringe at the use of the slang.
"That's not how you even the 'hits so different' slogan." Everyone says as Clavell began looking at more modern slang, but Geeta gets back to Ash. "Well then Ash, I hope to see you to see you at the top although you are already a top champion to everyone's eyes including me." Geeta said happily and Pikachu goes to look up at Kingambit.
"Pika Pika!" Pikachu said with determination, but Kingambit looks down at Pikachu with a smirk, "King!" Kingambit said with a smirk as they both stared at each other as if they were rivals which their trainers chuckled at but Nemona goes to Ash with excitement in her eyes.
"Ash congratulations, now you'll have something to do while being my mentor. It will be like a road trip movie; we'll have to survive in the forest, see all the sights in Paldea and even get a selfie on top of the world!" Nemona said with excitement, "I'm pretty sure in those movies they don't go to forests to survive if it's a road trip movie." Ash said.
"Nah uh, there's this one movie-" Nemona continues the conversation with Ash over this particular movie while Penny and Arven look on in the distance with a plan in their respective eyes and now is the time to do so.
I think it's time for Ash to help us out too they both thought to themselves.
And so, after a thrilling battle between champions. Ash is given a new goal to find these 4 champion-ranked trainers who comprise of the Elite Four and earn their badges in order to face the La Primera herself and earn a spot as a Top Champion and hopefully something to treasure as well as the journey continues.
Hey hey, the author here and I hope you enjoy this chapter of Pokemon SVTA, sorry for the abrupt ending note but I have to go somewhere later so I'll leave off on a quick note, but I'll be sure to talk more in the next chapter. I also mean't to add a scene of Nemona fighting TR but due to lost data and time, I'll be sure to include this scene in an extra chapter.
Yeah, I know this chapter was kind of rush with the content and I apologize. I had to rewrite this a couple of times due to lost data, so I want to make sure the content was perfect and at the same make it entertaining for you all.
Yes, I know for some certain people there's a lack of conflict for Ash or just doesn't fit because Ash is already a champion and such. I apologize if this story isn't up for some people's expectations, I've been trying to make it enjoying for a lot of people because I want to have fun writing it but I'll try to give conflict and such for Ash but please give me some time, I'm sorry.
I apologize for the rushed afterword, I'm just tired right now but I'll be sure to talk more about this chapter in the next one where it will focus on Ash's first weekend and him teaming up with Arven for a so-called Titan Pokemon.
