Hello and welcome to a new chapter of Pokemon SVTA where today, we'll be focusing on Ash and Penny hanging out and Ash learning more about Penny and her goals when it comes to the Treasure Hunt when suddenly, Team Star steals Pikachu thinking that Ash stole Pikachu from a disguised TR when in actuality, TR tricked them into stealing Pikachu and now it's up to Ash, Penny and Team Star to save Pikachu while Ash gets to learn more about Team Star as individuals rather than what others make them out to be, Penny wanting to stop Team Star and even a certain headmaster joins as a guest star.
We're definitely entering the action-packed territory as we have this, Carmine's arrival, Nemona's 2nd focused episode, a friendship story and possibly a filler episode before the plot starts to kick into motion.
We also have an updated move roaster for Quaxly (from last chapter), Fuecoco and Pawmi (from chapter 8 onwards):

Also in this chapter, we will see Penny's Sprigatito in action for the first time and some fun moments but for now, I hope you enjoy.
The day prior
We see TR at a nearby pond having just landed after being sent off by the Titan Klawf, all 4 of them are wet and tired and would rather get back to their hideout. They got out of the pond and prepared to walk.
"Alright, we're in agreement that James and Wobuffet will handle the next one with clear plans beforehand?" Meowth tells Jessie who sighs but nods, "Yes, we'll have them handle it, deal?" Jessie says to the group who nods.
"Alright, now how do we get back to Mesagoza?" Meowth says trying to search for the Mesagoza gate and James gets out his Rotom phone (from Journeys) which revealed they weren't too far off the gate, "Haha, we aren't too far off. Just a little walk and then we'll be back in home turf." James says enthusiastically but Jessie and Meowth are more surprised about the phone.
"You had Rotom phone with you the whole time!?" Jessie says surprised, "Oh yeah, I kind of forgot about it, haha." James says casually but the phone starts to beep angerliy. "Yeah, I've been stuck in this stinkin pocket for a month and you guys foget about me!" Rotom phone said with a female Unovan Accent (think of it as a Brooklyn accent).
"When did you gain an accent?" Meowth says, "Since I wanted to step up for myself lame cat! Now that you've awakened me, I will be your primary scanner and your ye ha compadre!" the Rotom phone said again but with a southern accent, "Why do you keep switching voices!" Jessie asks but before the phone could answer, the Klawf that was following the group holding James's bag shouts its name and jumps down horrifying the group.
"It's a Klawf!" Meowth says petrified as the Jessie and James grab their Pokeballs, Rotom phone begins to analyze it.
"Klawf, the Ambush Pokemon, Rock type. It uses its big claws to eat lunch maybe even a salad." Rotom phone says unenthusiastically which gets on Jessie's nerves, "Couldn't you sound enthusiastic about describing Klawf!?" the now angry Jessie says to the phone as Klawf rushes towards them.
But Klawf holds out the bag requesting help. "It's our bag, we must've dropped it when that Titan threw us." Jessies says to which Klawf nods and says, "Klaw Klaw." to which Jessie looks to Meowth, "Meowth, translate." Jessie asks Meowth who responds, "It just wants some help opening the bag, he smells something good in there." Meowth translates to which James knows what he's talking about.
"Oh, you must be referring to these delicious chocolate frosting churros I bought. Here, let me open that." James says as he grabs the bag and opens them up to grab the churros which there were enough for each one of them including the Klawf, James grabs a churro and gives one to Klawf. "You were a kind help when it came to the bag, so I want you to have one." James says kindly as Klawf happily munches on the churro and the gang prepare to leave.
"Well, take care." James says but Klawf rushes to James and hugs him happily, "Oh, you're welcome. It looks like you want to come with me?" James says to the enthusiastic Pokemon who nods or at least, shakes its body up and down due to a lack of a neck. "Well then, welcome aboard." James says touching Klawf with his Great Ball as it shakes and sparkles signaling Klawf's capture.
"You didn't need to do that." Jessie says but James shakes his head, "Nah, I like having more company and also we'll have more power if we do this. Klawf and Grafaiai come on out!" James says happily as both Pokemon come out of their Pokeballs happily.
"Now you two, I want you to get along well with each other, understood?" James tells his two Pokemon who nod with glee and Grafaiai proceeds to do a fist bump only for Grafaiai to accidentally use its pointer finger to accidentally poison James and Klawf grabs him happily and throws him in the air.
"So this is my own blast off!?" James said flying off, "When do you think he'll come down?" Jessie asks to which both Meowth and Wobuffet shrug, "Maybe 5 minutes?" Meowth says, "Wobuffet." Wobuffet said in agreement as they all sat and wait.
It was another beautiful day on Ash's first weekend off where we see Ash instructing Nemona on some battle basics of practicing by yourself just in case your friends aren't interested and also have your Pokemon teach one another through battling, and we also see Arven and his Sneasel taking notes on the sidelines.
"When it comes to traveling and battles, you often train by yourself, but this can be important when it comes to training and learning more about your Pokemon. If you have the two train against each other, they'll learn more about the other and how they should adapt to future battles at gyms or if you fail one, you can strategize a plan in the future. These battles are friendly of course and you need to be focused and call out both commands when the time is right. For today, I want you to train by yourself using Fuecoco and Pawmi." Ash says but Nemona looks nervous, "Ash, do you think it will work?" Nemona asks but Ash smiles.
"I'm sure it will, you just need to have confidence in yourself. Arven, take notes." Ash says to Arven as he's well prepared with a notepad, "You got it little buddy!" Arven says writing this information down before Nemona looks on with confidence and looks to her Pokemon. "Alright, you ready you two!?" Nemona said excitedly as her Pokemon cheered on and got into places.
"Alright Fuecoco use Tackle and Pawmi dodge it!" Nemona said but her Pokemon looked on confused, "Don't call out dodging early, wait till it's the right time." Ash says to which Nemona nods and gets back to battling. We see Penny with Sprigatito at her side rush to Ash at blazing speed only for her to trip herself and fall forward. In Penny's vision, we see the princely Ash once more and his blazing steed Rapidash (actually Pikachu), the squire Nemona with her knights Pawmi and Fuecoco and Arven as a pheasant and his Sneasel as a jester.
"You alright Penny?" Prince Ash says in a princely voice before Penny blinks twice to get her vision back to normal and Penny accepts Ash's hand to get her up and blushes, "Thanks." Penny says to which Ash smiles, "No problem, you seem to be in a rush for something and Sprigatito seems to be up and moving for only being a couple days old." Ash said to Penny who nods.
"Yep, and even Sprigatito here learned a new trick." Penny says as she gets out her string toy for Sprigatito and begins to move it up and down, Sprigatito notices this and proceeds to hop up and down trying to catch and the gang look on in cuteness over Sprigatito's actions, So cute. they all thought to themselves before Penny picks up her Sprigtito and holds her in her arms.
"Actually, I'm here for Ash today, I need to talk to him about something important." Penny says to Ash who nods, "Alright then. Nemona, keep practicing by yourself and Arven, make sure you take notes." Ash said as he went off with Penny. "On it!" both trainers say as he left and then Dean and Sarah walk in with Dean having a more disappointed expression.
"Ah man, I was hoping to battle with Ash." Dean said disappointingly as Sarah pats him on the shoulder, "Yeah, me too." Sarah said calmly but also disappointed.
"I wonder where he's going?" Nemona asks to which Arven shrugs, "Who knows, maybe he's going on a date with Penny?" Arven says as Jacq and Dendra walk in with Jacq reminiscing about love, "Ahh love, I remember my first love was a cup of coffee." Jacq said sipping his coffee and Dendra went next excitedly, "And I date a nurse."
"Is it nurse Mi-" Dean didn't finish as Arven went next, "I tried to confess my first love in kindergarten, it didn't go well." everything went silent until Nemona spoke up. "Want to battle?" everyone looks to each other and nods. "Yeah sure." everyone said in agreement.
We see Ash and Penny walking down the stairs with Pikachu helping Sprigatito get used to the stairs slow and easy while Penny thinks to herself about what she wants to say, Ok Penny, this is it, I just need to ask Ash for his hand in marriage- Wait no, I mean I need to ask him about taking care of Team Star and their bosses. I can't get nervous about this Penny thought to herself as they continued walking down the stairs and Penny heavily breathed and looked to Ash.
"Alright Ash, the reason I brought you out here is that I need your help in-" Penny didn't finish as Clavell enthusiastically said behind them, "Oh hello Master Penny, Master Ash. Are you guys going for picnic together?" which causes Penny to blush while Ash looks at Clavell obliviously, "Mr. Clavell, it's nothing like that, we're hanging out as friends and nothing more!" Penny said blushing furiously but Clavell chuckles.
"I only kid, but I am glad you're participating in class again Master Penny." Clavell said encouragingly, "Hey Mr. Clavell, are you out for a walk as well?" Ash says to the headmaster who shakes his head. "Kind of, I'm buying ingredients for my spinach dip for bingo, and I need to make a first impression and I'm also trying to find respectable drip to wear." Clavell says as everyone around him groaned for that use of slang.
"But I should probably let you continue your adventure, stay safe now." Clavell said as he walked by them, as Ash waved goodbye, and the duo continued forward into town and Penny sighs once more. "You know, it's a beautiful day out. Maybe we should have a picnic today." Ash says which causes Penny to blush once more, Oh Ash, you and me on a picnic, that's unexpected. Ok maybe we can go on a date. Penny thought happily until Ash continued, "Yeah, with Arven and Nemona with us." the wording caused Penny to stare with a deadpan expression.
Ok, maybe not right now. Penny thought to herself disappointingly, they continued to walk along until they heard some voices in the distance. "You hear that?" Ash asks the girl who nods, "Yeah, it's coming from over there. Let's check it out." Penny said as they went over there.
"Hey hey hey, join the Team Segin base of Team Star and listen to our lovely leader's lecture on safety and rules." A male Team Star member (from chapter 1) says holding up a poster to someone to which a female grunt (also from chapter 1 and who was putting posters on a wall) looks back at him, "You do know you're talking to a Smoliv right?" the female grunt says as the male grunt looks down to see Smoliv nervously crying for help and that's when Ash and Penny show up to see what the duo are up to with Penny standing behind Ash.
"Team Star, causing trouble again!?" Ash says angrily which catches the attention of the duo, "Oh my goodness! The champion from the first day and the cute girl from before, today's our lucky day eh Jenni-" but the boy didn't finish as he was punched in the arm by Jennifier surprising both Ash, Penny and their Pokemon who look on with surprise. "You don't think I'm cute Brian!?" Jennifer said angrily, "Of course I think you're cute! Everyone's cute in their own way including those two." Brian said defensively.
"Well don't you think that's flirting when you say everyone's cute?" Jennifer said angrily, "Didn't think about that but you still didn't need to punch me in the face. Wait, do you want to go on a date with me?" Brian said surprised to which Jennifer blushes, "Of course... Not dummy! You seem to be more focused on other people than me and well-" Jennifer continued talking while Ash and Penny looked on rather dumbfounded at the scene.
"I think we should leave." Ash suggested still with a dumbfounded expression while Penny nods also with a dumbfounded expression.
"Yeah, I agree." Penny said in agreement as both try to sneakily get by the arguing 'couple' until they turned their heads towards the fleeing duo, "And where do you think you're going!?" both TS members say as they get back up and ready to battle. "You're not going anywhere, our boss at Segin base near Cascaraffa really wants to meet you, the champion and we really want you to join us, girly." Jennifer said causing Penny to think for herself for a moment.
Segin!? Wait a second, that's the base where Giacomo is at. He is a huge fan of Ash, but I won't let him. At least they were dumb enough to reveal his location Penny thought to herself as she grabbed her Pokeball but Sprigatito jumped into battle causing her to panic and pick her up, "Sorry Sprigatito, it's too early for you to be battling but you'll battle soon." Penny said assumingly as Sprigatito looked down.
"If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get. Quaxly come on out!" Ash says releasing Quaxly but he looks a bit scared Ash goes to reassure him, "Quaxly, everything will be fine. Pikachu and I are still here, and I won't be gone." Ash said encouragingly causing Quaxly to man up and is prepared to fight. Penny nods to herself and grabs her Pokeball once more, "Leafeon prepare to fight!" Penny says releasing her Leafeon who stretches and prepares to fight.
"So, you'll take up resistance? Fine by us. Murkrow come on out!" Brian said releasing Murkrow who squawks its name, "You too Krokorok!" Jennifer said releasing her Krokorok who is ready to fight.
Ash smirks and is prepared to fight, "Alright Penny, I'll take care of Murkrow, you take care of Krokorok." Ash said causing Penny to nod, "Right!" Penny said with confidence but deep down, she was kind of nervous. "Ash, this is kind of my first battle with a trainer, what are some suggestions when it comes to battles?" Penny said as Ash thought for a moment before whispering to Penny's ear.
"For newcomers, I suggest staying calm and collected and focus on a mixture of attack and evasion so you're not too focused on just attacking the target and to reduce much damage as possible." Ash said whispering to Penny to make sure Team Star doesn't hear their plans and Penny nods with confidence.
"Alright Quaxly, use Work Up!" Ash says as Quaxly tries to flex but before he could do so, Brian calls out to his Murkrow, "Taunt!" causing Murkrow to flap its wings and smirk causing Quaxly to be angry and unable to Work Up.
"What the-" Ash said surprised, "That was Prankster, an ability that allows for status moves to go first, you see the history behind it is quite simple. A long time ago-" Brian kept talking and Ash and Quaxly looked at each other dumbfounded but shrugged. "Aqua Cutter?" Ash said unsure at that point and Quaxly created a watery blade from his right foot and jumped at Murkrow to slash him off guard sending Murkrow back a bit and Brian back in focus.
"There's a lesson here Brian, don't just reveal your abilities and have a history lesson otherwise your toast." Ash said giving out advice, "Yeah he's kind of right/Kroko." both Jennifer and Krokorok say, "Stay out of it!/Krow!" Brian and Murkrow say as they got back to their battle.
"Krokorok use Crunch!" Jennifer says as Krokorok's jaws glowed and rushed at Leafeon, "Leafeon jump back!" Penny says as Leafeon jumped back to avoid Krokorok's jaws as Krokorok almost trips and Penny sees her moment. "Leafeon Tera Blast let's go!" Penny said to her Leafeon as Leafeon created a beam of white energy to send Krokorok back a bit. Ash looks impressed over that move, "What was that?" Ash asks to which Penny looks to her friend, "That is Tera Blast, it's a move any Pokemon can learn and allows for that Pokemon to create a blast of energy towards the opponent. It becomes a different type when in Terastalization depending on what Tera type they are." Penny says impressing Ash.
"Alright Murkrow use Acrobatics!" Brian said to his Murkrow as its body glowed blue and began maneuvering in the air at a fast rate towards Quaxly who began to step side to side as if he was dancing which Ash takes note of, It seems like he's improving his evasion by dancing, I should probably bring over Hawlucha and have him and I practice on Quaxly's dancing, but I'll think about it. Ash thought to himself before giving a command, "Quaxly dodge it!" Ash said as Quaxly twirled to his left dodging the attack and causing Murkrow to crash all while dancing.
"Oh no-" Brian said shocked but both Quaxly and Ash smirked, "Aqua Cutter!" Ash said causing Quaxly's leg to form a watery blade and hitting Murkrow knocking it out. We see Krokorok and Leafeon out of breath but still had the motivation to keep going, "Krokorok Fire Fang!" Jennifer said as Krokorok's fangs glowed a fiery red and rushed towards Leafeon, "Leaf Blade!" Penny said as Leafeon's tail glowed green and rushed towards Krokorok at blazing speed to the point that Krokorok's attack didn't land and was knocked out.
"We did it!" Penny said happily as she high fived. Ash while the TS duo looked on shocked, "Ummmmm, we better get going!" Jennifer said as she and Brian returned their Pokemon and quickly ran off. Ash looked to Penny more happily, "And this was your first battle?" Ash said to Penny who blushes. "Against a trainer yes, I'm not honestly good at battling to be honest." Penny said blushing.
"What're you talking about? You battled Team Rocket with grace and skill, and you battled that Krokorok like it was nothing!" Ash said encouragingly causing Penny to smile, "I guess it was." Penny said smiling softly as Sprigatito got jealous and started to pout and she proceeded to pat Penny angerly on her face but due to her tiny paws, they felt like pillows causing Penny to laugh. "Hahaha, ok Sprigatito, I'll let you battle next time, I'm sorry hahaha." Penny said as Sprigatito stood on Penny's shoulder pouting and looking away.
Nearby, Team Rocket were near a corner watching the battle play out and got very interested in who Team Star were. "Team Star eh. Meowth, James, you got any info on those star twerps?" Jessie asks as Meowth looked at the base Segin posters and James looked on Rotom Phone and found something.
"Ahaha, here we are! Team Star is an organization of students that causes trouble for everyone by abuse or bullying and forcing others to join their group." James informs the group who look to be interested, "So like us?" Meowth says but Jessie shakes her head, "No way we have more dignity than those brats, we steal Pokemon for world domination." Jessie tells them as the TS duo from earlier walks by which gives Jessie an idea.
"Say you two, how good are you at manipulation?" Jessie asks the group with a smirk which Meowth notices her plan and smirks as well.
"Tenfold!" Meowth said.
The TS duo walk away disappointed at their lost with Brian taking it pretty personally, "Dang it, we lost against that champion again and boss will be most disappointed by our lack of Ash." Brian said frustratingly, "Well to be fair, we were doomed the second we faced the champion and champions aren't easy that's for sure." Jennifier said accepting reality as they continued to walk until a disguised Meowth and James walks up to them for 'help'.
"Excuse us, we need your help." Not-Meowth said shaking as Brian leaned down to listen to his worries, "What seems to be the problem miss?" Brian asks them. "I'm a dude. But Yes, our Sprigatito has seemed to have been missing for the past couple of days and we can't find her." Meowth said rather scared for his 'lost' Pokemon.
Both of them thought for a moment and remembered seeing Sprigatito earlier with Penny, "I think we've seen one earlier when we were battling with some trainers." Jennifer says remembering the bi-colored hair with her Sprigatito clearly and James nods, "Yes, that's her! I hear your part of the luxurious Team Star and if you decide to get them back, we'll join your organization of misfits." James said happily with a fake Galarian accent (think of it as a British accent).
Brian clarified, "Actually we're an organization of heroes that protects students from evildoers, but we'll help you, mainly because we need new members." they then both leave to handle the scenario, but the disguised duo stops them again, "Wait just a moment, we need you to do another thing as well." James said giving the two Team Star members two circular tracking devices.
"We have bad memorization, so we need you to put on these tracking devices on that Sprigatito and that other trainer's Pikachu, you see and we'll track you through these remotes." Meowth said and although the TS duo got suspicious, they nodded and got to work which gets a secret snicker out of the TR duo. "Suckers." both say quietly as Jessie goes out of the alleyway to congratulate the two, "And now, for the waiting game." Jessie says snickering.
We see Ash and Penny conversing with one another with Pikachu, Quaxly, Sprigatito and Leafeon walking by and playing when a Green Squawkabilly hops on over to greet them and Pikachu and Sprigatito go to greet the Squawkabilly, "Oh, hello Squawkabilly." Penny said who was about to pat Squawkabilly but it flapped its wings fastly creating an upward air current which was powerful enough to have everyone pushed away slightly.
"That's Tailwind! Maybe it's happy or something?" Ash assumes as a small, yet fast shadowy figure placed two devices onto Sprigatito and Pikachu who begin to charge up their power upon seeing the culprit, a Pawniard who placed the devices on there and Squawkabilly stops flapping. The Team Star duo from before step out of a nearby corner in the distance to confront the Champion and Penny.
"Team Star!? you again!? Ash said as Brian snickered, "We really want you to come with us and we'll do so by force if we have to." Brian said ready for battle. "Sprigatito there is coming with us also. I hear someone is missing their Sprigatito." Jennifer said making Penny surprised and angry, "There must an error to all this because I didn't take Sprigatito from anyone, she hatched from an egg." Penny informed the duo who started questioning what happened earlier, but they decided not to question it any further.
The trainer's Pokemon are prepared for battle against Team Star until Pikachu and Sprigatito felt a tingling sensation and were pulled away by a strong magnetic force to a metal plate like object held by James as the Pokemon cried out their names, even Team Star looked shocked. Clavell was hiding in the corner shocked at the outcome.
"Pikachu/Sprigatito!" Both Ash and Penny yelled out to their Pokemon in worry as even both Jennifier and Brian questioned their deal with them, "What are you doing!?" Brian said shocked, "Like I said, we needed to come to you, and we did." James informs the group, but Jennifer refutes this. "By magnetism!? You're hurting them!" but Meowth and James shake their heads.
"We're not hurting them, isn't that right Pikachu?" James asks the Pokemon who begins to charge up his electricity, "Pikachu no! You'll shock Sprigatito!" Ash tells him as he stops his electricity reluctantly. "And what about our deal!?" Brian said as both members laugh it off entirely making both TS members angry and that's when Jessie comes out of an alleyway, "Did you think we really agree with a group of bad guys? You claim to help people and you just did by helping us 'heroes' out. And now we'll take our leave. ta tah." Jessie says mockingly but Quaxly covered itself in a watery veil ready to fight.
"Quaxly use Aqua Jet!" Ash commanded and Peny decided to do the same, "Leafeon use X-Scissor!" Leafeon nodded and its tail glowed with an X appearing on the tip of the tail and rushed towards TR, but they smirked and threw their Pokeballs. "Lechonk use Mud Shot!" "And Klawf use Mud Slap!" both Jessie and James say as their Pokemon came out and did their exact moves with Lechonk launching a ball of mud towards Quaxly's face causing him to miss and Klawf creates a mud-based whip to slap Leafeon away.
"Quaxly!/Leafeon!" both Ash and Penny say as they go to their Pokemon and check on them while Team Rocket return their Pokemon and skedaddle off with Team Star too shocked to do anything about it "Pikachu/Sprigatito." both trainers say devastated with Sprigatito unknowingly leaving behind a scent, Clavell as well looked to be shocked as well.
We see Clavell gritting his teeth at the scenario, Team Rocket, I knew they would be up to no good but manipulating students!? I know I may hate Team Star, but no student deserves to go through this sort of thing. I can confront them now, but they'll make a run for it but at the same time, I felt like some wimp. I'm supposed to help my students and feel fearless yet, I felt like a wimp, time to change that. Clavell thought to himself as he grabbed a Friend ball and looked at it, "Listen up Ceruledge, I need you to go on recon and survey on Team Rocket and report back on where they're going. Find their final location and free both Pokemon, understood?" Clavell asks his Ceruledge which causes the Pokeball to shake in approval and was released and went on the rooftops to search for them. Meanwhile, Clavell looks at a nearby clothing store that sold stuff from the 80's
"Good, now time for me to wear something that I never thought I would wear since the 80's." Clavell said as he got to work at the nearby clothing store.
Ash finishes wiping the mud off of Quaxly's face and Penny's Leafeon gets up, Ash sees the Team Star duo looking at each other rather ashamed of their actions which is something Ash didn't expect but still remained cautious. "Maybe we should leave." Brian said but Jennifer refutes this, "No, we caused this mess and we're going to fix it. Team Star are supposed to help people not help bad guys like them." Jennifer said as they both nod and breathed in and out before they and their Pokemon faced Ash and Penny who looked skeptical before they bowed to apologize (including their Pokemon).
"We're so sorry for what we've done to you!" Jennifer said apologetically which seems to surprise both Ash and Penny, "Wait you're sorry?" Penny said shocked as both TS members nodded. "You don't have to believe us if you don't want to, but we want to make it up to you by finding your Pokemon." Brian said apologetically as well.
"But why would you help us? Aren't you guys abu-" Ash didn't finish that sentence as Brian intervenes, "Of course they would call us that, the public thinks we just hurt others all because of that 'one' incident last year thinking all members are just as evil when everyone is different and have their own goals and personalities in mind. Do you think that all Team Star members are just abusers in some way? Sure, maybe we do annoy people but we want them to know how much we and other people suffer from bullying and how it should be addressed compared to the school." Brian continued.
They were all silent towards the subject matter but even Penny looks to be more silent on the issue and Jennifer decided to speak up, "I'm sure you've heard the orders 'find members of Team Star and force them to disband or expelled!' But we have our reasons for joining, my brother is the only person I have left in my life, and I don't want him to return to 'that' place we used to call home. I joined Team Star to keep him safe, so people can fear me. Even if I have to eat small morsels of food, I want him to grow up without dealing with these hardships and I want him to go to school and have a good home no matter how long it takes for me to earn that home."
Brian spoke up next, "Same with me, my grandma is the only person left in my life and I want to make her proud by getting a degree but... Bullies get in the way and sometimes I return home beaten with bruises and yet I lie to make her not worry about me. I joined Team Star to make sure bullies stay away from me and yet, I feel like it's hopeless at times." Brian took off his sunglasses to reveal a bruised eye.
Ash and Penny looked on surprised by this outcome. What they're doing is understandable, but they'll only get themselves hurt and expelled. I need to talk to Ash about this afterwards. Penny thought to herself, "I had no idea." Ash says but Jennifer shakes her head.
"I know you have more questions, but we need to rescue your Pokemon from those goons, right? Let's go search for Pikachu and Sprigatito!" Jennifer said but Brian jumps in, "How are we supposed to find them?" which is when Penny's Leafeon's tail started to twitch, and smelled something interesting which the gang took note of.
"Leafeon starts to twitch her tail whenever something Wishiwashi starts to cloud her scent and I think it's to Sprigatito's location." Penny said starting to realize the idea at hand to follow Leafeon, "Well what are we waiting for!? Let's go follow Leafeon!" Ash said with a new sense of determination as everyone agreed and Leafeon led the way. Clavell was in a corner nearby wearing a blazer and Naranja school shorts and holding a wig pondering upon himself at the story's TS have told to Ash and Penny and starts to feel bad in a way.
Is there more to Team Star that I don't know about? My goal is to know more about my students for who they are so are their members going through some stuff I'm not aware of? I'll need to think to myself after this but I'm not going to get my students hurt, Team Star or not. Let's get to work! Clavell thought to himself as he put the wig on and got to work.
We see the 4 and their Pokemon following the scent throughout the city until they reached the public square which is where Leafeon starts to have issues picking up the scent which Penny takes note of, "Leafeon? What's wrong girl?" Penny asks her Leafeon who has issues picking up the scent due to the amount of people in the square. "Maybe it has something to do with the amount of people here, I say we wander around a bit until we pick up something." Ash suggested which everyone agreed to and started to move around searching for the scent.
They all began to move around the scent which is when Brian and Jennifer noticed a little boy trying to reach for his balloon which was stuck on a cove, the boy was using a nearby chair to reach for the balloon, but it looked like it was going to fall over which is when both TS members took action. The chair began to fall over, and the boy was about to fall when Jennifer grabs him, and Brian grabs the balloon. Jennifer put the boy down and Brian gave him his balloon back.
"Kid you got to be careful when doing this stuff, next time, ask someone to help you." Jennifer said worryingly and the boy nods, "You guys look like dorks but you Star guys don't all seem bad so thank you." the boy said as he went off and Jennifer and Brian smiled warmly. Ash and Penny go to the two, "You really knew what to do in that scenario did you?" Ash said warmly, "Well, when you have a little brother like me and the fact that I'm his sole caretaker, you learn a mixture of mother-like and father-like tactics from time to time." Jennifer said as she stretched but the 3 of them started to hear some people whispering amongst themselves.
"Look it's Team Star again and are they harassing the champion of the world?"
"I bet they only saved that kid to get him to join Team Star, didn't they?"
"With all the posters and paint around, maybe we should force them to clean it up."
"Those brats."
All those words were making the TS duo uncomfortable and Ash and Quaxly looked to be angry by these words and try to confront them, but Brian puts a hand on his shoulder and shakes his head. "It's not worth it Ash, even with your status, there's still others that are like this." Brian said causing Ash's expression to change from anger to worry.
"But those words? Don't they hurt?" Ash said, "They do but I guess that's to be expected following that incident a year ago." Jennifer said sadly causing Ash to perk up towards the incident.
"Just what is this incident that caused you to be hated?" Ash said curious to know causing both TS members to sigh and nod with Jennifer explaining.
"Alright we'll tell you. A year and a half ago, Team Star was formed on the basis of protecting students and others alike from bullies. We were led by 5 bosses those being Giacomo, Atticus, Mela, Eri and Ortega with us having a 6th boss and the true mastermind behind Team Star Cassiopeia but no one including our bosses know who they are. We were only seen as minor nuisances to Mesagoza until the Starry sky incident, a group of students from Uva academy were seen picking on our students and our bosses gave us the order to protect the students and the Uva student's numbers were large, and we battled them to protect Naranja. We expected to be praised for our actions for protecting the students and driving off those bullies, but the public hated us for supposedly hurting the students while the Uva students were never mentioned to anyone."
This information causes Ash to be shocked before Brian decides to take over, "Despite witnesses and our information, Uva denied these claims and said their students never left the academy and our bosses refuse to tell us anything for own safety as if they know something and only told us that we're spreading out throughout Paldea and we did but Cassiopeia was never heard from again. The battle was so controversial that it caused the previous chairman, previous headmaster and the school staff to resign for failing to protect the students from us despite the actual truth being there."
This is what really shocked Ash to the core, "So all the staff, the Top champion and the headmaster are-" which is when Penny chimed in, "New except Clavell, Saguaro, Jacq, our janitor, Officer Jenny and our theater teacher Cycus who all stayed to keep things in order until new staff could be found, while our former chairman and Top Champion Ribes Herschel was so ashamed of himself that he stepped down and asked his protege from Galar to come take over for him while he traveled the world to reflect on his actions and you may know her best as Geeta or La Primera."
Ash took this information in all seriousness and was trying to comprehend the scenario at hand, "So the whole battle caused Team Star to be blamed for all this while valuable information was covered up like that. How could they do that?" Ash said astounded which is when Leafeon got back to Penny with her tail all twitchy again which everyone took notice of.
"You found something?" Penny said to her Leafeon who jumped to signal the answer which was yes causing Nemona to nod, "Right, we'll worry about this conversation later. Let's go search for our Pokemon Ash!" Penny said causing Ash to awaken from his phase and agree with all 4 following Leafeon.
Clavell was in a corner again processing the information once more, Oh yeah, this incident is when I was a vice-headmaster with Jacq as my assistant. Everyone left because of the Starry Skies, and I never saw Herschel nor Harrington again but if some valuable information has been kept from everyone and Uva are somehow involved with this incident- No, I'll ponder upon it later. Clavell thought to himself as he left the corner and went to find the group.
The group wandered around until Ash accidentally bumped into a 'unique' individual, he was wearing a light brown pompadour with a black blazer and Naranja associated shorts and definitely doesn't look like Clavell. Penny is just looking casually; Brian looks intrigued at the pompadour and Jennifer being dumbfounded and shocked as if she saw a ghost. Ash rubs his head, and the man offers a helping hand.
"Sorry about that my Rockruff bro, I didn't see where I was going bro." Not-Clavell said with an Elvis-like impression, "No problem, was there something you were searching for?" Ash asks to which the guy nods. "Actually, I'm looking for those villainous fellas, I saw them walk past this alleyway carrying some Pikachu and Sprigatito and I figured I could help." the man said.
"Look, we appreciate the help, but we don't want citizens getting hurt and you appear to have no Pokemon on you." Penny said but the man shakes his head, "Do I now?" the man said as he snaps his fingers, the snap was immediately followed by a sound of crackling flames as the group look up to the rooftop to see a purple humanoid figure with swords for hands and purple armor jump down next to the man. The TS duo are horrified as they remembered seeing one on Ash's first day here, Penny and Ash look more impressed on the other hand.
"This is my partner Ceruledge and you can call me Clive my fellow Growlithe's." Clive said as Ash got out his dex and scanned it.
Ceruledge, the Fire Blades Pokemon, Fire/Ghost type and one of the evolved forms of Charcadet. This Pokemon evolved from Charcadet when an armor containing malicious souls consumed Charcadet's body, it maliciously uses its blades to cut enimies to bits.
The information causes everyone including Quaxly and Leafeon to shiver but Clive chuckles, "Not to worry my cool Glameow's, my Ceruledge is completely friendly." Clive said as Ceruledge bows to Ash causing everyone to be at ease. "Ceru." it said.
"Now where was I, right. Ceruledge, do you know where they're going?" Clive asks to which Ceruledge points to the gate leading into the Vast Beyond and Clive nods, "Right, they're heading towards the Vast Beyond. Ceruledge, I need you to go to the Vast Beyond and search for them. Find them and rescue Pikachu and Sprigatito at all costs and prevent those goons from escaping." Clive commanded as Ceruledge nodded and ran towards the gate.
"Well, if they're heading towards the gate, so are we. C'mon guys!" Ash said as everyone nodded and went off to the east gate. Jennifer began wondering to herself about the older 'student', Why is the headmaster disguised in a very obvious way, are these guys following a cliche or something? Jennifer thought to herself as she went along with them.
We see the TR trio making it to a nearby cliff area where they seemed to have gotten away from the group and where no one could find them, "It seems like we got away from those twerps." Jessie said huffing while Pikachu struggles to escape out of this mechanical machination with Sprigatito looking on in worry.
"Aww, what's the matter? Purrloin got your tongue?" Meowth said smirking as he and Jessie mocking them, but James looks petrified for some reason which Jessie takes note of, "Say what's wrong with you? come celebrate." Jessie says until she looked to where James was looking at to see Ceruledge standing from a nearby corner releasing it's malicious energy off which causes the group to freeze up.
"Who's that Pokemon?" Meowth says horrified as Wobbuffet came out of his ball to cry out his name scared and TR's phone scans the Pokemon.
"Ceruledge, Fire/Ghost type. He's pretty hot." the Rotom phone says with a valley girl voice and also blushing causing the 4 to look at the phone suspiciously.
"You have a type?" James said astounded, "Yeah, pure Electric in phone form." the phone snidely remarks, "That's not what I meant!" James said annoyed as Ceruledge started to walk slowly towards the petrified group. The Ceruledge then began to sink slowly into the ground before it hopped into the ground and used Shadow Sneak to phase the group fast and causing them to shiver up in fear. Pikachu and Sprigatito are horrified, and Pikachu began to charge up his electricity to defend Sprigatito but Ceruledge held it's blade up to stop Pikachu before extending its other blade to destroy the machine and let them free.
"Pika!/Sprig!" Pikachu and Sprigatito said their names with happiness and Ceruledge nods happily as they go by a petrified Team Rocket who awaken from their horror with Ash and co arriving on schedule causing Pikachu and Sprigatito to go to their respective trainers' arms.
"Pikachu/Sprigatito!" both trainers said happily as they hug their Pokemon with extreme joy, they put them down for Ash to hug Pikachu and Leafeon to nudge Sprigatito before facing Team Rocket with fury as TR grab their Pokeballs. "Team Rocket, you're not getting away this time!" Ash said but Penny chimed in, "They probably will." This causes everyone including their Pokemon and Team Rocket to go silent for a minute before they moved on.
"Brian, Jennifer, you've been a great help to use but leave the rest to us!" Ash says as both nods and Clive chimes in, "I'll join you; you'll see that I'm stronger than I look."
"Klawf and Grafaiai, come on out and use X-Scissor and Poison Jab on Pikachu and Ceruledge respectively!" James said as he threw his Pokeballs to release Grafaiai who's fingers glowed purple and rushed at Ceruledge while Klawf came out and its arms glowed and rushed at Pikachu. Jessie proceeded to do the same thing with her Lechonk, "My fashionista, come on out and use Headbutt on Leafeon!" Jessie said releasing Lechonk for battle who before it could rush at Leafeon, Sprigatito jumped in and her fur on her back turns black and punches Lechonk with her paws before Lechonk could attack sending it back a bit.
Penny and Leafeon looks astounded, "Sprigatito, what happened to your fur and that was Sucker Punch." Penny said surprised to which Brian chimes in, "I believe that your Sprigatito has the ability Protean which allows it to change type depending on the move it has and gains a boost." Penny smirks. "Good to know, Leafeon use Leaf Blade!" Penny said as Leafeon rushes at Lechonk who was rushing at the group again after having been suckered punch and rushed at Leafeon but couldn't land a hit as Leafeon's leaf tail hit the Pokemon and sent Lechonk flying towards Jessie who holds onto her Pokemon for dear life.
"Lechonk are you ok!?" Jessie asks her beloved partner who faints in Jessie's arms causing Jessie to look angrily at Penny, "You'll pay!" Jessie says to Penny who smirks.
"Pikachu use Electro Web!" Ash says as Pikachu releases an electrical web that trapped Klawf who couldn't move and was trapped as Ash called out another command, "Quaxly use Aqua Cutter on the legs!" Ash said as Quaxly rushed at Klawf's legs tripping them causing Klawf to fall on its back. Clive pushes his glasses up and coldly stares at the rushing Grafaiai, "Bitter Blade." Clive said lowly as Ceruledge's blades start to extend and radiate a malicious heat as Ceruledge walks slowly towards Grafaiai and passes by it.
James and Grafaiai look confuse until Ceruledge's blades shrink back to normal size and an energy slash appears from Grafaiai striking it and causing it to faint and a energy to appear from Grafaiai going to Ceruledge appearing healthy from that attack. "Klawf, Grafaiai!" James said worringly but Grafaiai gets back up and ready to fight. "Now that's the spirit! Use Metronome!" James said as Grafaiai wagged its fingers and came up with a move. Grafaiai's feet start to glow and stomp to create a wave effect from the ground.
"That's Bulldoze! Everyone brace for impact!" Clive said as everyone struggled to stay on the ground including Team Rocket themselves, Brian however starts to trip back and didn't notice the cliff was right behind him, Ash notices and goes to him. Brian almost falls but Ash grabs onto Brian's hand and pulls him forward to safety but Ash himself falls in Brian's place causing everyone (including Team Rocket) to be shocked and mortified.
"ASH!" they all said horrified as Clive immediately throws out his Pokeball, "Braviary catch Ash now!" Clive said immediately as Braviary flies out to catch Ash but before he could do so, a dark colored Arcanine with a hooded man riding it hops on some rocks and catches Ash in the man's arms and immediately rushed back to the group letting Ash down and the group goes to him with Penny, Pikachu and Quaxly hugging him tight though Quaxly used Wing Attack to slap him in the face out of worry.
"You damn dummy, don't do that again!" Penny said holding him tight, "You gave me a heart attack, don't, just don't do that ever!" Clive said horrified. "Sorry about that, as a champion, a person comes first!" Ash replied.
The mysterious man smiled and his Arcanine licked Ash's face, "Haha stop." "Sorry about that young Ash, my girl here loves to be a bit clingy, but you do have the heart of a true champion my boy. Let me handle this for you." The hooded man said with a deep baritone voice referring to the TR trio as he gets off his Arcanine and brings out a Tera stone which starts to glow.
"Arcanine, let's go!" the man said as he threw his Tera Stone at Arcanine who began to crystalize and have a fire chandelier hat and TR start to prepare themselves as James calls out a command. "Grafaiai Poison Jab!" James said as his Grafaiai's fingers started to glow and rush at Arcanine, "Raging Fury!" the man said as Arcanine covered itself with flames and rushed at Grafaiai and sent it flying towards TR who began to fly.
"Well, that's a pretty cool looking Arcanine! Oh, Growlie how I miss you buddy!" James said weeping comedically.
"Don't start weeping now, I'm allergic." Jessie said snarky.
"I thought you were allergic to parsnips." Meowth said casually,
"We're blasting off again!" all 3 say.
The Terastalization wore off and the man's hood was off with Arcanine's full appearance being shown. The Arcanine was dark red with dark gray rock like fur covering its head while the man had dark blue hair with a short beard and yellow eyes. The Arcanine's appearance seem to intrigue Ash but the man seemed to intrigue everyone. Ash grabbed his dex and scanned the Arcanine.
Arcanine (Hisuian form), the Legendary Pokemon, Fire/Rock type. A Hisuian form of Arcanine from long ago, this Pokemon still has its heroic nature like its present-day counterpart helping save drowning people and Pokemon but it likes to trick opponents by faintly dancing around them tricking opponents into thinking it's weak.
"Say Pikachu, Quaxly. It's another Hisuian form." Ash says the two of them astonished but Clive was more shocked at the man in particular, "You-you can't be? Ribes Hershel." Clive said now getting the attention of Ash as the man gets back on his Arcanine.
"Oh, hey-" the man stops himself when Clive puts a shush signal on and the man nods, "It's my former students, how is Geeta doing by any chance?" Ribes asks the students, "She'd doing great, Ash here is searching for the Elite Four to have a full 6 v 6." Penny says as Ribes looks to Ash. "Is that so, the Top Champion against the World Champion shall be an interesting watch for sure haha." Ribes says happily as he trots off with his Arcanine but Clive stops him.
"Wait a sec, when are you coming back to Mesagoza? Don't you want to see everyone, your children?" Clive asks causing Ribes to look down somberly, "I can't, I'm not ready to face all of them just yet. I need to find the truth and find myself before I can really return. I'm sorry, but don't tell them of my return." Ribes said as he goes off but not before telling Ash, "Ash, there's a lot of unpredictability up ahead in your life in Paldea, you may not like the truth waiting for you here so be prepared." Ribes said as he goes off to places unknown.
"Ribes..." Clive said sadly.
It was around sunset when we see the gang plus Pikachu and Quaxly (sans Ash and Clive) waiting at the Mesagoza Pokemon center waiting for Ash who promised them he would be right back with something while Clive had to go to a meeting leaving just the three of them conversing.
"So, are you and Ash a couple?" Jennifer teased causing Penny to blush and shake her hands worryingly, "No no no no no! It's nothing like that!" Penny said blushing furiously with Sprigatito just playing with Pikachu, Quaxly and Leafeon out on the field. Clavell came by to see all the fuss was about causing the TS duo to tense up and sweat nervously.
"Ah good evening you three. Why are you tensing up?" Clavell said jokingly but gets straight to the point, "I heard the commotion in town and I'm glad you realized that mistake of teaming up with Team Rocket and redeeming yourselves and I'll excuse you from trouble as long as you clean up all posters by tomoorow by 7 PM however, I heard your issues from Ash." Clavell said causing the duo to tense up and Brian to speak up.
"How did you know?" Brian said worryingly, "I encountered him over the issues that happened today and as your school headmaster, I have to know any issues that pop up so I asked Ash everything he could including you guys and I'll say this. I may not look like I can be of much help to you, and I may look scary, but I can promise you this, I'll help you out no matter if you're Team Star or not, you just need to speak up. Brian, I'll confront your bullies about this issue, but you need to speak up and you should talk to your grandma about this and Jennifer, if don't eat, you'll die. You have to take care of yourself and I'm sure Saguaro's orphanage or Mesagoza foster care can help you and your brother but that's only if you yourself can do this and speak up." Clavell said warmly causing both of them to look down and question themselves.
We see Ash and two waiters from a nearby restaurant carrying some plates of food plus some to-go boxes, "And speak of devil, Ash is here with your food now." Clavell said smiling as Penny stood up to go to her Pokemon with Team Star surprised to say the least. "What are you-" Jennifer didn't finish that sentence as Ash spoke up, "You need to eat, you have so much ahead of you. Even if life seems hopeless and lost, you two have your close releatives and your Pokemon by your side and as a champion, I need to make sure you're safe even if you might be associated with an evil organization, I do know there is heart within one of you. If I were to lose somebody as a World Champion, I wouldn't know what I would do with myself." Ash said unsure.
Oh Ash. Penny thought as both TS members began to look on speechless, Ash gave two to-go boxes to Penny, one for herself and the other for her Pokemon. Ash is the same deal while Ash had one for Clive as thanks, but Clavell said he'll 'give' it to him, Ash also had two more for Brian's grandma and Jennifer's brother. Brian and Jennifer began to eat the food and while Brian enjoys his food, Jennifer starts to tear up which Penny takes note of and reaches out to Jennifer. "Jennifer? Are you ok?" Penny asks causing Jennifer to look at Penny with full-on tears.
"Oh, I'm fine, it's just too spicy that's all." Jennifer said with everyone knowing she's lying but go along with it as Jennifer cries to herself over the kindness of Ash because even if they're of different worlds, Ash won't hesitate to help anyone.
Clavell decides to head back to his office and get to work on 'something' while Jennifer and Brian decided to head home and thank Ash for everything and apologizes for their actions. They agreed to think about the choices Clavell gave them and agreed to stop harassing Mesagoza residents though Brian mentions that their boss is still interested in seeing them and that he should prepare to see him as the boss is a major fan of Ash and they leave.
Both Ash and Penny look at the sunset from the top of the school stairs with Pikachu, Quaxly, Leafeon and Sprigatito as they marvel at the beautiful sunset, "It's gorgeous." Penny said as the sun went down. Ash then started to kneel down for something causing Penny to blush furiously.
Wait he's kneeling, he's going to propose? We only met each other for a week but maybe it's like those fairy tales? Alright Ash I accept your proposal please just pop the question! Penny thought to herself only to find out he was tying his shoe causing her to be disappointed. Oh, another fake out Penny thought to herself once more. But Ash then remembered something and turns to Penny.
"Oh yeah, I just remembered, you had something to ask me when we went on this quest." Ash asked which caused Penny to remember the events that transpired, "Oh yeah! I forgotten about that the whole time and acted like a background character thanks for reminding me!" Penny said surprised by this but breathes.
"Alright, Ash, the reason I brought you out here was to ask for your help in something. I want to take down Team Star." Penny said bluntly causing Ash to be surprised, "You want me to help you bring down Team Star?" Ash said as Penny nods. "Yes, they have a good cause and I get there's more to the Starry Skies incident but if they keep doing this, they'll only get themselves expelled and without any futures and I don't want that to happen so I ask you, when the Treasure Hunt arrives, could you help me take down Team Star?" Penny asks causing Ash to be flabbergasted.
"I-" Ash wasn't sure on what he should say but Penny chimes in, "It's alright if you don't want to but could you think about it?" Penny said which made Ash nod. "I'll definitely think about it." Ash said positive as they head into the school. both Ash and Penny head up the stairs and head through the halls searching for the field as Ash thinks to himself.
Nemona, Arven and Penny, they all asked me for help with their problems. The Gym Challenge, Titans and now Team Star. I've helped various people before but never all at once so am I able to do it? Ash thinks to himself as both trainer's head to the field to see a variety of teachers and students from Nemona, Arven, Dean (who had pie in his face), Sarah (who had her Delphox sleeping on her lap), Jacq and Dendra (holding hands with Miriam) like before but more people showed up during the time both Ash and Penny disappeared, and they all seem to be in a serious discussion.
"Ok, we all agree that Dendra won that last round against Cycus but then she won that round against Tyme am I right?" Nemona asks everyone who nods which is when Arven points to the return of Ash who seems to be smirking. "You wanted to battle, didn't you?" Ash said calmly while Nemona had a cold sweat run down her head.
"Sorry Ash, I was kind of bored." Nemona said but Ash laughs it off, "It's fine but that's 15 laps around the track for you and your Pokemon." Ash said causing Nemona and her Pokemon to salute, "Yes sensei!" Nemona said as they began running their 15 laps around the track and then Ash looks to everyone else.
"Does anyone want to battle me and Penny?" Ash asks causing Penny to blush, Huh me? Well, I guess I could battle and socialize a bit. Penny thought smiling to herself with Sprigatito all fired up. "Sprig? Alright, you can battle but we'll take this slowly. Ash, do you think you can train me so Sprigatito can get stronger too?" Penny asks politely which makes Ash nod.
"Of course, anyone's welcome." Ash said positively as Penny smiles to herself.
You know, maybe I can help all 3 of you. Maybe all together but I won't think about it for now, for tonight, we battle! Ash thought to himself as Quaxly is ready to battle and they all began to have fun.
We see Clavell smiling from his office seeing his students and teachers enjoying themselves for the night but then frowns as he looks to a picture of him, Jacq, Harrington, Geeta and Ribes all happy. Where has all the time gone in our lives? Most importantly, is there some hidden truth to the Starry Skies incident that I don't know about tha is hurting my students and is Uva involved somehow? I never thought I would say this, but it's time for my own Treasure Hunt! Clavell thought to himself.
We see Brian coming home to his house seeing his polite grandmother walk to the doorway to check on his dear grandson as Brian starts to tell the long story of the incident. After Brian was finished, both Brian and his grandmother hug with tears flowing down both of their faces with Brian expressing his apologies for not telling her about his injuries and issues.
Meanwhile, we see Jennifer and her brother reach a foster care facility and Jennifer hugs her brother apologizing for all the mistakes she's caused but her brother doesn't blame her and both cry before they head inside.

As the Team Star duo, Penny and Clavell were sitting there, Penny had something on her mind, the food that Ash bought (he was at the bathroom right now). "You know, I have to wonder how a trainer earns their money?" Penny asks which got everyone wondering.
"Well, the most natural way is through jobs or battles so maybe he earns them through that?" Brian suggested by Clavell chimes in, "Well, as a champion, he actually earns a sort of income through being a World champion and even prize money for becoming one though we don't have that distinction in Paldea due to use having multiple Champions so only the Top Champion can get that income aside from prize money."
Jennifer wonders something, "So how much did he get as a champion, maybe it's not that much?" Jennifer said as Penny grabs her computer from her Eevee bag and looks up his Orange Islands winning and immediately spits out her drink. "He has enough to buy the SS Anne!" Penny said shocked causing everyone else including Clavell to be shocked.
"No way, what about his Alola winnings? According to the 'World Champion Federation', if a region went through their first championship to determine a champion, then they'll be rewarded with a huge cash prize in addition to the one they received becoming a champion." Brian said as Penny then switched to another tab to look at his Alola winnings and was shocked once more.
"His earnings are enough to buy two villas in Sinnoh and Unova respectively!" Penny said causing the group to be shocked once more, "And what about being a World Champion?" Clavell asks now dumbfounded as Penny begins to search once more and her mouth was left agape. "His winnings are enough to buy all 6 academies in Paldea." Penny said causing them all to be shocked once more. "And what about combined?" Brian said not ready for the outcome as Clavell brings out a calculator and combines all earnings and shows the final result to everyone which caused them to resemble the man in 'The Scream'.
"That's enough to buy 2 regions." Penny said exasperated.

Hello everyone and happy one month of publication (which was two weeks ago) so thank you for joining this far. We made it to the end of another long chapter and thankfully, we're near the end of the Introduction arc and after a couple more chapters, we will begin the plot.
Even though this chapter was supposed to be Penny based, it ended up feeling more like Team Star or Clavell chapter but either way, we have all of the companions' goals for the future and the next chapter will focus around Nemona confronted by the representative of Uva academy, Carmine who wishes to drive away Ash from Paldea but Nemona won't let her in what is Nemona's first true battle and Carmine's connection to the previous chairman Ribes Herschel and why she acts so cold.
We also have the introduction of 4 new characters Cycus and Ribes Herschel who are original characters with Cycus being a theater teacher but she focuses on the art of battling and the unique strategies involved in battling (such as countershield for example), Ribes is the previous chairman/Top Champion of Paldea who left because of the Starry Skies incident, and lastly is both Brian and Jennifer and I like the idea of giving a team villain grunt a unique personality and the reason why they did what they did hence Team Star's importance in this chapter.
