Hello one and all to a new chapter of Pokemon SVTA where today, we have our 2nd filler episode where we focus on Ash, Pikachu and Penny deciding to look for the seal of Wo-Chien and the ruins nearby until Ash notices a Tinkatink who wants to get her metal rattle back from a group of bully Pokemon and so Ash decides to help her train, we also get some lore about the ruins and the seal of Wo-Chien.
Since this is a Semi-filler episode (semi as it contains some plot stuff for Ash or other lore while Filler is just unreleated adventures, kind of.) the story is a bit shorter in content but should be intresting to read.
This is also where some major plot stuff happens at the beginning that relate to the main plot but also the debut of what I like to call: The Pokemon Cover Stories. Similar in vain to the One Piece cover stories in the Manga, we get to see other stories outside of Ash focusing on companions, rivals, character of the day, Ash's Pokemon back home/in Alola or any allies through Ash's adventures and see what they've been up to in unconnected fashion so we might get a part 1 of a story for instance but focus on a different character the next, some stories might even connect to the main one if they show back up in Paldea or some are just for fun or expand on the character.
The structure of the Cover Stories may not be perfect as I'm unsure of what to really do for a Cover Story yet so treat this one like it's a first attempt.

Cover Story 1: Hau's Bizarre Adventure part 1:
It's almost been a year since the Manalo conference with Ash winning the tournament and becoming Alola's first Champion, with him going back home, things have certainly changed for a lot of people including Hau. After losing to Ash and experiencing what it's like to lose, Hau, his Decidueye and his grandfather, Hala decided to travel around the other islands with Hau taking on the island challenge as well as Hau learning more about the strategies of Pokemon battling and how he must accept loss at times.
He finished the Island challenge but after that, he wasn't sure what to do due to Alola being much smaller compared to other regions and he's always treated like he's some prince due to him being the grandson of Kahuna Hala, but he only wants to be himself. However, he heard that Ash became a World Champion and got accepted into Paldea's most luxurious schools, Naranja. Inspired by Ash's confidence and him being himself when he went to the Pokemon School, Hau asks his grandpa if he can go to the Pokemon School and Hala tells him that it's a tough task where only the strongest can go to before Hala says he was joking and that he could.
After a week of preparation, Hau got accepted as a student of Kakui's class and although the class was excited for having Hau join them, Kiawe wants to test Hau's skill in battle due to him missing Ash which the class and even Hau understands that Ash was the most important to the class and will try his hardest to be his own person but Kiawe still wants that battle and thus begins Haus's adventure as a student finding his dream.
Not the most perfect Cover Story but I'm still trying to figure things out.
Oh my, we aren't at the academy today, we seem to be in a strange area where the atmosphere is strange, the Pokemon seem to be wandering about, but something seems strange. That Tyranitar and Hydreigon look mechanical from a distance, a Jiggilypuff having rather long hair, a Magneton walking with metal filings and walking rather funny in a way, an Amoonguss with legs!? What is going on here? Either way, we head down to the depths of this area down underground full of crystals and other assorted Pokemon.
We see a large creature known as Koraidon, a Pokemon mentioned by Arven who is the ancestor of Cyclizar, red in color with feathers of varying colors throughout the body with two long string, feather things on its head and was in a fighting stance protecting a group of Pokemon from the rampaging Miraidon. Miraidon is said by Arven to be the descendant of Cyclizar robotic in structure, purple in color with electricity about on its body that look to be angry at Koraidon as they both clash.
"Korai!" Koraidon growled, "Mirai!" Miraidon said coldly as they both clash with Koraidon using Dragon Claw while Miraidon clashed with Acrobatics sending them both back. Koraidon and Miraidon look to be both angry and Koraidon proceeds to open it's string things into wings and jumped and rolled in the air while Miraidon charges itself up and proceeds to do the same thing.
Koraidon's rolling technique resembled a fire wheel while Miraidon's was that of electricity and both roll into each other at full force causing a collision of smoke to appear and Miraidon to be knocked out with Koraidon tired out of their mind. Koraidon proceeds to look up and see the white sky with the sun peering down from the sky. The smaller Pokemon encourage Koraidon to go up there and Koraidon gives their goodbye as Miraidon still remains knocked out.
We switch to a lab where a man in a purple futuristic suit and a lab cot seems to be working on something when he looks up.
"It seems that Koraidon is preparing to leave, it looks like my 'Treasure Hunt' is beginning." the man said ominously as he gets back to work on a battery like device.
We switch settings to Naranja academy where we see Pikachu and Quaxly on the side watching Ash and Buizel battling Sarah and her Kilowattrel for Pokemon battle class with Dendra as students watch in exitement after as Ash and Sarah are having their friendly first battle compared to last time.
"Is Ash going to be ok using his Buizel, Kilowattrel is an Electric type?" A random female student said.
"I trust Ash's instincts, he'll do well." Nemona said excitedly, "As do I." Dean said as he and his Squawkabilly cheer him on with pom-poms. Ash grabs his Dex to scan the Pokemon.
Kilowattrel, the Frigatebird Pokemon, An Electric/Flying type. Kilowattrel are known to ride the winds throughout the day and pushes them along place to place. Because Electricity is stored within their feathers, they lack the oil they need to swim so they can only stay above shore or near low-level swimming pools.
"You have a Pokemon box too?" Ash said curiously, "Kind of, I'm subscribed to a Pokemon Box service to store my Pokemon at a location, but I have to get my mons from a nearby machine or at Nurse Joy's." Sarah said casually.
"Good to hear, ready for a new battle with me?" Ash said as Sarah smirks, "Of course."
"This battle will be like your regular Pokemon battle, no gimmicks like Tera allowed for this battle. And you may begin, Osu!" Dendra said happily as Sarah called out her first move, "Tailwind!" Sarah said as Kilowatterel flapper their wings fastly to create a strong current that pushes Buizel back a bit while Kilowattrel's feathers seem to be electrified which the class seem to notice.
"I know it's a Electric type but Kilowattrel's feathers seem to be on edge, don't you think?" Dean said as Dendra turned her head, "That's the result of Wind Power, whenever it's hit by a Wind move or Tailwind is in effect, it's Electric type moves are boosted in power to make for some electrifying outcomes." Dendra said excited.
"Alright Buizel use Aqua Jet!" Ash said as Buizel covered itself in a watery veil and launched itself towards Kilowattrel as Sarah called on her next move, "Spark!" Kilowattrel covered itself in an electric veil and rushed towards Buizel at electrifying speed and clashed. The result was a spectacular clash of water and electricity that sparkled on the battlefield.
Seeing an opportunity with Kilowattrel staggered a bit, Ash calls out his command. "Buizel Sonic boom!" Ash said as Buizel's tail glowed and spinned to throw a gray energy slash in the air landing on the staggered bird Pokemon making it fall to the ground but gets back up shaking their body with Buizel coming down also. "Alright Kilowattrel, use Air Slash!" Sarah said as Kilowattrel glows their wings and launches larger light blue energy slashes towards Buizel, "Buizel multiple Sonic Booms!" Ash said as Buizel proceeds to do the same but the Sonic booms were much smaller compared to the Air Slashes and so they were able to bypass the Sonic boom and hit Buizel who was sent back.
"Buizel!" Ash said as Buizel tries to get back up as Sarah smirks, "Alright Kilowattrel, use Thunderbolt!" Sarah said as Kilowattrel charged up its electricity and prepares to release a bolt of electricity when Ash sees an opportunity and so did Buizel. "Buizel time for the you know what." Ash said as Buizel nods and begins to spin and launch 3 streams of water and Kilowattrel launches Thunderbolt as Sarah realizes what Buizel was doing.
"It's the Counter Shield!" Arven said impressed as Buizel's Counter shield reflected Thunderbolt as Sarah smiles, "Well you can't keep doing Counter Shield forever, Spark!" Sarah said as Kilowattrel's body glowed with electricity and rushed towards Buizel at quick speed as Ash and Buizel smirks.
"Time to jump Buizel!" Ash said as Buizel used the momentum to jump over to allow Kilowattrel to go under missing the attack which Sarah gasped at, "Wha-" "Ice Punch!" Ash said as Buizel's fist is covered with ice and punches Kilowattrel in the back sending it to the ground trying to get up.
"Now finish this with Aqua Jet!" Ash said as Buizel covered itself in a watery veil and launched itself at Kilowattrel's back as a puff of smoke appeared, the smoke clears to see Buizel standing victorious over a fainted Kilowattrel as Dendra goes to check on both of them.
"Kilowattrel is unable to battle, Ash and Buizel win!" Dendra said as Ash and Buizel hug each other in accomplishment as Sarah smiles and goes to her Kilowattrel, "You know, you were pretty amazing Kilowattrel, we'll get em next time!" Sarah said encouragingly to her Kilowattrel who's happy.
"Watt!" it said as Sarah returns her Kilowattrel in her Pokeball, we also see Pikachu cheering on and Quaxly seemingly trying to practice its own Counter Shield thinking of using it's dancing mixed with Aqua Jet or Aqua Cutter. Sarah goes to the shorter trainer and handshakes Ash which surprises the class.
"It seems that compared to last time, Ash and Sarah are on friendly rival terms and Sarah isn't judgmental anymore." Arven said as Penny and Nemona nod, "That's the power of a champion, encouragement and Anime stereotypes." Penny said casually.
"Your skills in battling really show in this battle." Dendra said to the both of them, "Thanks, it's thanks to my skills as a Champion." Ash said as Sarah smiles, "And it's thanks to my skills... by being overleveled." Sarah said admitting to her faults from last time.
"As for all of you, tomorrow we'll practice running with your Pokemon so you and your Pokemon's speed are in check. Class dismissed, Osu!" "Osu!" the student say back to their teacher as they grab their bags and head out.
Ash returns Buizel and Quaxly to their Pokeballs and looks to the gang (plus Dean and Sarah) and Dean asks his question, "Say Ash, what're you going to do now?" Ash thinks for a moment before answering. "I'm probably going to go train, want to come with?"
"Can't, preparing something for the cooking club." Arven said.
"I have student council duties to go to, something about a Rotom invading a vending machine." Nemona said.
"I have homework to do." Dean said.
"I'm helping Verde with homework due to her aide being sick."
"I can go with you; I actually want to show you a popular spot near Los Platos." Penny said with her Sprigatito on her shoulder as Ash nods and smiles. "Alright, let's go!" Ash said happily as Penny nods and goes with Ash as Dean smiles.
"Ah young love, it's so sweet." Dean said as Sarah looks to Dean, "You probably don't want to be caught saying that." Sarah suggested as Dean looks on in confusion.
"Why's that?" Dean said as he's given a mirror by Sarah to see a floating can of whip cream as his pompadour is covered by the whip cream revealing that Penny's Espeon was the cause of the incident and immediately runs off before Dean could do anything about it as he's left with blank eyes and is flabbergasted.
We see Ash and Penny walking down through Mesagoza holding bags of berries, Mesagoza was looking rather lively with many people at farmers markets, and everyone seemed to be happy which Ash notices.
"Everyone seems lively on a Tuesday." "Pika." both Ash and Pikachu said, "They're probably preparing for the La Tamatolina festival, it's where people gather up Tamato berries and people and Pokemon have a huge battle to throw Tamatos at their opponents. It gets crazy every year." Penny informed Ash and Pikachu who's eyes sparkle with interest.
"That sounds fun, eh Pikachu?" Ash said with interest, "Pika!" Pikachu responded.
Penny's Sprigatito goes to hide in Penny's jacket underneath Penny's neck to hide from those so called Tamato throwers as Penny chuckles, "Haha, don't worry Sprigatito, I won't let anyone throw Tamato's at you I promise." Penny said happily scratching Sprigatito's forehead as she purrs.
The duo of trainer's heads down to the south Mesagoza gate into Los Platos and heads left onto South Province One where Ash and Arven were last time when they encountered Arven's new Hisuian Sneasel. The field was expansive once more with Pokemon playing about, the Sneasels and Weaviles from last time fighting with a group of Lechonks and its evolution Oinkologne over berries and so much more.
"Wow even this area is livelier like in Mesagoza." Ash said in awe, "I take it you've been down here before?" Penny asked as Ash nods. "Yep, me and Arven were here when we encountered that Hisuian Sneasel that Arven would later catch when it tried to steal our Herba Mystica." Ash informed.
"So, the Herba Mystica is real." Penny said, "Petty much." Ash said as they move along onto the field and notices weird lawn 'ornaments' standing about which were pink and avian like and standing on one foot which seems to distract Ash.
"Huh, I didn't know they got lawn ornaments standing about here." Ash says as he tries to touch one but Penny, Pikachu and even Ash's Rotom phone panics over this decision, "Wait that's no lawn Ornament, that's a-" Penny didn't even finish as the lawn ornament swung a mighty kick sending Ash flying comedically in the air.
"Flamigo." Penny finishes as phone Dex scans Flamigo.
Flamigo, the Synchronize Pokemon, Flying/Fighting. Despite appearing like lawn ornaments, these Pokemon are actually experienced kickers that attack at perfect harmony. It is said that their kicks are as strong as an oncoming train.
"Now you tell me!" Ash said disappearing in the sky with a twinkle.
The duo walks along the grassy fields with Pikachu, Espeon and Sprigatito playing about with Espeon teaching Sprigatito how to pounce and Sprigatito doing it with cute failure which Penny smiled at. They eventually reached some ruins which were... well, abandoned and torn down seemingly overtaken by Pokemon and nature which seemingly live in peace.
"I wonder what this place used to be?" Ash asks curious as a group of Drowzee run off, "Maybe this place was a village?" Penny said also looking around. "Maybe they all turned to ghosts?" a mischievous voice was heard saying spooking Penny as she hugged Ash who was also surprised while Spirgatito hid behind Espeon whose eyes glowed ready for battle.
They turn around to see a mischievously cat smiling Raifort as Penny gets off Ash blushing while Espeon's eyes stopped glowing and sighed, ""Ms. Raifort don't scare us like that!" Penny said as Raifort chuckles.
"Sorry, I have a bad habit of doing that." Raifort said as she stopped laughing, "What are you doing here?" Ash asks the history teacher. "I like to come out here everyday after school to check on the ruins and the Grasswither Shrine to see that no one's tampered with it." Raifort said casually as Ash got curious.
"The Grasswither Shrine?" Ash asks as Raifort nods, "Yep, that shrine is actually a seal that contains the wicked Wo-Chien and Wo-Chien was the reason for this ruined building here." Raifort said with a mixture of optimism and dread which Ash and Penny doesn't notice.
"How did this happen?" Penny asks as Raifort sighs and softly smiles, "If I tell you, you have to promise me to keep this to yourself. It's a free answer to your homework and exams coming up." Raifort said mischievously before clearing her throat.
"I'm sure I told you this before as a sneak peek, but I mentioned that there was once a monarchy in Paldea and the king was obsessed with treasure so bad that he had adventurers go out to an eastern region just so he can have them all. What you might've didn't know about however is that he gave one of the artifacts, a group of wooden tablets containing text that is so cursed, that if you were to read it, you would be disinigrated on the spot even if you close your eyes." Raifort said creeping the trainer duo and their Pokemon out enough for Pikachu to lose color.
Raifort continued, "Horrifying, yes? The king gave the artifact to his son, Pandejo, Duke of Platos and the ruins you see here was actually a royal house of the duke, now in ruins. One day despite the warnings not to read it, the duke read the tablet and was supposedly you-know-what on the spot and the mixture of the grassy area, the dead leaves and the dead souls of humans and grass types caused the formation of Wo-Chien who utterly destroyed the place and turned this area here into a barren wasteland until a hero of fire and one of 4 champions under the top hero named Unotiva and his Arcanine burned it to smithereens though it wasn't permanent due to its regeneration so they sealed it within that seal over there."
Ash, Penny and their Pokemon looked over to a chained purple seal that chanted ominous noises making them lose color once more, "This was only the beginning of the end of the monarchy as the others awakened but that's another story for another day. To this day, there are people and Pokemon known as Seal Masters, the humans that watch the shrine and are trained by previous Seal Master's and Seal Guardians, Pokemon trained by previous guardians to protect the shrine and dispose of the Artifact Pokemon if they were to ever escape."
Ash looks both ecstatic and horrified at the same time, "That sounds cool and yet horrifying the same time." "Me too." Penny said also petrified as Raifort chuckles.
Ahh those two, they remind me of my son and daughter back in Unova, always curious and adventerious... Why am I getting sentimental all of a sudden. Raifort thought to herself seeing the bright trainers happy.
After that huge conversation, Raifort offers the duo of trainers to see the Seal Master as she knows a lot of history with the seals and knew of a Seal Master who saved her life once which the students agree to under the condition to not touch anything but that's when Penny notices something in the distance.
"Hey, you notice that in the distance?" Penny said as the 3 look over to see a small pink baby like Pokemon trying to fight a rather smug Pawniard, some Corvisquire's and a Morgrem as Tinkatink struggles not to cry but is ready to fight.
"Oh, I've seen that Tinkatink before, most Tinkatink usually cry when it comes to facing larger Pokemon and tries to protect her hammer as best as possible but never usually wins." Raifort informs the group as Ash grabs his phone Dex.
Tinkatink, the Metalsmith Pokemon, Steel/Fairy. Tinkatink carries around a small rattle it keeps by its side and tries to protect it from all costs from others but due to Tinkatink's size, their rattle is usually stolen but it always tries to create new rattles from broken metal.
"A Tinkatink huh." Ash says as he's about to help but Raifort stops him, "Wait, I know you have good intentions, but you should watch Tinkatink. She has similar determination and fighting spirit like you but always seems to have flaws in her style." Raifort says pointing towards the Tinkatink who is prepared to fight Pawniard who tells his cronies to back off and they begin to fight.
Tinkatink rushes in using Metal Claw as the rattle glows and shapes itself like a jagged edge to rush and rush at Pawniard who keeps dodging until its blades start to glow black indicating Night Slash, but Tinkatink doesn't bother to dodge as it tries to go for a hit using Metal Claw but Pawniard smirks (or its eyes indicate it due to a lack of a mouth) and slashes Tinkatink who gets sent back. The trainers look on with shock, but Ash notices the issue.
"I see, she's focused on pure offense, but she has to focus on a mixture of evasion and speed in order to reach Pawniard and when Pawniard decided to attack, she kept going but didn't care to dodge herself, so Tinkatink took the hit." Ash said as the fight keeps going as Tinkatink gets back up to use Metal Claw which Pawniard decides to trip the pink Pokemon dropping her rattle trying to reach for it but Corvisquire grabs it with its feet and smirks as it runs off with Morgrem to a nearby lake as Tinkatink tries to reach it trying not to cry but uses her anger to her fist as it glows with pure anger which the gang seems to notice.
"Wait, I think it's trying to use Rock Smash, which could be detrimental to winning the fight against Pawniard." Penny said as Raifort nods but seems skeptical, "Yes, but every time she tries to use Rock Smash-." Raifort stops herself as Tinkatink gets up and tries to land an ultimate super-effective punch on Pawniard only for the red energy in Tinkatink's fist to turn gray and land the punch on Pawniard, Tinkatink's fist turns red from pain as she holds it to herself but tries to not cry.
"It always becomes a Covet." Raifort finishes as Pawniard walks away victorious and Corvisquire throws the rattle in a nearby pond, Ash notices this and sends out Buizel, "Buizel, go get the rattle." "Bui!" Buizel said in agreement and went to get the rattle while Ash and Pikachu go to the Tinkatink who was lying on the ground trying to soothe her pain.
Ash reaches out his hand for the Pokemon out of concern, "Say, are you alright?" Ash asks as Tinkatink accepts his hand up and immediately gets fire in her eyes with determination and starts to ramble on about that Pawniard and his cronies having a tantrum of some sort which Ash and Pikachu are confused bout and try to introduce themselves.
"Tink Tink Tink Tink!" Tinkatink said rambling on.
"Hi there Tinkatink, my name is Ash Ketchum, and this here is Pikachu and we're-" Ash is stopped by Tinkatink who points to Ash with determination and then points to herself and then starts to mimic a boxer which Ash is still confused about. "I'm not into boxing." Ash said simply as Raifort and Ash came over, "Actually, I think she's asking you to train her." Raifort said as Ash came to the realization and Buizel gets back with the rattle which Ash grabs and gives it back to Tinkatink and smiles softly.
"Alright, I'll train you but on one condition, you have to practice your evasion and get over your overreliance on your offense, but we'll also focus on that Rock Smash!" Ash said enthusiastically as Tinkatink agreed and go to a nearby open field as Raifort and Penny look on.
"Interesting, I get to see his training, that should be fun." Raifort said casually, "And I'll just be a background character watching the training." Penny said normally.
Tinkatink is prepared to train as Ash stands his ground with Pikachu and Buizel. "Alright Tinkatink, the first thing we need to practice is your evasion in battle! Your speed is pretty good, but you always seem to focus on your offense causing you to more focus your efforts on strength over speed, but we need a fair balance between the two. Here's the plan, you'll try to avoid Buizel's Ice Punch while trying to dodge and when the time is right, I want you to use your moves to attack. Got it?" Ash said enthusiastically as Tinkatink nods and prepares herself.
"Alright Buizel use a flurry of Ice Punches!" Ash says as Buizel nods and Buizel's fist turns to ice as he rushes towards Tinkatink who prepares to dodge and dodge but always seems to be dodging at very close calls almost getting hit as if something was hindering her. Ash watched on as he analyzed the scene picking up on some things. Tinkatink sees an opening and uses Metal Claw sending Buizel back a bit with Ash clapping for both Buizel and Tinkatink for their hard work.
"Alright great job you two but we'll try something a bit unconventional next. Tinkatink, we'll focus on your evasion once more but without the rattle." Ash says as he holds out his hand for the rattle which Tinkatink is reluctant to give out, "Don't worry, me and Pikachu will watch it at all costs. I just need to see your evasion without the rattle and want to see how you use your attacks." Ash said kindly as Tinkatink reluctantly gives her rattle to Ash and Ash sends out his Quaxly.
"Alright Tinkatink, I want you to do the same thing from last time but without the rattle and I want to see you attack without it, got it?" Ash asks the pink Pokemon who nods and gets into position. Raifort and Penny seem to notice Ash's idea, "I see what he's doing, he wants to see if Tinkatink can move fast without the rattle and how she attacks without one." Penny pointed out which Raifort nods at and adds on to this, "I think he's also trying to see if Tinkatink uses Rock Smash and trying to figure out why Tinkatink tries to go for the move only to end up with Covet."
"Alright Quaxly use Wing Attack!" Ash says as Quaxly's wings glow and rushed at Tinkatink who unlike last time, was dodging more quickly without the rattle and when Tinkatink saw an opening, Tinkatink charges up her fist with a red energy seemingly about to use Rock Smash only for that energy to disappear once more and use Covet as Quaxly blocks the attack but is staggered a bit meaning there was some effect which the gang seems to notice.
Ash then looks to the rattle and starts to make the connections between both item and Pokemon and an idea pops up, Ash goes to both Quaxly and Tinkatink and pats them on a job well done before looking at Tinkatink and giving her back her rattle.
"Honestly, that was amazing, and I think I get why your Rock Smashes aren't doing anything, it's the rattle isn't it?" Ash says as Tinkatink nods getting a confident smile out of Ash.
"You use your rattle in order to use Rock Smash and because your reliant on your rattle for attacks, without the rattle, it becomes much harder to use Rock Smash with your fist and you have to use the rattle instead, right?" Ash asks when everything goes silent as Tinkatink nods again and Ash comes up with an idea.
"Well then, how about we try something that will really help you out in battles while still keeping your rattle intact." Ash said as Tinkatink's eyes sparkle with enthusiasm and Penny and Raifort look on with intrigue.
"Our champion is hard at work with a plan, doesn't he?" Raifort said with intrigue, "Yes yes he does, but I like him for that." Penny said also with intrigue as Raifort displays a cat like smile.
"You like him, don't you?" Raifort said mischeviously as Penny blushes, "Wait where did you get that idea!?" Penny said blushing trying to deny it while an oblivious Ash got to work on this new strategy.
The 3 Pokemon from earlier come back ready for another fight but Tinkatink looks more confident and ready to battle with Ash stepping to the side.
"Tink Tink Tink!" Tinkatink said pointing towards Pawniard as it confidently looks at Tinkatink with pride and accepts her request for battle but looks towards Ash with worry towards her rattle but Ash nods to reassure her. "Don't worry Tinkatink, I'll make sure Corvisquire and Morgrem don't grab your rattle right Pikachu, Quaxly and Buizel." Ash said as Pikachu glows his tail signaling Iron Tail towards Morgrem who gulps and Buizel and Quaxly glow their arms towards Corvisquire who also gulps and both Tinkatink and Pawniard get into battle position.
Tinkatink focuses and remembers what Ash said to her.
"Here's what I want you to do, when you're focused on evasion, throw your rattle in the air that high in the air for your speed to increase and focus on smaller attacks and then grab it to keep your motion in flow. Use your rattle for attacking normally when there's a chance and then when you're preparing a powerful attack like Rock Smash, throw your rattle in the air and charge your attack and once it comes back down, unleash that attack!" Ash suggested which sounded interesting to the Tinkatink.
"But what about for larger Pokemon?" Penny asks, "We'll focus on that aspect later but when it comes time to larger Pokemon, wait for an opportunity to use a powerful attack like if they're tired, dazed, etc." Ash continued as they began training.
Tinkatink breathes in as she rushes towards Pawniard with Metal Claw trying to strike and strike until Tinkatink stops in place presumably tired as Pawniard sees an opportunity and tries to rush at her only for Tinkatink to uppercut Pawniard with Metal Claw sending it back shocking everyone including Ash.
"I didn't teach her that." Ash said, "But you did inspire something in Tinkatink that made her do that." Raifort softly says as Tinkatink winds her arm up and throws it in the air as Pawniard quickly gets back up and tries to rush at her once more. Unbeknownst to the Pawniard however, Tinkatink was much faster without the rattle and when Pawniard tries to slash at her with Fury Cutter, Tinkatink jumps over Pawniard's head and grabs her rattle which glows allowing her to use Metal Claw once more hitting Pawniard on the head causing it to go face down.
Tinkatink smirked as Tinkatink winded up her arm and threw it real high in the air and began charging her arm prepared to use Rock Smash as Ash looked on. Alright, do as we practiced, throwing the rattle in the air real high and then charge up your attack and when it comes down, use your rattle to attack. Ash thought to himself as Pawniard gets back up and angrily goes after Tinkatink with Fury Cutter trying to reach her but Tinkatink kept dodging in order to not lose her focus.
Pawniard goes to strike with Night Slash when Tinkatink charges up her left arm slightly and punches Pawniard using Covet all while her right arm is charging up for Rock Smash. With Pawniard staggered and flinched, Tinkatink sees an opportunity to jump and grab her rattle with the red energy from Rock Smash appearing onto the hammer and when Pawniard looks up after being staggered, all he could see is the small pink Pokemon coming down and smacking Pawniard in the face sending him flying into a nearby rock knocking out the Sharp Blade Pokemon and allowing Tinkatink to win the fight.
"Alright!" "Pika!" Ash and Pikachu said excitedly as Pawniard's cronies immediately go and check on their boss while Tinkatink hops in celebration. Tinkatink goes to Ash and hugs him on his leg which Ash doesn't seem to mind. Penny smiles on impressed with Ash's work though she's left with many questions.
"Ash, I have to ask, why did you help Tinkatink?" Penny asks the young champion who smiles, "It's just in my nature to help people and Pokemon alike, my duty as a champion is to make sure everyone's ok even with the most minor of problems or major ones. I love to help people, it's in my blood." Ash says enthuastically as Tinkatink looks at him with a new sense of determination and Raifort and Penny look on with soft smiles.
"You really do have the heart of a champion and it seems like those 3 are ready for round 2." Raifort says casually as the 3 Pokemon face back at the group determined to fight once more until a mighty growl was heard.
"Arca!" A mysterious voice growled as the group turns to see who made that noise revealing to be an Arcanine that stood firm and center on top of the cliff above the seal and we see it hop down some rocks before it jumps down and stares down at the three whimpering Pokemon. Arcanine opens his mouth but before he could roar, the three ran away like cowards before it turns to the three trainers and goes to them.
While Ash, Pikachu, Tinkatink, Penny and Sprigatito (Espeon was more stoic) look horrified, Raifort is not before Arcanine proceeds to lick them both happily sensing they aren't any threat which caught the trainers and their Pokemon off guard as they proceed to rub the large Arcanine's fur coat as Raifort also did the same.
"Sorry about Arcanine there, he loves to lick non-hostile people whenever he thinks you're not a threat to this here shrine." A male almost southern like voice was heard revealed to be an old happy man likely in his early 70's, with light dark skin, long white hair in a sage-like robe holding a walking stick with a dark green orb on it as Arcanine stops licking and goes to the old man.
"Your Arcanine is a good boi." Penny said as the old man chuckles, "Thanks, he's a friendly Pokemon once there's not any danger, how you are doing Raifort?" the old man said to a smug Raifort, "Not bad, Onu, you haven't looked any older than last time." Raifort said smugly as the old man chuckles. "Now watch it youngster, I can still move my muscles and you don't look a day over 36." Onu said as Raifort gets a smug dark shadowy look over her face before her face turns back to her confident smile.
"Sorry, you two. This here is Onu and his Arcanine and they're the Seal Master and Seal Guardian of the Grasswither Shrine here to protect it from intruders. These two are also they're descendants of the fire Champion and his Arcanine." Raifort says as Onu looks on confidently. "You got that right, I'm reaching my age and I'm already training a disciple for the future, but I can still move my muscles like I'm an Pokeolympic athlete, haha. What brings you here today?" Onu asks.
"These young lads here were interested in seeing what the shrine looked like in person and so I agreed to show them, but we were busy helping Tinkatink here get stronger." Raifort said referring to the Tinkatink who was hiding behind Ash's leg as Onu chuckles, "So I saw, I've seen that Tinkatink for weeks trying to outdo those hooligans until I saw this young man help train little Tinkatink earlier and I thought you were joking about the champion until I got a good look at him and his ace. You young man must be our World Champion Ash Ketchum and his adorable ace, Pikachu?"
"In the flesh!" "Pika!" Ash and Pikachu said with confidence, "Oh ho ho ho, you guys are really interesting. I assume you're studying good for the Treasure Hunt soon and you're not going to stop your journey until you've seen all the regions out there?" Onu said as Ash gulped in nod.
"Yes sir, how did you know?" Ash said nervously as Onu chuckles once more, "Don't be so formal young Ash, I've read your mind and you seem like the adventurous sort of boy that, and Raifort told me lots about you upon news of your arrival."
"Guilty as charged."
"Well then, since you guys are interested in our shrine here, why not have a look, from a distance of course." Onu said as they all walked over to the shrine. The shrine was actually a large seal, but they call it 'shrine' because it was once home to a shrine before they decided to remove it. The large purple shrine was malicious in aura and had voices of pure evil were heard which spooked both Ash and Penny and their Pokemon but Raifort and Onu weren't afraid. The trainers got to learn something new today as well as a new cheat sheet.
After a while, the students got their wish to see the shrine and Onu tells Ash that the other Shrine masters and Guardians will vary in personality and even one up north would like to battle him, but Onu knows that Ash can gain their trust somehow. Onu does tell Ash that there might be some unpredictability in his journey and that he and his allies should prepare themselves for the worst similar to what Ribes told him the other day, but Ash says he'll try to counter the dangers ahead ready to protect anyone at all costs, Onu trusts Ash's word and gives him good luck for the journey.
As Ash and co were prepared to leave, Tinkatink grabs onto his leg with Ash suspecting she was about to say thank you once more.
"Oh, hey Tinkatink. What seems to be the problem?" Ash asks the tiny pink Pokemon who says her name happily as Onu suspects why Tinkatink is acting like this, "Say Ash, if I had to suspect, Tinkatink would like to come with you on your journey. You helped her achieve a new battling style and cared for her problem, so I think she wants to come with you in order to improve her battling style." Onu said as Ash realizes that Tinkatink wants to come with.
"Of course, you can come with, let's work together to become even stronger!" Ash says grabbing a Pokeball and Tinkatink jumps happily to pat the Pokeball causing her to dissipate into red energy and shake in the Pokeball before sparkling signalling her capture.
"Alright, I caught a Tinkatink!"
"Pi Pika!"
"Bui!"
"Quax!"
"A very unconventional capture for Ash when looking at his Pokemon database but a unique one for sure." Penny says, "Well it's just like Onu said, life is full of unpredictability, and this is one of them. Plus, Tinkatink has a fighting spirit similar to Ash" Raifort says as they prepare to return to the school.
Ash sends out Tinkatink who climbs on his shoulder and cries tears of joy something she hasn't done in a while which Ash takes note of but decides not to call her out on it and allow her to be happy once and for all.
And so, another adventure ends on a wonderful conclusion as Ash catches a new member of his team and Ash gets to learn more about what Paldea has to offer as the journey continues.

Epilogue:
As soon as Ash and co leave, a robotic Gardevoir/Gallade fusion looks down towards Ash from a distance using its robotic eyes to zoom in and out analyzing the champion from a distance and looks a bit malfunctiony.
"So- so- so- so- so, this is the boy sealed in the crystal? This means I'm in the past like my creator told me. Operation 'Champions Call' begins." This mysterious robot says but before it could do anything, it's stomach grumbles as it displays a LED blush function on its face. "After I find some berries."

Hello one and all, you made it to the end of another wonderful chapter of Pokemon SVTA and yes, both another chapter in a week and Ash caught a Tinkatink. It's definetley not a Pokemon you would expect would be caught by Ash (though I kind of already mentioned it in chapter 0) but honestly, the Tinkatink line have a sort fighting spirit that honestly kind of fit Ash so I decided to make the most unconventional capture by him capturing a Tinkatink. I should note that even though he has 4 (5 counting reserves he switches) Pokemon, it won't be his final amount as I plan for him to make a couple of chapters and I treat Pikachu (and a special mon in the future) slot as an extra slot in a way for the story so he might have 7 Pokemon with him but he won't use Pikachu at times if that makes any sense.
We also get some major plot stuff for the future with the beginning and epilogue with the introductions of Koraidon, Miraidon and Iron Valient with Valient having a recurring role until the future (get it, future? Ok I'll leave) which means we're reaching the end of the Introduction Arc and we'll soon begin the Treasure Hunt or at least the Prelude to the Treasure Hunt and we'll have two more filler chapters left before we begin the plot.
Also, Raifort will have some major importance in the future 'Artifact Arc' and some of her dialogue and personal details will contribute to that in the future but that won't be for a while. I also hope you like the cover story idea I've come up with to provide characters of the past some spotlight. The next chapter will involve Ash and Dean helping Ms. Tyme over a mysterious stalker and will be the first friendship story similar to the games but it's also another filler chapter but it will also show Quaxly's development in his skills.
Speaking of Dean, I think it's also time to talk about the details of Dean and Sarah as I meant to do that for a while (plus talk about Ash's Tinkatink):
*Tinkatink (Female, Mold Breaker, met Ash in South Province when she wanted to become stronger for herself)

*Sarah (Female, Age: 15, Home: Lavarre City, Kalos)
*Naming reasoning: I actually don't know; I gave her that name just because I thought she was just going to be a one-off character but people seem to like her so I decided to bring her back. Coincidentally, Ash's 2nd English VA is named Sarah Natochenny so who knows, I might name her relative after another VA of Ash's (because I like names that connect to characters) like his first Veronica Taylor though we'll see.
*Appearance: She wears a black sweater with her school uniform underneath along with shorts and black hair.
*Sarah is from the Kalos region and always seemed to lose as a kid which caused her to train her Pokemon until they were high leveled prepared to take on the Kalos gym challenge, but her parents moved to the Paldea region due to business and was stuck there when she was 12 and onwards. She saw that most people flaunted their Champion rank and hated that people can get the champion rank easily despite the fact she overleveled her Pokemon to overcome the easiest of challenges. She despised those aiming for the champion rank in Paldea until Ash proved her otherwise and realizing the error of her ways, seeks to improve herself to others and is more apologetic.
Her starter is Fennekin.
Pokemon (she's seen using or has out thus far):
-Delphox (Female, Blaze): Her starter, Delphox loves belly loves and battles in comparison to Serena's Brai- I mean Delphox (in Journeys) and both share a close bond with each other.
-Talonflame (Female, Gale Wings): Her first Pokemon she caught, she's a stubborn but well-meaning Pokemon who seeks to help her trainer.
-Bellibolt (Male, Electromorphosis): Her first Pokemon she caught in Paldea, she caught him because he looked adorable despite what Sarah's appearance might suggest.
-Banette (Male, Cursed Body): A Pokemon she caught back in Kalos, he likes to dance and be happy despite what his appearance might suggest and is a fan of unique moves and combinations having improvised the 'Spinning Shadow' technique combing Trailblaze and Shadow Claw. Unbeknownst to everyone, she actually has Banette's Mega stone but wants to keep it a secret.
-Kilowattrel (Female, Wind Power): A Pokemon she usually has in a box along with several other mons, she loves to fight.
*Dean (Male, 14, Home: Sunyshore City, Sinnoh):
*Naming reason: His name comes from actor James Dean who's known for the film Rebel Without a Cause where Dean's appearance comes from though, I was also inspired by Rockabillies of the 60's, Elvis and Josuke Higashikata from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable which is where Dean's personality of a guy who looks scary but is very kind comes from. I was actually just going to make him a one-shot character, but I ended up liking Dean, so I decided to keep him around.
*Dean comes from the Sinnoh region where his parents are actually technicians for the entirety of Volkner's electrical inventions. His parents moved to the Paldea region when he was about 4 years old when his parents wanted to live somewhere warm and that's where Dean has been ever since. He's childhood friends with Verde, a blind girl who Dean makes sure is kept safe due to her disability and he has a crush on Verde despite her disability but wants to wait for the right moment to tell her (unbknowst to Dean, Verde likes him as well).
Pokemon:
-Squawkabilly (Female, Hustle): His signature Pokemon, she takes pride in her hair (feathers?) and dislikes it when someone comments or ruins her hair basically, like a Pokemon version of Josuke Higashikata. Despite being Deans signature Pokemon, she's actually not Deans's starter as she was his first Pokemon caught while in Paldea but his starters are actually Shinx (now a Luxray) and Magby (now a Magmortar), but we haven't seen them yet.
I was originally going to include Verde, but I need to flesh her out more as a character before I can talk about her more, I will say that she is powerful then what you might think despite her blindness assuming otherwise.
