Hello one and all to another chapter of Pokemon SVTA where today is where the plot truly begins and is part 1 of 2 of Koraidon's arrival. This first part will focus on Ash's adventure with Koraidon in order to get out of a cave all while learning more about Koraidon and the eventual event of Arven and Koraidon reuniting for better or for worse? That's something you'll have to wait on.
Don't have too much to say but let's begin.
Cover Story 10: Naganadel's Mo'olelo (Story) 2: Ka Hope (The After):
Last time, 3 Guzzlords appeared to be heading towards separate portals heading to the Manalo Conference, a tournament to decide who would become the first Champion of Alola. Poipoi (Ash's Poipole/Naganadel) felt congratulatory for their trainer winning the conference but didn't have the time to be celebrating as the Guzzlords were making their way and for each one that would make it through, the more that the portals closed. Upon the 3rd and last Guzzlord entering a portal, Poipoi felt afraid of what would happen to their friends, but they didn't want to give up.
They searched extensively through their world to see if there were any portals to no luck, that's until they see 2 Guzzlords popping back in a little while later looking defeated when they realized there was a chance their friends were fighting back and that they need to be over right away. They see a portal in the distance and rushes to it at full speed knowing it only be one way through and that they might not be back for a while. Poipoi reminisces on the soldier Poipole and Naganadel they helped raised and smiles before heading through to help Ash, Pikachu and Professor Ka- err I mean the Masked Royal to send back the last Guzzlord.
After all that was settled, Poipoi decided to help Ash out one last time with his battle against newly unmasked Masked Royal, Professor Kakui just a couple of days later. Poipoi put up a tremendous fight against Kakui's Lucario and did some tremendous damage on Tapu Koko before being defeated. Just a couple of days later, a wormhole opened back up allowing Poipoi to go back home and despite both Poipoi and Ash being reluctant to do so, they know that's for the best and Poipoi leaves with a new sense of determination.
Around a year later, we see Poipoi making good on the previous monarch's promise of raising the Poipole and Naganadel finally being accustomed to their role despite some setbacks. One day, Poipoi saw a portal where they see that Ash's Pokemon are living peacefully with Kakui and Burnet who also had a child but also, that Ash has never forgotten about Poipoi as he has a gift on Kakui's shelf labeled for Naganadel.
Poipoi looks on happily and although Poipoi sees a portal in the distance this time with Poipoi's employing guards to make sure no one goes into and ruins Alola, Poipoi decides it doesn't want to go in randomly but instead wait for an optimal time and until then, Poipoi will search for a gift the family that raised Poipoi and a disguise to not scare the baby.

Cover Story 11: A Connoissurs Worldwide Cooking Blog (2): An Exquisite Kalos taste (2, set around chapter 6):
After the events of the last chapter, Cilan was allowed to go around the world without the threat of the Shadow Triad. His new goal this time around is to create a food blog of his experiences around the world with food from resturants, ingredients, how people and Pokemon get along making food together, so on and so forth. Cilan decided his first destination would be Coumarine City in the Kalos region because it's home to the Grande Etoile owned by the Kalos Elite Four member Siebold and is the head chef, so Cilan decided to head there. During the flight, Cilan finds out that Siebold is an S-ranked Connoisseur and one of 3 Connoisseurs of Kalos which gets Cilan intrested.
When Cilan arrives to the city with his Pansage but as they were about to head to the restaurant, they find out the restaurant will be closed for a couple days for meeting reasons leaving Cilan disappointed, but it leaves an opportunity for Cilan and Pansage to learn about the city's love of Grass types and decides to buy some of the region's popular food items such as Macarons, Poke-puffs, some berries, plus some lunch from nearby due to the restaurant normally not opening until around 3:00. As he was walking to his hotel room to type out his first blog post, some of his food (including his lunch) is stolen by 2 mischievous kids and both Cilan and Pansage give chase.
When they arrive to a nearby old building, they find out that they took the food not out of mischief, but they wanted to help out their siblings and Pokemon and although they try to give back the box, Cilan tells them to keep it but explain the issue at hand. The children explain that their caretaker passed away recently and that with no one to take care of them, they resorted to stealing to survive. Cilan feels bad but tells them that they shouldn't steal but he'll make them a soup that can last a couple of days that is said to be so good, it should make them full after around one serving.
After making the soup, the children and Pokemon love it and Cilan decides to help out the children in any way he can until further notice. For the next couple of days, Cilan helps out the children via chores, cooking and everything else and decided that his food blog will also incorporate his experiences and types out his first blog 'Day 1: Encounter of a lifetime' which quickly became a hit and attracted the attention of the city who began donating materials, food and helping restore the orphanage back to its former glory.
It also attracted the attention of the Gym Leader Ramos and Siebold who go to the orphanage to meet Cilan, Siebold tells Cilan he's heard of his restaurant and its quality, and he decides that he'll handle the dinner for the children at his restaurant while he and Cilan talk about their experiences as Connoisseurs, dinner and even allow Cilan to review the Grande Etoile which Cilan accepts. Cilan is both excited and nervous to meet his first S-ranked Connoissuer and one outside of Unova but he's also curious to see what the food will taste like for his blog.

Main Story:
It was another day in Area Zero but one that will certainly change things for the future, we see Koraidon running up the hills of Area Zero determined to leave when all of a sudden, we see Miraidon rising up from the hole of Area Zero and blocking the path. Miraidon's eyes though robotic, displayed a level a maliciousness that Koraidon had not seen before, Miraidon wanted Koraidon dead.
Koraidon prepared for battle with its wings from their head expanding and jumped and rolled to prepare a Collision Course rushing at Miraidon who proceeded to do the same thing with Electro Drift. Both clashed at each other, but Miraidon wins the clash and sends Koraidon back to a wall looking defeated. Before Miraidon could launch a Flash Cannon, a Pokemon known as Glimmora rushes in with a purple spin hitting Miraidon and causing it to be poisoned.
Koraidon nods to the Glimmora with thanks and launches itself onto Miraidon's arm using Fire Fang and uses their strength to send Miraidon down a hill tumbling. Koraidon looks down to the hole of the underground waiting for a gust of wind to show up. Once a month, the hole that leads into underground creates a gust of air that launches upwards and thanks to Koraidon's wings, they can easily navigate through the gust and fly upwards to escape Area Zero.
Koraidon waits until a large gust of wind pops out of the hole, which was powerful and gusty but what Koraidon needed, Koraidon waves to Glimmora and the Pokemon are saying goodbye and proceeds to jump opening its wings and flying out of there. The gust was at first difficult for Koraidon as it was powerful, but they aligned their body just right to allow them to be one with the wind and the Pokemon cheered them on. Koraidon was now going through the clouds that surrounded Area Zero and made it through the clouds finally reaching the sky but as they were about to fly freely, a stray Flash Cannon hits Koraidon's right wing causing them to swerve.
Koraidon falls from the sky at blazing speed passing through several Flying types, onlookers look on as if a meteor flew by, Kieran tried to take a pic of this 'meteor' but only got an image of his sister Carmine's ruined hair and Samurott's ruined bow from the passing 'meteor'.
"I can't wait till this Treasure Hunt starts." Carmine said with a deadpan tone, "Samu." her Samurott said in agreement.
Koraidon kept swerving through rocks of the Vast Beyond and eventually flying by near the seal of Wo-Chien before eventually crash landing on a lonely beach near a cave letting out one last roar of its name before being knocked out.
The stray Flash Cannon was caused by Miraidon who was promptly knocked out by an Amoonguss with leg's Sucker Punch before they could do any more harm. We see the man in the purple suit who looks up from his battery like device to look at one of the security cameras to see that Koraidon has escaped and one of the cameras looks to be in the POV of Koraidon and what appears to be a beach with Houndour looking at it with curiosity as the man sighed.
"If I was still Clavell's student, he would punish me by giving me Alolan Pinap pizza and I don't want to relive that and then we have Sada and Arven. Oh boy, either way I'll have to tell Clavell... Right after this Anime." the man says turning on a nearby TV to what appears to be Kantonian text (Think Japanese text in-universe). "We now return to 'Daily life of a high school girl... who's a Toedscool and her love interest is a Gallade."
We see the Toedscool in a sailor fuku uniform running down a neighborhood street with a toast in her mouth, "Oh no, I'm going to be late again and my toast in unbuttered, this is the worst day of my lif-" Toedscool didn't finish as she bumped into the Bishonen Gallade who wore a male high school uniform and Toedscool blushes.
"Gallade-Senpai." Toedscool says blushing as Gallade leaned down and reached out his arm.
"Hey, you alright?" Gallade said.
"No wonder why the Otakus say that this is the best Shojo of all time, well I have 3 seasons and 78 episodes to get through, so I better make popcorn." the man says getting up from his chair.
We switch to Nemona's mansion out on the battlefield on the beach where we see Ash and Cinza side by side with Quaxly and Cinza's Flamigo out on the field and were facing Nemona with her Teddiursa alongside Coco and her flying Flapple onto the field ready for battle along with Drupe and his (Female) Indeedee being the referees. We also see Arven wearing a casual tee and shorts with Ash's Pikachu in his arms and his Sneasel on his shoulder while Penny was also in casual clothing with an orange tee and black shorts with her jacket wrapped around her waist and her Sprigatito in her arms with Penny's Glaceon next to her.
"Another day, another battle." Arven says casually as Penny nods, "You got that right, who do you think might win this one?" Penny asks as Mei, Spot and Maculata walk into the scene.
"Well Ash is a Champion so he's bound to win but with new Pokemon and Nemona's own battle experience, I guess it could be a close draw." Mei says as Maculata and Spot cheer their sister on. Ash grabs his Pokedex and scans the Flapple.
"Flapple, the Apple Wing Pokemon, A Grass/Dragon type. It flutters around while seeking an opening in the opponent's guard, then attacks by spitting acidic liquid strong enough to melt metal."
"Thanks for having this battle with me Ash." Coco says as Ash nods, "No problem but you'll find that I won't lose!" Ash says confidently as Coco and Nemona smirked.
"We'll see about that." both Nemona and Coco say, Ash looks to Cinza and both nods.
"Thanks for joining me, Cinza." Ash says, "Not a problem, me and Flamigo here needed to stretch, and I was glad to have joined you in a double battle so let's do our best!"
"Right!" Ash says in response, "You may begin!" Drupe says as Ash and Cinza went first.
"Alright Quaxly use Work Up!" Ash says confidently as Quaxly began to tense his muscles and an orange energy surrounds Quaxly however, Flamigo proceeded to copy Quaxly's Work Up, boosting its own attacking stats which caught Ash's attention.
"Did your Flamigo copy Work Up?" Ash asks as Cinza nods, "That he did my good fellow, that's Costar, it's an ability that Flamigo has that copies an ally's buffs." Cinza says which gives Ash an idea.
"Say Cinza, could you protect Quaxly while he 'Works Up'." Ash asks as Cinza nods, "Got it, Flamigo, protect Quaxly!" Cinza says causing Flamigo to nod and prepare to battle.
Coco and Nemona look on to their tricks and smirks, "I see what you're doing, and we'll do the same, Nemona!" Coco says as Nemona nods.
"Got it! Teddiursa use Slash!" Nemona says as Teddiursa nods and rushes towards Flamigo, "Flapple, Dragon Dance!" Coco says as Flapple tenses up and swirls around.
"Work Up!" Ash says as Quaxly and Flamigo tenses up, "Flamigo use Double Kick!" Cinza says as Flamigo rushes at Teddiursa and both clash at each other trying to damage one another but to no avail.
"Teddiursa, jump up and use Slash!" Nemona says as Teddiursa jumped and tried to slash at Flamigo who blocked the attack, "You're going to have to try harder than that to break through my Flamigo's speed master Nemona." Cinza says smirking as Coco calls out a move.
"Alright Flapple use Grav Apple!" Coco says as Flapple creates a light of energy resembling an apple and llaunches it with Teddiursa jumping out of the way and allowing Grav Apple to hit Flamigo sending it back a bit and colliding with Quaxly with both of them falling over. Both Pokemon get up but seem a bit wobbly from the effects of Grav Apple.
"Quaxly are you alright?" Ash asks as Quaxly feels a bit dazed alongside Flamigo who feels wobbly, "It must be the effects of Grav Apple that are causing Flamigo to act like that as it lowers once own speed power and some of that must've rubbed off on Quaxly.
"Alright no more stalling, Quaxly use Wing Attack on Flapple!" Ash says with confidence as Quaxly launches himself towards Flapple, "Oh no you don't! Teddiursa use Covet to defend Flapple!" Nemona yells out as Teddiursa went in front of Flapple and blocked the hit with its glowed arm. Coco sees an opportunity for an attack.
"Use Pounce on Flamigo!" Coco yells out as Flapple's body glows in a green light and rushes towards the unassuming Flamigo, "Intercept it with Double Kick!" Cinza says as Flamigo uses their strong legs to push back the strong Flapple.
Both Quaxly and Teddiursa clash with one another with strong blows, "Alright Teddiursa use Play Rough!" Nemona says seeing an opportunity as Ash got to work quickly. "Quaxly, dodge with your spinning!" Ash yelled out as Quaxly hopped back and spun multiple times avoiding Teddiursa's multiple Play Roughs becoming more faster with the spinning especially last time.
Quaxly has gotten much better with the spinning and is getting much faster both with the spinning and after spinning. Guess we'll try something. Ash thought to himself before calling out a move, "Alright Quaxly, use Aqua Cutter with your spinning!" Ash says as Quaxly nods and proceeds to create a watery blade and spin rather fast like a tornado rushing towards Teddiursa who holds her ground.
Both Flamigo and Flapple were clashing with each other with Flapple's Pounce and Flamigo's Double Kick respectively with both of them huffing, "Your good master Coco, what's your next plan?" Cinza says as Coco smirks and calls out her next move.
"You got that right, Flapple use Dragon Rush!" Coco says as Flapple nods and their body proceeds to project a Dragon head and rush at Flamigo, "Flamigo, it's all or nothing with Brave Bird!" Cinza says as Flamigo rushes across the field and flies at full force colliding with Flapple creating a large puff of smoke.
Nemona sees an opportunity revolving around the spinning Quaxly and nods, "Alright Teddiursa, grab Quaxly's leg and throw him in the air!" Nemona said with confidence as Teddiursa waited for the right time to grab and throw Quaxly in the air causing both Ash and Pikachu (from a distance) to look on with shock. Nemona smirks, "Alright Teddiursa, finish him off with Slash!" Nemona calls out as Teddiursa's claws glowed and jumped up to rush at Quaxly who was repositioning himself.
"Quaxly use Aqua Cutter!" Ash called out as Quaxly nods and creates an Aqua blade and rushes down to collide with Teddiursa's Slash and both land on the ground. As they were standing, we see the dust clear and both Flapple and Flamigo were both knocked out and eventually, both Teddiursa and Quaxly fall to the ground defeated.
"And both sides are unable to battle, both are losers!" Drupe says as Coco gets a vein on her head, "You mean it's a draw!?"
"Really? That's what people say?" Drupe says who prepares to run away from an angry Coco and Flapple with Drupe's Indeedee watching from a distance and the other 3 trainers returning their Pokemon and nodding to them for a job well done.
"Well, Nemona, I think you're set for the Gym challenge but remember, try not to get to arrogant." Ash says as Nemona nods, "I promise you I won't be obnoxious." Nemona said happily as both Ash and Cinza sweat nervously.
I said arrogant, not obnoxious but you do you. Ash thought to himself.
We see Rolo and Leoa walking out from the back and onto the platform with renewed smiles on their faces, no longer were they nervous but are happier compared to last time.
"Hey guys, breakfast is ready!" Leoa calls out to them catching the gang's attention and they all prepare to walk from the beach to the house but not before going to the Helena-Banderas family Nurse Joy to get their Pokemon healed.
We see the everyone at the table eating with Mei and Cinza comedically crying, "I'm not ready to say goodbye again Nemo!" Mei said comedically crying as Nemona stands up from her seat and hugs them both. The gang's Pokemon were eating near the balcony area.
"Don't worry, I won't be gone forever." Nemona says as she counsels them, we see Rolo looking to everyone happily as they eat.
"So, I assume you have your goals set for the Treasure Hunt I presume?" Rolo asks the gang as they nod, "That's good and Ash, you remember our contract from yesterday involving the sponsorship, right?" Rolo asks as Ash nods and the gang look on with surprise.
"You have a sponsorship!?" Nemona, Arven and Penny say shocked, "Yeah, before we went to bed, Rolo asked if I had any sponsors and I said no so he offered me as my first sponsor. How does that work again?" Ash says as Rolo nods.
"Well, it's hard to explain but think of me as your business partner in the world of Champion battles and in those battles, you earn some sort of profit that helps provide new horizons to you and my company and well, it's very complicated." (A/N: I actually have no idea how real sponsors work so that's my close explanation.)
"Essentially think of my dad's company as some sort of way to make extra money towards official matches, something like that." Nemona says as they got back to eating and preparing for the long road home.
A little while later, we see the gang standing at the front gate with the Nemona's family, Mei's children, the Banderas family staff and the Shangri-La staff with the Pokemon waving goodbye.
"Well, Nemona. I guess this is goodbye for a little while once more. I wish we got to talk more especially after yesterday." "Me too." both Rolo and Leoa said rather melancholically as Nemona smiles, "Don't worry, it isn't goodbye forever, I can always come visit you guys and you can always visit me wherever I am." Nemona says happily as she hugs her father and siblings.
Coco walks up to Ash (with Quaxly and Pikachu on his shoulders) with a blush, "Say Ash, come by again so we can have another battle and maybe, hangout." Coco says with a bit of flirtation which causes a shadowy glare from Penny's glasses as they both glare at each other with intense jealous heat while Ash looks on obliviously having not noticed the flirtation.
We see Cinza walking holding 4 lunchboxes containing uniquely shaped sandwiches, "Since you guys are heading out back to Mesagoza, I thought it would be appropriate to give you guys some sandwiches for lunch later." Cinza says as the gang nods.
"That's great, thank you Cinza." Nemona says as Cinza hands out the lunchboxes to the group, "I figured that I'd design the sandwiches after Pokemon you seem to be associated with such as the unique Sneasel for Arven, Pikachu for Ash, Pawmo for Nemona and Eevee for Pennn-" Cinza stopped like a record after noticing Penny's deadpan stare (hidden behind a shade within her glasses) and Ash, Arven and Nemona giving Cinza the 'no' expression by shaking their heads and Cinza immediately rushes back to the house and back out and swapping Penny's Eevee sandwich for a Sprigatito one.
"For Penny a Sprigatito." Cinza said with huffing as the 3 trainers breathed a sigh of relief while Penny continues to stare deadpan with her Sprigatito looking at her with concern.
C'mon, I know I get sad about Eevee but I'm not that sensitive, most of the time. Penny thought to herself.
The silence clears as the gang turn around and prepare to leave and everyone prepared their goodbyes, Nemona turns around and points to her chest with her thumb. "The next time you'll see me, is at the top!" Nemona said with confidence as Rolo and Leoa look on with happiness but to Rolo in particular, he sees a vision of his wife Gina doing the same thing with her same confident smile and attitude as Nemona causing Rolo to tear up.
"And I'll make sure I see you at the top in the future! Promise me you'll make it through!?" Rolo yelled out happily as the Nemona and Pawmo proceed to put a fist up in the air with confidence and looks back with confidence as Rolo stops and nods before Nemona and Pawmo catch up with her friends. Leoa looks to her father in worry, "Are you sad again father?" Leoa asks as the tears continue to fall but he doesn't break his smile.
"No, I'm happy, very happy."
A little while later, we see the group at the entrance of Poco Path ready to enter through the gateway.
"Well, after we walk through this path, we'll be heading our way back and are officially travelling together. You guys have anything to say before we walk through?" Ash asks the group.
"It's almost as if we're starting our journey's together by walking through this gate, I'd say we walk together at the same time mmuch like at the South Mesagoza gate but without any mistakes." Arven suggested as the gang nod and breathed in.
"Well, here goes nothing. 1, 2, 3." Penny says as the group walk through the gateway without any issue, "Well that wasn't so bad." Nemona says until they heard the sound of a Pokemon crying.
"Taroun Taroun Taroun!" A Bug type Pokemon said in anger with its foot stuck underneath Arven's foot as he immediately gets off, "Oh, sorry Tarountula." Arven says as Tarountul launches a String Shot from its mouth onto Arven's face and Ash scans it.
Tarountula, the String Ball Pokemon, Bug type. This Pokemon's web threads may not look like much but they're actually as hard and sharp as iron, but no one knows why as of right now.
Tarountula immediately leaves crawling into the grass.
"Well at least no one's injured right now." Penny says as the gang move along and Arven stares with a deadpan expression as he catches up to them.
The gang walk up the hill with Ash's Quaxly and Pikachu race up the hill to get to the top and the gang engage in small talk, "Say Ash? Since it will be a bit until we get to Mesagoza, I want to know how you'll be searching for the Elite Four during this journey?" Arven says as Ash thinks for a bit.
"Well, all 4 are in Medali, Porto Estelar, Levincia and Mesagoza so maybe once I get there, I'll ask around for these individuals?" Ash says still unsure of himself, "Well, we'll figure it out eventually." Arven says positivly as Nemona went next.
"How many Pokemon do you have in total."
"Well let's see, counting the Pokemon with me right now, at Oak's and Kakui's lab, and those that aren't with me as well as Rotom Dex and Rotom phone. I have a total of 87 Pokemon." Ash says causing the group to get surprised.
"87 Pokemon!?" Arven, Penny and Nemona say with shock as Ash nods.
"30 of which are made up of Tauros." Ash continued causing the group to be shocked, "30!?" they said shocked.
"Yeah, everytime I tried to catch a random Pokemon, a herd of Tauros runs by, and I end up catching one for some reason. It continued until I caught 30 of them with all 30 Safari balls." Ash said.
"Maybe you'll have luck with catching a Paldean Tauros, there's 3 forms of them, Aqua, Blaze and Combat breeds." Nemona mentions as Ash thinks about it, "Maybe, it only happened while catching a random Pokemon but I'll give it a try one day."
The group continues to walk for a little while until, "RAI!" a thunderous voice was heard catching the group off guard and looked around.
"Ash was that your stomach!?" Arven asks as Ash shook his head, "I don't think so, my stomach sounds like hungry Pyroar." Ash mentions.
"Rai!" the thunderous voice was heard again this time much weaker; Penny points out the direction of where the sound came from, and the gang go to where she's pointing to and from the distance on a cliff, they see a red figure at the beach surrounded by Houndour sniffing at this red figure.
"What do you think it is?" Ash says curious to what it is, "Maybe it's a Charizard?" Penny suggested.
"From the ocean?" Nemona says as Penny stares at her, "It has wings." Penny says.
"Maybe it's a Heatran, if that's the case then I call dibs!" Nemona says causing a face palm from Penny.
"Maybe it's a Centiskorch, I have some binoculars." Arven says grabbing his binoculars from his bag and looking through them but Arven sweats nervously and his eyes have a look of emotionless and slight anger which the gang notice and look worried for him.
"Arven? Are you ok?" Ash asks the emotionless Arven, "That thing- that thing- that thing is Korai-" but before Arven could finish, Quaxly lost his footing from a piece of a cliff coming off catching the group's attention and Arven breaks off from his emotionless phase.
"Quaxly!" Ash yells out as he immediately runs and jumps off the cliff to catch Quaxly in his arms, "ASH!" the gang said immediately, and they go to the cliff prepared to grab their Pokeballs but before they could do anything, Ash's Pokeball shakes releasing Sceptile who immediately jumps off a rock and catches Ash in his arms and quickly jumps down the rocks to safety.
All 3 of them breathe a sigh of relief but Ash looks to his Quaxly in worry, "Are you alright Quaxly?" Ash asks as Quaxly nods in approval before Ash looks to his Sceptile. "Thank you Sceptile." Ash says as Sceptile nods.
Ash's Rotom phone rings and it answers showing an icon of Arven, "Ash are you ok!" Arven's concerned voice was heard as Ash nods.
"Yep, me, Quaxly and Sceptile are fine, where's Pikachu?" Ash said, "He's with us up here." Nemona says.
"Don't worry us like that again damn it, you had me all worried!" Penny were heard on the phone in anger as Ash rubs his head.
"Point taken. I'll check out the figure over there" Ash says as he gets up, "Just be careful, alright." Nemona says in worry.
Ash, Quaxly and Sceptile walk up to the figure with the Houndour being driven away by the sight of Sceptile's glare and Ash kneels down to rub his head with his Pokemon in battle position just in case as the figure looks up non-aggressively.
"Rai." the figure said weakly as its stomach is growling.
"Hmm, you're like me when I'm hungry, haha. Let's see what I have, I have konpeito?" Ash says pulling out some star candy as the figure shake its head no. Quaxly and Sceptile nod to each other and go around searching for stuff and come back with some stuff.
"Quax Quax?" Quaxly says holding a Sitrus Berry as the figure shook its head, "Scep!" Sceptile says holding some Figy Berries as the figure shook its head once more. Ash then grabs his sandwich and shows it to the figure.
"All I have left is this sandwich here." Ash says as he takes out the sandwich and the figure starts to sniff the sandwich and eat the sandwich, "You feeling better?" Ash asks the figure who feels refreshed and gets up.
"Wow, you're huge!" Ash said astonished alongside Quaxly and Sceptile, the figure shakes itself before it walks a couple of steps before proceeding to glow with an orange light which the gang sees from a distance. It jumps in the air and through a flash, its feathers align with its back and its tail pops out and now lands on the ground in a bipedal way causing Ash and his mons to look on shock.
"Just what are you?" Ash asks as the creature looks back and nods before walking into a nearby cave, the phone rings again with Penny's icon appearing on screen and so Ash answers.
"Ash, you saw that right?" Penny says as Ash tells her yes, "Whatever that is, it's most certainly not a common Pokemon around here. I'm going to follow that Pokemon through that cave and see if there's a way out." Ash says.
"Alright, be careful." Penny says before hanging up and Ash and his mons follow this Pokemon to the cave, we switch over to Penny and the gang looking on nervously.
"Do any of you have any rope by any chance? We'll need that to get Ash." Penny asks the group, "I don't have any rope, what about you Arven?" Nemona asks as Arven snaps out of his trance and nods.
"I believe I do have some around the lab, I'll go check." Arven says as the gang nods and prepares to rescue Ash. Meanwhile, we see Team Rocket from a submarine looking on from the distance. Inside, we see TR peddling and looking on in intrigue and seemingly stretching.
"You know, it feels nice being out of the Champion's HQ for a while, I love being a co-manager of a janitorial department, but I honestly need my stretches." James said tiredly alongside a similarly tired Grafaiai. "I'm glad all this working earned us a break and a huge paycheck; we can use that for finally opening our bar and even restart our broadcast of our podcast." Meowth says also tired.
"We can focus on that later, right now, we need to focus on whatever this Pokemon is. It kind of looks like a large, red Cyclizar but more ferocious, you got anything James?" Jessie says as he looks through the Rotom Dex but shakes his head, "Nothing here, not even in Occulture magazine." James says catching Jessie, Meowth's and Wobbuffet's attention.
"Occulture?" they ask as James nods, "Yeah, I found it in the break room one day, it describes various Pokemon depicted from the past and the future and how we as present-day people interpret them such as a futuristic Hariyama that was made from the remnants of a famous athlete, a Jiggilypuff from a billion years ago, Magneton's existed in the past, and a futuristic Volcarona sent from space as a UFO!?"
"How can they describe something from the future if it hasn't existed?" Jessie says, "It's as I said, it's how we interpret them and some of them may not be true like how is a Jiggilypuff supposed to have an 80's rockstar hairline back a billion years ago or how is that Volcarona a UFO, it doesn't look like one!?" James says.
"Oh whatever, the point is, we should tail them and listen in on them for our chance to take that thing for ourselves and we can become personal executive officers to Giovanni!" Meowth says happily as the others look on happily.
"Hmm, just imagine us in that position. We can be the first executive officers of Giovanni in a long time" Jessie says excitedly, "Aren't Matori and that Alolan Meowth executive officers though." James points out as Jessie simply ignores him.
"Like I said, we'll be the first since the previous 3 left Team Rocket." Jessie says happily as James sighs, "Who are those 3?" Meowth asks as James turns to him.
"Ah, you were sick that day when we heard this, but the 3 Jessie mentioned are some of Giovanni's most trusted individuals who left TR for unknown reasons. there was the mischievous Oracia who left upon seeing our 'wrongdoings' and supposedly changed her identity and hair color before heading off, the scary Andrea is similar while Archer on the other hand is believed to be still working with Giovanni but those are only rumors from what I've heard." James says as Meowth then imagines himself as a member of the executive officers and fawns over the idea of taking Giovanni's Persian's place as the sub sinks down.
Ash, Quaxly and Sceptile were seen inside the cave surrounding Ash as many of the Pokemon in there such as Yungoos, Gumshoos, Houndour, Salandit and Diglett looked on in awe and horror over the size of the Pokemon whom Ash was following, and it seems that a Houndoom from a nearby cliff alongside some of their Houndour seemed to take an interest.
"Just what is this location?" Ash says in awe, "Tile/Quax." both of Ash's Pokemon say in agreement as they continued walking. We see Nemona walk into the cave from a nearby entrance noticing Ash in the distance and waving to him.
"Ash, mysterious Pokemon that I'll call Jimmy, over here!" Nemona says as Ash nods and the 4 go over there.
"Nemona, be careful up there, it's steep up there!" Ash yelled out, "I'll be fine! I got you some rope, so give me a minute!" Nemona says lowering the rope along with Pawmo and Penny.
"Got it!" Ash says as they began waiting but the figure looked like they wanted to leave and prepared to do so until, "Ash look out, a Gumshoos!" Nemona yelled out as a Gumshoos jumped up and prepared to use Fire Fang on Ash but not before Quaxly jumps and kicks Gumshoos in the stomach and Sceptile uses Leaf Blade sending that Gumshoos flying.
"Thanks you two." Ash says as he pats both Sceptile and Quaxly but suddenly, a horde of Salandit, Houndour and Yungoos arrive to fight as the 3 prepare themselves, "Alright Quaxly and Sceptile, guess like we'll have to drive them away, you ready?"
"Scep!" "Quax!" both Pokemon say as Ash also prepares himself, though 'Jimmy' wanted to leave, they can't help but be curious as to what Ash is capable of and decides to stay.
"Alright, Quaxly use Aqua Cutter, Sceptile Leaf Blade let's go!" Ash says as the two Pokemon nod and prepare their blade and rushed into the horde, driving them away with their slashes without seriously injuring them but rather scaring them away. This seems to intrigue Jimmy who starts to take interest in Ash for his battle prowess. A little while later, all of the Pokemon scamper away scared of the power both Quaxly and Sceptile wield and both Pokemon fist bump. At that point, Jimmy has taken full interest in Ash.
As they were about to climb the rope, a small flame burst comes by and burns the rope that Ash was about to climb on and it's revealed to have come from a Houndoom who has taken interest in battling them, but Ash notices his two mons tired out by the battling and Houndoom prepares a Fire Blast. Ash immediately goes in front them shocking both Pokemon, Nemona and 'Jimmy'.
"Ash no!" Nemona yelled out.
"If you're going to hurt someone, it will be me so give me your best shot." Ash says as Houndoom held no punches and shot out a Fire Blast but before it could land, 'Jimmy' ran past them and through the Fire Blast taking the hit but it didn't seem bothered by it as 'Jimmy' appears in front of a now scared Houndoom.
"Rai." Jimmy said simply making the Houndoom go off without fighting anymore and hid behind some rocks, Ash could only look on with intrigue and awe as 'Jimmy' turned around and smirked towards Ash.
"Just what are you?" Ash said curiously as 'Jimmy' immediately grabs onto Ash, Quaxly and Sceptile and jumps on some nearby rocks all the way to where Nemona and the others were at however, Arven wasn't there.
"Ash! You're not hurt, are you?" Nemona asks as Ash puts his thumb up in agreement but not before Pikachu hops onto Ash with Ash hugging him back, "I'm aright buddy." Ash says in his typical cheerful way. Ash then thanks Sceptile and Quaxly and returns them to their Pokeballs before nodding to them.
The gang then puts their attention on 'Jimmy' who as looking at the lighthouse from the distance and gulped as if they know something happened and they're not ready for what's about to come and yet, 'Jimmy' decided to walk there anyway before falling to the ground with a glow to their body appearing and 'Jimmy' appeared to be injured. Ash and the gang notice this and runs to them.
"Are you alright!?" Ash says worried as Arven comes out from nearby with his Sneasel but Arven appeared to have a cold glare on his face which the gang doesn't notice at first and so Arven goes to 'Jimmy'.
"Ash, you're not hurt, are you?" Arven says out of concern as Ash nods, "Are you alright?" Ash asks Arven who puts up a fake smile and looks to Jimmy.
"I'm fine. Sneasel, prepare a Swords Dance and prepare to use Brick Break." Arven says as Sneasel got confused but prepared to do so anyway which catches the gang off guard as they never saw Arven act coldly before other than for casual talk.
"Arven, what're you doing." Penny says concerned, "I'm putting that 'thing' out of its misery." Arven said coldly causing the group to be shocked, but 'Jimmy' looks on not with retaliation but with defeat knowing they did something regretful and accepted their fate.
"But it's a Pokemon and saved Ash, what could it have done that caused you to act like this!?" Penny continues as Arven points to 'Jimmy' coldly, it's when Ash realizes something that Arven said the other day, about a Pokemon that hurt his Mabosstiff.
"Don't tell me that-" Ash didn't even need to finish as Arven nods, "That thing you refer to as a Pokemon is the same one who caused my Mabosstiff so much pain to this day and is one of two monstrosities that dad came up with that took my whole life away and why I resent dad in the first place."
The gang look on shocked but Ash out of confidence stood in front of 'Jimmy' defending him while 'Jimmy' looked on with surprise but didn't do anything, "Ash... Please get out of the way." Arven says not wanting to hurt his little buddy.
"I won't let you; I get being angry over someone who hurt your friend, but revenge won't do you any good. Do you really want to go down this path fully resenting these 'Paradoxes'. While I don't get the full picture, I do see that they regret their actions in their expression and so I ask again, do you want to really go down this path?" Ash asks defending the Pokemon while Arven looks on conflicted with himself.
"I-I-I" Arven stuttered as he's not sure himself, "If you're going to hurt Koraidon, then you'll have to get past me first." Ash says with confidence.
"Koraidon!?" Nemona and Penny say.
"The Winged King." a female voice was heard, and the gang turn their attention to a woman in a lab coat and clothing that resembled something that a cavewoman would wear and resembled Arven in terms of hair and facial appearance.
"No way, you must be-"
"The professor who studies the past, Arven's mother, a huge fan of Champion Ash and Champion Pikachu, a one of the discoverers of Paradox Pokemon and the one who was partially involved in Koraidon's arrival. I'm Professor Sada Spruce-Regalo and I'll be the one who explains history."

Another chapter done, sorry for the short length but I have some stuff to do this week and so I thought with the free time I had, I decided to write the first part of 2 of this turning point in a way. I'm sorry if some parts seem a bit short or rushed but I had very limited time but I promise the next chapter will be packed to the brim with plot and Arven development and soon enough, we'll be entering the Treasure Hunt once and for all after this and a filler chapter so be patient with me.
Other than that, I don't have too much to say but I'll see you in a bit with the meaty part 2.
