Hello one and all to another chapter of Pokemon SVTA where today, we will focus on the gang's attempt to integrate Koraidon within society but through these attempts, they make Ash's Cyclizar feel useless compared to Koraidon and starts to feel jealous and now it's up to Ash to make up with Cyclizar. Meanwhile, Team Rocket (without Meowth due to splitting up the last time) seek to capture Cyclizar in hopes of making it into a Koraidon or Miraidon for the sake of having their own Paradox Pokemon.
Don't have too much to say, let's get started.
Cover Story 14: Ingo and Emmet: lost to time 1: Separation. (Set 2 months before Ash went to Naranja.)
Ingo and Emmet are a pair of unique brothers that run the battle train in Unova, they're quite popular within their home region with admiration amongst many including Cilan the connoisseur. To them, battling is everything and they have each other and nothing could ruin that until one day, things changed.
Emmet woke up one morning to have breakfast amongst his Pokemon and his brother and his Pokemon but was immediately alerted by Ingo's Excadrill and Haxorus that Ingo and his Chandelure went missing but he reassures them that he's likely gone shopping at their go-to supermarket and will search for them there. Upon arriving however, he is told that Ingo was never there which creates a panic within Emmet. He calls his stations and tells them they're in charge for a while until he can find Ingo.
He searches everywhere in Nimbasa city from the stadiums to restaurants before eventually going to the gym of he and Ingo's childhood friend Elesa who hasn't seen them. Emmet thanks her and prepares to leave but she says she's coming along since she always had to keep Emmet and Ingo still and patient when they were kids and she's not going to let those two go again and Emmet appreciates it despite some stubbornness from Emmett.
Meanwhile, we see Ingo lying on the ground of grassy field with 3 individuals with two having grey uniforms with a pink symbol on it and a young woman who had blonde hair, blue eyes and a red kimono like clothing and grey shorts concerned for Ingo. Ingo gets up all groggily and not seeming to remember much but mumbles something about 'guiding a kid in Hisui' before facing the girl and the two uniformed individuals.
The girl asks if Ingo is ok to which Ingo nods and mentions where he is, the girl mentions that this is the Hisui region which Ingo doesn't seem to know about only mentioning that his hurts and that he was sleeping until he woke up in a black void consisting of a godly figure. The girl mentions that it could be the legend of the 'Almighty Sinnoh', a being said to control space and believed to have created Hisui but Ingo shook his head saying the individual looked whiter with a particular light and yellow ring though it could be his imagination.
One of the individuals asks if he owns a Pokemon that resembles a chandelier, which is when Ingo's head starts to hurt with him getting memories of a younger Ingo receiving a Litwick as his first Pokemon. The girl asks if he's alright to which Ingo nods and asks where this Pokemon is and the girl exclaims they're nearby seemingly panicked, angry and scared and Ingo asks to take him to him. Ingo introduces himself and the girl introduces herself as Irida of the Pearl Clan and they head off with Ingo accidently dropping a watch and a nametag.
In the present, we see Emmett and Elesa putting out a missing person report for Ingo which is when he recieves a call from Cynthia who explains that she might've found evidence as to Ingo's location in Sinnoh however, the evidence appears to be old and from the past saying there could be involvement revolving around the Sinnoh legendaries. Despite this, Emmett accepts help and asks where they want to meet Cynthia at.

Cover Story 15: Road to reunion 1: Practice makes perfect Part 1
Serena was one of Ash's companions in the Kalos region and throughout these adventures, she's had a crush on Ash, been through ups and downs through her career as a Pokemon Performer and yet, she grew as a friend, performer and trainer. Ever since Ash left, she's been focusing on her training and performances throughout the world such as in Hoenn, Galar, Johto and more. During one of her performances, her Braixen evolved into Delphox and caught some Pokemon of her own such as Audino, Sobble and a Flaffy for future performances.
She always seemed to feel upset to not have reunited with Ash despite seeing him briefly in Lilycove city but hoped one day of seeing again. In the meanwhile, however, she has encountered two former companions of Ash those being May who was participating in a Performance X Contest alongside Serena and Max who came to watch. She, May and Max cheered on Ash during the master's 8 and his eventual victory and afterwards, her and May decided to keep in contact with each other.
It was around a couple of weeks later when she gets an invitation to a tournament revolving around combination battles in Porto Estalar in Paldea, this tournament was known as 'Duo World' and the winning duo get to participate to be the final challenge towards trainers in an actual championship in Levincia revolving around these battles. This peaks Serena's interest and calls up May and sees if she's interested having token an interest in Contest battles after teaming with May. May agrees and they decide to meet at Porto Estalar to practice for the tournament and so, Serena heads off to Porto Estalar to practice.
May and Max were similar, they traveled around with Ash following May's bike being ruined but over her and her brother's journey through Hoenn, she's come to appreciate Ash as a friend. Max was an annoying kid, but he kept the group up to date on new info and hoped one day, he could be a trainer like Ash, his sister and Brock and fortunatly with recent laws, he was allowed to become a trainer at 9 and a half with his birthday coming up choosing Mudkip as his starter.
After May and Max left, May went on her own adventures through being a Pokemon Coordinator preforming Contest battles and even taking an interest in Pokemon Performances during one of her adventures in Kalos. Max on the otherhand stayed home and trained to become a trainer though later went along with May to get out of the house on more adventures. May has caught some Pokemon in her adventures the last she saw Ash in Sinnoh such as Whimsicott, Reuniclus, Slurpuff and Vikavolt while Max currently had Marshtomp, Vibrava, Slakoth and Helioptile during his adventures with May.
Since then, May has been in contact with Serena over conversations such as with May's contests and Serena's performances and so when Serena mentioned the idea of teaming up, May agreed and she and Max (who wanted to get out of the house for a while) go to Porto Estalar in Paldea to practice.

Main Story
It was another beautiful day in the Paldea and we see Ash waking up in his bed having just returned to Mesagoza after catching Koraidon. We see Ash's Pokemon sleeping beside each other with Cyclizar trying to sleep perfectly only for that to be interrupted by Koraidon's foot all up his face ruining his sleep.
"Zar Zar." Cyclizar said groggily as he tries to sleep in a different position, but the same thing happens but this time, Koraidon lightly chews on Cyclizar's leg. Cyclizar then gets up and tries to sleep near the bathroom which Sceptile took notice of but just as he was about to sleep, Ash wakes up and everyone else wakes up and Cyclizar's sleep is now ruined as he gets up.
"Morning everyone." Ash says as his Pokemon cried out their name happily, Ash gets off his bed and pets Koraidon who smiles happily.
"Morning Koraidon." Ash says as Koraidon gets up, but Ash tells him to slow down, "Alright calm down Koraidon, we don't want anyone else knowing much about you for now. I think for today, we'll get you settled into present day life by trying out Pokemon food and then we'll figure out what to do from there." Ash says as Koraidon nods as Ash got the Pokemon food for everyone and Cyclizar sighs before proceeding to go to his bowl.
Just as Ash was pouring in the food in for everyone, a knock on the door was heard causing everyone to panic and Ash to look around his room.
"Master Ash, are you there?" a deep voice was heard, "Just one second!" Ash says searching for the Pokeball.
"Ok, we're going to try something unconventional." Ash says grabbing a nearby lamp shade and placed in on Koraidon's head shushing them to which they nod. Ash goes to the door to see that it's Saguaro.
"Oh, good morning, Mr. Saguaro. Is something the matter?" Ash asks out of concern as Saguaro shakes his head, "No, nothing too worrying. I needed to see that nothing happened to you." Saguaro says confusing Ash a bit.
"What do you mean by that Mr. Saguaro?" Ash asks, "The other day before you left, I got a call from my father saying you were targeted in Unova by the Shadow Triad and wanted to see if you were ok." Saguaro continued.
"The Shadow Triad?" Ash asked, "I'm sure you've been through Unova before?"
Ash nods, "Then I'm sure you've encountered Drayden at a certain point."
"Drayden's your father!?" Ash says as Saguaro nods, "Yep, facial hair, stern look and a pair of Talonflame pupils and all. Anyway, they've worked with a villainous group called Team Plasma but left a while later. Apparently, they've targeted you and a chef and so Drayden called me upon hearing about your location to see if you were safe and you are."
"Does he need my hel-" Ash was stopped by Saguaro, "No, he wants you to stay and study. Actually, a certain friend of yours left a message for you." Saguaro says handing him his phone which played a voicemail.
"This thing on? Alright, Ash if you're reading this then I have two things to tell you: First, Congratulations on being the World Champion! Secondly, You're a little kid."
"Iris? Never change Iris, never change." Ash says happily as the voicemail continued, "If you're hearing this now then I want to make sure I inform you to stay at Mesagoza and not worry about me! I know we've went on many adventures and stopped an evil organization together. But this time, I don't want you to get hurt from these guys because you came out here to help me. Instead, I want you to stay and enjoy school to the fullest, leave this to me and this also applies to Cilan if he's reading this somewhere. Anyway, have fun at Mesagoza Ash and stay safe, I hope we can battle again in the future. Bye kid!"
"Didn't think you had a soft side, Iris." Ash says smiling as he gave back the phone to Saguaro, "As that voicemail said, I want you to stay safe during your school life and your Treasure Hunt. The Treasure Hunt can get scary at times, and I don't want to lose any other students." Saguaro said with the last part said quietly.
"Yes sir!" Ash said feeling stiff but Saguaro laughs, "Don't be afraid my lad, have fun and enjoy the journey." Saguaro says patting Ash on the shoulder as Saguaro turns to leave.
Ash sighs out of relief before he came back, "By the way, do you know where I can get that lamp stand?" Saguaro asks as Ash stiffens up again.
"Oh that, I found it- at an obscure pawn shop downtown called 'Inoportuno'." Ash says stiffly as Saguaro nods, "Alright thank you and enjoy your day." Saguaro says leaving as Ash shuts the door and briefs another sigh of relief along with the other Pokemon.
"Guess like we'll have to work hard on hiding you, Koraidon."
"Don!" Koraidon said in agreement.
We see Ash, Pikachu and Cyclizar sitting on a bench on the battlefield thinking about some stuff until he sees Nemona, Penny and Arven walking towards him and he waves out to them. We also see many students talking amongst themselves excited for the Treasure Hunt
"Ah good morning, guys." Ash says, "Morning." All 3 say as they stand around the bench.
"It feels surreal, everyone's preparing to go on their Treasure Hunt and everyone's going on their own journey. Have you guys been on the Treasure Hunt before?" Ash asks as the gang shook their heads except for Arven.
"Not me, I was too busy with Student Council stuff to really be doing anything and went through some stuff last year." Nemona says, "I transferred here right after the Treasure Hunt ended around two years ago and didn't participate last year." Penny says.
"I was never too interested until now, I did do it 2 years ago where my Treasure ended up being rare recipes, but I never ended up doing another one until...'the incident' 5 months ago." Arven mentions. The gang stood there for a moment until Ash asks another point.
"So, when does a Treasure Hunt usually end?"
"Well in truth, a Treasure Hunt doesn't have a definitive end date but more rather, everyone has their own time and their own end date on when their Treasure Hunt ends. But typically, around May is when everyone comes back and is when most Gyms are closed so typically around there." Nemona says informally.
"Well, it looks like you guys are prepared." A female voice was heard as the gang turn around to see Sarah, Dean and Verde (alongside her aide and Lycanroc) walking towards them (with Dean holding onto Verde's hand).
"Sarah, Dean, Verde! You're all prepared as well. Going as a group?" Ash says as the 3 nod, "Yep! We agreed to go together since our goals are in the right path. Plus, me and Sarah promised Verde we wouldn't leave her behind for this adventure." Dean said excitedly.
"So, you're aiming for the Gym Challenge by challenging the highest-grade gyms. Can you handle the heat?" Nemona says smirking as Sarah smirks as well, "Oh you know it, don't expect me to go easy on you when we battle!" Sarah said with excitement in her voice but seemingly confused Ash.
"Graded Gyms?" Ash asks as Nemona turns to the confused Champion, "In the Paldea region, you're free to take on the Gyms in any order. However, the Gyms are graded by how difficult they're which range from the highest Z-level all the way to D-level Gyms. However, if you prove yourself well during the low-level Gyms, the Gym Leaders themselves will raise the grade to provide an extra challenge and a different team than normal but you only have one shot at that increased grade or they go back to normal." Nemona informed her friend.
"Oh, so the lower the level, the less powerful their teams are but the higher the Gym Level, the more powerful and difficult their teams become." Ash asked as both Nemona a
"Precisely! Don't think you're getting away with battling me either Ash, I'm going to show you how much I improved since our last battle." Sarah says with determination as Ash nods before proceeding turns to Dean, "What about you Dean? Got a location in mind?"
"Yep, we decided to visit the 'Million Volt Skyline' in Levincia since it's along the way to where Sarah's first gym will be." Dean said as he showed the group a picture of 4 towers with a red moon in the background which awes the group.
"A blood moon?" Arven says surprised as Dean nods, "Yep, they say in this time of season, a red moon appears which can make a city like Levincia feel haunting and beutiful at the same time. So, I hope I can make it on time to see it! Plus, it would make a great piece for Verde's 'Around the Region picture' isn't it!?" Dean said happily.
"Around the region picture?" Ash asks as Verde nods and ushers her aid to grab a piece of paper from her folder and shows the group a pencil drawing of Mesagoza with the mountains of Area Zero and the Champion HQ in the distance in a beautiful pencil drawing which impresses the group.
"Verde, this is beautiful." Penny says genuinely as Verde blushes, "Thank you, I always wanted to draw all the cities, landscapes and features in one revolving picture so I decided that would be my Treasure Hunt. I've lost my eyesight when I was around 8 years old but the last vision, I had was seeing Mesagoza from Pathway Bridge and being marveled at its beauty so even though I'm blind, I want to work hard to draw the most perfect picture for everyone to marvel at while being a trainer without the presumptions of others!" Verde said with shy confidence.
"And I'm sure you'll do perfectly!" Penny said with encouragement as Verde blushes again, "Thanks. What about you Dux? There must be something you treasure right?" Verde said with a grin as Dux looks away.
"My treasure is guiding you Verde."
"C'mon there's more to that isn't there?" Verde said to her aide with a grin.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Dux says casually as the gang laugh it off until the speakers came on.
"Attention, if Ash Ketchum, Arven Regalo, Penny Flores and Nemona Banderas are in the building, please come to the headmaster's office immediately. I repeat, if Ash Ketchum, Arven Regalo, Penny Flores and Nemona Banderas are in the building, please come to the headmaster's office immediately."
This set fear within the 4 as they worry, they did something bad to upset Clavell.
"I wonder what we've done to upset Mr. Clavell?" Ash asked, "I'm not sure but there's no point delaying it if we don't know what will happen." Nemona says as the group agrees and the gang wave goodbye to Sarah's group and go off to Clavell's office.
The gang arrive to Clavell's office and stare down at the door nervously with Pikachu and Cyclizar holding each other for dear life, Sprigatito hiding in Penny's hoodie and Pawmo hiding behind Nemona's legs (Arven's Sneasel Morada was in her Pokeball). Before they all agree to take a deep breath.
"Alright, no matter what happens, we stick together." Ash says as the group agrees, and Ash opens the door to Clavell who seems to be looking at three shirts before putting them down to face the group.
"Mr. Clavell, are we trouble for something?" Penny asks as Clavell's face turns from calm to reassuring and said, "Not to worry you fou- err 8, you're not in trouble in the slightest. I actually wanted to ask you something?"
"Shoot away!" Arven said relieved as Clavell nods and holds up three shirts, but the gang appear to stare with a deadpan expression.
"I want to print out one of these shirts for shirt day and I want to ask which one fits well; the 'I have impeccable Drip' shirt, the 'You're a G.O.G.O.A.T' shirt and the 'My shirt is very *u*' shirt." (Trust me, it's better not to know what's behind those asterisks)
This causes the gang to feel cringed out and prepare to leave before Clavell panics.
"Wait come back! I'm sorry!" Clavell said worried as the gang turn back to a relieved Clavell.
"Keep the G.O.G.O.A.T shirt, save the 'Drip' shirt until 5 years later and burn the other one with a Houndoom's breath." Penny said rather deadpan as Clavell nods before proceeding to store the two shirts before placing the shirt underneath his desk.
"Alright thank you for that input. Now I just want to ask you, you have your Treasure Hunts planned out?" Clavell asked with a positive tone as the gang, although confused nod.
"That's good. What about you Pikachu, Cyclizar, Spirgatito and Pawmo? Ready to go travel with your trainers?" Clavell asks as the Pokemon cheered their names happily as Clavell softly smiles.
"That's great! What about you Koraidon." Clavell said as the gang stiffen up with shock and the room goes silent,
How does- ok, don't panic let's not act stupid now. Nemona thought to herself as she filled up the silence, "What's a Koraidon?" Nemona said as Penny facepalmed.
Not that stupid! Arven, Penny and even Nemona herself thought to themselves, Clavell only chuckles.
"Sorry about that, I love detective shows like Alolan detective Laki and old noir shows like Dragnet, so I just had to do things interrogation style and wanted to get a reaction out of you haha. Anyway, you're not in trouble I just want to affirm it's true. Ash, if you don't mind, could you send out Koraidon?" Clavell asks as Ash was hesitant but grabbed his Pokeball and sent out Koraidon surprising the oldster.
"So, it is true, he really brought a Pokemon from the past. It has the build of a Cyclizar but bigger, the strength of a Cyclizar but girthier." Clavell says admiring the Koraidon which gets Cyclizar in a jealous fit and huffs which Clavell took notice of.
"Mr. Clavell, if you don't mind me asking, how do you know about this?" Ash asked the eccentric headmaster who nods, "I think it's best to let Arven explain this next tidbit." Clavell mentions as Arven was surprised being on the spot but nods.
"My parents met each other as students/assistants of Clavell, they studied a lot about Pokemon biology and while he's no longer a professor-professor, he still gets in contact with my parents and has trained some students like his 'best friend' Jacq. He's also occasionally does some scientific research at times. Right Professor Hawthorn?" Arven said as Clavell slouches.
"Of course, you would use that name." Clavell said with slight disappointment.
"But wait, how could you know Koraidon was here?" Penny asks as Clavell grabbed a remote and pointed it towards the TV, "Let's ask the man himself." Clavell said turning on the TV as we see a man who has a similar facial structure as Arven but had a goatee and was wearing a purple cybernetic suit while wearing an apron containing a Toedscool in a high school uniform and a Gallade in a high school uniform singing while cooking breakfast.
"La da dee, la da daa." The man went on as everyone, but Clavell were cringed out and Arven felt like repulsing inside his head.
"Ah hem." Arven says getting the attention the man who looked on surprise and immediately turns off his stove and nervously smiles, "Oh everyone, I didn't expect you at the moment I'm sorry. How long did you see that?" Turo said nervously.
"Long enough to bleach my eyes but also, you're an Otaku and a fan of 'Toedscool's Romantic Melody'!?" Penny said excitedly as Turo nods, "I'm glad to have found a fellow Otaku with based takes."
Oh no not him/dad too! Arven, Ash, and Nemona thought to themselves as Clavell cleared his throat, "Ahem, perhaps you would like to introduce yourself to the people who aren't familiar with you or your source material Turo." Clavell mentions as Turo straightened himself up and coughed.
"Right, I apologize. My name is Turo Regalo and I'm a Pokemon professor who studies the future and what future could hold from evolution, natural evolution, alternate universes, among other things. I'm also Arven's father and as much as I want to shake your hands, I'm currently situated in Area Zero at the moment." Turo finished as Arven scoffs.
"More like 15 years." Arven says as Turo has a nervous sweat run down his face, "As you can see, me and Arven are on friendly terms." Turo says with a quirky tone as Arven scoffs. Turo then turns his attention towards Koraidon who notices the professor and gets happy.
"Hey there buddy! I see you made it out alright. Are your powers up and running?" Turo asks the group as the gang shook their heads and Arven stands forward, "No, mom examined them and found that their powers were lost and only has their natural strength to back them up." Arven says as Turo nods.
"Ah, I see. So might I ask who found Koraidon in the first place?" Turo asks as Arven steps to his side to show Ash and Pikachu, "They're Koraidon's new trainer." Arven mentions as Turo examines him before smiling.
"You must be Ash Ketchum, right? This, is, AMAZING! I never thought that a 3-time champion would be taking care of my Pokemon! Hahaa, I have a feeling that you'll be great as Koraidon's trailer!" Turo said happily as Ash and Pikachu looked on confused.
"Your dad is rather eccentric." Ash mentioned, "Yeah, he gets that a lot." Arven says.
Turo stops before focusing once more, "Sorry about that."
"So, dad, what happened down there alongside your wretched machine that caused Koraidon to be here." Arven said sternly as Turo looks on nervously, "So you found out, didn't you?"
"I was bound to."
Turo sighed before getting on with his speech, "Right. Prior and after you left Area Zero for the last time, Koraidon and its futuristic counterpart Miraidon were at odds with each other. The two were summoned from my machine in hopes of studying what Pokemon went through in the past and the future respectively, the kind-hearted Koraidon wanted to protect the Pokemon of Area Zero feeling progression wouldn't go on without bonds while Miraidon was cold and brutal feeling that other Pokemon would get in the way. The two clashed with one another before eventually wanting to experience the outside world, so I sent Koraidon to your home in order for them to live peacefully but from what you told me, wild Pokemon and poachers got in the way, and you sent them back."
"So, all you wanted was just to see the world?" Nemona asks Koraidon who shrugs.
"After that, it noticed how Miraidon had ruled the other Pokemon under an iron fist and seeked to stop this from happening. But then that day arrived when you stayed over for that break and of course, the incident occurred. Arven, I'm very so-"
"I'd rather hear the details of why Koraidon was here and how we can restore him than hear your half-hearted excuse." Arven said rather not in the mood which took Clavell and Turo by surprise and looked a bit sad but went on.
"Arvy, right. 5 months later, Koraidon decided to leave Area Zero tired of the conditions they and their companions lived under and fought to escape via the monthly air gust which as you know, was a success. From what happened with Mabosstiff, you're seeking out the Herba Mystica to restore him right?"
Arven nods, "Then I feel like their power can be restored using said herbs." Turo mentions as Arven sighs.
"So, you want us to go search for these herbs because you think that will heal Koraidon, yes?" Arven asks, "Well, the Herba Mystica is said to restore functions of your body and so I see a possibility of this working with both Koraidon and Mabosstiff." Turo says as Arven sighs before he looks to Koraidon.
"Alright I'll do it, but only for helping Koraidon get their powers back." Arven says as Turo nodded nonchalantly.
"Duley noted. Now tell me this." Turo said in a more serious tone as everyone listened, "Who're dating, Arvy my boy?" Turo continued as everyone groaned.
"Not the time!" Arven says as Turo laughs, "Sorry, what's your plan for the rest of the day?" Turo continued as Ash stood forward.
"Well, I hope to have Koraidon get integrated into society at Market Square and eventually the Pokemon at the Vast Beyond, so that Koraidon would feel more at ease." Ash says surprising the group (except Turo who positively nodded) including Clavell, "Wait you want to have Koraidon be in public!?" Clavell says shocked.
"Koraidon needs to get adjusted in their new life and I thought this was the way." Ash says as Clavell then straightens himself out, "I get your purpose, but how are you supposed to explain the idea of an 8 ft tall lookalike of Cyclizar that the public hasn't seen before?" Clavell says causing Ash to think to himself for a moment before Turo chimes in.
"If I may intervene, I have a suggestion in mind. Why not unofficially become my assistants? Me and Sada's names are recognizable to the public enough that a 'project' like this could be reasonable plus Ash's status."
Koraidon growled at Turo for that name before Turo chimes in once again, "Err, I mean celebrity." Koraidon hummed positively at that name.
"Become your assistants?" Nemona asks as a nearby machine prints out 5 tags surprising the group, Clavell goes to them and grabs them, "You printed out their names on these name tags as 'assistants' and in a quick amount of time too." Clavell mentioned as Turo rubs the back of his head.
"I work fast." he says as Clavell gave the group their tags but Penny stares at hers with a deadpan expression.
"My name isn't Panini." Penny said disappointed as Turo rubs the back of his head casually, "Sorry, the audio from Koraidon's camera messes up at times."
"Camera?" Both Clavell and Penny said as a small drone popped out of Koraidon's loose scale surprising the group, "Like it? I named them Jim." Turo said enthusiastically as the group looked on with no words.
"So that's how you were able to find out that Koraidon got out. You better not spy on us writing in our diaries!" Arven says as Turo nods, "Not to worry, it turns off at 8:00." Turo says as Clavell looks on at his students and Koraidon and nods.
Clavell sighs before wiping his classes, "Well, I guess it can work but I'll make myself clear right away. If Koraidon were to hurt anyone intentionally, I'm sending them back to Area Zero and I'm grabbing Turo out of there. Do I make myself clear." Clavell says sternly causing everyone (including Koraidon and Turo) to straighten up.
"Yes sir/Don/Chu/Sprig/Paw!" everyone said in accordance, as Clavell nods, "Good, now as 'assistants' to Turo, we need to make sure Koraidon is calm and sophisticated and just to make sure things don't go array, I'm coming with."
"Now that everything's settled, I think I'm going to get back to work. Sayonara." Turo says as Arven tried to reach out to him.
That damn professor. Arven thought to himself angrily.
"Well, I guess we should get to work then. If we're going to have Koraidon introduced properly, let's try the Market Square, so let's return Koraidon to their Pokeball and get going." Clavell says as Ash nods but before he could get out his Pokeball, Jacq walked in holding a bag.
"Clarence, I got the muffins you order-" Jacq stopped upon seeing Koraidon and immediately fainted on the spot as the gang go to him out of concern but Arven had one thing on his mind.
"Clarence 'Clavell' Hawthorn?" Arven asks as Clavell looked down in shame, "My parents loved me, but they were horrible with names." Clavell said sadly.
Meanwhile outside, we see Jessie, Wobbuffet and James in disguise as the building's-colored bricks and having some tech with them but Meowth was strangely not there.
"Hmm, so not only is there a Koraidon but a Miraidon as well. I'd say we catch Koraidon while we're at the Vast Beyond alongside Pikachu!" James said with excitement, but Jessie had a different idea, "No, after yesterday, we shouldn't focus on Koraidon today. Instead, let's focus on Cyclizar!" Jessie said with excitement in her voice but confusing James and Wobbuffet.
"How so?" James asks as Jessie stares at him deadpan, "Well if you couldn't tell, Koraidon and Miraidon are the respective ancestor and descendant of Cyclizar. If we capture Cyclizar, we can force it to transform into Koraidon and Miraidon and we'll have our own powerhouse!" Jessie says with Wobbuffet and James finally getting the picture.
"Oh, now I get it. But shouldn't we also be finding Meowth as well?" James says as Jessie scoffs, "He has a locator device, I'm sure he can find us easily."
We switch over to Meowth who has spent the night in a bush following his blast off from yesterday, he also seems to be wearing a bush and wakes up all groggily like.
"Where am I?" Meowth asks as he searches around a sees Mesagoza in the distance, "Ahh there we go, Mesagoza. Now all I need to do is get out of this- hey what's going on over there?" Meowth says stopping himself upon seeing a Seviper and Zangoose looking around before staring at each other seemingly in a fierce way.
"A Zangoose and a Seviper. They're mortal enemies, maybe I should have one peak." Meowth says prepared to watch the 'fight' go down as both rushed at each other, Seviper wrapped around Zangoose and... looked at each other romantically confusing Meowth.
"Wha- they're in love!?" Meowth says as he suddenly trips over getting the attention of the two who looked at Meowth furiously, "Uhh, hello there. Sorry to intrude, I never seen a Seviper and Zangoose fall in love before because I thought they're mortal enemies you see haha. It's kind of like Romeo and Juliet, you're Zaneo Montegoose and Sevipiet capulet hehe." Meowth says nervously as they prepared to attck Meowth but he stops them.
"WAIT! Could you blast me off towards Mesagoza?" Meowth said politely as the Zangoose and Seviper looked at each other confusingly before nodding and sent Meowth off with their attacks.
"Thank you!" Meowth says disappearing in the sky with a twinkle before Zangoose and Seviper looked at each other romantically once again.
We see the gang head through Mesagoza with Koraidon by their side with the onlookers looking on quite surprised, but Cyclizar looks on with jealousy towards the crowd's comments. We also see TR spying on them through the alleyway while Meowth was on the rooftops unaware of his teammates.
"Is that a Cyclizar?"
"But it's more muscular, red and larger than a Cyclizar."
"A mutation?"
"So far so good, Koraidon. Just keep calm and we can make it through." Ash says to Koraidon who nods nervously as Harold and Charcadet walk by surprise and for Charcadet, excitement. "Oh my, a large Cyclizar my boy?" Harold asks Ash but the gang shook their heads.
"Kind of, they're a Pokemon called Koraidon who resembles a Cyclizar." Ash says as Clavell stood forward, "Yes, in truth, we're working with my old student Turo to have Koraidon adapt to this new environment and society at hand."
"Ah Turo, I taught him everything he needed to know about the outside world alongside his future wife Sada." Harold said with a look of fondness on his face as Arven got intrigued, "You were my parents' teacher?" Arven asks as Harold nodded.
"Yep, I taught them everything they needed to know... on how to make a sandwich." Harold said disappoint the group, "You don't mind if I feel Koraidon and Cyclizar now?" Harold asks.
"Not a problem, just be careful, Koraidon's not used to this and Cyclizar's being a bit stubborn today." Ash says as Cyclizar scoffs and looks away while Harold feels Cyclizar's muscles and nods slightly before feeling Koraidon's muscles, "Ah yes, Cyclizar is as strong as ever, but Koraidon surpasses that strength even more." Harold says making Cyclizar look away angrily as Clavell and even Meowth looks on with concern.
Poor Cyclizar, I should be focusing on reuniting with Jessie and James and yet, Cyclizar looks down on his luck. Meowth thought to himself.
We see two children and a teen around Arven's age catching up to them huffing with her out of breath.
"Don't just run off on your own!" the girl said huffing as the children puffed up their cheeks, "But we want to see the cool Cyclizar!" both children say getting Cyclizar's attention.
"Sorry about them, they saw the large red Cyclizar and got their hopes up to ride the red Cyclizar. C'mon you two." the teen said making Cyclizar disappointed once more as Ash thought about it.
"Say Koraidon, how would you feel about people riding on you?" Ash asked as Koraidon nods and lowers themselves, "Really!" both children say excitedly as Ash nods and kneels down, "Yes but you have to ask your sister first alright?" Ash says as the children nod and turn to their sister.
"Oh alright, but you got to be careful."
"Ok!"
Ash and Arven help the children up on Koraidon's back and proceeded to move slowly, "Wow, this is awesome!" the children say as Koraidon slowly moved while Ash and Clavell were on both sides of Koraidon to make sure both Koraidon was stable and that the children don't fall.
Cyclizar on the other hand looked on and scoffed, Koraidon eventually returned to where the gang was at calm and sophisticated as they lower themselves down to let the children off.
"Now how was the ride?" Ash asks as the children looked on ecstatically, "It was amazing!" the children say as they went to their sister who shakes the back of her head.
"Well, they've certainly calmed down. Thank you for letting them ride on that mysterious large Cyclizar." the girl said with an honest smile as Ash nods. As soon as the girl and her siblings leave, more people start to go to Koraidon wanting to know more about it, where they can find it and if they can ride it which the gang had to clarify a lot of things but allowed people to ride on Koraidon. Cyclizar just wanted the day to end whole TR were reading a comic book and Meowth looked on with sympathy over Cyclizar.
We see the gang walk through the Vast Beyond trying to find a certain location Nemona told them about as Penny was curious about something.
"Say Ash, what are we doing out here at the Vast Beyond?" Penny asked, "Since Koraidon did so well with people, I figured that Pokemon would be next since Koraidon has protected Pokemon back at Aera Zero."
"I can get that, but Koraidon went back for attacking random Pokemon. So what makes you think it will work this time?" Arven asks as Ash looks to the regretful Koraidon and nods, "I can sense it within him." Ash says as Arven looks on confused.
"Sense it?" Arven says, "You'll understand once you go through multiple regions encountering a Riolu/Lucario and channeling their energy once you catch a Riolu of your own." Ash says confusing Arven once more, "You're a Psychic type!?" Arven says as Penny face palms.
"He's talking about Aura, dummy." Penny mentions as Arven is surprised, "He has Aura?"
While they're talking, Cyclizar looks down to the ground sadly imagining to himself in Koraidon's place as cool and popular as Koraidon or Pikachu, but they don't seem to acknowledge him. Cyclizar remembers the first time he met Ash; he was very happy that he had a new trainer and that he was praised for battling and being a friend much like Ash's other Pokemon. But to Koraidon, he felt kind of useless compared to Koraidon who can accomplish the same tasks due to being similar in structure.
"Zar." Cyclizar said sadly as he walked along before the gang all heard a cry for help, "Leo!" the gang heard in the distance.
"What was that!?" Nemona asked, "Let's check." Clavell says as the gang nod and head over to a nearby Litleo who seemed to be lost and scared.
"It's a Litleo." Ash says, "I think I recognize this Litleo, he's from the pack where I met Teddiursa and Fuecoco. They're not too far from here." Nemona mentions as Cyclizar sees an opportunity and goes to him.
"Zar?" Cylizar asks the Litleo who nods and gets on the back of Cyclizar and Ash looks on marveled, "That's nice of you Cyclizar!" Ash said positively as Cyclizar stood there with honor and looked at Koraidon who was looking at a tree of various berries, Cyclizar shrugged and went along with the group to search for this group of Pokemon.
A little while later, they find the group of Pokemon with a female Pyroar waiting for them. The Litleo jumps from Cyclizar and runs over to his mother who nudges him, the Pyroar then goes to nod at Cyclizar as a thanks with Cyclizar proceeding to blush before turning to the group and goes to Nemona happily as Nemona pets her fur.
"Hey there, been a while hasn't it." Nemona said happily as Fuecoco and Teddiursa appear from their Pokeballs to reunite with their friends. "I'm surprised that you made friends with these sorts of Pokemon, miss Nemona." Clavell said casually as the gang then looked around to find that Koraidon wasn't with them as panic ensued.
"Koraidon where did you go?" Ash said worryingly as the gang see Koraidon return to the group holding a bunch of berries in their arms causing Ash to cross his arms disappointingly, "Put em down, Koraidon." Ash said as Koraidon sighed and dropped the berries. This catches the attention of the group of various Pokemon as they go to the huge number of berries and eventually marvel at the huge size and structure of Koraidon.
"But I guess that worked, let's see how this turns out." Arven says as the gang agrees and proceed to interact with the Pokemon as Cyclizar stood there awestruck about how the whole day went down and how Koraidon outdid Cyclizar in every way possible.
Cyclizar had a tear drop down his eye before seeing how they're all distracted and proceeds to sneak away while before running off sadly. Meowth (still with the bush wig) looked on sadly as Cyclizar ran off.
Oh Cyclizar. Meowth thought to himself sadly as Meowth went off in search of Cyclizar while TR were in the distance smirking.
We see Cyclizar walking down the road sad and alone, Meowth appears in front of him with a concerned look on his face.
"Hey there Koraidon." Meowth said getting Cyclizar's attention before Cyclizar quickly growled at him causing Meowth to shiver, "Wait wait wait! I'm not your enemy today, I promise!" Meowth said as Cyclizar looked on skeptically, but Meowth looks on with reassurance.
"Not to worry, I maybe some bad guy but I'm willing to listen to your problems." Meowth says as Cyclizar nodded suspiciously and went along with Meowth. "So, tell me, why do you feel down today?" Meowth asks.
"Zar Zarr Za Zr Cyc! (Well throughout the day, I feel like I've been overshadowed by Koraidon. They're from the same family as me but much stronger and more popular now and I'm just nothing to them!)" Cyclizar said angrily as Meowth nods.
"Yeah, I feel ya. It's not exactly easy living under someone else's shadow. I try to think of new ways to impress my boss so that Persian can bow down to me, but I have a feeling that might never happen." Meowth says as Cyclizar kept mumbling.
"Zar Cyc Cyc Cyc Cyc Zar! (They're everything I wanted to be but does it better. What's the point to me being here!? If I were to say disappear to a faraway region, do you think they'll care or care more about my successor!?)"
"Now don't say that! I'm sure Ash and co care about you the same way as Ash's other Pokemon. Did you always wanted to be a part of Ash's in the first place?" Meowth asks the Mount Pokemon who looks more conflicted with himself but nods.
"Zar Cyc Cyclizar. (Of course, I wanted to be a part of his team. I may have not been caught by him but after being saved by a Dragon Tamer from starvation and hearing about Ash and Pikachu, I trained and trained until the Dragon trainer asked if I wanted to be with Ash.)"
Meowth looks on with sympathy and thinks to himself for a moment before speaking up, "I have to ask, do you hate Ash for everything that happened today?"
Cyclizar looked conflicted at Meowth's question, "Zar- (I d-"
Cyclizar couldn't finish as a net coming down at Mach speed was coming down and Cyclizar noticed causing Cyclizar to push Meowth into a bush to be caught instead. The net was tight and left little room for flexibility.
"Zar!" Cyclizar said angrily as he tried to use Breaking Swipe, Quick Attack, Rapid Spin, anything to get out of the net which is when the net shocks the Pokemon as Cyclizar angrily looks up to see a smirking TR (other than Meowth who's still in a bush) walking down from their balloon.
"Well, well, well, that was easy." Jessie says holding on to the net, "Zar!" Cyclizar hissed as Jessie wagged her finger.
"Don't even try it not unless you want us to capture Koraidon and Pikachu as cellmates." Jessie says as Cyclizar immediately shuts up, Cyclizar felt angry over Koraidon but he knew that Koraidon was important, and that Pikachu was a target for Team Rocket and knew he didn't want that to happen.
"Good, now with no interruptions, we need your help to turn into Miraidon so we can give you to the boss, alright?" Jessie says as Cyclizar growls again as James flicked the button on his remote creating an electrical shock towards Cyclizar.
"Repeat that Cyclizar?" Jessie says smirking as Cyclizar looks away gritting his teeth, "And we're off!" Jessie says as they get on the balloon and fly off to somewhere else. Meowth gets up from the bush and notices Cyclizar being taken away to somewhere else and seeked to help him out by going in his direction, Meowth changed his mind and decided to go where Ash and the others were at.
Unbknowest to everyone, Cyclizar's body was starting to generate electricity on its own but not even Cyclizar noticed this.
We see the gang having fun with Koraidon letting smaller Pokemon ride on Koraidon while the gang's Pokemon interacted with each other and Arven cooked lunch for the group.
"Well, I think we chalk up this adventure as a success, don't you think Ash?" Clavell asked but Ash looked more distracted than anything, "Ash?" Clavell asked once more as Ash awakens from his distraction.
"Oh sorry, I just feel distracted all of a sudden." Ash says as Clavell looked on with a bit of worry, "How so, my boy?" Clavell asked.
"Well, I felt like I did something to upset Cyclizar today. He felt a bit snappy and looked to be mad at Koraidon for some reason, maybe I wasn't giving everyone proper attention today and that's why he's a bit mad." Ash said as Clavell looked to him and thought to himself before turning to Ash.
"Master Ash, if I had to chime in for a moment, I want to believe that Cyclizar isn't angry at you because of attention but more rather, he's jealous." Clavell said causing Ash to be confused.
"Jealous, I didn't do anything to make him jealous." Ash said as Clavell shook his head and said, "Not you in particular but more so Koraidon. Koraidon is Cyclizar's ancestor and looks to be more powerful compared to Cyclizar's decent strength and has a larger physique compared to Cyclizar. He likely got jealous because Koraidon was essentially him but more burley in a way."
This causes Ash to open his eyes in realization a bit and appeared to have regret in his eyes, "Cyclizar was jealous towards Koraidon and I just assumed something else was going on Cyclizar today. Alright, I think Cyclizar deserves the attention he deserves. Come here Cyclizar-" Ash stops himself upon seeing Cyclizar wasn't there which creates panic within Ash.
"Cyclizar, this isn't funny. C'mon out!" Ash said worryingly but he wasn't showing up getting the group's attention, "Ash what's up?" Nemona asks as Ash turns to them worryingly.
"I think Cyclizar ran off because of me."
"Now you get the picture." A voice was heard as the gang turn to that voice revealing to be Meowth as the gang prepare themselves for trouble, "Meowth, what are you doing here!?" Ash said as Meowth put his hand up to stop them.
"Relax, I'm not here for evil today. I'm here to tell you that you drove Cyclizar away and now he's captured by my team." Meowth said as Ash looks on shocked, "And before you say anything, I'm not aware of their plans other than me hearing that they're aiming to transform Cyclizar into this Miraidon fellow." Meowth says shocking the gang once more.
"They want force them to transform Cyclizar into Miraidon!?" Arven said, "That's the jist from what I heard, but I guess you don't care in particular." Meowth said with a grin as Ash appeared to be angry.
"What's that supposed to mean!?" Ash says before Meowth's grin turned to a frown, "It means you drove him away so that your Koraidon could replace him." Meowth said as Ash looks on shock.
"I never drove him away; I care for him!" Ash yelled out as Meowth turns to him, "Oh yeah, well from what Cyclizar told me, you made him feel like he was inferior to Koraidon and felt like he wasn't needed when a new, stronger variation of Cyclizar arrived."
Ash then freezes up and looks regretful and Meowth continues, "If that wasn't bad enough, Cyclizar's being hurt by electrical webs all alone-"
"Where is he?" Ash asks sternly towards Meowth who looked shocked, "Oh now you care, I bet you're just going to release him when you get back." Meowth said smirking making Ash angrier.
"That's not true! I'm going to get him back and make him feel welcome once more like how I met him. So where is he!?" Ash says angrily as Meowth sighs, "While I don't know their exact location, I did see their balloon go that way." Meowth says pointing north and Ash nods.
"Alright Koraidon and Pikachu, let's go find him!" Ash says as Koraidon nods and allows Ash and Pikachu to get on their back and ride off, the gang turn to each other and nod.
"Right! Let's go help Ash out!" Nemona says as the gang nod and they all split up with Clavell sending out Braviary to search the skies but before he leaves, he goes to Meowth.
"Meowth, were all those words you said to Ash-"
"To get him toughen up and ready to help, I have no idea what you're talking about." Meowth finishes for Clavell as he walks towards the direction of Mesagoza before immedietly stopping huffing.
"Actually, could you blast me off towards Mesagoza, I realized how far that is for me in terms of being small and I left my wallet at home for a taxi." Meowth says huffing as Clavell sighs, "Alright then, Air Slash let's go!" Clavell yells out towards his Braviary who launches air blades towards Meowth who's sent flying.
"THANK YOU!" Meowth yelled out before disappearing with a twinkle in the sky.
You're one strange Meowth.
We see Cyclizar in a machine conducting electricity as Jessie, James, Klawf and Wobbuffet watch on and James appears to be reading a copy of the Scarlet and Violet book, Cyclizar appeared to be in some sort of pain from the electricity. "Cycli-ZAR!" Cyclizar yelled trying to use Quick Attack to break out of the machine but to no avail. Jessie flicks the switch causing Cyclizar to be shocked once more.
"Just how long are you going to keep fighting for? Just transform already!" Jessie says frustratingly as James looks on with skepticism, "Um Jess? It might not be possible to turn Cyclizar into Miraidon and for that matter, Koraidon." James said as Jessie looks at him angrily.
"What do you mean by that!?" Jessie says as James shows Jessie a book of Cyclizar, "According to the Scarlet and Violet book, Koraidon most like evolved naturally to Cyclizar through the changing landscape and then was turned into a Miraidon through sci-fi business. Cyclizar can't evolve into these Pokemon."
"What! What a load of-"
"Jessie! The children are reading!"
"This story's rated T, I'm sure children are in bed by now and don't read these stories!"
"Some stay up you know!"
"I'm sure I'm allowed to say-"
As Jessie and James were arguing about the 4th wall, Cyclizar looked on with a deadpan look before proceeding to continue bashing the glass of the machine trying to get out all while electricity covered Cyclizar's scales.
"Oh no you don't!" Jessie says as Cyclizar was shocked, this electricity seemingly comes from the machine which seemed to be powering up the machine using Cyclizar's energy as Cyclizar fell to the ground exhausted.
"Zar Zar Cyc Za Za Zar Cycli-. (Ash, it looks like I might not be the same Cyclizar when we meet again in the future. I guess I never really got to tell you this after I ran away but I'm not mad you, I get what you were trying to do, and I just got jealous over you trying to help a fellow out. I guess this is the end my frie-)" before Cyclizar could finish, he sees Sceptile jumping off a nearby with his arms glowing.
"Sceptile Dual Chop the cords!" a voice ringed out to Cyclizar as Sceptile slashed at the cords connecting the machine causing the electricity produced to stop and allowed Cyclizar to get some breathing room in there.
"What the- the twerp."
We see Ash, Pikachu and Koraidon standing on a cliff, "Prepare for trouble if you know what's best for you!" Ash yelled out which caused both members of TR to get angry, "Hey! That's our line!" both Jessie and James say.
"Let go of my Pokemon now!" Ash yelled out as Jessie scoffs, "Seems to me that he wanted to be our Pokemon now so prepare for doom and gloom you twerp of doom!" Jessie says throwing out her Lechonk who's ready for battle and James sends out Grafaiai.
"Pikachu, Sceptile, you take care of them and me and Koraidon will try to get Cyclizar out." Ash says as both Pikachu and Koraidon nod as Pikachu went in to join Sceptile while Ash and Koraidon slid down the cliff to go to the machine. Ash places his hand on the glass which Cyclizar takes notice of but tries to ignore them.
"Cyclizar, I know you're still angry towards me and Koraidon and I won't blame you for it. But I wanted to apologize, I thought that your crankiness earlier was the result of not sleeping well or that's just your personality when I should've paid closer attention to your feelings. I know it sounds very half and half or sort of stereotypical but, I'm so sorry and let me get you out of there." Ash says as he gets up and proceeds to ram himself into the glass to try to break the glass getting the attention of Cyclizar and Koraidon.
Ash tries a couple more times with him running out of breath but seemingly not giving up, "Just stay there, *huff* Cyclizar, I'll get you out in no time." Ash says as he prepares to do the same thing again, but Koraidon joins him taking Ash by surprise. "Koraidon?" Ash said astonished as Koraidon looks to Ash and nods before looking to the glass and uses what strength they had to ram themselves on there.
Cyclizar sees Ash's determination and his genuine efforts to break him out which inspires Cyclizar and so he nods to himself, Cyclizar then looks to Koraidon with determination.
"Zar!" Cyclizar says to Koraidon who looks to Cyclizar for a second before nodding, Koraidon grabs Ash and hugs him tight as Ash wonders what's going on. Cyclizar shakes off the damage and charges himself up with electricity, the electricity is not hurting him this time but rather, is covering his body in a yellow light with light purple lines and blue sparks before he launches himself at the glass breaking it and surprising everyone.
"That was Wild Charge!" Ash says as Cyclizar appears besides his fellow Pokemon Pikachu and Sceptile who were tired out by that point, "What the- You escaped! James, do something!" Jessie says surprising James who nods.
"Yes mam! Grafaiai use Metronome!" James says as Grafaiai prepares to use Metronome but was stopped by Cyclizar's Taunt preventing it from casting Metronome causing Grafaiai to get angry. "Well if that doesn't work, we'll try this. Grafaiai use Slash!" "And Lechonk use Covet!" Jessie added on to which both Pokemon prepared to attack but Cyclizar was swift and used Breaking Swipe to send both back to their trainers.
"We won't let you escape! Klawf use Vice Grip!" James says but Klawf grabs him comedically, "Not me, him!" James says as Klawf puts him down and goes to the Pokemon as Ash gets back up.
"Alright Pikachu and Sceptile, use Iron Tail and Leaf Blade on the legs!" Ash yelled out as Pikachu and Sceptile nodded and attacked the legs causing him to fall onto TR, "Oh boy that's going to leave mark." Jessie says, "And my back/Graf!" both James and Grafaiai say together as they immediately shiver up upon seeing Koraidon and Cyclizar.
"Oh no!" both Jessie and James say as Koraidon appears to be glowing like before and Cyclizar charges up electricity, both Cyclizar and Koraidon fist bump before Cyclizar rushes towards them with Wild Charge while Koraidon appears to be using Fire Fang. Both attacks land sending TR flying in the air.
"So, I wonder what our old chum Meowth is doing right now?" James asks,
"You seem rather calm for someone who's blasting off." Jessie says
"I mean we have these conversations in the sky, what else is new?" James says as he immediately sees Grafaiai, Lechonk, Wobuffet and Klawf having a tea party, "I didn't mean that new though." James says.
"We're blasting off again!" both Jessie and James say as they disappear in the sky with a twinkle.
We see the group reunite with Ash as Koraidon's glow and Cyclizar's electricity disappear with Koraidon going back to being quadruped and Cyclizar feeling a bit wobbly before Ash goes to his side and holds him up.
"I got you, pal." Ash says as Cyclizar smiles and the gang look on with the mess, "Did Koraidon use a move and Cyclizar conducted electricity?" Penny asked as Ash nods.
"Pretty much. I'm assuming even though Koraidon doesn't have its abilities, I presume they can still partially use their moves but only at certain circumstances I'm assuming."
"That's correct!" Tim the drone says surprising the group before Arven pushes Tim back into the loose scale, "Stop spying on us randomly!" Arven says as Clavell steps forward. "For now, I'd say let's get Ash's Pokemon to the nearby Pokemon Center and we can continue from there. I'll call someone to clean up this mess."
The gang agree before they all head off, we see Rika and Poppy sitting on a rock spying on them from a distance.
"I'll admit, Ash's Pokemon are certainly unique to say the least. I can't wait to test his power and resolve soon enough." Rika says as Poppy gets up excitedly, "Poppy wants to challenge Ash first, please!?" Poppy asks in the third person as Rika nods.
"Of course, but at least let me challenge him when the time comes."
"Ok!"
We see the gang near the gates of Mesagoza preparing to go back but not before Ash and Pikachu prepare to have some sort of battle with Cyclizar and Koraidon watches from the sidelines.
"Is Cyclizar sure about this, didn't they make up already?" Nemona says as Clavell pushes up his glasses, "He's definite about this from what I see. He's not battling out of spite or hatred; he's battling to prove himself as a battler."
Cyclizar and Pikachu stretch before they battle, "If you're sure about this Cyclizar, then we'll grant your request right Pikachu!" "Pika!" both Ash and Pikachu say as Cyclizar smirks and taunts Pikachu (normally not the move).
"Alright Pikachu use Iron Tail!" Ash says as Pikachu's tail metalizes and rushes towards Cyclizar who's tail glows to use Breaking Swipe, both Pokemon's tails collide before they hop off each other.
"Impressive, the both of you!" Ash says as both Pikachu and Cyclizar smirk, "Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" Ash yelled out as Pikachu began charging up a Thunderbolt, but Cyclizar uses his tail to create a heavy dust of sand covering the battlefield surprising the group.
"No way!" Ash says as he and Pikachu try to find Cyclizar who appeared behind Pikachu, "Pikachu look out!" but it was too late as Cyclizar used Wild Charge to send Pikachu flying but thankfully lands on his feet.
"Zar." Cyclizar says confidently but appears to ache over the damage taken.
"What happened with Cyclizar?" Penny says surprised, "That was Wild Charge, a powerful Electric type move that comes at the cost of the user's energy. It's meant for risky scenarios like this." Clavell chimes in.
"Pika Pika!" Pikachu says confidently as Ash gets back in the swing of things, "Alright Pikachu, use Quick Attack!" Ash yelled out as Pikachu and Cyclizar clashed at each other with Quick Attack and Rapid Spin respectively as both jump back.
Cyclizar stomped on the ground to prepare himself for Wild Charge and rushes towards Pikachu, "Alright Pikachu, cover yourself in electricity and use 'Electrifying Quick Attack'!" Ash says as Pikachu nodded and covered itself in electricity before proceeding to rush at Cyclizar at full force as both clashed. A puff of smoke was seen as we see Pikachu and Cyclizar damaged and huffing as Ash sees this as an opportunity to stop.
"Alright and enough!" Ash says as Pikachu and Cyclizar rest on the ground before Cyclizar looks to Pikachu out of concern who nods out of being ok. "Cyclizar, I can tell you're already proven yourself as a mighty fine battler and capable of holding your own. I know after today, you're still kind of bitter but I promise you this, if you come back, I promise you won't feel left out or jealous anymore." Ash continues as he wasn't expecting Cyclizar to say anything after what happened today until Cyclizar smirks and put his fist on Ash's chest with confidence.
"Zar!" Cyclizar says confidently as Ash softly smiles with a tear running down his face, "Glad to have you back bud." Ash said with a soft smile as Cyclizar looks over to Koraidon and smirks.
"Zar zar!" Cyclizar says confidently as Koraidon also smirks and nods, "Don."
The gang seem happy at the outcome and Clavell could tell that they were all ready for tomorrow onward, "Well, I think I can chalk up today as a success and I see Koraidon as no threat to Paldea at all. You may take him with you and you're all ready for the Treasure Hunt." Clavell said with a soft smile as Ash jumps in the air with excitement.
The gang head back to Naranja prepared for everything that will happen from tomorrow onward.
We see Cyclizar struggling to sleep again twisting and turning which Ash and Pikachu took notice of and offered a spot on his bed, Cyclizar was surprised by this but agreed going over to the end of Ash's bed and curling up.
"You ready for what's about to come tomorrow?" Ash whispered.
"Pika, Zar." both Pikachu and Cyclizar whispered happily as Ash smiles, "Good, from tomorrow onward, we'll officially start our journey in Paldea. I wonder how the Elite Four will against me? I should have no problem but who knows, everyone adapts, and I wonder if I'll have a chance to battle Geeta before our official match? I shouldn't worry about this for now, good night you two."
"Zar, Pika." both Pokemon say as they close their eyes and Ash smiles towards them and the rest of his Pokemon, "Adventure awaits."
We see Ash and his friends at some sort of ceremony at the school yard where we see Clavell at a podium alongside several teachers (including nurse Miriam) who had microphones standing there for the big announcement. With some students talking amongst themselves.
"So, today's the day, isn't it?"
"We don't have to worry about studying for a while."
"We can care for the adventure."
We see Ash's team quite excited with Arven looking stoic, but he was shivering, Nemona and Pawmo were very excited while Penny was standing there casually while her Sprigatito sleeps in her hoodie. Ash and Pikachu on the otherhand were ready and focused, "This is it, once we leave those doors, we work together. Ready?" Ash asked as the gang nod as the microphone came on.
"Testing testing. Alright, everyone's here and ready to go but at the very least, allow me to explain this Treasure Hunt once more. The Treasure Hunt will be your independent study assignment where you go and explore the region in search of your own Treasure you can call your own. You have learned our fire teachings-"
Everyone including the teachers cringed at the use of that slang almost causing everyone to leave as Clavell panics, "I mean our fine teachings." everyone got back together to listen once more.
"As I was saying, you have learned our finest teachings and now I want you to use your eyes to explore the wider world and deepen your understandings. From our rich culture to the land's geography, to learning new people to even choosing to eat a churro or Vannilite cone. What will you learn? Where you'll travel to? What will you achieve? These are all questions that I want you to think of during your journey and this includes whether you stay or whether you go, it's up to you on what you do and where you'll go. But don't forget, your Pokemon partners are by your side and don't forget the friends you have as well. You'll journey together, learn new things together, and to share your thoughts and dreams together. Does my fellow teachers have anything to add?"
Dendra stepped forward, "To have fun together!" she said excitedly as Saguaro stepped forward.
"To stay safe and eat together." Biscus stepped forward.
"To learn the region together." Cycas stepped forward.
"To battle alongside each other." Salvatore stepped forward.
"To bond with each other, mis amigos (my friends)." Raifort stepped forward.
"To learn new things about Paldea's history and everything beyond." Jacq stepped forward.
"To learn new Pokemon and bond with them." Tyme stepped forward.
"To learn new locations." Hassel steps forward.
"To admire the region and your friends by your side, both Pokemon and human alike." nurse Miriam steps forward.
"To stay safe together." Professor Gible steps forward.
"Gib Gible!" it seems like Professor Gible's speech inspired everyone as they were seen with tears in their eyes including Clavell's.
"Sorry, those were beautiful words Professor Gible. In fact, thank you to everyone for those kind words to our students. I want you all to learn all that and use that to find your Treasure that you'll always remember. By the end of this, I want you to return not as students but as trainers. I also want you to write an essay by the end of your Treasure Hunt about the things you learned, the things you did, the adventures, the friends and the Treasure you hold dear. Don't forget, you're always welcome to come back if you want to learn but also remember that we have conferences in a couple of weeks so make sure you come back for that. And now, I want to make sure to let you know to stay away from Team Star and the seals but other than that, let the Treasure commence!"
The crowd roared in excitement and the students roared with excitement both young and old as everyone dispersed and Ash's gang agree to meet at the 'Type Circle' once they have their things together.
We see the gang at Type Circle prepared to go with Penny carrying a much large Eevee bag, Arven carrying a gigantic bag with Morada by his side, Nemona carrying a larger backpack and Ash and Pikachu were similarly all prepared with Koraidon daunting a fancy hat.
"That's a- rather large bag you have there Arven." Penny said, "As the chef, I need to be as prepared as possible." Arven said with confidence as Penny scoffed and continued looking at her map with Nemona.
"So which direction are you going?" a voice was heard in the distance as the gang turns around to see Dean, Sarah and Verde (holding her aide's hand) walking towards them.
"Oh, hey Dean, we're setting our sites on Cortondo for Nemona's Gym battle, where are you heading?" Ash asks the group as Sarah points backwards, "We're heading east, we figured Levincia would be that way and that it could help describing the environment to Verde for her drawings."
"So, we're heading in opposite directions, I wonder who will get the most badges by the end of this?" Nemona says with confidence as Sarah smirked, "We'll see indeed." Sarah said with confidence also.
"I'm surprised you're not scared of Koraidon." Penny said, "We saw it yesterday." Dean said.
"I can't see." Verde said with some snark in her voice as Dean panicked a bit.
"Me and Sarah saw it yesterday." Dean clarified.
The gang talked to each other for a bit on how Nemona's going to ace her gym battle and how the things Penny and Arven needed to do were also out west all while trying to keep it a secret from Sarah's group. Eventually, the gang agree to head off but not before Ash fist bumps Sarah and smirks.
"Don't be a stranger." Ash says as Sarah begun to smirk.
"Same to you." Sarah says as the 2 groups went their separate ways with Ash's gang going west while Sarah's went east. What will happen during this Treasure Hunt? Who will they meet? You'll find out as the journey begins.

Omake:
After the gang rescued Cyclizar and got Koraidon settled in, they see a huge line of people at an antique shop and so the gang go over to check it out with Koraidon hiding nearby. They see Saguaro shake hands with a shy meek man and some citizens standing outside holding some new lamps that resembled large Dragon Types.
"What's going on out here?" Clavell asked as Saguaro focuses his attention on the group, "Oh, we're here grabbing our Dragon type lamps. Ash recommended Inoportuno where he got his large Dragon type lamp and Mr. Relleno here had some and the word spread like wildfire, with people buying them up.
Nemona goes to Ash's ear and whispers, "What did you tell them."
"I had to disguise Koraidon so no one would know and so I made up a location and the fact I had a lamp from here."
"Out of all places!?"
The meek man turns to Ash who appears to be all happy, "Thank you for recommending this place young man. I never thought a Champion would recommend a little ole place like this, but it makes me feel happy knowing I got to meet a champion before I died. As a gift, you get 60% off on all items here, I'll cater your wedding if I live, and my family will be your care for as long as you need to." Relleno said happily as Ash looks on nervously.
"You're welcome?" Ash screeched as Relleno got back to his customers and the gang look on with confusion, "What just happened?" Clavell says.
"Honestly, I'm not sure but I pretty much popularized a lamp of impressive quality and I think he might be the godfather to my future kids when I have two Professors in mind for being the godfather and godmother to my kids, but I guess while I'm here, I might as well buy a lamp for my mom and myself." Ash says as he gets in line. The gang shrug and also decide to buy those lamps.

And Cyclizar learned Wild Charge and rejoined Ash's team!
We finally made it to the start of the Treasure Hunt after 3 months and 19 chapters, thank you to all those who stuck through with the story thus far. This story will go on a break to focus on my political career (I.E: playing Final Fantasy XVI) and I will also be planning out the upcoming chapters.
As of writing this, we also got a new trailer for the DLC even though it's brief and we don't know too much about it other than returning Pokemon, a closer look at the locations as well as Carmine and Kieran for the Teal Mask and two new characters for the Indigo Disk. I have planned out how I want the Teal Mask to start and some of the plot but of course, that won't be for a while and won't be final since we don't know too much about the plot of the Teal Mask.
The next chapter will revolve around Quaxly reuniting with a pal from their previous (abusive) trainer, a Steenee and that how he never wants to lose his pal again. But will experience heartbreak once more when Steenee's trainer reveals they're leaving for school outside the region and so Ash, the trainer and the gang make an effort to make Quaxly's days special before they leave.
Also with Verde introduced, I can explain Verde:
Verde (age 14, home: Mesagoza, Paldea)
*Name: Verde is the Spanish word for green, and Verde's hair is green.
*Verde is a student who lost her vision at the age of 8 due to medical complications and uses a cane but always dreamed of accomplishing the goal of drawing the entire region in a circular style and become an accomplished battler even through her blindness. She is childhood friends with Dean who has feelings for her and wishes to help her out and Verde also has feelings for Dean. Her family friend Dux is her visual aide, helping her with assignments and getting around the place and will help her with her Treasure Hunt of drawing the region. Despite her lack of vision, she's actually an experienced battler with Haxorus and her other Pokemon.
I liked the idea of a character in Pokemon having some sort of aid or accomplishing their goals despite their disability and so I decided to write a character that goes through this but doesn't let that stop them from their adventures.
Pokemon thus far:
*Midday Lycanroc (female): Her father's trained Lycanroc, she helps Verde get around the place and is a competent battler when the situation calls for it such as if Verde is in danger or not but is not a battling Pokemon in a traditional sense. She secretly like belly rubs from Verde and her trainer's family.
*Haxorus (male): Verde's starting Pokemon. After Verde lost her vision, he trained and evolved in order to keep his trainer safe and is full of powerful moves under his belt.
