Welcome back to a new chapter of Pokemon SVTA and today is part 1 to a 2 parter where in this chapter, we'll be focusing on Ash's personal adventure where Ash is dealing with his self-sacrificial nature and Clavell (disguised) decides to help by asking him to work together to get back his Soothe Bell which has unfortunately been taken by some Gible and Frigibax. we learn more about 'Clove' (Disguised Clavell) about his own self-sacrificial natures (I'm not good with descriptions).

Part 2 will focus on Nemona and Carmine having their 2nd battle as Carmine is searching for Ash once more since the Treasure Hunt started and Nemona won't let her do so, will Nemona be able to improve on what she's done the last time and adapt or will her efforts end in failure? (Also, the cinnamon bun Kieran is there too).

Cover Story 24: Delta Stream 1

Sawyer is a unique individual, always taking notes in order to improve on himself and his Pokemon and got the opportunity to meet Ash and even learn from him. Though he was sad about his loss in the Kalos league, he nevertheless had fun and helped save Kalos from Lysandre's plan (though it was more about helping the citizens) and his efforts were recognized by his home region's Champion Steven who asked Sawyer to be his assistant. Since then, he's focused his efforts on the mysteries of Hoenn and some asteroid fragments showing up on earth recently.

One day, Sawyer is asked if he could access the Gym's strength for future Gym Battles and though he was unsure at first, he agreed to do so because of Steven's offer of a ful once it was all over and possibly even a tournament and seeing how Sawyer had nothing to do, he decides to join. He's challenged 4 Gyms thus far until on his way to Littleroot Town to pay Professor Birch a visit, he is confronted by a girl with a Whismer asking if he has a Key Stone and before Sawyer could process it, he is distracted by Whismer's Hyper Voice and his Key Stone is taken from him.

As he and his Sceptile give chase, they bump into a boy named Brandon whose Key Stone was also taken by this mysterious girl and both team up to try to get back their Key Stones and as it turns out, they weren't the only ones targeted as several trainers Key Stones were also taken. They confront this mysterious girl and battle her with Sawyer's Sceptile and Brandon's Swampert but both are overwhelmed by Zinnia's Goodra and Salamence who without Mega Stones, are easily defeated and this girl tells them that a disaster is brewing and that if they want to find out more, it's best that they find her in a cave full of history and leaves.

Before they can give chase however, Sawyer and Brandon are given a call by Steven and Professor Birch (who Brandon reveals is his father) to come to the Devon Corporation for some important info and both trainers agree to head over immediately and get to know more about each other on the flight there on Sawyer's Salamence such as that Brandon dislikes the fame he's given for just being the son of a professor and wishes to be known for his personality and character and not who he's associated with and that Sawyer is the first person to really treat him normally.

Both boys arrive to the corporation in no time and it's there where Steven reveals that his stone was stolen as well but there's more to it than that, he reveals that there's a meteor heading for earth and that its power is enough to destroy earth. This shocks everyone but it's there that Steven reveals a plan, he notes that the ancient Draconid people have theorized that in a pending disaster, they can use the power of the meteorite shards to have Rayquasa use its power to stop such a disaster and in this case, a meteor.

Though Steven says it's a hunch, Sawyer says it's worth a try and that he can look for them surprising Steven by Sawyer's bravery and instructs him to retrieve the shard and Sawyer heads off and inspired by Sawyer's bravery, Brandon joins Sawyer for the adventure in a race against time to prevent the world's destruction.

Cover Story 25: Greninja's Never-ending story 2: The Bulbs of Evil 2

Last time, Greninja alongside Squishy and Z2 may have found what's causing the bulbs caused by the Team Flare incident to occur and as they destroy the bulb, they find out that people were being stuffed in there and that 3 of them are a Shiny Froakie and two turquoise Zygarde Cells and head off to the direction of this next bulb alongside Shiny Froakie and the cells. They also encountered the mysterious 9 ft man named AZ who asked about Geosenge town's direction but what his deal is, is so far unknown.

We see Greninja and the cells enter a broken looking base of operations where they were prepared to sneak by two Flare grunts but suddenly the energetic Froakie came through despite the turquoise's cells warning causing Greninja to knock out the guards instead and head to a hiding spot. Squishy starts to ask questions as to who they are and why do the two cells look like Squishy and Z2 but before anyone could answer, Froakie is caught by a mechanical hand revealing to come from a green haired girl named Bryony who need Froakie who has the 'energy' to power up their machine but before they could do anything, Aliana arrives to distract them long enough by sending out her Druddigon and Mightyena.

Z2 remembers her and Bryony and thought they were arrested alongside the mysterious blue cell (that had a dark blue cell to distinguish the other cells) remembers her upon arriving at this universe. Though everyone is curious, they decide to discuss this later and prepare to fight and although it seemed like a simple fight, Aliana calls on her grunts to help her out which became too overwhelming so Z2 and Squishy transform into Zygarde 10% to help out but even then, there's too much. The blue cells try to fight as well but noticed half of their cells were gone and can't do anything but before things went array, a Moonblast was called out from the distance and blasted away most of the grunts.

Greninja, the blue cells and Zygarde turn to see Diantha and her Mega Gardevoir who received a report of disturbance following some missing individuals and decided to help Greninja and together, they proceed to wipe out most of the grunts and defeat Aliana. They make it through the facility eventually finding the Froakie in a machine having his life force powering up a machine alongside a bulb around the same size as the last one but before anyone could rush in there, Bryony's Liepard and Bisharp rush in to strike the group but dodge the attack.

Just as things were getting dire, Clemont and Bonnie (alongside AZ) arrive and use their Luxray's Wild Charge and Fennekin's Flamethrower respectively to clear a path. Though Bonnie's happy to see Greninja and Squishy again, Squishy (through telepathy) asks why Team Flare decided to come back, Bryony scoffs and mentions a part 2 to Lysandre's plans if that all fails that being, a facility containing a powerful weapon but without Lysandre, they can't exactly access the machine so they-

She didn't finish that sentence as AZ calls them out on their actions of trying to awaken dimensions to other universes via the Ultimate Weapon which surprises Bryony until she realizes that AZ is that person Team Flare is searching for. With Bryony distracted, Greninja breaks the machine containing Froakie and the bulb letting people go before Diantha knocks her out. With everything settled down and the machine calmed down, everyone wants answers with Squishy and Z2 curious about the Froakie and blue cells and Diantha, Clemont and Bonnie curious about AZ.

AZ relented and began his story 3000 years ago.

Main Story

In a dark void, we see Ash walking in the darkness with nowhere to go. "Penny! Nemona! Arven! Koraidon! Pikachu! Guys! Where did you go?" Ash yelled out worryingly as he then sees 6 figures that Ash seems to recognize and runs towards them.

"Brock! Misty! Mimey, Oak, mom! Pikachu!" Ash says reaching out to them, but they disappear. He then sees May and Max and also tries to reach out to them but to no avail, then with Dawn, Cilan and Iris, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie, his Alola classmates, Professor Kukui, Burnet and Lei, Goh and Chloe and lastly, Nemona, Arven, Penny and Koraidon who all disappear before Ash can reach out for them.

Ash starts to tear up a bit, "Where are you guys going?" Ash asks as he then lands on the ground but upon Ash looking down, he realizes he's walking onto the people and Pokemon he knew from his journey all unconscious.

"Guys!" Ash yelled out in worry as a large shadowy figure that had parts resembling everyone and Iron Valiant appeared from the 'ground' and crystals started covering everyone before reaching out to Ash who tries to defend himself.

"Ash, why didn't you save us?" the shadowy figure said as a Legion as Ash teared up, "I saved you countless times, what did I do to fail here?"

"Slow."

"Weak."

"Pathetic."

"You let us down and now we're gone."

All these voices were getting to Ash, "Enough!" Ash yelled out as the scene changes to that of a funeral where we see friends and Pokemon of Ash's seemingly upset on a rainy day at some sort of gravesite.

Ash sees his mother and Pikachu weeping at a gravestone in particular with Clavell, Mimey and Ash's Paldean companions trying to comfort her, Ash also sees the Champions upset at themselves as Leon walks over with some sort of executive to hand Delia a certificate of sorts. Ash also sees his rivals who are more conflicted at themselves, Ash's previous companions, were also there weeping, the professors, even Team Rocket disguised who didn't have any malicious intent and his Alola classmates who are trying to hold their weeps while Kiawe tried to act stoic but breaks down in Kukui's arms as Kukui also wept alongside Burnet.

Ash's Pokemon were also upset and his Lycanroc let out a howl of sadness. His most recent acquaintances in Paldea were also in attendance with Saguaro and Hassel crying out while his teachers looked down upon themselves sadly, Sarah and Dean were equally as upset. Geeta also went to Delia handing her a certificate and support.

"Why did Ash have to handle his problems alone, he didn't have to shoulder those burdens alone." Arven says getting Ash's attention, "He saved countless regions from various Evil Teams, world ending disasters and saved Paldea from crystallization but at what cost, he didn't want us to get hurt or go through a Champion's own worries but- but- but- I WANT HIM Back!" Delia yelled out as Pikachu comforted her.

"I died?" Ash says to himself as he floats over there to his gravestone and a statue of his heroism causing Ash to tremble.

These thoughts of mine, are they how I feel? Do I feel conflicted at myself for not letting them help me? I only want them safe before me but I- Ash didn't finish that thought as Ash notices a black hole like vortex that suddenly sucks Ash in.

"Wait! Stop! I don't want to go like thisssss-"

Ash wakes up in cold sweat heavily breathing, Ash looks to his Rotom Phone to see it was only 3:21 in the morning and Ash briefed a sigh of relief. Ash sneaks by a sleeping Pikachu to head outside the tent to look at the other tents, he sees that the gang were asleep peacefully in their own tents and Ash softly smiles but still looked worried and went back to sleep feeling uneasy throughout the morning.

I'm glad you're all safe. Ash thought to himself as he went back to an uneasy sleep.

Later in the morning, we see gang prepare to eat breakfast as Ash, Nymble and Pikachu (the ones injured the least) check on Quaxwell, Cyclizar, Tinkatink and Hawlucha who are resting up after yesterday's battle with Valiant. Ash looks on worried about them and the events of yesterday.

Paldea will go through crystallization, and I sacrificed myself for everyone, but that Terapagos disappeared from the crystal causing the Terastalization to continue. So, was my sacrifice even worth it in the end? Most importantly, this Terapagos fellow, what was it doing with me? Ash thought to himself sadly as Hawlucha noticed and tried to get up but couldn't do so due to his pain in his body causing Ash to notice.

"Lay back down Hawlucha, you need your rest. I'll get your food for you." Ash said as he got up and grabbed some bowls of food for his resting Pokemon as Arven called out to Ash that breakfast was ready and Ash heads over right away.

A little while later, the gang eat breakfast as they chat but Ash, who is usually a big eater was eating more lightly and appeared to be more distracted which got the gang to notice his behavior.

"Say Ash, is something wrong?" Arven asks getting Ash's attention, "Oh no, nothing like that. I'm just... distracted." Ash says with a fake smile.

"It's about yesterday, isn't it?" Nemona says as Ash sighs, "Pretty much. I want to try to ignore it, but not only did I sacrifice myself to save the region, my sacrifice didn't even work and in Valiant's future, this region is doomed." Ash says surprising the group towards Ash's issue.

"Well, we can work together to overcome it." Penny says as Ash shook his head, "I- I'm aware but we aren't even sure where this Terapagos or this egg is and the fact that this event will occur sometime soon, and I'm worried that I don't know why this is occurring."

This got Nemona's attention over something from yesterday, "Say Arven, Valiant mentioned this thing happening in Area Zero, did you try contacting your father?" Nemona says as Arven nodded.

"I tried contacting him earlier, but it seems like he's not picking up. Wonder what he's doing now?"

We cut to Turo crying on his couch over the Toedscool's Romantic Melody Anime, "I know I have 25 more episodes left Gallade-senpai breaking up with Toedscool-chan for not getting her up in his drama is heartbreaking!"

"Probably just some science work." Arven says, "I guess what matters most is that you're all safe." Ash says as Penny looks to him more seriously.

"I'm glad you're looking out for us, but you need to remember, you're an individual who can laugh, cry, be mad, etc, you need to be happy as well. When it comes time to whole event, you shouldn't just shoulder the burdens on your own but allow us-"

"I know! I know. It's just that I- I- I'm scared of losing you for getting into something very dangerous, could end the world and I wouldn't know what I would do with myself if I were to lose my own friends and Pokemon. I'm scared of losing the people I care about most including you three." Ash said a bit upset as the gang look on with sympathy.

"Ash." Arven says as Ash stood up from the table, "I think I just need to take a walk a bit to let out some stress, it shouldn't be that long." Ash says as he dashes off causing a worried Pikachu and Nymble to follow him as Nemona attempted to follow but Penny lightly grabbed her arm.

"I know you want to follow Ash, but he needs some time to cool off a bit." Penny says but she's feeling a bit decisive.

"But I don't want Ash to feel like this he has to handle this by himself." Nemona says as Penny nods, "I'm worried too but I feel like this conversation should help him in realizing those things soon." Penny says as Nemona reluctantly sighs and sits back down.

Nearby, we see Clavell and Inteleon disguised as rocks overhearing the conversation, "Poor Ash, after yesterday, I don't exactly blame him for thinking all this. I learned from Herschel that a Champion who fights alone is key to success but fighting alongside others can make a difference."

"Tel Tel."

"Funny, me learning things from a youngster, though he is reaching that age although, I did feel like Ash at one point. I have an idea, Inteleon? Could you place this Soothe Bell nearby somewhere, I want to learn more about his worries and issues by teaming up with him to 'find' my Soothe Bell."

"Teleon Tel?"

"It will work, trust me." Clavell says as Inteleon rushed to place a Soothe Bell nearby and Clavell got to work on a disguise. Unbeknownst to Ash and Clavell were that Karmine and Kieran arrived with Kieran telling his sister not to battle Ash but Carmine sees an opportunity to battle Nemona once more but that is a story for another day.

We see Ash walking alongside Pikachu and Nymble despite his reluctance, "Guys, I'd rather be alone right now." Ash says as Pikachu and Nymble shook their heads.

"Nym/Pika." Both Pikachu and Nymble say as Ash reluctantly sighs, "Alright, you can come with." Ash says with a soft smile as Nymble and Pikachu went along with Ash. They walked for a bit until they notice an old man seemingly having problems at the moment.

"Pika Pika!" Pikachu says pointing towards the old man who seemed to be struggling, Ash goes down the cliff to see what the problem was.

"Scuse me sir, is there a problem I can help you with?" Ash asks as the old man turns around and Ash is surprised by him as he resembled any other oldster but had some gold bling and his cap was reversed to fit in with the 'cool' kids and he also 'resembled' Clive.

"Oh, what's up youngster, it's a pretty based day, right?" the old man said trying to sound hip and cool.

Ash cringed at the old man's choice of words but nodded, "Uh yeah, just use a different word for it. Is there a problem I can help you with?" Ash asks once more as the old man nods.

"Why yes, I was walking to the nearby village of Vento when I dropped my Soothe Bell somewhere in that area and I need help searching for it. Could you help a weak individual like me?" the old man says as Ash nods, "Of course, it's a good change of pace for me. Where was this Soothe Bell?" Ash asks as the old man pointed over to the distance near some berry shrubs all the way in the distance.

"That's pretty far out for you? Especially when your here near the windmills." Ash says as the old man laughs, "I know, but I like walking over here, it gives me a good view of the sea and it's properties." the old man says as they both looked at the ocean with awe in their eyes.

"Paldea's oceans are certainly something." Ash says as the old man chuckles, "It sure is sunny though, wouldn't it be best with your friends by your side?" the old man asks as Ash just looked on.

"Yeah, but right now, I was taking a walk to clear my mind off of some things going on at the moment." Ash says as he, the old man, Pikachu and Nymble begin to walk along the path.

"What kind of things?" the old man asks as Ash sighed, "Well it's-it's nothing. If I were to tell you, you wouldn't believe me oldster."

"The name's Clove Sunny!"

"Sorry, Clove."

"Besides, I've already reached that age where I go crazy when I describe my own adventures to the grandkids who prefer to play on their phone-majigs then listen to me. If my stories are ridiculous then your stories are-" Ash stops the old man before sighing and softly smiling.

"Oh alright. Well yesterday, a Pokemon of the 'future' battled me to prevent me from progressing further into Paldea in fear that my sacrifice was pointless since their future is starting to crystalize and that if I were to change fate, I would need my friends help to do so." Ash says as Clove got curious.

"And what's wrong with friends helping?" Clove asks which caught Ash off guard.

"Ehh-err. It's not that that I don't want them to help me but as a World Champion, I have a goal of protecting everyone and I seek to do so but on the other hand, I don't want them to help in fear of them getting hurt or killed. They have friends and family and I want them to still be around to live their lives and that if they were to ever get loss or killed under my watch, I wouldn't know what to do with myself, so I want to handle my own battles for their safety." Ash says as Clove looks on.

"But young man, don't you have family and friends you care deeply for?" Clove asks concerned.

"I do, but when it comes to major scenarios like villains and what not, I don't want them involved for their own safety." Ash said worryingly as Clove sighs.

"I guess I get that but still, you're still a person who has a long life ahead of you compared to me with friends and family and even then, a Champion should always-" but before Clove can finish his speech, he and Ash sees a Dedenne trying to help a Pachirisu out of a large and heavy rock.

"Oh no that Pachirisu." Ash says astonished as Clove grabs his Pokeball, "Not to worry, we can lift this rock alongside my Fly-" but once again, Clove couldn't finish as Ash went over there and started to lift the rock which proved to be a slight challenge for him.

"Come on now!" Ash says straining himself as the rock was lifted just enough to allow Pachirisu out of the rock but couldn't move as well due to the injury on their tail, Ash sets down the rock and grabs his bag pulling out some wraps and potions.

"Let's hope what Brock teached me, works." Ash sprays the potion onto Pachirisu's tail and wraps it around Pachirisu's tail with success as Pachirisu is able to move their tail again and head off waving to Ash as thanks.

"-gon. You know you could've strained your arms there sonny." Clove says as Ash scoffed normally, "I'm alright." Ash says enthusiastically.

"Then how do you explain your foot beneath that rock there?" Clove says suspiciously as Ash looked down to see his right foot is indeed, under the rock. "Oh, well when you have something on your foot for this long without noticing, you kind of get used to it."

"Then why are you tearing up?" Clove asked the Champion who has a slight teardrop on his face, but his happy expression doesn't change at all, "Let's move on."

We see Ash, Clove, Pikachu and Nymble continuing along the path almost to their destination and the two decide to discuss once more about their personal adventures.

"Say Ash? Do you enjoy your time here in Paldea?" Clove asks as Ash nods, "Of course, everyday has been an adventure from beginning to end! I got to meet some good friends, great teachers, and caught some wonderful Pokemon who have been nothing but my pride and joy everyday."

"Pika Pika."

"You, Hawlucha and everyone else back at the labs are my pride and joy too bud. I just want to acknowledge everyone."

"Pika Pika."

"I apologized for making you jealous towards Riolu but I didn't think you would be that jealous especially on our prior adventures."

"Pika-"

Both Pikachu and Ash kept talking and Clove seemed to look on warmly.

Ash certainly has a fiery spirit and seems to enjoy his time here and yet; he feels like he has to be alone as a Champion. Clove thought to himself as they keep walking.

"You were just like me when I was younger, having lots of friends and Pokemon by your side while your young and active, being stubborn and sometimes reckless. Nowadays, most friends drift away both living and to the afterlife..." Clove says fondly yet bittersweetly as Ash looked on sadly.

"Sir, I'm-" Ash didn't finish as Clove shook his head, "No, don't worry about it. You should enjoy the time you have with your friends because things... might happen and you want to be there for them and maybe they'll come to you. But enough about me, what about you, do you have any questions for me?" Clove asked as Ash did have one question.

"You resemble a lot like a student interested in-"

"Oh, you must be thinking of Clive, he's my son and a proud father and grandfather. He went back to school to earn his degree at Naranja and is interested in both 60's culture and 80's culture and yet is interested in these newfound generational slang words such as 'fire', 'based', 'GO-GOAT' and 'drip'. Do you know what any of those words mean?" Clove says as Ash, Pikachu and Nymble cringed.

"Umm, well, you don't have to worry about that for a while." Ash says trying to avoid the subject matter as best as possible.

The 4 reached the area and Ash and Clove proceed to search but Clove seems a bit worried for some reason.

"You left your Soothe Bell pretty far out."

"Yeah, my pockets are very small, so things fall when I head back home. Haha."

The Soothe Bell's gone! I told Inteleon to leave it here but now it's- Don't tell me, that a random- Clove didn't finish that thought as Ash pointed at a nearby cave.

"It could be possible that a random Pokemon went in there and took that Soothe Bell into the cave."

Of course, that would happen. Well, I guess this is where the real problems begin hasn't it Clavell? Clove thought to himself as he gets up, "Well, I can always get a new one, let's go to the nearby village of Rastro and-" Clove didn't finish as he sees Ash smirk.

"Not to worry sir, I'll get your Soothe Bell! Just wait here, c'mon Pikachu and Nymble, let's go grab it!" Ash says as they enter the cave and Clove looks on with shock.

Damn it kid! Stay still!" Clove thought to himself as he enters the cave too in order for him to keep up with Ash, "Don't just run off like that kid, especially in this cave, it's a beginners trap! It's also dark in here at least let me provide a torch." Clove said worryingly as he sends out Ceruledge who provided light from their blades, Ash on the other hand appeared confident and didn't appear worried.

"I'll be fine, stay behind me and I'll take on as many hits as possible! How dangerous is this cave anyway?" Ash says with confidence as Clove sighs.

Now your concerned!? Clove thought to himself before sighing, "This cave is known as Menos Cave and is filled with very strong Pokemon but is considered a beginners trap due to its placement amongst the earliest of routes but contains such Pokemon as Salazzle, Salamence, Garganacl and even a Flittle."

"What's wrong with a Flittle?" Ash asks as Clove shivers up, "It's like a war story my boy, it's not the Flittle you should be worried about, it's the Espathra!" Clove says horrified as Ash rolls his eyes.

"Ok then."

They eventually reach the center where they see a fight going on, both Ash and Clove see a Garchomp and a Baxcalibur duking it out while their preevos Gabite and Frigibax battle it out while multiple Arctibax and Gible watched on, but Ash sees a particular Arctibax is playing a tug of war with a Gible over the Soothe Bell.

"Who're those Pokemon?" Ash asks as he grabs his Rotom Phone and scans them.

Frigibax, the Ice Fin Pokemon, a Dragon/Ice type. This Pokemon's icy body cools nests like a refrigerator and is said to live in craggy areas.

Arctibax, the Ice Fin Pokemon, a Dragon/Ice type and the evolved form of Frigibax. This Pokemon uses its large back blade to attack the opponent thanks to its strong legs and is able to jump as high as a Tauros.

Baxcalibur, the Ice Dragon Pokemon, a Dragon/Ice type and the evolve form of Artiibax and the final evolved form of Frigibax. This Pokemon's icy breath can freeze the hottest of lava and can finish a foe with its large back blade. It uses the move Glaive Rush and its icy breath to launch itself towards an opponent.

"Very frightening." Ash says calmly as Clove looks on rather sadly towards them, "What's the matter sir?" Ash asked as Clove turns around.

"I think we should leave." Clove says confusing Ash, "I can get it back for you if you want?" Ash asked as Clove sighs.

"No, I think we should-" but before Clove could finish, a Baxcalibur stomps the ground trying to attack Garchomp causing a rockslide to appear blocking the way out, "A rockslide!?" Clove says which caught the attention of an Articbax who launched a powerful Ice Shard towards a distracted Clove who turns around but before it could hit him, Ash steps in the way and takes the blow to his leg.

"Ash/Pika/Ble!" Clove, Pikachu and Nymble yelled out worried as Ash smirked though his knee was very much in pain and appeared to be very wobblily, "I'm fine, got to keep you safe after all." Ash says confidently as Clove sweats nervously.

Ash no, I can't seem take him just trying to end his life so recklessly, I need to let him know that he's not alo- but before Clove could finish, the Artibax and now a Gabite go and rush towards the group as Ash prepares to block the hit once more but Pikachu and Ceruledge use Iron Tail and Night Slash respectively while Nymble uses Double Kick against the Arctibax.

"Guys, you didn't need to-"

"Pika!/Nym!/Ledge." the 3 Pokemon say sternly as Ash doesn't argue and sits down, "Alright, alright. Pikachu use Quick Attack on Gabite and Nymble use Pounce on Artibax!" Ash says as they nod, and Pikachu runs towards Gabite at quick speed and Gabite prepares to use Slash before being stopped by Ceruledge's Shadow Claw while Nymble clashes with Arcibax's Dragon Tail.

Clove meanwhile nods to Ceruledge as he goes to search for his Soothe Bell until he notices the Frigibax winning the tug of war and hugging onto it for its life as Clove sees an image of a happy Baxcalibur in his mind holding the Soothe Bell. Clove ultimately sighs and prepares to shout.

"Alright enough out of all of you!" Clove yelled out getting everyone's attention before facing the Frigibax as the stubborn Artibax were prepared to fight, "You're interested in that Soothe Bell am I right?" Clove asks as the Frigibax nodded silently before Clove looked to everyone else.

"And your all fighting because you all want this Soothe Bell for your side, right?" Clove asks as they nod, "Normally at my school, I would condone this type of stuff and take it away as punishment. At the same time though, I like to offer solutions so how about this?" Clove grabs his bag to show multiple Soothe Bells and Shell Bells which intrigues the Pokemon.

"I'm willing to give you all these bells as long as you get along and share, it's something I tell my students all the time, always share amongst yourselves." Clove says as he lets the Pokemon grab a Shell Bell and a Soothe Bell including the Baxcalibur and Garchomp surprising Ash who tries to go to them but Ash couldn't due to the injured knee. Clove gets up and helps Ash to a nearby rock but before Clove could say anything, the Garchomp and Baxcalibur urged the Gabite and Arctibax to go over and apologize for their actions via bowing.

Ash and Clove forgive the two and Clove gives the two a Soothe Bell and Shell Bell and the two run off. Clove looks back to Ash and looked at him sternly.

"Don't give me your excuses! You were reckless when you did that maneuver!" Clove says sternly as Ash stiffens, "I'm just doing my job as a-"

"As a champion I know, but you need to think about yourself more often rather than going in recklessly. I get it, you act like that because you have to do everything for everyone or have to do things alone because of your status but in the end, every Champion has some sort of breaking limit and that includes just dying recklessly and just working alone. I know this sounds generic but even if you've fallen alone, you can always count on your friends to pick you up and continue the fight. I don't know what will happen in this future of yours, but I know you can change that course of both your fate and the fate of Paldea with your friends. I'm sure you know they're capable, don't you?"

Ash just sat there shocked, "I... do."

Clove nodded in approval, "Do they trust you?"

"...Yes."

"Then trust them as your ally and companion and not just as a citizen."

"Say Clove?"

"Yeah?"

"You've experienced loss, haven't you?"

Clove stood there silent for a moment before nodding, "I have, I've lost adults, kids and Pokemon for a variety of reasons including recklessness and I may be just some withering old man, but I want everyone to work together as companions to not lose each other before I die myself." Clove finishes wrapping the bandage around Ash's leg before settling down on a rock.

"Your leg should be healed in a bout a couple of minutes, and we'll get going." Clove says as Ash is kind of confused, "Say Clove, what about your Soothe Bell? You gave it away." Ash says as Clove sighs.

"You know, I was going to get it back but then I saw that Frigibax with that particular Soothe Bell and it reminded me of my own Baxcalibur and how happy he was with that Soothe Bell, and I decided that it was time to let go of the past and embrace the remaining amount of time left making people happy. It was back when I was your age that I myself was also reckless but also caught my first Pokemon... at least when I actually began my journey."

A long time ago, 6-year-old Clavell was a young stubborn Galarian lad just trying to be the best no one ever was until he received his first Pokemon, a Sobble and he changed his life from a stubborn trainer with a bad boy attitude to someone who wanted to reach the top. One day on top of a hill above of other children, Clavell and Sobble with determination shouted amongst the children and Pokemon.

"You lads and laddettes! Once I become a trainer, I'll take on this Gym Challenge so I can become Galar's next top Champion, and you all can't stop me!" Clavell yelled out as the children roared and cheered amongst the crowd but before little Clavell could take on the Gym Challenge, his father, a well-known scientist received a teaching offer in Kanto from a good friend and so on Clavell's 7th birthday, he and his family moved to Pallet Town for his father to become a science teacher.

This disappointed Clove heavily as he'll likely be stuck there forever but things changed when he met a boy named Samuel Oak during a summer camp, Samuel was the son of a famous professor and a good friend of Clavell's father. They bonded over their love of Pokemon and both have the dream of one day becoming professors. During a class trip in Paldea, Samuel helped taught Clavell how to catch a Pokemon and that Pokemon ended up being a Frigibax and Clavell gave him a Soothe Bell due to Frigibax being interested in it.

Eventually when both trainers became 10 years old, they went their separate ways with Samuel heading off to document Pokemon with his notebook while Clavell went back to Galar via an invitation from the then Galarian Champion at the time and he, Sobble and Frigibax prepared to take on the world.

They went through many hardships, met new friends and went through evolutions both figuratively and literally. As Frigibax evolved, their appearance changed to be much bigger and scarier, but it was a kind Pokemon willing to help the younger ones, but Clavell became more protective (and stubborn). He would help anyone no matter what the problem was but was too reckless causing him to get hurt a lot at times but was too stubborn to care but he did care for others underneath all that stubbornness.

One night while staying in a hotel in Hammerlocke before his final Gym battle, a fire occurred and Clavell's heroic nature kicked in so with the help of the Champion helped get everyone out of the building but then noticed a child stuck underneath some rubble, Clavell and Baxcalibur helped get some of the rubble out but there was still some left to which Baxcalibur noticed some debris about to fall from the ceiling and so in a last ditch effort of kindness, Baxcalibur pushed Clavell out of the debris blocking Baxcalibur's way out and shielded the kid.

Clavell tried to reach out for them but was stopped by the champion and then, the building collapsed. It took a while for them to clear the building and to their surprise, the kid survived but only thanks to Baxcalibur's actions but unfortunately, he passed away from his injuries leaving behind a softly smiling body and his precious but burned Soothe Bell. This left Clavell in a state of shock and wasn't sure what he wanted to do but it was thanks to that region's Champion cheering him up that allowed him to keep going.

He learned that there will always be a companion that will look out for him, help out and will help him get back on his feet even during the toughest of times. It was then forward that he taught himself that cooperation between friends and comrades is key and used that logic going forward. He didn't win the Galrian league but he gained a new sense of understanding from that day forward.

"Your Baxclibur really meant much to you?" Ash says as Clove nods, "He really was. When I'm being stubborn, he was always there to to put me in place. Sadly, only my old Inteleon is left to put me in place at times."

Ash understood what he meant by that last part.

"Oh, I'm sor-"

"Nah don't be, it's as I said, we all drift apart and soon enough, I may wither away after Inteleon. Young Ash, I want you to always treasure the ones you hold dear because as I said, we may all drift apart in the future, but the bonds will always be within us." Clove says as Ash then nods to himself before looking to Pikachu and Nymble and rubbing their heads happily.

"Pikachu, Nymble, let's work together even more to save Paldea and change fate for the better!"

"Pika/Nym!" both say enthusiastically as Ash stands up, "Right, let's break down those rocks!" Ash says with a new sense of determination as Clove gets up ready to help too.

"Pikachu use Iron Tail and Nymble use Double Kick!" Ash says as Clove joins, "Us too, Ceruledge use Shadow Claw!" Clove yells out as the Pokemon nod and Pikachu strikes with his metalized tail, Nymble kicks and Ceruledge slashes at the rocks and although they were able to break some of them, they still wern't able to get through.

"The rocks must be too thick; we may have to sen- wait my Pokemon are back at the camp!" Ash says but fortunately, he didn't need to do much as Garchomp and Baxcalibur step in and decide to help.

Baxcalibur nods to Garchomp before jumping in the air and launching itself towards the rocks while Garchomp launches a Fire Blast 'attacking' the Baxalibur who glows in an orange light and destroys the rocks with ease.

This left Ash in a state of confusion on the other hand, "Why did Garchomp attack the Baxcalibur with a Fire Blast? I thought they made amends?" Ash says as Clove pushes up his glasses.

"That my boy is Baxcalibur's signature ability Thermal Exchange which gives it a boost to its attacking power when hit by a Fire move and it doesn't get burned either and so that Fire Blast boosted Baxcalibur's Glaive Rush."

"Glaive Rush?"

"It's a powerful move but has a significant drawback that leaves it more exposed to an opponent's attack."

The rocks are cleared away and they see an opening, the two trainers thank the Pokemon and head off.

They reach outside on a still beautiful day. Ash with a sense of hope turns to Clove.

"Say Clove, thanks."

"For what my boy?"

"For giving me a new sense of purpose, I shouldn't fight my battles alone at times. Sure, it's concerning to have a friend you know be involved but it's clear they're capable of great things if you trust them enough."

"That's good. You say you have friends at your camp, right? Go to them, little ole me will be fine getting myself back." Clove says to the young lad as he nods and heads back with a new sense of understanding.

Clove smiles to the young lad and feels a presence behind him, "You need help getting back to the village old man or are you going to pursue this Team Star?"

Clove turns around to see Ribes Herschel and his H Arcanine from before but rather than feeling surprised, he had some sort of confidence lying inside him.

"Ribes!? Didn't expect to see you around here." Clove says taking off the disguise.

"I saw Ash's fight with that robotic Gardevoir. You know you're going to go through hell if you investigate Team Star."

"I've been through hell, and I'll go back to protect my students. But it's not just I want to investigate them; I want to learn more about them."

"Learn more?"

"These students have their reasons for joining Team Star and I want to figure out why and who their leader is before they get hurt or lose their future. And also, there's more to this Starry Skies incident to what meets the eye."

"How so?"

"Let's just say, the reports are false and Uva is the one behind it."

Ribes seems to be visibly shocked especially towards the Uva part of things, "Your children go to Uva right, I understand your shock but I'm ready to help my students no matter what. I may not know the full extent behind this but if those Team Staar bosses know-" Clavell was stopped by Ribes seemingly convinced.

"Alright, you made your point, you ramble on too much. Let's head somewhere so we can discuss this quietly but once you've done this, there's no return.

"I'll take those chances."

We switch back to Nemona who was holding an injured Pawmo out of concern while Penny and Arven looked on shocked alongside concern Kieran as they look over to a smirking Carmine and her H Samurott.

"Is that it? Is that all your Pawmo improved on from last time? At least you and Pawmo got a bit darker in your battle tactics but other than that, you're pretty weak." Carmine said coldly as Nemonaa grits her teeth.

"Will you ever stop talking?" Nemona says angrily, "Not until I drive out 'that' trainer."

"I won't let you see him!" Nemona said with cold fury in her voice as Carmine was taken aback.

"Now where is he?" Carmine asked as Penny, Arven and Kieran looked a bit shocked as Nemona tilted her head to see a familiar figure as Carmine turned around and smirked.

"If you're looking for me, I'm right here and ready to battle!" "Pika Pika!" both Ash and Pikachu say.

Hi there, this will be a short end section today because I'm about to head on a trip for a week so you won't see another chapter for a little bit but the next chapter will be in Nemona's perspective as Carmine (plus Kieran) returns to seek out Ash, but Nemona won't allow her and so their 2nd rival battle begins.

Other than that, I'll have to cut this one short and I apologize if some parts seem rushed due to my trip so I'll see you in the future.
