Hello one and all to a new chapter of Pokemon SVTA and today, Ash and Arven prepare to face the Klawf titan. Also, I went through the Mochi Mayhem storyline when it was released, and it seems like Penny's actual father (as in the canon version not my story version from Side Story 1) is hinted towards being Peony from Sword and Shield. Since my version of Penny's father and siblings were established before the epilogue came out and it's far along in the story, it's too late to establish them in the story (outside of the Cover Story) so instead for this version of the story, Peony, his wife and his daughter Peonia are instead Penny's uncle, aunt (Delav's sister) and cousin respectively.
I will say, I like the hints that Peony is implied to be Penny's father and was surprised by the "ADVEN-tour!" line but I'm not complaining and this rule of mine won't be established in any of any other stories featuring them, just here.
This episode is kind of a Saguro episode as well and a sort of alternate take on his Friendship story in the games.
There will also be one last change, I decided to up Ash's age from 12 and a half to 13 and a half (close to 14), I looked over the timeline of the series and I realized it would make more since for Ash to be around 13-14 rather than 12 and a half but this will be the last tampering of his age and in the future, there will be a birthday episode for him as part of a side story. I will go back to edit these new ages in but other than Ash, everyone else's ages are the same.

Cover Story 39: Operation Goh Time 2: The Beast that Walks on Water 2
Last time, Goh goes with the team for Project Mew to the Isle of Armor to find the mysterious Walking Wake (a Pokemon that looks like a Suicune) before Amaranth's brother Albus (who was in Area Zero when he lost his wife and daughter) captures it for unknown purposes. They will be staying at the Isle of Armor, an island owned by a good friend of his Mustard who has an attractive wife that surprises Goh, Horrace and even Gary despite his cool attitude.
Goh and the crew walk to the dojo and while walking to the dojo, Goh learns that Horrace recently let go of Virizion due to them sensing their comrades were in trouble in the Crown Tundra so not wanting to restrict Virizion, Horrace let them go and though saddened, he doesn't let that bother him. It's when Goh was heading to the dojo however, he spots a Galarian Slowpoke seemingly harassing a mysterious bear Pokemon that he catches the Slowpoke, Goh goes to check on the small Pokemon that resembles a karate student as Goh heals his leg and gives him a berry. The Pokemon looked appreciated but before Goh could catch it, the Pokemon runs off as he sees Klara and Avery who looked angrily at Goh saying that someone like him shouldn't be interacting with 'that' Pokemon because it's special.
Klara decides to battle Goh but before she could, both Klara and Avery were scared off by Quillon and Danika who didn't appear afraid of them and says they'll get them back. Danika apologizes for their behavior saying she and Quillon knew them from their days at Mustard's dojo. Klara is a famous influencer who looks nice on the surface but is very toxic but literally and figuratively and after an incident where she doxxed a fan of hers, she was ordered by her family to go on the island while Avery comes from a long line of Psychics but Avery acts better than everyone and one day, he tormented a fellow student to the point they left town. As punishment by the school, he was expelled but Mustard made a deal with them to rehabilitate Avery so he can be nicer and make up for himself.
Quillon tells Goh not to let them bother him and explains that the Pokemon he saw was Kubfu, the dojo's treasure. Later on, Project Mew gets settled in and Goh decides to search out Walking Wake, but Mustard suggests joining the dojo and although Goh objects and says he's not a battler and he needs to search for Walking Wake, Amaranth suggests it since they haven't seen Albus and Wake is very illusive so it will be a while and Goh relents. In celebration, Mustard asks for a quick battle between the two as he wants to see what Goh is capable of. Though not as good as a battler as Ash, Goh decides to give it all with his Cinderace against Mustard's Mianshao.
Cinderace rushed in with Double Kick as Mienshao blocked the hits before preparing to use its High Jump Kick, Goh thinks and tells Cinderace to use Blaze Kick to clash with HJK, Goh sees another opportunity as he commands Cinderace to use Quick Attack, but Cinderace's body glows a light blue and through evasive maneuvers, he hits Mienshao with an Acrobatics impressing both Goh and Mustard. Goh orders Pyro Ball and launches it as Mienshao but Mustard orders a burger. (I'm just joking)
He orders a Triple Axel to send it back as Mienshao's legs glow and is covered with ice and kicks the Pyro Ball back at Cinderace's head dizzying him allowing Mustard an opportunity for an attack with High Jump Kick as Goh asks Cinderace to get back in control and he does use Acrobatics as both Pokemon clash knocking each other. Everyone's surprised but Mustard has a good laugh and gives both Pokemon a Sitrus Berry congratulating them and allowing Goh to join as a student but Klara and Avery object to this saying they're allowing a random nobody who isn't supposed to be here as a student.
Goh then twists that and asks aren't they technically 'nobodies' since they weren't supposed to be here but are due to their troublemaker status. This gets the two riled up, but Mustard stops the fight with "Dinner!" and after enjoying a delicious dinner. Goh sees Kubfu from a distance from the outside who looks on shyly. Quillon congratulates Goh on making it to the dojo, but Quillon tells him it's fine. Goh asks why he and Danika were embarrassed to go back home and although Quillon scoffs, he eventually admits that Mustard and Honey were the parental figures he never had, and parents are usually embarrassing. He doesn't know Danika's full background, but it sounds similar to his.
He reveals he came from a broken home and ran away initially living off the streets with his Sneasel before Mustard took him in and gave him a home and thus considers Galar his home, but he still felt that he had a bit of an attitude due to his homelife, but he mellowed out initially at least. He reveals that he became a leader in Project Mew after Amaranth recognized his talents and felt like a confident leader and mentor but one day, while on a mission, there was a heavy snowstorm, the student fell and although survived, she could never use her legs again and thus Quillon blames himself for not looking out for her. This is why he treated Goh the way he did at first not because he was weak (although Quillon kind of thought about that) but rather, those who can't make it through, shouldn't go on something this dangerous.
Qullon apologized for how he treated Goh at first and admits that while he wants to train those who're up to it, it doesn't mean he should treat them lowly and admits that he wants to learn more about his teammates. Mustard, Honey, Danika and Amaranth look on impressed with Quillon's honesty and Goh decides that if he's going to stay and try to find Wake, he'll make an effort to be the best in the dojo despite his lack of battle experience.
Meanwhile on mainland Galar in Motostoke, a man with an eyepatch and having a similar appearance to Amaranth along with 3 unique henchmen and their army of soldiers (whose outfits resemble those red outfits of the Spanish Inquistion) look over a computer. The man named Albus tells the 3 Admins that he's tracked down the 3 Paradoxes, he'll go with the beautiful, goth-like girl Admin named Roja to find Walking Wake, the handsome, bishounen Admin Marron and the tough and burly Gris to find Raging Bolt and Gouging Fire in Paldea and that Albus will join shortly.

Main Story
It was another beautiful morning in Mesagoza where everyone is out shopping, the kids were playing, and trainers were battling. Hmm, speaking of which, we see Ash and Penny at the school's battlefield where across from them, Dean and Sarah were prepared for battle as Koraidon, Nemona, her Pawmo, Penny's Greavard and Jolteon, Arven, his Gogoat, Verde and Dux cheered them on from the side. Penny was nervous and looked to Ash.
"I want to thank you Ash for allowing me to join in your battle, if we're going to face more members of Team Star in battle and if I were to get into battle, I need to be stronger like you." Penny says as Ash smiles.
"But your already strong on your own, you faced a student and their Vullaby and handled the 10 trainers on your own back at Segin base." Ash says positively as Penny blushes and looks away.
"I appreciate your comment but you're the real star of the show." Penny says with a shy smile as Dean smiles.
"With my detective skills, I see someone has a cru-" Dean didn't finish as Sarah bumped her elbow into Dean's arm and gave him a stern look.
"Dean, you know better to do that. Let the happy couple do their conversation." Sarah said teasingly as Penny blushes with a deep red while Ash looks on in confusion.
"Where's the happy couple?" Ash said confused as Penny shook her head.
"Nowhere in particular Ash." Penny calmed down and looked to her Sprigatito on her shoulder and smiled, "You ready Sprigatito?" Penny said happily as Sprigatito nodded and hopped of Penny's shoulder and was prepared for battle as Ash looked to Pikachu with determination.
"Go right ahead buddy." Ash says to his Pikachu as he hopped off Ash's shoulder and joined Sprigatito in battle.
"Well since Penny is newer to battling, we'll go easy to start. You don't want to be sent flying too early now. Turtwig come on out." Sarah says throwing her Pokeball in the air sending out her shy Turtwig who ran behind Sarah's legs, Sarah softly smiled and crouched to Turtwig's level. "It's alright Turtwig, it will be some good practice and if you feel uncomfortable, I'll bring you back alright?" Sarah said as Turtwig nodded and huffed a bit before entering the field.
"Alright Chimchar, you too!" Dean said sending out Chimchar who was fired up and ready to battle, "That's the spirit Chimchar, let your flames loose and ready for battle!" Dean said with excited energy as Chimchar nods and fires up.
Penny breathed in and thought to herself about a plan.
Sprigatito's Protean activates as soon as I use a move from another type and since Sprigatito is a pure Grass type, she can use a move of her type first and avoid the super effective damage against her. Penny thought to herself as she nods.
"Alright Sprigatito, Leafage!" Penny says as Sprigatito launched out multiple leaves towards the two Sinnoh starters and Turtwig panicked but Chimchar stayed confident.
"Burn the leaves with Burning Jealousy!" Dean said as his Chimchar launched a powerful fire breath attack which burned the leaf attack and caused a puff of smoke to appear covering the battlefield as Turtwig and Chimchar kept their heads up and searched around when all of a sudden, Pikachu and Sprigatito appeared behind the two Pokemon and both them and their Pokemon were alerted.
"Sprigatito, Scratch!" Penny said as Sprigatito's back fur turned a light gray, and her glows glowed prepared to slash.
"Pikachu, Iron Tail!" Ash yelled out as Pikachu's tail glowed with a metallic gray and prepared to strike.
"Turtwig, Withdraw!" Sarah yelled out as Turtwig went into her shell and it glowed defending her from Scratch.
"Chimchar, defend with Flame Wheel!" Dean yelled out as Chimchar covered himself with a fiery wheel and was sent back a bit with little damage done as Dean smirks and Sarah gives them a confident smile.
"Took advantage of the smoke, did ya?" Sarah says as Ash smirks.
"Guilty." Ash says as Sarah smiles.
"Fair enough, Withdra-" Sarah didn't finish as Penny sees an opportunity.
"Sucker Punch... Wait a minut- no!" Penny said realizing her mistake as Sprigatito's fur turns to black and attempts to strike but fails as Turtwig uses a Status moves and Sarah sees her chance.
"Sucker Punch can be predictable if used wrongly, Iron Head!" Sarah said as Turtwig's head glowed a metallic grey and launched herself at Sprigatito sending her flying as Penny panicked.
"Ahh, Sprigatito, are you ok!?" Penny said worried as Sprigatito gets back up prepared to fight once more.
"Tito!" Sprigatito said as Penny breathed a sigh of relief. Chimchar winded his arm and prepared to strike at Pikachu and Dean acknowledges this.
"Alright Chimchar, use Brick Break!" Dean said as Chimchar nods and his right-hand glows and launches himself towards Pikachu as Pikachu prepared himself for the attack.
"Alright Pikachu, launch your Electro Web real high in the air!" Ash says as Pikachu nods and launches the Electro Web in the air real high before focusing on Chimchar, "Now use Iron Tail to defend yourself!" Ash says as Pikachu's tail glows and clashes with Chimchar's Brick Break. The gang looked on with intrigue and wondered about Ash's plan, Arven was looking at his Scarlet book which had the image of a large Klawf and the Sweet Herba Mystica and remembered the time he and Ash faced Klawf and Arven's ignorance that almost had them hurt.
I really screwed up back then. I was so focused on trying to heal Mabosstiff, trying to forget my parents and the Paradoxes that I caused Ash's Pokemon to get hurt because I didn't provide him with the details. Now, after facing that Titan Bombirdier, I want to face that Klawf again but this time, more focused on the goal and working alongside Ash. I'm sure I've improved since then; I mean I guess it's been a couple of days, but I know how to fight a Titan now and learn to fight alongside my Pokemon so maybe it will go well, I hope. Arven thought to himself as he woke up from the daydream by everyone's comments.
"Wonder what Ash is planning? Just throwing it in the air real high seems kind of strange." Nemona says as Arven sighs.
"I think you can guess." Arven says bluntly.
"Say, Arven? Are Ash's battles a spectacle to the eyes?" Verde asks holding her Piplup (as a reminder, Verde can't see).
"They usually are." Arven says.
"Man, I would pay a lot to see Ash battle to his fullest extent, that would be beautiful." a mysterious boy said with Scovillain by his side as no one paid any attention to him.
"Yeah, me too Crispin... Crispin!" Arven says surprising the group as the boy from the Firestarter festival was here with them with his Scovillain.
"Wait, you're that guest host from the Firestarter festival, right? What're you doing here?" Nemona asked as Crispin keeps his confident smile.
"As a student of Naranja's sister school, I came here to check out Naranja and see how it compares to Blueberry academy, it's a lot warmer over here compared to Unova and also I wanted to see how my relatives were doing." Crispin says as the group ease up a bit.
"So how does this academy compare to Blueberry?" Dux asks as Crispin thinks for a bit.
"Well, almost the same other than your entrance way is a lot fancier than ours and also that we have a Teraium as our wild area while you guys have the entirety of Paldea." Crispin says as they got curious.
"Teraium?" Verde asks.
"Think of it as our own wild area where Pokemon roam around." Crispin says as he notices the Herba Mystica in Arven's book and marvels at it, "That's the Herba Mystica isn't it?" Crispin says curious to Arven's book but Arven closes it out of a panic.
"Oh, no that was my letter to my penpal in Opelucid City, his name is Johnathan Auerbach." Arven says reluctantly as Crispin remembers something.
"Oh, I know him, he's part of the school's writing club as the president of the club." Crispin says as Arven has a shadowy glare cast upon his face.
Drats Arven thought to himself as the battle continues.
"Pikachu, use your electricity to boost yourself!" Ash says as Pikachu nods and pushes himself forward to push back Chimchar's Brick Break and Penny continued to battle with Sarah.
"Alright Turtwig, use Trailblaze!" Sarah says as Turtwig rushes towards Sprigatito and Chimchar gets back up and prepared for battle.
"That's the spirit! Chimchar use Thunder Punch on Pikachu!" Dean said as Chimchar nods and his fist glows with electricity and launched himself towards Pikachu as both Pikachu and Sprigatito panicked, and Penny struggled to think of something.
"Um- ugh- Leafage let's go!" Penny said as Sprigatito nodded and created multiple leaves and launches them toward the two Pokemon pushing them back and staggering them, Sarah looks up to see the Electro Web coming down and doesn't panic and looks to her Turtwig.
"Well, it seems our gift has arrived, use Sand Tomb to push yourself away." Sarah said calmly as Turtwig creates a ball of energy in her mouth created out of sand particles, but it seems some of those particles reached Turtwig's nose causing her to sniffle up and sneeze pushing her away leaving both Dean and Chimchar confused as the electric web comes flying down and landing on Chimchar which shocks him.
"Oh no Chimchar! Quick, use Burning Jealous-" Dean didn't finish as Penny sees an opportunity.
"Sucker Punch." Penny says as Sprigatito's fur changes to black and socks Chimchar before Ash also sees an opportunity.
"Now use Iron Tail!" Ash says as Pikachu nods and his tail glows, striking Chimchar and sending him towards his trainer fainted as Dean looks on with a comedic blank expression.
"Why didn't you tell me about the Electro Web!?" Dean said as Sarah looks to him emotionlessly.
"You didn't see the web come down?"
"I thought it disappeared!?"
"Never underestimate Ash, Jimmy Dean."
"Jimmy Dean!?" Dean then sunk to the floor comedically like liquid alongside Chimchar and Sarah got back to the battle.
"Well, it' bring it on." Sarah says casually as Ash looks to Pikachu and he nods stepping away from the battlefield getting Penny and Sprigatito's attention.
"Ash?" Penny asks.
"Actually 1 v 1, you wanted to get stronger right? I won't hog the spotlight for you, do your best!" Ash says encouragingly as Penny blushes.
Ash. Penny thinks to herself and nods, "Right! Let's do our best Sprigatito!" Penny says as Sprigatito nods and focuses on the battle.
"Tito!" Sprigatito said excitedly as Sarah nods.
"Alright Turtwig, use Grassy Glide!" Sarah says as Turtwig nods and her body glows in a green aura and launches herself as if she was gliding towards Sprigatito who readies herself.
"Alright Sprigatito, use Quick Attack!" Penny says as Sprigatito nods and rushes at Turtwig clashing with the Tiny Leaf Pkemon with full power as both appeared staggered as Penny sees another opportunity, "Now Leafage!" Penny says as Sprigatito nods and launches the leaves at Turtwig as she staggers.
"Use Sand Tomb on the ground to blow them away!" Sarah says as Turtwig nods and creates a ball of sand energy and launches it towards the ground which blows them away as Sprigatito wraps around herself to avoid the sand as Sarah sees an opportunity herself. "Now Iron Head." Sarah said calmly as Turtwig's head glows a metallic grey and launches herself towards Sprigatito. Penny is worried as due to the sand, Sprigatito has no way of avoiding Iron Head in time, but she tries to stay composed.
"Quick Sprigatito, try to clash Iron Head with Scratch!" Penny says as Sprigatito nods and her claws glow white but all of a sudden, her claws started to glow with a purple aura and clashed with Iron Head and managed to push back Turtwig surprising everyone including Ash who looked on with encouragement.
"Wow Penny, using Shadow Claw to push back Turtwig like that is a good plan!" Ash says with encouragement in his voice as Penny blushes.
"Well, that wasn't my intention but thanks." Penny says as she gets back to the battle and looks a bit more determined, "Alright Sprigatito, use Shadow Claw!" Penny says as Sprigatito nods and jumps in the air as her right paw glows and prepares to slash at Turtwig.
"Turtwig use Withdraw!" Sarah says as Turtwig nods and retreats to her shell as she blocks the hit, "Now use Grassy Glide to push her away!" Sarah said once more as Turtwig's body glows and prepares to attack but Penny focuses.
"Hop away with Quick Attack!" Penny says as Sprigatito nods and uses her legs to jump away quickly away from Turtwig as she lands to the ground quickly, "Now for Leafage!" Penny says as she launches multiple leaves towards the Tiny Leaf Pokemon who staggers and is unable to move through the Leafage stopping in her tracks as Sarah thinks of something.
"Use Sand Tomb on the ground once more!" Sarah says as Turtwig launches another Sand Tomb blowing the leaves away and creating a dust storm.
"Sprigatito, focus through the sandstorm and try to locate Turtwig!" Penny says as Sprigatito nods and looks through the storm until she sees the shadowy outline of Turtwig and nods to Penny, "It's all or nothing, Quick Attack!" Penny says as Sprigatito nods and rushes through the storm as Turtwig also focuses on Sprigatito.
"Guess we'll go out too, Grassy Glide!" Sarah says as Turtwig nods and glides through the field clashing with Sprigatito as some dust cloud appears from the clash and upon clearing, Turtwig appeared to be injured but gets back up, but Sprigatito appeared to be fainted as Penny goes to her Pokemon and picks her up.
"Sprigatito! Are you alright?" Penny asks as Sprigatito licks her trainer's cheek and smiles and Penny smiles in return, "I'm glad you're alright." Penny says as Sarah, Turtwig, Dean and Chimchar walk over to Penny with Sarah having an approving smile.
"My, you and Sprigatito were in sync. You managed to make it through the battle, and you say you've rarely battled?" Sarah said encouragingly as Penny blushes.
"Thanks, I guess it's thanks to training with Ash that I've been able to grow stronger as it is despite my lack of experience." Penny says as Sprigatito cheers her on and Jolteon and Greavard join to cheer their trainer on. Crispin looks on with fire in his eyes and goes to the group alongside his Scovillain.
"My oh my, that was a fire battle for the ages! All of you were amazing and now I really want to battle you especially Ash!" Crispin says with fire in his voice as the 4 recognize him.
"You're that kid from the Firestarter Festival, right?" Penny says as Crispin smirks.
"That's right, Crispin Sparks in the flesh coming to you from Blueberry Academy!" Crispin says as Ash got really curious about him before Crispin looks to Ash, "Say Ash, congratulations on that win and thank you for helping my cousin." Crispin said calmly unlike before where he was hyperactive.
"It's not a problem." Ash says as Crispin gets back to being fired up.
"Your skills with double battles are worthy for my academy back in Unova!" Crispin says as he got Ash's attention.
"Double battle skills?" Ash says as while they were talking, Arven looked on suspiciously towards Crispin as Gogoat and Nemona noticed.
"It looks like you want to hang out with Ash about something, is this best friend's day with Ash?" Nemona said slyly as Arven woke up from the trance.
"Wha-wha, I have no idea what you're talking about, that's next week. I simply want to have Ash help me with dealing with the Stony Cliff Titan Klawf today." Arven says as Nemona looks to him in concern.
"Didn't you tell me this the Titan where you didn't tell Ash anything about Titans and Quaxwell lost control?" Nemona says as Arven sighs.
"Yes, I know but this time will be different. Last time, I was so lost on my goal of restoring Mabosstiff that I simply forgot the finer details and let them get hurt... because of my reckless actions. I don't want that to happen again which is why today will be different, me and Ash have fought a Titan successfully before and I won't let them get hurt again under my watch." Arven says as he gets up from the bench and goes to Ash.
"Yo Ash! I think today's the day we handle that certain 'task'!" Arven says getting Ash's attention and smiling.
"Have a study session for our math test?" Ash says as Arven shook his head.
"No, though now that I think about it, meet me in my room later. No, our other task." Arven says.
"A date?" Verde said as Arven immediately shakes his head but Ash steps forward to defend Arven.
"No, I know what he's referring to and I'm ready to go!" Ash says as Arven nods but Crispin steps forward.
"Ahh, you're going to find the Herba Mystica ain't ya, can I follow you, I'm curious about the Herba Mystica." Crispin says as Arven's eye twitches.
He wants to come in on our adventure? He's just a random brat Region side and I can't let him find out what we're doing. Arven thought to himself, "Well, this adventure ain't for the faint hearted, it's dangerous and could lead to injury, damage to belongings and-"
"Sure, welcome aboard! I've been curious about your school for a long while since I got here!" Ash says as Arven stared on blankly.
Dang it little buddy!" Arven says but he shakes his head and gives a twitching smile, "Alright Cripin, welcome aboard the Naranja train, just make sure you don't get yourself hurt or nothing." Arven says with a hidden low tone as he walks away with Gogoat following behind, but the others don't notice.
"Your friend sure is bright." Crispin says happily as Ash nods and Ash waves to the group goodbye as they waved back, Nemona got up from her bench and went to Sarah with a confident smirk.
"You up for our battle Sarah? me and my Pokemon have been training hard!" Nemona said confidently as Sarah smirks.
"You know it." Sarah says as they got into position while the rest of the gang watch from a distance. (A/N: I was going to write the battle here but to not drag the chapter out and the fact I don't know where to place this fight, it will be shown in a side story.)
We see Ash, Crispin and Arven walking through the halls disguising their adventures as Arven looks at Crispin with jealousy.
"So, your school is in the Unova Region right and you said you specialized in double battles?" Ash says as Crispin nods.
"That's right, our school in the Unova region is one of two international sister schools of the Naranja school system created to establish international connections throughout different school systems, that and our headmaster is a good friend of your headmaster. Our school was created to be more challenging by specializing in double battles which are more difficult for one person because you have to manage your strategies but I'm sure this ain't difficult for someone like you?" Crispin says as Ash nods.
"Not a problem!"
"Well, that's good because I'm looking for a challenge." Crispin says fired up with fire in his eyes.
"Then I suggest a double battle after this adventure!" Ash says as Crispin nods.
"You got yourself a deal! But you might have to wait till tomorrow, I have to do some arrands in a bit." Crispin says with fire in his voice as Arven stared on blankly as Crispin and Ash talked on, but Crispin turns to Arven, "Say Arven, was there anything you wanted to ask me?" Crispin says as Arven woke up from his trance and sighed.
Well, I'm not a monster so I might as well. Arven says as he looked to Crispin, "So, why are you curious about the Herba Mystica anyway?" Arven asked as Crispin thinks.
"Well, in truth, the Herba Mystica is much rarer outside the Region and as a cook, I want to try using the Herba Mystica for my recipes and see if people like em." Crispin says as Ash got curious.
"You guys don't have Herba Mystica in your Region?" Ash says as Arven shakes his head.
"Not exactly, Herba Mystica though their origins are unknown are said to have originated from the depths of Area Zero and Tera energy helped cultivate it's said to have grown outside of Area Zero through unknown methods. But when it comes to Blueberry, I heard you guys somehow manage to use our Terastal energy for something, I take it it's that Teraium isn't it?" Arven says as Crispin nods.
"Guilty as charged, our headmaster loved Paldea's Tera energy so much that he took some of your Tera crystals and managed to make it his own. Herba Mystica does grow in our Teraium but they're rarer there compared to here which is why I too intrest in your adventure." Crispin says as Ash and Arven shook their heads in understanding and kept on walking until Arven had another question.
"Do you guys have Champion rankings like we do if you're associated with our schools?" Arven says as Crispin nods.
"Yep, though it works a bit differently over in Unova. At Blueberry, we do have Champion rankings but there are 5 main Champion rankings instead of two with the first 4 being for our very own Elite Four and the 5th being our Champion of the academy and to be apart of this League, you have to join the League Club where only the strongest make it in." Crispin says as both Ash, Pikachu and Arven were curious.
"Your very own Elite Four?" Ash says as Crispin nods.
"Yep, it was an idea from our headmaster to have a league within our school since we're so far away from the mainland." Crispin says as he displays the academy which surprised Ash, Pikachu and Arven as they saw what appeared to be an island, but other images show a wild area underwater.
"Your school's on an island and you have an underwater wild area?!" Ash and Arven said surprised as Crispin nods again.
"Yep, our school is in the ocean miles away from the closest city which is Castelia City. The Elite Four consists of me, Crispin Sparks, the energetic pest of Fire Specialty. The beautiful Lacey who specializes in Fairy types who finds everything cute and hides an interesting secret, the girl who may appear cold on the outside, but she is caring, you just got to know her a bit better, Amarys of the Steel type and she formly went to Uva long ago. Lastly, our energetic captain of the Boxing club, the electrifying Denki. And our lazy Champion Drayton. Those who enter the League can fight through a series of trials and face us and those who manage to defeat the Champion, earn the spot and those 4th members of the Elite Four are kicked out of their spot and the previous Champion joins the Elite Four but previous E4 members still have a spot in our club as Champion trainers but not to the same level as the E4 and Champion." Crispin says Ash and Arven were processing the information but both trainers couldn't help but notice the part where Crispin said he was a pest with hidden sadness to that part.
Before the two could say anything else, Saguaro walks by searching for someone until he sees Ash and walks over to him. "Master Ash!" Saguaro says as Ash and the 3 trainers turn to Saguaro who seems to be panicked.
"Mr. Saguaro, is there a problem? You look panicked." Ash says as Saguaro shakes his head.
"Oh, nothing me boy, just a bit stressed out, but I was wondering if you could help me with a task at the orphanage?" Saguaro asked as Ash looked on and also got Quaxwell's attention as he came out of his Pokeball.
"Me at the orphanage?" Ash asked.
"Yes, my children over there are big fans but there's this one girl who needs cheering up over her illness." Saguaro asked as Ash looked to Arven.
"You don't mind if we take one extra trip?" Ash asked as Arven sighs, though disappointed does nod understandingly.
"Not at all Ash." Arven says as the 3 trainers and their Pokemon walk off with Saguaro to Saguaro's orphanage.
We see the 4 trainers walk through the town as Ash was curious as to what's going on.
"Say Mr. Saguaro, who is this girl who needs cheering up?" Ash says as Saguaro pulls up a picture of her resembling a girl around the age of 5-8 with light dark skin and a bright smile.
"This is Rosie, she's 7 years old and our bright light to everyone's day cheerful no matter what but around 6 months ago, she fell ill, and it wasn't like any regular flu we've ever seen. Nurse Joy for all her efforts couldn't heal and many of our medicine just isn't doing the trick. Her immune system's defenses are more lowered and her and since then, Rosie feels depressed and even isolated herself from others feeling like she's given up." Saguaro says as the 3 trainers looked on in understanding, but Arven seems to have heard these symptoms before and looks through his Scarlet book once more.
The 4 eventually arrive to the orphanage and Saguaro opens the door with a bright smile.
"Children, I'm home and I brought a special guest!" Saguaro says as the children came running own excited and Ash counts 12 children and 3 caretakers including a Nurse Joy and the children ranged from 4 to 15 at least from what Ash could see. Quaxwell also sees his old friends back when they were thieves as Quaxwell teared up and the Pokemon ran towards Quaxwell to tackle him.
"It's the Pokemon from before." Ash says surprised as Saguaro chuckled.
"Indeed, I decided to raise them in the orphanage alongside the children so they can find new homes one day and they've been great here." Saguaro says as two more children appearing to be twins dragging a familiar individual with their Weavile.
"C'mon Gi-Gi, there are guests here." the twins said as the boy chuckles.
"I'm coming, I'm coming, haha." the boy said chuckling as he's revealed to be Giacomo surprising Ash, "Ash?" Giacomo says shocked.
"Giacomo? What are you doing here?" Ash says as Giacomo readjusts himself and nods.
"I decided that I needed to catch up on extra credit and also take part in 'community service' so I decided to help out here and it's great, it's helping me calm my nerves but still keeping my fiery spirit and a love of music." Giacomo said with fire in his eyes. As they were conversing, a young boy shakes Saguaro pants and Saguaro leans down.
"What seems to be the problem, Jack?" Saguaro asks.
"Can we see Mr. Ash's Pokemon?" Jack says as Saguaro thinks.
"Well-" Saguaro didn't finish as Ash overheard and turn to the young boy.
"Of course you can, there just needs to be an open area." Ash says as Giacomo opens the backdoors.
"Conveniently, we have a large play area for the kids and Pokemon." Giacomo says as he leads everyone to the outside as Ash smiles.
"Now we're talking, alright, let me introduce you to my friends!" Ash says throwing his Pokeballs in the air sending out his remaining 5 Pokemon with Pikachu and Quaxwell joining the Pokemon as the children awed in surprise and went to see the Pokemon.
"One at a time please and don't overwhelm them!" Saguaro says as he looks to Arven and Crispin, "Please, feel free to join in as well." Saguaro says to them as Arven sighed with a smile and Crispin nodded.
"Well, alright. C'mon out everyone." Arven says sending out Sneasel, Gogoat and Applin as he looks to his 4th Pokeball and looks at it with a sad smile.
Sorry Mabosstiff, I want to send you out but you're not in a condition to be out right now and I don't want to overwhelm you. Arven thought to himself as Crispin sends out his Pokemon, Magmortar, Blaziken, Eggexcutor and Blaze Tauros as Crispin turns to Ash with a smirk.
"My last two are part of our battle later, I shouldn't spoil it." Crispin says as Ash nods and looks to Saguaro.
"So, who might be Rosie? I want to cheer her up alongside Pikachu." Ash says as Pikachu climbs onto Ash's shoulder and Saguaro nods.
"Right this way." Saguaro says as both Ash and Saguaro enter into the orphanage, and they walk up the stairs, "Now I'm sure that when she sees you, she'll be enthusiastic to see you." Saguaro says as they reach Rosie's door and Saguaro knocks on it.
"Rosie, I have a special guest who's ready to see you. Do you want to see him?" Saguaro says as there was silence for the next couple of moments until a faint whisper was heard.
"Come." Rosie said faintly as Saguaro opens the door and walk in showing her room which looked pink, but Rosie looked depressed, emotionless even. Her eyes appeared dull almost defeated in a way as Saguaro looked on worried and Ash looked concerned.
"Rosie, good morning my little rose?" Saguaro said as Rosie looked to her father figure coldly.
"Dead." Rosie said surprising Ash, Pikachu and Saguaro.
I wasn't expecting a little kid to say 'dead'. Maybe I should try introducing myself. Ash thought to himself as he went to Rosie with an optimistic smile, "Hi there Rosie, my name is Ash Ketchum and I'm from Pallet Town in the Kanto Region and this here is my partner Pikachu."
"Pikachu."
"I came by for a special visit with everyone at the orphanage and I was especially curious to see if you want to come out and join everybody?" Ash asked as Rosie turned away sadly.
"What's the point, I'm sick, everytime I try to move my stomach hurts and body starts to shiver despite it not being cold out and all the medicine hasn't been working. I give up, it's not gonna do anything. I'll just be sick forever until the day I-" Rosie was stopped by Saguaro who looked concerned.
"Now don't finish that sentence! You will get better, and I will find you a cure and once it's all over, you can be yourself again." Saguaro says as Rosie had a faint smile but gave it up for a sad look as Ash remembers something about the illness.
Wait a sec, shivering, uncurable. It sounds similar to what Arven's Mabosstiff is going through but Mabosstiff was attacked by Koraidon and Miraidon right? So, there's no way that some little girl would be sick like this, unless it's a rare illness. Ash thought to himself until he came up with something.
"Say Mr. Saguaro, wouldn't some Herba Mystica help with Rosie's illness by putting it into a food?" Ash says as Saguaro thinks and nods.
"Yes, but I don't have any on me at the moment." Saguaro says as footsteps were heard, and Arven and Crispin were seen at the door.
"Then some Herba Mystica from Klawf could help alongside my Herba Mystica from the Bombirdier Titan. We could go get it for you." Arven says as Saguaro looked shocked.
"I couldn't possibly ask you to find some on my behalf and it's too reckles- Wait, did you say you fought Bombirdier!?" Saguaro says in shock as Arven nods.
"And I helped too." Ash says as Saguaro shakes his head.
"No, it's too dangerous!" Saguaro said with worry.
"Please just trust them!" Giacomo said walking up the stairs, "I know it's too dangerous for them. But I know Ash is capable of fighting strong foes and I think you know that too right?" Giacomo says as Saguaro stays silent and nods.
"Yes but-"
"But he's not just a child, I can tell he took on a lot of things and Arven here looks like an expertise on these Titan fellows. You got to trust them; they can help find a way to cure Rosie, you trust them, right?" Giacomo says as Saguaro stays silent once more before nodding but he looked concerned.
"I do, it's just-" Saguaro stops as Arven can see right through him.
"You're concerned about losing a student aren't you and I don't blame you, but you got to put your trust in us." Arven says as Saguaro looked surprised but eventually nodded and sent out his Vespiquen.
"Alright, I trust you. But at least let me get my potions for your journey, I'll have one of Vespiquen's Combee's accompany you like with your ingredient assignment, if things go dangerous, I'll come over with help right away. Don't be reckless, understood?" Saguaro said sternly as Ash, Crispin and Arven nod and Saguaro softly smiles.
"Good, stay safe you 3." Saguaro says as he goes down the hall with Giacomo to search for potions as Ash turns to Rosie who was secretly eavesdropping but turns away as Ash softly smiles.
"Say Rosie, is there something you wanted to do prior to your illness?" Ash asked as Rosie was surprised but reluctantly nodded.
"I- I- I wanted to see the sunset with my family on a nice day." Rosie said as Ash nods.
"Then I'll help you see this sunset by the end of the day." Ash says with determination as Rosie looks on with awe in her eyes and tears up as she smiles brightly.
We see Ash, Pikachu, the Combee, Quaxwell, Arven and Morada outside the orphanage where Crispin, Saguaro and the children all stood outside as Ash and Arven were prepared to leave.
"Are you sure you don't want to come with us Crispin, I'm curious to see what you're like in battle?" Ash says as Crispin shook his head.
"By the looks of it, going by Arven's expression, he looks determined to get this Herba Mystica and I don't want to intrude like I usually do-" Crispin didn't finish as Arven butts in.
"You're not intruding, honestly, you sound like an honest, hot-blooded individual like Ash. You sound like you wanted company without feeling like a pest, I'm guessing that's why you were curious about us?" Arven said as Crispin's eyes sparkle and nods.
"You read my mind. You guys just go on and handle your mission, I'll stay here, and I'll help make you recipe with your Herba Mystica that can help Rosie." Crispin says as Ash and Arven nods with determination and walk off as the children cheer on and Saguaro gave an approving nod as they walk off. They make it to the east Mezagoza gate prepared to go through, but Arven and Quacwell both looked nervous, and Ash took notice.
"Arven, Quaxwell, are you ok?" Ash asked as Arven and Quaxwell shivered but sighed.
"Well- it's just- the last time I brought you here, I was so focused on trying to find a way to help Mabosstiff that I didn't have time to tell you about the Titan and get your number and as a result, I got you guys hurt and made Quaxwell lose control over himself. It's my fault for getting you hurt so I'm scared of letting you get hurt again." Arven said with a regretful tone as Morada pats Arven on the back and Ash looks to the two of them and sees the regretful looks on the both of them and sighs.
"So that's what it's about." Ash says as he crouches down to Quaxwell's level and softly smiles to the duck Pokemon who was looking away, "Quaxwell, everything will be alright, I'll be by your side making sure you don't lose yourself again over fear, we'll help make it through it, right Pikachu!" Ash says with encouragement.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said encouragingly as well as Quaxwell got some confidence and nodded as Ash gets back up.
"Arven, last time wasn't your fault, you were just finding a way to help Mabosstiff. But I feel confident we'll make it through this one. We've fought one Titan before, what's stopping us from taking on another?" Ash says as Arven looks on at Ash with surprise but gratitude as Arven nods.
"You're right, Ash. Let's go handle this beast!" Arven says as both trainers and their Pokemon walk through the doors leading to the Vast Beyond with a new sense of determination.
We see Ash and Arven on their Koraidon and Gogoat respectively looking at a map on their phones and discussing their plans as Pikachu, Quaxwell and Morada were getting some quick training done.
"Alright, to make sure we don't have this incident happen again, I looked over the map of the Vast Beyond, it covers a wide majority of the South Province but is usually split into two sections, the western half which is dominated by these orange cliffs while the eastern half tones this down while also providing greenery and some towns but Klawf in general has been spotted around the western half and the Titan can be identified by the lighter green bushes on its claws compared to James's Klawf." Arven says as Ash nods.
"So, we should spread out in search of this particular Klawf?" Ash says.
"Yes- I mean no! Last time we did this, I got you hurt because of me and so I think we should stick together." Arven insisted but Ash shook his head.
"But if we cover more ground by splitting up, we'll find the Titan in no time. Besides, we learned from last time, we have each other's numbers so if we find the Titan, we'll call each other." Ash says as Arven attempted to protest but couldn't find the words and ultimately sighed.
"Alright, we'll call each other when we find the Titan. Just be careful though, Klawf are known to hang around cliffs and come down when the blood rushes to their head so be alert." Arven says as Ash nods and they proceed to split off with the Combee going with Arven.
We see Ash and his Pokemon traversing through the northern half of the Vast Beyond searching for Klawf, the hills were large and orange in color with a variety of Pokemon such as Litleo, Charcadet, Nacli, and co as Ash admires the ecology of the Vast Beyond.
"The Vast Beyond is certainly well vast, full of Pokemon and atmospheric." Ash says.
"Pika/Don/Quax." Ash's Pokemon say as they continue to look around and try to find the Titan, they searched far and wide in search of the Pokemon as Ash began to think.
So, this Titan has lighter green bushes compared to a regular Klawf, they like to hang out on cliffsides and can be easily recognized on cliffsides if it looks like it's protruding off the sides and cliffs. Got it! Ash thought to himself as he looked to his Pokemon.
"Alright, use your moves to find Klawf!" Ash says as his Pokemon nod and Quaxwell begins with a nearby rock protrusion with bushes and uses Aqua Cutter to slice at it only for it to be just a bush. Pikachu uses Quick Attack against one of the bushes and once again, nothing happened.
"They must be somewhere, I'm sure we can expose his position somehow. Maybe that one's it?" Ash says as he notices a unique protrusion on the cliff above and sees an opportunity, "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt against that protrusion!" Ash says as Pikachu nods and launches a fierce lightning bolt to the protrusion which falls down to reveal nothing disappointing Ash.
"Man, and I was so close!" Ash says but just as he was saying so, noise was heard nearby getting their attention. It was then two protrusions appeared from the sight of two cliffs and jumped down getting everyone's attentions.
"Jump out of the way!" Ash says as all 4 of them jump out of the way and were surrounded by two large Klawfs that had no light green on their bushes as Ash appeared shocked.
"Those Klawf! Was this a trap set by them!?" Ash said as Quaxwell and Pikachu prepared themselves as Ash gritted his teeth, "Prepare yourselves Pikachu and Quaxwell, looks like we'll be in for a bumpy ride!" Ash says as the Pokemon nod.
Meanwhile, we see Arven, Gogoat, Appy (who was on Arven's lap) and Morada exploring the southern half of the Vast Beyond seemingly nervous about something as Morada checked the bushes for Klawf, Arven (who's hands were on Gogoat's horns) felt a strange aura from Gogoat's horns indicating that Gogoat could tell how Arven was feeling as he took notice.
"Goat?" Gogoat asked her trainer.
"So, you read my feelings huh girl? Yeah, I know Ash told me I shouldn't worry about him, but I still feel guilty about what happened before, I mean- what if he gets hurt again and I wasn't there to stop Klawf and what if I'm not strong enough to face Klawf or have the confidence like him?" Arven says as he worries about himself. As they were walking however, some eyes appeared on the rocks which turned to look at Arven and his Pokemon and prepared to jump high in the air as Gogoat sensed it.
"Goat!" Gogoat said to Morada and Combee as they both jumped out of the way to avoid the oncoming Pokemon but as they did Arven and Appy fell off of Gogoat and looked on in awe over the titanic Klawf and looked at it.'
"This has to be it, the gigantic size, the light green bushes, this is the Titan Pokemon." Arven says as he trembles a bit but tries to stay confident as he grabs his Rotom phone and attempts to call Ash but after a little while, he didn't pick up worrying Arven. "Ash, Ash!? Oh no, Ash what happened!?" Arven says as he's now face to face with a giant.
Meanwhile, Pikachu and Quaxwell were facing off against the two Klawfs that are causing them trouble as they were trying to be careful of them and Ash was thinking of a plan.
"Pikachu use Iron Tail on the ground and Quaxwell use Rapid Spin to build up a dust storm!" Ash says as his Pokemon nod and Pikachu slams his tail onto the ground causing dust to appear from the ground and covering Klawf's view while Quaxwell spins fastly causing dust that also covered the 2nd Klawf's view as Ash sees an opportunity.
"Alright Pikachu use Iron Tail from above and Quaxwell, use Low Sweep from behind!" Ash says as Pikachu nods and jumps from a nearby rock and uses his metallicized tail onto Klawf's head slamming them towards the ground while Quaxwell uses their swift movements from Rapid Spin to rush Klawf from behind and sweep them to the ground. Ash smiles towards this victory.
"Alright now we can get through to the Titan, hmm? Arven must've called, he must've found the Titan or something, c'mon let's get going." Ash says as his Pokemon nod but as they were doing so, a 3rd Klawf seemingly comes down from the ceiling of the cliff and rushes down prepared to use Throat Chop on Quaxwell as Ash noticed too late and tried to reach out to him but before Klawf could land the attack, Pikachu shoves Quaxwell out of the way and Klawf hit's Pikachu instead sending flying towards a nearby rock as Ash and Quaxwell look on in shock.
"Pikachu!/Quax!/Don!" Ash, Quaxwell and Koraidon say as Ash rushed towards Pikachu to check on him, "His leg, it's injured, it will be alright Pikachu, we'll get you healed." Ash says as Quaxwell breathed heavily and in a panicked state as he starts getting images in his head of him as a Quaxly protected by Steenee as he sees a defeated Toxel who was picked up by the leg by Quaxwell's former trainer.
"You're all so weak, Quaxly, Steenee and even you Toxel. You couldn't win one single battle, how weak, I think it's best that I get rid of you weakings." the trainer said as he took away Toxel as Quaxly broke out of Steenee's grasps and tried to reach out to the Baby Pokemon but by then, the trainer and the Pokemon disappeared through the door of light and when Quaxly went through, he was back to reality as a Quaxwell as the 3rd Klawf walked towards Ash and Pikachu and Koraidon could do nothing as he had a lack of strength to push Klawf out of the way.
Fear overtook the Practicing Pokemon as he breathed heavily and started to panic before eventually water surrounded the Pokemon and activated his Torrent Ability thus succuming to the fear and entering a state of rage and fear.
"Quaxwell!" Quaxwell yelled out getting everyone's attention as Ash panics.
"Oh no, you're in Torrent!" Ash says as Quaxwell rushes towards Klawf but before Klawf could strike, Quaxwell struck Klawf with a swift and powerful Low Sweep sending Klawf flying towards a wall as Quaxwell angrily rushes towards the Klawf and kicked him angrily as the other Klawf were scared of Quaxwell's might and ran off and Quaxwell didn't hold any punches (or I guess kicks) as Quaxwell attacked with Aqua Cutter sending Klawf flying once more. Klawf started to panic and back up against a wall as the uncontrollable might of Quaxwell walked slowly towards Klawf as Ash and Pikachu panic.
"Quaxwell that's enough! Leave them be, everything's alright!" Ash yelled out trying to calm Quaxwell as Quaxwell turned to Ash and Pikachu who in his eyes are shadowy blobs trying to reach Quaxwell making Quaxwell unable to tell friend or foe as Quaxwell appeared to be panicked and Pikachu took notice winding his tail in order to defend Ash, but Ash looks to Pikachu with a sense of calm.
"Don't Pikachu, I got this." Ash says to his day 1 partner who nods, and Ash opens his arms to Quaxwell who looked confused and still afraid but also struggling to break out of this fear and calm down to face reality, but Ash remained calm and looked to Quaxwell warmly. "Quaxwell, I know you're afraid and I presume what happened to you is causing your fear to overcome you but I'm here and if you need to let out your anger go ahead! I'm right here for you!" Ash says holding out his arms as Quaxwell uses Aqua Jet and launches towards Ash but as he lands a hit on Ash, Ash hugged Quaxwell tightly as Quaxwell appeared confused.
"Quax?"
"I know, I know, me, Pikachu and Koraidon are here for you. I know what happened to you in your past wasn't easy and maybe that's why you're acting this way and I know that you're afraid of losing the people who mean the most to you, but I promise you, we'll help you overcome your fear, I'll help you calm your Torrent, I'll do everything I can to help you overcome your fear no matter how long it takes. I know we can fight it just wake up Quaxly and see us!" Ash says as Quaxwell still appeared angry but started to calm down upon hearing Ash's words before eventually, the water disappeared.
"Quaxwell?" Ash says as he sees Quaxwell who cries into Ash's shirt out of shame as Ash hugs him softly, "There, there, everything will be alright." Ash says as Pikachu pats Quaxwell on the back and Quaxwell calms down but before everyone could relax, Koraidon senses something and nudges Ash as Koraidon points to Arven's direction insistently as Ash took notice.
"Something's up Koraidon? Is Arven in danger!?" Ash says now panicked as Quaxwell and Pikachu look up and appeared more alert as Koraidon nods, "Alright, let's get to them. Quaxwell, are you up to this?" Ash asked as Quaxwell was stunned but nodded as the 3 get on Koraidon and go to save Arven.
We see Arven unsure of what to do as he was by himself until Morada nudged him and got back to his senses and got off of Gogoat, he placed Appy onto Gogoat's head.
"Alright, I'll try, Morada use Brick Break!" Arven says as Morada nods and jumps onto some nearby rocks preparing to attack the Titan as Klawf prepared to use Metal Claw as Arven focuses on that claw. "Quick Appy use Tera Blast on Klawf and Energy Ball Gogoat!" Arven says as both Pokemon nod and launched their blast attacks at Klawf who felt unaffected and not even bothered as they clash with Morada's Brick Break. Arven looked unsure of what to do next and looked around.
What can I do, Ash is a better battler than me, should I stall until he arrives, why can't I be like Ash- wait, Klawf is distracted at the moment and its belly is the key! Arven thought to himself as he nods and calls out his next attack. "Alright, Gogoat, Aerial Ace on Klawf's stomach!" Arven says as Gogoat nods and rushes towards Klawf's belly at quick speed striking at full force sending them back.
"Now use Pounce Appy!" Arven says as Appy nodded and his body glows and lunged at Klawf which although it didn't do too much damage, it did send Klawf on its back as Arven looked relieved. "I don't believe it, I stopped a Titan, that easily. I actually- wait!" Arven says as Klawf's body began to glow and eventually exploded sending Klawf in the air and back to the ground as orange and blue aura appeared around Klawf as Arven looked shocked.
"What the- that burst of energy, it's aura, it has Anger Shell so it's attacking power and speed are powered up but is defensively weak. This is bad!" Arven says as Klawf dashed around at fast speed surrounding the group as a dust storm was created and Klawf dashed off. Gogoat noticed and pointed to Klawf's direction.
"Klawf's getting away, let's go!" Arven says as everyone gets on Gogoat and rushes towards Klawf's direction at quick speed, the Klawf was fast due to the boosts it received from Anger Shell, but Gogoat was close behind. Eventually it reaches a wall and smashes it to reveal pink herbs that it munches down on which Arven takes notice of.
"Those herbs, those are Sweet Herba Mystica! Just what we needed!" Arven said but Gogoat nudges towards a powered up Klawf and Arven sighs, "I know, Morada, use Seed Bomb!" Arven says as Gogoat launches large seeds out of her mouth to launch at Klawf but it dodges quickly and prepared to strike the group with Shadow Claw, but Gogoat uses her strength to push back Klawf's claw.
"Gogoat! That's the spirit, now use Aerial Ace to push em back!" Arven says as Gogoat nods and uses her strength to push back Klawf's claw and Morada sees an opportunity for an attack and jumps in the air behind Klawf's back. "Metal Claw!" Arven says as Morada nods and her claw glows with a metallic hue and prepared to strike at Klawf but just as she was about to strike, Klawf's eye turn backwards towards Morada and shifted his Shadow Claw towards Morada striking her leg and sending her flying towards a wall similar to Pikachu as Arven panics.
"MORADA!" Arven yelled out in worry for her and ran towards her to check on her as Klawf looked to Arven and prepared to rush at them. Applin shifted his eyes to Gogoat.
"Appl!" Appy said as he moved his body to indicate a plan of his as Gogoat nodded and used all her strength to throw Applin onto Klawf's head as Klawf focused on trying to remove the small Dragon type off of his head as Arven shook and teared up slightly.
"This is my fault, I let you get hurt because of me again. I'm supposed to be making this up to Ash and helping Mabosstiff but if I can't focus on getting stronger like him and looking out for my Pokemon, then what am I!?" Arven says as Morada pats Arven with a calm, reassuring smile on her face as Gogoat goes to her trainer.
"Gogo!" Gogoat said to her trainer as he tearfully looked up.
"I know I'm supposed to be trying but I can't, I'm not that strong." Arven says as Gogoat shook her head.
"Goat, GoGoat!" Gogoat said encouraging him, but it seemingly didn't work.
"What can I do huh? I'm not battling genius like Ash, a go-getter like Nemona or a genius like Penny. I'm just me, someone weak and someone who can't save their own Pokemon, I'm just- me." Arven says as Gogoat uses her vines to pat Arven on the shoulder as soon as he said 'me' confusing Arven. "What is it girl?" Arven says as Gogoat pointed towards Arven with her vines really confusing him.
"What do you mean me? Is there something on me or is there something about... me. There's something about me?" Arven says slowly getting it as Gogoat and Morada encouraged him to keep going.
"I'm me, I'm always me. Of course, I'm not like Ash, Penny or Nemona, I'm just me. Someone who has to be themself in order to get by, I'm not going to be like any of them just by trying to copy them, I just have to try myself!" Arven says as he lays Morada down at a nearby rock and bandaged her leg before looking towards Klawf who was still struggling to get Appy off of him.
"Appy! Prepare to jump when Gogoat comes by!" Arven says as Appy nods and Arven prepared himself, "Gogoat use Aerial Ace!" Arven says as Gogoat nods and rushes towards Klawf when all of a sudden, her body glows a light brown and Appy jumps as Gogoat rams into Klawf at full power sending it back by a huge margin and she catches Appy as Arven looks on impressed.
"That's High Horsepower, amazing Gogoat!" Arven says as Gogoat rushes back to Arven Appy and Morada cheer her own, Arven pats Gogoat and she appreciates it as Klawf gets back up and rushes at the group with it's own High Horsepower as Gogoat prepares herself and Arven nods. "Alright, I'll give you the go-ahead, use High Horsepower!" Arven says as Gogoay nods and rushes at Klawf colliding with them as they struggle for power. It seems things were dire until.
"Don!" a voice was heard out as Koraidon rushed in and used all of their strength to push Klawf back surprising the group as Koraidon lands down tired and fatigued as Ash and Quaxwell jump off of Koraidon and Ash pats them.
"Thank you for your help, rest here and protect Pikachu alright." Ash says as Koraidon nods and Pikachu stays with Koraidon to let his body rest and joins up with Arven.
"Tht's some amazing battling there Arven, that's the spirit!" Ash says as Arven is surprised but smiles with confidence.
"Well, I learn from the best. Ready to take down Klawf?" Arven says as Ash nods.
"You know it, what's the plan?" Ash says.
"Alright, Klawf's eyes can see all around him so it's hard to find a blind spot but I'm thinking if you could send a Pokemon out to attack from behind, we could have an advantage in this fight." Arven says as Ash nods and looks to his Pokeball.
"Alright Cyclizar, I want you to try to get behind Klawf and prepare a Breaking Swipe on Klawf, on it?" Ash says as his Pokeball shakes in approval and Ash sends out Cyclizar who rushes away before Klawf could notice.
"For now, we need to draw in Klawf's attention and try to attack when we have the chance, so I'll go ahead first, Gogoat use Seed Bomb!" Arven says as Gogoat nods and launches several large seeds towards Klawf who creates multiple stones and launches Rock Slide as it collides with Seed Bomb creating a puff of smoke which is when Ash sees an opportunity.
"Aqua Jet Quaxwell!" Ash says as Quaxwell nods and launches himself in a watery veil through the smoke surprising Klawf who didn't have enough time to cover their underbelly and was hit. Klawf was angry and prepared a Shadow Claw. "Dodge it!" Ash yelled out as Quaxwell jumped quickly avoiding the Shadow Claw as Ash prepared for another attack.
"Aqua Cutter!" Ash says as Quaxwell jumped in the air preparing to slash at Klawf with his watery leg blades, but Klawf blocked it which allowed Arven another opportunity.
"High Horsepower!" Arven says as Gogoat nods and rushed to the right of Klawf preparing to ram Klawf who notices and blocks the attack as Klawf was blocking both attacks. Both trainers attempted to think of a plan before Ash sees another opportunity.
"Quaxwell, rush to the ground then use Aqua Jet after that!" Ash says as Quaxwell nods and quickly hops down from Klawf's arm and rushes at Klawf with Aqua Jet staggering him. Cyclizar makes it to a cliff behind Klawf and jumps in the air with his tail glowing preparing to strike.
"Now!" Ash says as Klawf notices and quickly blocks with Metal Claw as both trainers see their opportunity. "It's now or never little buddy" Arven says as Ash nods.
"Right! Quaxwell use Aqua Jet!" Ash says as Quaxwell nods and rushes at Klawf with a watery veil as Klawf notices and Cyclizar jumps away but Klawf was too late to block as Quaxwell landed on Klawf's stomach staggering it once more as Arven sees his opprtunity.
"Use High Horsepower Gogoat!" Arven says as Gogoat nods and rushes at Klawf as Gogoat rams into Klawf at full force sending Klawf towards a wall and knocking them out. Ash and Arven looked on in curiosity as they wonder if it was over.
"Is it-" Ash didn't finish as Klawf's body glowed and both braced for the worst, but Klawf's body shrinks down to normal size, still larger than most Klawf's but still large as they run off. Both trainers fall to the ground and had a good laugh as they relaxed during that moment.
"That's two down, three to go right?" Ash says as Arven nodded.
"Yep, let's go see what Klawf's been hiding." Arven says as Ash nods in understanding and went into the cave with their Pokemon.
They set up their table and got out all of their Pokemon who waited patiently as Arven picked out some Herba Mystica and put it into saltshakers as Arven gave some to Ash.
"Here we are Ash, I figured you might need some Herba Mystica of your own for being a good little buddy and some for Crispin. This Herba Mystica helps ones digestive system" Arven says as Ash nods in approval.
"Thanks Arven." Ash says as Arven nods.
"Gladly, now sit back and enjoy the show. HEYAHH!" Arven shouted and through some efforts, he made a tasty sandwich using the ingredients provided as Ash and the crew look on in awe over the delicious sandwiches as Arven passed them around to everyone. "Alright, dig in because I did my best to-" Arven didn't finish as he sees everyone chowing down on their sandwiches making Arven stare blankly at them.
"I was about to make an inspiring speech!" Arven says disappointingly but it seems everyone's enjoying so Arven softly sighed and let it go. Ash looked to his Koraidon and softly smiled.
"Are you enjoying the sandwich Koraidon?" Ash asked as Koraidon nodded and all of a sudden, its body starts to glow again alerting everyone.
"Koraidon's glowing again!" Arvehn says as the glow disappeared and the gang wonder what power they got back.
"Did something in your body change? Want to test it out?" Ash says as Koraidon nods and looks to Cyclizar.
"Don." Koraidon says to Cyclizar as it nods and gets into position near the cave entrance as both Ash and Arven go to see what they're doing. Both Pokemon run at the speed of sound with both Pokemon being at equal speed which is when Koraidon dashes boosting its speed and making it faster than Cyclizar as it rushes back to the gang, Cyclizar looks determined to surpass Koraidon in the future with it's grin either way, the gang look on impressed.
"That speed, it's boost in its speed. Koraidon got it's-"
"-dashing ability back!" a voice was heard as Jim the camera appears from Koraidon's scale as Arven looked comedically angry.
"Dangit Dad, stop stealing my Thunderbolt!" Arven says as Turo laughs from the otherside.
"Sorry I love doing that, it seems like Koraidon is able to dash around at high speeds and thanks to testing back in Area Zero, it doesn't get tired easily, well of course, it's still tired with its powers missing but their dashing can be useful in emergencies." Turo says eccentrically as Arven sighed.
"Alright then, I got to get to Mabosstiff." Arven says as Jim's wings flickered happily.
"Alright son, I lov-" Turo didn't finish as Arven turned off the camera and put into Koraidon's scale.
"Not going to say, 'love you too'?" Ash says as Arven shook his head.
"Nah, still unsure of him." Arven says.
"What do you think he likes to tinker with?" Ash says as Arven thinks.
"Well, a variety of thins but other than that time machine, I'm sure he's doing nothing dangerous otherwise I'll eat my own sock." Arven says.
Meanwhile in Area Zero, Turo logs off of Jim and sighs, he looks to a picture of a younger Arven with Maschiff, a photo of him and Sada on their wedding day and a group photo of him, Sada and a couple of other students alongside a younger Clavell.
"Times gone by hasn't it Turo?" a deep robotic voice was heard as Turo turns to see a mysterious robotic Pokemon resembling a Cobalion as Turo grabs his tools and works on this robot Cobalion.
"Years, many years. I want to try to apologize to my boy and yet it seems that I've upset him enough for him to hate me." Turo says as he works on the Pokemon. all of a sudden, another Pokemon walks in resembling a Terrakion but also robotic.
"Sir, boss, it seems Miraidon has woken up and is thrashing angrily about Koraidon escaping, shall I knock them out?" the Terrakion says with a Brooklyn accent as Turo shakes his head.
"Leave em be Iron Boulder! I'll deal with them; you scout the parameters of Area Zero and make sure things are in order!" Turo says as Iron Boulder nods and dashes off before turning to Cobalion.
"Iron Crown, I have a special task for you. I want you to search for the Iron Valiant that's outside Area Zero and bring em to me. It seems they have information about the future that no other Future Paradox seems to have especially about Terapagos, those Pokemon will be useful especially Terapagos. Retreat if Valiant puts up a challenge." Turo says sternly as Crown nodded.
"And Iron Leaves?" Iron Crown says as Turo shakes his head.
"Leave them be, I'm sure their investigation into the Swords of Justice in the Crown Tundra is coming to an end soon enough." Turo says.
"And if the trainers interfere?" Crown said as Turo turned around instantly and looked at him angrily.
"Leave them be! If you lay a hand on Arven's friends, I will send you back to the place you're from and if you hurt or kill my boy or his friends. I will destroy all 3 of you with an iron fist and make sure you tell that to Iron Leaves; you know how battle crazy they get. Do I make myself clear?" Turo said in a scary tone as Crown didn't flinch but nodded.
"Your wish is my command." Crown said calmly as Crown rushes off and Turo calmed down and sighed before looking to Arven's picture.
It seems my research here will be worth it. It seems there's more to these books that not everyone knows. Sada thinks those Paradoxes are from the past and the future but no, not the past or future but dimensions, alternate timelines and Valiant in particular seems to be from our direct timeline and not another. If I can find this Terapagos and use Valiant's power, I can prevent the disasters of our direct future and prevent incidents of the past, I can be a hero to everyone. Turo thought to himself.
We see Arven helping Mabosstiff eat as Ash and the gang waited patiently for results.
"Take things slowly Mabosstiff, that's right." Arven says as Mabosstiff glows and it disappears as everyone looked on curiously, "I don't see anything on him that could result in a change, his body isn't moving, he's only able to move his paws slightly, maybe I didn't add enough of the Herba Mystica?" Arven says as he goes to his bag to his right but that's when the gang (sans Arven) sees Mabosstiff's head moving.
"Arven, Mabosstiff's head is moving!" Ash says as Arven jumped up and looked to Mabosstiff who's head was turned to Arven's direction.
"You're right it's moving, actually, he's able to open his eyes clearly, his pupils are there instead of appearing grey and he's focused on me. Alright, one experiment." Arven said as he crouches down and holds up his two pointer fingers. "Alright buddy, I'm holding my fingers, I want to follow my fingers to test your vision, can you do that bud?" Arven says as he moves his fingers and Mabosstiff's eyes follow as Arven's tears up and smiles.
"That's it, there we are, I knew it can work!" Arven says as he hugs his day 1 Pokemon as Gogoat, Appy and Morada cheer on and Ash looks and nods in support.
"That's the spirit! Let's aim for those Herba Mysticas!" Ash says as everyone cheered their name excitedly and nod.
A little while later, Ash and Arven return to the worried Saguaro, Crispin and Giacomo as Ash and Arven held up their Herba Mystica and Saguaro smiles warmly as he hugs the two.
"I'm glad your safe, you really didn't have to do all this." Saguaro says as Ash and Arven shook their heads.
"It's the least we could do. Say Crispin, didn't you say you had things to do?" Ash says as Crispin nods.
"Yeah, but it's not until later, I figured I might as well help out with the best medical remedy soup, they say adding Herba Mystica to a hotter recipe will boost the effects of the Herba Mystica." Crispin says as the 5 go inside and got to work. Around 30 minutes later, Ash and Saguaro head up to Rosie's room and knock on the door.
"Rosie, do you want your soup now?" Saguaro says.
"Yes." Rosie said faintly as Ash and Saguaro enter into the girl's room and Rosie once again looked defeated.
"Don't worry Rosie, Ash, Crispin and Arven decided to help you feel better and I'm sure this remedy will cheer you up!" Saguaro says encouragingly as Rosie stared on with a deadpan expression and gave a slight nod as the two placed the food on her table and she walks to it.
"I bet this will fail like the others." Rosie said as she took a bit of her sandwich and had a spoonful of soup as both people waited for Rosie's results but seemingly nothing occurred which disappointed the two.
"I don't understand, I thought it would've work on humans?" Ash says in disbelief as Saguaro pats his back giving him a sad smile.
"Don't put yourself down me boy, you've done your best and that means I'll work hard to find a cure for-" Saguaro didn't finish as they heard sniffling.
"The smell of cheese, the Kalosian fried onions, a hint of rosemary, salt, pepper. I can smell!" Rosie said a bit happily surprising both Ash and Saguaro as Rosie stood up and walked around, "I can walk around without feeling nauseous and lightheaded, my stomach is feeling better, and I can breathe better. I feel- better." Rosie said tearing up as she rushed towards Saguaro who also had a couple tears in eyes as he lifted Rosie up with a tearful smile on his face.
"Really?" Saguaro said with optimism in his voice as Rosie nods, Saguaro turns to Ash with a grateful look. "Thank you so much Ash, you are truly a remarkable student and one remarable champion." Saguaro says as Ash and Pikachu smile.
Later on, at night, Crispin left to handle some business while Saguaro tells Ash and Arven to stay as he's planning a dinner party in celebration of Rosie being healed. We see the party going on as Ash, Arven and Giacomo's Pokemon go and play with the others. Quaxwell reconnects with his friends from his thieving days, Incineroar shows off his impressive strength and coolness to the children while Koraidon, Cyclizar and Gogoat give out rides to the children with Rosie having fun riding on Gogoat finally happy and able to do what she wants.
We see Ash and Pikachu looking over the party from the patio as Saguaro joins him with his Vespiquen by his side.
"Aren't you going to join the party?" Saguaro asked as Ash nods.
"Yeah, but I'll wait a bit, I'm just admiring the view." Ash says as Saguaro nods. "It's impressive how you're able to raise all these children and yet you never seem tired." Ash says as Sguaro chuckles.
"Well, there are moments where I do feel tired but that won't stop me from loving them even when they're away." Saguaro says.
"Do they get adopted?" Ash says as Saguaro stays quiet.
"Well, yes. I've had many people adopt a child here so they can start a new life. Those who're unable to have children, those who want a new member of their family, etc. I want to help those children grow up and find a new home where they can feel happy but even if they aren't adopted, they'll always be family to me even when one is officially adopted. I started this orphanage because I'm tired of seeing children get abandoned by those who should've never had children if they don't care for them, those that don't have a family and those who need the love they never got in the first place." Saguaro says as Ash nods and things are silent for the next couple of minutes until Ash speaks up.
"So, the other day, you mentioned you were the son of Drayden, right?" Ash says as Saguaro nods, "Did you want to become a Dragon trainer like him?" Ash says as Saguaro chuckles.
"Hehe, no not really. I was the only one of 5 siblings to not be interested in Dragonn. Other than me having a Goodra, I was never interested in becoming a Dragon trainer instead my heart focused on cute Pokemon and my love for Fairy types, but father wasn't particularly happy and thus we didn't talk with each other for a while. It wasn't until my mother died and his grandson being born that we started to reconnect and reconciled with him appearing happier but you probably wouldn't tell because of the beard I imagine." Saguaro says chuckling as Ash laughs.
"I can definitely see that." Ash says remembering how he was intimidated by Drayden's structure but also being secretly confused on how his beard works.
"Yeah, I feel happier with the Pokemon I have now, I like Dragon types but I'm not exactly a very scary Dragon trainer, I just love cute Pokemon because that's my instincts and well, I shouldn't be judged for it and I'm glad for the direction I went for." Saguaro says confusing Ash.
"Judged?"
"Let's just say back in the day, there were 'things' you could be judged and made for because you were the opposite gender but nowadays, it's cooled down if you get what I mean." Saguaro says.
"Oh I see."
"Yep, never let anyone deter you from your path, even if someone is in your way, you'll always find your way through." Saguaro says as Ash nods.
Don't let anyone in my way, I'll try hard. Nemona, Arven and Penny have reached 1 half of their goal now I need to continue mine. Geeta said that Rika's doing some battles some time and after looking it up, she'll be in Mirage Town outside of Artazon and Poppy will be in Oresville. Alright, time to put my journey back into motion! Ash thought to himself as he looks at the stars for another adventure.

Phew, that was a long and messy chapter. It's been the hardest chapter to write because there have been so many ideas that I had such as having Ash and Crispin's battle in this chapter and having Crispin join Ash and Arven for fighting Klawf but I wasn't sure how to make the dialogue interesting and connect well so that's why it took a while, so I apologize as well as apologize for how messy this chapter is.
Hopefully, the next chapters aren't going to be as messy. My goal is to write the next chapter before the one-year anniversary of the story (March 3rd) so you can have another chapter while I finish up the semester for now, here's my plans for the next couple of chapters:
Side Story 3: Nemona and Sarah's 1st official battle: the aforementioned battle I didn't have time to write.
Chapter 35: The Art of Battling: Ash and the gang spend one more day in Mezagoza and after Kieran watches Ash's battle with Crispin, Kieran asks Ash (and Nemona) for help in learning how to fight in a Pokemon battle so he isn't seen as a burden to his sister and show his sister how strong he can be as Ash learns the truth of Kieran's champion ranking.
Chapter 36: The path of a Dragon: With the gang on the road again, Ash hopes that Cyclizar and Koraidon (who developed a sort of rivalry) can settle down and train together but as Ash and the gang were traveling to a nearby town, they encounter a duo of students named Lacey and Drayton from Blueberry academy who're here on a trip, the same students mentioned by Crispin which also reveals that Lacey and Nemona are childhood friends and penpals (with Lacey having a shy crush on Arven) and Drayton taking interest in Koraidon as he decides to help Ash settle his rivaling Dragon types.
However, TR seem to be interested in Drayton because of one of his Pokemon, Archaludon.
Chapter 37: Fight the Fear, Take on the World: Ash and co make it to Mirage Town where fans gather to have a battle with Rika where fans are swooning, Penny's crushing and Ash is eager for a battle even if it's not a full one but as they were battling, Quaxwell goes into Torrent fear mode and Ash decides to bring along a special Pokemon (you can probably guess who) to help Quaxwell face his fears alongside Rika (who felt guilty for instigating it) in hopes that Quaxwell can recover.
Chapter 38: The Town of Melancholy: Ash and the gang make it to a town called Sakura Town where Cherry Blossoms bloom and where Enamorus lives, a Legendary Pokemon who protected Paldea long ago from the Artifacts and is said to be releated to the Forces of Nature It's there where they encounter the photographer Alexa (who's here to document the town), her friendly rival Perrin (who takes interest in Ash who resembles someone in her ancestor's photo's) who's here in search of Enamorus and Raifort who's here with her class to look at Enamorus and seemingly has a connection with the Pokemon.
Meanwhile, TR hope to capture Enamorus for their boss.
Chapter 39: Artist (debating if I should have the Gym Battle in this chapter or not): Ash and the gang make it to Artazon but it seems like the town's Gym Leader is depressed so Nemona decides to search for Sunflora for the Gym Challenge. Meanwhile, Penny and Arven encounter the fiery art loving girl from before as Arven connects with her over various types of art including how food can be art (yeah, I'm still working on how I want that chapter to go).
