The Three Legendary Saiyans.
Chapter 58: The Androids Return.
Goku.
Watching Raijin and Kefla from afar made his blood boil with excitement; having used Potara Fusion himself with Vegeta and Raijin both thus Goku knew the incredible powers a fused being like Kefla would possess but his bad habit of allowing others to take a shot at powerful foes first reared its head, watching and sensing the conflicts and the clashing of energy made him all the more excited.
Observing as Raijin was beaten into the ground and Kefla stood over him with her arm raised ready to deliver the strike that would eliminate the Universe 7 Saiyan; Goku put his fingers to his forehead only to teleport the short distance between himself and Kefla, rematerializing next to Kefla and a barely conscious Raijin with his right hand grasping Kefla's arm and holding back her attack.
"Don't you worry Raijin; I'll take it from here" Goku smirked; giving Raijin a thumbs up only to be met with a blank barely conscious expression from Raijin, Goku knew that he'd have to defend Raijin from Kefla's attacks as well as defend himself and that would not be easy.
"Goku… you…" Raijin muttered; realising that Goku had been watching their fight but had not stepped in earlier and that irritated him but his defeat remained as bitter as defeat could be, he wanted to defeat Kefla but he felt whatever lay beyond his limits could have brought him victory
Before Kefla could even take a step towards the newly arrived Saiyan; Goku's entire body burst into a sea of radiant red flames as he stepped out from the fire as a Super Saiyan God, Kefla's own eyes widened at the sight of this new form and the inability to even sense he divine strength of Goku's Form.
Vanishing on spot and disappearing from Kefla's view only to reappear with a punch colliding with Kefla's open left palm; grinning at such a straightforward attack that would never reach her before gripping Goku by his right arm and slamming him down into the ground before thrusting out her right hand towards Raijin and firing one of her Orb Beams with the intent on eliminating him then and there.
Goku flinched in pain from being slammed into the floor; moving his fingers to his forehead as a bluff to catch Kefla's attention which did as she held off her blast in anticipation of Goku teleporting into the beams path only for Goku to instead spin on the spot and drive a spinning double kick to Kefla's unguarded legs and taking them out from under her.
Angry that Goku had landed a hit on her when she was surprised by the distraction; the pink and green flames again igniting and focussing back on her Orb to fire only for a beam from Goku to destroy the Orb before Kefla could attack.
Goku's arms became a blur as he executed hi Flurry Fist's while cloaked in God Ki only for Kefla to slap each fist away with relative ease; shifting from punches to a swift lightning-fast kick to Kefla's neck only for Kefla to execute a roundhouse kick and knock away Goku's own kick further proving her strength.
"God Form won't work… need to go up a level" Goku muttered to himself as he sidestepped Kefla's attempt at a Super Kick and standing between Kefla and the fallen Raijin; taking the kick hard into his abdomen but countering with a flurry of palms that Kefla easily sidestepped only to kick off the ground and skid backwards on her heels as a pair of green and pink energy balls came seemingly from out of nowhere.
Kefla's assault halted as a pair of pink and green energy balls passed in-between Goku and Kefla; Goku tracing the beams to the very dust cloud where The Androids had vanished though he couldn't sense any energy signatures within the cloud he knew exactly who'd intervened.
17 and 18.
The twin coloured blast that took Kefla off-guard came from the remains of the dust cloud where Agnilasa had fallen; two figures stood hunched over and gasping for breath but still standing, the dust settling to reveal Androids 17 and 18, 17's shirt had lost both sleeves and his armband was long gone while 18's pink tracksuit was in tatters but her modesty remained covered up thanks to her sports bra and the tracksuit bottoms only being shredded and burnt as far as her knees and thighs.
"That was too close…" 17 muttered; coughing hard as he'd been laying down in a dust cloud for an extended period of time.
"Sorry we're late… needed to recharge after a blast like that" 18 shouted over the profanity-filled shouts of Kefla; stepping closer to where Raijin lay but unseen by the debris covering him from view.
"It's good… one of you help him" Goku called out; crossing his arms in a block from Kefla's angry barrage of fists and kicks, his eyes pointing The Androids to where Raijin lay, the defeated Saiyan struggling to get to his feet and re-join the fray.
Kefla.
Stunned at the surprising return of two fighters from Universe 7; the anger that Caulifla held towards Universe 7 and their continued underdog performance bubbled back up to her mental surface, the pink and green flames licking at her arms and legs burning brighter indicating she was about to fight seriously.
Her wicked smile gleaming from ear to ear as she kicked off the ground at blinding speeds only to execute a flawless scissor kick knocking both 17 and 18 backwards in disbelief that a Potara-Fused Being could move so suddenly and attack so mercilessly upon others.
17 thrust his hands out just as Kefla created two of her Orbs allowing his Barrier to be erected just as Kefla's Orbs fired their Beams, the beams splintering into several rays that spread around the barrier's limits tearing through the Arena's floor around the Android's feet.
"I got this! You take Raijin" 17 shouted to his sister; drawing on the output of his Infinite Ki Generator as Kefla's Orb Beams hammered against the radiant green shield that stood between Kefla and Goku, 18 and 17 Himself.
"Ok; you stay with Goku… our Universe needs you two" 18 turned her back towards Goku and her Brother; speaking clearly before kicking off the ground and gliding across the floor by propelling herself with energy from her hands rather than using her flight technique.
"No you fucking don't!" Kefla screamed as she spotted 18 leaving the battle; her Orb Beams intensifying and growing broader as well as more destructive as 17's Barrier held up against the pressure of Kefla's attack while 18 hurried to find Raijin under the arena rubble.
18.
18 twisted around a large floor fragment only to find Raijin's head and shoulders poking out from the rubble but half-buried but unmoving, rushing to the fallen Raijin's side and checking him for signs of consciousness; breathing with relief upon finding that Raijin was not only still breathing but clinging on to awareness of his situation so not to be eliminated via unconsciousness.
"Thank you" Raijin muttered under his shallow breathing, 18 lifting him back up to his feet before beginning to carry him towards a safer location.
"Thank yourself; if you'd fallen unconsciousness you would have been eliminated and we need you for the final battle with Universe 11" 17 shouted over his shoulder as 18 began carrying Raijin to safety whilst he stood alongside Goku for he'd have much need for the Omni-Barriers in this fight.
"You stupid bitch… you really think you three can defeat me? As powerful as I am?!" Kefla barked; adding an insult on top of her chosen words for Android 18 just as the green flames burning the air grew more intense.
Goku.
Before Goku could even react; a flurry of Kefla's Orb Beams surrounded him and Android 17; the beams fired moments after 17 threw up his hands thus creating a bright green barrier around himself and Goku, Kefla's beams hammering against the shield from all angles leaving only ripples in the shield's energy but cracks began to form as Kefla kept firing orb after orb to generate more beams.
"Don't know how long I can keep this up" 17 spoke; groaning under the strain of so many beams striking his Barriers all at once to the point that the green glowing walls began to crack under the pressure of Kefla's assault.
"Lower the shield after the next beam!" Goku answered; energies beginning to burst into life as he prepared to rush through to Kefla upon noticing a slight pause in the beams between the Orbs being generated and the Beams firing.
"Are you crazy?! Wait… forgot who I'm talking to" 17 barked back at Goku only to silence himself upon remembering that Goku's brain is more-or-less non-existent.
Utilising a noticeable pause between beam attacks; 17 let down his shield allowing Goku to propel himself with a blazing burst of flame-red God Ki and his Super Saiyan God Form, 17 staring in surprise at a form he'd never seen much less Goku looking visibly younger and toned down while his hair and eyes were a blazing red.
Kefla's own eyes widened as Goku took off towards her in a blazing red form she didn't recognise; grinning at the challenge of the unknown Kefla sidestepped Goku's charge and slamming a knee upwards into Goku's ribs, Goku gasped as his ribs pressed up against his lungs leaving him open to the right hook striking him in the face that sent the Saiyan crashing backwards.
Wiping some saliva and blood from his lips but Goku remained on his feet; drawing on his energies as red flames burst out from his skin turning his flesh bright red while still in the Super Saiyan Blue Form, the addition of Kaio-Ken to his powers causing his every muscle to be stretched to their limits as Goku burst out from 17's Barrier on a direct path for Kefla.
With a flash of blue and pink/green; Goku and Kefla clashed against one another; Goku's right forearm against Kefla's left forearm with each putting colossal amounts of their energies into their arms to the point that blue, green and pink flames blazed out from their arms and setting the arena around them ablaze with fire but causing the very floor beneath their feet to crack and split into great fissures from the sheer might of their combined energies.
18 and Raijin.
The splintering ground erupted from around the feet of Raijin; the very floor breaking and falling into the void where only a seat in The Observation Stands awaited for them both, a second shockwave passing through the floor beneath Raijin's and 18's feet as tiles feel through into the murky clouds; the floor breaking until 18 vanished from Raijin's field of view as the tile she stood on began to fall, breaking into a sudden sprint and diving on top of a breaking tile only to reach out and grasp 18 by her wrist as she dangled over the deep void.
"Save yourself Raijin! You're more important to this fight than I am!" 18 shouted; her body wriggling against Raijin's grip as if trying to free herself even though it meant eliminating herself from the battle.
"You're not falling 18! I won't let you fall! Krillin would hate me if I let you fall now!" Raijin yelled back; the sweat from his many fights making it hard for him to keep a hold of 18's wrist though 18 clearly didn't want him rescuing her by her free hand clawing at his own hands.
"Let go you idiot! This broken floor won't hold us both!" 18 shouted back; her hand trying to pry herself free from Raijin's strong grip, his grip surprisingly strong for someone who'd been beaten down so mercilessly; but with her own injuries she couldn't fight anymore, " Do you remember what I said years ago at The World Martial Arts Tournament? You are stronger than you know… just find that strength!".
Raijin didn't answer for he not only knew 18 was right and she was too injured but he also remembered what 18 said and that had been proven with the stone wall he kept seeing in his mind; the floor around him was breaking and he did not have enough time to pull 18 up and get away from the crumbling floors, his decision taken away as 18 smirks and fired an energy blast at Raijin's own hand; flinching from the burn as he let go leaving Raijin to only stare down in astounded shock as 18 eliminated herself to save him.
"I'm sorry 18…" Raijin muttered to himself upon hearing The Grand Priest announced 18's elimination; turning on his heels and rushing back into the more stable floors where he could sense his energies returning to him like a fresh breath of air filling his lungs, realising that 18 must have transferred what energy she'd recovered thanks to her Ki Generator and passed the energies to him; muttering a silent thanks before rushing off upon sensing Goku's energies shifting while Kefla's only increased.
Goku.
Breaking off from the arena-breaking clash; Goku and Kefla stared each other down as their two-tone flames burnt at the very atmosphere causing the dull grey clouds to become tinted with green, pink, red and blue, with the power of Super Saiyan Blue and Kaio-Ken Goku felt like he was finally on par with Kefla but she Female Fusion remained smiling though her frustration towards Universe 7 remained.
Flinching from the strain that Kaio-Ken put on Goku's own body when partnered with Super Saiyan Blue though the pain had lessened with intense training but Kefla seized the chance to attack when Goku flinched; flying in close and stomp-kicking Goku though Goku instinctively raised his right arm to block but forced backwards by the force of the impact.
Winding back his left arm and flurry-punching the air where Kefla stood only for the woman to appear behind Goku with a wicked smile followed by a kick to the lower back; Goku span on the spot following taking Kefla's kick only to be met with Kefla's fist meeting his eyes and knocking him back even further.
Gritting his teeth upon being faced with an opponent just as strong if not stronger than Jiren was during their previous fight; silently wishing that he could access Ultra Instinct when the silver shadow vanished from his sight when making such a wish, his train of thought halting as Kefla struck Goku with a body-blow by thrusting her chest into his followed by a brutish knee to the belly and a punch to the side of the head.
Goku barely had a chance to counter Kefla's assault; his red and blue flames flickering as his body's limit on Kaio-Ken X10 was only a few seconds away while Kefla remained as strong as ever though she skin shone with a sheen of sweat but she too was breathing noticeably heavier.
Panting for breath after maintaining Kaio-Ken and Super Saiyan Blue left him unable to maintain the form any longer; the red flames and blue hair vanishing from Goku's body leaving him in his Base Form, the silver shadow dancing g in his vision again almost distracting Goku as Kefla came charging at him with her palms pen and striking Goku with a palm thrust and sending the Saiyan crashing backwards towards the edge of the arena but not falling over the edge.
"Why don't you fucking Universe 7 Saiyans just fucking fall?!" Kefla shouted; stomping towards Goku before striking him hard in the face with a vicious straight punch.
Goku barely kept his feet on the ruined floor; his lip burst from the strike as blood beaded and dripped from the fresh wound, his eyes staring intently as Kefla continued to punch at his chest and face but Goku didn't move nor counter each punch; watching as Kefla backed away and charged her pink/green energy into her fist only for her energy to suddenly take shape.
Smirking with a sadistic gleeful smile as Kefla's attempt at an Energy Punch instead formed a three-clawed energy mass around her right hand; the shimmering green and pink energy radiating more power than even a Super Saiyan 3, Goku shivered at the mere sensation of that energy; knowing that if he was struck by that he wouldn't just be eliminated by its sheer power but he'd be torn in half.
As Kefla laughed in glee and extasy at her own strength as Goku stood motionless upon concentrating on his hopes for the one power that would save him from Kefla's fearsome Energy Claw and the possibly of her victory over Universe 7.
The silver shadow moved in and out of Goku's vision yet again only this time he didn't reach out for it; instead relaxing his whole body as the silver shadow stepped closer and closer into Goku's reactive reach, Kefla glared down as Goku stood motionless as if surrendering to her; sneering at his assumed surrender but unsatisfied with the so-called Saiyan who'd fought Jiren so fiercely and defeated Hit in battle, leaping down towards Goku with her new Energy Claw raised and slashing as Goku's barely opened his eyes before being struck by Kefla's Energy Claw.
Just as Kefla thought her Energy Claw had torn through Goku's body; the form of Goku revealed itself to be but an afterimage of Goku vanishing on the spot leaving Kefla dazed and entranced by what she saw next, Goku stood only a few inches away shining with a sparkling silver mist encircling his body with silver streaks in his hair and a silver glow in his eyes, all the signs of Ultra Instinct: Omen.
"You fucking did it again?" Kefla spoke in Caulifla's and Kale's mixed voices; her temples throbbing with irritation but also excitement at the opportunity to fight the same powers that had pushed the mighty Jiren to the point of being defensive, and now she had the opponent to fight that divine power.
