Have you ever heard of this saying, "Life is a gift. Never take it for granted."? It is saying where life is a type of very precious gift from God and not all of us are able to receive this gift. Normally, and in usual cases, that would be true. Life would usually be the most precious gift that humans and all livings would have, all and every single living being from the entire Earth itself. But in this case, it no longer becomes a gift for encouraging others to live with the best of their ability. It no longer encourage others to love and care for others, to bond with others, and no longer it does give a living being or person even a single precious moment. No, now it has become a gift that inflicts suffering and pain on others, a tool that is used to make a person's life a living hell, a weapon that is used to keep a person alive, so that they wish for Death to come for them.

Humans, they have been the ones that had been given that so-called, Gift of Life, they are the ones that have been given to chose how they want to live, and how they want to move on with their future. And originally, they were once a normal collection of individuals. They were, originally, mostly good, and rarely bad.

However, out of nowhere, for no reasons, the humans began to change for the worst, including the ones that were originally kind and caring people. Thus, the gift being abused, becoming more of a curse then a blessing. The souls of mortals began to become corrupted and warped, too the point that they are now a shadow of their former selves. Now there is more evil humans then there are good ones, with those filled with nothing but selfishness, neglect, and instability. Even the good humans are not safe from corruption, as within their minds, an unstable part of them rests inside of them, as they are ready to go and unleash, their souls in the process of being tainted. After a very long time, such humans, those that are truly good and genuinely pure of heart, they are rare. And even those humans, are not safe for what would happen to them. In such a case as now...this is what happens in the form of one human in particular, the one that has become a victim to the corruption of his own kind, and yet, never fell into the sin to become corrupted and take pleasure to inflict sin on others.

In an unknown town of some sort, one that is near a city, there is a young man that is resting just below a tree of some sort, sleeping and trying to gain rest, as he does all he can to use the grass as his own pillow, as well as his own hood. He didn't move...at first. But then, the sun went over the young man's head, as he then began to stir in his sleep. His finger twitched a little bit, as he then opened his eyes, as he then began to rise, and he then looked around to see where he is at right now, before he looks down and sighed, as he held his head, before he then stood up; and he stepped out into the sunlight that is between the grey clouds, and his appearance is revealed.

Coming from the shadows of the tree, is a young man, appearing to be at the age of 19, but at the below average height of 4'11, with pale skin, long black hair that reaches down to the middle of his back. He wears a coat, blue in color, but so dark that it is mistaken as black, that reaches down to his ankles, worn the upper left arm being a little torn, as well as the right shoulder of the arm being ripped in a way. The hood is over his head, and enough to cover his face in the shadows. He wears black leather pants, the right knee torn and ripped, exposing his leg, and wears boots, which are cut at the top parts, but are intact at the soles of the boots, as well as the front and back. Tied on the neck of the man, is a rope, which is wrapped around his neck, 25 Millimeters thick, and the part that is not tied, reaches down to his knees. Beneath the rope, is a type of golden locket that is hanging around his neck, the locket reaches down and goes under the collarbone. It is golden in color, and has the symbol of a star on it, with wings behind the star. Born star and wings are black in color.

This young man is called, Hodr. He is a human that is one of the rare sane individuals, and is now on the streets, but now no longer desperate to survive, having given up on trying to live the life that he wants to live. And yet...what he wanted...never happened. He did all that he could to rebuild his home from the ground up, and it ended for nothing.

He was originally like any other people back when he was young, he is very happy and cheerful, and once had a couple of younger siblings with him, and he loved them dearly, having a responsibility for them. He even had parents, and while they weren't the best people, they were decent enough to give them a good life, even with some bumps and dents. But then, the unthinkable happened and Hodr, he has lost them, having only a locket to remember them, and thus, he had been wandering around in the streets, trying to survive, and look for a place that he would call a home. He always felt tired because does all he can to move, and yet, he pushed on. He sees that his one kind have lost their senses for some reason, and thus, is forced to hide from them. And then...in a single rainy day, when he was 15...he once encountered a friend that he once knew when they were kids, and back then, she was kind and sweet, as well as considerate. At first, he thought that he was safe, and that the suffering would be over. But then...a year later, his friend turned out to have also become infected by the madness of the others, but was much more subdued and controlled, and thus, when she showed her true colors, she wasted no time doing all that she can to make him lose the will to think on his own, and made him infected by it. And yet...no matter what she did, she could not make him become as mad as the others. And yet, even after all she has done, even when she commits an unthinkable act to him, he could never bring himself to hate her.

But when he finally left at the age of 18, he was done trying to live, and thus, he gave up. He could not take it anymore. And he has tried to end his torture, as well as his life, countless times. But no matter what he did, he could not do it, as his life ends up being spared on the most odd circumstances, even to the point where it should have been able to finish him.

As he stood up, he looks at the ground, and sees his backpack, which is worn out and has holes in it. He goes back underneath the tree, picks it up, straps it onto his back, before he goes back out and then looked around, and he then turns to the left, as he then walked into the town that he is in. He sighed, as he then looked around the area that he is in, as he sees humans acting indifferent to their surrounding. He sees a car going too fast, and it then hits a wall, which exploded. Hodr looks down, and sees that a severed hand on fire, as Hodr sighed, before continuing to walk.

"It is always the same."

Hodr has no way to describe the life that he is in right now, other then the fact that it has become such a terrible and awful place to be in. He sees people dying, torturing, taking pleasure in the pain that they inflict on others, and even the young children are not safe, as they become infected with the sins of all, as they began to say things that they are not supposed to say, and act in ways that they are not supposed to act in. One time, a kid tried to stab him in the leg with a knife, but he ended up stabbing himself in the eye, killing himself. And right now, as Hodr looked, a man fell down from the sky, his head broke open and his brains had then exploded, as it splattered all over the ground, and people didn't seem to care. If Hodr was still his usual self, he would have reacted in fear and revolt, as he sees such a horrific sight before him. But Hodr, he could only react with indifference, as if it is such a reoccurring thing. Hodr looks down, and touches the locket, as he closed his eyes, and he simply sighed deeply. The Humans passing by paid no attention, and even some that did simply revolted, but not at the life of the man, but at his appearance in what became of him. Hodr then opened his eyes, as he continues to walk, he walks over some of the kdebris of the man's brain, as he continues to move forward, without care to even look. But yet, even when he cannot react, he does sympathize with the fact that the man had to end his own life, possibly to get out of the chaotic world that he is in. He could not blame him. Even Hodr wants out, and yet, no matter what he did, his life is spared. It is as if Fate wants him alive, possibly for sick, cruel pleasure.

On the Sidewalk, there a big fissure in front of him, one big enough to trip someone, as he steps over it, to avoid a glass bottle. And then, a man behind tips over the crack and lands his face into the glass bottle, getting stabbed in the eye by a shard of glass, and killed him. Hodr sighed, as he looks back up from the ground, and sees that the scenery has changed. His entire mind now sees the area that he is in possessing broken buildings that looked like they have been destroyed in an apocalyptic war, the sun above him becomes black, for it has died, as it sucks the other stars inside of it, the cloudy sky above him has turned black, the clouds became blood red, as black snowflakes fall from the sky. It is as if the snowflakes had been molded from the night itself. He also sees various random people all over the ground, one of them is beheaded, and thus, he cannot tell what his face looks like, another is a brunette woman, but she is ripped apart, and thus, has intestines and stomach spilled all over the ground. He also sees a young red-head boy, who is missing his right arm and left leg, and has a whole in the left side of his chest, where his heart should be. Yet, he cannot see what their expressions are, as their faces are not present on their heads. Hodr blinks, and he sees that the entire scenery changed back, and he continues walk, as if nothing happened.

"That thing will never go away, not until I am gone. Why is it that my Life cannot be put to a close? Why is it...that I cannot end it?"

Hodr muttered without feeling, as all of that happened in his head, the entire vision, and yet, it is almost as if he is seeing the true horrors behind this seemingly innocent area. He could never get rid of it, for it is always the same, the snow as black as the night sky, the dead star, and the corpses of faceless humans that he does not know of or recognize. Ever since he has escaped from someone that had once been his friend, he never felt the same, and he always sees it, everything around him becoming a nightmarish perversion of its original self, the snow, black as if infecting people worn death, everyone except himself, and the appearances of people that he does not recognize. He never stopped seeing it, for an entire year.

As Hodr moves, he sees that there is a blond woman with blue irises, a white pearl necklace, wears a sleeveless purple shirt and black pants, and she is looking at her phone, possibly because she has something important on it. As he continues to walk, he sees that there is a kid that seems to be eating a strawberry ice cream. He appears to be between the ages of 7 or 10, has short brown hair and fair skin, has a gap in his teeth, and freckles. He's also wearing a blue cap, an orange shirt with a planet on it, probably resembling Saturn, and has black pants and shoes. But he appears to be unhappy, as he licks at his sweet treat, and Hodr moves a little to the left, in order to get out of the way. But as he did...

BANG!!!

Hodr gasped, as he felt something...piercing through his torso, and the kid that is walking beside him, he also got shot, as both Hodr and the child landed onto the ground. Hodr tried to move...but thinks that...he shouldn't move, and he closed his eyes, he felt touch suddenly disappear, before he then whispered out to himself.

"Finally..."

He closed his eyes, and feels his vision black out, as he feels himself finally going...it at least...he thought he was.

Hodr...he believed that he would finally move on, that he can finally die and end the suffering. But it appears that Fate has other plans for him, refusing to let him die. As he is blacking out, and on the verge, he thought that he can finally move on, and finally be free from it all. He could see it, a door, waiting for him, and Hodr, he could not contain himself.

"Finally...it is time."

He then walks to the door, which shows a white light at the other side, and he extended his arm out, as he cannot wait. He is finally able to move on. But then...

"CLEAR!!!"

All of a sudden, Hodr felt himself getting electrocuted , the shock being so painful, Hodr thought that it was going to keep going. But in the end, the shock stopped, and Hodr took his first breath.

'No...why did...'

As Hodr thought to himself, his vision blurring, he can see 3 figures, a pink nurse with a curvy figure, a blue haired doctor with red dots on his face with glasses that are very big in front of the eyes, and a doctor with small black glasses, yellow hair that has 2 ends stick up like horns, as Hodr turned his eyes and see the kid is also alive, has a swelling in the left side of his face, as Hodr then sees his vision becoming fuzzy and began to black out, as the male doctor spoke out.

"Holy shit, that actually worked."

And Hodr closed his eyes, his vision blacking out. And yet, he can feel himself on something soft, a bed, as he could not keep himself awake. He has no idea how long he has been knocked out for, but as he was knocked out...

CRASH!!!

Hodr heard the sound of glass breaking, the sounds of screaming, and the feeling of air hitting the top of his head is felt, as he opened his eyes. But his vision blurry, his mind not truly recovered, and sees that he is falling from the building, as the glass of the window was shattered into shards, and, he sees that there is something...strange, on the side of the bed that he is on, having white hair, white horns with black stripes, and has a red tail. But Hodr thinks that he is hallucinating, as he closed his eyes and became unconscious again, thinking that the nightmare would he over. But it turns out...it was never going to be over.

Hodr, during his moments of being awake, he could see and hear voices, but only he could understand very few of their sentences. He opened his eyes...and the figures are very blurry, but he can hear them, 2 of them make, and 2 of them female, with one of the female voices having a southern accent.

"Oh, sit on a dick, Mo-"

"Are you kidding me, sir? She's awf-"

"That is offensive! Without homeless people-"

"Shh-shh-shh. There, the-"

And yet, no matter what Hodr hears, he cannot hear the full sentences of what they are saying, and always black at the 4 times when he tries to listen to their conversations. But his mind is beginning to recover, as he then opens his eyes again for the 5th time, this time longer then usual, and he sees that the kid that has been in the hospital with him, has begun to say stuff that a normal child should not know, even at an age such as this, not to mention having an attitude and personality that is unfit for a child.

"If I wanted to hear from a spineless jackass, I'd rip out your spine and ask you some shit."

Hodr frowned a little bit more then he did, as his consciousness faded from him yet again, and he thought to himself.

'Why am I even surprised? This happened a bunch of times. Young kids having behavior like that, although at least it is not as worse as the other ones.'

Hodr's eyes has closed, as he lost the will to wake up. It is as if waking up is one of the hardest tasks to do, despite the fact that it should be easy for anybody. And yet, for him, he just can't do it as easily as the others. As Hodr laid down on whatever he is on, which feels cold and hard, yet the inside of the hood lessened how uncomfortable it is, a loud bang was heard, and the sound of the child's cry was heard.

"AUUGH!!!"

Hodr quickly opened his eyes, and he sees the young kid get shot, this time in the heart, which instantly killed him, as he is sent flying into the wall beside the both of them, his blood dripped onto the leg of his pants, the kid's body falls onto his legs. Hodr closed his eyes, not knowing why, as he then waits for what is about to happen next, wondering if it is his turn to die. If that is the case, then he will happily take death, as he has nothing left to live for anyway. It is not like anyone would care if he gets killed. They'll probably think of his death as the funniest joke in the world.

However, when he thought that they would kill him, he instead felt the body of the kid be lifted off from his legs, and he looks to see that the body is gone. The sounds of piercing and hitting was heard, and Hodr does not even bother to look to the right, which is where he is hearing the sounds, but his vision began to blur once more, and cannot see what is happening, but he sees colors of red, white, black, and even a grey color. Hodr closed his eyes, as he lost consciousness for the final time. And yet, the sounds of the beating, he is able to hear, but are muffled.

After what must have been a minute, he hears the door open, and Hodr opened his eyes, as he feels fully awake. Hodr then looks down at himself, and sees that he is on a large metal bed, which explains the come feeling, and the fact that he has some wires from a computer that has green lines that wave up and down, attach to his chest. He grabbed onto the wires, and yanked of off of his chest, as he then looks up sat up and looked around the area that he is inside of right now.

He appears to be in some type of office, the walls have wide stripes, each a foot across, and goes up to the wall. They appear to be a dark red color and a light red color, although Hodr isn't sure what color they are. There is a large table, and 4 chairs, each with spikes at the sides of them. There is a billboard at the opposite end of the room that he is at, sheikh a line that is zagging down, the sentence, 'Fix This Shit!!', and 'Blitzo is the best' written on the billboard. There are 3 portraits on the right side of the room. One of the portraits has 2 Red Skinned people with seemingly no nose, and has horns on top of their heads, although the male has white hair, as well as white horns with black stripes, while the other is a female with black hair, and black horns and thin white stripes. They appear to wear fancy suits and appears to be at a dance. The other 2 portraits each have another male red skinned person with a white patch on the right side of his face, and appears to be taller then the others, appearing to be also bald, as well as 2 female red-skinned people. One of which has black horns with thin white lines, and has ram horns, while the other lacks horns, but has black hair. But each have eyeballs that are yellow and black pupils, with the exception of the one with the white patch, who has red irises.

Hodr's eyes widened, as he then spoke out.

"Wait...those are...am I..."

Hodr then looked out of one of the windows, which is cracked, like someone has placed pressure onto it, and looks out. Outside, he sees that he is in some type of city, with a sky that is as red as blood. Down below, he sees a sign that says, 'Welcome to IMP City.' Up above, is a pentagram in the sky, one that he knows all to well.

Hodr sighed, as he realizes what this means.

"Of course, of all the places that I am in...it just had to be Hell. And yet, even with Hell existing, it is nothing compared to the hell that I am in right now."

Hodr is not really surprised about the fact that he is in the Afterlife of the Damned. Truth is, he's known of it's existence being true for quite some time. How did he know that it's real? Well, it is thanks to his former friend from back then, who has lost herself. She had manipulated Hodr into joining in and discover its existence. He even learned of the types of Demons that exist down in Hell, such as Imps and Hellhounds, and it seems that the city that he is in is made for Imps. Although, he kind of expected Hell to be made of fire and brimstone. He did not expect for Hell to be like, well...this, being similar to the cities of the human world. Hodr exhaled lightly, and yet, it is as though he has made no sound out of his own mouth. He then looks at the metal table behind him, as he then goes to it, before he then sat down. He then touched his shoulders, as he felt the straps of his backpack, relieved that he still has it.

He then turned back to the table, as he sat down. He unzips his backpack, and he looks to see that inside of his backpack, is a book of some sort. The book is a blood red color, has a black gem with a ruby red pentagram symbol on the spine, has a moon that seems to be dripping from the bottom of it, like it is bleeding. The moon has a picture of thorny vines arranged in various ways inside of the crescent moon. There are various ancient demonic symbols in between the 2 points of the crescent moon.

"Well...at least this is still intact. Not that it means much."

Hodr reached in and strokes the cover of the book for a little bit, as he narrowed his eyes. He does not know what to think right now about what he is in. In fact, he dared to not think at all. What he really wants, is to finally rest.

But as he zipped his backpack yet again, and puts it on his back once more, he heard a click, and he looks to see one of the doors opening.

"Hah!! Now that is a nice gift to that bitch, especially with her shitty brat cut to pieces!!"

A voice said, as the sound of multiple footsteps are also present. The voice and footsteps are in the form of the 3 Imps from the picture, those being the black haired female, white haired male, and the bald imp. But along them, is a female that has the features of a wolf, but is standing and walking on 2 feet like a, has grey hair that reaches down her back, red eyeballs with white irises, a long fluffy tail, wears a choker, tattered grey, off-the-shoulder crop-top, with 2 straps at the impart hugging the upper part of her arms, wears black shorts that have a moon symbol on the hips, and stockings that exposes her toes.

"You did he the video of the kid being fucked up, Loona?"

The wolf lady, named Loona, spoke out to the bald Imp.

"Got it all on video, Blitzø. Never liked that little fucker."

The Bald Imp, who is named Blitzø, smiled, as the white-haired Imp then spoke out.

"Normally, I wouldn't like to hurt kids, especially with that I had done to him and the other human, but that brat deserved it."

The female Imp smiled, as she then spoke out.

"That's mah Moxxie, doin' good on the job at I.M.P!"

She then hugs the Imp, named Moxxie, as he got kissed from the cheek, and he then spoke out.

"Ahh, thanks Millie. But what about the other human? What do we do with him?"

Blitzø scoffed, the entire group goes up to the door, as he spoke out.

"Well, I could think of a number of fucking things from what I would do to-"

But as Blizø opens the door, the group looks and sees that the human that Moxxie had accidentally shot, Hodr, is awake, and is sitting up on the bed. His hood is off, and they can see how long his black hair is, and for some reason, they can't see his eyes, as they are covered in shadows. He is making an expression on his face, one that Loona cannot read. Blizø looks at Hodr, as he then spoke out.

"So, you're awake as well. Heh, you look like jackshit for someone your age. So you can just stay where you are, shut the fuck up and-"

But before Blitzø could finish what he is about to say to the human before him, Hodr then spoke out to him

"Why?"

This made Blitzø stop, as Blitzø didn't expect him to speak, as Hodr continued to speak out to him.

"Why did you do it?"

Blitzø, acting on assumptions of what he is referring to, spoke out.

"Why not? That kid was being a little bitch, and was-"

But Hodr then spoke out.

"No, I don't mean that."

This made Blitzø confused, as Hodr then spoke out.

"Why...Why did you keep me alive, save me? There was no reason for you to do that. Wouldn't it...wouldn't it be easier for you to leave me to die?"

Okay, this made the members of IMP confused. They did not expect a human to say that question to them. Usually, the humans that they see just get killed and mainly, they usually try to stay alive. Try to run away like the fucking cowards that they are, or try to fight back, and even that brat that they killed, even though he said he wanted death, he didn't really mean that. But for the human that they are seeing...it is the first time that a human questions then on this sort of thing.

Millie then decide for take the turn to speak out to Hodr.

"Well, that is because you ain't our target that we are tryin' to assassinate. We try to keep the other people out of it."

Hodr was silent at first, unsure of what to think about what Millie had said to them. But then, he spoke out.

"I...I don't deserve it. I...don't deserve to be helped. You could have just...left me there to die. Besides, what would it matter if that person is a target or not? You'd probably even find it funny to beat down my dead body and spit on it, just for giggles. Especially from you Imps and Hellhound."

The tone of voice also caught their attention. He sound so tired, so w was resigned, as if he had given up trying to do anything.

"Wait, you know of our kind?"

Moxxie said, as Hodr spoke out.

"Well, more like knew of your existence, for quite a long time. I haven't met any Imps or Hellhound before, but you all are the first ones that I have met."

The Imps are pretty disbelieved, especially since they usually try to keep their existence a secret, except maybe from the News people, but that is just to mock them. Loona, however, was not surprised, mainly because his words meant nothing to her, and still in a bad mood, and remembering what he said about not deserving to live, spoke out to him.

"Had a shitty life or something?"

it was a silence at first, before Hodr then made a sound out of his mouth.

"Hehehehehehe..."

Hodr let's our an empty chuckle, which made the Hellhound turn to him, as Loona snarled out.

"What's so funny, you little bitch?"

Then, Hodr spoke out.

"Miss, you have no idea how accurate and truthful it is that you said. And it is bad enough that I desperately want to be killed for it. Your words only scratch the surface of now really painful it is too me."

This made Loona's eyes widened a little, but she then narrowed her eyes, and she spoke again.

"Then why don't you try and fucking kill yourself, if you're so desperate?"

After what happened to the kid, Loona is in a far more worse mood then before, and needs to let off a little hit of steam. Moxxie then spoke out to Loona.

"Loona, you can't just say that to-"

"I tried to do that."

This made them both stop, as Loona looks at Hodr, who interrupted what Moxxie was about to say, and Loona, in confusion, then spoke out.

"what the fuck do you mean by tried to do that?"

Hodr gripped the long part of the rope in his hand, and he spoke out.

"I tried to kill myself, multiple times even. But...no matter what I did, no matter how much I try to kill myself, my life always ends up being saved in ways that should have let me die, her, it turns out to not be the case."

This made Blizø scoff at Hodr, thinking that he is over exaggerating.

"Yeah, like what, big guy?"

Hodr did not hesitate to say what he has in his mind.

"This rope, was one of them. I tried to hang myself, and I was close to death, but somehow, the rope snapped, even though it shouldn't be the case. I tried to drown myself into a deep river. But I ended up getting pushed up to the surface, and got taken out by some humans. I tried to set myself on fire, but a heavy rainstorm came out of nowhere and doused the flames. I got hit by a car, right in the head, and I ended up with nothing but mild bruising. Got electrocuted, I got paralyzed for an entire day. Once tried to shoot myself with a gun, but it somehow got jammed. I even tried jumping off a tall height, yet my legs ended getting caught on something, and landed me safely when it let got of me. Basically, every time that I try to die, I somehow end up getting out alive, as if someone is trying to keep me alive."

Okay, now Loona, who usually cares less about anything, and the others are truly stunned. Apparently, Hodr has tried to end his life a bunch of times, and yet, somehow he is saved. Blitzø the shout out to Hodr.

"What the hell?! A human like you has survived all of that shit?! You don't even sound human at all, even though you clearly are!!"

Blitzø then looks at Hodr with a stern expression on his face, as he then spoke out.

"And there is no way we are killing you, Jackass! You are not a target, and we have no interest in your request into killing you, even if you beg us."

Hodr looks down at the ground for a lot of bit, as he then spoke out.

"If you won't kill me...what are you gonna do with me then? I'm a human in hell with 3 Imps and a Hellhound, and as far as I believe, Hell is not going to be welcoming to a human that is still alive."

Whelp, that is something that Blitzø did not even bother to cover, as Moxxie then goes up to Hodr and spoke out.

"Well, we can make a portal and take your back do your family."

but Hodr spoke out in the same flat tone.

"I...don't have a family. Not anymore. Their gone."

Moxxie looks at him, and the tone was different. He sound, more sad, almost as if he is ready to cry at any moment, and by the sound of it, he missed his family. Blitzø then spoke out.

"Goddmanit, now we have to sort things out in another fucking meeting! You, Big Man, go behind one of the doors and wait for us."

Hodr looks at Blitzø and spoke out."

"Which one?"

Blitzø facepalmed himself, as he shouted.

"Behind the one we went through, dumbass!!"

Hodr looks at the door, and nodded his head.

"Okay."

Hodr then stood up, and and walked past the 3 Imps, and avoided being near Loona, who looks at him with baring her teeth, as if threatening him. He went to the door, and closed it carefully, as he then sat down on the steps, and looks down at his feet. He took a deep breath and exhaled silently, as he then took out the book from his backpack, and looked at it.

"A Year has passed since...her...and it has come down to this."

As he remembered someone the friend that he was once close to, he feels cold, and he looks at his arms, and his eyes widened, as he sees chains wrapped around his lower arms, stopping near at the elbow and the wrist. He blinked his eyes, and they are gone, but Hodr was breathing very shakily, as if he had seen something horrifying, and he clutched onto his locket, a female voice then spoke out.

"Why run away? You belong to me."

The female voice he heard, it sounded kind and sweet, but has a lace of cruelty and sadism present inside of it. And this voice is the one that had haunted him for so long, but Hodr tries all he can to not think about it. After a minute, Hodr then looks down, and he stopped shaking, as he lets go of the locket, and as he tries to shake off the female voice that had entered his mind, another one, a male voice, spoke out, one that he recognizes for so long.

"Well, ain't this a doozy for you, huh?"

This made Hodr closed his eyes a little bit, before he then looks and sees that there is someone in front of him, and he is floating. Before him a male that is at the same height as he is, and even resembles him, meaning that he has the coat, boots, pants, even face and hair as Hodr. However, the differences is that everything about him is as black as shadows, even his skin, with the exception of his eyes, with only the left eye showing in an opening between his hair, and mouth, which glow white, as well as black fangs inside of his mouth, as well as lacking the noose that is around Hodr's neck. Another noticeable thing, is that he has a tail that is similar to the Imps, but the pointing end of glowing white, and coming out from his head, are 2 pairs of horns. One pair is at the front, but is curved backwards, going behind his head, and resemble a Ram's Horns, but the horns pointing downwards, instead of turning and going either forward or pointing up. The second pair of horns are at the sides of his head above his ears, as they point upwards, making him resemble a demon version of Hodr. The young man looks at the demon lookalike before him, as he then spoke out.

"Oh, so you decide to appear, Loki. It's been a long time...since I had escaped from...her."

Loki grinned, as he flies next to Hodr, and he then spoke out.

"Heh...gotta say, being in Hell is not what I expected. Just thought that you were gonna go down to someplace else as a dead man. But...I guess we are given a new chance to keep moving, to keep on living."

Hodr looks down, not believing that this is the case, as he then spoke out to him softly, so that the members of IMP don't hear him.

"What's the point of living, Loki? I lost my family ever since I was a young kid, my friend who I once known since childhood had betrayed me, I tried all I could to survive, any sort of reason to keep on going, but now...now this is just to much for me. Death is far better then to live a life that is filled of misery and pain. And I think that the demons inside are gonna vote to go out and kill me, which will obviously happen. I just want to run away from the pain, escape it, and I don't care how. I don't want to continue to feel it, even at this very second."

Loki crossed his arms, as he then spoke out.

"If they wanted to kill you, they would have let you to die. Besides, there is no way that you can continue to live a life like this. Come on, Hodr, let's go and see what we can find in Hell itself. Perhaps something that will give you a reason to keep on living."

Hodr looks at Loki and sighed, knowing that he is not gonna give up on him. After all, ever since he had been lost, Loki had appeared from his life, possibly somewhere inside of his mind, as he is the only one that can see him, and has been the one to direct and advice him in what to do, and how do stuff, as well as the one that had directing and demanding for him to stay alive. Hodr stood up, and he spoke out.

"I can't believe we're doing this. Honestly...I actually hope that Hell kills me."

Hodr held the book in his left arm, before he then went down the stairs, and he looks to see what seems to be the door to and out of the building. He exhaled from his nose, as he walks up to it, opens the door, before he closes it, as he goes and ventured into the city that he is in, unaware that what he does will change the very life that he is in.
