The Three Legendary Saiyans.

Chapter 97: Mobilisation of Earth's Defences.

Earth's Orbit.

The airlock of Frieza's Flagship though under Bojack's command burnt outwards; the white-cloaked Elite flying out and tossing aside the cloak revealing a male-bodied fighter in a skin-tight flight suit with a large visor covering the whole head with gauntlets and greaves on his limbs, the greaves producing booster exhausts and propelling forwards through Space until reaching the weapon being used against them, a large mechanical satellite cannon priming its next shot via a visual display reading a 67% Charge.

"Who are you? Identify yourself?" Spoke a disembodied but husky voice; the cannon itself was speaking directly to the looming foe.

"I am Nano Trooper; a synthetic lifeform comprised of millions of nano robots inhabiting a flight-suit, Nano Trooper spoke, his flight-suit appearing to be skin-tight over a muscular frame but the muscles shimmered and moved as the nanomachines within shifted and contorted the shape of his body to be more slender and thin without any large muscle mass.

"Have you come to destroy me? Must I fade into the dark once again?" Spoke The A16 Cannon; his synthesized voice sound mournful and resigned to its own fate as if it had already experienced death once already.

"Yes, I intend to assimilate your technology into my own arsenal of weaponry, it will be painless" Nano Trooper responded not out of malice or desire to make itself stronger but put of pity for the A16 Cannon was a beautiful machine that Trooper regretted having to destroy.

"Then… please make it quick" The A16 Cannon spoke again; the light in the targeting eye dimming while the charged shot fizzled out, the sadness expressed by a machine touching the hearts on even those troops waiting on standby within the fleet.

"In that case…. Very well" The Cannon expressed itself with a notable sadness unlike that of any machine that Nano-Trooper had encountered before, the charge only a single percent away from firing a shot but powered down to accept its own fate.

"To think a single machine is taking down hundreds of our ships with only two shots; a pity I must assimilate you" Nano Trooper spoke with a tone that told of a smirk behind the visor that masked his face; floating in the emptiness of Space with Earth as the backdrop for the first fight of this invasion.

Across the entirety of the satellite weapon; the entirety of the machine remained silent except for a crimson flash, the flash coming from a single part of the machine that appeared to be aware of the threat Nano Trooper presented but was incapable to vocal communication due to being just a single cybernetic eye for the purpose of targeting.

The singular crimson targeting eye turned to acknowledge the threat that The Elite presented; what little remained of Android 16 within the satellite weapon accepted its own fate as the crimson glow faded to a mere glimmer as Nano Trooper's skin-tight suit motioned as his right gauntlet opened up to reveal a shockwave cannon in place of a hand.

"Bon voyage… Pulse Bullet!" Nano screamed just as a singular pulse blast erupted out from the cannon on his arm leaving no sound in the empty vacuum of Space as The A16 Cannon was instantly torn and shredded by the pulse wave, the machine being destroyed without so much as an explosion but instant being reduced to scrap with the targeting eye being the only piece left intact.

"Nano Trooper closed his gun-arm back into his gauntlet before motioned with his left as that arm opened up revealing an uncountable number of nanomachines spreading out like a claw reaching out to grab and remains of the satellite weapon with the intent to assimilate it into his own weaponry.

A glowering set of eyes beamed through the visor of the being's helmet before locking sight on the targeting eye; reaching out with his right hand and holding the eye and taking note of the crimson slit in the eye remained indicating it was still active, moving the eye to his left hand as that too was assimilated into his own technological being.

The Flagship.

Back on board Frieza's Flagship; Bojack and his personal red-cloak troops watched Nano Trooper destroy the Earth's first defensive weapon with a single attack and then assimilate it into its own being so it might be deployed for themselves later.

"Remind me; where did Lord Frieza find him again?" The Soldier spoke; the voice clearly male though the soldier was the shortest in terms of height amongst the group of Red-Cloaks.

"Some scientist offered him up to us in exchange for allowing him to continue his experiments" Bojack remarked; bearing a great dislike for scientists for he preferred the open battlefield and more brutal warfare even if he needed to employ strategy then he'd use his own mind rather than another's.

"But what was the scientist's name?" The Solider again enquired; curious why some scientist would give up such a powerful living weapon in exchange for his life.

"Doctor Myuu" Bojack spoke with a tone of disgust; the mere mention of the scientists name filled him with a vile sensation as the thought of his so-called Machine Mutants and that infant Tuffle posed a great threat if left unchecked.

Bulma and Hedo.

In Bulma's Control Centre; multiple holographic displays showed the destruction of The A16 Cannon, as well as The Dragon Ball Amplifier being used by Frieza with a dying Ewan laying in a pool of his own blood, the sight of her machine and protégée dying at the hands of a fiend like Frieza made Bulma curse his name.

"I'd hate to do this… but with A16's destruction I have no choice, send word to Earth's Military Forces; inform them in the imminent invasion" Bulma spoke glumly; she thought that her cannon would last longer but she'd not expected the first assault to come from a being made out from nanomachinery, now worried that the firepower of her own technology might be used against Earth.

"The Military? You must be joking! What are they going to do against an invading alien force?!" Hedo scoffed in surprise; the records stating that the last time Earth's Military had been deployed to face such a power had ended in catastrophic losses for the human race at the hands of not only Perfect Cell but also during The Saiyan Invasion decades ago.

"They can hold the line until my friends can gather" Bulma spoke surprisingly calmly; crossing the room to enter in a password and multiple holographic monitors rose up into the air, each screen highlighted the with name of a different member of The Z Fighters from Yamcha all the way over to Android 17.

"Very well; and what of The Saiyans?" Hedo nodded his head; tapped away at his keyboard as he sent the message of Bulma's behalf, choosing now to bring up the pressing question on where The Saiyans were.

"Last I knew they were all on Beerus' World, and with any luck they are already on their way back" Bulma spoke with a noticeable disheartened tone; his young-looking complexion not giving away a rising frustration that their strongest fighters were never on Earth when they were direly needed.

"Do we know that for sure?" Hedo couldn't help but suppress a smirk; pulling a small Capsule Case from his Hero-Suit with a set of three Capsules held within, a personal project he'd been working on in the event of dire need for his own designs.

"Predictably enough… no, and the track record for them getting back on time is not great, being late the last time Frieza invaded and they didn't show up at all for The Cell Max Crisis…" Bulma spoke again but her frustration was vented in her tone of voice; slamming a fist down on the desk out of annoyance for The Saiyans again being absent.

"Though your husband was in another Timeline for that…" Hedo chose to bring up the fact that Raijin was not present in their flow of Time during the indicent of his own making, though after watching footage of Raijin's abilities, even Hedo doubted that Cell Max would have been able to stand up to him.

"Point taken; I blame Future-Trunks for that" Bulma remarked; a shadow failing over her face when placing blame on the son of her future/alternate self who'd died to Black's hand.

"And what about your Bio-Warriors? Won't they be of use?" Hedo spoke again; this time speaking on The Bio-Warriors that Bulma had developed for the purposes of being training partners and charging bio-electricity for The Amplifier.

"And we won't need those, they're all still powering The Amplifier and that's been compromised" Bulma spoke while biting her lip; staring down at a surveillance camera footage on a screen showing the active machines and the dead body of Ewan laying in a pool of blood.

"Miss Bulma; the message has been sent; I've also sent one to Mr Hercule Satan, maybe he can rally the troops and get more soldiers on our side" Hedo spoke with a sudden sullen tone; setting the case aside but leaving it inside of Bulma's field of vision as he turned to leave.

"Good idea; his influence will do wonders for the morale, next is to evacuate the cities Bulma spoke with an impressed smile as she'd not thought of using Hercule to boost morale and convince Generals to believe the invasion is happening when the last one was so small-scale the rest of the world barely noticed it, tapping at her keyboard to rapidly as she sent the evacuation drills out to all the cities on Earth.

"Now we can only hope that those ships don't get here before our defences can be mobilised" Bulma thought to herself; her sensors already picking up and identifying the first of The Z Fighters heading towards The Capsule Corp Building's Meeting Room, turning away from the console to head there herself but pausing to look at the capsule container that Hedo left behind.
