Shane was limping the next day as Lucy was healing him.

"Well, that happened." Jason says.

"Go away. We don't need your help, Jason." Angry Luigi says as Jason growls.

"Guys, stop. Look, Brandy, this new version of you, it's nice that you're finally standing up for yourself, but I liked the old you. Polite, gentle, and nice. You were just fine the way you were before." Savannah says and tears up, leaving, as Angry Luigi frowns.

"We need to track Garth down." Karen says.

"On it!" Miss Martian says.

Garth was now in his family's castle, sobbing. He ruined everything his friends worked so hard on for him. (His gifts were teleported to Michigan before his destructive rampage, so they weren't ruined.) Garth's right pinky finger was gone thanks to Bruty.

His fish friends took pity on him and did their best to comfort him. His parents saw this scene and tried to think of what to do.

They come into his room and hold him as Caspian restores whatever Garth lost, body part-wise.

"I'm a monster!" Garth cried.

"Oh, no, honey, you aren't a monster. Your powers just went haywire again." Aerwyna says.

"My goodness, son, why were you so upset?" Caspian asked, concerned.

He explained as his mother put an arm around him.

"You nearly killed Garth." Skylia says. "You've been a lot more aggressive and you even claimed you were better than Skara, then pushed Willow when she only wanted to help you, and you claimed only the Invincibros were heroes." Skylia says. "And now I got letters from Garth's parents, who are apparently royalty, and are threatening to sue us because of you trying to kill their son."

Brandy gasped, then looked down.

"Now, normally, I would let you off with a warning since your birthday is coming. But now that I know all this, I don't have any choice now but to cancel your birthday this year. You boys are both grounded, but especially you, Brandy." Skylia says.

"What did I do?!" Randy asked.

"Nothing…yet." Skylia says as Emma feels bad for them. She knew that Brandy would never attempt to kill him. After all, Bruty had control of him. She thinks.

"We need to get him off the Invincibros' team." She thought. But it was a little late in the season to do that and all the teams were solid.

Meanwhile, Karen finds Garth. She saw him surrounded by some of his fish friends. Some jellyfish acted as a translucent curtain around his bed.

"Are you okay?" She asks as the jellyfish let her through.

"I ruined my own birthday…" Garth sniffed.

"Hey, you still have a couple of days. We all have our blow-up moments. Even Jessica has gone rogue." Karen says, remembering seeing her eat meat. She hugged him.

He sniffed. "I'm a monster, Karen. If my teammates don't want to speak to or see me again, I won't blame them." Garth sniffed. "I made a huge mess of things at my first party of the year and ruined everything they did for me."

"Garth, you aren't a monster." Karen says. "And I'm sure your friends and teammates still like you."

Meanwhile, with Luke, he was working on stuff for Garth's party at the aquarium. Everything was SpongeBob-themed to commemorate Garth's new show and the fact it was an under the sea theme.

Hal and the others were now worried about their friend. Especially Barry, who Charity had just healed.

"We ruined it." he says.

"How did we ruin it?" Hal asked.

"We didn't make him happy." Barry sniffed.

"We did up until that moment." Oliver Queen says, looking over his lines. "Something must have triggered him."

"Brandy and Randy?" Kara asked.

"The poster that Barry had…" Atticus says as they all glare.

"You just had to show him the poster." Shane glared.

"I had just found it! I said nothing about us attending that event!" Barry says.

"Still, it would have been better if you never told us about it." Luke says, grabbing Barry, but Hal and Atticus both stop him.

"Enough. We just move on from this. No use thinking of the past." Atticus says and heads home, still tired from last night.

Clover woke up as Amy took her to the bathroom.

Luna came to pick her up. Sutton had answered the door.

"If things in that house get overwhelming to the point where she has to come back here, your older siblings will be charged with endangerment. Am I clear?" Sutton tells Luna. Luna nodded as Amy came down with Clover.

"My darling!" Luna says as she embraces Clover.

"We're in the middle of potty training, so try to remember to take her before every meal, before bed at night, and after she wakes up in the morning. And if she needs to go, take her to the toilet immediately." Amy says.

Luna nodded. "Got it." She says as she takes Clover home.

With the boys, they had been focusing back on their training, or at least they were trying to.

Angry Luigi just sat there thinking. "I think I shouldn't have joined the Musibros. Being famous isn't for me." He says. But he also couldn't back out now. It was already too late in the season to quit.

Savannah came up with Melony.

"Listen, I think I know who to blame." Melony says.

"Who?" Savannah asked.

"Simple. Cool Josh. He made the challenge, now we're going to kick his butt." Melony says ready for a fight.

"Even so, I'm grounded regardless. So there won't even be any birthday festivities. Which I don't want, anyway." Brandy sighed.

"Your mom is being too harsh. You guys deserve a birthday." Melony says.

"I SAID I DIDN'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH MY BIRTHDAY THIS YEAR! GOSH!" Brandy finally screamed before walking off.

Melony grabbed him.

"Listen, you coward. You're going to help us fight Cool Josh and join back with the Cosmic Buddies, because I think Atticus and Luke are a bad influence. All this fame got into your head and changed you." Melony says.

Jason sighed as he knew this wouldn't end well.

"THAT PART OF ME IS GONE!" Brandy snapped. "And stop forcing me to bend to your will! They didn't force me to quit, nor did they influence my decision. I made up my mind. And maybe I FINALLY decided to stop being a coward because of them!"

"So just because you're friends with Atticus now, it makes you better than us? I think Anti-Hybrid was right. Maybe I should have ended you when I had the chance. Let's go." Melony says, spitting out exploding seeds on Angry Luigi. "I'll make you regret ever meeting Cherry and Atticus."

Angry Luigi was hissing at Melony.

"So, you're just going to be Luke's little bitch, is that it? We were all equals in the cosmic buddies. You're just a bitch in the Musibros!" Melony says.

"Melony, stop." Savannah says.

Melony wasn't having it as she let her emotions out, unleashing an explosive energy wave.

But the boys were gone at that point because they had something to do besides training, and that was making things right with Garth.

Kylie frowned upon seeing Melony's attitude problem and Garrett shook his head in disbelief, not believing what he just saw.

"There are other ways to deal with your emotions, Melony." Garrett says.

"Go ahead, leave me, everyone always does." Melony says. "Brandy never cared about us. He just uses people."

"We don't use you." Kylie says. "We're in your corner. And we're going to help you find positive ways to deal with your emotions."

The boys saw Garth with Karen in his castle. Which was underwater. Garth's servants had given them underwater breathing mechanisms. The group swam up to Garth and Karen.

"Look, we're going to give you a perfect birthday party today." Luke says.

Garth sniffed, really wanting to believe them.

Meanwhile, Angry Luigi was walking home.

"Atticus just went on a new adventure. He won't be back." Alem tuber says.

Angry Luigi frowned and walked past Willow, not saying a word.

"He's changed for the worse." Emma sobbed.

"He's growing up, Emma. People change when they grow up." Skylia says, remembering when she was growing up, much like Brandy. This wasn't exactly a phase. It just happens.

"Hey, idiot, let's go kill Cool Josh now." Alem tuber says as he grabbed his brother and dragged him out of the house.

Mike and Josh spy on them.

"Well, if they wanna die early, who are we to deny?" Mike says as Josh aimed a cannon at them.

Angry Luigi wasn't having it.

Oime gives Angry Luigi a wedgie and tosses him to Alem tuber.

"Oime, you mute son of a…" Alem tuber says as he sees Cool Josh on a building.

"Come and fight me." Alem tuber says.

"Sorry, but I think I'll destroy you both now." Cool Josh says.

"You? Ha!" Alem tuber says.

Meanwhile, Clover sees Lola and Lana watching TV.

"We're watching Dream Boat." Lola says.

Clover looked on, interested.

"So, I'm Lola and that's Lana." Lola says.

"Nice to meet you." Clover says.

The fight was going on and it heated up. Angry Luigi asserted himself and started to stare the group down.

Cool Josh and Alem tuber rush around and shoot blasts as Cool Josh shot a wave of ice as Angry Luigi dodged and sighed as Cool Josh kicked him.

Alem tuber punched Mike and leaped and punched Josh in the face.

"Oh man, wait till Jitro comes to pick Bruty up." Cool Josh says as he walks moonwalk style.

"Jitro?" Alem tuber asked.

"And I don't think that anything of the sort is going to happen." Angry Luigi says coldly.

A few moments later, the twins were chained up in some prison.

"Looks like I'm missing the play and Garth's birthday." Angry Luigi says.

"Idiot" Alem tuber says

"Shut. Up." Brandy finally snapped.

"You know he can kill you." A random prisoner says

"Silence!" Jitro says.

Angry Luigi gladly complied with the request for silence as he wasn't going to speak to anyone, anyway.

"Good, enjoy your last few days living. You're too risky to keep alive, and I don't care if Oliver Queen hates me for killing his teammate." Jitro says.

Back with the boys, they take Garth to one of the local malls. Garth hid in a fountain as Hal tried to coax him out.

"No!" He screamed, blasting Hal with water.

Hal sighed as Barry pulled Garth out of the fountain.

"Atticus ditched me!" he sobbed.

"He had a mission to go on." Hal says.

"Have fun with us, Garth." Luke says.

"Something will go wrong! Just like your parties, Luke!" Garth sobbed. He ran into one of the mall's bigger fountains and cried. "You guys hate me!"

"Why do you think we hate you?" Oliver Queen asked.

"Because I'm a monster!" He screamed as the mall was soon being flooded by his tears.

"Garth, we're more concerned for you than we are angry at you. None of us think you're a monster." Shane said as Garth sniffed. "We just want you to be happy."

"My birthday is cursed, isn't it?" Garth cried.

"No." Luke says.

"It's already ruined…" Garth sniffed.

"We're going to make this day better. And we'll be there for you, from now until your show." Oliver Queen says, patting Garth's curly head.

"We gotta save them!" Savannah says

"No, we're not part of Luke's group, so we're not helping Brandy." Emila says.

Savannah frowned and finally snapped at the group before activating her Lantern ring.

"Hey, trying to fix my plane, keep it down." Bill says.

"Look, Brandy wants nothing to do with us." Alex says. "So, we gotta do nothing with him."

Savannah finally takes it upon herself to walk out since the others weren't going to be of any help. She starts making some calls of her own. And she calls the Corps as well for good measure. She didn't need the others. Not for this rescue mission.

Garth sniffed as Hal tried to sing to him in the Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor the boys were at.

"Don't bother. I know you guys hate me." He sniffed and left.

Kara was walking by as she bumped into him.

"Garth, are you all right?" Kara asked. She shows concern as Garth straight-up bawls against her as he clutches her jacket.

"It's okay. It's okay. Do you want to talk to me?" Kara asked him, brushing the tears from his eyes. "I can tell you're unhappy."

He explained everything to her.

"I think it's something else. You guys tended to fight each other in the past, too. Honestly, you guys have been pretty toxic at times. I think you're afraid of losing everyone." Kara says.

"Especially now, with me about to be the official hero of Atlantis, I'm just under so much pressure because of it and they don't seem to understand!" Garth wailed. "I'm scared of losing them! And I'll be lonely. Again."

"If they don't want you, you have me." Kara says, rubbing his head and ruffling his curls a bit. "And Clark, respectively."

Meanwhile, Clover was using the bathroom. Luna smiled as she was washing her hands.

"Good job!" Luna tells her.

Charity came home. She smiled.

"Darling! How was your trip?" Forest says as he embraces her.

"Wonderful, but tiring." She says. "How were things here at home?"

They explain.

"My goodness! That is a lot! And we're invited to a coronation? Who is it for?" Charity asked.

"Garth." Lola says as Clover shivered, seeing Luna, scared she would overwhelm her again.

"Oh, yes, I do remember hearing from Aerwyna and Caspian Bernstein during my trip. They are thrilled to bits that their little Garth is doing so well here and about to become an official Atlantean hero, too! Oh, he is growing up!" Charity says.

Garth sniffed when Karen saw him with Kara. Karen holds him.

"Karen…they're scared of me and I'm scared of losing them!" Garth sobbed as he told her everything that he and Kara talked about.

"I'm sure you won't lose them and Atticus will be fine." Karen says.

"You just don't understand!" Garth sobbed, feeling more stressed than ever.

"I lost my people on my planet!" Kara says as it was rare for her to talk about her personal feelings. She and Garth were soon hugging each other and sobbing.

Garth later headed to work and concentrated on his job. He pulled himself together as he was training the dolphins and getting ready for later.

With Savannah, she had met up with the Lantern Corps.

"Since my friends won't help me, I enlisted you." Savannah says.

"Of course we'll help!" One of them says to her.

Meanwhile, Peach was calling Bill.

"Hey, so what's the update on the beach party?" Peach asked.

"Well, Cool Josh teamed up with Wario and some other guys, so I'm thinking of a plan to aid the others. Oh, my God, we forgot Angry Luigi!" Bill screamed.

"Thanks for looking for me, you jackasses." Angry Luigi says in the castle.

"Aw, I missed you too." Bill says.

"If I can't attend the play, Cool Josh wins. I need to face him in one final showdown." Angry Luigi says. "I've had enough of him and his cronies walking all over me. I've grown up enough to know that he's going to kill the Musibros mentally with these posters. I heard the plan. Go, cosmic buddies!" he says and is gone.

"If he is there, then Savannah…oh, no." Bill says.

With Luke and the boys, they weren't prepared to fight. They didn't even know there was going to be a fight.

"Do we like…suit up?" Hal asked.

"What fight?" Barry asked.

"Apparently Angry Luigi's worst enemy is going to make us fight on Garth's week." Oliver Queen says.

Meanwhile, Cool Josh was texting when he saw Angry Luigi racing.

"Show time." Cool Josh says as he dove for Angry Luigi.

"So, where's Luke and the others? I plan on destroying your play." Cool Josh says.

"1, I lied about bringing them and 2, I don't need them to help me. I'd rather end you without them. Why? Because, well, Garth deserves them, and I've learned something. Being a zero isn't necessarily a bad thing and being too famous changes a person." Angry Luigi says as they rush and clash into each other as they blitz past each other, flying through rocks.

Meanwhile

"Phew, he's doing it without us." Barry says.

"We really screwed up our friendship with Garth." Hal says. "I had no idea he was stressing out that much."

"We really should have listened to him and tried to understand and help him. We've been horrible teammates to him and each other." Shane says.

"What can we do?" Oliver Queen asked. "How can we fix it?"

"Go to the Parks for therapy." Lucy says.

"LUCY! WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT INVADING INVINCIBRO MEETINGS?!" Luke says.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to help. I know the Parks offer good therapy." Lucy says.

"It won't help us make things right with Garth." Hal says. "I know that he thinks we're scared of him."

Lucy leaves and goes to be alone. She decides to just watch Lola and Lana.

Meanwhile, Cool Josh shot ice blades as Angry Luigi leapt, shooting lightning. Cool Josh dodged and choked him.

"Hey, look, I'm sending you a bunch of files!" Bill says.

"Viruses won't help!" He laughed.

"Oh, they're not viruses. They're the grossest things in history, images of Luke, and some others." Bill says.

"They're that bad?! Where'd you find 'em?' Cool Josh asked.

"Deviantart." Bill says as Cool Josh's phone was soon covered in a bunch of Loudcest images.

"Ahhh!" He screamed as Angry Luigi hammered him away.

"Did you include the one with Lana eating Lincoln?" Angry Luigi asked.

"Yep!" Bill says.

"Good job! I guess this is over. We can all go to Greendale. Hop in a portal and go on a vacation." Angry Luigi says as there was a building on fire.

"Come on!" Angry Luigi says.

Meanwhile, Clover was looking at pizza for the 1st time. She had never actually tried it.

"You'll like it. Trust me." Luan says. Clover then took a bite.

"Not bad." Clover says.

Willow was talking to the Invincibros, minus Garth, who was at work.

"You boys screwed up a lot. But you especially made your friend think that you were scared of him. He's scared of losing you guys. I know this because Lucy called and told me what I needed to know." Willow says.

Luke looked down in shame.

"You guys need to understand that Garth is under a lot of stress right now. He knows you'll never be there for him because all you guys do is get into fights with each other and don't always listen to each other. If anything, you need to take a vow right now. A vow that you'll use your words instead of violence to solve your problems." Willow says.

The guys took the vow before Willow spoke again.

"You guys really need to make things right with your friend. And not break that vow again." Willow says. "Especially after you broke the vow with Barry during his mental breakdowns and you all chose to ignore him. I do commend Shane for being there for him. The rest of you had no excuse to just neglect him like you did. Find a way to make things right with Garth. I think he deserves to see that his friends and teammates truly care about him."

The guys nodded and started brainstorming ideas.

Clover was sweeping. That was the only thing her old parents taught her.

The cosmic buddies saved some people as Cool Josh was floating up.

"Oh, you don't know how to quit." Melony says

"Kill…Kill…" He hissed as Savannah returned. "He-whoa!" She says.

He rushed as Angry Luigi took out a Fire Flower. Fire Angry Luigi leaped and grabbed Cool Josh as he used flames. Cool Josh screamed as Fire Angry Luigi used a fire spin jump, hitting him.

Delta clapped and cheered as Cool Josh sighed and walked off.

"Later, loser buddies." Cool Josh says, escaping as the Cosmic Buddies look on.

"Hey, look, tomorrow is your birthday. We'll talk to your mom." Savannah says.

"Yeah, you're our friend." Jason says as they all hug him. "No matter how grown-up you get."

"And we'll respect your wishes. If you don't want to go big, we won't." Savannah says.

With the boys, they prepare a big party. But they try to think of how to make it up to Garth before the party. They were horrible to make him think that they were scared of him.

Garth was busy training dolphins and doing his dolphin show for the aquarium patrons.

"He works so hard, both as a hero and a dolphin trainer. We really should have seen it." Hal says. "He's got this job and the coronation to think about and we wouldn't take the time to listen to him or try to help him."

"Do we have a plan?" Luke asked. He then saw Garth had finished his final dolphin show of the day.

Garth was walking toward the boys. The boys then broke into song.

"It's all about you, Garth, on your 17th birthday!" Hal sang.

"We'll pay attention to you, Garth, we'll all have to do just what you say!" Barry sang.

"You have your very own spotlight tonight, 'cause it's all about you!" Oliver Queen sang.

"Yeah, it's all about Garth, and he's the birthday boy!" Luke and Shane chimed in as Carter tossed confetti on Garth, who sniffed with his stone-blue eyes shimmering, not knowing what to say.

"Y-You guys!" Garth wiped at his eyes, starting to smile. "You do care about me!"

"Happy birthday!" The boys say as they lift Garth up. "Happy birthday to you!"

Later, everyone came for the party, ready to see the show Garth was going to put on.

Charity had a camera, ready to record the whole thing for Garth's parents. Phoebe soon appeared on the stage in the center of the aquarium's stadium.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you to the debut of the Bikini Bottom Boogie show here at the Royal Metro Aquarium! I present the star of this amazing show, the daring and dashing dolphin trainer extraordinaire and a friend to sea creatures big and small, GARTH BERNSTEIN!" Phoebe says as the crowd cheered wildly.

Garth appeared in the costume Oliver Queen designed for him, coming down on a shimmery blue hoop that descended down as he then placed himself on the back of a dolphin as he began the performance of the Bikini Bottom Boogie song to start the show.

The show then continued with dolphin and whale tricks as Garth performed Ripped Pants, The F.U.N. Song, The Campfire Song Song, Underwater Sun, and Goofy Goober Rock.

"Okay, I have one last song, and this is where I want you all to participate with me! Can you all do it?" Garth shouted into the microphone. The crowd cheered in response.

Garth then went into the song Best Day Ever as everyone sang along, Garth surfing on his dolphins and smiling the entire time.

Afterwards, Garth wondered where his friends went during the final song of the show.

"Where could they have gone?" Garth asked himself. "Did they leave?"

They came out of a birthday-themed box. Garth gasped and smiled.

"It's party time!" Hal says.

"Yes!" Garth says.

In the aquarium's biggest party room, the in-house DJ played Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas as everyone was soon dancing. Garth spun Karen and smiled. Kara just watched Clark join the boys on the dance floor.

"I love this SpongeBob-themed party!" Garth says.

Luke and Zee stole the show as everyone was cheering. All Garth could do was smile at this.

Garth soon opened his presents and smiled as he had received a lot of really amazing things from his guests. Oliver Queen smiled as he appeared in his SpongeBob costume.

"Ooooh! Are you gonna give us a preview of the show?!" Garth says, excited. Oliver Queen smiled and nodded. Everyone soon sat in front of the stage in the party room and watched Oliver Queen perform (Just A) Simple Sponge.

Garth was in awe of Oliver Queen's acting as he watched him move across the stage and sing. As soon as Oliver Queen finished that song, he brought Garth on stage and they performed the BFF song with Garth having the role of Patrick for this.

Fans cheered as Oliver Queen smiled at Garth. Garth was a natural on stage.

With Savannah, she was trying to talk Skylia into letting Brandy celebrate his birthday.

"Okay, they can celebrate." Skylia says . "But after tomorrow, their grounding still stands. So you boys better enjoy yourselves tomorrow."

"Fair enough." Savannah says as Brandy smiled a bit.

"So you're back in the cosmic buddies?" Bill asked.

"While I want to be, I have to juggle time with you guys and my new friends now. I'll make time for the Cosmic Buddies, even if it isn't going to be a full-time thing for me anymore." Brandy says.

"We'll take it." Savannah says.

With Garth, he sees his pinata, which looks like SpongeBob's pineapple house.

"What are you waiting for, Garthy-boy? Break that pinata open and release the goodies!" Barry says.

Garth grinned and broke the pinata with the bat Luke gave him, releasing the ocean-themed favors and a huge amount of candy.

Once he and everyone got their share, the DJ played some more music as everyone walked around, helping themselves to the party food or chatting among themselves. Karen smiled and walked up to Garth.

"You deserve this day, my love." Karen says as she kisses Garth. "Are you sure you're ready for your coronation on Sunday?"

"I think I am. I just wish my friends could see how stressed I feel about it and help me feel better. That's all I honestly ever ask of them right now." Garth sniffed.

"I know they'll be there for you. I'm here for you and so is Kara." Karen assures Garth as he smiles a little.

Some time later, Garth was sitting before the cake, which was themed around Bikini Bottom and had toys of SpongeBob, Patrick, and Mr. Krabs on it with a Krusty Krab case to keep them in once the cake was cut. The cake read Sponge-Tastic! Garth Bernstein Is 17! in blue icing and 17 yellow and blue-striped candles are already lit, courtesy of Shane.

Everyone soon began singing to Garth as his face broke into a huge grin. He smiled and soon thought of a wish as he faced the candles on his cake.

He wishes that his friends would understand him better and that they would always be there for him, then he inhales deeply and blows out all his candles in one big breath as everyone in the room cheered.

Karen then fed him his cake and ice cream as Shane served the cake to everyone else, making sure Garth got the toys that were on his cake.

With the Waterlashes, preparations were being made for tomorrow. If the boys were only going to have tomorrow to celebrate their birthday, their friends were going to make sure they had a proper celebration.

Kylie made Melony apologize to Brandy for how she acted toward him. Brandy ended up forgiving her, and Melony had to learn to accept that Brandy wouldn't always be around to help the Cosmic Buddies as he had other priorities due to growing up.
