The World Championships

Chapter 73 The G-Revolutions' Hometown Return

Following the brief layover in Chicago, all twelve planes touched down in Tokyo, Japan at Haneda International Airport. One by one, the planes were towed to their exit tunnels. The exit tunnels were connected to the planes' doors.

"Good evening, everybody, we have now arrived in Tokyo, Japan. Thank you for flying with United Airlines, I hope you enjoy your stay and we look forward to flying with you again in the future. To those who are competing in the finals of the Beyblading World Championships, I wish you all the very best of luck."

Once the farewell address was complete, the G-Revolutions got up from their seats and made their way to baggage reclaim.

"It seems strange to be coming home now."

"Well, Tyson, considering we're in the finals it's almost nice to be home."

"Too bad we won't get to go home yet." Said Tyson. "I'm already missing my granddad and Crash."

"I should expect you are."

As the queue died down, all the bladers, competitor and spectator alike managed to reach the terminal. Now, only one quarter of the teams were left in the tournament. The G-Revolutions noticed Tala and Luna together, along with Oliver and Cordelia.

Soon, all the teams, the nine spectating teams and three finalists were in the car park with their baggage. They gradually entered the taxis while their bags were put in the boots. As this happened, Tala and Luna exchanged a sad but long hug. Oliver and Cordelia did the same.

The taxis' destination was Hotel Keihan Tsukiji Ginza Grande, an exquisite hotel where everyone would be staying for the last battles.

"I can't believe we're actually in the final rounds."

"Yes we'll be taking on the Majestics in a sudden death battle, then if we win we'll face the Blitzkrieg Boyz."

"I hope we can beat the Majestics."

"It'll be nice to take revenge for our loss in Scotland."

Tired, excited and vengeful, the G-Revolutions made their way out. Their thoughts were locked on the Majestics. However, the Majestics would be a deadly set of opponents.

Meanwhile, the Majestics were excited and confident of another victory over the G-Revolutions. They hoped that they'd be able to face the Blitzkrieg Boyz.

"Who do you think will represent this time?"

"Oliver seems a likely idea, if he does I'll face him."

"Good one, Ray."

"I'd like to take revenge on Robert."

"We'll see about that one, Tyson."

"Oh please, Chief."

"I know you want to battle but we've got to give everyone a chance, Tyson."

"I'd like to take a shot at Johnny."

"Perhaps you could face him, Kai."

"But who should battle."

"I think we should decide tomorrow."

"Who do you think we'll face."

"Well, Tyson, judging by Robert and Enrique's victories over Fergus and Larysa of Ocean Shine, I wouldn't be surprised if they stepped up again." Kenny stated. "Then again, there's also chance that Oliver or Johnny could be up to face us."

"Yes, chief, that's valid but I just hope I'm against Robert to take revenge for my defeat in Scotland."

"Perhaps you'll get a chance, perhaps you won't, Tyson."

Tyson sighed, "I'd love to beat him."

"I'm sure you would."

The chance of loss and victory against the Majestics weighed on the G-Revolutions, but they had to be mindful of their opponents' game plans. There was also no guarantee of a victory. If the G-Revolutions lost, they'd be out of the tournament and Tyson wouldn't be the World Champion anymore. There was no way he could let that happen at any cost.

After a long drive to the hotel, all the bladers were exhausted but excited for tomorrow. They helped the taxi drivers unload their belongings and entered the lobby.

In the lobby, the twelve captains received their room keys at the desk. Soon after this, they all went up to their rooms to unpack and rest for the early start in the morning.
