Author's note: I know it's the middle of June, but I didn't wanna wait until December to write this, also this takes place in Harry's 5th year. Lastly, let's just say Draco stays at Hogwarts because his parents went somewhere without him (I just need him to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas in this)

Harry Potter woke up early on Christmas day due to a loud noise coming from the dormitory window, It was Hedwig! Harry's beautiful snowy owl had a package attached to her leg in lovely heart wrapping paper.

"What was that?" asked Seamus, who also woke up from the noise Hedwig made.

"It was just Hedwig," Harry said, opening the window and taking the package off her leg. Harry petted her cheek and let her go up to the owlery for some food.

"Who's it from?" Ron asked, staring at Harry's package.

Harry looked at the package's gift tag, but all it said was, "To Harry Potter," Harry noticed that it looked a lot like Draco Malfoy's handwriting, but he shook it off, as they were enemies, and who would send a Christmas present to their enemy? Harry opened the package, hoping there was a note inside saying who it was from, but when he took off all the wrapping paper, and opened the box, there was no note, just a knitted scarf of glistening gold, with green details that matched the color of Harry's eyes.

"I don't know, it doesn't say," Harry said looking up at Ron, Ron shook it off, grabbing the present from his mother, which, as usual, was a maroon colored knitted sweater, with a knitted on "R" in the middle.

Harry opened his other presents too, but he didn't really focus on them because he was lost in thought of who it could be from, because as much as he thought it was impossible, he had this odd feeling that the scarf was from Draco Malfoy.

Meanwhile, in the Slytherin common room

Draco Malfoy was sitting alone, sort of regretting his choice to make Harry Potter a christmas present, 'What if he doesn't like it?' he thought to himself. Draco was so nervous about showing that he liked Harry, that instead of admitting it, he always bullied Harry and his friends. 'At least I didn't sign it,' He thought.

Draco's friends, Blaise Zabini and Pansy Parkinson didn't come down from their dormitories for about an hour or two, as Draco woke up early so he could give Hedwig Harry's present. When Blaise woke up, he noticed that Draco didn't open any of his presents, and knew that something was up, and came down stairs to ask what's wrong. When Blaise got down stairs and sat next to Draco, he noticed right away that something was wrong, Draco was lost in thought, and Blaise thought he saw a glimpse of sadness in his eyes.

"What's wrong?" Blaise asked, snapping Draco out of his trance, "You didn't open any of your presents?"

Draco looked at Blaise, "I did something stupid," he said, Blaise could've sworn his voice broke but it was only for a second.

"What?" Blaise said, a bit worried for his friend

"I-uh," Draco started, happy that his friends already knew about his crush on Harry. "I kinda sent Potter a christmas present"

"That's really cute," said Pansy, finally coming down the stairs she had been sitting on for the last few minutes, and sitting on the other side of Draco.

"But I'm afraid that he won't like it," Draco admitted voice breaking even more this time.

"Oh, I'm sure he will," Pansy said, attempting to comfort her friend.
