Here we go!

Disclaimer I don't own The Walking Dead, just my ocs and plotlines.

Rick's POV

He sat in silence at the reveal, that this stran- no, his sister. Oh my god. He remembered the year, but as soon as she told him the date, he remembered it all. It was like he got hit by a train full of information. Why did he forget?

"Rick?" Callie calls out to him and he finally looks at her. Her face, full of worry. Blue eyes that match his. Why is he only now seeing it?

"How?" He finally manages to get out.

She breathes deeply. "I found someone to find out the information. They found out the names, Dorothy and Christopher Grimes. They went into hospital May 3rd 1987 at 12pm..." she pauses and watched his reaction, seeing realisation hit his face. "She had a daughter, me, at 2:05pm, and left the hospital at 8pm." She describes. "Do you remember her being in pain?"

His eyes were glassy. He remembered that day very well. His mother, hunched over, breathing very deeply. He blinked the memory away when he realised he hasn't answered her. "Yes. I asked if she was okay. But she went on bed rest for a few days. They told me they had a stillborn."

Callie had to sit down next to him. Tears fell down her face and she hastily wiped them away. "I didn't know who I was until I was 18. I made a phone call and a man picked up. I didn't know who it was."

"I had a call 5 years ago, on May 8th. No one talked. I had a weird feeling in my stomach but I ignored it." Rick tells her. "We could've found each other years ago. But, why are you telling me this now?" His voice went stern, clearly angry at the thought.

Callie was taken aback for a moment but understood his anger. He was finding out a secret about his family, that he had another sibling and his parents didn't tell him. A part of life that he could have had. She takes a shaky breath. "I was scared. I thought they wouldn't want me in their lives since they got rid of me. The reason why I came back to Atlanta was because of you. When you got shot. I saw you in the hospital, but left after a little bit. I didn't want anyone to find out who I was to you."

Rick grabbed her shoulder. "I need some time. I'll talk to you after the gun training." He gets up and walks over to Carl, who was waiting patiently. It was very sudden but she understood. He needed time to wrap his head around it.

His head went a million miles per hour. He had a sister that his parents didn't tell him about. He wasn't angry at Callie, she was in an impossible situation that she had to tell him. He was mad at his parents. Him and Jeffrey didn't know about her, they could've had a different childhood, a sister that they could act overly brotherly together. Maybe they could have had a better brother relationship because of this. His mind wandered to Jeffrey, they had a big argument, Jeffrey was 26, he wanted to travel the world, working as he travels, but Rick didn't want that for him. He wanted him to be in the police force, just like him. He had the skills, the patience, but Jeffrey was mad, he wanted to be a traveller.

If only he didn't go on and on about it. Jeffrey would be here, right now, with him in the apocalypse. Not somewhere in Europe. He didn't even know where he was since he was in a coma when Jeffrey flew out.

Carl gave him a look. "Dad, are you okay?" He asks him in concern. Uncertainty in his voice.

He nods. "Yeah. Just had a talk with Callie..." he stops at that, wondering if he should tell Carl. No, not yet. He'll give it some time. "Never mind." He chuckles before continuing. "Now if you're gonna do this, you listen to Shane." He tells him, knowing that he's participating in gun training, they were walking towards the cars, well, Shane loading them up with a lot of handguns.

"Okay, dad." Carl smiles at him. He was standing tall, bugging himself up.

Rick couldn't have been more proud of Carl. Not even a month ago, he was shot and dying in his arms, and he was running as fast as he could to this very farm. His heart in his throat, as he feels Carl's blood dampening his shirt. Not knowing whether he would live or die. His son survives, because of Shane and Otis. He owes his brother so much. Now they met new people that he does consider a part of the group, but it is still a working progress with Hershel.

Callie's POV

She walks over to Jeremy who was getting in a car with Amy. "Jer." She calls and both Jeremy and Amy glance at him.

"I'll give you a minute." Amy smiles before jumping in the car.

Jeremy smiles at her before looking at Callie, they walk a bit aways from the car so she wouldn't hear.

"Going to the range?" She asks him and he nods his head.

"Shit. Yeah, sorry. I forgot to mention it this morning. I'm gonna teach Amy how to shoot." He tells her and she nods.

"Go for it. It's a smart plan. She needs to learn. They all do." Callie supports it, and she rubs at her eyes, noticing the tears there. Why couldn't she stop crying?

"Cal, are you okay?" He asks her, the concern on his face makes her smile.

"He knows." She tells him and he nods his head, understanding on his face.

"I'm here if you need anything." He says and she smiles warmly at him.

She notices Shane staring at them. "Go on. They're gonna need you to teach them." She jokes and he chuckles before walking to the car.

She stands next to Dale and watches the group get into the cars. She sees Glenn just waiting, twitching a lot. What was he on? He looks like a college student who had way too much caffeine and not enough sleep.

"You coming?" Shane asks Glenn who looked panicked for a second.

"I gotta help Dale clean the spark plugs on the RV. He said he's gonna teach me mechanics..." He rambles and Callie and Dale locked eyes. "I should probably go look for him." He does some weird hand gestures.

"You found me." Dale announces and both Shane and Glenn found the pair of them standing together. "He's a good learner. Callie's learning mechanics now as well." Dale explains to Shane who accepts the answer. They watch the group get into cars and Callie meets Rick's eye. He smiles warmly at her before he hops in and drives off.

It feels good that Rick finally knows that she's his sister. She felt like a weight has been lifted.

"Spark plugs, huh? Want to tell me what's going on?" Dale asks him and Glenn looks at Callie nervously.

"Come on, Glenn, it can't be that bad." Callie assures him and he nods his head nervously.

"You're old." He looks at Dale and Callie snorts. Dale just stares at him. "You're... you know things." He corrects himself. "So, what if somebody told you something that somebody else should know..."

Dale looks at him dumbfounded. "Glenn, stop being dramatic. Spit it out."

A beat passes.

"There's walkers in the barn and Lori's pregnant." He finalises and Callie just stares at him.

Okay, it was bad.

Jeremy's POV

He watched Amy hit the target, and he smiles proudly at her. She needed to learn how to protect herself.

It as him, T-Dog, Shane and Rick watching over the group shoot at their targets. Hershel allowed Jimmy, Patricia, Noa and Beth to learn how to shoot. Which surprised all of them.

However, he was noticing Rick spacing out and looking at him now and again. Callie must have told him.

"Hey, come on man. Don't give me that gangsta shit." T-Dog says, looking at Jimmy who hasn't hit the target. He was holding it on its side, trying to impress his girlfriend, Beth, who was doing pretty well herself. She's hit her target twice.

The best that he can rate is Amy, he might be a little biased there. Damien, Richie, Carl, Beth, Tabby, and Noa.

Tabby holds up a gun and pulls the trigger, hitting the target.

"Good job." Rick compliments her before carrying on to Jeremy and Amy.

Amy looked slightly nervous before Jeremy nods at her. She took a stance and aimed at the bottle standing on the post in front of her. And fired and saw the glass bottle shatter.

"Well done." He pats her on the back before continuing.

Amy smiles at Jeremy.

"I'm a good shot." Amy says smugly, a cheeky grin on her face and he grins in return.

"Yeah, you are."

They reset all the bottles on the posts before continuing. That's when Jeremy watched Andrea, Shane and Rick talk, clearly her gun training was going better than they thought. But he's not surprised, after all that drama between her and Dale, he was expecting her to be good, otherwise it would've been embarrassing if she wasn't.

They hand her a new gun and she takes aim at the bottle, fires and they all watch the bottle explode.

Rick congratulates her before walking towards Carl and Maya. However, as he was walking past, Jeremy gives him a look, asking to talk. He nods before continuing to the youngest of the group.

"Again." Jeremy orders Amy and she smiles cockily at him.

"I like when you get all bossy on me." She says suggestively and T-Dog snorts, overhearing the conversation.

"Stop." Jeremy mutters and she giggles before turning towards her target,

She aims her gun and pulls the trigger and they watch the glass bottle shatter.

She turns to him and smiles, he returns one.

"Nice one. You're a pro already." T-Dog supports her and she smiles shyly at him.

Jeremy looks at Carl, seeing him take the stance, aiming his gun and pulls the trigger. He sees the bottle shatter and smiles. He's getting good at this. He also looks at Connor and Maya, both shot their bottles of the fence. Josie will be proud of them.

"That's a great shot." He hears Rick praise Carl and he sees the internal struggle on Rick's face.

The stress of leading this group, the secrets, the lies and more complications than anything in history. There is no how to lead in an apocalypse manual for both Rick and Callie.

"Right, that's it for today folks. You all did well. We'll pick it up again soon." Shane announces and the group murmurs in disappointment. Jeremy looks at Amy who looks sad about the session ending. "Put the safety on, and place your guns in the bag. Me and Andrea will be staying behind to continue to session. So, you guys will go back with Rick." He explains to everyone.

Jeremy was very suspicious of Shane, considering he is the biggest hot headed and him with Andrea alone.

The group starts packing the guns away and Rick walks towards him.

"Can we talk?" He asks and Jeremy sees Amy glance at him curiously.

He nods his head. "Yeah."

They walk a little aways from the group but still in eyesight. "So you know." Rick points out, anger lacing up in his voice.

He nods his head. "Yeah. Only for a day. She was hesitant on telling me about it. She didn't know how to tell you. It's not easy telling someone that type of secret."

Rick sighs. "I don't know what to do. Do I talk to her? Do I just carry on as we were? Do I tell my family?" He rambles and Jeremy felt his confusion.

The man just learned he now has a sister, who is co-leading the group with him. How was he going to continue?

"Look, I don't know what you're going through, right now. But you need to talk to her about it, maybe you need time to adjust to this. But you can't push her away. She is helping you to lead the group so you can't ignore her and pretend she doesn't exist." Jeremy breathes and noticed tears in Rick's eyes.

Summer's POV

She was at the farm on her own. Well, not entirely, she still had Dale, Glenn, Callie, Hershel, Maggie, Damien, Harriett, Richie, Daisy and Josie. Josie was resting due to being uncomfortable once again. Summer couldn't blame her, she was heavily pregnant.

That's when she saw Glenn, Callie, and Dale have a rushed conversation before Dale walks off, Glenn looks overwhelmed and Callie looks really concerned. What the hell is going on?

She knew she wasn't gonna get any answers from Callie, maybe Glenn. But she would follow Dale, he looked a little panicked but was quickly composing himself near the stables. She quickly follows him and hides by the door after he enters, walking towards someone. She peeps out and sees he was walking towards Hershel, who was brushing a horse.

"Nervous Nelly?" Dale asks, a bit uncertain. "She find her way home?" He was impressed with the horse.

"Found her in her stall this morning." Hershel answers vaguely.

Dale looks a bit skeptical before he continues on. "I love your fields. Took a long walk this morning. I ended up by the barn." He says finally and that's what gets Hershel's attention.

"What are you doing?" A whisper makes her jump and she whacks her arm on the door.

"Ow." She hisses out and quickly shushed Harriett, who was the one that snuck up on her. She puts her hands up in self defence before peeping into the barn. She sees Dale turn away from the door, clearly he didn't see them, otherwise the conversation they are having would be over.

"What are they talking about?" Harriett whispers.

Summer glares at her. "If you shut up, we'll find out." She whispers harshly and they both go silent.

"I heard the moans." Dale points out to the older man who looks worried.

"That's unfortunate." Hershel says, a little saddened by the face.

The two girls look at teach other. Moans? Someone having sex? Or walkers? She hopes it's walkers.

"I'm sure you have your reasons for keeping this a secret." Dale starts before Hershel interrupts him.

"I saw the broadcasts before they stopped, saw the irrational fear, the atrocities, like the incident at my well." Hershel snaps angrily and Summer puts it together at the same time as Harriett.

Harriet turns to her and mouths 'walkers'.

Dale gives him a look. "We took down a walker." He defends.

Hershel looks at him again. "You killed a person."

It falls silent for a moment. Summer couldn't believe this. There are walkers in the barn. And Hershel thinks they are people. Does Callie and Rick know this secret? Are they keeping it from the group? If they are, they're putting the group in jeopardy. No. Callie must know, and Glenn. They were talking about it earlier. Is Callie keeping it from Rick? Trying to overthrow him for leadership? Was she wrong about this group? Her mind was reeling with questions.

"Well..." Dale starts "... if you watched the same broadcasts I did, you saw walkers attack, kill. They're dangerous." Dale tries to reason. But it was like talking to a brick wall.

"A paranoid schizophrenic is dangerous too. We don't shoot sick people." Hershel responds.

This was getting too dangerous now, she wanted to get involved but Harriett places a hand on her arm to stop her. She quickly shakes her head.

"With all due respect, you are cut off from the outside world here. But I've seen people that I care about die and come back, and they're not people." He's on about Aubrey.

"My wife and stepson are in that barn." Hershel drops on Dale who looks speechless. "They're people."

"I'm sorry. Let me help. I'll speak to Rick and Callie. They're good people. Good leaders. We can make the barn more secure, keep everybody safe." Dale tries to reason with him.

"The barn is secure. Keep this to yourself if you want to help."

"Rick is a man of conscience, Callie is open to reason..." Dale tries to get Hershel to understand but he interrupts again.

"But are you so sure of everyone in your group?"

Both herself and Harriett lock eyes. Shane. They knew who he meant. He was the hothead in the group. Summer peeps out again and that's when Hershel meets her eye and both Harriett and herself run away. Shit. They were caught. Did they ruin their chance to stay on the farm by finding out this secret?

They were waiting by a tree near the camp site when Dale came up to them.

"You both heard." He states and they nod their heads.

"Does Callie and Rick know?" Harriett asks him and he pulls a face.

"Callie found out this morning. Rick doesn't know. Callie wants to tell Rick when he gets back but we're going to... wait the night."

Summer looks at him bewildered. "Are you serious?" She hisses.

"Yes. Glenn will tell the group tomorrow, at breakfast. And not a minute later. I want to prove we can survive one more night." Dale explains and Harriett stares at him.

"You're willing to gamble that."

Dale nods his head and they knew that he was certain the barn will hold. The three turn to the barn, knowing the secret that lays inside could rip them apart, literally and figuratively.

I wanted to have different views. But the one convo I loved was between Dale and Hershel, they didn't have many interactions in the show, but this one was important to keep in.
