Author's note: I'm so sorry this took so long. To be honest, I completely forgot about this fanfic, but I really enjoy where it's going, so I'm still going to continue it.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione spent the rest of the day in the library working on homework, which they had got the most from Umbridge (Author's note: f*king toad) and Snape. Hermione did most of the work, since Ron never pays attention in class and Harry couldn't stop thinking about Draco. They worked hard until after lunch when lo and behold Draco Malfoy, and his friends walked in. Draco and Harry locked eyes for a moment before they both abruptly looked away. Harry couldn't stop staring at him for the next hour until Hermione finally broke the silence, "You should just go and talk to him, you know" Harry looked up, butterflies in his stomach, and opened his mouth to protest, but Hermione stopped him, "No buts, go." Harry reluctantly obeyed, slowly walking over to the table the Slytherins were at. Draco noticed Harry walking towards them, hoping that he would turn the corner, but of course he didn't.
"Malfoy, can I talk to you alone?" Harry asked, still with butterflies in his stomach.
"Sure," Draco said, also a bit nervous.
They walked to a corner of the library that nobody was really ever in, and stood there in silence for a second, until Draco broke it. "So, um, what did you want to talk about?"
"Ummm…." Harry responded nervously, "I know this might be weird because, you know, we're enemies, but umm, would you maybe consider going on a date with me?"
For a second Draco look shocked but then that same smile Harry saw in the Great Hall all those weeks ago wiped across his face,
"YES! I mean, yes, yes I will"
Harry smiled a dorky smile as they worked out the details, which was next Sunday at the Hogs head (mainly because they knew most of the people they knew weren't going to be there) at 5:00 pm.
Harry's smile was still on his face when he walked back to Ron and Hermione's table.
"So~, How'd it go?," Hermione said excitedly.
"Good, it went really good," Harry said, his stomach finally releasing the butterflies.
With Draco
Draco walked back to his table looking and feeling happier than he had ever been in his life.
"So, I take it with that, it went well," Pansy said, smiling at her friend's happiness.
"It did," Draco said, looking back at Harry, who was doing the same, which let the emerald green eyes meet the pearly gray ones.
