Well that last chapter was chaotic but I hope you all enjoyed it. Now onto the rest of the episode then season 2 is officially finished.
Disclaimer I don't own The Walking Dead just my ocs and plotlines.
Tabby's POV
Amy swerved the car away from the walkers coming their way, they saw the blue pick up and the Ford drive away, now they just have to swing out.
"We need to get off the farm." Richie points out and she snorts.
"You think?"
"It's like the quarry all over again." Amy mutters nervously.
Harriett was gripping a hold of the handle to keep herself steady.
Tabby was worried about everyone and that Amy was right. What happens if it doesn't turn out like the quarry and they all die?
Amy quickly sped off the farm and they all sighed in relief.
"I hope everyone got out." She mumbles and Richie looks at her.
"They will. Callie said the plan to everyone, meet at the highway."
Amy nods, putting her foot on the gas to speed the car away. "I'm gonna try and lose the herd, don't want any following us to the highway."
She looks back at the farm and sees the orange hue, making the night sky look eerie.
Noa's POV
Her, Rick, Maya and Carl managed to escape the walkers and found a shortcut to the house, where they saw her dad shooting at walkers, but no one else.
"Come on!" He yells starting to walk backwards. "Come on!"
That's when she notices a walker sneaking up to her father.
"I've got it." Rick states and walks up to it, quickly raising his gun and firing. The walker drops dead and her dad turns around, a bit of walker blood on the back of his head.
"Dad." She hugs him. They both were covered in blood, she still couldn't believe that Jimmy died in front of her and she could only watch it happen.
"Where's Lori? Did you see Lori?" Rick asks her dad.
"I don't know what happened, Rick. They just keep coming. It's like a plague. They're everywhere." Her dad rambles.
"Lori! Did you see her?" Rick demands him.
He shakes his head. "No!"
"We have to go. Find mom and the others." Rick states and aims his gun at a walker and fires, the sound echoing.
She has never seen this many walkers, there were loads coming towards them drawn by the fire from her dad, and Rick.
"It's my farm!" Her dad says, and Rick grabs him.
"Not anymore!" He yells and they head towards her dad's car.
"Come on!" Her dad yells and they all get in, her Maya, and her dad in the back while Carl and Rick in the front.
Rick quickly puts his foot on the gas and they sped away. As they went on the trial, Maya hugged into her and was crying, she was soothing her, and she looks at her dad who was looking back at their home, and they could see the orange hue behind from the barn fire.
She could hear Jimmy's screams in her head. Now that the adrenaline rush was over and she squeezes her eyes shut.
Summer's POV
Carol was crying as they were quickly trying to leave the farm. They've lost their energy really quick, and she didn't want to leave Carol.
They manage to get to the gate when Daryl on his bike rides up.
"Come on! I ain't got all day." He urges and she gets on, quickly squishing into Daryl and Carol hops on.
"Let's go!" Carol cries as walkers approach them and Daryl immediately rides off.
She looks back at the farm, wondering how many people are dead, and how many got away.
Callie's POV
They have been riding for some time now, the horses going into a walk now that they were far enough from the farm that the walkers couldn't catch up to them.
"When will we get to the highway?" Daisy asks her and she looks at her watch.
"In an hour." She says and they nod their heads.
It was quiet between the three of them as they rode on, she occasionally looked back towards the direction of the farm to make sure that they weren't following.
"Anything?" Connor asks her.
She shakes her head and she could see the tension in Daisy's shoulders disappear and the relief on Connor's face. "We should speed up, try to get the highway by mornin'."
Daisy nods her head and kicks the horse, getting it into a trot, and Connor follows closely behind.
She could tell that they were almost by the highway, it was now morning, and the trees were starting to thin out. They should be there in ten minutes.
She heard a twig snap and Daisy pulls the horse to a stop.
"What is it?" She whispers and Callie holds a hand out and Connor does the same.
She quietly slid off the horse and crept towards the noise, if it's a walker, she can handle it, but she knew it couldn't be the herd. That was too far behind them.
"Callie!" Connor shouts and she turns to her left and a walker catches her off guard making her fall. The walker falls on top of her, snarling.
"Shit!" She curses, she dropped her machete in the leaves. "Go!" She yells at the kids as she hears more walkers and they kick the horses into gear and gallop away.
The walker was gripping her arms, tightly that she knew there would be bruises in the morning. She knees the walker in the groin, catching it off guard and making it release her, giving her enough time to reach for her machete and stabbing it in the head.
She throws it off and quickly takes off in the direction of the highway, but a sharp pain erupts in her ankle. Shit I rolled it awkwardly. She hobbles away, as she hears about five walkers behind her, snarling away.
Her ankle was throbbing by the time she got to the highway, but she had to climb the hill which was going to be painful for her. She could hear talking and could almost cry with relief hearing them.
She got to the top of the hill, her ankle screaming at her in protest when a walker grabs her shoulder. Shit, she didn't realise how close they were. They both fell back down the hill and she yells out.
"Fuck!"
She lands on her machete into her side and she cries out in agony, the blade piercing her side right through. Luckily the walker broke its leg so it was crawling back to her. Grabbing at her arm again so she grabs a rock beside her and smashes its head in, bringing it back down with a sickening crunch.
"Callie!" She hears Rick call out and she sees the world going fuzzy.
"Down here." She calls back up and next minute she saw Rick in her view.
"You look terrible." He comments and she snorts.
"I feel terrible." She mumbles and he grabs her, carefully bringing her to her feet and she hisses from the pain, her vision going. "Stop. Stop." She pants and he does so.
But before she could take another step, her vision goes black and she couldn't hear anything but Rick shouting her name.
"Callie!"
Jeremy's POV
Rick was carrying an injured Callie back to the group and he noticed the machete in her side.
"Shit." He curses and helps him carry Callie the rest of the way back to the group, where they were only waiting on Amy, Harriett, Richie and Tabby.
"Oh my god." Lori gasps at the sight of her sister in law and they lay her down on the floor.
"Do we have any supplies Hershel?" He asks the older man who shakes his head.
"I do!" Summer exclaims, looking into her bag and pulls out a first aid kit.
He regretted not doing the job earlier in the day to put all the supplies in the cars. Between nineteen of them, they only had a backpack full of things. One singular backpack. Maybe 23 when the other car arrives. Damien was hugging Daisy in relief and Connor was reunited with his mother and sister.
She hands the first aid kid to Hershel who opens it up. Seeing bandages and a needle and thread, just enough to stitch her up. Luckily enough there were cleansing wipes too to not get it infected, the only thing was, she had nothing for the pain.
Just as they were about to start, a car turns up, and he sees Amy. He felt relief in his stomach at seeing her again.
The car pulls to a stop and Amy runs out and immediately hugs him.
"I'm okay." Jeremy says and Amy sobs in his arms. "You're okay."
"Have you seen Andrea?" Amy asks and the whole group goes silent.
"She saved me and Summer then we lost her." Carol informs everyone.
T-Dog sighs. "We saw her go down."
"You definitely saw Andrea?" Rick asks, trying to confirm.
He kept a hold of Amy, she looked ready to pass out from the information of the possibility of losing her sister.
"There were walkers everywhere." Carol says.
"Where is she?" Amy demands, she was gripping tightly on him at that point.
"Did you see her?" Rick presses and the group falls silent, confirming that no one knows if Andrea is dead or alive.
Glenn nods. "I'm gonna go back."
"No." Rick orders and everyone goes silent, and looks at Rick in shock. Amy was starting to look sick.
Even he was shocked looking at Rick, the man who didn't want to give up the search for Sophia.
Glenn gives him a look. "We can't just leave her."
"We don't even know if she's there." Hershel says, standing up for Rick.
Rick shakes his head. "She isn't there. She isn't. She's somewhere else or she's dead. There's no way to find her."
"So we're not even gonna look for her?" Glenn asks him.
"We gotta keep moving. There have been walkers crawling all over here. I say head east. Stay off the main roads."
Daryl nods. "The bigger the road, the more walkers, more assholes like this one. I got him." He aims his crossbow at an approaching walker and fires, killing it.
Amy was surprisingly quiet about Andrea, which did shock him due to her reaction to Shane before. But she's probably in shock due to everything happening last night.
Callie's POV
Her vision started to get blurry, and she notices that she was on her side.
"Hey." Jeremy greets her and she blinks up at him. Seeing everything come into view.
"She awake?" Rick asks and she could feel the stinging of her side, she looks down, wincing and seeing bandages instead of a machete.
"Barely." She mumbles and Carl giggles.
She could see Lori holding her legs. "How are you feeling?"
She winces. "It hurts."
Jeremy nods. "Yeah, it's to be expected. We didn't have any morphine, so Hershel had to stitch you up without it."
"Damn." Rick mutters.
"What's wrong?" T-Dog asks him.
What was the matter now?
"We've been riding red for the past hour." Rick informs them.
T-Dog looks at him worried. "Better make sure we don't get forgot."
Rick beeps the horn, alerting the rest of the group.
Jeremy looks at her. "You okay?"
She nods, wincing at the pain in her stomach. "Feels like I got stabbed."
Jeremy smirks. "Well if you weren't so clumsy." He jokes, and she laughs, but stops from the pain. "Hey, stop laughing."
"I can't help it." She moans as the pain was unbearable.
The car pulls to a stop, and they get out of the car.
Jeremy was about to close the door but stops. "Stay here." He orders and she nods.
But she wasn't going to anyway.
She slowly lifts herself up, squeezing her eyes shut from the pain erupting from her stomach.
By the time she got herself out of the vehicle, the group were all looking at Rick for answers. Oh for fuck sake.
"You know I found Randall, right?" Daryl looks at Rick. "He had turned, but he wasn't bit."
Callie and Rick meet each other's eyes.
"How's that possible?" Beth asks, looking at Rick.
"Rick, what the hell happened?" Lori asks her husband, her arms around her son.
"Shane killed Randall. Just like he always wanted to." Daryl informs everyone.
Some members of the group look terrified.
Rick was looking at her and she understood why, and she nods. They have to tell him.
"And then the herd got him?" Lori asks and Rick stays silent.
"We're all infected." Rick announces and the group falls silent.
Daryl just looks at Rick, bewildered. "What?"
"At the CDC, Jenner told me." She admits to the group and they were now looking between Rick and herself. Jeremy was staring at her, she was leaning on the car for support.
"Whatever it is. We all carry it." Rick adds on.
"And you both never said anything?" Carol accuses, looking between the pair of them in disgust.
Rick just stares at her. "Would it have made a difference?"
Glenn was looking between them in disbelief. "You both knew this whole time?"
"How could we have known for sure? You sat how crazy that mo-
"That is not your call." Glenn snaps at him.
Callie had to clench her fists, immediately people were blaming her and Rick for keeping it a secret. They would have all stayed at the CDC to commit suicide if they learnt it then.
"Okay, when I found out about the walkers in the barn, I told for the good of everyone." Glenn argues.
"Well, I thought it best that people didn't know." Rick bites back.
She sighs. "It was my call." She admits and the group stares at her. The silence saying enough and the hurt in their eyes clear as day. "I thought it'd be better if people didn't know."
The group just stayed silent, looking at both herself and Rick in disgust. Rick just clenches his jaw and walks away, and Lori follows after him.
Which left the group looking at her, judging her for the bad call. What choice would they have made if they were in her shoes? Cause a panic and risk more members of the group to stay behind with Jenner and Jacqui.
"You need to sit." Jeremy finally speaks and helps her to the car seat, and she didn't protest.
"Go on, blame me." She bites at him, she was waiting for the judgement from her brother.
He shakes his head. "There's no point. I agree with the both of you, I was shocked you didn't tell me." He admits to her and she nods.
"Instead of Rick?" She offers and he nods.
"I admit, I was jealous with how close you two had gotten, but he's your family. He's your brother."
She interrupts him. "So are you."
Jeremy looks at her. "I know. But right now, you both need to show the others that you're leaders."
She shakes her head. "They hate us for not saying anything."
"Right now they do, but they need two leaders to make decisions for them, they're not capable of it, that's why they can't see the reason why you didn't tell them. You both thought it was the best option to not say anything, if you guys did, we would've never had left the CDC." Jeremy says and she was grateful for him understanding.
It was night time and they made camp, her and Rick were away from the group due to the heated looks they've been getting. She had to walk away from it. Call her a coward, but she knew she made the right choice at that time.
It was silent between the two of them for a second.
"You killed Shane." She comments, it wasn't a question, she knew why. She was sure everyone would know why. He was crazy.
It was silent for a moment, a beat passing. She knew he was contemplating on telling her but she could see it in his eyes, they look tired and angry. All the emotions were there, he just had to say the words. "I did." Rick says and she nods her head.
"Good." She says honestly and she could feel his eyes on her. "You made the right call."
She could see Rick frown. "Did I?"
She nods her head. "Rick, he would've killed you if you didn't stop him. And maybe if you did come back to the farm together, he would've done it again. He would've kept on trying until you were dead." He stays silent. "I'm sorry you had to made that decision alone." She pauses and she knew right then what her decision was. "I'm with you, Rick." She tells him honestly and he looks at her. "We'll make the decisions together. Just you and me. We'll always have each other's backs, no matter what."
"I'm with you too." Rick announces and she hugs her brother.
"You're my brother, I'm with you till the end." She tells him honestly. She could see the emotions on her brother's face.
After their heartfelt talk, they went back to the group and they heard a noise in the woods.
"What was that?" Beth asks nervously.
"Could be anything." Daryl says, trying to calm the group down. "Could be a raccoon, could be a possum."
"Walker." Maya says nervously, hugging her mom.
"We need to leave. I mean what are we waiting for?" Glenn says, looking at the two leaders.
"Which way?" Rick asks, his hand on his gun.
"It came from over there." T-Dog points in the direction.
"Back from where we came." Maggie comments and everyone looks terrified, except her and Rick.
"Yeah." Rick answers and the group looks terrified.
"The last thing we need is for everyone to be running off in the dark." Callie says, trying to calm the group down.
"We don't have the vehicles. No one's travelling on foot." Rick adds on.
Hershel nods. "Don't panic."
Maggie gets up nervously. "I'm not... I'm not sitting here, waiting for another herd to blow through."
"We need to move now." Glenn says, agreeing with his girlfriend.
"No one is going anywhere." Rick announces, snapping at them.
Carol looks at the pair of them. "Do something."
"I am doing something! I'm keeping this group together, alive. I've been doing that all along, no matter what. I didn't ask for this." He hisses taking a breath and she looks at him. "I killed my best friend for you people, for Christ's sake!" The group just stares at him in shock. "You saw what he was like, how he pushed me, how he compromised us, how he threatened us. He staged the whole Randall thing, led me out to put a bullet in my back. He gave me no choice. He was my friend, but he came after me. My hands are clean." He pauses for a second. "Maybe you better off without me. Go ahead. I say there's a place for us, but maybe... maybe it's just another pipe dream. Maybe... maybe I'm fooling us again. Why don't you... why don't you go and find out yourself? Send me a postcard. Go on, there's the door. You can do better? Let's see how far you get. No takers? Fine. But get one thing straight... you're staying. This isn't a democracy anymore."
The group stays silent, looking at each other at what Rick just revealed.
She decides then to speak up. "Me and Rick are in charge, we'll make the decisions from now on."
Jeremy just nods at her.
I only wanted the different povs during the chaos, and I'll write it as well for 3x4, if you know you know. Due to there being differences, which is why I included them. Now we're back to Callie's pov. It will change now and again to different characters, but the main is Callie. The Rallie dictatorship is here.
