Mystical Danger of the Skull Gator Swamp
"Okay gang, time we head out for our next heist of the Fiendish Five takedown." Sly announced.
"The snacks are all packed!" Murray informed holding two coolers.
"We even got some comic books for the road." Scorpia said with several comic books in her pinchers.
"We got all the equipment for the trip and making sure they are in tiptop shape." Bentley said as Entrapta help puts them in the van.
"We also got the bug spray to keep any mosquitoes from sucking our blood into nothing but skin and bones." Entrapta said as she hops in.
"…You do know mosquitoes don't suck your blood that much, right?" Sly asked, feeling a little weird of that.
"That just guy Entrapta is with bugs these days, we're hoping she would grow out of that soon." Catra said.
"By the way, Bentley, is the thing I asked you for is ready yet?" Sly asked, whispering to Bentley.
"All ready to go. Want to give it to Catra now?" Bentley asked.
"Not yet, let's wait until we get to the location of our next target." Sly answered with a grin, feeling excited to give Catra this special gift soon.
"Father, I am happy to report that everyone is all checked out and we're ready to leave." Entrapta informed.
"Glad to hear that!" Bentley said with a thumb up.
"You heard the purple arm-haired girl, let's get moving!" Sly yelled of excitement.
"Oh yeah, time to give another bad guy a face full of thieving strikes!" Catra punned which everyone just stares at us.
"Okay, that sounded better in my head." Catra admitted.
"Murray, punch it!" Catra shouted.
"I'm punching it!" Murray pressed on the gas paddle hard and the van zooms right out of the old train yard and onto the streets.
Catra stick her head out the window ironically acting like a dog for a moment before going back in on the laps of her adopted father, and they look at the case file for information about the third member of the Fiendish Five and what makes her so dangerous.
Sly: The third member of the Fiendish Five is the dark voodoo priestess, Mz. Ruby.
Mz. Ruby is a dark green alligator with a light green belly and mouth, along with sharp teeth, spikes on her tail and dark blue hair. She also has red eyes. Her attire includes what appears to be a pinkish-purple sleeveless shirt, a red bandana on her head tying up her hair, one gold ring on each of her ankles and two of them on her wrists. She also has her fingernails and toenails painted red in addition to the ruby in her belly button, and also wears a gold necklace around her neck.
Catra: And that's spelling it with a Z because she was born in a family of mystic which may sound cool, but not so much to others she tried to make friends only for them to run away and making dead be her friends.
They see a picture of Mz. Ruby as a child trying to make friends with a couple of girls, but they are scared of her when Mz. Ruby tried to offer them a dead rat that was runover by a car. Another picture shows Mz. Ruby having a tea party with a skeleton and the head fell off.
Sly: Because of being shunned and fear by others, a life of crime has given Mz. Ruby the idea to punish the world for fearing her as a child. Chief Mystic for the Fiendish Five, her powers allowed them to break the laws of man and nature.
Another shows Mz. Ruby concentrating on her crystal ball showing her a bank seeing a future of that bank being robbed.
Catra: Well, guess the girl has some good times out in the world, but guess she will always go to the stinky surrounding of a swamp like in the Haitian jungle. Hopefully my nose will survive this.
The Cooper Van arrived at the entrance point of the swampy lair of Mz. Ruby as Catra and Sly made their way to path that is suited to get themselves in.
"Sorry Sly, but this is one mission you will have to accomplish without me." Bentley said.
"You don't believe in ghost, do you?" Sly asked.
"Sure I do. My scanners have picked up verifiable paranormal activity, but that's not the problem." Bentley mentioned.
"What could be more problem than ghosts?" Catra asked.
"How about this place being filled with disgusting mold and bacteria!" Entrapta grossed out.
"Come on, you two going to be fine because you're going to be in the van the entire time." Catra pointed out.
"Point taken; I suddenly feel much better now." Entrapta smiled.
"Hey dad, check out those vines and roots." Catra pointed at the roots and vines.
"Good eye, Catra, they will be perfect for the new move you got from Muggshot's section of the Thievius Raccoonus." Bentley nodded.
"Oh yeah, time to show the Raccoon Rail Walk." Sly smiled.
"And from how they came form the swamp, you'll be sliding on them much easier than a skater on pipes." Entrapta mentioned.
"Oh yeah, forget to give her that, Sly." Bentley reminded the young raccoon man.
"Give me what?" Catra confused.
"This." Sly revealed a smaller cane for Catra that is just like his.
"No way, my own cane!" Catra surprised smiling and took the cane in her hand.
"Yep, thought you would use a Cooper tool for your own heist and maybe one day when I retire, I'll pass this cane to you can as well." Sly explained.
"This is the best! Thank you, dad!" Catra jumped onto Sly for a happy hug which the raccoon father returns the embrace.
Sly and Catra started making their way into the swampy path to find where Mz. Ruby's hideout is, fighting off some spiders and wooden monsters while collecting clue bottles, until they stumble upon a large spiked wooden wall with a guard standing post with lantern.
"Something tells me we're closer to Mz. Ruby now." Catra said.
"Hope the guard doesn't mind letting us through." Sly grinned.
Catra went in first climbing up the wall and duck down when the guard notice something though found nothing, she decided to try out her new cane and strike the guard right on the head causing him to be stun for Sly to jump in and knock the guard out.
"I am loving this already." Catra smiled as her cane.
Sly and Catra turn around to see some tents around and saw a big skull structure with wings at the end as they took out the Binocucom to speak with Bentley and Entrapta about this.
"Hey guys, I think we found the entrance." Catra informed.
"You are correct, you're gonna need a key to open it which is on top of the tiki pedestal in the guard compound." Entrapta said.
"But there's a bad mojo force field protecting it, so you'll have to destroy all five of the purple candles surrounding it." Bentley warned.
"We got this." Sly nodded.
"Don't get cocky or you'll end up with your head shrunk to the size of a pea. You've got to get past those voodoo guards and I'm warning you, they're mean, and they work like a team." Bentley warned again.
"So do we, buddy." Sly said.
Sly and Catra start sneaking their way to the purple candles not only destroying them to take out the forcefield for the key, but also taking out the voodoo guards before they could know what's going on and found a page about Suzanne Cooper and water safety.
They went through the gate going through a path until they stumble upon a large secure looking gate.
"What do you think that industrial-strength voodoo is for, father?" Entrapta asked.
"I don't know, probably Mz. Ruby trying to keep something out." Bentley guessed.
"Or maybe something Mz. Ruby is trying to keep something in." Sly said.
"Well, whichever it is, we better go before that something shows up." Catra stated.
The two went over the wall and going onto some vines and hopping onto some branches to find their way deep into Mz. Ruby's lair, then they notice something was moving in those reefs and their thieving instincts are warning them that it's something dangerous.
Then suddenly a giant snake appeared bursting through the mouth of a giant skull.
"A GIANT SNAKE?!" Catra and Sly gasped.
"Run for it, you two!" Entrapta shouted panicking.
Catra and Sly ran for their life to get far away from the giant snake as they jump on the tree branches and riding on some roots until they reach a case with a treasure key, and the giant snake went under.
"I think it's gone." Sly hoped.
"For now." Catra said before spotted a vault. She went over there and open it to find a page that shows Sir Andrew Cooper's Thief Replica technique.
"This should definitely come in handy." Catra smirked and went back to her dad showing him the page.
The two continue sneaking through the swampy lair until they stumble upon of a skull structure like the one before, only this one is much bigger and looks meaner too, like something that came out of a horror movie.
"Oh my, father, I'm suddenly getting a huge reading from the paranormal scanner!" Entrapta alarmed.
"Yes, and it's coming from that structure." Bentley said.
"A reading like that can only be coming off from Mz. Ruby herself." Sly guessed.
"You're right, Sly. If you want a crack at Mz. Ruby, you're going to have to find a way inside that skull temple.
"Something tells me we're gonna need to find some treasure keys just to be on the safe side." Catra suggested.
And so, Catra and Sly started going around collecting all the treasure keys they can find along with facing some problems like lighting some tiki torches with a flamethrower water scouter, facing ghosts hunting a part of the swamp, and ironically helping a ghost to whack some chickens for a key.
Not only that, but they also found some more pages of the Thievius Raccoonus: Kelle McCooper's own version of the Rolling Raccoon with a shocking hit, Bruce O'Cooper's computer hacking technique which Bentley and Entrapta are please to have, and the blueprints to Mz. Ruby's entire operation that will help them very much.
"Hey dad, let's use the keys on that gate." Catra pointed at the gate.
"Okay, here goes nothing." Sly tossed the four treasure keys to open the gate.
The giant snake came out roaring and going in around the area and destroy the bone candle setting structure gate, then it went back through the gate it came out of.
"Okay, that was something." Catra surprised.
"Must be from being locked up for so long." Sly guessed.
Sly and Catra make their way to find themselves being closer to Mz. Ruby according to Entrapta keeping track of their movements until they stop to see another weird mystical structure.
"What exactly am I looking at here?" Catra asked.
"Looks like this is some kind of giant voodoo eggbeater to stir up that unsanitary mess." Bentley grossed out.
"Stirring trouble, not on my watch." Catra said.
"Hmm, if we can unlock the cauldron's lid, we might be able to thrash their production and build up enough steam pressure to get launched up to Ruby's skull temple." Sly stated as he looks around.
"It would appear that's the only way for you to get to her." Entrapta nodded as she did the math.
"Sounds like we got a plan. To get around that thing, try moving in the shadows made by the masks, so that the guards won't see you." Bentley advised.
Catra and Sly explore the swamp lair to search for more treasure keys while also finding some more pages of the Thievius Raccoonus like Matthew de la Cooper's Perpetual Slow Motion technique that can help them slow down time reminding Catra of B.F. Cooper's speeding time technique.
"Sheesh, the only thing scary about this swamp more than the ghost is the fact that this place stinks." Catra exclaimed while holding her nose.
"Don't worry, once we settle things with Mz. Ruby then we'll get out of here and take a long bath." Sly stated.
"And I'm definitely going to be okay with the water for that." Catra added.
Having all of the treasure keys they have collected, Sly and Catra made their way back to the voodoo eggbeater taking out the guards and unlocking the lid.
"Okay, now you two just jump onto the lid and the pressure should be enough to get you to Mz. Ruby." Bentley said.
"With a success rate of over 97% chance of getting in." Entrapta added.
"I'm guessing the other 3% percent is bad?" Catra asked.
"Yep." Entrapta answered.
"Sweet." Catra smiled.
Sly and Catra jump onto the lid with their combined weights keeping it down for the pressure to build up then launching them like a rocket as they enter through the mouth of the skull tempe.
Once inside, it didn't take long to find Mz. Ruby as she is standing close on her tail and shaking her body like a funky music is playing right now.
"Hmm, I could feel that Cooper vibe coming, a vibe that both of your give off when I sensed you very near me. Two together is more distasteful bad juju than one." Mz. Ruby glared at Catra and Sly.
"Well, you give us the creeps too, lady." Sly mocked.
"Bet you've been getting lots of complaints from your neighbor because of you ghostly armies." Catra said.
"Haha, I see your mouths are moving, but all I hear is blah, blah, blah. Well, if jaws need to flap, then let then flap. See you two in the next world." Mz. Ruby laughed and she hops away.
The two Coopers give chase to the alligator woman as she now find herself concern though she has her chicken guards on standby.
"Did you really think running away would save you?" Catra asked.
"Quite true, kitty girl, quite true. Why don't I have my servants Chumley escort you two over here." Mz. Ruby smirked.
"Alright, what's the catch?" Sly asked.
"Oh, not much, just a little game I like to play with all my annoying guests. I want to see how well you pay attention." Mz. Ruby hinted.
"What, like a voodoo Simon Says?" Catra asked.
"Something like that. I'll unleash my mighty mojo magic upon you, if you repeat what I do, you'll dodge it just fine. If not, you'll get zapped!" Mz. Ruby explained.
And so, Catra and Sly went through Mz. Ruby's voodoo challenge that has proven to be mor difficult than they thought, most nearly almost got them though the two Coopers keep on dodging the mojo magic attacks while also changing stages whenever they get near her.
"Looks like we're at the last stage." Sly smirked.
"Then let's finish this!" Carta cheered.
Catra and Sly made their way through the last round dodging the mojo magic blasts and when they got close to Mz. Ruby, then jump together and knock her down.
"You two got your rhythms tight, a bond beyond blood." Mz. Ruby commented.
"Guess you could say it was our destiny to defeat you." Catra smirked.
"Perhaps… But it won't help you none if you're fixing to go after the Panda King, he's tough with a capital T. If you go poking around his stronghold in China, you're likely to get poke back." Mz. Ruby warned before getting whacked by Catra.
"She was done." Catra shrugged.
"Then our work here is done." Sly said.
They found the vault to get another session of the Thievius Raccoonus.
Catra: I'll admit, it was fun playing Simon Says with Mz. Ruby when the prize is another page of the thieving family's book.
Catra and Sly look at the picture of Slytunkhamen Cooper in the Egyptian clothing.
Sly: Yep, and this one is about the pioneering ancestor Slytunkhamen Cooper, his invisibility technique allowed him to steal from corrupt pharaohs and greedy noblemen.
The scene shows Carmelita Fox arriving at the scene with Mz. Ruby being taken away by the other cops along with her lackies, and the fox woman holding a Cooper card.
Sly: Right on schedule, Inspector Fox's arrival cue our exit.
Catra: Who would have thought that her dark mojo stuff is really illegal in the world peace treaty, now we won't be seeing that gator any time soon meaning the swamp will be less creepy from now on.
The scene shows the Cooper Gang are at the beach area with Entrapta and Bentley using math to build their sandcastle, Murray and Scorpia jumping into the water while Sly is fishing and Catra is swinging on a vine.
Sly: We got to enjoy the tropical vacation for a few weeks before our next heist.

The Swamp and Mz. Ruby was really spooky with all the mojo stuff such as ghosts and zombies, but the Cooper Gang were able to push through all that scary stuff shut down her dark magic show.
