Preparing for the Big Final Heist
Sly, Catra, Bentley, Entrapta, Murray, and Scorpia are sitting together at the center of their hideout each having a serious look on their faces, save for Scorpia is just humming a cheerful tone to keep the mood from getting all negative.
"So, just to make sure we all know this. Four of members of the Fiendish Five has been defeated as we recovered the pages of the Thievius Raccoonus." Bentley reported.
"Raleigh got crooked." Murray raised his hand.
"Muggshot won't be shooting anything down for a long while." Scorpia smiled.
"Mz. Ruby has been put away, no more curse from her." Entrapta added.
"And just recently, the Panda King has turned himself and there will be no more explosions in snowy mountains from now on." Catra grinned.
"Which only leaves one more member to deal with and this will all be over." Sly twirled his cane and smack down on the floor with a picture and one word on it.
"Clockwerk, the final remembers and leader of the Fiendish Five." Sly glared at the picture.
"If he's the big boss then that means he must be tougher than the other guys we've fought so far." Scorpia gulped, feeling a bit scared.
"You could be right, who knows what this guy has in store for us when we reach his hideout, and he seems to have it out for my family the most." Sly said.
"But doesn't the Cooper clan already have lots of enemies in the past and you guys?" Catra asked.
"We do, we made a lot of people unhappy with our awesome ways." Sly bragged with a smirk.
"But something tells me this one is different, something felt more personal about this guy, but I don't know why." Sly confused at himself too.
"If you're feeling unease about this guy then we'll need to be extra cautious, and that means we'll need to get ourselves ready for the fated battle." Bentley stated.
"Then I believe it's time we try out Otto van Cooper's mechanic ways to upgrade the Cooper Van with weapons and defense systems." Entrapta suggested.
"I believe you are right." Bentley nodded.
"Alright! I'm excited to see how the van will look with a giant laser gun!" Murray excited, already imagining his awesome van with some special features like the laser gun.
"Oh, maybe we can make the tires really big like the ones the monster trucks have and maybe add some spikes to help it climb up on rocky walls of the mountain, and a mini fridge with a microwave!" Scorpia suggested her idea for the new features for the van.
"Those ideas sound awesome! Can we do them?" Murray asked the two brains as he and Scorpia pull up exciting grins.
"Huh, maybe…" Bentley weirded out a bit from those requests.
"That is going to be difficult to fill in those orders and we may not have the time yet considered we have to be in a hurry to reach the final boss." Entrapta stated.
"Well, looks like everyone is starting up their preparations for the final battle." Sly chuckled.
"So, do you wanna practice more on our family moves while we wait for the van to be armed?" Sly asked his adopted daughter.
"Actually, I was hoping that I can have a day off from thief training for a while." Catra said.
Sly raise an eyebrow as he wonders in his mind of what Catra could possibly want to do than doing thief stuff with him, Catra looks a bit nervous of the request he's about to ask his dad.
(With Carmelita and Adora)
Carmelita is cooking up lunch for herself and Adora who just finish setting up the table then look over to the TV showing her favorite cartoon show.
"You know, I may not be the girly kind, but I sure love to watch the girly show that kicks bad guys' butt! Like Totally Spies!" Adora smiled as she walks in the living room a bit.
"Personally, I like Jackie-Chimp Chan Adventure better with lots of fighting and other awesome stuff like Jade." Catra bragged.
"Yeah, I guess that show is cool along with the world traveling and" But Adora stopped her sentence upon realizing that it was not her aunt Carmelita's voice as she is still in the kitchen.
Adora slowly turns her head to see Catra sitting on the couch and leaning onto her side before looking back at Adora with a grin.
"Hey, Adora." Catra greeted, and Adora jumped in shock causing her to fall.
"Adora, is everything okay over there?" Carmelita asked as she heard the thump.
"If you call having a thief in the house "okay" then yes." Adora answered sarcastically.
"What?" Carmelita gasped as she hurried into the living room and sees Catra on the couch as she gave her a wave.
"Hi mom, you had a good morning too?" Catra greeted.
"Catra? What are you doing here, and is that ringtail here too?" Carmelita asked as she looks around fiercely.
"Glad to know you've been thinking of me too, foxy." Sly flirted, revealing to be leaning on the wall close to the kitchen and eating a banana.
"Sly Cooper!" Carmelita snapped aiming her shock pistol at him, only to realize that she is actually holding her spatula.
"Oh, thinking of flipping me over to the law?" Sly joked.
"Maybe I will if you don't be flatten!" Carmelita readied herself to fight with the spatula.
Catra is getting a little worried that a fight was about to burst out until Adora suddenly steps in front of her.
"Wait, Aunt Carmelita! I don't think you have to do anything to them since they did help get you some evidence to arrest the Panda King and taking down those other bad guys." Adora pointed out.
"Besides, I think they earned more than a chance since then." Adora added.
"She's right, you did let us go to take down the Panda King and saw you didn't even bother looking for us back up on the mountain." Sly nodded.
As much as Carmelita wanted to arrest the biggest thief in the world right now to finally put his thieving nonsense away, she couldn't bring herself to do it since she did saw how they actually helped her in that case, and she didn't want to make Catra an orphan so suddenly right now.
"Alright, what is it that you want?" Carmelita asked sighing.
"Well, it's more about what Catra wants. Mind if we talk outside?" Sly pointed outside on the fire escape balcony.
Carmelita went outside with Sly to talk with him while Adora and Catra are left alone together.
"So, little police girl is into spying, huh?" Catra asked with a teasing smirk.
"Hey! I'm only into it because of how they're doing it by the governments approval and the gadgets they have are appropriate to suit their needs for every mission and style." Adora bragged with a proud smile.
"In other words, you want to be a bratty spy who winces about who icky a villain's lair is." Catra joked.
"I don't wince like that!" Adora yelled.
"Yeah, yeah, but I still think the other show I mentioned is better." Catra laughed a bit.
Meanwhile, Sly is looking at the girls through the window from the outside.
"Those two seems to be getting along already." Sly chuckled.
"Okay, so you're here why?" Carmelita asked.
"Well, the gang and I are getting ourselves ready to take on the final member of the Fiendish Five soon." Sly informed.
"The final member, you mean Clockwerk?" Carmelita asked shock.
"That's right, we're finally going to put an end to the nightmare that have brought shame to the Cooper Clan and restore our family's book." Sly nodded.
"And you're going to bring Catra there too? Are you out of your mind?!" Carmelita asked yelling.
"Easy there, you don't think I'm not worried about her going into battle with me?" Sly stated that he is worried.
"But that little girl has already proven herself to be brave and knows how to handle difficult things, also know when to back off too." Sly said looking at his cane.
"Not to mention that Catra is a Cooper, so this is something she needs to do too and witness our family's name being avenge." Sly believed strongly.
"You really have that much fate in her, do you?" Carmelita asked surprise to hear ringtail caring so much for a little girl who hasn't been with him for that long.
"I do, and I know you do too when you let us go back in the mountains." Sly stated.
"You also been letting Adora tag along on your adventures too." Sly pointed out.
"Well, it's not like I could find a babysitter at the last second when I'm being informed about where a certain thief is going." Carmelita sighed.
"But… I also saw how she admire me and love the police work; she also cares for safety of others. Kind of reminds me of myself a bit." Carmelita giggled.
"So, would it be okay for Catra to spend the day with you and Adora?" Sly asked making Carmelita surprise.
"Catra also admires you for being a strong type of woman and awesome in action, she wants to get to know that woman more and tease Adora some too." Sly explained Catra's reason.
"A little thief looking up to a policewoman? That's just crazy." Carmelita chuckled.
"Crazy for a guy like me falling in love for a girl like you?" Sly teased a bit making Carmelita blush.
"Okay, now you're just playing with me." Carmelita raised an eyebrow at Sly.
"Maybe I am, but even I know better than to play with a woman's feelings." Sly stated.
"So, I'm gonna be out doing some errands for the gang and you will have a daughter to spent time with. Pretty good deal if you ask me." Sly said.
Carmelita knew that Sly was reeling him to watch over his daughter, who is now apparently her daughter too from how Catra keeps calling her mom that makes her feel good for some reason, so she decided to do it before she makes herself feel crazy of making a deal with a thief.
"Alright, you win. I'll watch over Catra." Carmelita agreed.
"Great, then you won't mind having her over for dinner and for the night too!" Sly smiled as he jumps on the fence.
"She really wants to spend time with me that much?" Carmelita chuckled.
"Well, we both have good taste in women." Sly winked.
"Alright, but just promise me that you will protect Catra from any danger until she is able to do so on her own when she gets older." Carmelita hoped.
"Looks like you and I are more alike than I thought." Sly smiled.
Before Carmelita could respond to that remark, Sly moved a little faster than she could react planting a kiss on her cheek and very close to her lips causing the fox woman to flinch in shock and her cheeks blushing hard.
"Now I have to go find some monster truck tires. Bye!" Sly jumped off and climb onto a pipe for the rooftop.
"You better not be thinking of stealing them!" Carmelita shouted while the racoon man runs on rooftops. She let out a sigh knowing that he's going to do some stealing.
"Okay, Carmelita Fox, you can do this. It's like looking after Adora, she's been like a daughter to me too. And I'm sure Catra would be no different." Carmelita talked to herself for some confident.
Carmelita walked back inside and saw that Catra and Adora finishing up the cook for lunch.
"Hey Aunt Carmelita, me and Catra have just finished the making of lunch. Don't worry, we've been extra careful while you had the stove off for safety reasons." Adora reported.
"I also added some croissant that me and dad got on the way here." Catra pointed at the basket of croissants on the table.
"Before you ask, I already checked with her and… Yes, they're stolen ones." Adora sighed reporting that part too as Catra shrugs.
"Alright, guess there's no choice but to just enjoy lunch now." Carmelita sighed and everyone sat down eating together.
"So, Catra, what do you want to do today with us?" Carmelita asked.
"Other than stealing stuff." Adora added that to the question.
"Well, I was thinking we could hang out around the city and maybe visit the Eiffel Tower to see what the top is like." Catra answered.
"You haven't gone there yet?" Carmelita asked surprise.
"We were doing some other fun stuff and taking down an evil organization also pushes the thoughts to the side." Catra said before eating her sandwich.
"I also want to see if you have a cool car than your fellow police officers!" Catra smiled widely.
"Of course, it's the cool stuff you're into." Adora rolled her eyes, though smile as she looks at her aunt who also smiles.
"You wanna see a cool car?" Carmelita smirked.
(After Lunch)
"Then here's a cool car!" Carmelita gestured her hand to her car which is a cool and smooth black car.
"Wow!" Catra amazed.
"You can imagine the joy rides we have on this baby when go out!" Adora smirked.
"But we also had to stop a few times when Adora here wanted to pretend that she is the one driving." Carmelita mentioned for the tease causing her niece to blush.
"Don't worry, dad does that to me too whenever I wanted to feel driving too." Catra said with a small smile and patted Adora on the shoulder, feeling a kinder spirit in this.
"Come on, I was thinking of going out on patrol anyway." Carmelita twirled her keys around on her finger.
"Yeah!" Catra and Adora cheered at the same time.
Adora just realize that she was cheering for someone who was still a little bit of a stranger to her and also lied to her back at the school, it would take some time for her to let Catra earn her trust though she at least knows that Catra isn't exactly a criminal to hate.
Adora and Catra got on the front seat next to the driver seat, Carmelita starts the car and drove out of the parking lot.
Catra roll down the window for her to stick her head out the window as she was curious about how dogs feel about doing this, but Adora quickly pulls her back down for safety reason though she did allow them to look out and feel the wind.
Then a speeding car drove rushing in from another street that almost hit Carmelita's car.
"A speeding punk, huh? Hang tight, girls. We're going on a car chase trip." Carmelita smirked and pushed down the pedal down and rush after the car.
Catra and Adora hang onto each other feeling the rush through the car as Carmelita goes after the speedy punk, making some sharp turns and dodging some cars too. She took out her pistol and roll down the window of her car.
"Mom, be careful!" Catra concerned.
"Don't worry, this isn't my first car chase!" Carmelita smirked as she leans out of the window and aimed her pistol at the car.
She waited for the right moment with her aim at the moving car, and then her instinct kicked in shooting a bullet at the two tires on the right side causing the car to lose its speed and crash into a wall.
Immediately, Carmelita took the punk out of the car and slams him down with cuffing his hands together.
"That was so cool!" Catra amazed.
"I always love how Aunt Carmelita does what she does best!" Adora smiled.
"After I drop off this punk, let's make our way to the tower." Carmelita smiled.
The scene changes to Carmelita and the two little girls watching the very high and beautiful view from the top of the tower as the sky slowly change with the sun setting.
(Cooper Hideout)
Murray is seen hammering down a big hunk of metal slowly shaping into the emblem of the Cooper clan with Scorpia placing the holders for the metal that will become the battering ram while Bentley and Entrapta holding some parts in place to work on the turrets.
Sly Cooper is looking up at the sky with a strong look of determination and clutching onto both his family's cane and book.

Everyone is doing their own preparations for the final battle against the big boss of the Fiendish Five, and Catra has decided to use her free time to be with Carmelita Fox and Adora Fox making their family bond stronger.
