Chapter 137 24/7

R-Truth was running through the streets holding the title as many guys chased him.

"Get him!" One said.

At Le Grand Paris Andre the mayor was having a meeting with some reporters.

"Now it's been good that you all came, since we have some big surprises coming for the hotel." He said.

But then Truth came in and many of the wrestlers came surprising them.

"Oh my!" He said. "What is this?!"

"Sorry mayor, but I had to run!" Truth said.

They went around and Andre falls back as he lands on Truth.

A ref came and counted. "1, 2, 3! New champ!"

"What?" Andre said as he was given the 24/7 championship. "Oh a prize." He smiles.

He then saw the other wrestlers looking at him and he got scared. "You can't attack me! I'm the mayor."

"Actually, once you have the title, they can do whatever they want." The ref warned him.

Andre got scared and runs away as they chased after him, he goes inside the elevator and closes the door as they banged against it.

"He must be going down!" One said as they went downstairs.

Andre comes out of the elevator as he runs to the entrance, the wrestlers came out of the stairs and chased him.

He goes inside his limo. "Drive!" The driver does that as they went away.

Andre takes a deep breath and relaxes.

"Honestly, why would they want it so bad?" Andre looks at the belt.

"Many want to be a champion sir." The driver said.

"Well I can't let those barbarians harm me." He said.

The car stopped at a traffic sign and they waited, but then the wrestlers came and started to bang on the limo scaring Andre.

"Let me in! Let me in!" Some said.

It changes to green and they went faster as the wrestlers chased them, the car got a flat and they stopped.

"Oh no!" Andre gets out since they would destroy his car before getting him.

He runs faster down the streets as the mob chased him, he looks back and goes through a alley.

Chloe was looking at the girls at school. "Well my daddy has been making some big changes that will make it better."

Marinette sighs. "She just comes to brag again."

Chloe laughs. "Oh please your just..." She saw her father run as the mob chased him.

"Hey your dad's the new 24/7 champion." Alix said.

"What?!" Chloe got surprised.

"They pushed me into the other one!" Andre said to his daughter as he kept running.

"Where are the police to stop them?!" Chloe yelled.

"Chloe, you do know they've been running around for days doing that, so they stopped even bothering." Alya said.

Chloe gasped and stomps her foot. "Why those no good slackers!"

Andre kept running as they kept chasing him, he goes towards city hall and enters the main door before closing it with his key.

They started to bang against the door.

"Oh that was close." He then goes to his office. "Maybe I should get a glass cabinet for this." He looks at the belt.

He tested it out. "It's real gold? Huh, I didn't know Eric was able to do that."

Andre enters his office and looks around just to be sure and goes to sit on his chair relaxing a bit.

"Now this is one place where I know i'm safe." He said.

He looks around and theres a silence, he then noticed a book out of place. "I asked to straighten the place." He goes towards it.

Behind a curtain R-Truth comes out sneaking foward, Andre takes the book.

"Oh it's that book i've been trying to read." Andre opens it. "Ah yes, chapter four."

R-Truth grins as he comes towards him.

"The best way to die? Hmmm, a little dark but what is it?" Andre said.

"The unexpected!" Truth rolls him up.

A ref came to count. "1, 2, 3! New champ!"

Truth takes the belt back. "I got my baby back!"

"What?! How did you get here?!" Andre said.

"I knew you would come here so I took a shortcut. Now you got your book and I have my baby back!" Truth climbs down a window to get out.

Andre sits there as the referee goes out. "He really is good."

Truth goes to his bike and rides off. "Ha, can't catch me!"

Jin was nearby and watches him. "So he went so far as to pin the mayor himself. That's dedication for someone to get that belt."

Jin walks away and Anya came with her dog Bond.

"Anya be careful." He said.

"Okay." She said.

Anya then saw Truth. "He's funny."

"Yeah he is." Jin said.

He was also grateful theres no big supervillain appearing since the mayor wasn't that bad losing the belt as they are always taking it from each other.

"But I gotta keep a close eye on Truth and who else he will make mad just in case." Jin said.

He goes foward with Anya and Bond following him, he likes to spend time with Anya since she likes to be with him.

Note: Heres a different kind of chapter where Truth got try and steel the belt from the Mayor as he runs for the mob, it's more comedic as it's more slice of life over the same formula of having a bad guy appearing.
