Cooper Thief Family Avenging Themselves!
Catra and Sly started to wake up after the toxic sleeping gas much to Adora and Carmelita's relief to see them still alive, this made the fox woman realize that she does care about them more than she realizes, especially to a little girl thief.
"What happened?" Catra asked.
"The metal owl guy turned on the trap that would have melted your brains if the gas hadn't stop just now, I think it was the rest of your gang." Adora explained.
"Glad to know they always have our backs." Catra smiled as she stands up, though wobbles a bit that she almost fell, but Sly caught her.
"Sly, you really proved me wrong about you being a criminal and I see you're more than just a thief and truly cared for others like with Catra." Carmelita admitted with a smile as she looks at Catra.
"Best apologizes I've ever heard." Sly smiled.
"We still need to deal with Clockwerk fast or else he'll do more than creep people out during the night." Catra pointed out.
"We have something that can help you two gain the air advantage to level the playing field, just bust us out and we'll help." Adora offered.
"Bet it's weird helping criminals, huh?" Catra asked.
"My Auntie Carmelita says you're not criminals, so I have no reason to not trust you." Adora smiled and gave Catra a thumbs up.
Catra nods before reeling back her cane while Sly does the same and they both smash onto the glass of the vest trap, freeing the two female foxes and they ran through the door with the thieves quickly following them.
"I think you're finally warming up to her." Catra commented, making Sly smile.
The four allies meet up outside of the trap and onto a long wooden platform as Carmelita spoke to Sly as she wanted to get something off her chest.
"Sly, over the years I have hunted you down and try to throw you away in prison, but whenever I find myself trapped by one of the dangerous villains, you always come to rescue me even when most of them were traps for you." Carmelita mentioned them.
"Sounds like romance." Catra joked, but Adora shush her.
"But after all of that, you never turned your back on me and even helped me take down the criminals. I just wanna know why." Carmelita said.
"Carmelita, we may be on opposite sides of the law, but you're not my enemy nor did I ever think less of you. I always thought we need strong willed people like you around to help those in need." Sly expressed as he walked a little closer to her.
"Now, the homicidal robotic owl that built this death ray and nearly gassed us to death, that guy is on my list." Sly added.
"I see your point, never thought this would happen to me on my career but… it looks like we're gonna be working together to stop Clockwerk." Carmelita declared.
"Just Clockwerk?" Catra asked.
"Well, maybe we can also do some more working together, but I'm only doing this just so Catra doesn't become a ruthless criminal if you're not careful." Carmelita stated with a smile.
"And I'll be there to help every step of the way!" Adora added.
"Awesome! Now we're a family!" Catra cheered.
"Together at last!" Sly smiled.
Suddenly a little robot owl came flying in to snatch up Sly's Cooper cane, but that plan was almost foiled when Catra saw the robotic owl and quickly jumps in to smack it away only for the little robot owl to snatch up her cane away and Catra almost fell down to the lava.
"Catra!" Adora quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her up with help from the grownups.
"Damn robo-bird!" Carmelita shouted as she fired an electric shot that managed to shoot down the robotic owl, but that doesn't solve the stolen cane.
"Catra, are you okay?" Adora asked while checking on the cat girl to see if she had any bruises.
"I'm fine, but my Cooper pride has been bruised because that stupid robot just stole my cane that dad got for me!" Catra complained.
"Don't worry, we'll get it back or my name isn't Sly "Mystery" Cooper!" Sly promised.
"I didn't know "Mystery" is your middle name." Adora puzzled.
"It's not, I'm just trying to sound cool." Sly admitted without shame.
"Don't worry, I managed to shoot it down and it landed somewhere over there. In the meanwhile, I'll cover your backs while you get it back." Carmelita said.
"You should also know that Auntie Carmelita had a jetpack on her when that Clockwerk guy took us, it's on top of the Death Ray and it's powerful enough to carry to grown adults which means you two can use it." Adora informed.
"A jetpack! You had a jetpack on you this entire time and we didn't have some flying fun back in Paris?" Catra asked shock.
"It was a new model jetpack, and I was only supposed to test it out to see if there are any kinks that needed to be worked on." Carmelita explained.
"Anyway, you two should go down that path and go through those obstacles to make your way to the top where you'll find the Death Ray while Auntie Carmelita blasted away anything that tries to stop you." Adora pointed at the starting point and moved her finger to the top.
"You better still alive by then, Adora. I want to see if you can take back that trophy I took." Catra grinned.
"We'll see." Adora grinned.
Catra and Sly jump onto a line together sliding down to get started on that running for the Death Ray though there was this one robot owl that tried to get in their way, but Catra knock it down with her claws.
The two Coopers started running together for the top while Carmelita fired some shots against several robot owls that try to attack them and blasted away some obstacles to clear a path for them.
"Auntie Carmelita! Two more are coming at them from behind!" Adora alerted.
"Got it!" Carmelita nodded and turn to shoot down the robotic birds.
"One more diving toward them like a missile!" Adora gasped when she saw some robot owl coming down to crash onto the Coopers.
"Not on my watch!" Carmelita blasted that robot owl right out of the sky.
And that was the last obstacle out of the way, Sly and Catra arrived at the top on the path to the Death Ray.
"We made it!" Catra smiled.
"And there's your cane!" Sly pointed at Catra's cane. The cat girl gets very excited as she ran to grab her cane feeling very happy and twirl it around for a moment then held it high.
"Now we can settle things with Clockwerk, once and for all!" Sly nodded.
The two Coopers turn around to wave at the Fox girls before running into their destiny.
"Good luck, Ringtail." Carmelita whispered as she smiles.
Catra and Sly ran onto the ledge of the rocky structure and being careful with their balance so they don't fall off and have their last swim into the lava, and they finally arrive at the final area where Clockwerk's Death Ray is.
"Wow, that guy really likes to brag about himself being a big meanie." Catra commented.
"Let's look for the jetpack. She said it should be on top of the Death Ray." Sly said as he took out his binocucom to see the jetpack.
"There's Carmelita's jetpack right there she said it would be." Bentley pointed out.
"And it looks like the magnatronic support field for the Death Ray was destroyed during your "Running of the Coopers" for Catra's cane. Meaning the structure won't last long once the whole thing drops into the lava." Entrapta informed.
"We're on it." Sly and Catra said at the same time.
The two starts making their way to the bottom part of the Death Ray with some sliding on the wire lines, but when they arrive the place started to shake like an earthquake and sinking down into the lake of lava.
"Climb, you fools! CLIMB!" Entrapta screamed.
"It's sinking fast!" Bentley panicked.
"We know!" Catra talked back.
The two Coopers hurried upward of the Death Ray with all the tight walking and avoiding being shocked from the parts and also dodging the falling parts of the Death Ray, then there was some jumping involve with the gears turning and some climbing.
Every step and moment they went through was very close to harming them, but they were able to avoid all of them with the skin of their teeth as they reach for the top.
"We made it!" Sly cheered.
"And there's the jetpack!" Catra pointed at the jetpack.
Sly quickly puts it on and Catra jumps on the back just in time to fly away with the Death Ray fully sinking into the lava, never to be use for evil ever again.
"Wow, this jetpack looks so cool!" Catra amazed of the gadget.
"And it's easy to fly. Use those steering sticks to move the jetpack around and press those fire its rockets." Bentley instructed.
"Uncle Bentley, when we get of this, I want jetpacks!" Catra demanded.
"Sly! Catra! Behind you!" Bentley screamed because Clockwerk flew into the scene just behind the Coopers.
"Holy metal of flying horror from a dark future!" Catra gasped as she is seeing Clockwerk for the first time and she feels terrified right now.
"Ah, you must be the new little Cooper I heard so much about." Clockwerk said in a menacing robotic voice.
Clockwerk was a giant ambient-robot eagle owl made entirely of metal. He has large yellow eyes. The inside of his mouth is the same color as his eyes are. He also has three large talons on each foot, and a large brow that was constantly pulled down in anger.
"You both escaped my gas chamber and destroyed my Death Ray. Remarkable, you Coopers always find a way to beat me!" Clockwerk admitted.
"Yeah, that's how it felt when grandpa beat the lightbulbs out of you!" Catra yelled.
"Wait, Catra. I don't think he was just talking about my dad, he was all referring to all the Coopers, our ancestors!" Sly stated as he just figured out Clockwerk's terrifying secret.
"Don't be crazy dad, there's no way this guy could have live through all of those lives." Catra refused to believe this.
"But it makes sense, all those shadowy figures in the background in the old pictures of the Thievius Raccoonus." Sly pointed out, remembering those shadowy figures in the pictures of his ancestors.
"For real…! Just how old are you?" Catra asked shock.
"Perfection has no age." Clockwerk claimed.
"What? You're immortal?" Sly asked.
"Revenge is the prime ingredient in the fountain of youth. I've kept myself alive for hundreds of years with a steady diet of jealousy and hate, awaiting the day when I would finally eclipse your famiy's thieving reputation." Clockwerk explained with a death-glare at the two.
"Well, that's just perfect. What do we do now?" Catra asked, annoyed of this owl guy being a robot and immortal at the same time.
"Sly! Can you hear me?" Carmelita called through their communication.
"Mom? How did you get this number?" Catra surprised.
"No time! The missiles don't hurt him, but they seem to create holes in his armor because I tried fighting him off when captured us. Shoot into the gaps I create!" Carmelita informed.
"You heard her, dad! Let's roast that sorry excuse of a turkey!" Catra declared.
"I'm all over it!" Sly nodded.
And the air battle has begun with Sly moving the jetpack around to and dodging some purple fireballs from Clockwerk then an electric blast from Carmelita attacked Clockwerk on the spots where the gaps are which Sly quickly responded with some missiles firing.
"You will not defeat me!" Clockwerk charged at the Coopers to ram them down.
But the Coopers dodge his strike with Sly flying down to go under the evil owl man while Catra jumps high to go over the head and running onto back then jump from the tailfeather to land back onto her dad.
"Hey! We're over here, flamingo brain!" Catra insulted and spanked her butt with her cane.
"Such cocky tune, you are indeed a Cooper if you can make such words like that coming out of your mouth." Clockwerk angered and unleash some more purple fireballs.
Sly keeps on dodging those flaming balls of death and landed some more hits with the missiles on the gaps and one more knocked Clockwerk out of the air causing him to crash into the lava.
"Nice shooting, Sly! You got him!" Bentley smiled.
"Hold up, father. I don't think Clockwerk is done for good." Entrapta feared.
True to her words, Clockwerk came bursting out of the lava showing to only have a few slightly large burns and little damage on the body, but the damn robotic owl is still kicking and still has the drive into killing the Cooper Clan.
"Wow, that is one tough owl." Bentley commented.
"Please, he looks like he could be on his last wing." Catra believed that Clockwerk's defeat is at hand.
"I don't get it. You're so familiar with my family, you must have known my father had a son. If you hared the Coopers so much, why did you let me live when you stole the Thievius Raccoonus?" Sly asked, something I wanted to know for a long time ever since that night when he was eight upon knowing Clockwerk's history with his family.
"Because I wanted to show the world that without your precious book, the Cooper line was nothing." Clockwerk answered.
"Ah, well, there's where you're wrong. The Thievius Raccoonus doesn't create great thieves, it takes great thieves to create the Thievius Raccoonus!" Sly smirked proudly.
"Yeah, you tell him, dad! Only a true thief would rely on the mind and body to work with the soul, unlike a certain flying chicken!" Catra smiled and mocked Clockwerk again.
"Enough!" Clockwerk shouted in rage.
"Sly Cooper, it ends here! I'll finish you like I finished your father and your little feline daughter is next, then the Cooper line will be erased and the only master thief will be Clockwerk!" Clockwerk declard.
"Do your worse!" Catra shouted.
And so, the air battle continues on with the robotic immortal owl now firing some electric hops with the two narrowly avoiding the shocks by going through them and firing at the gaps again until Clockwerk went down to the lava again though wouldn't stay down.
"Come on, dad! Let's finish him off once and for all!" Catra said.
"Yeah, let's get this personally!" Sly nodded as they go down.
The father and daughter of the Cooper family make their way to Clockwerk by jumping and dodging the obstacles along the way, and then they finally reach the head.
"Coopers! You can never be ride of me! I am immortal! My hatred will live on forever and it will not disappear until all of the Cooper Clan disappeared forever!" Clockwerk screamed in rage, but then got smack on the head by Catra's cane.
"Shut the Hell up! You stupid bird!" Catra screamed.
Then Sly came in smacking onto the head with a few strikes, and the two Coopers started attacking the head of Clockwerk until the metal bird started to scream in pain as he could not take anymore of those fierce attacks and now sinks into the lava fully.
Sly and Catra flies away from the scene on the jetpack and managed to make it back to the platform where they look down, seeing Clockwerk being consumed by the intense heat of the lava and defeated for good.
"Dad, did we really do it?" Catra asked.
"Yeah, I believe we did. Clockwerk is defeated and our ancestors can now rest in peace knowing the greatest enemy of our Clan has been put down." Sly nodded, almost letting out a single tear come out of this very strong moment.
"YEAH!" Catra jumped high and cheered for her life, the big bad bird guy who tormented her dad's family for countless centuries has finally been put to an end and her dad won't have to worry about him ever again.
"I love you, dad!" Catra hugged Sly.
"I love you too, Catra Cooper." Sly returned the embrace and the two shared a touching moment over the pool of lava.

Clockwerk has finally been defeated by the hands of the two Cooper thieves combining the strength of their bonds to destroy him, and next chapter is going to wrap up the entire first game of Sly Cooper with everyone about to throw a big celebration for the victory!
