Chapter 172 Weredad
I don't own Kamen Rider Ryuki or Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug Cat Noir.
In the middle of the night Jin was sleeping in bed, he was trying to get some rest after a long night.
He then has a dream and it was Lilina as she smiles with a kind look on her face.
"Hey Jin, hope your ready, since this is going to be the best day of our lives." She said.
He holds her as she kisses him.
Jin's eyes opened right away as he gasped.
"Why do I dream of that?"
He then saw Anya on his bed as she was sleeping, he smiles, he couldn't go out in hero work because of her but it was something he can let it happen.
The ground shake surprising him and he looks outside a window to see Gigantitan run.
"Cake!" He was going towards the shop.
"How didn't I notice this? I must have been really tired." he said.
He wanted to go but then something crashed against top of the building being a fake giant donut with Ladybug's pattern.
"Marinette." he got worried.
Anya woke up still sleepy. "Is it the end of the world? Did a bomb?"
"Marinette!" They heard Tom.
Jin goes outside and saw Tom run towards Marinette's room trying to open it.
"The donut must have made the ceiling break." Jin got worried.
Anya goes out slowly as Sabine came to see her.
"Anya." She checks on her. "Are you okay?"
"She's just sleepy." Jin said.
"Miraculous Ladybug!" Jin heard Ladybug outside as it seems the miraculous fixed the damage letting Tom go inside.
Yor came out. "Jin what's going on?!"
Tom checks Marinette's bed. "Marinette." He pulls the cover revealing a pillow trying to be her as he gasp.
Sabine came with Anya. "Tom!"
He turns around holding it. "Marinette is not in her bedroom!"
She gasped hearing that.
"Is she on the roof?" Jin heard that.
"It's the only place." Yor said.
Tom goes to open the trapdoor and they saw Marinette hugging Cat Noir while he was holding August.
"Cake!" August waves.
"What the?" Jin saw that too.
Marinette and Cat Noir look at each other. Marinette releases Cat Noirand his ring starts beeping.
"Oh! Well, perfect timing! I have to go and take him back to his mother." Cat Noir said.
"Wait!" Tom puts his hand on Cat Noir's shoulder. "Why don't you come have Sunday brunch with us tomorrow?"
The others came too and Yor gasped seeing it.
"Huh..." Anya blinks while still sleepy. "Marinette likes Cat Noir?"
Cat Noir looks at Marinette who shaking but she noticed him and nods nervously.
"I'll make macaroons?" Tom said.
"How could I say no to that? Well, see you tomorrow then!" Cat Noir goes off.
"This will be something." Jin said.
"Uh, it's best I take Anya to bed." Yor grabs Anya taking her back down.
"Yeah, i'm going to sleep too." Jin heads back down.
He wonders how this will end.
"I thougth she likes Adrien, was it a mistake or is she moving on? Doubt it but it's an option." Jin said.
He goes back to bed since this is going to be a akward day.
Next day
Jin sees Tom set the table up for brunch for everyone and a extra seat for Cat Noir.
"This is going to be a strange brunch." Jin said.
Yor came ready, "Well i'm ready."
"Where's Anya?" He asked.
"Oh she went to get Bond ready." Yor said.
They saw her wearing a dress as Bond was wearing a bowtie.
"How are we?" She smiles.
"You didn't need to do the tie." Jin sweatdrops.
Sabine came. "Oh your cute Anya."
Anya smiles. "Yeah."
"Is Cat Noir really coming?" Yor said.
Then Anya looks outside a window and points, Jin looks and saw Cat Noir land outside the entrance holding a flower.
"Seriously?" He said.
They heard to doorbell.
"Marinette? Marinette!" Tom calls out to her.
Jin waited and saw her come down. "You ready?"
"Uh." She didn't know what to say.
"Voila." Tom was finished.
Marinette facepalms. "This is a nightmare!"
Tom pushes her to the door. "This is a nightmare!"
Marinette opens the door to see Cat Noir. "Uh, hello, Marinette."
"Uh, hello, Cat Noi—"
Tom pushes forward hugging him. "Welcome to our home!"
"He did the same to Juleka when she came." Jin frowns.
"Tom! Let him come up for some air, huh?" Sabine told him.
"Oh sorry." He sets him down.
Cat Noir and Marinette looked at each other.
"Um, how are you?" She shakes his hand.
"Uh, fine. And you?"
Marinette's parents chuckle and look on eagerly, Marinette and Cat Noir look back awkwardly. Cat Noir puts his hand on her shoulder and moves in to kiss Marinette, but she leans back. They kiss each other's cheeks.
Anya stares at the scene since she just read they're minds.
'Hope this will do.'
'Lame.' Even at her age she knew.
"Oh, he brought a pink rose for Marinette, she loves pink! You two already know each other so well." Tom said.
"Everyone loves pink, Dad, it doesn't mean anything." Marinette takes it.
"And actually, we don't know each other that well." He said. 'I got that from my lunch.'
Anya stares at Cat Noir. 'Cheapo.'
"He's right! It all happened so fast!" Marinette said.
"Love at first sight! That's even more romantic!" Tom pushes them toward the table. "Have a seat, kids, I'll bring out the first course." Tom goes to the kitchen.
Jin and Yor sat at the table with Anya too.
"They did this with my girlfriend too." Jin said.
"Oh, good to know." Cat Noir chuckles nervously.
The two looked around before they said: "I have something to tell you…"
"Voila." Tom sets down a heart-shaped two-tiered tray filled with heart-shaped sweets. "Sweethearts' vol-au-vent. For two, of course."
Cat Noir tries it and eats it.
"Tell me, Cat Noir, is being a superhero a steady profession?" Tom asked.
Cat Noir choke and spits it out.
"Tom!" Sabine looks at him.
"What?" he got confused.
"Too soon." Jin frowns.
"Yeah." Anya nodded.
"You're right, Dad, it's gotta be super dangerous being a superhero's girlfriend. Maybe I should rethink this." Marinette said.
"Of course, not sweetie. Cat Noir won't be a superhero all his life. Once he's defeated Hawk Moth, he won't need to run on the rooftops with a stick saving people. I know! He could work in the bakery with me! I could train you, young man." Tom said.
"Uh..." Cat Noir stares.
"Maybe Cat Noir doesn't want to be a baker at all." Marinette said.
Cat Noir smiled and nodded agreeing with her.
"Ah, see? He'd love to! Everyone loves bakers." Tom mistook it.
Anya read that Cat Noir didn't want to be one. 'He doesn't want to.'
"The "Dupain-Cat Noir" Bakery. Doesn't that sound purr-fect?" Tom said.
Jin facepalms. "This is my family alright."
"I can already see the little kittens running around in the house. And pet hamsters. Do you like hamsters?" Tom said.
"Hamsters?" Cat Noir said.
Jin thinks. 'Marinette should really keep these things to her own mind instead saying it out loud.'
"Because my daughter loves them. What did you want to name your future hamster again, sweetie?" Tom said.
"Oh, I think Marinette might not have thought about it." Yor tries to calm it.
"Yes." Jin drinks a bit.
"Tom, how about we let Cat Noir tell us himself what he wants." Sabine said.
"Good idea, because he seems like the kind of boy who changes his mind rather quickly." Marinette looks at him.
"Well, actually, Mr. Dupain, Mrs. Dupain-Cheng, Jin, Yor, Anya, Marinette, here's the thing. You're really nice people and this meal is delicious and by far the friendliest I've had in a long time. Marinette, you're an awesome girl, and I get that you have feelings for me. After all, I'm awesome in so many ways, even I could fall in love with myself!" Cat Noir said getting stares from everyone.
"Cat Noir is weirdo." Anya said.
Marinette laughs at what she said as Cat Noir got embarrased.
"Anyway, I'm afraid my heart belongs to someone else. Even if she keeps rejecting me. Even if she loves somebody else. I'm in love with Ladybug." He looks at Marinette. "I'm really sorry, Marinette."
The others gasped hearing that.
Marinette smiles "Oh, this is so—" She looks at them. "So sad!" She covers her face. "Oh, to think I spent all this time following you everywhere to tell you that I loved you Cat Noir! I am so miserable! No one will ever love me! I'll end up alone and my hamster called Loneliness!" She runs to her room.
Jin frowns seeing that.
"Well, uh, I don't want to bother you any longer. I'm really sorry. Thanks for having me anyway." Cat Noir goes to leave.
"Hey Cat Noir." Jin said.
He looks at him.
"You got two minutes to get out before I kick your butt." Jin hits his palm.
Cat Noir got nervous and runs outside.
After he was out he changes back inside a alley.
"Wow, Jin was mad." Plagg said.
"I never seen him that mad." Adrien said.
"What did you expect? You broke his sister's heart." Plagg said.
"Oh right." Adrien looks down.
Jin was now in his room. "That darn stupid idiot, he still going after Ladybug despite her liking someone else, wacko." He now hates him for hurting his sister.
Then the entire ceiling got destroyed and they saw a stalk with thorns.
"Oh no, dad." Jin knew who got hit.
He goes outside and climbs up, he just hopes seeing him can make it handle better.
"I could use a rider form, but I don't want to risk anything." He said. "Plus maybe if he sees me he won't attack."
Jin climbs up and looks around. "Marinette."
He heard a roar and Weredad came out.
"No boys will harm her!" He roars.
"Dad it's me!" Jin said.
Weredad stares at him. "Jin?"
"Yes, calm down, i'm not here to attack, I just want to see Marinette!" He said.
Weredad stares at him before Cat Noir came.
"How dare you come back after what you've done?" Weredad jumps and attacks Cat Noir, who rolls away, recovers, and spins his staff in his hand.
"I will always be here to save Marinette." He deflects Weredad's punch and continues to dodge him.
Jin looks around for Marinette as Cat Noir fights Weredad. "Dad! You can't let Marinette suffer like this!"
Cat Noir grabs him from behind. "He's right! What hurts the most is solitude. Believe me, I know all about it. Nothing hurts more than isolation. Having to sit alone in front of a cold meal. Is that what you want for your daughter? A lifetime of cold meals in her prison of roses?"
Weredad looks down before throwing him off. "She will never be alone! Someday, a prince will come. A prince worthy of her, daring enough to face me! Who will brave the many dangers and pick the magic rose for her! He will be worthy of taking her from my guard!"
"The rose." Jin remembers it.
He falls inside surprising Cat Noir before Weredad fights him.
Jin takes out a deck. "Henshin!"
He transforms into Tiger and roars stabbing his axe on the roots, he then charges forward slashing many of the roots that were blocking his way.
"Gotta save her myself." He said.
He charges forward and cuts through many of the roots to get to her, he looks around.
"Where is that rose?" He said.
"Hey!" He heard Marinette.
"Marinette!" Tiger calls out.
"Who is it?" She asked.
"Tiger." He said.
"Tiger! You came to help?" She said.
"Yes, i'll look for the rose." He said.
"I'll be looking for it too." She said.
"Right." Tiger said.
Tiger goes through many of the roots as he moves around searching, his skills that he learned helped.
"By the power of the dragon, show me the rose that will lead me to the patch I chose."
His dragon marking came out and it guided him, he kept going before he found it.
"Got it." he slashes it as the akuma came out.
The stern got destroyed as everyone fell off with Tom changing back.
"Wow." Cat Noir looks.
He saw Tiger come out. "Sorry, I had to protect her."
"Oh you found it, wait where's Jin?" Cat Noir asked.
"I found him, he told me the situation." Tiger said.
"But wheres Marinette?" Tom said.
Ladybug came. "Don't worry, I got it done." She raises her yo yo. "Lucky Charm!"
She got a sailboat, Tiger then cuts the sail off as they used it as a parachute, Shinku watches from a distance.
"They have to ruin my tea time." She looks at the Akuma. "No mischief now please." She blows her petals causing it to be purified.
They landed down. "Miraculous Ladybug!" Ladybug fixes everything.
"Honey!" Sabine hugs him.
"Marinette?" Cat Noir looks.
"Wait! The miraculous ladybugs have repaired everything, so she must be safely back in her room." Ladybug swings away.
"Of course." Tiger said.
They went to the room and saw Marinette there.
"Marinette!" Tom hugs her.
"Dad, I can't breathe!" She grunted.
"Oh, sorry. I was so scared. You were so heartbroken because of that—" He glares at Cat Noir who got scared.
"Dad, stop! Cat Noir has every right to be in love with Ladybug. She's very lucky to have you. And just because you and I aren't in love with each other doesn't mean that we can't be friends." She said.
"Really? Phew! I really didn't wanna hurt you, Marinette." Cat Noir hugs her. "You seem like such an awesome person. Even though you're not a huge fan of mine, like I originally thought when I saw you on the roof."
"Seriously? That's basically the same thing!" Tiger said.
"Really?" Cat Noir looks at him.
"Fans can also be in love with the people they're following you nincompoop. Knight had the same thing." Tiger said.
"Well... Thanks Tiger." Marinette said.
He nodded before he goes out.
"You see, Tom? Your daughter is strong and can handle her own disappointments. And even if he's not in love with Marinette, Cat Noir proved himself by saving her today." Sabine said.
"It's true. Your courage and tenacity match those of the greatest pastry chefs." Tom said. "Maybe Marinette might like Tiger."
"Dad!" Marinette said.
Jin then returned back and he was glad that they were able to get it solved and he was glad his family was safe.
Note: Heres Weredad as Jin managed to stop it, he used the stuff he got to find the rose, Yor was taking care of Anya if some are wondering since she got nervous of her being hurt, Blaze-Rider-10 I have not seen that series so that's hard.
