Reyna thought the last week would have been miserable. She expected herself to mope around the house and be depressed. Instead, Nico and Hylla didn't give her a second to relax. One of them was always at her side. Whether it was playing video games, watching a movie, or going out on simple errands, someone was with Reyna.

By the end of the day, she was mentally and physically exhausted. It didn't leave her much time to think about Thalia or her suspension. There were still times when it got to her, though. Reyna had already told herself that she was going to shove it to the side and just get over it.

If one good thing came out of the suspension, it was that her and Nico had plenty of free time to talk. Reyna knew she had only brushed the surface of what was bothering her, and she wasn't sure how much deeper it went. Or if it was endless.

"Reyna!" Hazel yelled. Reyna braced herself as Hazel slammed into her and held her tightly. She turned to hug the younger woman back. "I didn't hurt you, did I?"

"No," Reyna promised. Her body felt a little better each day, and sooner or later, she would be able to do small exercises. Reyna had a lot of work to do to get back into fighting shape, but she would do it. Nothing was going to stop her. "Did I miss anything?"

"Just training and making fight preparations," Hazel responded. "You haven't eaten yet, have you? I bought you breakfast. Frank picked up the coffee."

"Thanks," Reyna said with a smile. She allowed Hazel to drag her towards the gym. Her messenger bag, one newly bought by Hylla, hung from her shoulder. She had all of her things in it along with her laptop. "Let me just drop my things off."

"Hurry up," Hazel ordered playfully. Reyna smiled wider as she made her way upstairs, taking the steps rather quickly. Before, she had been winded trying to go up the stairs too fast. Reyna felt herself getting stronger by the day. She just had to keep working towards getting back to one hundred percent.

Reyna's pace slowed as she made it closer to Lupa's office. They hadn't talked since Lupa suspended her. Octavian checked on Reyna, but Lupa had just been silent. It was like she was trying to prove how disappointed she was by ignoring Reyna. A sigh left the fighter as she squared her shoulders and stepped into the office.

Lupa was sitting at her desk with Octavian standing over her shoulder. Octavian held a pile of papers in his hands. Reyna remained silent as Lupa looked up at her. After a few moments, she said, "Morning."

"Good morning," Lupa returned. She made a motion with her hand. Octavian held the stack out to Reyna, who slowly took it. "Octavian is going to show you how we make our budget. It's a lot of numbers, and if you're confused, you will tell Octavian."

"I will," Reyna said as she nodded. Her gaze moved to Octavian. "Will I be in your office today?"

"Yeah," Octavian answered, and a small scowl came to his face. "You and Piper. In my private sanctum."

"It's an office, Octavian. Not a sanctum," Reyna teased. Octavian huffed.

"When your family is staying at your house, the only place you scream without being judged is a sanctum," Octavian muttered.

"You can always stay at my place," Lupa offered. "Even for a night."

"I should take you up on your offer," Octavian replied with a wry smile. He looked at Reyna. "And do not say a word about my music. If you or Piper say anything..."

Reyna held her hand up in defense. Octavian studied her, "Good. I'll find a chair for you. You can leave your things in there."

Reyna nodded and watched Octavian walk out of the room. Her gaze moved to the side, and she saw that Lupa was watching her. Reyna bit her bottom lip. Should she tell Lupa what Clarisse had said? Or, was it best to just leave the topic buried in the past.

"Keep in mind what I said," Lupa warned. Reyna gritted her teeth but forced herself to nod. It didn't take long for her to decide not to say a word. Anything she said would just look like an excuse now. "If you break another rule, you are out of my gym."

"Yeah," Reyna muttered. She looked down at the stack of papers in her hand and slowly looked over the budget. A glance through the papers behind it showed that the expenses looked similar month to month. Everything was labeled except for one thing at the bottom of a few statements. "What's this miscellaneous? It's five hundred dollars and comes in every month."

Lupa hesitated. Her mind seemed to be racing, and it took her a few moments to answer, "It's from an old business. I get a cut every month. I just put it aside in a savings account and hold on to it. For the right moment."

Reyna nodded. She wanted to ask what kind of business it was or what that right moment was, but she also wasn't in the mood to talk to Lupa. Getting suspended after that was bullshit to her. She understood that she punched Clarisse, Reyna wasn't going to deny that, but she also wasn't going to stand around and allow Clarisse to comment on Lupa's miscarriage.

Reyna stepped out of Lupa's office and walked towards Octavian's. She dropped her things off and made her way towards her fellow fighters. Upon making it into the room, she found the others were waiting for her. Frank was setting out the coffee, and Hazel had sandwiches. Annabeth leaned on the counter with Percy.

"Hey," Annabeth greeted with a smile. Reyna felt a small smile infect her mouth. "How's the injuries doing?"

"Better," Reyna answered. She sat in a chair and relaxed. "How have preparations been going?"

"Good," Hazel replied with a smile. She passed Reyna's sandwich to her. "We still want you to look over our plans, especially Annabeth."

"I know that grappling will be the hardest thing for me," Annabeth added. "I can't let Arachne take me down."

"It won't be the end of the world if you get trapped in her so-called web," Reyna said as she took a bite of her sandwich. Her coffee was passed to her. "Thanks. But, you won't have the same problem most fighters do when Arachne has them pinned. When I fought her, I was so impatient. I tried twisting and turning and doing anything I could to get out of her grasp."

"Arachne just kept me trapped, making sure I was mad enough or desperate enough to not think about my actions. I kept wasting energy by flailing around. I was so worried that she would trap me in a submission that I did everything to stay away from it. If you get trapped by her, you have to calm down enough to think your way out of it but also stay alert enough to avoid being trapped into a submission," Reyna advised.

Reyna took a sip of her coffee. Percy spoke up, "Why worry about escaping when Annabeth can just turn it into a submission?"

"She could, but it's a slippery slope with Arachne. She is the best technical fighter not only in the Olympic League but probably the entire world. It's not going to be an easy task," Reyna explained.

"It's worth looking into," Percy suggested. Annabeth nodded her agreement. Reyna didn't argue with the two. If she disagreed with anyone, she would just keep her mouth shut. There was no way for her to get in trouble then. "When can you start training, Reyna?"

"I'm not sure," Reyna admitted. "I'm still waiting for this stupid cast to be off."

"If you need a sparring partner," Percy offered. A small smile graced Reyna.

"That would be nice," Reyna agreed. She focused back on her food. "Is Piper here yet? The two of us are invading Octavian's sanctum."

A chuckle left Percy, and Annabeth smiled as well. Reyna leaned back in her seat as she finished her sandwich. She looked back at the papers that Lupa had given her, which caused her anger to boil slightly. Great.

Reyna put the papers down. She wasn't going to get mad. All she needed to do was go a few months without another incident. Lupa would forget her stipulation, and everything would turn out fine.

Well, Reyna hoped it would.
