Gumball keeps saying that he isn't tired, but with all the constant yawning going on lately. The cat boy was trying so hard to stay away awake, but it was so difficult. He was so tired because he was playing video games on his phone all night until three o'clock in the morning, but he didn't tell Fluttershy because he didn't want to get in trouble. Typical for a young cat boy like Gumball would do, especially what most kids would do today. Most kids these days are just desensitized by video games, television, smartphones, and social media things which was rather sad.

Perhaps Gumballs' time here in Equestria can help him with that. But for now; he desperately needed a nap after deprived of sleep he is right now. The yellow pegasus can absolutely take care of that little problem he is having right now, and Gumball tried to stay away one last time, but it was purely fruitless

"I'm... not tired!" Gumball sounded groggy. "Nope! Not tired at all."

"It's ok if you are, sweetie." Fluttershy said, sitting next to him on the couch.

"But i am not." Gumball tried to keep his eyes open. "I promise you Fluttershy, I am... wide a... a..." before he could even finish his sentence, Gumball's eyes clamped shut and he immediately fell asleep on Fluttershy's couch, as it looked like he had dropped dead from a very fatal but painless disease. Fluttershy let out a small, cute giggle from herself with her right hoof over her mouth, seeing how adorable Gumball looked when he is sleeping.

"Aww, don't worry, baby. I'll take you to bed." Fluttershy said before she picked him up gently and held him in her arms. Being held by a warm-hearted pegasus like Fluttershy was a very warm feeling for Gumball, as if she was his own living blanket to snuggle in, even if he was asleep and did not know what was happening right now. Hovering over the stairs and gently placing Gumball on her own bed, the yellow pegasus put her covers over Gumballs' body and then gave him a goodnight kiss like a loving mother would do for a child before the kid would drift off into sleep. "Sweet dreams, Gumball." she whispered to his right ear.

Hearing her front door knock when she came back downstairs to feed Angel Bunny some carrots for lunch. She answered the door and it turned out to be her good friend; Twilight Sparkle. "Hello Fluttershy." she greeted her.

"Hello Twilight." Fluttershy greeted her back. "What brings you here?"

"I was just checking to see if Gumball is fitting in Equestria yet."

"Oh yes, Gumball is doing very well. He's made a few new friends. Pip, Sunny Daze and Peachy Pie, Diamont Tiara and Silver Spoon, you name it."

"Wonderful." Twilight smiled. "Spike mentioned that he and Gumball really hit it off too, but i wanted to see if he made more friends."

"He did."

"Where is he now?"

"He's napping on my bed. Gumball kept saying he wasn't tired, but then he just fell asleep. I wanted to make sure the baby was as comfortable as possible." the yellow pegasus looked up at her room, and said: "I wonder what he is dreaming about right now."

"Hopefully something nice." Twilight wondered herself.

Snoozing on Fluttershy's bed, Gumball turned on one side of the the mattress and sighed as he was sleeping.

Gumball's dream

Weirdly, the cat boy found himself back home in Elmore. It looked like none of this Equestria thing had never happened in the first place, and he was sitting on the living room couch.

one of his favorite video games was on the TV, "Street Scrappers" and he saw a very familiar face next to him on the right. "Darwin?" He looked surprised.

"Yeah buddy?" said his adopted brother. "You look like I had a lobotomy or."

"I don't even know what that is, dude." Gumball said

"Me neither." The fish boy admitted.

"Well then why did you say that?"

"Because it sounds like a fun word to say."

"Fair enough." Gumball admitted. "But how did i get back here in Elmore from Equestria?"

"What?" Darwin looked at him in confusion. "What are you talking about, Gumball?"

"You don't remember?" the blue cat boy asked. "I got a drone from the mail and it could travel to many different worlds from our own world, and i made the drone go into a world called Equestria and... i used it to prank a lot of ponies in a town called Ponyville and mess with them because pranks are fun, and now-" he was suddenly cut short by Darwin.

"Slow down there." the fish boy gently touched his mouth with his fish fingers. "It's ok." he pulled Gumball close to him for a hug. "There's no need to go crazy. It was all just a bad dream."

"You know what?" Gumball realized as he felt Darwin unhug him. "You're right." he took a deep breath. "I just need to take my mind off of this. Maybe i ate a bad croissant or something."

"Probably." Darwin said.

"Gumball?" Nicole came down the stairs to check on her eldest child. "Is everything alright honey?"

"Yeah mom, everything is-whoa!" he exclaimed to see his mom having not just one mouth, but three more mouths where her eyes and mouth once were. "Mom, you're not looking so good. What happened to you?"

"What?" Nicole looked confused. Then she and all her mouths began laughing hysterically, making Gumball even more weirded out. "Gumball, you are so funny! HAHAHAHAHA!"

Gumballl didn't know what to make of this and looked at Darwin, who also now has three more mouths where his nose and eyes used to be, and he began laughing like Nicole is doing right now. "What the what?!" Gumball exclaimed.

"Row row row your dog gently down the stream, merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a butt." Nicole sang, and her other mouths began singing after her.

"Wha- that doesn't even rhyme." Gumball said

"Row row row row your frog gently down the stream, merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a kale." Darwin sang

Not understanding the sudden craziness of what is going on, he suddenly woke up.

End of Gumball's dream

The cat boy woke up and realized he was back in Fluttershy's room, and it was all just a dream he had witnessed. A very weird dream. But did it mean something?
