Chapter 04 Revelations of the Past, Secrets Revealed, Friendships Reforged.

As Twilight slept into the night she started hearing strange noises coming from outside her window. At first, she thought it was just the wind playing with the leaves, but it grew louder and more persistent. She sat up in bed, her heart racing as she listened closely. It sounded like rocks and trees breaking.

Her mind immediately went to the worst possible scenario: Sunset Shimmer was up to no good again. She nudged Spike, who was snoring quietly beside her. "Spike, wake up," she whispered urgently. "I think there's something happening outside."

Spike immediately woke up, his eyes widening at the commotion. Twilight jumped out of bed and rushed to the window, peering out into the night. What she saw took her breath away: a shadowy figure moving swiftly through the trees, knocking over branches and leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

Her first instinct was to wake Miko, but something held her back. He was already burdened with his own secrets; she didn't want to add to his stress. Instead, she decided to investigate herself, slipping into her shoes and tiptoeing out of the room.

Twilight and Spike quietly made their way downstairs, the noises growing louder as they approached the backyard door.

It was coming from the back in the forest behind the house. Twilight felt a strange mix of fear and excitement, she knew it was probably Sunset but she couldn't help but feel like it was something more. She took a deep breath and slowly opened the door, her eyes adjusting to the darkness outside.

The moonlight filtered through the trees, casting eerie shadows on the ground. Twilight stepped out, her eyes scanning the area for any signs of movement. The noises grew louder, and she could feel the vibrations in the earth beneath her feet.

"Come on Spike" she said, "We're going to check it out."

Spike nodded, ready to protect Twilight if necessary. They moved cautiously through the trees, sticking to the shadows. The sound grew louder, and the ground began to shake slightly.

"What could be causing this?" Twilight whispered, her heart racing as she tried to think of what kind of creature could be so powerful.

"I don't know Twilight, but we should be careful," Spike whispered, his tail wagging nervously.

They approached a clearing where the noise was most intense, and Twilight and Spike gasped at what they saw. It was Miko.

They hid behind a tree, their eyes wide with shock. Miko was in the center of the clearing, his eyes glowing with an ethereal blue as he punched and kicked the air, his movements a blur of speed and power. Trees snapped in half, rocks shot into the sky, and the ground trembled with every blow he threw.

It was clear that he was in some kind of training session, pushing his limits and honing his abilities. Twilight had never seen anything like it. The raw power he exuded was both terrifying and awe-inspiring.

With unbelievable speeds he appeared in front of a large boulder and with a cry he punched it, smashing it to pieces like it was nothing.

Twilight and Spike watched in amazement, their jaws dropping to the ground. Twilight had never seen anyone move like that, except for Rainbow Dash back in Equestria.

Miko was a blur of motion, his fists and feet striking the air with a ferocity that seemed almost inhuman. His body was a silent symphony of power and precision, each movement calculated and deliberate.

Twilight felt a mix of admiration and fear. This was a side of Miko she had never seen before, and it was clear that his secrets ran much deeper than she had ever imagined. Spike whined softly beside her, his tail tucked between his legs.

Miko's training was intense and unrelenting. He smashed through trees with his fists, sending splinters flying in every direction. His super strength was on full display as he pulverized boulders into gravel with ease. Twilight had to cover her mouth to keep from gasping out loud as she watched him.

Suddenly, a particularly large piece of a shattered boulder went flying towards the tree they were hiding behind. Twilight's eyes widened in horror as she saw it coming, but she was too slow to react. The impact was deafening, and the tree groaned under the weight before finally snapping in half. The top half came crashing down, narrowly missing them. They both stumbled out from their hiding spot, their cover destroyed.

Miko's training came to an abrupt halt as he heard the commotion. He turned and saw what happened, his eyes immediately going back to their normal green. "Oh my god, Twilight! Spike! Are you guys okay?!" he asked in concern as he ran towards them.

Twilight was shaking, her eyes wide with shock. "M-Miko...What...What are you?" She stuttered out.

He flinched at the question, his expression a mix of fear and uncertainty. "I-I... I don't know."

Was all he could say looking down at both of his hands before closing them into fists.

"Miko, what's going on?" Twilight asked, her voice shaking as she took a step back, unsure of what she had just witnessed.

He sighed, rubbing the back of his head, his eyes avoiding hers. "It's... a long story." He paused, trying to gather his thoughts. "But I guess now's as good a time as any to tell you." He took a deep breath and looked up at her.

Miko started walking back in the forest to the house. "Come on."

Twilight and Spike followed, their eyes still glued to Miko, their curiosity piqued. The house looked even more mysterious under the moonlight, with shadows playing across its surface.

As they walked back into the backyard he sat on a wooden bench, gesturing for them to sit. Twilight and Spike looked at each other, their minds racing with questions.

Miko stayed silent as they both took a seat, his eyes lost in thought. Finally, he began to speak, his voice low and serious. "It all started during freshman year. One night I was walking to the bus stop to head home after buying groceries when a couple of thugs pulled me into an alleyway and they weren't planning to mug me that's for sure." He said, his voice laced with a hint of anger and sadness.

Twilight leaned in, her eyes wide with concern. "What happened?"

"The psychos thought it would be a great idea to kill a kid for the hell of it" Miko continued making Twilight and Spike gasp in horror. "But something inside me just... snapped. And before I knew it, I had this power, this strength... I didn't even know I had." He paused, his fists clenching at the memory. "Before they knew it I sent them flying back with a punch, a single fucking punch."

Twilight's eyes searched Miko's, looking for any sign of exaggeration, but she found none. His gaze was intense, as if he was still reliving the moment. "But how did you keep it a secret all this time?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"It wasn't easy since I could barely control it at first." Miko replied, his gaze drifting off into the night. "at the time, I was afraid that I might accidentally hurt someone or worse, so I had the brilliant idea to push everyone I knew away." He said in a bittersweet tone remembering one of the hardest choices in his life.

Spike and Twilight exchanged glances, the gravity of the situation starting to sink in. They had never seen Miko like this before, so serious and vulnerable.

"So, you've been living with this...this power, all alone?" Twilight said, her voice gentle.

Miko nodded solemnly. "Yeah, I figured it was better that way. I didn't want anyone to get hurt because of me, or to get caught up in something I couldn't explain."

Then a thought came to mind "are your powers the reason why you and Rainbow Dash not on speaking terms."

Miko nodded slowly. "Yeah, I was afraid of hurting her, so I started avoiding her in school or anywhere else, I even ignored her calls and texts. Having enough of it, when she got the chance, she confronted me about it and that's when things went bad."

Twilight's eyes widened even further. "What happened?"

Miko leaned back on the bench "I looked at her coldly as she tried to make me explain why I've been avoiding her, ignoring her, afraid to risk my secret. I told her it was none of her business and to back off."

Twilight's eyes widened even further, understanding the gravity of the situation. "And she didn't just let it go did she?"

Miko shook his head, a hollow smile playing on his lips. "No, she didn't. Dash is stubborn. She said she knew something was wrong, and she wasn't going to give up on our friendship just because I was being an idiot." He sighed heavily. "But the more she pushed, the more I pushed her away. I didn't know how to tell her the truth without endangering her."

"So I said words I could never take back." Miko's voice was barely a whisper now, the pain of the memory etched clearly on his face. Twilight felt a pang of guilt in her heart for pushing the issue, but she knew she had to understand.

"What did you say to her?" Twilight's voice was soft, sympathetic.

Miko's expression grew pained as he recalled the harsh words that had tarnished their friendship. "I looked at her coldly and told her that she meant nothing to me, that I didn't need her or anybody." His voice cracked a little, and he took a moment to compose himself. "It was the only way I knew to keep her safe. I didn't want her to get hurt because of me."

Twilight reached out and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, feeling the tension in his body. "Miko, you can't protect everyone by pushing them away."

He looked at her, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Don't you think i know that Twilight. But back then, I was scared, i didn't know what to do. I didn't know what I was or what this power meant."

Spike looked up at Miko, his eyes full of understanding. "You didn't want to hurt her."

Miko smiled sadly as he gently patted Spike's head. "Yeah, I didn't want to hurt anyone. And so, I've been living like this, keeping to myself, hiding what I can do."

He sighed. "And eventually, I kept my social interaction to a minimum and only when needed, l soon learned to stay in the shadows, disappear in the blink of an eye, A Phantom." Miko said, revealing why he was called the Phantom of CHS.

Twilight could see the weight of his secrets in his eyes, the burden he had been carrying for so long. "Does anyone else know about your powers?" She finally asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Miko nodded, smiling fondly "yeah, at the start of junior year I still had little control on my powers, one Saturday after buying another issue of my favorite comic I wasn't exactly looking where I was going when I left my usual bookstore and that's when I bumped into her." He said thinking about a special someone.

Twilight tilted her head in curiosity. "Her?"

"My girlfriend." He simply said.

The words hung in the air, and Twilight felt a jolt of surprise. She had never seen Miko with anyone, much less heard him mention a girlfriend. "You have a girlfriend?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

He nodded. "Her family knows too, hell her older brother helped me try to gain better control while she helped me discover I had more than just enhanced strength" Miko explained further.

"If that's the case how come I didn't see her in Canterlot High?" Twilight asked in curiosity.

Miko gave a nervous grin "Because she goes to another school and as much as I want you to meet her, she's with her family on vacation right now" he said with a shrug trying to lighten the mood.

Twilight and Spike nodded taking in the information. They had so many questions, but they knew now wasn't the time to ask.

Then Twilight remembered Miko's conversation with Applejack back at the School. "I'm guessing that Applejack also knows?" She asked, looking at Miko expectantly.

Miko nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, she does. Big Mac and Applebloom knows too, two months ago they were delivering the crate of Apple Ciders I ordered and one thing led to another and after an explanation they chose to keep it secret."

Twilight's eyes narrowed in thought. "But why tell us now?"

Miko rolled his eyes "well I couldn't exactly keep it secret after you both saw me training" he said rhetorically as he got up from the bench, brushing off some dust from his pants. "And besides, I think I've been a good enough friend to warrant some trust."

Twilight nodded slowly, her mind racing with the implications of what she had just learned. "You're right, Miko. We're your friends. You can trust us."

"Okay there are a few people I'm willing to tell but not everyone, because if word gets out?" He groaned just thinking about it "the government would be all over my front yard " he said as he pinched the bridge of his nose at the thought.

Twilight nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "We won't tell anyone, I promise."

Miko smiled in appreciation before he remembered one more thing "you know before you guys appeared out of the statue today I had been having dreams for the past two days." He said with a concerned look.

Twilight and Spike's ears perked up. "What kind of dreams?" Twilight asked.

"When I go to sleep, I would wake up in a white void it wasn't scary or anything the void made me feel calm and everytime it would appear"

Miko looked at Spike with a mix of confusion and wariness. "What do you mean by 'it'?" Spike's question had caught him off guard, and he wasn't quite sure how to answer.

"A Giant of Light," was all Miko said, his voice barely above a whisper. Twilight and Spike exchanged puzzled glances. "It was like a forty foot tall giant humanoid like being, but it was made of pure light. at first he always tried to reach out to me and after that I would immediately woke up"

Twilight's curiosity was piqued. "That's... unusual, to say the least." She said, trying to keep her voice calm. "Do you think it's connected to your powers?"

He nodded "I think so, yeah, considering I had another dream before the day you and Spike arrived"

Twilight leaned forward "And what happened in that dream?" She asked with a frown.

Noticing her frown he calmed her down saying "Don't worry, I think the Giant is a benevolent being since the presence it gave of was peaceful, kind, and warm" Miko said remembering his second dream, "in the second dream he started speaking to me"

"What did he say?" Spike's voice was filled with anticipation.

Miko breathed "he said I was meant to be something more and that I must embrace my destiny." He started, as he remembered the Giant's words from his dream. "He said I must reignite the fires of my beliefs and only then would I realize my destiny."

Twilight's eyes widened with a mix of awe and concern. "That's a pretty intense message for a dream"

Miko took a deep breath "to tell you the truth I have two beliefs, ones I always took to heart"

"And what is that?" Twilight asked, leaning closer to him.

Miko smiled "the first" he started "is the Light of Hope."

Twilight and Spike stared at Miko, their eyes wide with wonder. "The Light of Hope?" they asked in unison, their curiosity piqued.

He nodded "it's about giving hope to others, reaching out to those who have taken a dark path or those who have fallen to despair, never giving up, to keep reaching out your hand until they take it, to walk towards a brighter tomorrow."

"And the second?" Twilight asked, her eyes sparkling with interest.

Miko Smiled looking into her purple eyes. "You, Spike, and your friends back in Equestria know this one" he said with a chuckle, "The Magic of Friendship,"

"The Magic of Friendship?" Twilight's eyes widened in shock.

Miko nodded, his smile growing "You see, Twilight, I may not be from Equestria, but I believe that The Magic of Friendship doesn't just exist in your world but possibly in the entire universe,"

Twilight and Spike looked at each other, their minds racing with the implications of what Miko had just said. "Miko, do you think that's what the giant was referring to?" Twilight questioned, her voice filled with hope.

"That I need to start believing again?" He said "Maybe,"

Twilight nodded, her mind racing with possibilities. "Could it be that your powers are somehow connected to the Elements of Harmony?" She suggested, her voice filled with excitement.

Miko shook his head "I don't think so, after all I know for a fact that my powers aren't magic,"

"But they're not exactly normal either," Twilight pointed out.

"I know, but maybe, potentially they have similar properties" he speculated, "But I've never felt any connection to any element" He said with a shrug.

"Maybe it's something else," Spike suggested, his mind racing with the possibilities.

Miko cocked his head to the side, considering his words. "What do you mean?"

Twilight was the one continued for Spike, her eyes shining with excitement. "What if the Light of Hope isn't an element, but rather a force of its own? Something that complements the Elements of Harmony?"

Miko stared at her, his mind racing with the possibilities. "I... I never thought of it that way," he murmured.

The three of them sat in silence for a moment, the night air cool and still around them.

Before Spike gave a big yawn, breaking the tension. "Maybe that's enough secrets for one night," He said, stretching his fore legs. "We should get some rest."

Miko nodded, giving a big yawn of his own "I agree with you there Spike, come on we got a big day tomorrow and broken friendships to rekindle." He said referring to the 5 girls back at school and his own with Rainbow Dash.

Twilight felt a pang of excitement mixed with anxiety. "What do we do now?" She asked, looking at Miko.

"Like Spike said, Sleep, it's late anyways" Miko just said as they walked back inside the house. Twilight couldn't argue with that, she was tired. She had so much to think about, so much to process.

The house was quiet, only the occasional creak of the floorboards breaking the silence. They all climbed the stairs to the second floor where Miko's room and the guest room was. Spike yawned again, his eyes drooping with exhaustion.

"Good night, Miko," Twilight said, pausing at the doorway to the guest room. "Thank you for trusting us with your secret."

Miko nodded, his smile genuine. "Thanks for understanding. I'm just happy I don't have to hide it anymore." He turned to leave, but not before adding, "Oh, and Twilight?"

Twilight looked at him expectantly. "Yeah?"

Miko's gaze grew serious. "Be careful, Twilight. There are people out there who would do anything to get their hands on powers like mine. And now that you know..."

Twilight nodded solemnly. "We'll keep it between us, I promise." She watched as Miko turned to enter his room, the door clicking shut behind him.

Once inside the guest room, Twilight and Spike both let out a sigh of relief. "Wow," Spike whispered, his eyes wide with astonishment. "Miko's got more secrets than a dragon hoard."

Twilight nodded, her mind racing with the revelations of the night. "I can't believe he's been keeping all this to himself for so long."

Spike yawned again. "Yeah, and we've got to help him fix things with Rainbow Dash." He padded over to the bed and curled up at the foot. "But first, some shut-eye."

Twilight nodded, her mind racing. "You're right, Spike," she murmured, her eyes lingering on the closed door of Miko's room. "We've got a lot of work to do tomorrow."

With a weary sigh, she turned and climbed into the cozy bed, pulling the covers up to her chin. The room was quiet, save for the distant sound of crickets outside the window. Despite the revelations of the evening, sleep claimed her quickly, her mind whirling with thoughts of Miko's powers and the mysterious Giant of Light.

Meanwhile, within Miko's room, he looked over at the photo of him and Rainbow Dash on his nightstand, a sad smile gracing his lips. "I hope one day you can forgive me for being a complete dick." He murmured before placing the picture back down and changing back into his pajamas.

After changing, he sat on the edge of his bed when he noticed something outside in the night sky, a single star shining brightly then all the others dimming in comparison. It was like a signal, a silent call that resonated deep within him. 'Could that star be...' he thought in awe and wonder before he smiled and just went to bed.

As soon as he opened his eyes he sat up to see he was once again in the void. He couldn't help but roll his eyes and stood up "okay pal where are you"

The void remained silent as ever, Miko took a deep breath "Look, I know you're trying to tell me something, but if you could just tell me directly, that would save us both some time."

A gentle light grew around him, the void becoming brighter until it was almost blinding. Then, as suddenly as it had appeared, the light coalesced into the form of the Giant of Light. The being looked down at him, he gave him a slow nod in greeting.

Just like before his body was emitting a bright white light, so all Miko could see were its two oval-shaped eyes filled with warmth and kindness.

"Miko," the Giant's voice was like a gentle whisper that filled the entire space. "You are beginning to understand your purpose."

Miko nodded with a chuckle, "I guess I'm getting there, but I still need some answers."

The Giant of Light's gaze was understanding. "Your journey is not one of easy revelation, Miko. Your heart holds the key to unlocking your true potential."

Miko frowned, "But how do I do that? What's my next step?"

The Giant's eyes seemed to twinkle in the light. "Your heart already knows the way, Miko. You must learn to listen to it, to trust in the bonds you share with others."

Miko took a moment to consider the Giant's words before he gave a small nod with a small smile.

"I'll try," he said, feeling a sense of comfort wash over him.

"But I want to know one last thing" Miko said with narrowed eyes, he had to know if his suspicions were right.

The Giant of Light looked at him with patience "What is it Miko?"

Miko gave a knowing smirk. You're one of them aren't you, an Ultra." He said as his memories flashed to one of his favorite japanese tokusatsu series, Ultraman.

The Giant of Light didn't confirm or deny his question, instead, he simply said. "You are on the right path, Miko. Embrace your destiny and you will find your true strength."

Miko didn't need a direct answer as he closed his eyes and gave a chuckle, "ryokai...aibou" he said in Japanese, a phrase that roughly translated to 'understood, partner'.

The Giant of Light's light grew even brighter, enveloping Miko in a warm embrace. "Your journey is one of light and hope, Miko. Do not let fear or doubt cloud your path."

Miko felt the energy of the Giant fill him, the warmth spreading through his body and into his soul. He opened his eyes, feeling more alive than he had in years. "I won't," he said with newfound resolve. "I'll do whatever it takes to protect my friends and this world."

The Giant nodded solemnly, it's light dimming gradually. "Remember, Miko, the strength you seek is not in your powers, but in your heart. When you truly believe in the goodness of others, you will find your true place in this world."

Miko felt the light withdraw, leaving him alone once more in the void. He stood there for a moment, pondering the Giant's words. Then, with a newfound determination, he took a deep breath. "I will," he whispered to the empty space.

As he opened his eyes, he found himself back in his room, the soft light from dawn casting a gentle glow on the walls. He knew what he had to do. He had to fix things with Rainbow Dash, to explain everything and hope she would understand.

He stretched "well, might as well get started on making breakfast" Miko murmured to himself. As he walked out of his room, closing the door on his way out, he couldn't shake the feeling of excitement and dread. He had to face Rainbow Dash today and explain his actions. Would she ever forgive him?

'okay best case scenario our talk will end with filled with happy tears and smiles, worst case scenario she beats the crap out of me,' he thought with a wince at the end as he walked past the guest room, Twilight and Spike were still asleep, considering he could hear the dragon turned dog's loud snores from the hallway.

'Jeez, Spike sure can snore,' Miko thought to himself sweatdropping. 'i wonder how in the hell can Twilight sleep through that?'

He walked downstairs to the kitchen, the aroma of brewing coffee filling the air. Miko started to prepare breakfast, his thoughts racing with the conversation he had with the Giant of Light. He knew he had to tell Rainbow Dash the truth about his powers. But how?

Miko deadpanned as he grabbed the flour from the cupboard, he rolled his eyes at the obvious answer 'the blunt and direct way of course' he thought as he grabbed a few more ingredients for pancakes. The comforting routine of cooking helped him gather his thoughts, the sizzle of the pan and the sweet smell of syrup reminded him of simpler times, before the weight of his powers and the prophecy had settled on his shoulders.

With breakfast ready, he gently knocked on the guest room door. "Rise and shine, Twilight, Spike," he called out, trying to keep his nerves in check. Twilight emerged first, her eyes still half-closed from sleep. "Is that...are you making pancakes?" she asked, sniffing the air.

"With fresh fruits and a side of oatmeal, yes" he said with a smile.

Twilight's eyes lit up, and she practically skipped into the kitchen, her excitement palpable. Spike, on the other hand, took a little longer to wake up, his tail wagging sleepily as he followed the scent of breakfast.

After breakfast and getting ready they walked out of the house into the early morning light. The air was crisp and cool, a gentle breeze. Miko locked the front door and they headed towards the bus stop.

"So, how do we tell Rainbow Dash?" Twilight asked, her voice filled with concern.

"You let me worry about my problem with Dash, while you and Spike on the other hand focus on helping Applejack and the others on fixing their friendship," he said as they waited for the bus. Twilight nodded, knowing that this was something Miko had to handle himself.

While they waited for the bus Miko idly wondered how things would go from here since he stopped Snips and Snails from gathering those embarrassing videos of Twilight. "Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The bus ride to school was filled with an awkward silence, each of them lost in their own thoughts. Twilight couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and dread for what the day would bring. When they arrived, the schoolyard was already bustling with students.

Spike was hiding in Twilight's backpack as Miko and her made their way to the front door when they heard Principal Celestia's voice over the P.A system.

[Good morning students and happy Thursday. Just a reminder to pick up your balance for the princess of the Fall Formal today. They are due at the time the dance starts tomorrow night, so don't forget to turn them in and make your voice be heard.] She said through the P.A system.

"Sounds like our deadline is today." Miko said with narrowed eyes "We have to find a way to make the whole school vote for you, Twilight." He said, stroking his chin in thought.

Twilight nodded, "Right, but how are we going to do that? Everyone here is too afraid to stand up against Sunset Shimmer, and I'm new here, so no one really knows me." She said as they stepped into the hallway, filled with the sound of chatter and lockers slamming shut.

Miko shrugged "Then we'll just have to introduce you to them. That way, it'll be easier to let them know that you're the type of princess that this school needs." He said with a grin.

Twilight nodded "Hmm, I like that plan. Hopefully it'll work because both of our worlds are counting on me winning this thing." She said with a slight chuckle.

As Miko and Twilight began walking through the halls where the student lockers were, people around were looking at Miko and Twilight together and started whispering some things to each other.

"Hey isn't that the Phantom?" One of the Athletes, Tennis Match whispered as she looked at Miko and Twilight.

Nolan North, a member of the drama club, nodded "It is." He said.

"Yeah but who's that girl beside him," Velvet Sky, one of the Techies asked in Curiosity.

"I think that's the new girl who just transferred here. She's the Phantom's Pen Pal from what I've heard, and get this, they both stood up to Sunset Shimmer yesterday." Blueberry Cake, one of the Fashionistas said, getting a few students' attention.

Sandalwood, one of the eco-kids Looked at her in shock "Dude, Seriously? Man they got to have balls of steel to stand up to Sunset Shimmer" he said with amazement.

Curly Winds one of the athletes grinned "Let me tell you this though, if that girl is brave enough to back talk Sunset Shimmer, then that's the type of girl that I'd want for Princess of the Fall Formal." He said.

Velvet Sky, one of the Techies nodded in agreement "and if the Phantom stood up to Sunset as well then that means he's not all bad" she said with a small smile.

"I agree. I'm voting for the new girl if you guys are" Microchips one of Techies said

The murmurs grew louder as more students noticed the pair, intrigued by the two people who dared to stand up to Sunset Shimmer. This ripple of interest was exactly what Miko and Twilight needed to start their campaign. Hearing this Miko couldn't help but smirk.

'Well would you look at that, it seems we're already getting somewhere.' he thought to himself before he placed a hand on Twilight's shoulder and whispered in her ear. "Look at that Twilight. You're already gaining support from your fellow students."

Twilight's eyes widened with excitement as she took in the whispers of her name and the nods of approval from the students around them. "Really? That's amazing! Hopefully, this'll keep going." She whispered back, her voice barely audible over the chatter of the hallway.

Miko nodded, his expression a mix of amusement and determination. "We've got this," he assured her. "But remember, we need to be on our guard. Sunset Shimmer isn't the type to just let this slide."

Twilight nodded "Right."

As the two of them were walking, someone quickly grabbed them both and pulled you into one of the empty classrooms.

"Woah! What the-?!/What the Hell?!" Twilight and Miko exclaimed as they were pulled in.

As they both stumbled inside Miko turned to the one who pulled them in and glared "Okay what the fuck is- Rarity?!" He said in surprise at the end as she quickly closed the door.

Rarity is a seventeen year old girl with white skin, long purple curled hair with three cut-out blue shaped diamonds for a hair clip, blue eyes, sky-blue eye shadow with long black lashes, and roving purple eyebrows. She has yellow and gold bracelets around her wrists, She wore a pale blue elbow-sleeved shirt, a purple skirt with her pony counterpart's cutie mark, a darker purple (or sometimes black) belt with two blue buckles, and purple boots in a high wedge heel, which lavender tops are covered with a single diamond.

Miko first met her during they're junior year... and well... to put it basically the second Rarity saw his clothes she... Got into one of her moments, and now Miko knew exactly how Twilight felt when she went through it herself.

Hearing Miko say Rarity's name got Twilight's attention as she looked at her. It was followed by Spike poking his head out to also look at her.

Rarity smiled at Miko walking closer to them "Hello, Miko darling. It's so wonderful to see you." She said before turning to Twilight. "And you must be the new girl that I've heard so much about."

Twilight nodded. "You would be right. I'm Twilight Sparkle." She introduced herself.

"It's a pleasure, as Miko said my name is Rarity," Rarity introduced herself, she then notices Spike poking out of Twilight's backpack.

"Oh my goodness! You have a dog? He's so adorable!" Rarity said cooing while scratching Spike's chin who's pupils soon became heart-shaped as a result.

Miko just deadpanned at Spike becoming putty in the fashionista's hands before shook his head and turned his attention to Rarity.

"Okay Rarity, mind telling us why you pulled us in here out of the blue?" He asked with a raised eyebrow as he crossed his arms.

Rarity turned to him a bit sheepish at that, before she quickly composed herself. "Well, everyone's talking about how a new girl and you both stood up to Sunset Shimmer and how you both know each other as you are both Pen Pals apparently. They also discussed how she was running for Princess of the Fall Formal. Are these rumors correct?" She explained.

"They are." Twilight nodded.

Rarity's eyes lit up. "Oh my! You both are quite brave for doing something so bold as to run against the bully queen of CHS."

Miko leaned against the desk with a sigh. "Yeah, I guess we are."

"I must warn you though, that Sunset Shimmer will try anything devious, malicious, or something else along those lines in order to win. In other words, This won't be an easy task for you." She warned them both.

Miko nodded seriously. "Oh trust me we know" he said with a small frown "I managed to scare Snips and Snails away before they could record Twilight doing something potentially embarrassing. Although, we still need to keep our eyes peeled for those two."

The classroom door suddenly opened as Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie entered.

Applejack smiled "There ya are, you two! I've been lookin' everywhere for ya." She said glad she finally found them.

"Me too." Fluttershy said with a small smile.

"Me three!" Pinkie commented as she hung from the ceiling.

Rarity then noticed Pinkie before she frowned and looked away. "Oh, it's you..." She said crossing her arms

While he felt a small amount of tension growing he ignored it for now and turned to Applejack. "Why were you three looking for me and Twilight?" He asked, raising a curious eyebrow.

"Trixie told us that Twilight was runnin' for Princess of the Fall Formal." Applejack answered with a grin.

Fluttershy nodded "At first, I didn't believe that you actually wanted to run for princess. But after the rumors started going around, that's when I realized that you were serious." She said,

"Yeah, and a lot of people are already wanting to vote for you instead of that no good, meanie, bully queen Sunset Shimmer." Pinkie said, her voice bubbling with her usual excitement as she dropped down from the ceiling.

Seeing her drop down from the ceiling Miko couldn't help but ask "Does she always have to defy the laws of physics?" He asked and Rarity merely shrugged like she was used to it.

'Pinkie will be Pinkie I guess,' Miko thought to himself.

He then smiled "Well, I guess I gotta thank Trixie later for the help." Miko said taking a mental note to thank Trixie later "Anyways, since my Pen Pal here was running for princess, I decided to help her out by making sure that Sunset doesn't try anything as well as her lackeys." He Explained.

"I'll be sure to vote for you Twilight." Fluttershy stated and Twilight responded with an appreciative smile. "You were so nice to stand up for me when Sunset Shimmer was picking on me yesterday," Fluttershy continued.

"If ya wanna run, maybe there's something I can do to help!" Pinkie offered.

"Word of advice? Don't accept her help. She doesn't take anything seriously!" Fluttershy told Twilight.

"Ugh! Why do you have to be so awful to me?" Pinkie asked Fluttershy.

"Oh! Pff. Kch. Ts! Don't play innocent, Pinkie Pie! You are no better than she is!" Rarity stated pointing at Fluttershy.

"And what is that supposed to mean?!" Pinkie asked, screaming in Rarity's face.

"I am happy to offer up my assistance as well," Rarity said to Twilight and Miko before turning to Pinkie. "To someone who would appreciate what I have to offer!"

This soon led to an argument between the girls as Twilight and Spike didn't know what to do to stop it.

Miko sighed heavily, he facepalmed before dragging his hand down his face. "Great, just what we needed." He mumbled under his breath. He looked at Twilight, who seemed equally overwhelmed by the sudden outburst of drama. "Guys, guys!" He called out, trying to be heard over the escalating argument. "This isn't the time for this!"

"Miko's right, listen to y'all carryin' on! Get over it and move on!" Applejack stated, eating an apple before she put the core in the trash.

He facepalmed at her blunt words. 'So not the words I was going for Applejack...' he thought to himself with a small groan.

"You mean like how you've gotten over what happened with Rainbow Dash?" Rarity asked Applejack accusingly pointing at her.

While he knew the words weren't pointed at him, Miko couldn't help but flinch at the mention of Rainbow Dash. The room grew eerily quiet, the weight of their words hanging in the air. Twilight looked from Miko to Applejack, sensing the tension.

Not noticing Miko flinch, Applejack argued back "She said she'd get the softball team to make an appearance at my bake sale. I tell everybody they're comin', and then not one of 'em shows up! She made a liar outta me! That's different!" She pointed out.

"Is Not!" Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy said.

"Is Too!" Applejack Countered.

Seeing things escalate Miko slowly stepped back to where Twilight was standing as Spike jumped into her backpack and zipped it up from inside. "Oh boy, this is not good." Miko muttered.

The argument grew louder, with accusations flying back and forth. Twilight looked at Miko with a mix of shock and confusion. "I didn't know things were this tense between them," she whispered.

"You're telling me," he whispered back, wincing as the girls' voices rose. The room was a whirlwind of accusations and defenses, each trying to outdo the other in volume and intensity.

Not being able to take it anymore Twilight snaps. "STOP!" She yelled, getting all their attention. "All of you! I want to show you all something. You were friends once."

Spike's paw poked out from Twilight's bag holding out the yearbook to her, once Twilight took it he zipped it back down again from inside.

She took a seat on a desk and opened it to a page she'd bookmarked that showed the four plus Rainbow Dash in a photo.

"The Freshman Fair. Y'all remember?" Applejack asked the other girls. Who all agreed.

"But something happened. I think that something was Sunset Shimmer," Twilight theorized.

"Well, it's a nice theory, darling, but Sunset Shimmer had nothing to do with it," Rarity stated.

"She's right. Sunset Shimmer isn't the one who ruined my silent auction for the animal shelter by bringing fireworks and noisemakers! It was supposed to be a serious event, and Pinkie Pie ruined it!" Fluttershy added.

"What are you talking about? I got a text from you saying that you didn't want a silent auction. You wanted a big party!" Pinkie stated, showing the text on her phone.

Miko released a small sigh of relief. 'Finally, the truth is unveiled,' he thought to himself.

"I never sent you a text!" Fluttershy pointed out, clearly surprised.

"You didn't?" Pinkie wondered, looking through her phone again.

"You don't think she's the one who's been sending me those emails, do you? Every time I volunteer to help with the decorations at a school function, I get an email from Pinkie Pie saying she has plenty of volunteers! And then I find out she's done everything herself," Rarity told them.

"I never sent you any emails!" Pinkie stated, looking really confused now.

"Sunset Shimmer must have hacked your devices. I wouldn't put it past her and it's the only way she could make all that work," Miko pointed out.

"Maybe she's the reason Rainbow Dash didn't show up for my bake sale!" Applejack theorized.

"You never asked Dash why she didn't show up did you?" Miko asked, giving her a small smile.

"Heh, I guess I kinda stopped talkin' to her at all after that," Applejack admitted.

"Maybe now would be a good time to start," Twilight suggested.

Miko nodded in agreement. "We're all in this together. We need to work together to stop Sunset and make sure Twilight gets elected as Princess of the Fall Formal."

"Does anybody know where Rainbow Dash is?" Twilight asked, breaking the tension slightly.

Miko sighed, rubbing the back of his neck "if I know Dash she's probably at the soccer field."

"The soccer field?" Twilight asked, raising an eyebrow.

Miko nodded before he pulled his hoodie up over his head. "Follow me, Oh, and Applejack, you talk to her first before i do okay?" the last thing he wants is a fucking butterfly effect because he talked to her first.

Applejack nodded "Alright."

With Miko leading the way they left the classroom.

The soccer field was a short walk from the school building located outside of the building. It has two goal posts and bleachers.

There, they found Rainbow on the soccer field.

Rainbow Dash is a seventeen year old human girl with sky-blue skin, rainbow-colored hair, and magenta eyes. She has red, yellow and blue wristbands on her wrists, she is wearing a blue short-sleeved sweatshirt over a white shirt with a black collar and her pony counterpart's cutie mark on it, a pink and white skirt with tight-fitting black bike shorts underneath, socks of the same color as her wristbands, and blue and white knee-high boots.

While sitting at the bleachers the five watched as Applejack went up and talked to Rainbow. There wasn't any yelling, screaming, or violent movements.

"They're actually talking! That's a good sign!" Rarity commented.

Miko with his hood still covering his face nodded in agreement.

The two girls eventually hugged each other. "Hugs! Ooh, hugs are always good!" Pinkie stated.

Applejack and Rainbow then came up to the group. "Somebody, and I think we can all guess who, told Rainbow Dash that my bake sale had been moved to a different day. Dash showed up with all the softball team and thought I'd canceled on her!" Applejack explained.

"So you're lookin' to dethrone Sunset Shimmer and become Princess of the Fall Formal, huh?" Rainbow asked Twilight, who nodded. "Gotta say, I'd really love to see that happen. I'll totally help you out! All you gotta do is beat me in a game of one-on-one," Rainbow challenged.

"What?" Twilight asked in surprise and Miko immediately knew this wasn't going to end well.

"First to five goals wins," Rainbow said as she kicked a ball into the net. "One-zip!" Rainbow declared.

'Well crap, this is definitely not going to end well...' Miko thought to himself,

Even with Rainbow conceding that goal though, Twilight got her ass handed to her as she was completely uncoordinated and ended up on the ground panting at the end. "That's the game!" Rainbow declared as Miko and the others came over to Twilight.

"I... really thought you were gonna... pull it off there in the end!" Rarity said, trying to make things sound better, but everyone but Twilight and Fluttershy glared at her.

"Don't sugarcoat it," Miko stated as he helped Twilight up.

"So what's the plan? How can I help you be Princess instead of Sunset Shimmer?" Rainbow asked Twilight.

"But… I… lost," Twilight pointed out through gasps.

"Take a moment to breathe Twilight," Miko advised, whispering to her.

"Of course you lost. I'm awesome! But I'm not gonna help just anybody try and beat Sunset Shimmer. The Fall Formal Princess should be someone with heart and determination. You've proved that you've got 'em both!" Rainbow stated. Miko felt that things were looking up.

Until he heard Twilight's next words, "um, Rainbow? There is somebody else who needs to talk to you." She said still trying to get her breath back

Rainbow looked at her in confusion until she saw the hooded guy behind her. She squinted her eyes trying to make out who it was. "Who's that?" She pointed at Miko.

Miko slowly reached for his hoodie and tentatively pulled it back down revealing his face, "Hey...Dash."

Rainbow Dash's eyes went wide with shock, before they slowly narrowed. "What do you want?" she said coldly.

Miko took a deep breath, bracing himself for her reaction. "I just want to talk," he began, his voice steady.

Rainbow Dash stared at him, her expression a storm of emotions. "What do you have to say that I would even want to hear?" she challenged, her arms crossed over her chest.

"I'm sorry, i know i pushed you away but i had my reasons" Miko began as he took a step forward "But i never meant to hurt you"

Rainbow's face softened slightly "You never had reasons to push me away. You were my best friend!" she exclaimed."I wanted to know why! But instead you told me that it wasn't my business that I meant nothing to you…"

Miko took another step forward, his eyes filled with regret. "I know I hurt you, and I can't apologize enough for that. But I need you to understand that I was protecting you. I was hiding something from everyone, something was happening to me and i couldn't risk it"

Rainbow Dash's expression didn't change as she studied him. "What could you possibly have that was so important to keep from me?" She questioned, her voice filled with skepticism.

Miko breathed "the only way to tell you is if i showed you" he said making Applejack's eyes widened in surprise " Sugarcube...are ya sure?" She asked softly.

Miko nodded "I trust you guys." He then turned to Rainbow Dash "Do you trust me enough to believe me?"

Rainbow stared at him for a moment before she nodded "Okay, show me."

He looked around to make sure nobody else was there, once he was sure the coast was clear he walked to one of the bleachers.

Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy looked on in confusion wondering what he was going to do while Twilight, Spike, and Applejack knew what he was about to do.

Once he was next to the bleachers he took a deep breath closing his eyes and focused, a second later he opened them, his usual green eyes had become a glowing ethereal blue surprising the four girls who weren't in the know.

Rainbow Dash's eyes went wide in shock. "What the...?" She whispered.

Reaching out with a single hand he effortlessly lifted up one of the bleachers above his head.

The four girls who weren't aware of his powers gasped in shock and awe as he did so.

"This... This isn't possible!" Rarity stuttered, her eyes wide as saucers.

Pinkie Pie's jaw dropped. "Oh my gosh, Miko, you're like... Superman!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands in excitement.

Fluttershy took a step back, her eyes wide in shock. "I-I had no idea," she murmured.

Miko let out a sigh, the bleacher hovering in the air for a brief moment longer before setting it down gently. "Yeah, I know. I've been keeping this a secret for a while," he said, running a hand through his hair.

Rainbow Dash took a step closer, her eyes never leaving Miko's face. "What happened to you?" she asked, a mix of anger and concern in her voice.

Miko took a deep breath and told them his story, from the day he discovered his powers to the present and explained the reason he broke all ties with a Rainbow Dash during the near end of freshman year was because he couldn't control his powers at the time and was afraid he might end up hurting her or worst so he did what he did, he also explained about the Giant of Light.

As he finished, Rainbow was silent, looking at him deadpanning. "You're an idiot, you know that?" She said, breaking the silence.

Miko felt his heart drop, expecting the worst "What?" He asked.

Rainbow Dash shook her head, "You could've told me, Miko. I'm not that fragile, and I would've had your back no matter what!"

Miko's shoulders slumped, "I know that now, but back then, I was scared. I didn't want to put you or anyone else in danger."

Rainbow Dash took a deep breath, her eyes searching Miko's. "Well, you're not going to do that now, are you?"

Miko looked at her, understanding what she meant. "Never Again, so best friends?" He offered a small smile.

Rainbow looked at him for a moment before she smirked "You bet your ass we're best friends," she said before she tackled him into a hug. "But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna kick your ass for hiding this from me!" She added playfully.

The group of friends laughed, the tension of the moment dissipating as they all felt the bond between Miko and Rainbow Dash grow stronger. "So, what's the plan to take down Sunset?" Rainbow asked, pulling away from the hug and cracking her knuckles.

Before Miko could answer the bell rang signaling the start of classes. "Why don't we talk more about it after school" he smirked a bit when Rainbow Dash groaned "Alright, fine." Rainbow relented.

And so the group went inside the school, the bell ringing in their ears as they dispersed to their classes. The day went on as usual, filled with lessons and whispers of the impending Fall Formal. But in the back of four girls' minds, the knowledge of Miko's powers lingered, a secret shared between them that had brought them closer together.

Unknown to them somebody was watching them as they went back inside the school.

Sunset Shimmer and her two lackeys Snips and Snails were shocked at the scene they had just witnessed from afar.

"W-what do we do Sunset?" Snips asked in slight fear when he saw Miko's strength in action.

But Sunset didn't hear him, her mind going a mile a minute as she looked at the spot where Miko and the girls had left 'What the hell?! How did do that, i know that wasn't Equestrian Magic because there is none in this Dimension, so what the fuck is he?!' She thought to herself.

She shook her head before she started to walk away with her to lackeys following behind her "Well, shit. That complicates things." She murmured to herself.

She then narrowed her eyes with a smirk 'even so, it doesn't matter, because once I get that crown and it's power nobody will be able to stop me, not even you Tsuburaya...' she thought to herself heading to her own class.
