Silver's POV

He pulls up his clipboard and then reads what it says.

-Prepare the slideshow

-Organise a plan

-Deal with transactions

-Discuss possibilities with the boss

-Set up meeting

-Send mammals to training

-Prepare to siege

-Pray that that crazy loony doesn't mess with the plan too much.

-Attack the Boardozer's headquarters and take whatever power he possesses.

There was a black check-mark in front of the first seven but the eighth one had a heavy cross in front of it. It was so heavy that it almost ripped the paper that it was on. "Spectre, you fucking prick." He growled quietly, hoping no-one heard it. Then a familiar wolf walked out, slinging a rifle in front of him. "Waller, what are you doing here? You should be training either in hand to hand or with that rifle."

"Well, I would if I wasn't set up to do nothing. I'm working with that absolute lunatic so I won't need to fight. This is just a precaution to pretend I'll be doing something."

"And if you need to do something?"

"Then my trusty HK416 will be just fine. There won't be much left for me to deal with." Waller gleamed with pride. His smile was wide and toothy. If it was the middle of the night, he would act as a beacon for the mammals that don't have night vision.

"But, Spectre will be more than capable to make it so that such a rifle isn't necessary."

"I don't trust that suicidal fox." He spat so vehemently that he had to lower his head. "None of us do. That's the issue. We don't need him or his pals. So yeah, I'm taking my rifle."

Silver groaned at the explanation. After a few deep breaths, he turned back to the wolf in front of him. "Just go before I decide that my patience has worn too thin."

"Sorry sir, yes sir." Waller ran off, hoping he wasn't going to have to clean the ring again. Oh god the sweat that is left there is too much.

"Ugh, why can't everyone fall in line and do what they are told. It's so frustrating, they never listen."

A different voice came from behind , a gruff and aggressive voice. "Yeah, that's why I left it all to you. Although, there are days where I feel I should take control."

"Sir, it is acceptable to delegate roles."

"Yeah, but you do everything, I do nuthin'." He growled that last part. "I mean, what would actually happen if I died or left. You would take over and nothing would change."

"Sir, you could show why you are the boss, and I do think most still understand you are more than just a token fox sitting behind a desk." Silver stated, praying that his boss was understanding what was said.

"I guess ya right. I do need ta show why I'm the boss. I'm goin' as well."

"But sir, you'll be killed!"

"Then you will take my place. We all know you are a better leader than me anyways."

"Once again sir, that is not true."

"Stop with the sir shit. Call me Finnick."

"But..." He paused when he saw the eyes of his boss staring directly into his soul. "Yes sir... I-I mean Finnick." He then sighed. "But then where are you going?"

"With the only one that can keep me alive."

"Sir none of us are that go..." Silver's eyes widened and mouth dropped."No, you don't mean him."

"Well, if we are going to owe him a favour or two, he might as well need to earn it." Silver panicked as he heard that. "And as you said, I'm the boss so don't try to stop me."

"Sir, it is my job to ensure your safety as much as possible and walking into the place the boardozer resides is highly inadvisable."

"Silver, I understand what you are saying but I don't care, my decision is final."

Finnick then started to leave the room while Silver kept a facade of acceptance. His smile tried to hide the pain that was present in his eyes. The moment he heard the door close, he screamed. "FUCK! FUCK, FUCK, FUCK! WHY CAN'T ANYONE JUST FOLLOW THE FUCKING PLAN I HAD!" He slammed his fist into the wall next to him. "I guess I need to ensure the vehicles are fine." He walked over to the garage and looked over the vehicles that were ready.

The first car was an elegant black mouscedes, designed to transport more valuable members. This was the one going to take Silver, Finnick, Waller and possibly Fenrir.

Then there were a few vans, to take groups of mammals together. That was where the rest of the storming force would reside.

Hopefully, no more curveballs came. "I would hate if the plan was changed again."

He examined the vehicles to ensure they weren't tampered with. They were all clean and so could be safely used. "At least the cars don't have their own ideas." He then sighed, knowing that he should practise as well. He walked glumly towards his office, walking past many mammals, both bigger and smaller than him. Many greeted him but he returned very few greetings. He was to frustrated with how everything panned out to actually be aware of his surroundings.

He barged into his office and sat down behind his desk. The walls were bland and beige. The desk was a regular wooden one with no special carvings. On the desk was a wide array of papers spread out in a disorganised pile and a microphone that seemed to link to a telecom system. As he did that, his chair span violently in a clockwise direction. As it started to slow down, he gripped his desk, stopping the chair, then slammed his forehead onto it. "Why can't I have just a normal day where it all goes how I suggested it? It was a good plan. A good plan." He raised his head and sighed. His sigh quickly transitioned into a groan and the groan quickly transitioned into a growl. As he started growling, Fenrir walked in. He heard the growl and tried to keep his laughter to himself but a small chuckle made its way out. Silver heard this and stared at the giant wolf. Silver pulled out a revolver from under his desk. "Wanna laugh again? The plan is already ruined so it wouldn't hurt to do this."

"Of course, I do sincerely apologise. I did not wish to offend you, it was merely a reaction to an unexpected event." Victor proclaimed calmly, showing no fear for the gun that was pointed at him. Fenrir doubled down on the dare that was placed and walked towards the silver fox. "But if you wish to shoot me, I would not hold it against you mainly because I would be dead but that is beyond the point I am trying to present."

"You're right, I'm just wound up more than a fucking jackal-in-the-box. I just need a second break." He waved his paw in the air towards the wolf. Then he used that paw to pull out his P320. He threw the gun on his desk and let it sit there. "So, what now? What did you want?"

"Mr. Silver, I wanted to question when we are supposed to be leaving."

"Soon, you will know when we are leaving." Silver responded in a slight grumble but still trying to keep a professional courtesy. "I'd say a couple minutes. You will be in the mouscedes, alongside me and the boss." He turned to the wall, on which the other side of laid his boss, who said to call him 'Finnick'. After a few seconds, he continued. "The driver will be Waller. Before you ask, I trust him, he may be a little head strong sometimes but I do trust him."

"That is all I could ask then. With all of the 'paperwork' covered, lets discuss the metaphorical elephant in the room. What is happening between you all and Mr. Showman? I only ask because I wouldn't want all this to be wasted due to his … what word would fit here?"

"Arrogance?"

"He doesn't seem to be arrogant. I know arrogant mammals, they tend to die quickly."

"Overconfidence makes you careless."

"No, he knows what he is doing. I can tell. He more, as I know he would refer to it, 'seeks fun'. I believe he wants to push himself to see what ends him."

"But why would he want to die?"

"No, I don't think he wants death, I think the spectral showman needs a final show. He is just seeking it."

"Why do you think that?"

"It's a feeling, as you would call it. A gut feeling. How do we make sure that he does what he is supposed to?"

"I believe Finnick has that covered."

"Finnick, you mean the fennec? I thought he was staying here."

Silver started to get agitated now. "No he isn't. Why would he? Why would anyone listen to my plan?" He forced a pained smile at the wolf. He then looked at the watch that was on his wrist. "Oh shit." He pressed a button on his desk and spoke into a microphone. "Time to go, now. Those who are going know who they are." He stood up in a panic and grabbed his SIG P320. "Time to go." he declared, this time directed to the wolf in front of him. He got up and pushed the office door wide open then pointed outside.

"Thank you."

"For?"

"Holding the door, why of course."

"Just go."

Fenrir walked past and Silver followed, while directing towards the mouscedes. When they reached the car, they saw Waller standing beside Finnick. "So, what took you so long?"

"Sorry sir, we had an important discussion." Silver responded, trying to protect himself.

"I corroborate that story. It truly did happen." Fenrir added, knowing that Finnick trusted him a little.

"Okay, what was it about?" Finnick asked, annoyed that there were slight delays.

'Just my luck.' Silver thought, considering quickly what to say. "There were a few questions about certain 'variables' within the plan." Finnick looked at him intensively, while bringing his bat a bit up. "Sir, we still don't know how much we can trust our hired help."

"Spectre always closes his contracts otherwise he doesn't sign 'em. We can trust him since as you saw, he made it." Silver sighed then when he was about to tell Waller to drive, Finnick spoke up, "Waller, get behind the wheel, ya drivin'."

"Yessir." Waller jumped into the car, then waited for everyone else to get in. Fenrir got in last and Finnick got in first. Silver stepped into the front seat showing that he was also defending the vehicle. He hid his P320 into his holster. Just as Waller was about to drive, Silver got a phone call. The phone read "Clown" as he was about to answer. He looked at his screen and huffed.

"Everyone quiet, its Spectre." Everyone turned in intrigue towards the silver fox. He swiped the screen with reluctance to answer the phone. He knew he should pretend to not know who it was as to ensure anonymity. "Hello, who is this?"

"Hey, lesser gold, how's the team coming along?"

Everyone heard Spectre say that and turned to the silver fox to see his reaction. "Less- Hey, I'm worth more. Ugh, everyone is ready. We had an all paws on deck situation and every mammal is tiptop shape."

"That's good to hear greyscale."

Silver groaned when he heard the name he was given, again."Why are you like this?"Spectre laughed when he heard that from the other side of the phone. Finnick was about to start laughing from the backseat but the rest were respectful and kept a straight face."If that is all you wanted I will be leaving now."

"Wait, how's the big bad wolf that lost to , and I quote, 'a cute wittle bunny'?" Waller then side-eyed the phone with a strong scowl on his face.

"Waller is fine, he is bringing his own rifle for this as ,and I quote, he 'don't trust that suicidal fox'."

"What rifle is it, chrome polish?"

"I hate you." Silver closed his eyes and imagined himself ripping out that insufferable fo- his thoughts were cut off when he heard Spectre speak again.

"Interesting gun name."

"Fuck you." He responded instantly. He paused to recollect his thoughts and not accidentally lash out "He will be bringing an HK416."

"Tell him, he's not special for having a slightly better M4. And tell him to ask Fenrir for some incendiaries." Silver looked back at the large wolf, who nodded in understanding and agreement.

"Understood, Is that all?"

"Yeah, see ya there, Ag."

"Ag? Oh for fuck sake." The line was cut off before he finished his sentence. Fenrir placed a box of bullets on the arm rest of the driver's seat.

"As requested." He declared triumphantly but quietly as he placed the box.

Waller responded with his appreciation while still looking at the road. His thanks were reciprocated with a nod and a tap on the floor with Fenrir's cane.

All of a sudden, Finnick spoke up, "So, 'Ag', what's the plan?"

Silver turned around, ready to murder the smaller mammal that just said that. "The plan is a three pronged assault. The front will be the 'main' force." His eyes then looked at the fox then the regular sized wolf that was driving. "From the sides will be two 'weaker' forces as the majority of their defence will be concentrated at the front. The three forces will push towards the middle, where we will converge and assault the panic room."

"What about the second floor, sir?" Waller spoke up. "We all saw the slides. There's a second floor."

"Doesn't matter, it won't affect the plan."

"But we could be ambushed fr-"

"We will be quick and decisive." Silver declared forcefully. "They will not have enough time to react in a suitable manner. There will be no counter-offensive as they won't be ready for it."

Waller turned right into a small street as they were nearing the end of their journey. "So this is Savannah Central. Haven't been here in a long time." Finnick commented while leaving the car. The rest followed suit but made no comment. As they left the car, they heard someone call for them. They all turned to look in the direction of the caller. "Fuck, he is here."

"Hey, Brick, up here." All four then looked up to where they heard the voice. "Wait, pred bunny is here? I thought he said he didn't want to get involved." Finnick then started to quietly growl.

Silver groaned, "He decided he's going with you and Waller. Don't worry, your plan will still work." 'Whatever that 'plan' is. You better not get them killed.'

"Shorty, in there, it is my way or the highway, so I want you to know that." Finnick frowned as he heard that being said.

"We'll see about that smartass." Spectre slid down the pipe to the bottom and walked up to Finnick.

"You never scared me."

"What about when I sho-"

"Do you want the favours for this."

"I don't think you would back out of the deal now, would you?"

Finnick responded by first poking the suited fox with his bat then saying, "If it means I don't have ta listen to ya insufferable ass I would."

Just as Spectre opened his mouth, Silver jumped between them and explained quickly, "Sir, we have everything laid out now, they are a crucial part of the plan."

Finnick then threw his bat onto the floor out of frustration. "Fine, but I swear, if you step out of line, I will fursonally end you."

Spectre then jovially smiled and responded, "I'd love to see you try." That was when Finnick started to squint his eyes out of anger. He was ready to pounce and shred the fox in front of him to bits.

Then, after a few seconds, Waller approached and stated "Sir, we have everyone coming now. We should set everyone up now to have it easier. Everymammal will know where to go then." The two spiteful foxes nodded and Spectre whistled to the two other mammals. All then turned towards the roof Spectre came from. "Err, Spectre, sir, are they coming down?"

"I'd hope so but maybe they both are freaked out now." Spectre walked up a bit and looked up a bit closer. He then took off his shades to see if that helped him see. It really didn't and actually seemed to kind of hurt him.

Silver turned to Waller, "Remember, we need them alive." He said it quiet enough to not be heard by anyone. "They will be useful for other things as well." Waller nodded but then seemed to be conflicted. "Understood?" He nodded again.

"Okay, its go time." Waller responded just as quietly as he watched the other two slide down.

"Err, you will pay of the damages, right?" Spectre asked, knowing the answer was no. Isamu stared blankly at the fox that asked the question, not knowing what to say. "Never mind, you take everything super literally." Spectre groaned. "So as you see we are all here. So time to get ready, right?"

Isamu sheathed his sword and walked up to the silver fox, who was holstering his pistol and still wearing a suit with no tie. "So, you're going with me. Can I be honest for a second?" Isamu nodded. "You are the best one. Spectre is too unpredictable and Serenade is a little too volatile right now. I can tell she is fresh to all of this." Isamu smiled gently. "Okay, lets go to the position we are meant to be at." Silver headed towards the location and Isamu followed. Then many other mammals followed behind them.

"Now we wait, how will we know when we should go in?"

"Just use better ju-" Just as Silver was about to answer, a loud explosion occurred and shocked everyone there. Silver stood unimpressed, "Or, we just wait two minutes from now." Then he pulled out his watch from under his sleeve.

Two minutes passed in absolute silence as the grey fox was focused on his watch. Just as the second minute passed, he signalled to the mammals to go in. "Half stay behind and only come once summoned, I'll use the radios." One of the troops nodded. "Isamu, go in and scout out what lies ahead quietly and come back." Isamu nodded and ran in silently. "Everyone else form up. We wait for him to return." He then whispered to himself "But he won't have long."

While Isamu was scouting out ahead, Silver was syncing up watches with the two mammals he appointed as leaders for their division, just in case. He also made sure the radios were on the correct channels, he didn't want to leave anything to chance. Then after everything was finally ready, he looked back at his watch. 'Where are you?' He turned around to face the mammals that were about to head into combat with him but heard the door opening quietly.

Everyone turned and pointed a weapon at the door. Better safe than sorry. It was the ninja that was sent in. "Seems empty at first glance but many are hidden in walls and around corners. We need to be careful."

Silver turned to everyone else, "You heard him. When we go in, we check those corners." Everyone nodded. "Alright group one is going in with me. Group two, you are on standby, remember." Both teams nodded in acknowledgment. "Alright, lets go." Silver commanded, trying to mask his fear with a false bravado. He gently pushed the door open, cringing at the quiet screech it was making. He pulled out his P320 and aimed it down the corridor that laid inside.

When they all entered, Silver heard someone say that it was too quiet and empty. Isamu decided to take a more discrete route to not attract any attention and to be able to take out those he needs to. Silver of course let him, not wanting to waste the potential that was currently available. Everyone stood slightly huched over and were slightly scared of manoeuvring in this area, but Silver stood up tall to ensure that he was giving his team the confidence they need.

The path was desolate and the silence was deafening, no-one wanted to continue. As they were about to turn a corner, from behind them, a group of mammals jumped out and started to charge at Silver and co. Silver pulled out his radio and called for the second team to push forward. That was when a second force appeared from behind them. "Shit, we are surrounded." He then shouted orders. "Rifles are to be fired towards the direction we are heading. Melee is to attack the force behind us." Everyone moved to fulfil the wishes of their commander. Silver pulled out his pistol and started to shoot at the charging force from where they came. He ran towards them, keeping up with the others that ran that way and outpacing some of them. He ran in shooting his sidearm strategically. He fired only when he was sure it would hit. When he got close, he used the pistol as a melee weapon himself. He would grab other mammals and fire the pistol between the eyes or into their stomach to ensure their death.

Then two swung at him with their knives and he rolled backwards. With the space that was now made, he shot at the one that was to his left, but let the one on his right get close just as his pistol was empty. "Fuck." He mumbled. He delivered a front kick, pushing the knife-wielding mammal away and holstered his pistol. This time, the mammal swung his blade and hit the forearm of the grey fox. Blood splattered onto the floor. Silver groaned as he felt the liquid ooze down his arm. "Bastard." He let slip as he rushed at his opponent, feigned an attack with his healthy arm and struck with great force with his injured paw. The knife-wielding assailant stumbled backwards not expecting the attack from that arm and Silver yelled feeling a strong pain surge through his arm. He moved towards the imbalanced mammal and punched his stomach. Afterwards, he struck at the neck, causing the mammal to choke. He looked at his arm after the fight and thought simply, 'That was an unnecessary injury, could've been avoided.'

He looked up and saw the rest coming in and surrounding the rear enemy force. As they realised what has happened, half the enemies there surrendered, hoping they would be spared. Most of them were, but there were a few exceptions. On the other side of the fight, Silver realised that Isamu has cut down as many of the opposition as he could. He decided that he should now join in the fight and reloaded his currently empty pistol.

As the bullet chambered, he darted towards the remaining adversaries and attacked those he could, but whilst doing all of this, he yelled commands to ensure victory. "Flank around, force them to retreat. Isamu pushed them more towards the others. Fire more controlled bursts, holding down the trigger causes missing." etc. His commands were the deciding factor in the fight that was just finished.

"Sir, we have minimal casualty. I don't believe these deaths could've been avoided."

"Thanks for telling me this, return to your team." The mammal nodded and returned. Many of the enemy mammals were tied down and restrained to prevent escape. The battle was heavy and there was many casualties. "Everyone count the losses, ours and theirs, then report back to me through the radio." There were a couple salutes in response. "You, you and you. With me. Isamu, you're coming as well."

Silver knew they had to reach the end and hoped that the smaller force would be suitable enough. All he had was a raccoon, a tiger, a wolf, Isamu and himself. Everyone possessed some form of ranged weapon. Silver gripped his arm to stop the bleeding. Isamu noticed this, "You need rest, stay back and we will deal with the enemies."

"What type of leader am I, if I stay back?"

"An injured one. You clearly cannot use that arm so you need rest."

"Fine, I'll hang back. But I will still shoot if I can." 'He's right, I won't be able to do anything if I am detrimented like this.'

The five walked on with Isamu keeping an arrow ready in his bow. At one point, he stopped and help his paw up. Everyone stopped, curious to what the ninja was referring to. He pulled his sword out silently and ran off. Silver followed as closely as he could. The rest followed shortly after.

When they reached the position the ninja was at, they saw a group of cut down mammals and some still fighting the red fox. Silver pulled out his pistol and shot the three remaining enemies in the head in rapid succession. "Don't run off like that next time. Could've got yourself killed."

"They were unprepared so I had the advantage." Isamu reasoned.

"You were outnumbered."

"Not the first time." was the counter. "We want to be there. We had the shortest path of the three."

Silver pulled out his radio, "We reached the end, you can come to us, it is safe."

The five walked through the door and saw three other doors, one much heavier than the other two.

Then after a few minutes, Fenrir walked through the door opposite them. "Where's serenade?"

Fenrir looked back into the eyes of the fox. "Back there."

A/N:So I finally finished this chapter. It took way too long but finally I did it.

I really struggled with this chapter I don't know why but I have written other chapters in the mean time.

I don't know what to write apart from I'm sorry for not writing for so long.

The next chapter should come out very soon.
