Judy finished working after a long few hours of less than pleasant rushing mammals trying to buy flowers. She ended her work and clocked out verbally. Now, she was to return to her humble abode and have a discussion with her upstairs neighbour.

She finally arrived, with a few questions on her mind. She walked in through the side door, as it was much quicker than the regular door. When she walked in, she jumped onto the couch , where Isamu sat and greeted her. "How was work?"

"It was great, many were kind and grateful, surprisingly. However, there were a few that were a bit senseless." She then looked around. "Hey, did you see Spectre?" Isamu shook his head and then Judy pulled her phone out to call him.

Isamu looked at her quizzically."You have his number?"

"Yeah, you don't?"

"No! I don't. This is bu- not fair." He frowned and crossed his arms. He looked back at the television as Judy left to call and talk to the fox. She entered her room then closed the door, hoping it was enough to stop the conversation being heard.

The phone rang three times before it was answered. "Hello, now I am quite busy, so please hurry."

"Nick, I want to talk about a few things I've learned today. ASAP."

"H-Hey, Judy, hi. Why are you calling and with that tone?" Then quickly his tone shifted. "Wait, who did you talk to? Was it Jack?" He groaned audibly and said something that was barely heard through the speaker of the phone. "I'll be there 10 minutes." The phone hung up. She knew she wanted to know a few things. Judy decided that for privacy, she would head to the roof of the building, where only he and her ever went. She left the room, where Isamu stood on the other end with a curious face.

"So, who is Nick?"

"Don't worry, it's unimportant."

"Is it a lucky buck? Well, with the tone you used, probably unlucky."

"I told you, it is unimportant. Don't worry about it."

"Seems you really like this Nick." Isamu stated mockingly.

"As if, you don't even know who it is. Anyways, I'm going." Isamu waved at her before returning to the couch to watch whatever was on TV. She walked into the public area of building and headed to the stairs.

As she headed up the stairs, she heard someone follow. She placed her right paw under her shirt. "I realised you were right, I don't know this Nick you speak of."

"Shit" Judy muttered under her breath.

Isamu appeared and walked up the stairs. "You can let go of your gun now." He smiled, while tapping his sword that was on his back. "So, what am I meant to expect to see? A rabbit? A hare?" He asked as he then stood beside her.

"Why are you here? Don't you trust me?"

"I do, but I am also making sure you are safe, since you have a broken arm."

"He won't like this."

"Why not? I will be hidden away."

"We'll see." The two proceeded to go up the stairs until they reached the roof.

At the top, Isamu looked around and admired what little of a view there was. "So, this is where you meet him?"

"Well, yeah, prefers not to meet at his place and tried to avoid you." Isamu rolled his eyes and chuckled. "No, really, would be less awkward."

"He won't know that I'm here." Isamu then went and hid himself in a dark corner of the roof, making it almost impossible to see him.

5 minutes later

Nick walked up the stairs and walked through the door onto the roof. He saw Judy but first acted upon his gut feeling and looked into the dark corner. "Hey, Isamu, you can leave."

"Sensei? What are you doing here? I was expecting a -"

"Unimportant, I told you that it will be awkward." Isamu started to think about it all. 'Nick? Is that his actual name?' He didn't question anything and only left to go back downstairs. He looked back at the two one more time curiously before leaving.

"Ok fluff, spill it, what did you tell him to make him act like that?"

"He may have eavesdropped on the phone call. I didn't know I swear."

Nick froze for a second, realising what she meant. "So, he may know my name?" He then chuckled lightly. He then sat down on his plastic folded chair. Spectre then looked out in the distance and put on his shades. "Normally, I would feel betrayed but I don't." He looked at the rabbit and smiled. Judy was close enough to see his eyes. Although there was a friendly smile, there was no emotion behind it. She felt slightly perturbed by that fact, almost a bit uncomfortable. "Don't worry, he wouldn't let me."

"So, I get to live? What about in the park?"

"I didn't hurt you too much, did I? I just shown why I didn't want you. You've been out for too long." He stopped smiling and looked back out into the distance. Judy started to look out to the horizon as well. Spectre stood up and walked behind Judy. 'She betrayed us, we cannot trust her.' 'What? No, we can, it was unintentional.''You let emotion cloud your judgement, we must get rid off her, permanently.' He threw his paw forward to push but didn't touch her. Nick then took a few steps back and looked at his paw. "Let's discuss what you called me here for now." He answered almost sounding defeated. 'She could be the reason you diiiiieeee, Nicky. Hehehehe. And I will be there in your final moments to laugh in your face and say simply I told you so. Besides, what about Isamu.' 'We can trust him. He wouldn't tell anyone.' Spectre went silent, he didn't want to discuss that topic anymore since he wasn't in control at this very second.

"Right, Jack told me about the first time he saw you. You really pissed him off but why?"

"Why did I do what I did or why did I piss him off?"

"Preferably both."

"Fine, I pissed him off because he has a strong sense of moral justice while I have a really loose sense of justice and morality. So of course, one evil piece of shit will of course antagonise someone who sees himself as a paragon of justice. But he does let emotion cloud his actions half the time." He then laughed a bit. "Also, decided I should say hi to him because I knew he was watching. But, what you have to know is that 7 years ago he was a pencil pusher, he just shows that if you put your mind to something you can achieve it. Now, I'm pretty sure he is the biggest threat that the ZIA possesses in Zootopia. I can't speak for outside of Zootopia because different requirements. But I do think I struck a nerve with him when I used his brother's corpse to wave. But the mudafucker shouldn't have done what he did."

"What did he do?"

"He is the cunt that drove the car."

"What?"

"Simple, he killed my parents." He scoffed. "Deserved every bit of suffering he got."

"What about the one that you threw in front of a truck?"

"Well, he was the one that authorised, signed off on and gave the job. Oh, you thought it was wrong place wrong time? No, no no no. The reason I am who I am today is because that sonuva bitch killed my parents. As far as I am concerned, he deserved it." He then looked around and up in the sky. "It didn't help me at all. Sure the task gave direction but I still felt as hollow as I did before. So that was when I decided that emotion is useless. Sure I felt empty but who cares. Also yes, I realise the irony of being a hitmammal because a hitmammal killed my parents so I wanted to kill a hitmammal by being one. It was a simple act of fighting fire with fire." Unlike when Judy watched Jack's face and how it contorted to every emotion spilling out, Nick seemed to not be bothered by what he just said. The only thing he presented was apathy. "Wrath consumed me, and now I feel nothing, not even wrath. I think that it is a much better outcome."

"But it is okay to feel things."

"Slows you down."

"I'm not saying show it to the world or to anyone, I'm just saying, it's okay to feel and act stoic in front of other's."

"It's a distraction." Judy blinked rapidly in confusion. "It holds you back, preventing you from doing what you want."

"That's not true. You said it yourself, Jack is only in the position he is now because of emotion."

"No, it is because of revenge. It is a vicious cycle that I will stop."

"What do you mean?"

"If I get killed, what would happen?"

"I don't know. What?"

"Simple, it would be publicised then the whole underworld would be less scared. I have power due to the fear that I provide. I can kill practically anyone. No-one can stop me. So now imagine if that disappears. All of a sudden, many would start doing things that they wouldn't normally."

"So what?"

"Within that would be mammals that respect me, seeking something, something that has been ever present here."

"Revenge."

"Exactly. Do you think it would be healthy for society for me to die?"

"You wouldn't be killed."

"Bullshit, I would be given the death penalty almost instantly."

"I thought you were an amazing lawyer."

"Even the best have limits."

"The only limits we have are the ones we place on ourselves."

"Fucking what? That is the most stupid thing I have heard. Of course we have limits. Biological ones, such as a bear being faster than a fox or a rabbit being slower than a fox in a sprint. But there are also societal limitations, such as a rabbit being a police officer."

"Under normal circumstances."

"So he told you that as well. Does he not know how to keep his fucking mouth shut."

"Do you know why he told me?"

"Let me guess, to cause a rift between us so that you reveal a few things about me so that he can find me easier. He's tried this a few times. Never worked. Most didn't even know anything when asked." He laughed at the fact that he just stated. Then he suddenly stopped and looked at Judy. "Until you. But you didn't say anything did you." He smiled. "I'm glad you didn't because most don't give two shits about me and would stab me in the back first chance they get."

"Do you trust me?" Judy asked, and it felt as if a bomb just exploded in front of Nick.

"W-what? O-of course I trust you, why wouldn't I?"

"Well, you seem so secretive and as if you are trying to push me away. I mean, the first time we saw each other after my injury and you run away or walk away after almost flooring me and not even talking to me until I spoke."

"I" He sighed subtly. "I want to help you have a normal life. The moment I saw you lying there, I knew that you weren't built for this. I'm sorry, but you don't belong on this side of the fence."

"To hell with you deciding what's best for me. I can decide that I will be what I am now."

He stood for a second then replied softly."Really? What about you being an enforcer of the law? Do you think hanging out with the most wanted and most hated criminal will help you? I'm so bad that even the corrupt ones won't look away. The only ones outside of here that don't want me dead are the ones that pay for my skills. What do you think will happen if they find out about me helping you? You will be marked and killed. Do you want that?"

"Maybe I do? What then? You know I can protect myself."

"No, you can't. You were almost instantly taken out by that fool that broke your arm."

"You were almost taken out as well."

Nick started to react more aggressively, raising his voice. "But look at me. Do I look hurt? I'm completely fine. Everyone else has some injury. They try to hide it but it is there. Isamu, a slight limp and a slight pain in his wrist. Waller, his left eye is hurt, it can't see as far. Silver, his leg is also injured but he is also nursing a concussion. Shorty, he coughs up blood every so often but he will live. You, literally broken arm. What about me? What is wrong with me?"

Judy looked the fox up and down quickly. "Nothing." She finally answered defeatedly.

Nick calmed down and looked at the rabbit in front of him. He wanted to hug her but something inside stopped him. "I'm sorry, I didn't want to embarrass you like that."

"It's fine. You're right. I'll just leave and go back to Bunnyburrow." She started to walk to the stairs. Then Nick grabbed her arm to stop her.

"No, don't."

"Why? You keep wanting me to leave."

"Please stay." Judy looked up at the fox. She knew that the eloquent fox always had a reason but this was the one time he didn't. Then she remembered what Jack said "You're the only one he cares about." After a few minutes, he added something to what he said. "If you leave, no-one can protect you."

"I have a large family you know."

"I'm aware, just it doesn't mean anything if very few can fight."

"They wouldn't have to if I am going to not be marked."

Nick stood there silently. Then he turned away and sat on the edge of the building. "This makes sense. I'm only good at pushing others away. That's all I've ever done."

Judy then sat down next to him. "Don't worry, I'm not leaving." She then leaned on his arm, causing him to blush. "Thank you for everything."

He chuckled nervously, "Yeah, no problem. Anytime." He then turned fully serious. "But, what about Jack?"

"She then broke out of her train of thoughts. "What do you mean? What about him?"

"You gonna tell him why I did it or leave it at 'I am just insane and deserve to be put down.'?"

"Is it okay if I tell him?"

"Well, I respect him since he did what I thought was not possible for him to do."

"What are you referring to?"

"He has a record just like me but for the ZIA. He hasn't failed to neutralise a threat yet, be it a criminal a terrorist or a high ranking military official, he taken them all out, be it arrest or kill. Also, I believe he is better than Skye for the simple reason that he is willing to kill. He already crossed that line before, he would do it again to 'save the world' or as I put it, keep the balance in check."

"Okay, but that doesn't answer my question, should I?"

"That is up to you, but if I were in your shoes, I probably would but that is because I'm cynical."

"But it feels like betrayal."

"I wouldn't let it happen if I thought it was bad." He then, gently lifted Judy's head as he started to get up and leave.

When he left, Judy looked out into the distance and muttered to herself. "Stupid fox, I care for you too." She pulled out her phone and looked at the call button that she had for Jack Savage. She thought about whether she should press it or not.

A/N: That's it for this chapter. Hope you all enjoyed it, since it is much slower and more of a conversation.

It was going to happen eventually. Judy unsure what to do as she is caught between the clashing ideals of Spectre And Savage even though in reality Nick and Darren both see the world almost the same and act the same.

I stopped knowing what to write in this area since my life is quite boring in reality. I guess I watched Bullet Train and loved that movie. Hell, I might watch it again. I'm definitely taking some ideas from there to here.

Anyways, with that being said, I wish you all a good one and until next time see ya all.
