It was a very busy day in the Smith household as the entire family was packing and rushing around. Don't worry, they weren't moving house. They were flying down to Miami Florida for the week to visit Ray's parents. With how busy their lives were and with how far some of their families lived, it was hard for the pack to find time to visit them. The teens visiting their extended families was like an event that only happened every five years or so.

Unfortunately, it seemed that Ray was the only one who was looking forward to this vacation.

As Ray dumped his full suitcase on the sofa, he noticed he couldn't hear his family moving around. If they didn't get moving, they would be late and miss their flight.

"Come on you guys, let's go! I don't want to be late!" He shouted to his wife and children. "If we're late then my Mother's sukiyaki will be dry and overcooked!" He added as he shuddered at the thought. He loved his mother, but her food was questionable, to say the least. After he said that, he could hear all three of them rushing up.

"Yeah, and if we do make the flight her sukiyaki will be dry and overcooked." Maya groaned as she carried out her suitcase and dropped it next to Ray's. Her husband was shocked by her attitude towards this trip.

"Come on honey, what's with you?"

"I'm sorry, but going to Florida to visit your parents for a week is not exactly a dream vacation." She sighed. "Now if you and the kids went and I stayed here THAT would be a dream vacation." She smiled dreamily and Ray rolled his eyes.

"Relax, this is gonna be fun." He reassured her, but she wasn't convinced.

"What's the fun part? Eating your mother's disgusting food stuffed with other disgusting food or watching your father humiliate you and second guess every decision you've ever made in your entire life?" She asked with a frown as she vividly remember the last time Ray and his father were in a room together. It resulted in them wolfing out and attacking each other and ended with several stitches and two crying children. Ray hadn't visited his parents in years since then.

He only sent them letters and phone calls every holiday and birthday.

Maya hoped that that didn't happen this time and that the week could go smoothly. Kai and Nya had nightmares for weeks after that fight.

"Yeah, that, and the beach!" Ray smiled as he started looking for the passports.

"Honey, I know what's gonna happen; your father's gonna pick on you, and you're gonna keep it all bottled up inside, and then you're gonna pick on me!" Maya exclaimed in frustration. "That's not a vacation, we do that all year long!"

"But not on the beach!" Ray beamed brightly, but it dropped slightly when he saw how worried she was. "Don't worry, it's going to be great because this time I have a plan; this trip, I'm bulletproof." He laughed, but all that did was confuse her. "My Dad gets on my case about my job, I'm gonna tell him about the raise I just got; he teases me about my golf game, I'll tell him about the hole-in-one I got; he asks me about my marriage, I'm gonna say I got some on the plane in the bathroom." He smirked and she gave him an unimpressed look.

"What about Kai?" She whispered so their son wouldn't be able to hear.

"What about him?" Ray asked, genuinely confused.

"You know what your parents are like Ray, we have no idea how they'll treat him." She explained and Ray's eyes widened in realization. After Kai and Cole were found and Cole was allowed to return home, Ray, Lou, and Maya sat the couple down and talked things out. After that, they convinced their sons to tell the rest of their families. No one had said anything negative, but that might be because they didn't live in the same city. Kai was tough, but he also loved his grandparents.

Ray was worried that any hurtful comments from them might hurt the brunette.

Maya was scared it might cause her baby boy to run away again. Unfortunately, Ray wasn't ready to give up this opportunity to fly out to Florida and go to the beach.

"Come on honey, I want this trip to go well! Please tell me you're not gonna have a bad attitude all week." He all but begged.

"No, I promise, I won't! Mainly because I'll be drunk." Maya smiled happily as Ray rolled his eyes. "As of right now, I'm officially on vacation so don't expect me to do anything." She added before she went to their room to try and find those passports. As soon as she was gone, Kai walked into the living room and Ray frowned when he didn't see his son carrying any bags.

"Kai, where are your bags?"

"I-I don't wanna go." He stuttered fearfully.

"Come on, it's Florida! Everybody wants to go to Florida!" Ray cried in disbelief.

"Look, Dad, you know I'm afraid of flying."

"Are you still on that? What are you afraid of?"

"Terrorists, bird strikes, engine failure, getting so scared I wolf out?" He listed, getting more and more freaked out as he thought about it.

"First of all; the Smith family doesn't get attacked by terrorists, bird strikes, or engine failure! We get attacked by heart disease and kidney stones!" Ray glared at the teen. "Secondly; we are bringing some potions Misako and Master Wu brewed up to calm your nerves just in case." He promised and Kai relaxed a little. "Now go and get ready!" He ordered and Kai sulked off to his room to pack his suitcase. As Ray checked his phone to see when the cab was arriving, Nya stormed out of her room.

She had a face of thunder and all but threw her suitcase with Ray and Maya's.

"I hate stupid Florida!" She snarled as she slumped on the couch.

"What are you talking about?! Florida is great! They have Parrot Land and Disneyworld and great beaches!" Ray exclaimed, getting more and more desperate for his family to enjoy this trip.

"You don't understand Dad! Jay and I are working on our robotics project for school, and you know Jay, he's a smart guy but he gets distracted easily." She groaned in annoyance, dreading leaving Jay alone for a week.

"Oh, why didn't you say so in the first place sweetie? TRIP'S CANCELED!" He shouted to Maya and Kai. "Alright, everybody, get in here now! We're gonna have a little chat!" He called and soon his whole family was gathered in the living room. "I'm only gonna say this one time, I want to go down there and I want to have the best vacation ever and I want to show him what a loving, terrific, and beautiful family I have."

"Oh my God, you have another family?" Kai gasped and this got him a smack to the head from Nya...

After his little pep talk and making sure they had everything packed, Ray finally managed to drag his family to the airport. They soon found themselves at the security station, but things weren't going as smoothly as Ray was hoping. Maya had hardly said two words to him since they left the apartment, content with just reading a magazine she had gotten from a store in the airport. Nya was busy texting on her phone, probably messaging Jay about their project of something.

Kai was reading their tickets and was starting to freak out.

He was sat in the middle row with his father and Maya and Nya were sat in the right row. It was like his parents remembered his fears and deliberately picked the seats that would cause him more anxiety.

"I can't believe this, we're practically at the back of the plane Dad!" He exclaimed fearfully. "What if there are fat people on board and we crash and burn?! I could lose valuable time climbing over the humongous smoking corpses!"

"Would you say something to your son please?" Ray all but begged his wife, but she looked uninterested.

"Oh hello there, I'm Maya Smith, I'm single with no children and I'm. On. Vacation." She emphasized to her son and husband and returned her attention to her magazine. Ray sighed heavily and knew he would have to deal with this.

"Just relax, you have nothing to worry about." He reassured the brunette as he placed their bags on the conveyor belt and walked through the metal detector. After successfully making their way through security the Smith family boarded the plane and took their seats. Things seemed to be going well until they got into the air. They were halfway to Florida and the brunette was starting to panic again.

"What was that noise?" He whimpered as his breathing and heartbeat started speeding up. "Oh my God, Dad I-I think it's the engines!"

"What noise? I don't hear anything?" Ray frowned at his son's paranoia. Upon his father's words, Kai took several deep breaths to calm his nerves and physically relaxed.

"You're right, there's no noise." He sighed in relief as he relaxed into his seat. The moment of peace didn't last long, however. "Wait, why's there no noise? Oh my God, it is the engines! D-D-Dad I can't breathe! I need to get off this plane!" The brunette gasped as he started to hyperventilate. Ray could swear he saw Kai's amber eyes flash yellow for a second and he too began to panic. If Kai wolfed out on the plane he could attack the passengers.

He wanted to tear the guys at the security to shreds for taking their potions for the kids.

He had to think of something or else they would have an out-of-control, terrified wolf running around the plane.

"Drink some of this, it'll calm your nerves." He suggest and handed Kai a tiny vial of vodka.

"Ray, you can't give him vodka." Maya hissed when she saw what was happening.

"Well, we need to do something he's freaking out." He tried to explain.

"I already gave him half a Xanax." She said and held up the bottle. When she said that, Ray's eyes widened and he turned to see Kai chugging down the small vial of vodka. He quickly pulled the vial out of his son's iron grip, only to see it was empty.

"You know what, I think I'm starting to feel better." Kai giggle lightly as he gave his father a big, goofy smile. Ray gulped and turned to look at Maya, who looked ready to kill him.

"Well, on the plus side, during his first experience with drugs and alcohol we're here to hold his hand." Ray laughed nervously and he gripped Kai's hand, slightly scared of his wife at that moment...

After another couple of hours of awkward flying, the plane finally arrived in Miami Florida and the Smith family quickly got off. Thankfully, the Xanax and liquor hadn't done must to Kai except make him sleepy and a little loopy and it had mostly worn off by the time they landed. They soon got their bags and were on their way to Ray's parents' house. It looked the same as Ray and Maya remembered it. A knot formed in Ray's stomach as he remembered the last time he was in that house.

Maya was also a little worried and hoped this visit worked out better than the last time they were here.

Kai and Nya did want to see their grandparents again, but they were also looking forward to heading for the beach. From the outside, the house looked impressive. It had been built with white stones and had yellow pine wooden decorations. Tall, rectangular windows brightened up the house. The house was equipped with a large kitchen and one bathroom. It had a lot of Asian decors. It also had a cozy living room, four bedrooms, a large dining area, a lounge area, and a cozy garage.

The second floor was smaller than the first.

The roof was high and slanted to one side and was covered with grey wood shingles. Two large chimneys poked out the center of the roof. The roof terrace let in plenty of light to the rooms below. The house itself was surrounded by a well-kept garden, with a grass field and flower patches at the edges of the garden. Around the back of the house was a small walk away that led down to the beach. Sat inside the house, Hotaru Smith was watching his shows while his wife Emica was cooking in the kitchen.

Hotaru Smith had medium-length black, slightly greying hair that was thinning with brown eyes.

He wore a dark maroon polo shirt, white pants, and black dress shoes. He used to own a metalwork and repair shop in Ninjago City before he retired. Then he and Emica moved to Florida to settle down and relax. Emica Smith was a natural beauty in her youth, with dark brown eyes and straight, grey hair that was long and waist-length. In many pictures Kai and Nya had seen, her hair used to be black as coal. She wore a dress consisting of a green long-sleeved shirt with olive brims and both yellow skirts.

It had an inside shirt with a low-cut neckline, blue wrap, a red waistband, and black ballet flats.

Emica met Hotaru in Japan when she was performing as kabuki. She was rushing to make it to the performance and as she was running, she accidentally ran into him. Seeing how worried she was about missing the performance, Hotaru offered to drive her there since he was already on his way to the theater anyway. After the successful show, they talked some more and became penpals when he returned to Ninjago. It took a few years and hundreds of letters, but eventually, Hotaru returned to Japan and proposed to Emica.

They quickly married and returned to Ninjago, and the rest was history.

Hotaru picked up his family's scent before they knocked, and he groaned lightly. As soon as one of them pressed the doorbell, it was like someone had given Emica a shot of adrenaline.

"Hotaru! They're here! They're here!" She squealed loudly as she rushed to the door.

"I hear it Emica! I'm not deaf! Even though I pray for it every day." Hotaru grumbled as she answered the door, revealing their son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.

"Hello, my sweeties!" She cried in joy and quickly embraced her family.

"Ah, the joys of my life!" Hotaru smiled as he gave Maya and the teens a hug as well.

"Oh Nya you look gorgeous, it's like looking in a mirror." Emica giggled and Nya couldn't help but blush. She and Kai knew that their grandmother was a very pretty young lady.

"Not only is she beautiful but thanks to her grades, the school thinks she's got a great chance at getting a scholarship to many amazing colleges," Ray explained as he patted his daughter on the back, feeling very proud and wanting to impress his father.

"Good for you my dear, you know your brains come from my side of the family." Hoteru smiled as he kissed his only granddaughter on the cheek. "Skipped a generation, didn't it son?" He laughed at Ray.

"Kinda like losing your hair?" Ray shot back and Hoteru chuckled.

"Kai, you look so handsome! Just like your father when he was your age." Emica beamed as she examined her grandson. He and Nya were only up to her waist the last time they were all together and it was hard to believe how much they had changed. Sure she had been sent plenty of pictures and occasionally spoke on the phone with them, but it was very different seeing them in person after so many years.

"Thanks, Grandma," Kai replied as he hugged the old woman.

"Hey Kai, we got you a little present, we saw it and immediately thought of you." Hoteru suddenly said and handed the brunette a bag. Kai gave his grandparents a little thank you, but quickly regretted it when he saw the gift. He pulled it out and his family, minus his grandparents, were shocked at what it was. It was a hot pink tank top with the word Drag Queen printed on it in big, purple, curvy, glittery letters. There were many different reactions.

Ray and Maya were trying to hide their anger.

Nya looked like she was trying to keep from laughing. Kai looked stuck between laughing, confusion, or angry. All the teen could do was laugh awkwardly as he put the shirt back in the bag.

"Um... thanks Grandpa, I'll send Cole a picture of it."

"It that your boyfriend or someone from one of those clubs?" Emica asked and the atmosphere suddenly got a lot more awkward.

"No, he's my boyfriend," Kai said and pulled out his phone to show them a picture. "That's Cole Brookstone and that's Nya's boyfriend, Jay Walker." He said and pointed them out.

"They seem nice."

"So, who'd like a drink?" The eldest Smith asked.

"I'll just have vodka," Maya said and Ray rolled his eyes.

"Can we get some drinks?" Kai asked, hoping some more vodka would allow him to forget this interaction.

"Sure, I don't see the harm in a little cider." Hoteru shrugged and went to pour the drinks.

"What?! Roberta's grandson started drinking at their age and the next thing you know he's on heroin!" Emica cried and looped her arms around her grandchildren, almost as if she was about to pull them out of a fire.

"Relax Emica, a little cider won't do them any harm," Maya replied and had to all but pry her children out of her mother-in-law's grip. Emica chose not to push the subject and went to check on the food.

"So who's hungry? I'm making sushi, ramen, unagi, tempura, and kaiseki."

"I'm not too hungry Mother, I'm still trying to digest what I ate the last time I was here." Ray chuckled lightly, but she didn't think it was too funny.

"Who cares if you're hungry? I spent a long time making this meal so you'll eat it!" She growled and Ray gulped, a little scared of his mother.

"I'm gonna go watch my show." His father groaned and retook his spot on the couch. The teens took that moment to sneak off upstairs to their rooms to dump their bags and settle in for the rest of the week.

"I swear, he's having an affair with the television; if it's not a show about the Holocaust, it's a show about animals," Emica complained to her family. "If they ever do a documentary on Hitler's pet he'll be in heaven."

"Just watching the Ticker, honey." He replied. "Hey Ray, come on over here, let me asking you something." He said and Ray reluctantly sat next to his father. "So, how's the stock market treating you? You don't know what it's doing do you?"

"N-No, I know what it's doing."

"Oh yeah? What's the dow at right now?" He asked and Ray started to panic a little.

"It's... uh... it's up, it's down, it's all around." He joked weakly.

"Ten thousand, one hundred and eighty-four."

"Right, I know that, everybody knows that."

"Aha! It's eleven thousand, sixty-two! I was testing you failed, miserably, just like college." He ranted before turning to Maya and Emica. "You know what he majored in at Green Meadows College? Disappointing me!" He laughed loudly and Ray held in a growl.

"Haha, that's my favorite joke of your's Dad, that one never gets old." He chuckled through gritting teeth. "Did I tell you I got a little raise at work?"

"Really? That's wonderful." He nodded and for a second, Ray felt happy. "Then maybe you can return some of the money you borrowed from me?" He asked and that happiness inside Ray was snuffed out. Just then Kai and Nya returned to the living room with Kai in a crimson speedo and Nya in a grey and blue bikini.

"We're heading down to the beach, give us a shout when the food's ready," Kai told the adults before he and his sister walked out the back, sliding glass door that led right down to the Florida beach.

"So the kids will be going off to college pretty soon right?" Hoteru asked his son.

"Yeah, Nya's planning on majoring in engineering and Kai wants to study hair and beauty."

"I thought he wanted to be a professional soccer player?" Emica frowned, remembering all those letters they received telling them how well Kai's soccer team was doing and how many championships they had won.

"That was when he was like nine years old Emica," Maya replied, her grip her vodka glass a little tighter.

"Well, I suppose there are plenty of successful gay hairdressers; they spend so much time looking in mirrors it's no wonder they know so much about hair and makeup." Hoteru shrugged and Maya almost choked on her drink and Ray felt the wolf inside him clawing away inside him. "Just out of curiosity, what did you do with all that money I gave you for their education? Did you invest it?" He asked and Ray started to worry.

"Um... well, you see-"

"You opened up a savings account, didn't you?" He glared. "You know what I should have done with that money? I should have burned it in the street; would've generated more interest than your savings account will." He huffed and Ray was almost certain his eyes had turned yellow. Maya nervously glanced at the men, scared a fight was about to break out. "Did you buy that pharmaceutical stock I asked you to?"

"I don't remember Dad." Ray shrugged.

"Nobody forgets quadrupling their money, so my guess is you didn't do it?" He laughed bitterly and Ray was close to snapping.

"Alright Dad, listen, I'm not kidding! One more word about money or stocks or investing and I'm walking out the door." He warned and the entire room descended into a very awkward silence, everyone too scared to speak in case it set something off. "So, Dad, h-how's your golf game?" Ray asked, growing more and more uncomfortable.

"It's going good, played a game with Mike down the road the other day." He replied before a mischievous smirk cracked across her face. "He bought the pharmaceutical stock and it tripled his money." He added and that was the straw that finally broke the camel's back.

"THAT'S IT!" He screamed and ran to the back door. "KIDS, GET YOUR ASSES UP HERE NOW! WE'RE GOING!" He shouted to Kai and Nya who had only just reached the beach.

"Come on Ray, you're being crazy," Maya said, not wanting to give up on this vacation yet. True, she didn't want to come here at first, but now that they were here she wanted it to work out with Ray and his parents.

"MAYA, GO PACK YOUR BAGS!"

"Pack?! We didn't even unpack!" She cried, but this didn't phase her husband and he just grabbed the bags still sitting in the hallway. "We're not leaving we just got here!"

"What's going on?" Nya exclaimed as she and Kai came running into the room, still in their swimsuits.

"We're leaving!"

"Come on, what's wrong with you?" Hoteru huffed at his son's antics.

"Apparently everything!" He shouted at the older werewolf as his eyes glowed yellow and his veins darkened. "I can't walk right, I don't talk right, I can't invest right, I can't raise my kids right, nothing I do is right!"

"You're finally saying something I can agree with!"

"Stop it!" Emica scolded her husband, not wanting her family to leave after not seeing them for so long. "Ray, don't listen to him! Your father doesn't know what he's talking about!"

"I know if they listened to me in the first place Kai wouldn't be queer and Nya wouldn't be dating a limp noodle." He shrugged and that set Kai and Nya off. They may love and respect their grandparents, but they wouldn't allow anyone to insult their boyfriends. Especially when Cole and Jay weren't here to defend themselves.

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!?" Kai roared as his and Nya's veins darkened and their eyes also turned yellow.

"DON'T YOU EVER INSULT MY BOYFRIEND, OR KAI'S, WHEN YOU HAVEN'T EVEN MET THEM!" Nya shouted, but Hoteru wasn't about to let these teenagers talk to him like that in his own house.

"DON'T TALK BACK TO ME YOU CUBS!" He snarled as his eyes and veins also changed along with his teeth and nails.

"WE'RE NOT CUBS ANYMORE!" Both teens shouted and the living room was filled with angry snarls and growls, all four werewolves were very close to wolfing out completely and tearing each other to shreds.

"STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT!" Maya suddenly screamed as she ran in between her husband and children and Hoteru, not ready to witness another bloody fight. At her sudden outburst, all four werewolves calmed down enough that their features returned to human, but Ray wasn't about to let it drop completely.

"In case you hadn't noticed, I'm a grown man!" He shouted at both his parents. "I have a nice, successful career, I have a few friends, I have a great pack in Ninjago City, I have some money in the bank, and for your information, I got some in the bathroom on an airplane today!" He listed and Maya rolled her eyes at the last statement while Kai and Nya shared a look of confusion and disgust at that image now in their minds. Hoteru didn't look impressed and Emica just wanted them to stop fighting.

"But more importantly I have a wife and two kids who love me and would do anything in the world for me! Now let's get going!" He shouted and Kai and Nya also grabbed their bags to leave.

"Come on, you're going to regret this." Maya tried one last time to keep the peace.

"Fine, then stay here with my parents all by yourself." Ray glared before he and the teens stormed out. Maya only lasted about three seconds before she gulped down the rest of her vodka and grabbed her bags as well, chasing after her husband and children...

After the fight, the rest of the Smith family headed straight for the airport and Ray was now waiting to be seen about changing their tickets at the last minute. Kai and Nya were on their phones, texting their friends back in Ninjago City about what a disaster their Florida vacation had gone. Kai had posted a picture of the shirt his grandparents on their group chat. The reactions were mostly the same as they had been with his family. Both teens couldn't wait to be home and forget all about this.

"Why do we have to leave Florida?" Maya groaned when Ray returned after speaking to someone about their tickets.

"Because I told my father that we were going home and if we don't he wins." He snapped and decided to go grab something to eat from a vending machine. Kai saw how upset his father was and couldn't help but feel a little guilty. Casting a look at his sister and mother, he sighed and followed after the older werewolf.

"Hey, Dad."

"What is it, Kai?" Ray asked, sounding incredibly irritated.

"Are you upset with me?" He asked nervously, unable to meet his father's gaze. This caught Ray off guard, to say the least.

"What? Why would you think that?"

"Because you were so desperate to impress Grandpa and... I don't know! I just feel like me being gay gave him another reason to diss you." The brunette tried to explain, growing more and more uncomfortable by the second. What he wasn't expecting, however, was Ray suddenly pulling him into a tight hug. They stayed like that for a few moments until Ray pulled away to look Kai in the eyes.

"Listen, Kai, your grandpa has always been an asshole to me, ever since I was a kid," Ray said as a lump formed in his throat. "First I wasn't the smartest kid in school, next it was not staying in the family business, then it was falling in love with your mother."

"But I thought they like Mom?"

"Most of the time they do, but back then they hated the fact that I was dating an exchange student from Barcelona." He shuddered as he recalled the fights with them when he was around Kai and Nya's age. "It only got worse after you and your sister were born; if my Dad wasn't criticizing my parenting, it was my mother lecturing Maya and making her second guess every decision she made and just making her feel like a bad mother; but it all exploded when you two were five years old."

"What happened when we were five years old?"

"My Dad tried to convince me to send you both to a private, expensive boarding school near Alaska." He chuckled bitterly. "We said no because it was way too far away for our liking and we didn't have the money at the time; my Dad then went on a rant about our failure as parents and how not only would you both turn out stupid and also failures, but that you would also hate us for not giving you the best of the best."

"WHAT?!" Kai screeched in shock and horror, but Ray didn't react to his outburst. Instead, he just placed a firm hand on the teen's shoulder and looked him dead in the eye.

"Kai, listen, I know we haven't been the best parents, especially recently, but know that your mother and I love you very much and if you or your sister do end up hating us, just know we won't hold it against you both and we won't be surprised if you never visit." He explained, only to be shocked when Kai suddenly gave him a hug of his own.

"How can you say that?! You may not always understand me but I know that you and Mom will always be there to support me when I need it and that's all I ask!" He exclaimed as he hugged his dad as tight as he could. Just then, while hugging his son and after getting most of his stress out, Ray suddenly had an epiphany. This was never about impressing his father. The real reason he had pushed so hard for this vacation was that he wanted to build bridges with his old man and he wasn't going to give up on that dream yet.

He also wanted to give his wife and children a great week.

That and the beach that was practically on the back doorstep. With that in mind, Ray patted his son on the back and went to tell Nya and Maya the good news. As he approached them, he could see and hear his daughter talking on the phone with Jay about what time they would be back. He pulled the cellphone out of her grip and lifted it to his ear.

"Bad news Jay, Nya, and Kai are staying in Florida." He said before hanging up and turning to his wife. "We're going back to my parents' house."

"What? Why?"

"I don't want to leave things this way." He shrugged as he motioned for the kids to grab the bags. "I mean, just because he's a jerk doesn't mean that I have to be one and ruin my family's vacation."

"Oh honey, I'm proud of you." Maya smiled and gave Ray and kiss and hug. Ray just smiled, not telling her that he just learned it would cost them a small fortune. He should have bought that pharmaceutical stock. After making sure they had all their bags, the Smith family began to head back to Hoteru and Emica's house. Just as they stepped out of the airport, however, all four of them were shocked to see the elderly couple about to enter the airport, two suitcases by their sides.

"What are you doing here?" Emica gasped.

"Wh-What are YOU doing here?" Ray countered.

"You missed your plane, didn't you? Typical!" Hoteru scoffed.

"No, for your information I decided to stay so I could apologize to you and be the bigger man," Ray smirked, feeling very proud of himself.

"But we're flying to Ninjago City so he can apologize to you," Emica replied and Ray's smirk fell as Hoteru's grew.

"That's right, so I'm the bigger man." He laughed before taking his wife's hand. "Emica, come on or we're gonna miss our plane." He smiled smugly and everyone turned to Ray.

"Maya, we're going back to my parents' house." He said, but this just confused everyone.

"Hotaru/Ray this is crazy, I AM NOT GOING!" Maya and Emica shouted at their husbands.

"Emica, it's first-class with all the wine you can drink." Hoteru purred and after thinking about it for a minute, Emica smiled and grabbed the bags. "You're not the only one who can get it on an airplane, son." He added with a laugh before the couple headed into the airport to catch their flight.

"You're just gonna let them leave?!" Maya cried.

"Let them go, don't you see? They're going to Ninjago, we're gonna in Florida for a week without my parents." He replied and Maya and the teens all grinned when they realized what he was getting at. "This is gonna be the best vacation ever."...

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Alright people, I am going to start introducing the pack's extended family(meaning grandparents, uncles, aunties, and cousins), please let me know what you think of that idea and which family you want to see next!
