Lincoln was jumping from building to building
he had memorized overhaul's scent and was hunting him down
soon he found him hiding in an alleyway
"sup shitstain." Lincoln said
overhaul looked up and saw Lincoln
"ace savy." Overhaul said "I'm surprised you're here considering you're weakened thanks to your battle with all might."
"I'm always there to make sure scum like you doesn't get away from punishment." Lincoln said as he tightened his grip on his spear
"heh at least you saved me the effort of having to kill you later!" Overhaul said as he lunged at Lincoln
overhaul managed to touch Lincoln's mask but Lincoln's mask got knocked off
"y-you're the one who took Eri!" Overhaul said "the one who stopped the yakuza from returning to it's former glory!"
"yup and by the way I let you do that to my mask." Lincoln said picking his mask up
"why?" Overhaul asked
"so I would have a good reason to kill you." Lincoln said as he put his mask back on
overhaul lunged at Lincoln again but this time missed entirely as his body got slashed by his spear
"you bastard!" Overhaul said "I'll make you-"
suddenly a hand appeared from nowhere and touched his face with it's palm
for a moment no one moved
then out of the blue that part of overhaul's face exploded in a shower of blood leaving blood and brains on the ground
overhaul's body fell over dead as can be
"o-oh shit." Lincoln said "I better leave!"
Lincoln jumped up and ran to rooftop to rooftop before eventually finding a place where he could take off his mask
"okay well it least someone did the job for me." Lincoln said as he put his mask back into his worm
he walked back onto the streets
(okay time to act natural) Lincoln thought to himself
he then saw a silver haired boy walking around the street
he looked about 7 years old and had stitches on his body
(it's pretty late why the heck is a kid here?) Lincoln thought to himself as he walked over
"uh hey where are your parents?"
the boy turned to him
"I dunno." The boy said "I don't remember them."
"then what do you remember?" Lincoln asked
"I'll accept it mahito, I am you."
"my name is Mahito." Mahito said "and that's about it."
mahito stared at the worm on Lincoln's shoulders
"whatcha looking at?" Lincoln asked
"nothing." Mahito said
suddenly a yell ran out
"VILLAIN ATTACK!" Someone yelled
"kid get somewhere safe!" Lincoln yelled before running into a nearby alley
mahito laughed
"he's silly thinking I don't know who he is." Mahito said "he's a hero."
mahito quickly gave pursuit
with Lincoln
Lincoln put his mask back on and climbed up the side of the building
he ran on roof tops before finding the street where the attack was happening
he saw 4 villains attacking civilians
then one noticed him
"get him!" The villain yelled before throwing a boulder at him
he easily blocked the boulder with playful cloud
suddenly someone ran past him
it was mahito
mahito jumped off the building and put his hand on the boulder villain's face
then the villain's body contorted and bent in unnatural ways until it was in the shape of a hammer
the other villains watched in horror
then with his incredible hearing Lincoln heard a 5th villain
"Abort mission! There's an Incredibly powerful quirk user here!" The villain said
mahito heard him too as he stretched his arm and grabbed the hidden villain and turned him into a second hammer
"w-what the hell are you?" One of the 3 remaining villains asked
"I am...I truly am...a CURSE!!!"
"a curse." Mahito said before charging in
two of the villains immediately got their heads caved in by the bodies of their allies
then one villain managed to use their fire quirk on mahito
the hammers were burned away and mahito's body was burned to the point where you could see his muscles
then his body began to bend in unnatural ways as the burns healed
"y-you're a monster..." the villain said horrified at mahito's actions
but instead of denying it or saying "pot meet kettle" or something like that he instead said
"yup!"
Before grabbing him and making him explode
(that's what happened to overhaul!) Lincoln thought to himself (so he must've done it...)
"hehehe! that was fun!" Mahito said having genuinely enjoyed murdering the villains
then the police showed up
"freeze!" They said "don't move!"
mahito looked at Lincoln and gave him a wink before putting his hands up
Lincoln took that as a sign to leave
after jumping over a couple buildings he ended up back at the safe house and climbed through a window
however it just so happened to be Eri's room
"mr. Lincoln why are you wearing that mask?" Eri asked
"uhhh who's Lincoln?" Lincoln asked
"mr. Lincoln I see the worm." Eri said point at previously mentioned worm
(I forgot about that.) Lincoln thought to himself "yes. Eri it's me."
"why are you wearing that mask?" Eri asked
"because I'm a vigilante." Lincoln said "and I wanted to make sure overhaul would never hurt you again."
"is he dead?" Toga said upon entering the room
"yeah but not by my hand." Lincoln said "it was-"
then Lincoln's phone began to ring
"hello." Lincoln said
"young Lincoln. It's all might." All might said
"hey! did you get him?" Lincoln asked
"overhaul was killed." All might said "we found his body in an alleyway."
"well damn. well can't say the bastard didn't have it coming." Lincoln said "any suspects?"
"we actually have the murderer." All might said "the thing is they're a child."
"oh really?" Lincoln said trying to sound genuinely surprised
"yes they're an O.P.C like Eri but their quirk is undetectable." All might said before someone in the background asked him something"the O.P.C.D agent here asked if you would be willing to take him in."
"sure." Lincoln said while thinking (I don't want him revealing my identity as ace savy)
"great! We will bring him to your place soon. You will be out of witness protection at the end of the week." All might said before hanging up
"well at least with the cash I'll be able to get us an apartment." Lincoln said
"what was that call about?" Toga asked
"you know how I was talking about who killed overhaul?" Lincoln asked
toga nodded
"well he's a kid and I'm adopting him." Lincoln said
"WHAT?!?" Toga yelled
In that unknown facility all for one was angry, impressed and curious all at once
angry because his men were unable to find the location of ace savy or his identity and were killed by a CHILD of all things
impressed because of said child killing with no remorse even acknowledging himself as a monster or a "curse"
and finally, curious because of this child's power to transform living organisms into other things and even make them explode
"the child's quirk isn't visible and is extremely powerful." All for one said "he also doesn't flinch at murder he could be a great ally."
he laughed before saying "the plot thickens."
the next day
early in the morning mahito was at their front door
"hello." Lincoln said
"hey there Mr.Lincoln!" Mahito said
after Lincoln filled out the paper work mahito went see Eri
"hello there!" Mahito said
"u-uh hi?" Eri said
"I'm mahito nice to meet you!" Mahito "we're living together now so want to hang out?"
"why would you hang out with a curse like me..." Eri began
"you're a curse?! Wow we're more alike than I thought!" Mahito said
Eri was a confused
"what do you mean?" Eri asked
"I'm a curse too!" Mahito said
"Thanks to the hate spewed between humans...I was born."
"but I don't what I manifested from." Mahito said "the hatred of humans is what I keep hearing."
"what do you hear?" Eri asked
"voices from my past life." Mahito said "as a TRUE curse."
"well then I guess we're both cursed." Eri said
"that's not necessarily a bad thing!" Mahito said "I mean look what I can do."
mahito coughed up a small coloured thing
"this is a transfigured human." Mahito said "don't worry I used a criminal."
mahito then used the rest of the next hour to explain his abilities
Lincoln over heard their conversation and was a little concerned
"well at least they're getting along." Lincoln said to himself "but we're definitely getting mahito therapy."
and maybe with these two he would have to retire from bounty hunting
suddenly his phone rang
he picked it up
"hello?" Lincoln said
"hello there mister loud." The voice said on the other side "or should I say ace savy."
"what do you want?" Lincoln asked
"I want a favour but for now allow me to introduce myself I am nezu the principal of UA." Nezu said "you have a sister. toga was it?"
"you better not sabotage her! she goes into U.A two years from now." Lincoln said
"quite the contrary I want you teaching there." Nezu said "your skills are impressive despite being quirkless and it would give good lessons to our students about not underestimating their opponents."
"you do know I'm like 14 right?" Lincoln asked
"well you are raising two children now." Nezu said
"fair enough. when do you want me to come in?" Lincoln asked
"when toga does." Nezu said "and bring mahito I will need to give them a lesson on O.P.C's."
"you're a sadist aren't you?" Lincoln asked
"Yup!" Nezu said "See you in two years!"
and then nezu hung up
"ugh son of a bitch." Lincoln said
