. . . . .

Though Rin was allowed a leave from working at Konoha Hospital, she still spent quite a bit of her time there. Usually that time was spent by herself or with one of her mentors, Kiisu and Nonou. This time, Obito was by her side, and she wasn't looking for her mentors. Firamon was in the Uchiha district, and Lunamon was hidden in the shadows as she always was.

"We think we can help Kiisu." She said, staring at the book she was holding like she was bored.

Takahashi Shiro and Fara looked at her. They were both on break. It took Rin quite a while to realize that Shiro, Fara, Hanku, Naginata, Hato and Kiisu all knew each other, but when she did, things clicked into place. She originally wasn't going to say anything, but now she was glad she did. Gai had used the information to somehow get Lord Jiraiya to help them.

Obito looked at her in confusion for a moment, before he too nodded. "We will."

Shiro was the unofficial leader of their civilian medic shindig. Hanku provided the food and the backing of a shinobi clan to the table. Everyone else brought their own abilities. With his speciality in mental health care, Naginata was the one everyone liked. Fara was the woman version of the one everyone liked, which made her the easier option to speak to other women and girls. Shiro and his story served as inspiration that everyone had a purpose on the planet, even if they didn't know what that purpose was. Unfortunately, Shiro wasn't a likable person if you didn't know him personally, so Naginata and Fara picked it up and spread it to anyone who needed to hear. Hato was good with the changing technology as times went on, and kept the others up to date with the ongoings of things behind the scenes.

"Kiisu doesn't need the kind of help you can provide. Leave him to us." Shiro pursed his lips together, in a futile attempt to make Rin and Obito hush.

Obito immediately understood what Rin meant when she had told him. He let Rin speak, because what Rin and Lunamon uncovered was absolutely ridiculous.

"Someone ordered Kiisu-"

Fara slapped a hand over Rin's mouth. She looked back at Shiro. "She's still speaking."

Shiro packed up his and Fara's food. "Shut up, shinobi." The man spoke, referring to Rin.

Rin looked at him with a mix of determination, annoyance and amusement. She folded her arms around her book. Shiro led them to a small out of the way office. Obito wondered if it was one of his. It only had a bookshelf full of books, a desk and a chair. That was all the space available in it.

"Close the door behind you." Shiro requested as he took a seat at the desk. Fara took a seat on the desk itself.

Rin did so and took a seat in the only other chair in the room. Obito made himself comfortable next to her.

"What did he tell you?"

"Nothing." Rin replied in a sing-song voice, almost rocking back and forth on her sandals.

"So what do you know?"

Rin looked down at her book. "Kiisu somehow got the great idea to sweet talk Lady Tsunade's personal apprentice Madam Shizune, goaded her into revealing all she learned from Lady Tsunade and thensome, and then threw her away when she had no more information to give him. When he realized what he had done, he didn't like that he had done it, and went to one of you to help him. You guys gave him a space to store all the information, goaded the Third Hokage into keeping it as purely medical information that was property of Konoha Hospital and gave Kiisu the task to guard it as atonement."

Obito looked at Rin. "What the hell? You didn't tell me all that. That's Ino-Shika-Cho tactics! T&I crap!" He hissed.

"But Konoha Hospital doesn't do T&I, and Kiisu is just a medic nin." Rin pressed a finger to her lips. "Which means he didn't get the idea, someone told him to. He's hiding away in Konoha hospital so he's not punished."

"His actions were a direct attack on the Senju clan, right?" Obito tapped a hand against the armrest of his chair. Working with the Military Police made a lot of things taught at the ninja academy make sense, and Obito wasn't sure if he was glad the work helped him understand.

Shiro nodded. "Pretty much the equivalent of marking yourself a missing nin from Konoha. Kiisu's end for initiating it, Shizune's for falling prey to it. So what do you need, Little Rin? If you think there's actually anything you and your team can do."

Rin looked down at her book. "First, we need a place where we can work in private. Then we can say the rest."

. . . . .

A/N: If I didn't say it before, I suppose now is a good time to reveal it. Kisu means Keith; Hato means Pigeon; Hanku means Hunk; Takashi can go by another name, Shiro; Naginata was the first thing I thought of when trying to fit in the name Lance; and Fara's a princess. These are the names of characters from "Voltron: Legendary Defender (the Netflix version). I haven't watched it because mechs in space shows don't interest me. Mainly because I think Mechs in Space shows should be about mechs in space, not the drama between the characters in said mechs. No one writes such shows how I want to see them. -shrug- At any rate, I only know bits and pieces about the show as a result. They were just the first names I thought of when I needed some OCs. Heard and read about the show so often while it was fresh and new.

Though they share similar/the same names, they are original characters from my 2020 Rewrite Version of 'Just a Survivor'. They serve the same exact purpose there as well. Since 'Just a Survivor' is on permanent hiatus, I placed them here.
