Chapter 4: Friendship Gets Tested.

Kevin Levin was many things: a delinquent, troublemaker, sure. But despite all the bad things people labelled him, he still wasn't a bad guy. Sure, he would break the rules on occasion, but he's a teenager—who wouldn't?

Right now, he was in a dark room.

"Dear Kevin..."

He turned to the voice that echoed throughout the room, the voice always goaded him, always told him to absorb, to take. It was like a hunger that begged for itself to be fulfilled.

"I sense power... Power that you can't imagine." The voice sounded ecstatic.

"Go away. Leave me alone, " Kevin growled in annoyance.

"Why do you hold yourself back? We are strong. We should not -"

"Shut it!" Kevin shouted to the void. "I know what you are a little present from dear old Dad! I'm happy that bastard is dead! And whatever you are, I'm not going to be like him! A person who takes, and takes, I refuse to be like that demon!"

The voice just chuckled in amusement as the place began to grow darker the walls closing in as a hand erupted holding him down as a hand as one began to approach he struggled, in place as then...

He woke up with a jolt as he woke up in a cold sweat and breathed heavily, grasping his face in fear.

It's been a full week since Izuku discovered the Omnitrix. He'd been training regularly. Izuku had informed All Might about the dojo learning some martial arts. All Might found the idea to be splendid. Before, they were on a tight schedule, but now, with the Omnitrix, All Might could fit some martial arts training.

Now, he had been standing in front of the dojo shaking like a leaf in the wind. Izuku took a deep breath before walking into the dojo. He looked around at the dojo, and immediately, the smell of sweat flooded his senses.

Izuku looked as if people were in combat with one another...

"Oh, Midoriya, you made it." The voice of Itsuka Kendo came as she walked up to him with an old man who was hunched over and holding a cane.

Izuku seeing Kendo made him blush, especially when she was in training Gi, which made her look really cute."H-H-Hi."

The old man began circling the boy, Izuku looked in confusion as the man walked around him looking at him, Kendo just looked kinda embarrassed but didn't say anything to stop the man. After a few minutes, he felt he should ask, "Uh... what is he doing?"

"He's sizing you up!" Said a boy who was wiping the sweat off his head. "Don't worry, he did the same thing with us."

"O-Oh, okay," Izuku said.

The man stopped before facing the boy, looking him in the eye. Everyone watched on to see what the sensei thought of the new fresh meat. His cane slammed to the ground, making the boy flinch."From what I can see. You're spineless. Pathetic. Weak."

Everyone went silent at the assessment of the boy. Kendo felt like she had to speak up. "Grandpa, don't you think--" She was cut off as he raised his hand.

"But."

Izuku looked down before looking back up. " When I look into your eyes, I can see the world has tried to put you down. I see the world tried putting you down, but you will have an unbreakable spirit. Only has strengthened you! You have the heart and soul, but your lack of self-confidence and timid nature will only hold you back. "

Izuku was silent and stunned as the man continued speaking. " Right now, you're nothing but a candle." He turned around his back facing the boy. "Itsuka." His tone was firm as the girl stood rigid her arms on her hips. "Hai!"

"You said you haven't been challenged enough, am I right?"

"Yes, sensei!"

"In 5 months, I expect this boy to be a raging inferno. You have a lot of work to do. "

Both the girl and boy screamed, "WHAT?!"

"But Grandpa"

"Ahhh, ahhh, it's sensei, my pupil. Take this as another lesson to learn. Now, please, take young Izuku for a moment. you're both the same age, so I hope you become friends as a student and master."

Kendo looked somewhat annoyed before sighing and giving a nod before smiling at Izuku. Before he could say anything, Kendo grabbed him by his wrist, pulling him up and out of the room with ease. She was a lot stronger than she looked. "Come on, Midoriya, let's get going."

As the months with Kendo to come began...

As she pulled him past the dojo into the back room, which had been a mixture of a storage room, locker, nurse office, and weight room. Izuku looked around the room, seeing practice weapons such as stuff, stacked in a corner.

After some weight measurements and other questions, she looked at the boy seeing he had been training somewhat, but she still considered him scrawny.

From the time she had been measuring him and other tests, she could tell he was not used to being around girls l, from the fact he was a stuttering mess, his face was beat red and he couldn't look in the eye often looking away from her or at the floor never keeping eye contact.

Now she handed the boy some Gi to train in. He was changing behind a curtain. The girl tried to break the ice, she was going to be training with him and it wouldn't help if he could barely talk to her.

"So uh... Midoriya. What school do you go to?" Kendo said, trying to break the tension.

"A-A-A-Aldrea Junior High. W- What about you?"

"Dantoonie Junior High. From what I can see from your hands and body, you have been training, right?"

"U-Uh yeah. I've been training for the UA entrance exam."

"Oh, no way you're aiming for UA too?" She said with some excitement.

"Y-Yeah, it's my dream school! I've always wanted to attend even though some people said it was impossible. I'm still going to try my best!"

Kendo smiled a little. "Yeah, people have told me my quirk is just one note, but I don't care. I love my quirk! And I'm going to into UA and become a hero!"

Izuku, who just finished wearing his Gi, smiled before looking at the Omnitrix. As he stepped out.

" So how does it feel I think I got the right size?"

"It feels a little big," Izuku said, looking at himself

" Yeah, when I got my first Gi, it felt way too big. But after a while, it fits perfectly. "

" I-I guess."

"Now let's begin your training. First, let's do some stretches!"

Midoriya froze a blank expression on his face. "S-S-Stretches... with a girl?!"

Midoriya looked at Kendo, seeing the girls figure before gulping and slapping his cheeks as he followed Kendo out as he tried to purge any impure thoughts.

We returned to our green cinnamon roll, which was just judo-flipped and crashed to the ground. "Ow!"

"Come on, Midoriya! Try harder!"

The boy lay on the ground before standing up, rubbing his butt. For the past three hours, Kendo had been testing him to see what she could improve, and from the first fight, she knew he would need a lot of work.

The girl sighed before grabbing a towel and wiping some sweat and tossing a bottle of water to the boy. " Let's take a break."

As they took a break, Izuku felt like it was the best time to ask the question he wanted to ask. "H-H-Hey K-K-Kendo. uhm... I was wondering, "

Seeing the boy look like a stuttering mess and blushing wasn't anything new, but from everyone else's perspective, it looked like he was about to ask her out.

"Ooooh looks like the tomboy Kendo is finally getting a boyfriend!"

Kendo just waved them off before turning to Kendo.

"Y-You said you have a transformation quirk! I.. I-I was wondering if you could show me some tricks."

"Huh? Is that all?" She put her bottle of water as her hand suddenly grew, Izuku was amazed.

"So what do you want to know?"

"How you turn it back? I mean, y'know your hand going back to its normal size." Izuku looked at the Omnitrix. "I've been trying to turn back to myself after I transform, but the only way is when I'm heavily exhausted."

"Oh. Well, it's not that complicated. I just think I want to go back, and I do it. There's not much to it." she demonstrated as her hand shrunk down and then turned big again.

Izuku nodded. "Just think about going back to myself." Izuku looked at the Omnitrix as he pressed down the button to the girl's confusion.

"Uh... What are you doing to your wat -"

She was cut off by a sudden burst of green light engulfing the boy catching everyone's attention, Kendo covered her eyes as she opened her eyes and she widened in shock. Where stood a scrawny timid boy, now stood a red 12 feet tall Four Armed alien. All she could say was, "Uh...?"

"Four Arms!" The alien exclaimed.

" Go back to Izuku, go back to Izuku, go back, Izuku." He scrunched his face as he struggled for a few moments of struggling slumped to the ground. "That didn't work."

Kendo was still awe-struck. She looked at FourArmed Alien and his muscles that were bulging. A few girls who watched the whole thing blushed at the alien a little turned on seeing the al

"M-Midoriya? That's you right? Uh, do you mind turning back?"

"Yeah. I'm kinda stuck like this till I get tired."

"Oh, when you said your quirk is a transformation type, didn't expect... This."

"Yeah, FourArms is pretty cool his good with strength, but FastTrack is better for speed."

"F-FastTrack?"

"Oh, that's what I call my forms."

"Forms?! Like plural?!"

"Yeah. I can turn into 10 other heroes."He said with a blush

Kendo looked in disbelief. This guy had a freaken overpowered quirk, yet he was so timid, usually, the guy with overpowered quirks is the most arrogant assholes but he...

"I don't get it. You have such an awesome quirk. How does someone like with an awesome quirk like that be so timid, and honestly kinda wimpy."

The alien flinched at that. "S-Sorry."

"No, it's refreshing most guys with a quirk that is pretty powerful like yours are kinda jackasses and look down on people with quirks like mine." Said Kendo looking at her hands.

"What, but I think your quirk is amazing!" The alien said looking down at Kendo. "Your quirk is both offensive and defensive! You can subdue villains and protect bystanders!"

The girl looked at the four-armed alien geeking out about her quirk, which made her laugh despite looking like a freaken monster with muscles that would make All Might jealous. The alien was still Izuku

Before looking at him as she couldn't understand someone with a quirk like that have such low confidence in himself. As she looked, she saw the symbol of the Omnitrix." Hey, maybe try pressing that dial thingy,"

"I have tried. Nothing happened."

"Well, try it while using my advice it might work."

FourArms stood up beforehand and went to the dial. "Go back to Izuku" As he touched the dial in a massive burst of green light he turned back to Izuku, to most of the girl's disappointment the eye candy just disappeared in a flash of light.

Izuku looked at himself, seeing he was back to normal "Hey I'm me! Thank you, Kendo! "

" No problem, now let's go back to training! You need a lot of work! Hey, and maybe if you have time, I could spar with that Four Arms guy."

"O-Oh, uh, sure! No problem!" He said with a slight blush.

As the day ended Izuku was headed home, ever since he told All Might that he wished to learn some martial arts the pro immediately made adjustments to his plans, within a week every Tuesday and Thursday he would train in martial arts while the other days he would work on his body to prepare for One For All.

Izuku began heading home, a new entry written in his book. The new entry was Kendo and her quirk. He had written every detail and aspect even though that wasn't too much to it. The girl found it a little weird.

Kevin returned home. What he saw made him drop his bag and what he saw made his blood boil. His car was smashed to bits. With a tag on it..."Freaks of Aldrea"

Kevin dropped to his knees, absorbing the ground out of habit as black electricity quickly crackled around him. As soon as the voice sounded eerily to his dead father.

"What a shame."

Kevin looked like he was about to lose it. This wasn't just a car. He had worked so hard for more than months. This was a ticket out of the slumps. His way to a new garage. His home, his car, everything was vandalized.

"You know what I find hilarious? The people who have done this probably will suffer no consequences. There will be no punishment."

"No."

"What?"

"I'll make them pay. If no one is going to do anything, it will be me. Me and Izuku will burn that school to the ground! Hehe. HAHAHA!! " His face morphed into an unhinged expression as he began laughing.

Black with a red outline electricity crackled around his body.

It was the afternoon around 15:00

the weekend Izuku woke up early and began training to clean up the beach. Unaware, he was being watched by his friend Kevin, who watched from afar. He was about to ask Izuku why he was training when he saw something that puzzled him. The boy began fiddling with the watch on his wrist.

"What are you doing?" He watched on as his eyes widened as he slammed down on the Omnitrix and engulfed in a green flash as he turned into some Crab thing.

"What the..." He watched as Izuku now. Brainstorm spilled electricity from his brain hands, lifting some trash and stacking them into a pile. He slammed down on the dial, turning back to himself as he began grabbing from the pile and running up the stairs where a blonde, skinny man who watching the boy.

He soon got tired of watching and went to confront the boy. "He has a quirk?! For how long? Since when? It must have been recent no way he would go through that torment willingly, would he?!" Then a malicious smile grew on his face."He... Has...A...Quirk. If the both of us...Yes. Yes!'

"Young Midoriya, I see you figured out how to turn back?"

Midoriya nodded. " Yeah, thanks to Kendo, I was able to figure it out! She's amazing! "

" She? Oh, is young Midoriya a ladies, man? " He said with a hint of fear" Please for the love of God don't be like your Dad in that department we almost ended up in a Galactic war because alien women wanted a piece of him... Thought that no matter how many advances they made, he was always loyal to Inko. "

" Huh? Oh. No sorry All Might but I doubt I could get a girlfriend if my life is dependent on it. "Izuku said as the man sighed in relief.

" Izuku. " Said a familiar voice. Making the two flinch as they turned, looking up the stairs to find Kevin Levin walking down the stairs.

" K-K-Kevin?!!? Uh... Wh-wha-what are you doing here? "He said with a panicked tone he glanced to All Might, who didn't turned turn away from Kevin. Instead, looked him in the eye.

"I came here to question about that speed dude from yesterday. y'know the guy who saved my car from being totally trashed since he had the symbol he had on his chest as your watch. But I just saw you turn into the crab guy, so something tells me that you were that speed for right?" He said with a glare.

Izuku, unable to lie, just gave a nod a few minutes of silence before Kevin grew a smirk. " So you have a quirk? I thought you were quirkless. "

" Uhm... Well.. "

" Young Midoriya quirk just came in. Apparently, it was a transformation type that allowed him to transform into multiple forms with unique powers. It laid dormant for a while but after the sludge villain... "

"Gotcha, you transformed, wait! But that was 3 months ago?"

"It.. Uh, it didn't show a sign since of recent late. We were still trying to figure out ourselves of his quirk." All Might quickly added.

"Oh, okay, so y'know next to nothing about this overpowered quirk? Alright. And who are you, skeleton dude?" Kevin didn't buy it too much, but it does explain something.

"I'm his trainer of sorts..." All Might said quickly.

Kevin nodded. "Don't know why you are keeping it a secret, though."

" Midoriya's quirk is... Unlike others, as you can see."

"Dude has multiple quirks. You don't see that every day, actually like ever maybe like dual quirk user but this..."

"Exactly and would like to understand it ourselves before people come hounding like animals trying to figure him out. So please keep this information to yourself."

Kevin just shrugged before putting an arm around Midoriya's shoulder before dragging him away from the blonde. "Oi! Izuku, how about you ditch this training for today? And we had to go to the mall?"

"Uh... I'm not sure about that..."

"C'mon, I have had a pretty bad day, and you owe me at least that much," Kevin said, making our green friend guilty for lying to his only friend. He turned around to All Might before bowing. "Sorry Yagi sensei, but I'll be cancelling training today,"

This made Kevin smile to himself, and all might be in his skinny frown at that. "I'll make up for it, don't worry!"

All Might just sighed he could understand if he David found out he was lying to him he would want some time to talk to him privately" I understand young Midoriya your friend probably has a lot of questions I'll leave you two."

Time-skip

"And I slam down on the dial, and then I turn into one of 10 aliens!"

"Aliens?" Kevin asked with his eyebrow raised.

"Th-That's what I called them."

"Huh. Alright. y'know with your new quirk and my own me and you would make an unstoppable team. "

"Yeah." He said, clenching his fist.

"Though with you having a quirk now means you have to follow our stupid quirk laws."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Well, you know that whole thing of you running into safe someone who's in trouble you can't exactly do that."

Midoriya looked in confusion, and Kevin didn't give an explanation, He closed his eyes. A week has passed since his home was vandalized, and the car was destroyed, and he made his declaration. In the time he absorbed the of a few people... not too flashy, just a hearing quirk and one that improved vision from a pink-haired girl.

He concentrated for a moment before hearing something that made him smile.

"Help."

Midoriya, one weakness is a cry for help.

"Let's turn this way. It's a shortcut."

"Huh? Uh, sure."

They both down an alleyway and they continued walking, Kevin was silent as they so some light Midoriya immediately heard a feminine voice."Help!"

Izuku, without hesitation, began running to the sound, Kevin's surprised Midoriya seemed a little faster."Must have been all that training," he thought.

They came up to the scene that made them stop in their tracks, a girl with in a middle school uniform and had ear jacks coming from her ears, she had purple hair, ganged up by some guys who carried some weapons.

"Leave me alone!"

"You're a mutant scum! We're going to mess you up that pretty face!!"

"Does it really take these many guys to beat up one girl?!"

"Oh, we both know you aren't just any other girl! What you did to our boy here made us really mad!"

"Your boy is a real creep! Don't y'know what no means!"

"Kyouka, are you still mad about the quirkless kid? C'mon, he was just some quirkless nobody!"

"It was needless and cruel!!"

Kevin whistles what are the chances he would come up with someone who was like, as they watched from afar as they were about to beat on this girl who didn't look scared instead she looked as if she was trying to make a plan but didn't know what to do. Izuku immediately went for the Omnitrix but then a hand made him stop

"What do you think you're doing?" Kevin questioned the boy.

"What am I doing? What are you doing?" Midoriya looked at him pleading to let go of his arm."I have a quirk now I can help! Now let me go!"

"Oh, I don't doubt you could take them if your transformations if what you told me about them is true. But... you have a quirk now, meaning you have to follow our quirk laws."

"What?"

"You were quirkless. Of course, you wouldn't be aware of how harsh using our quirks to harm others are. Oh, and if UA finds out, they can't accept someone who breaks the laws so blatantly."

"Y-Your not serious. I can't just stand by and"

"You have to! People who break the laws, regardless of the reason, are considered villains! That's the society we live in! We have to turn a blind eye!"

Izuku looked conflicted as Kevin let go of his arm before glancing at the girl who was pressed up against the wall. Her eyes may look have put on a brave face, but Midoriya knew what they said..."Someone save me."

Without question, he slammed on the Omnitrix the green flash catching the attention of everyone nearby as the goons who were about to do god knows what to their girls as from the green flash a ball of green slime flew through the air and landed between the girl and the thugs.

"GOOP!!" He exclaimed as he threw a a fist that stretched and slammed one villain to the wall before separating leaving some goop and the villain stuck to the wall, a thug swung his fist for the alien to dodge the attack then with a slime whip slapped the villain causing him crashing to the street. A villain from behind went for the attack as the girl stuck her earjaks into the man he screamed in pain before falling to his knees, giving the girl a glare who quickly kicked him in the face.

They were two villains and suddenly were smacked together, both their heads bled and collapsed to the ground as they looked to see Kevin.

"Kevin, you helped me out, but I thought you said...?

"I know, but I'll always have your back, especially if you have mine. That's why we were friends."

"Hey."

They turned to see the girl who twirled her earphones. Goop looked at her as he touched the dial of the Omnitrix, turning back to himself, which startled the girl but quickly composed herself.

"Thanks. You saved me. You guys go, you don't want to be in trouble for quirk usage. I'll try and explain everything to the cops." She said.

Both boys ended up leaving the girl to the knocked-out thugs, who were eventually arrested. A small time skip later, the two boys were in the Kiyashi shopping mall, with nearly you can think of available.

Kevin and Izuku were at the food court enjoying some burgers as they continued talking. Midoriya looked puzzled on one hand he broke the law and fled the scene of the crime. On the other hand, he had helped that girl.

"Don't do that," Kevin said as he drank some cola.

"What?"

"Someone had to do it. There were no heroes in sight. We had to put them in place. They needed to be punished. Who knows what they were going to do her if we just stood by and did nothing?

" Y-Yeah. But we still broke the law. And we ran from the scene. "

" Would you prefer we stay and get arrested? That's exactly what would've happened."

"C-Can't we say it was self-defence, I mean -"

He was immediately cut off by Kevin.

"The girl was self-defence, but we purposely stepped in looking for a fight. You can't keep thinking like that. "

"Like what?"

"Playing by the rules is going to lead to success. That a hero will always be there to save you. News flash the rules are just as useless as the heroes and teachers! Especially our teachers who turn a blind eye to everything that's happening around them, and for what? Because you were born different? You didn't ask to be born Quirkless, but how many times has this rotten world pushed you down? How many times before I stepped in, were you beaten?"

Midoriya looked uncomfortable he didn't like talking about this topic he's harsh treatment from others. He preferred to ignore it and put the worst times behind him.

" You said you want to be a hero, right? "

Izuku hesitantly nodded, not seeing where this was going.

"What do heroes do?"

"They protect people,"

"True. But you know what else they do? They put villains to justice they hold them accountable for their deplorable actions."

"Where are you going with this?"

Kevin just didn't look at him as he continued drinking before looking around and seeing his drink was almost finished with a wave of his hand. A pink purse flew into his hand.

"Kevin?! What do you think you're doing!"

He looked inside the small handbag and found a cellphone, the phone was flipped, and he examined it. Before tossing it, Izuku immediately caught it.

"Hey, stop! You got to give that back!"

"Give it back? I don't think so. See the way I see things the world around us wants to praise assholes like Bakugou and punish just they we were born, I say, instead quietly taking the beatings. We fight back. We saw everyone what we could do. We show the world why they shouldn't have messed with us. "Kevin said with so much anger in his tone.

Kevin reached out in a handshake. " I have had your back for all these years. So have mine. Please. Izuku. What you say, partner."

Izuku looked at the handshake. Midoriya was about to give his answer when...

" HEY!!"

The boys turned their heads up to see a girl with short brown hair and hazel eyes and pink cheeks that looked permanent and had a distraught look on her face. As she pointed an accusatory finger at them.

"Give it back! That's mine!" The girl shouted at the top of her lungs. She looked desperate for her purse back. As she looked ready to cry.

Kevin immediately grabbed Izuku's arm and then began running. The girl immediately saw the boys trying to flee, she immediately tried to catch the two figures.

As she made it down the stairs, seeing the two boys who were running and now outside thinking she couldn't catch them tried pleading with them.

"Please give it back! That's the last money I-I have my parents don't have much! Please! I'm begging you! I-I'll do anything!" Her voice cracked as she tried to keep up with the boys.

This caused Midoriya to turn to the girl, but he was pulled by Kevin, who ripped a manhole and leapt into it as Kevin sealed it. The girl struggled to open it, tears began to prickle at the corner of her eyes..."No..." As she stopped struggling and began crying a little.

Midoriya walked through the sewers he could the faint sobs of the girl, this broke his heart. He felt so ashamed of himself and disgusted by his actions.

"W-We went too far."

"Huh?"

"That girl was so distraught W-We have to return it back!"

"Oh. So you're not with me. We get to do anything, and if I want to keep this money, I will."

"Kevin. We can't do this. We're acting like villains!"

"Oh, I see. I've had your back but when I need yours you rather take some cheek you don't know?"

"It's not like that--"

"Shut up!! I'm tired of that school!" Kevin's face began looking more unhinged with every word that came out.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll end them! I'll show them what a real villain is like!!"

"Kevin, stop. You need to calm down!"

He looked at Izuku with a crazy expression. "Or what?!"

"I... I'll stop you myself!!"

Kevin's face morphed one to anger as he absorbed the ground he had absorbed a fire quirk early this on, and his hands lit up. Midoriya began dialling the Omnitrix as he slammed down.

"Amphibian!!!"

"I've been protecting you since we were 10 don't think I won't beat you to a pulp if you get in my way!"

Amphibian launched a powerful lightning bolt towards Kevin sending him flying and slamming into a wall as he scorched Mark on his chest. Kevin quickly blasted himself towards the boy his hands morphed into maces.

He swung them at the alien who dodged the attacks. With each swing passing through him, Amphibian wrapped his tentacles around him sending a torrent of his electricity, Kevin grabbed them and he screamed in pain as he absorbed before they were blasted apart.

Amphibian widened in horror as Kevin was a mixture of Amphibians as he flew through above and made it through the street.

"You wanna play hero?" He said with a malicious tone as he concentrated on the blast of electricity towards the railways. Amphibian widened as he blasted an explosion ensued. As a train was rapidly approaching, Kevin flew into the power lines.

"Ah, man."
