Chapter 7: Concert!!

Two months after Izuku found the Omnitrix, within a couple of weeks, a lot of things happened. School life has become far better. At least people won't actively try to put him down. Though he would never really consider them friends. Though he had made friend with Uraraka and Kendo, they would hang out during their free time and actually enjoyed one another's company.

Izuku was training at the beach with All Might right now...

"All Might I know training is important, but do you mind if I take tomorrow off?" All Might reading a newspaper on top of a fridge that he was pulling.

"What brought this on?"

Midoriya looked uncomfortable as he put on the ropes and began pulling. "Tomorrow is my mom's anniversary when she met my Dad." He grunted as he pulled All Might a pained expression on his face.

All Might looked shocked. "Midoriya never brings up his conversation with his father. I mean, I know why bringing up a loss relative doesn't come easily."

Midoriya pulled even harder. "I'll only be gone for a day, then I'll head back to training. I bought two tickets online with the money I had left over. I just thought it would be nice."

All Might smiled."Wait, it wouldn't happen to be... Shag Carpeting, would it?!

Midoriya, who continued pulling "Woah y'know them All Might? Mom loves them!"

"Yeah, His-my friend got me into the music. We had so much fun back in the day. Oh, I remember the time that we rocked out with the band, but we were so wasted that we don't remember much of it! Dave always used to say I could never handle my liquor."

"Woah, like the David Shield?! Man, what I wouldn't give to me him! And who was your other friend?"

All Might seemed to flinch at the question, "He was..."Then a sad smile was on his face. "He was the greatest man I ever knew."

"Cool wait ever knew? Did he...?"

All Might gave a small nod. "He passed away, unfortunately. He saved me more times than I can count. "

"Oh, I'm sorry..."

"Don't be. But I thought they retired?"

"They having one last show on Saturday me and Mom are planning on going."

"Hmm. Alright, I see no problem in going, you should have some fun."

"Thanks All Might!!"

"Now, that doesn't mean you get to skip training today. Now go the extra mile!! YOUNG MIDORIYA GO GO GO!!"

As he began pulling with all his might.

With that, it soon was the afternoon, Midoriya, and was about to begin his daily sparing. After training, he would spar would Kendo to see his progress. Now

Midoriya steps into the centre of the mat. They both bowed to one another and took a fighting stance.

"You sure you want to get your but ki--" Kendo was cut off as Midoriya kicked in the chest, sending the girl a few inches back, causing the girl to smile and chuckle. "All right. Game on."

Midoriya sent a flurry of punches and kicks, which Kendo blocked and dodged. "Close the gap." Izuku lunged at the girl, and she tripped him. The boy immediately rolled to his feet, and Midoriya sent another set of punches, which she managed to block.

"You're telegraphing," Kendo said before kicking the boy in the stomach, causing the boy to stumble to the ground. "Don't let me see it coming."

Midoriya tackled the girl to the ground before standing over the girl. "Didn't see that, did you." Kendo immediately kicks his legs from under her. "Maybe" before standing up and helping the boy up.

"You're getting better. Maybe one of these days you might have the drop on me." Kendo said with a condescending tone.

"Yeah, my movements still feel sloppy."

"Yeah, you're too easy to read. I could see your movements a mile away."

"But I'll make sure to get stronger!"

As they changed out of the Gi and left the dojo as they began walking, they found Uraraka waiting for them, giving them a wave.

"Hey guys! Wanna hang out? I'm free today, "

"Yeah, sounds fun."

As she began walking with them, "So I'm assuming she kicked your but again, huh Izuku?"

Kendo gave a nod as they both snickered at the boy.

Midoriya blushed in embarrassment."I-I-I'm getting better one of these days. I am going to beat you."

"I'll admit you are a pretty fast learner or I'm just that good as a teacher... actually, I'm going with the second one. But besides that, you are improving. "

Uraraka and Kendo looked with some admiration at the boy. He constantly pushed himself, and when he failed, he never seemed deterred instead gets back up and tried again. This brought a smile to Kendo.

"Even though his never beaten me, he still tries his best to get one over me. Usually, a guy would feel embarrassed about being a girl and quit. But he never quits. And he sees me as an equal, I can tell when he fights he doesn't hold back. "The girl smiled as they continued walking.

" You know what, Izuku, that makes me want to go the extra mile too!! I'm gonna train so hard for the entrance exam too!! "

Midoriya shook his head." Yeah! I really hope we all make it! I know you guys are gonna make it. I should be the one worried." He said with a sheepish smile.

Both girls looked at each other before turning to the boy. They knew he had some self-confidence issues. "No way, Izuku!! You totally got this!" Uraraka said with her punching the air.

Itsuka nodded. "Yeah, your quirk is stupidly strong, plus your strategistic mind is honestly a terrifying combination. You should have more confidence in yourself and your own skills. You're strong. I know that Uraraka knows it. The only person who can't see it is you."

"Yeah, Kendo showed me some of the fights you were in! You totally got this." Uraraka said.

Izuku blushed from the praise. "Th- Thanks. Oh! And before I forget, I should let you guys know I won't be around on Saturday."

"Huh? Why not? I was kinda hoping to spar with Four Arms, I may be able to beat when you're... You. But when you're in alien, I barely can land a hit on you."

"Wait, you guys train with his aliens. You don't mind if I join?"

"I don't see why not. Midoriya?"

Midoriya nodded. "Yeah, it could be really fun. Honestly, I've been thinking about how to improve your quirk, I can increase Diamondhead's crystals to whatever weight that could help you in some quirk training. Oh, and Four Arms can improve you fighting bigger opponents Kendo..."Soon, the boy began to mutter.

Both girls just looked at him with, so used to his antiques that they not even bothered by it." How does he do that without losing air? "

" Years of practice, I'm assuming," Uraraka had said.

Kendo gave a light chop on his head. "You said something about you being out of town on Saturday?"

Midoriya, who came out of his muttering."Oh right, me and Mom are going to a concert she's really excited about her, and Dad used to go all the time!"

"Huh? Cool. Though it's going to suck not being able to train."

"Sorry."

"No worries, dude."

As they continued walking and talking to each other.

Izuku and Inko got out of the bus, Inko had stars in her eyes as they walked into the music festival. Izuku watched as his mother was having the time of her life enjoying their time. He hasn't seen his mother smile like this in a while.

"Thank you, Izuku." Came the grateful tone from his mother. "Th-This the place where I met your father. We fell in love." She began to shed some tears. "Ugh, look at me. I'm crying already. Now. I'm probably going to cry like a baby all day. This place brings so... so many memories. So... you have fun, okay? And I've always wanted grandkids so go find yourself a girlfriend!"

She said with stars in her eyes. "Mom!!"

She proceeded to push him a s she left to have fun by herself. Midoriya proceeds to take a walk around the music festival. Right now, he stopped to get some churros. When he heard a familiar voice.

"Hey, I'll pay for the kid."

Midoriya turned around to see All Might in what seemed to be hippy clothes with sunglasses and a shirt that was way too big for the skinny man.

"ALL--MMPHH?!"All Might quickly put a hand to his mouth. To the confusion of the vendor.

After getting the churros and leaving, they began walking around.

"So what are you doing here, All Might?"

"Call me Toshinori sensei in this form. We don't want someone with a hearing quirk to overhear us." Toshinori said. "And for the reason I'm here is obvious. I'm a fan of Shag Carptening, and this is the last show, so... of course I came here."

"Huh, guess I shouldn't be surprised. Well, guess -"

He felt someone grip his shoulder. He turned around to see a familiar face. "Hey."

"H-H-Hi."

"You're the guy that saved me from those jackasses a couple of months back, I don't think I got to say thank you. So, thanks."

"Oh no problem, you looked like you needed help, so I did. You honestly don't have to thank me!"He said, waving his arms around.

"Yeah, well, if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to thank you probably, plus it gives me an excuse to avoid my parents." She said, gesturing to a woman who had similar earlobes to her and a blonde man screaming like a madman alongside others.

"Oh. Well..."He then saw Toshinori giving him two thumbs up as he walked away with a smile."And I guess his okay with it. I'm Izuku Midoriya, by the way."

"Kyouka Jirou"

As they continued walking, they couldn't help but notice the leather jacket that a 'DEEP DOPE' written on the back with some stickers plastered on the shoulders. The next thing he noticed was her earlobes. And him being the absolute nerd and hero fanatic couldn't help the next words that came out of his mouth.

"What's your quirk?"

The girl turned to him. "What?"

"U-Uh.. What's your q-quirk? I-I'm kinda a superhero nerd and really interested in quirks a-and y-yours l-look really cool."

Jirou blushed in embarrassment, her cheeks a slight pink. "Thanks. No one really compliments my quirk."

"Really, that's too bad it looks really cool."

"Thanks, but uh... It's not that great." Izuku watched as she avoided direct eye contact and began twirling her jacks in one finger." I can channel the sound of my heartbeat through them, causing vibrations and sound waves--Hey woah?! Where did that notebook come from?!"

She looked in, somewhat amazement, pulled out a notebook, and began scribbling through his notebook. "Don't mind me, please continue."

She began to continue. "Uhm... Oookay? My sense of hearing is pretty off the scale. "

"Oh? Does it hurt? When I'm Spidermonkey, sometimes loud noises can be irritating. "

"Spidermonkey?" She questioned.

"Oh, it's one of my forms." He pulled out another notebook that said alien heroes transformations. "Woah, can you actually turn into these guys?! No way!" She said with an unconvinced tone.

Midoriya nodded. Jirou with a nonchalant." Prove it because there's no way you could actually have these many. And with these powers, I'm having a hard time believing it."

Midoriya then nodded as he pressed the button."U-Uh, l-let me. Prove it, then."

Unbeknownst when he pressed the button, it sent out a signal that the Omnitrix had just been activated, sending his location.

As he slammed it down in a burst of green light, the girl was awe-struck, to say the least... She turned to him to see something that made her jaw drop. What stood in front of her was crystal man, 6 feet tall at least, green pale crystals."Diamondhead!"

"Prove enough?"

"Woah dude, that's awe -"

And then the clouds parted as something hurled through the sky straight towards them at high speed. Diamondhead glared at the incoming object as it crashed, sending a massive shockwave and dust kicking up to everyone around.

Diamondhead created some crystals to protect some of the bystanders from the shockwave.

"You okay green?"

"Yeah - wait, green?"

Jirou just shrugged.

As two glowing red eyes peered through the clouds as then a giant mantis robot stood and then it seemingly locked onto Midoriya raised its hand it began to glow when...

"SMASH!!" Everyone looked as All Might sent a powerful punch towards the robot destroying it instantly.

"All Might "came the voice of Diamondhead. As he worked towards the destroyed robot. "I've never seen anything like this.

All Might recognized the machine his face was angry but quickly smiled to hide his worry not for himself but for young Midoriya.

"You okay All Might?" Came the concern tone of Diamondhead. All Might gave a thumbs up. "Everyone, everything's is alright. Get back to having fun!!" As he gave a thumbs-up to the people. Jirou proceeded to grab the crystal man's hand. "C'mon, we should probably leave."

"Oh, uh.. okay." He touched the dial and turned back to himself as he was dragged away being far lighter.

All Might watched his proteges in concern but was happy he was making more friends. He failed to notice a small drone damaged, and he managed to crawl away.

"So all these guys, are you? Dude, that's awesome!"Jirou said, looking through his notebook.

"Yeah, hopefully, it will be enough to get into UA!"He said with a nervous tone.

The girl looked at him. "Wait, you're applying for UA?"

"Hmm? Y-Yeah, it's a long shot, but I'm gonna do my best it's always been my dream to become a hero!"

Jirou looked down a little sad. She still wanted to talk to her parents about being a hero. She loved music, but she still wanted to be a hero she just didn't want to let her parents.

"What about you, Jirou?"

"Hmm?"

"Are you going to apply for the hero course?"

"Wh-What gave that idea?!"

"Well, when we met, those guys said something about you protecting a quirkless kid, and your quirk is amazing, definitely pro material, so I just assumed you wanted to be a hero."

"Look, I just don't like bullies, and the guy needed help, so I helped him out though that painted a huge target on my back."

"Y-Yeah, I know how that happens." His tone indicates sadness. But quickly recovered from his funk."But you would make a great hero!"

"Yeah... bringing hope to the world by making people smile. But that is just a dream for me..."

"That's not true! You have the heart and quirk to be a great hero!"

Midoriya got in her face, causing the girl to blush a little."The fact you protected someone makes you an amazing hero, the fact you did it because it was the right thing already makes you a hero in my book!!"

He said with so much passion in his voice that the girl herself was almost convinced by the declaration. She burst into laughter.

"Pfft! Haha! Dude, you don't even know me! And you think I can be a hero?"

Midoriya just shrugged."I know it!"

Jirou could only chuckle as they continued walking unbeknownst to them. The drone began crawling and tried to make it to the nearest technology to control. Its eyes glowed red seeing a weatherman with a robot next to him.

"Oh yeah, I've been meeting to ask what does Deep Dope mean? It's all over your jacket, and I couldn't help but notice."

Jirou looked at her jacket and began twirling her jerks in clearly nervous." Oh, Deep Dope? They are these super cool rock bands I listen to. You probably wouldn't like them, but they're my favourite. I heard that they should be playing they are like super fans of Shag Carptening."

"If they are playing, maybe I can hear them play."

Jirou paled before waving her arms." No, no, no, no no no it-it's not s-something you would like! C'mon, let's do something else!!"

"You don't know that I might actually like them!" Looking at the schedule."They should be playing in a few minutes lets go check it out!"

Jirou relented, completely prepared for the mockery, and insults headed her way. Midoriya and Jirou both stood in the audience, the girl clearly nervous. But when they began playing, all her nervous energy seemingly disappeared.

The song they were playing was called "Heroes are Dope." The song spoke to Midoriya, the lyrics were different from what he heard before, but despite that, he tapped his foot rapidly to the beat of the song. "Wow, this is really good. I'm surprised -"

He turned to Jirou, who was moving her head up and down rapidly alongside everyone else with her hands rockin' with the music. Midoriya smiled before enjoying the song himself.

The song came to an end. Midoriya was indulged in Jirou's enthusiasm and passion for music. "Oh, man, that was awesome! Hearing them this close is awesome it's way better than hearing them on my phone. Some things don't beat concerts!"

Midoriya smiled."Mhmm, they are so good! I kinda wanna hear more."

"Wait, you actually liked them?!"

Midoriya nodded as he was about to ask for other recommendations he was cut off by a scream from an audience member. "AAAHH!!! A-A villain!!"

"What the Devil is that?" Said one of the members of the Deep Dope band members. The lead singer who still had a microphone.

As then, a sudden water monster appeared, its glowing red eye glaring at the audience.

All Might in his skinny form who had run into Inko had begun discussing Midoriya's progress.

"My sweet boy can be quite the handful. I actually wanted to thank you."Inko said with a grateful tone.

"Thank me? No, there's no reason, too."

"No I have to, I realized my son had been smiling in a way his never before, he's always so excited about going off to train I had no idea why but something tells me it has something to do with you. He's always trying to make everyone around him happy not to upset them, but... I think you're the first person in a while who makes him happy."

All Might smiled and nodded."I think he's done as much as I have for him. I truly believe he will become the greatest hero. "

Inko looked at him before smiling."You're the first person to believe in him in a while."

"Hmm? I'm sure his father would've believed in him."

Inko smiled even more. "I don't think Izuku remembers everything about what happened when he was told he was quirkless. I remember when we found out he was quirkless he was crying in my arms and that man flew across the country grabbed my baby on the shoulder and told him he could be a hero even if he was quirkless, he then went on to say he would be the first and greatest quirkless hero. "

The women giggled at the memory."But I think when his father passed away, he tried to suppress the memories of his father. He never mentions him... at least not to me.'

All Might frowned, realizing he didn't really mention his father. In fact, he mentioned once when he was going to the concert.

His thoughts were cut off by screaming from the nearby concert.

"What is that?" Inko said, noticing the water monster from a distance.

All Might."Sorry, Mrs. Midoriya, but I have to go to the bathroom. I think I ate something that didn't agree with me."

He said as he ran off. Finding a hiding spot, he ripped his shirt open, Superman style revealing his hero costume."Like young Midoriya would say it's Hero Time."

Before buffing up and shooting towards the water monster.

Back with Midoriya

Izuku and Jirou both dodged a water tentacle that slammed in between them. The audience scattered.

Midoriya tumbled, rolling on the ground.

Midoriya then saw All Might coming in like a bullet as he shot right through the water monster crashing down.

"All Might won't be able to hurt that thing that guy is just way too big, it's not like the slime villain where All Might could punch it, and judging by the steam on All Might...Steam."

Midoriya looked at the Omnitrix. He ran at full speed towards All Might. Who was about to go and attack the water villain when he heard...

"All Might, I have an idea!!"

He turns to his protégé."Young Midoriya, you should be getting to safety!"

"Your time limit is already low. If you go over your limit, it will lower the limited time you already have! And I'm not ready to say I'm here! Heck, I haven't made it into UA yet!! So let me fight it. I have an idea!"

All Might then looked at Midoriya before the water monster before nodding."Tell me your idea."

"We turn the water into steam!"

All Might widens before smiling.

"Problem is I don't want to hurt the villain, and if I turn him into steam, I'll..."

"Young Midoriya, you haven't noticed? That isn't a person."

He then gestured to the glowing red Midoriya, which squinted his eye to see the head of the weatherman robot.

"It's not a person?"

"It's probably a rogue weather machine gone haywire. Attacking whatever it sees"

Midoriya gulped."O-Okay. But I'm too sure how I'm going to -"

"Supernova. Go supernova hot while heatblast."

"Supernova? Can I go that hot?"

"I know you can. And remember velocity and intensity. The faster you spin the hotter, the more you will be young, Midoriya."

Midoriya gulped as he began running towards the monster activating the Omnitrix its attention immediately focused on Midoriya who began dialling on the Omnitrix, stopping at the silhouette of Heatblast he slammed it down in a burst of green he was Heatblast.

"Heatblast!!"

He was running before jumping in the air he burst into flames and began flying through, leaving a trail of smoke as he flew and began spinning at high speeds, the emerald flames catching the attention of everyone.

"I have never seen anything so majestic!" Said a band member.

"Truly glorious! I've never seen green flames like that. "

"Green flames?" Jirou asked herself as she remembered Midoriya's notebook under Heatblast it said green flames.

He continued spinning the water monster, which began turning to steam, filling the entire area with hot steam. All Might looked in prude as Heatblast landed, panting and breathing heavily.

"Young Midoriya! Are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah. Just never went that hot before."

The Omnitrix blinked green before disappearing in a burst of green light.

"First a giant robot now a water monster? What's up with today?"

"Midoriya!"Said the voice of Jirou, whose voice was coming through the steam.

"I'll have to make sure that machine is destroyed before it goes on another rampage. You go on a hangout with your girlfriend! Though I I bet my money on Uraraka and Kendo!"

Midoriya blushed"Sh-Shes not my g-girl friend."

"Not yet! BWAHHAA!!"He said before running off.

Jirou, looking through the steam, saw the familiar green hair." Dude, are you nuts?!"

Came the immediate questioning of Jirou when she saw him.

"You're not the first person to ask me that."

"Why does that not surprise me. Y'know All Might totally got it handled it, right?"

Midoriya blushed ."Yeah, but I-I-I j-just w-wanted to help him out, h-he's my h-hero after all."

"So you're an All Might fan?"

"Y-Yeah, he's my idol."

As Jirou and Midoriya continued within the steam, the same weatherman from before took the robot's head, which now was decked out with the same technology from the robot before."Wh-What happened to you?"

He said before taking the robot and leaving with the robot.

A few hours later

"Young man, what are your intentions with my daughter?" Said the terrifying tone of Kyoutoku.

Midoriya was completely terrified as Mika slapped her husband's arm.

"Stop, don't chase away, Kyoukas' new boyfriend."

Midoriya was on the verge of passing out from embarrassment. To inkos and All Mights laughter. Kyouka herself tried to hide her blush.

The concert for Shag Carptneing was in full swing, Jirou and Midoriya were both heavily embarrassed as they watched they began dancing like lunatics.

"Right on! Isn't this just the grooviest?"Said Jirou's Dad to the punk girls' absolute embarrassment.

"Grooviest? "Oh. Dad, you seriously need to pick up some news to pick up some new material."Jirou said.

The lights were dim as everyone got excited. The band began to play the song. "Izuku, it's the opening to "Twister Alley"!"

Midoriya was surprised as soon as they began play. The weather suddenly changed out of nowhere as it began raining accompanied by a huge gust of wind.

"Uh, when they play that song, does it always feel like a real tornado is blowing through?"

They all turned to see rapid spinning winds hurling through approaching everyone. The wind departed, revealing a giant weather monster. With a piercing red glow targeted Midoriya specifically who was with the Jirou's and All Might.

"Izuku, we need to run!"

"Kyouka, let's go!!"

Both concerned parents were extremely worried."This place has some seriously weird weather," Kyouka said with a tone, indicating she was clearly scared shitless.

"It's like that thing become a combo of disaster."

The weathermonster spoke."I have finally found you."The voice shook All Might to his core it was an all to families voice as he muttered under his breath."Vilgax."

A huge wind began to cause everyone to be lifted from their feet, holding onto the railing for dear life.

The first to be blown was All Might since his skinny form made him far lighter.

Midoriya and Jirou were next, "Whoa!!"

"Aaah!!" Kyouka screamed as she too was blown away. Followed by the rest.

Midoriya and All Might landed nearby. "Young Midoriya, we need to face this together."

"Huh?"

"Think of it as some training," as he buffed himself. As a bolt of lightning struck down towards everyone. Lucky for them, no one saw All Might's transformation, and he was able to get everyone out of the lightning strike.

"I've heard that humming before," said Kyoutoku.

"Me too," said Mika with concentration

"It sounds like the beginning of "Twister Alley. ""

Midoriya immediately began dialling the Omnitrix, dialling up the Omnitrix before slamming it back down in in burst of green light he was Four Arms. He leapt out and stood next to All Might.

"All Might."

"Young Midoriya, let me show you a movie I learned from an old movie! I call it THE NEW YORK CITY SMASH!!"

As Midoriya's copied movement pulled the arms back before sending a massive sonic clap that sent the monster reeling back from the shockwave.

They both began assaulting the monster.

"There's been humming coming from that thing. And the water monster from before. I've been hearing it all day..."

Then she remembered the weathermen's robot. She remembered what All Might had said to Midoriya she didn't mean to overhear the conversation, but she did.

Kyouka immediately said, "It's probably a rogue weather machine gone haywire. Attacking whatever it sees"

Kyouka immediately bolted for the instrument. This brought confusion to her parents, Inko had been distraught as she watched Herr baby fight that monster alongside All Might.

"Kyouka, what are you doing? we need to leave."

"That weather robot is its power source, and it's been sending out that humming. All I have to do is create a sound on the opposite sound of the spectrum!"

Her parents widened at their daughter's quick thinking. As she tested a few guitars strumming at them. She grabbed three guitars and began to run towards Midoriya and All Might, who just crashed down and began rubbing their heads.

" Midoriya and All Might get close enough to sort it out."

They began dodging lightning bolts away they were interrupted by Jirou.

"Midoriya! All Might!"

She tossed them their guitar to the confusion."Frequency is programmed into the amplifier. You both get inside that thing and start strumming away at the guitar!"

Four arms caught his guitars. To Inkos worry but was quickly reassured by All Might.

"Don't worry, miss. Your son will be okay. I can promise you that. I'll distract it. You get inside and rock 'n roll, young man."

He gulped before putting the guitars over his shoulders. Beforw walked up to his mother, the woman a little stunned that her sweet boy was this red giant man standing in front of her."I'll be back, okay?"

He said with a smile. Before taking a massive leap into the air, letting air carry him to the monsters upper body. All Might crackjed his knuckles before leaping and sending a massive punch towards the monster. "Your fights with me, big guy!"He said with his iconic smile.

All Might began sending blows after blow to the monster, distracting it from the fact Four Arms was making his way to his head. Four arms made it inside, swimming the water before ripping himself through the head.

walking up to the he ripped out a massive bus from its head revealing the robot. Four arms swung his bases in each hand. As a lightning struck in the background, catching everyone's attention as he began playing.

Everyone watched with as Four Arms rocked on. Deep Dope listening couldn't help but notice that they were the song right now.

Four arms played on until an all to familiar beeping noise came from the omnitrix as he turned back to Izuku."Crap!" He panted. "Heatblast fire tornado and the previous battle must have worn me out more than I realized," He thought to himself

The monster sent out a water whip shooting the teenager off his head. To the terror of the on lookers below.

"YOUNG MIDORIYA/IZUKU!"
