Chapter 14: Battle Trial. True Start Of Hero School.
Izuku Midoriya stared up at the U.A. gates once more, he looked at the gate before looking at the Omnitrix.
"I still can't believe I'm here a year ago. I was quirkless with only one friend and a target for the whole school now... I'm actually standing at U.A. with not one, not two but so many quirks, the old me would go ballistic!"
"Midoriya."
Izuku blinked repeatedly before looking to his left to find Kirishima and Yaoyorozu.
"Huh? Oh, sorry. Morning. I was just kinda lost in thought, sorry." Midoriya said sheepishly. "I just can't believe I'm actually standing here."
Kirishima gave a toothy grin."Yeah, I know, right man? It feels so surreal. I'm just being here."
He said, looking at his arm before hardening it. Yaoyorozu smiled."Yes. I understand the feeling, but that should only work harder to prove our worth!"
"Yeah," Kirishima said
Midoriya nodded."It's hero time." He said to himself, which confused both of them.
"Uh? "Hero time?" Kirishima
Midoriya's face went red from embarrassment."It's uhm kinda of.. a catchphrase." He whispered.
Kirishima and Yaoyorozu both looked at each other before the girl giggled. Kirishima had stars in his eyes."Woah, you already have a catchphrase?!"
Midoriya flinched back before blushing."Yeah, I like it it gives me a boost of confidence."
"Huh. Maybe I should have one!"
"Catchphrases often become a selling point for a pro hero," Yaoyorozu said.
As the three walked back to class and continued conversing, the school day finally began.
[Homeroom]
"Make sure to take your academic classes seriously. U.A. will not tolerate anyone slacking off." Aizawa told all of his students in Class 1-A.
"Also -" he glanced over at Bakugo, "-be sure to behave yourselves in all of your classes, including your hero lesson today."
Crossviens emerged on Bakugo's head.
[English]
Everyone sat in bored silence as the English teacher, Present Mic, the same teacher who had instructed the students to take the practical exam, wrote down four different sentences on the board.
"Now, which one of these four sentences is incorrect?" Their teacher asked in a rather bored tone.
"So boring..." Most of the class thought.
[Mathematics.]
"And that is how you get X," Momo said, finished using over half the board to complete a math problem.
"That is correct, good job." Ectoplasm, the cloning hero and math teacher, praised her.
Izuku stared at the board with bulging eyes, "She's amazing!" Izuku thought."Too bad I can't use Brainstorm to do all my schoolwork. Though I doubt the school work would be a challenge if I could."
He heard some heavy panting behind him and partially turned around to see the short, purple-haired boy behind him drooling with widened eyes. "She's... amazing..." he also said, although for different reasons.
Izuku shivered in disgust and could only imagine what he was thinking.
[Modern Literature]
"You'll need this book for our first few assignments." The cement hero Cementoss, a humanoid block of cement, said as he showed the book that he expected the class to buy or at least read.
"AH! Reading!" The pink-skinned girl and the invisible girl both uttered in dismay, hands on their heads in stress just thinking about it.
Yaoyorozu and Iida had already begun reading a copy of the book Cemento told them to get.
"How did she get it already!?" Izuku wondered in pure confusion.
"One should always be prepared to dedicate themselves to studying," Yaoyorozu said as she began reading through it.
"I hope the book is cheap..." Ochako muttered under her breath as she looked into her wallet with a worried look
[Modern Hero Art History]
"And that is a brief introduction to the 'Regulations For Exposed Skin in Costumes' bill. Because of this bill, the types of styles that female heroes could have in their costumes became more restricted. " The R-rated hero, Midnight, said with a smile as she pointed her whip to the information she wrote down on the board.
A few of the boys in the class blushed as they saw Midnight bounce in her erotic costume.
"Some of you girls or boys properly are subjugated to this regulation. Clothing can be very restricting for us, who especially need to expose skin." Midnight said.
"If you ask me, they should've let youth shine in the way they wanted! You gotta express yourself in any way you can, show the world the power of your youth!" As she said this, Midnight breathed heavily with a big smile.
"Stupid regulations! We want more skin, not less!" Mineta said in disappointment.
"Now, now, certain people just can't handle the blooming that us youthful people have. Don't you agree?" Midnight said, winking at the class.
"Yes!" Some of the boys in the class shouted immediately.
"Are you implying that you're still in your youthful phase?" Bakugou responded while clicking his pen.
The whole class got quiet, and Midnight visibly tightened her grip on her whip, cross veins forming.
"What do you mean by that?" She asked, a menacing purple aura forming around her.
A lot of the class shivered, in terror.
"Nothing..." Bakugou gave the response from his experience with his mother. This would only end badly for him.
Midnight smiled again, "Good! Moving on!"
[Lunch]
The lunch arrived, and with it, the students from different departments ranged from General Education courses, the Business Course, and the Hero Course.
Midoriya sat with Uraraka, Jirou, Iida, and Yaoyorozu. He felt a flick to the forehead. Before looking and seeing Kendo.
"Kendo!"Midoriya said in surprise."You're not still mad, are you?"
The girl shook her head."No, it's fine, I'm not mad... anymore."
"I'm surprised you didn't flip him to the floor, Kendo," Uraraka said.
"Oh, I plan to."
The boy flinched in terror, which brought a smile to the girl.
Before the girl addresses the group."I'm Itsuka Kendo, by the way."
"Kyouka Jirou"
"Momo Yaoyorzu. "
"Tenya Iida."
Soon, three other girls came by. Midoriya noticed one of the girls."Oh hey, Kodai."
The girl gave a small nod of acknowledgment.
"Wait, you know her?"Kendo asked with some worry in her tone.
"Oh, we met yesterday, well formally met anyways. We exchanged numbers and have been texting. She's surprisingly a good conversationalist. "
"Oh... You.. Already exchanged numbers." Kendo said with a clenched fist, which brought confusion to some of the group before she composed herself.
The other two began to introduce themselves."Setsuna Tokage," said with a toothy grin.
"Reiko Yanagai. Pleasure."
The rest of the group introduced themselves and began conversing.
"So I heard you guys had a pretty stressful first day?" Tokage said.
Everyone shivered from the memory."Yes, I didn't think our teacher was serious about expelling us, but when I learned he expelled his entire class, I was more than surprised."
"It was absolutely terrifying!" Jirou said, shivering.
"Wow, your teacher sounds scary," Yanagi said.
"So, who got the boot?" Setsuna asked.
"Oh, no one. Our teacher said he saw great potential in all of us, and that's why none of us got expelled luckily."
"Though I really hoped Mineta would get booted," Jirou said with no empathy.
"Jirou!"Iida said with a disbelieving tone."He's our classmate."
"He's a pervert who openly and shamelessly looks at the girls in his class, and the things he said under his breath..."The girl shivered in horror due to her quirk overheard some of the things he said.
The girls of class B looked terrified."Kinda makes me glad we don't have any perverts in our class," Setsuna said in relief.
"Wait, you guys don't have any pervs?! Damn it! How the hell did we get stuck with the only pervert?!"Jirou said in frustration.
"Mhmm no... every guy in our class seems to be normal. Except Monoma." Yanagi said.
"Monoma?"
"Yeah, I almost forgot to tell you, Monoma really seems to have it for your class," Kendo said.
"Really, why?" Iida asked.
"Well, he thinks we need to prove that we're the superior class, and with your class having the top two spots in the class, he wants to prove himself," Setsuna said as she bit her sandwich.
"Especially you, Midoriya, he really wants a piece of you."
Midoriya just slumped."Great, another blonde guy wants to pick a fight with me,"
"You seem to have a really bad track record with blonde's first Bakugou and now Monoma," Yaoyorozu said while patting the boy.
"By the way, I'm not sure if it's only for class B, but for Hero Basic Training, why is it the only one we don't know our teacher's name?" Kendo asked if it was bugging her since she got her syllabus.
Everyone looked at her before nodding in agreement."Same for us. They seem to be pretty hush-hush about the situation." Iida said.
"I asked Mr. Aizawa, he just told me you'll find out in hero basic training. Don't worry about it."Yaoyorozu responded.
"Maybe there's a typo in the syllabus?" The purple-haired girl said, shrugging. Iida immediately shot up from his seat and began robotically chopping the air.
"If that's the case, then it's unacceptable for a top hero school to allow such mistakes in the great halls we walk!" Iida said before Midoriya responded after taking another bite of his lunch.
"Maybe they wanted to surprise you like in the entrance exam with the zero pointers, remember?" Midoriya said as those who took the exam remembered the giant zero pointers.
"I suppose so, but if that's the case, try not to put yourself in more danger. Oh, and after learning what your quirk does, I was curious about something?"Iida asked
"Oh? What's up?"
"You can turn into multiple forms each with their own powers and abilities."
"Wait, hold up, that's your quirk?!" Setsuna said, clearly not believing it.
"Yup! He's got 19 aliens that have multiple quirks!"
"Woah, you really hit the genetic jackpot!"Setsuna said.
Which brought a chuckle from the boy."You have no idea how wrong that statement is." Midoriya thought."Yeah... I guess."
"Kinda thought he was quirkless with him wearing the quirkless reds."Setsuna thought before shrugging."Must be a similar pair."
"Yes, out of your forms, how come you didn't use Fasttrack and get everyone out? You would've gotten your rescue points without engaging the zero pointer."
Midoriya froze as he stopped to take a bite of his sandwich. There was a moment of realization among them.
"..."
"...Why didn't I think of that?!!" He shot from his seat and grabbed his head in frustration before the group burst into laughter. Midoriya sat back as Kendo patted him on the back in a comforting manner.
"Don't worry, we all make mistakes," Kendo said as she tried hiding her laughter.
"Ah, man." The boy blushed in embarrassment.
[Hero Basic Training]
Small conversations were abuzz in class 1A as the students all waited with bated breath for their teacher. Izuku himself was dialling the Omnitrix and making notes. The notebook is titled Alien Heroes#1.
"Ever since I figured out how to use Full Cowl with my aliens I haven't had a chance how it will affect my aliens but I do have some theories, Heatblast flames will burn hotter and brighter, Four Arms will have increased strength and speed he, added to his own maybe around 20% pseudo 100%? Probably. I'm not sure how Goop or Diamondhead will be affected. Though I'm curious. "
Hagakure Tooru spoke animatedly with everyone around her, and Momo conversed with Jirou. She tried conversing with Todoroki but was brushed off. To the girl's disappointment.
Finally, on the opposite side of the classroom from Izuku, the energetic duo of Ashido Mina and Kirishima Eijirou led their own conversation, with the eccentric Aoyama Yuuga chiming in every so often.
As then, the sensitive hearing of Kyouka picked something up.
"Wait, that laugh... it can't be..." she trailed off as she turned her full focus on the door.
Those around her took notice as they each began to hear footsteps. Loud footsteps at that.
"I AM HERE!" he exclaimed as he burst through the door. "And I'm coming through the door like a normal person!"
shouted. The class got excited at the sight of the #1 hero. Especially a green-haired boy sure he saw him regularly but it was still surreal.
"I can't believe that it's All Might!" Kaminari said with pure excitement
"So he is a teacher here. Oh man, this year is gonna be awesome!" Kirishima with his fist bumped the air
"Hey, isn't that his Sliver Age costume?" the frog-looking girl: Tsu said as they watched All Might walking to the podium in a...weird fashion
"Wow, that's so retro." A kid with a big tail said
"Welcome to the most important class in your course in U.A High. Hero 101." All Might said as the class looked at him
"Here, you will learn the basics of being a Pro and learn to fight in the name of good. Let's get into it!" All Might said while posing
"Today's lesson is Combat Training!" All Might as he pulls out a card with BATTLE on it and shows the class the card
"Finally! The real shit!" Bakugou said, finally getting what he wanted
"Real...combat..." Izuku said nervously before gulping."I have been in real combat before, but... I'm still nervous. At least this time, my life won't be in mortal danger..." He glanced over at Bakugo, remembering how the boy probably wanted to end him."..Probably."
"And to go with that, are these!" All Might shouted out as he pressed a button on a small remote.
Tall drawers on the side of the classroom slowly slid out to reveal many cases in them, each case with its own number.
"These are the costumes you made based on your quirk and have requested before school started! Everyone gets dressed and gathers on Ground Beta afterwards!" All Might finish in another pose.
"Yes, sir!" The class shouted.
Midoriya was in the boys' locker room as they all began changing into the hero costume, Midoriya opened his suitcase and smiled as he pulled out a hoodie.
The hoodie was the same green as his hair and eyes, the hood at similar bunny ears, reminiscence to All Might's hairstyle. The green was broken up by two white stripes on the arms and a number 10 on the chest.
Flashback
Flashback to Three Weeks Ago:
"I need to go to City Hall to get my Quirk registration for the clothing allowance," Izuku said as he was sitting on his couch with papers spread all around the table. He got caught up with all of the training with All Might, that he forgot to send in his request for his costume. And he left it for the last minute.
"Oh wait, but I'm already registered as Quirkless... Oh crap, what should I do...?"
He decided to call All Might for help.
"Quirk registration? Oh yeah, you can update that." All Might said blatantly as he sat in the teacher's lounge.
"Wait, really?! Just like that?"
All Might chuckled. "Everyone is examined and registered all at once when they enter elementary school and junior high, right? But there are cases where people discover their Quirks are not what they thought they were. So, you're allowed to update it once or twice. They won't accept outrageous changes, but if you had none before, it's probably fine."
"I'm home!" Inko yelled from the front door.
Izuku got nervous, afraid that his mother could find out All Might and Izuku's secret, so he panicked and hung up by accident.
"Damn it, I hung up by mistake. I'll have to apologize to All Might later."
"Welcome back!" Izuku greeted his mother.
"Hey, Izuku-" Inko began as she pulled something out of her bag. "Congrats on getting into UA!" She added as she showed him an old dusty box. "Your father may have jumped to a conclusion. He made you this before he passed and said, "When you get into U.A. I should give you this."
Izuku looked confused before opening the box and seeing a hoodie.
"A hoodie?" Izuku repeated as he inspected it.
"It's not much, but I know your father worked like hell in making in it," Inko said the hoodie still had the scent of her late husband.
"Dad made this for me?"Izuku asked, looking at the hoodie. It just looked like a normal hoodie.
"What?" Izuku blushed.
However, Inko's expression changed as she looked sad and bothered by something. "The terrible thing I said kept bothering me. I gave up back then. But you didn't give up. You kept chasing your dream, didn't you?" Inko said as she recalled the time when she couldn't tell Izuku that he could become a hero. She began to tear up."Even when your father had passed, you were always there for me, and I...I just gave up, but now look at you at the top of your class and pushing forward like a real champ!" She said with a smile
"Mom..."The boy just smiled. "Guess this will be my hero costume! I'll carry Dad and you with this hoodie!"
Which brought Inko a smile before the tear dusk broke."Oh, my baby!!"
"Mom!! No, the neighbours will complain again! And I don't want to get a new hoodie wet!! And if you start crying, then I'm gonna start crying!" He said as his mother showed the boy in her tears.
Flashback over
Izuku jogged through the tunnel as he was a little behind everyone else. It took him a little more time to get into his costume that he was reminiscing, so he had to hurry or everyone would wonder where he was. He finally entered Ground Beta.
His costume consisted of fingerless gloves, and his hoodie with knee, and elbow pads. He also had his red shoes.
"This is it, my hero costume!" Izuku thought with pride.
Uraraka, Ashido, Jirou, and others turned to the greenate.
"Hey, Dekiru."Ochako said as she walked to him with a bright smile ."Cool costume! Not too much makes sense your clothes disappear when you transform."
"Uraraka..."Izuku said his face went red from the sight of her hero outfit.
The girl had a blush of embarrassment as he looked at the skin-tight costume.
"U-Uh yeah! L-Looks great!" His voice cracked as he said fidgetily.
"Thanks, Dekiru." She said with a smile, her permanent pink blush reddened a little more. He then felt a poke and turned to see Ashido, who was giving the boy a Cheshire cat smile and batted her eyes at him."Midori... How do you think I look?"
Midoriya blushed his face, turning red."I-I-I uhh..."
"Tehehehe, I like teasing you, Midori," Ashido said with a grin. "But you look really nice. I like your bunny ears." She said her teasing tone replaced with a nervous one.
"Your is... loud, "Midoriya said, which caused the girl to blink before he said. "But it suits you I-I-I like it."
The girl's face turned lilac, trying not to become flustered, and decided to tease the boy." Wow, you're a flirt, Midori~"
This is when the boy realized."Wait, "Midori"?"
"Oh, uh... well since Jirou and Uraraka call you by a nickname, I thought it would be cool if I gave you one. Why don't you like it?" Ashido asked the boy.
"N-No, I'm not used to getting nicknames..." Before he paused."Okay, I'm not used to getting nicknames that are not degrading."
Before the girl could ask questions, he soon looked and saw Yaoyorozu's costume. "She did say she needs exposed skin to use her quirk."
Yaoyorozu glanced over at the boy. "Pretty simplistic, but I guess he doesn't need much protection with his transformations, and from yesterday, he doesn't seem to keep the clothing he wears..."The girl looked carefully at him looking at his shoes in particular. "Are those...quirkless reds? B-But why would he have those? He's clearly not quirkless. Must be my mistake. I was wrong about our teacher. I could be wrong about him."
Midoriya was blushing as he noticed Yaoyorozu somewhat staring at him. Which wasn't missed by some of the girls and guys. Midoriya then noticed Jirou's costume, and if he was being honest out of all the girls' costumes, it looked the most comfortable."Whoa, Jirou, your costume is amazing!"
The girl blushed she honestly thought her costume was pretty plain in comparison with the other girls, which exemplified their figures."U-Uh thanks yours is pretty cool, though. That 10 is kinda misleading. You don't have 10 forms anymore."
Midoriya scratched behind his head."Yeah, I guess it kinda is,"
Mineta, who was looking at the girls with lustful eyes, gave a thumbs up. "I love this school."
Hagakure walks up to her friend Ashido, Midoriya notices the girl's costume and blushes. The boys saw she had a pair of gloves and boots and blushed.
"Hagakure your costume is..."Kaminari said in embarrassment.
The girl scratched behind her head from her eyes." Yeah, it's super embarrassing," the girl said."My quirk doesn't turn off. Clothing will kinda make my costume mute."
Midoriya looked in confusion. "What about DNA in coated costumes? They use your hair to make your costume work with your quirk."
The girl seemingly looked down."Those only work for transformation or quirks that can turn off."
Yaoyorozu nodded. "I looked into it too it works for some emitters as well, but not all quirks. If it did clothes, the costume would either be permanently invisible alongside her. And that in itself brings a whole lot of problems. My quirk, even though it isn't permanent, I tried getting the hair, but it still clothing still has to follow the laws of physics to an extent."
"Oh, so that's why Midnight still uses her that needs to tear but because the costume needs to follow some logic, regardless if she were to use a DNA costume the gas she releases will still be constricted by the clothing," Midoriya said, which got the girl to nod.
"My costume will still rip even though if I made it with DNA costume, despite what our superhero society looks like, we can't just make costumes that suit everyone."
Midoriya nodded as well as some boys.
"Oh, then completely invisible clothing would be able to be made," Iida said in his costume.
"Yeah, I knew a guy whose skin was indestructible. He can't turn it off either, and clothes would frequently would get destroyed in battle."Ojiro added on.
"When and if technology can adapt to mutant, then hopefully I can actually get my own costume without causing trouble." Hagakure said her voice till then."I will just have to deal with it! And though I don't have normal protection, I'm still going to be a hero!"
This made some people smile, and Kirishima began to cry. "So manly!!"
All Might who saw the costume of his protege was... nervous? "Hisashi, please tell me for the love god you didn't make that hoodie out of alien technology, right? Yeah, it's probably fine. Yep. Totally A.O.K. But I know Hisashis made that for the man who worked himself in making that for you. "
All Might then noticed that everyone was there, so he began to give his instructions and explain the exercise. "Now, it's time for combat training!"
"Sir! This is a battle centre from the Entrance Exam, so will we be conducting urban battles again?" Tenya asked, and Izuku recognized him from his voice and hand movements. And that is because Tenya had knight armour for a Hero Costume. Izuku had to admit that Tenya's costume looked cool and suited his personality.
"No, we're going to move ahead two steps. Most of the time, fighting villains takes place outside, but if you look at the total numbers, atrocious villains appear indoors at a higher rate. Imprisonment, house arrest, backroom deals. In this society filled with Heroes, truly intelligent villains hide in the shadows! For this class, you'll be split into villains and heroes and fight 2-on-2 indoor battles."
"Without basic training?" Tsuyu asked, wondering if they were up to the task.
"This is a real battle to understand those basics! However, the key this time is that there's no robot you can just beat up."
"How will wins and losses be determined?" Momo questioned.
"Can we beat them up anyway?" Bakugo asked, hoping to blast whoever his opponent was, silently hoping it was Izuku.
"Will the punishment be expulsion like with Mr. Aizawa?" Ochaco asked as she didn't want to experience that kind of pressure again.
"How shall we be split up?" Tenya questioned.
"Isn't this cape crazy?" Aoyama said randomly.
All Might began to become overwhelmed as he wasn't used to being asked like 10 questions at once. He was a novice when it came to teaching. "I'll answer all of your questions! Now listen here." All Might brought out his teaching notes.
"A script?" Izuku thought with a sweat drop as he found amusement in his mentor's antics.
"The situation is that the Villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. The heroes are trying to dispose of that. The heroes need to catch the villains or get the nuclear weapon back in the allotted time. The villains need to protect the nuclear weapon for the whole time or catch the heroes." All Might explained.
"This situation feels very American," Izuku commented.
All Might brought out a yellow box. "Teams and opponents will be determined by drawing lots!"
"They're being decided so haphazardly?" Tenya asked. He thought the selection would be more organized.
"Pros often have to create makeshift teams with Heroes from other agencies. So maybe that's why. We need to always be prepared to team up with another Hero and work with them if the situation asks for it." Izuku pointed out, and All Might was happy to see his successor's analytic mind already working.
Tenya nodded his head as he understood Izuku's point. "I see. The discernment to look ahead... Please excuse my rudeness!" Tenya said as he bowed.
"It's fine! Let's hurry up and do this quickly!" All Might bellowed as the students went and drew their lots to see who they were paired up with.

Team J- Eijirou Kirishima and Mashirao Ojiro
"Damn it, why didn't I get any girls!!" Screamed the pervetic midget, Midoriya just sweat dropped.
"Hey Jirou, maybe after class, if you're not busy, we could go and get some lunch."
"Yeah, no thanks. "The girl sighed, looking over at Midoriya. "Sorry, you got stuck with the pervert Green we would have made an awesome team."
"Uraraka, I hope we'll work efficiently and effectively!"
Uraraka rapidly nodded. "I was hoping to be with Dekiru, but Iida will be just as good as Dekiru plus with his speed. I know we will win!"
"Bakugou"
The blonde turned around to see his teammate. He was surprised to see the boy with white and red hair. Everyone widened.
"Wait, the son of Endeavor and the second place are both on a team?!"Hagakure said in shock.
"Feel bad for the guys who will be going against them."
Yaoyorozu looked at the team and honestly kinda hoped her new friend wouldn't be going against them."I hope Midoriya doesn't go against them, Bakugou seems to have a grudge against him, and Todoroki is a prodigy even though I don't think I could take them. The best and only logical would be to treat. That's the safest option."
All Might put his hands in two boxes, a white one labelled HERO and a black one labelled VILLAIN. "The first teams to fight will be... " All Might dramatically took his hands out, and in his hands appeared a black ball labelled "D" and a white ball labelled "A."... these guys! Team A will be the Heroes, and Team D will be the..."All Might slowly realized the teams." ...Villains."
Midoriya and Mineta looked terrified.
"I'm sorry, Young Midoriya, but it seems that fate has other plans for you today. All Might thought as he had an idea of how bad the relationship between these two was, and with Todoroki, if he was trained by his father, this would be a difficult battle for him.
Izuku and Bakugo both gasped. They didn't expect to be fighting each other so soon. Today is the day I show you that I've surpassed you, Kacchan. Izuku thought as his mind was already forming a plan.
"PERFECT! I finally get to crush Deku with my own hands and show him that he's just a pebble in my way!"
Unfortunately he said this out loud the concern only grew as the boderline psychotic gin. Momo could already see he was going to go where over the top.
"Hmm.. Midoriya? From the rumours and yesterday's test, he's clearly a powerful foe, but.. we're playing at different levels. He may have the power, but I have the training." Todoroki thought.
Everyone winced before looking at Midoriya and Mineta. Feeling sympathy for both of them. Midoriya summed his feelings to the whole situation in two words.
"Ah, man."
"This going to be... massacre. "Kaminari said before being jabbed in the sides by an ear jack.
"Hey! We're all thinking about it."
"Everyone else, head toward the monitor room."
"Yes, sir!"
Everyone felt worried Mineta nor Midoriya came off as warriors, Midoriya if anything seemed gentle and avoided conflict even with his powers. As they began passing, the boys headed towards the monitor room.
"Hopefully, All Might will stop the match before it gets out of hand."Yaoyorozu thought.
"Y'know, there's no shame in giving up, heroes."
"Yeah, totally backing down from a fight won't make us think less of you," Ashido said, worried especially about how the two interacted with the short interactions.
Midoriya slumped. Everyone already counted him out.
"Dekiru."
"Huh?"
"Kick their butts!"She said with a smile and thumbs up.
"Y-You actually think I can win this?"
"That's why I call you Dekiru because you can do it!"
The boy just smiled before cracking his knuckles and following All Might to the building.
"Everyone else, head toward the monitor room."
"Yes, sir!"
"Young Midoriya, remember when I said you have terrible luck?"
"Yes?"
"I think my point has just been proven,"
Midoriya just sweat-dropped. "Yeah, b-but I'm not going to lose.
All Might handed them communicators and told all of them about the prep phase. After this, he ushered the group of four to the building while taking the rest of the students to the observation room.
"Hey," Bakugou said the boy who was leaning against the wall opened his eyes slightly.
"Do you think Deku actually has a quirk?"
Todoroki looked at him for a moment."I'm not going to answer such a stupid question." The boy said in a monotone tone.
"But what from what I overheard you two have been acquainted for a while. But judging from your question, you don't know his range of abilities."
Bakugou just gritted his teeth in anger. Bakugo tightened his hands into fists.
Bakugo wasn't listening now, as he was deep in his thoughts, "Did he dare trick me for so long? That damn fucking nerd lied to me! He's just a damn pebble, he shouldn't be here, so... why is he here?! He doesn't deserve to be here!"
"I'll show him... I'll show him not to make a fool out of me!" Blood-red veins were in his eyes.
"Whatever that nerd's stupid worthless powers are I'll beat him regardless! You guard the bomb."
"No."
"What?"Bakugou asked annoyed as he turned to Todoroki.
"You stay back you will only be in my way," Todoroki said which angered the blonde boy. As he got into the boy's face and glared at him which he returned back.
"The nerds mine you stay here and guard the bomb! You icy nobody! Just because your daddy is number 2 that doesn't mean shit to me you are nothing to me!"
The room got intense they both glared, the mention of his father angered the dual-haired boy, soon the prep was coming to a close. Todoroki just shoved them before leaning on the bomb. "Don't blame what happens next. I'm going to win this."
"Tch." He said before turning away from the dual quirk user and a sinister look came across. "I'm gonna roast the little fuck today!"
[Outside the building]
Izuku was outside looking at the building he was shaking before composing himself. "Okay, Mineta I think I have a plan."
Mineta was shaking in fear."Y-Yeah I-I'm not fighting those two!" He said shivering. "I could feel the tenacity and that Bakugou seems violent."
Midoriya sweat drops "You're not wrong about the second one Kacchan is really violent."
"And besides I don't want to make a complete fool of myself getting completely destroyed it will be completely humiliating. And a hero should know when they can't win and make a tactical retreat and allow someone else with the right to handle the situation."
The memories of the sludge villain replayed in his mind and stayed back and waited for someone with the "Right quirk" to deal with the situation. Midoriya closed his eyes. Before sighing heavily.
"I'm not going to force you to come with me, but if you're not going to help then stay out of the building," Midoriya said as he began dialling the Omnitrix. The boy jolted up.
"Wait you're actually going to fight those two by yourself?!" Mineta asked in shock.
We're heroes it's an occupational hazard to run into danger. Someone once told me that I can't remember who, but... I'm not going to lose." As he tightened his gloves as it felt like his all demeanour changed. With resolve in his eyes.
He turned the faceplate and saw Ghostfreak. He contemplated before remembering that weird bloodlust moment and turning the dial to another alien. He slammed down in a burst of green he was...
"DITTO!?"
The black and white alien stood, his emerald eyes prominent as he looked at himself.
Midoriya could swear he suddenly heard the girls of his class squeal. Ditto shook his head side to side."Did you hear that?"
Mineta nodded.
[In the monitor room]
The girls were squealing. Particular Ashido, Hagakure, and Uraraka were jumping around looking at the adorable alien.
"That cute fuzzball is going against those monsters?!"
"I wanna keep him! He's so cute!"
"That's adorable!" Tsuyu said with a finger to her chin.
All Might, however, was smiling. "Never thought I'd hear those words again."
"This is going to be difficult. To say the least." Jirou said.
"Why you don't think he can win this?"Uraraka asked the punk girl."Dekiru has the power I'm sure he got this!"
"Oh no I don't doubt that Midoriya could take them on problem is that I've read what some of his forms could do, in terms of power the greenpatch got this with no sweat but this is a building he can't go all out without bringing the house down literally," Jirou said.
"Good point. The form Heatblast would be quite damaging to the building."Iida put in seeing first-hand what the flaming alien could do.
"Four Arms is way too big for the halls and he will restricted in his movements " Kirishima added on."And I really wanted to see him use the big guy!"
"What about Fasttrack? He could get in pretty quickly and touch the bomb." Asked Ojiro
"Yes. But Todoroki is the main problem. He doesn't know his range Fasttrack could become a liability, speedster often aren't the best when fighting people with cold abilities."
"Probably would be the best option Diamondhead, according to him his basically indestructible, having skin harder than diamond," Jirou added on.
"Isn't that a bit of an exaggeration?"Yaoyorozu asked.
Jirou just shrugged.
"But why would he pick that form it doesn't seem to pack a lot of power."Yaoyorozu added."Regardless I believe Todoroki's got the best chance."
"My money is on Dekiru!"Uraraka said.
[Back to the training exercises.]
"Ditto?! Ditto..."His face turned to a smile. "Ditto."Okay, he looked around the building."Okay, first off Ditto has somewhat rubber body properties, with One For All I should..."
He stood in front of the entrance of the building.
He went on one knee's fist to the ground took a deep breath in then let out some air. "One For All Alien Full Cowling!" The alien exploded into green electricity it crackled all around him. He launched into the building and smacked the wall before bouncing to the ground.
Bakugou and Todoroki were alerted to the noise, Bakugou left the room."That came from the entrance. I know it's the damn nerd!"
Ditto rubbed his head."Ow. Okay, so my body is a little bouncy, with increased speed and strength and as well as increased durability." As he looked over the cracked wall."Okay, I've got a plan."
He split himself into a few clones, which surprised everyone watching and brought some excitement to the girls, he came in numbers.
"Alright, Kacchan is coming for us." One of the Ditto's said.
"So we let him find one of us and keep him away from the bomb."
"While the others try and find Todoroki with the bomb we engage the enemy and take the bomb."
A Ditto put a finger to his finger. "Yes but how will we let the others know that we found Kacchan, unless..."
Everyone somewhat winced as they had the same idea."Okay, what about Todoroki?"
"With this form, we can move kinda like Gran Torino, we make as much noise as possible bouncing off the walls and the other clones will come over and help. Just avoid the noise with the explosions." The Ditto said sheepishly
A Ditto clasped the hands together."Alright boys let's go win this!"
"Yeah like Uraraka said we can do this!"
"I-I'm still worried about Kacchan but yeah l-let's do this!"
They put all their hands together."Alright boys we know what time! It is" They all smirked and gave a nervous smile. "Hero time!"
Before activating One For All and exploding at speeds in different directions
[Monitor room.]
"Woah! So fast!!"
Everyone watched as the Ditto's ran through the building each video could catch a Ditto with green electricity crackly around them.
"I didn't know Ditto could move like that," Uraraka said.
"It must be his second quirk at play, powering up his forms" Iida summed up.
[Back to the exercise.]
A Ditto was running through the room when he turned a corner as Bakugou came in then Ditto backflipped over him, Bakugou was surprised before the alien landed and looked at Bakugou.
"Found you." The Ditto said.
[Monitor room]
"He almost got the jump on him," Ojiro said in amazement.
"Sneak attack Bakugou? What kind of man pulls cheap crap like that?"Kirishima said.
"It's a good strategy! He's playing the part! Acting like a true villain."All Might said.
"But it didn't work Midori dodged it" Ashido said happy her friend was able to dodge the attack.
[Back to fight]
Bakugou who was crouched his hand on the ground where he attempted to blast the nerd he turned his red eyes staring at the alien. Glaring at the alien.
"Okay, I found him just get to let everyone else know...This going to hurt." He took a deep breathe in. "Hey Bakugou how does it feel being number 2?"
The blonde stood up he's hand crackling with explosions.
"Y'know for a guy who spouts about being number one you haven't been number one at anything since you got here have you?"
Bakugou clenched his teeth in anger an explosion charged right hook towards the alien Bakugou launched the attack." I won't hurt you so bad that they'll have to stop the fight just close enough!!"
The Ditto closed his eyes as Bakugou launched the explosion right to his shoulder sending the small alien flying back.
All the Ditto's felt the sudden pain in the shoulder. "Did you feel that?"
"Yeah. " They all clutched the shoulders. "I can recognize Kacchan's explosion anyway."
"I'll go help out the other me, it sounded like he might be on the second floor. You guys go find the bomb!"
They all nodded before blasting off in different directions.
Bakugou stood over the small alien and laughed like a villain."That's what you get Deku! You worthless, quirkless piece of shit! You think because you got some lucky points you're better than me!? I'm gonna beat your ass so everyone will see how worthless and weak you are! and that freak Levin won't be around to protect you!!"
The Ditto coughed before standing back up dusting himself off he took a fighting stance before realizing something."I-I'm not shaking? I'm not scared?" He looked straight into the eyes of Bakugou.
"You should've picked something else but all your forms are as worthless as you!!"
"Took you long enough."
"Huh, what are--"Bakugou was cut off with a fist to the face he was sent flying as the Ditto in front of him cocked his fist back and then sent a right hook towards him sending the explosion boy back he used his explosions to dodge another attack, he looked to see two Ditto's. Before landing.
The blonde looked angry. "Cloning that's all this one can..."He felt something wet dripping from his nose he touched it and saw it was blood. "Oh, now I'm definitely going to hurt ya!"
He launched a right hook before Bakugou's right hook could connect, Ditto countered by grabbing his right arm. The explosion boy gasped in shock as his feet were off the ground, Ditto lifted him off the ground and then brought him down to the ground painfully.
As the other Ditto bounced to the ceiling then similar to Gran Torino blasted downwards and punched right in the gut the boy widened as he coughed out some spit he looked to see the Ditto's in a fighting stance.
[Monitor room]
"Woah Midoriya's got some moves!!"
"When he got hit the first time I was kinda worried but look at him now!"
"Corning a guy that kinda feels a little unmanly but it seems Mineta isn't helping so go Midoriya!"
"He let himself get injured informing the others now they can focus on the objective of finding the bomb without having to worry about Bakugou." All Might thought.
[Back to the fight.]
"I analyzed every amazing hero, even you. I wanted to learn everything I could about them. It was all in the notebook you burned and threw away. You can call me Deku, but I'm not the same helpless, defenceless kid anymore! Do you hear me?! I've changed! From now on, Deku means nothing to me!" The green-haired boy turned alien shouted with his fists up and his face having an intense look to it.
Bakugou clutched his stomach in pain before getting back up."Did he read my moves?! How his not that good! He's just a worthless pebble!"
He clenched his teeth."Deku you bastard!! I'll KILL YOU!!"
One Ditto launched himself to the corner of the ceiling he's fingers dug into the wall, Bakugou rushed to the Ditto that had still been on the same ground level, he released an explosion, and the small alien ducked under the attack, before performing a roundhouse kick to the blonde, the Ditto launched himself at Bakugou, Bakugou used an explosion to dodge the attack before the other Ditto landed a clean hit on him send him back to the ground.
Bakugou still reeling from the attack was surprised as the Ditto came back and punched him in the face backflipping as the second Ditto swept under his leg causing him to crash to the ground as the Ditto was coming to land another attack sent an explosion but the other Ditto intercepted him as the room was filled with smoke.
"You okay?"
"I'm you ya idiot if I wasn't neither would you!" The Ditto said while coughing.
"Don't be so rude! Now our moves are working so far."
"yeah, we're getting some hits in. We can't let him take one of us down."The Ditto said in a hushed tone so Bakugou wouldn't hear.
Bakugou slowly got up he's body aching from the hits."When did he get this good?! When the hell did the nerd know martial arts?! H-How the fuck am I losing to...to him!"
Before he let out a scream
"Argh!! You have been hiding that stupid quirk for me, haven't you!!"
Ditto froze before turning to Bakugou, and his eyes widened.
"Huh?! Admit you have been hiding that quirk and looking down at me, haven't you!?"
Bakugou said with a glare.
Ditto took a moment as the memories of Kevin defending him, how much trouble he'd gotten just defending the quirkless nerd. Midoriya would later learn after his fight with Kevin. Most of the staff had been fired for allowing such actions to take place. This only happened recently as the investigation of Aldrea took months.
Midoriya was not aware of this he only found out a few weeks later after he got his acceptance later, and teachers were punished for the actions.
Though it didn't change the fact that his friends, his best friend was missing, he hadn't seen him in months he didn't even know he was alive. Now Bakugou accused him of lying and hiding his quirk just to shove it in his face.
The alien shook in anger as one Ditto launched himself at Bakugou with a "HOW DARE YOU?!" As with an 11% full cowl blasted straight towards the blonde the sudden speed change caught the blonde off guard as he punched right in the face sending him flying across the corridor.
All Might in the monitor widened by the sudden change.
"You think I would hide the fact I had a quirk and watch my only friend get punished, ostracized, defending me just so I can flaunt it in your face!?"
Bakugou didn't say anything, just glared at the alien, he groaned in pain before slowly getting back up as he glared at the alien.
"I was quirkless! And I don't have to explain anything, especially not to you! I don't owe you anything! Despite what our teachers said, the world doesn't revolve around you." The Ditto spit out before splitting himself into more Dittos they all took a fighting stance, green electricity crackling around all of them.
Bakugou just popped his explosions he wanted to scream that he was lying, that
He had been tricking him, but despite what he thought he knew, the nerd wasn't lying he was quirkless. He probably wouldn't get an explanation.
Bakugou let a few explosions go off in his hands as he glared at the boy. The room was filled with 6 Ditto's with One For All crackling around them. As they launched at each other, Bakugou used his explosion to propel himself forward. With a battle cry, the battle ensued.
[With other Ditto's]
The Ditto's were scouting through the floors, with one Ditto he stopped at a particular door, he checked all the other rooms so as a joke pretended to fix an imaginary tie and politely knocked at the door.
Todoroki himself was leaning at the wall his eyes closed as then...
KNOCK*KNOCK*
Todoroki immediately went on guard. He opened his eyes looking at the door. He shrugged as all they did was knock. "Who is it?" Unsure if it was Bakugou or not.
The door suddenly blasted open as a black and white small creature walked out, green electricity crackling around him.
" Justice. "Ditto said with a serious expression that kinda made him look like an angry puppy.
Todoroki immediately crouched down put his hand on the floor and froze the entire building in the blink of an eye. As he let small ice breath.
Bakugou and the Ditto's who were battling it out were surprised by when the sudden place had ice covered in it. "That icy bastard did this?" His feet were trapped in some ice alongside the Ditto's.
[Monitor room]
Yaoyorozu looked amazed by the action she knew Todoroki was powerful. "I knew Todoroki was powerful, I hate to say it but Midoriya's chances were next to 0 from the beginning."
"Holy crap he froze the building?!"
"That's a recommended student for ya!"
[Back to the fight]
"Sorry, it's nothing personal we just--" Todoroki was cut off as he was punched in the face sending him flying across the room he immediately planted himself and clutched his sore cheek.
Bakugou crouched down with a malicious smile and blasted into himself into the air breaking free from the ice. The other Ditto's broke free as well. All the Ditto's looked at the ice before concluding. "He's on the fifth floor."
The other Ditto's who were searching for Todoroki blasted to the fifth floor. Everyone watched as the Ditto's were heading to the fifth floor.
[Monitor room]
"Woah!"
"He landed a hit on Todoroki!" Sato said watching with amazement.
"Wait he's going to take both of them on?!"
"Wait hold up how do all the clones know where the bomb is?!" Sero asked in confusion.
"Woah Midori is fighting both of them?!"
Yaoyorozu was also puzzled but looking now she can admit that she underestimated the boy. "Maybe I was wrong..."
"I knew he could do it!" Uraraka said with hope.
"The match isn't over yet!" Iida said though even he was impressed.
[Back to the fight]
Todoroki glared at the clone as soon as other clones entered the room.
Ditto thought "Ditto's rubber body plus One For All makes me like a bouncing ball and with this small room I can do this I can win!"
Todoroki got up as they stood side by side.
" You may have me outnumbered but you're outmatched."
Ditto just smiled, as he split into two. The two looked on with surprise and soon took a fighting stance. The two split again and again and till there were 8 ditto in the room all with One For All crackling around them.
One Ditto stepped out and pretended to have a lighter and cigarette as he lit the imaginary cigarette and pretended to blow a puff of smoke. In a mafia accent from those old movies, " Don't take this personally. It's just business. "
As he turned their backs to them and spoke to the many of Dittos, "Get'em boys."
Both Bakugou dealt with Ditto's bouncing all over the room, every time they would try and hit one they would have a blind spot where the Ditto would land a hit, the hallways and room allowed the alien to become green electricity that crackled throughout the room.
Todoroki tried trapping the aliens in ice but they were too fast and when he actually did trap them another one was freed from the icy prison and went for the attack, Bakugou's was moving faster the room was cold so to combat the weakness he moved faster through the room, this caused the clones to blast through the walls while fighting.
Todoroki was feeling his quirky effects and was getting annoyed by the small aliens, and the aliens weren't painless. "Enough"
As he released a massive glacier attack that ripped through the building as a massive ice glacier could be seen from the outside, as he let out a cold breath his body was shivering as he was glad at the iceberg.
-Sametime-
His right gauntlet glowed red.
Bakugo smirked. "THEY'RE LOADED."
"Kacchan... " Ditto said as he got into a fighting stance. The rest followed suit.
"Y'KNOW SOMETHING YOU DAMN NERD I OVERHEARD YA! IF I JUST KILL ONE OF YOU THEN THE REST WILL GO DOWN! SO I JUST GOTTA TAKE ONE OF YOU DOWN!!"
The Ditto widened as they acted quickly merging into Ditto that stood in front of him and gulped.
WITH ALL YOUR STALKING, YOU PROBABLY ALREADY KNOW, BUT MY QUIRK, EXPLOSION, LET ME SECRETE NITROGLYCERIN-LIKE SWEAT FROM THE SWEAT GLANDS ON THE PALM OF MY HAND AND MAKE IT EXPLODE. IF THEY MADE THIS THE WAY I ASKED, THEN THESE GAUNTLETS WILL STORE THE NITROGLYCERIN INSIDE THEM, AND... " Bakugo began to pull the firing pin on his grenade-like gauntlet.
"Don't tell me that's... Young Bakugo, stop! Are you trying to kill him?!" All Might yelled through the earpiece.
"OH, HE'LL BE FINE AS LONG AS HE DODGES!!"
"You have to be kidding me!" Izuku shouted as he knew what Bakugo was going to do. But he also knew that he couldn't stop him. His eyes widened in fear, he had no idea if he was going to survive this explosion.
At that moment, Bakugo pulled the firing pin and an explosion bigger than anything Izuku had ever seen Bakugo produce fired directly at him.
[Monitor room]
"No way.."Kaminari said as they all watched as Midoriya was seemingly blasted and encased in ice all at once.
"DEKIRU!/GREEN!"
"Midori... No. I can't watch this"She said covering her eyes.
"Sir the fight has gone too far you cancel this Midoriya will need medical immediately!!"Iida said with worry in his tone.
All Might noticed something that made him not cancel the match instead a smile
[Back to the fight]
Todoroki huffed and breathed heavily."I went overboard. But we still won the exercise."
As then the glacier began to crack Todoroki widened as the glacier cracked as the clones burst through, his body was cold as one clone grabbed him by the shoulders and slammed through the ground the dual quirk user grabbed the clone by the arm and began to in case it in ice.
Soon the other clones followed suit. Swine diving, saluting before they leapt into the hole, All the clones began to feel the arm suddenly feel cold but the alien pinning him didn't let go.
"C'mon hurry up you idiot!"
[With Bakugou]
Bakugou with a psychotic grin looked at the black smoke that engulfed the entire room."You should've picked a different form nerd! SOMEONE LIKE YOU NEVER DESERVED TO BE HERE!!"
Bakugou screamed at the black smoke thinking Midoriya was still there as then everyone widened as the ground beneath Bakugou cracked as a white fist flew from the ground and gave him an uppercut Bakugou right under his chin sending him flying into the air the clone split himself into another as he bounced before punching him the face.
Bakugou coughing out blood his body barely moving. "You'll never beat me! You.. will always be a useless Deku!"
"I wasn't trying to beat you." The Ditto said
Those words made All Might, Jirou, and Bakugou widened.
"I was distracting you."
"HERO..."
"No." Bakugou's pupil shrunk.
"...TEAM WINNNNNSS!!"
The Ditto's were breathing heavily, and let go of Todoroki before shaking off the ice. Todoroki got up before crouching down and melting the ice in his arm. He had a scowl on his face before melting the ice surrounding the building.
"Uh... good match. Todoroki." A Ditto said the boy only glanced at the alien. "Yeah, whatever."
Mineta outside playing with his balls...
Looked in surprise at the announcement."Wait... we won?!"
The Ditto's with Todoroki merged into one, as on the monitor could see a Ditto who crawled through a window and walked up and touched the bomb and now was leaning on it.
[Monitor room]
"He... He won."Sero said in surprise.
"The little guy actually did it!!"
"I thought Midoriya was kinda wimpy y'know, not the type to really get into fights but damn he proved me wrong! "Hagakure said.
"This is an important lesson never judge a book by its cover," Tokoyami said.
"Agreed." Shoji said."A powerful quirk and a strategist mind to add with it."
All Might soon ran out of the room seeing a monito with Bakugou.
Bakugou himself looked at himself. "I-I-I lost. Deku beat him. H-He won?! He beat me again?!" his breathing began to become heavy, he began sweating, and his pupils shrunk as his mind tried to comprehend that he lost.
"Kacchan?" Ditto asked in concern. The boy looked on the verge of a panic attack as Bakugou looked at the alien.
"Are you okay?" Ditto asked.
Bakugou widened as those were the same he used when he fell in the river, that's when All Might came."Don't worry young Midoriya. I'll take young Todoroki and young Bakugou to the infirmary to meet up with your classmates."
"But--"
All Might whispered in his ear. "Listen young Midoriya I know you're worried about young Bakugou but I think you're the last person he wants to see right now is you."
Ditto nodded before exiting the building's other Ditto soon followed as they saw Mineta as he came up to them."Hey, we won!"
They all gave him a deadpan expression before bursting into laughter. "Yeah "we" won."
"We took on Bakugou and Todoroki. We got frozen and nearly exploded."
"Yeah "We" won. That's hilarious. Anyways Mineta let's head back."
"Ugh fine. Wait what about Todoroki and Bakugou?"
"They are headed to the infirmary, "A ditto said while picking his nose.
Mineta gulped in fear," He sent both to the infirmary?!"
They got to the monitor room and everyone charged towards the clones. Ashido was the first person as she hugged the alien, which due to his height was right into the girl's chest as she jumped and up and down with the alien. Usually, Midoriya would be a blushing mess but Ditto has a more childish outlook and is more irritated than anything.
"You were amazing Midori!" Ashido said.
"Yeah dude you totally killed it out there dude" Jirou said giving a high five to the alien.
"Dekiru that was incredible!"Uraraka said as she hugged the cute alien, the first time she saw a dude she hugged the alien and wasn't going to miss her chance.
Yaoyorozu."You were incredible Midoriya. I underestimated greatly."The girl bowed. Which the alien returned in kind which the alien bowed in return."Don't worry about it."
"Now"The Ditto then turned to the other two Ditto's."Let's turn back."
The Ditto's nodded as they were about to go back, Uraraka and Ashido pouted."No." As they clutched onto the two aliens.
"What? Wh-What do you mean "no"?" The Ditto asked in surprise.
"You're way too cute do really expect us to let go of this cuteness?" Ashido asked.
"YES! IT'S ME!!"

She looked all over and saw the hoodie had turned invisible alongside her, her boots and gloves were visible.
Kaminari gulped before he asked the question."Uh... Hagakure, please tell me you can make things invisible."

Before she took it off as it became visible again, Yaoyorozu naturally curious took the hoodie and put it on everyone watched the hoodie as it conformed to her body type she created something for everyone instead of tearing the sleeve it passed through
