"Wow," john said. "Well, anyway, i need to prepare the manor to receive new guests from the ohts empire. No doubt that they are wondering what happened to the previous one they sent here," john said, before he went back into the manor.

Now

Izumi was carrying eri in a cradle carry as she walked to the pavilion, unaware of what was happening. The city had gotten two visitors. One went to the commotion in front of what looked like a rather large and richly done pavilion. The other went straight to the manor of the ruling family.

The guest knocked and politely waited. They didn't have to wait for long, before the door was opened, revealing merazophis. "Greetings, sir. Would you happen to be the guest that my master has been anticipating?" merazophis asked. "Indeed, i am," the guest said. "Then, please, follow me," merazophis said, as he stood to the side, to allow the person to enter. After following merazophis, the two of them entered the study.

"Master, your guest has arrived," merazophis said. "Thank you, merazophis. Now, can you please go watch sophia? Seras is busy, and i will be busy with this meeting, and i don't know how long it will take," john asked. "Certainly, master," merazophis bowed, before he shut the door and went to watch over the young mistress.

John turned towards the guest. "You have certainly come a long way from the ohts empire, pontiff dustin," john said. The person, revealed to be the head of the opposing religion, simply smiled. "I have, because i felt the need to personally investigate what happened to our representative," dustin said. "I see," john said. "I'm afraid i don't know much about it, myself, and what i DO know is hearsay. The only one that can answer that question, is the one that dealt with him, AND his assistant," jon said.

"Are they dead?" dustin asked. "Nono. from what merazophis said, as he investigated the matter personally, they weren't killed," john said, and dustin relaxed. "Then who dealt with him?" dustin asked. "The spider monster that my civilians have been worshiping as the divine spider. With all that's happened, i'm beginning to think that they're right, despite me knowing otherwise," john said.

"Where is this 'divine beast'?" dustin asked. "You came from the front entrance?" john asked. Dustin nodded, so john continued. "The pavilion is over there, and a lot of people have been gathering there, to worship the spider," john said.

Dustin had to think about it for a bit. "You mean that massive amount of people i saw as i came into this city?" he asked. "If you like, i have a view of its home right there," john said, as he pointed to a particular window. Dustin went over to the window, and was SHOCKED at how many people were worshiping the spider.

"I'd like to meet this spider, if only to find out what it did to the noble we sent," dustin said. "I'll come with you, as i'd like to know what happened, myself," john said. The two of them then left the manor, and went over to where the spider resided.

Earlier, while dustin was in the meeting

A teen girl with a white streak of hair was gently pushing her way through the crowd in front of the 'divine spider' she heard people calling it. Once she managed to get through, she was surprised by what she saw. She saw a spider monster that had a green spider lower body the size of a [great taratect]. however, the difference was the fact that it had the torso and upper body of an extremely beautiful woman with red eyes and a large chest, with long messy green hair in a poorly done braid, sticking out of the spider head.

However, what was more surprising than that was the fact that the spider monster was carrying a small child with wings and a small horn in the middle of its forehead with its human arms in a cradle carry as she hummed to the child. Suddenly, the spider woman stopped humming and looked at her. "Well? Are you going to talk, or are you just going to stare at me, dumbfounded?" she asked in a soft and gentle voice.

Shaking her head a bit, and blushing in embarrassment, the girl opened her mouth to speak, but was spoken over just then. "Excuse us, please let us through," a man's voice carried out. The crowd of people parted ways to allow two men to pass them. One was the father of the girl from the carriage, and the other looks like the leader of a religion.

"Can i help you two?" izumi asked. The religious guy looked surprised, but he quickly shook it off. "I have a question for you: what happened to the man that appeared here recently?" he asked. Izumi had to think about it.

"Was there anything special about his appearance?" she asked. "Well, he was a bit on the chunky side, and he loved to wear purple," the priest said. My eyes light up in recognition. "Oh, him," she said simply.

"You remember him?" the priest asked. "Hard not to. He was snide, rude and demanded things of other people. Not to mention, he called this charming city a 'dump of a city'," she explained. The lord's eye twitched.

"Did you happen to kill him?" the priest asked. "No, though i was sorely tempted to do so. He kept DEMANDING that i go with him, and that i had no choice. If that crazy mage, that summoner and all those soldiers that burned down my latest nest while i went to get food back home could not get me to obey them, what chance did that fat idiot have?" she asked. She would've said 'fat bastard', but eri was awake.

"So, where did you take him?" the priest asked. In response, izumi used her webbing to make a baby sling that'll hold eri to her chest, but also function as a bit of a hammock, so eri could sleep with no fear of being dropped. Now that her hands were free, she grabbed the shoulder of the lord and the priest, and teleported to where she put the fat guy and his assistant. The priest and the lord looked around, trying to find the guy, but then they saw the spider woman pointing up. When they see the webbing and two people, they were shocked.

"Please bring them down," the priest asked. Shrugging, she said "at least you were polite when asking," and climbed the tree, while making sure that eri didn't fall. Upon seeing her, the fat bastard tried to yell at her, but a cold glare of fury stopped him. "If you yell, and wake up my daughter," izumi pointed at a sleeping eri. "Then, consequences be damned, i WILL drop you, and kill you. Understood?"

The guy nodded in a VERY timid manner, then she proceeded to carry the two back down, where she literally dropped them at the feet of the priest. "Well, i hope you have a VERY good reason to nearly start a WAR between our two countries," the priest said in an angry voice, causing the fat guy to freeze and hesitatingly look up at the source of the voice, just to see an angry pontiff of his religion.

"You can discuss it later, AFTER i take the four of you back to my pavilion, so you can leave," izumi said. The priest grabbed the two webbed up idiots, while izumi grabbed the priest and the lord by the shoulder and teleported back to her pavilion.

Once they were back at her pavilion, she glared at the webbed up idiots. "Now, get those two out of here, before i do something that i will most likely NOT regret, should they wake up my daughter," izumi growled softly. "Thank you for not killing them," the religious guy said.

Izumi nodded as the religious guy took the webbed up idiots with him. She then looked at the teen girl, as she held eri in her arms. "Now, what do YOU want?" izumi asked. The teen girl shook her head a bit, to clear her thoughts. "I'd like to speak with you privately," she said.

"We can speak, when the day's prayers are finished, which should be in a few hours," izumi said.

With the teen girl

"I can't believe i need to wait a few hours to speak with her," i complain in my head. I was suddenly hit with curiosity, so i used [appraisal] on the spider.

I was surprised that this spider girl had THREE ruler skills. Suddenly, the [appraisal] screen i was using glitched and said 'cannot be appraised. I looked at the spider girl, and winced at the glare she was sending me. I used [appraisal] on the little girl, and her species surprised me.

Species: alicorn

Name: unknown/eri

Finishing the [appraisal], i was stumped, that i was meeting TWO reincarnations. "We WILL be speaking later," the spider woman, izumi, said to me in a tone that, while soft and gentle, held a layer of steel that brooked NO argument.

With the lord of the city and the priest

"Thank you for hosting me," duncan said. "You are welcome, and thank you for grabbing that idiot," john said. "I AM NOT AN IDIOT, YOU MORON!" the guy yelled. John stopped and glared at him. "You tried to get my country involved in a war, insulted my city and are currently insulting the lord of this city," john said. "Like it or not, you ARE an idiot. You are lucky that i don't order your execution," john said in a too-calm voice.

The fat guy got quiet after that.

Three hours later, shortly after the prayers were done for the day

The teen girl was in seiza, while izumi was glaring at her, her arms holding eri. "It is INCREDIBLY rude to use [appraisal] on another sentient person, unless they are in a situation like life-and-death, or if they give you permission to do so," izumi said. The teen girl winced at that reminder. "Sorry," she said.

Before either the teen girl or izumi could speak, a tiny stomach gurgled. Izumi giggled at her red faced daughter. "You hungry, eri?" izumi asked in japanese. Eri timidly nodded, before she said, "yes, mama. I'm hungry," in japanese.

Izumin put eri in the baby sling on her chest, allowing eri to snuggle with her mother. With her hands free, she used her webbing to grab a bit of fruit. She used the tip of her scythe foreleg to cut a small portion off the fruit, before she gave the bit of fruit to eri. "Here you go, eri," izumi said to her daughter with a gentle smile. Eri grabbed it, and said "thank you, mama," before she started to eat the bit of fruit.

Izumi turned to the girl. "Now, who are you, and why did you want to speak to me?" izumi asked. A look of realization appeared on the girl's face. "oh, right, i'm ariel. One of my daughters started complaining that one of HER children wouldn't listen to her," the girl, ariel, said.

"What is your daughter, and where is she?" izumi asked. "The queen taratect in the elroe labyrinth," ariel said bluntly. Izumi groaned and pinched the spot between her eyes in irritation. "Damnit, mother," she said softly. Too softly for eri to hear, but ariel heard it just fine. "So, YOU are the one she was complaining about," ariel said.

Just then, izumi had a bad feeling. *BOOM* there was a MASSIVE explosion. She rushed outside, and saw that an army was invading. Izumi started using her webbing and [black bullet] to kill the invading force. After a few hours, izumi managed to get the invading force to dwindle down enough so that the townspeople can evacuate.

She looked at the manor. "[clairvoyance]" she cast, and she saw elves going into the manor. "Elves, again!" izumi snarled. She took a breath to calm down. She looked down at eri with a loving gaze. "Mama has to go to work for a bit, eri. I will be back as soon as i can," she said in japanese, before giving her a kiss on her forehead, before she took off the sling, with eri in it, and gave it to ariel. "Keep my daughter safe," she stated.

Before ariel could answer, izumi teleported.
