Upon arriving at Bowditch, SpongeBob said. "This is it, Patrick, the moment everything changes. You've got the recommendation letter?"
Patrick held up the letter, which he put back on the envelope, which he put in his back pocket, which he patted.
"We're ready!" exclaimed SpongeBob.
"Ying! OOF!" Patrick exclaimed as he bumped into...Erika, who said. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you back there."
Patrick quickly pulled the envelope containing the recommendation letter from his pocket, relieved that it was not damaged.
"No harm done." he said, putting the envelope back in his pocket.
"Are you looking for a job here, too?" SpongeBob asked Erika, who replied while picking up Wolfie. "Oh, yes. See, I'm hoping to get out of working for my boss, Madame Carp and find something that's more to my liking and pay off my parents' debt, like, say...Drama?"
"Oh, that sounds interesting." said SpongeBob.
"Yeah, you'll probably like Miss Musante just as much as Nathan did." added Patrick.
"Nathan? Is he in her class?" asked Erika.
"Eh, not exactly." replied SpongeBob. "He actually took it for six weeks last year, part of Bowditch's elective wheel."
"Oh, of course." said Erika. "What are you two here for, anyway?"
"Well, we're hoping to be close to Nathan as part of Bowditch's...HALL MONITOR PATROL!" SpongeBob exclaimed in his manly voice, which turned to normal as he and Patrick went inside the office. "Best of luck to ya."
"You, too." said Erika.
At the same time, on the other side, Anneliese, Julian and Serafina had walked up the ramp and past the tennis court, catching their first glimpse of Bowditch.
"It's so...humble." said Anneliese, who heard some peeps, coming from a bunch of baby chicks that came from the pen.
Serafina purred mischievously at them, but Anneliese held her back, "Nuh-uh-uh, Serafina."
She, then, kneeled down, scooping up the little chicks.
"Hello there, is that where you came from?" she said, motioning her heads towards the pen.
One of the chicks peeped with a nod.
Anneliese stood up, placing the chicks on top of the fence, while saying. "There you go."
As she set out some seed for the chicks, Anneliese heard mooing coming from Maggie, Mrs. Caloway, and Grace.
"And here you go." she said, holding up three apples, one of which the cows ate with delight.
"Never seen a petting zoo inside a school before." said Julian. "Must be a first."
Inside the office, Mrs. Chinn looked at the recommendation letter, with Rolf and Jimmy by her side, then said to SpongeBob and Patrick. "Well, gentlemen, everything seems to be well in order."
"Yes, indeed." agreed Rolf. "Rolf sees a bright future for the two for you."
"AHHH!" SpongeBob and Patrick gasped with delight.
SpongeBob, then, cleared his throat, then asked. "So, when will we be notified?"
"Once everything's set and done," Mrs. Chinn said as she put the letter back in the envelope, which she gave to Jimmy. "You should be able to hear back from us within a..."
She stopped herself, seeing that there was one hall monitor short.
"Where's Jonny?"
Before anyone could respond, a voice came from behind the clinic door. "Jonny 2x4 and Plank are indisposed at the moment, but I..."
As the voice, a figure pounced from the clinic to the main desk, revealing himself to be a superhero with a watermelon on his head. His sidekick is a board of wood tied to a broom.
"...Captain Melonhead, and Splinter the Wonderwood, will let them know!"
Without another word, Captain Melonhead leapt from the desk and ran out the main doors.
"Is the circus in town?" Rolf asked Jimmy, who only shrugged in response.
Meanwhile, SpongeBob and Patrick had signed two visitor passes for himself and Patrick, then said to Mrs. Chinn. "We'll see ourselves out, Mrs. Chinn. Hope to hear back from you soon."
As they made their way towards the other doors, Erika walked up to the main desk, asking. "Excuse me. I heard there were some open positions here."
