Chapter Ten
At the location of the alien lizards. Several of the new captives had died from the DNA serum to have them change into lizards. However, only Commander RinTan had severed with his body partially changed.
Other survival members from the Canadien and other vessels were in another section recovering from their ordeal. They had heard a great deal about another human named Captain Lee Crane having been rescued to wind up back with his own people.
Commander Rintan having been thrown in with the group needed to find an escape. He found one with the help of a partially changed woman named Janice from the Laura Ann freighter one of the first to be taken.
Janice was asked to help the commander to get off the cold hard ground. He had been feeling slightly dizzy when he was able to stand up correctly without further problems. "Commander, I will and others are trying to escape this place with the alien lizards trying to take over the Earth once again. I heard that help is on its way to rescue us including yourself and your comrades from the Russian submarine."
Shaking his head feeling a little strange at first. "I heard that most or all of my crew is dead entering from the transport to this place, along with the change from the serum into one of the lizards." He remarked with Janice handing him a small cup of cold water before continuing with their journey.
"I am truly sorry." She says with one of her partially changed hands onto his human shoulder.
"I know you are Commander. Now come with me to gather up with the others so that we can get out of here using other countries' devices to reach the surface of the North Atlantic."

Meanwhile, Doctor Alverez had been checking on his patient from inside the security ward with Captain Lee Crane having to be restrained for now. Using the stethoscope on Lee Crane in making damn sure his patient was doing well.
However, he had gotten a scare when he lifted the white blanket off Lee's arm to see the terrible change of a lizard. It had seemed that the alien's serum had been changing Lee's DNA totally. "OMG! " Doctor Alverez cried out.
Two of his corpsmen inside the security area were horrified as well. They needed to advise the security team as well before Doctor Alverez called Admiral Harriman Nelson inside the Control room.
CONTROL ROOM
Kowalski, Patterson, and Ron all experts when it comes to radar, sonar, and communications had been asked by Nelson to search for the rogue submarine that had disappeared.
They had been trailing the ION trail straight to the same area of the missing vessels and crewmembers.
Patterson came over after coming from the radio shack having received a signal. "Sir, There's something strange going on!" he had said to have the Admiral's attention.
Turning to face Patterson somewhat out of sorts. "What is it Patterson?" he asked with Kowalski having come up with something on his long-range radar screen.
"Sparks is receiving a strange beam signal from a possible diving bell telling him that survivors from the missing vessels have been able to escape from the lizard aliens. They are giving Sparks the coordinates of their location." Patterson hands Admiral Nelson the location.
Nelson will read the coordinates seeing that it's the same the Seaview is heading in search of the missing vessels and crewmembers. "I just don't believe this at all everyone. Just our luck to run into the missing crewmembers!" he cried out in his response.
Commander Anderson came over after coming from the officer's level. "Admiral, I will have engineering change course and have everyone on standby in the missile room to retrieve the diving bell."
"We need to have the entire sickbay ready as well with Doctor Alverez to take charge," Nelson said strongly.
"Aye, sir." Commander Anderson will say that Commander Morton will be walking into the Control room from the aft hatchway.
"Sir, do you want me, Patterson, and the rest of the frogmen to check the area once the diving bell is pulled in by the wrench?" Kowalski will ask the Admiral even though Morton and Anderson were inside the Control room.
"I do, Kowalski. Just be sure to be extremely careful with your movements once you are outside of the Seaview?" Nelson responded.
"Aye, sir." Kowalski looked over at Patterson knowing full well they weren't liking the idea of coming up close with the lizard aliens.
The both of them walked away to get things together before leaving in their scuba. Meanwhile, the radar system had been keeping track of the diving bell moving closer to the Seaview.
Ron working the radar at the moment called out to Commander Morton that the diving bell had been making contact further with them.
Sparks calling over the intercom says to Commander Morton that he has a Russian speaking partial English asking for help along with the others on board the diving bell. There were eight of them inside all cramped inside.
Grabbing the microphone from behind the radar station. "Sparks, let me speak with the Russian inside the diving bell?" he says with a slight lump in his throat.
"Go ahead, Sir. You're be speaking to Commander RinTan of a Russian submarine that was taken by the lizard creatures into the lire." Sparks says calmly turning up the volume.
"Commander TinTan this is Commander Morton of the Seaview. How soon before you're able to reach the Seaview?" he asked with Admiral Nelson coming into the Control room.
"Ten minutes." He said in broken English.
Morton looks over at Admiral Nelson waiting to be told the news. "Sit tight along with the rest of your group. The Seaview will be at your location to take the diving bell aboard the submarine."
"Excellent, Commander. However, I must warn you that most of us have been partially changed into a lizard alien. These creatures were able to use some type of a DNA serum to change us." He cried out over the communications device inside the diving bell.
"Don't worry, our doctors will be able to help. It won't be long before all of you are on board the Seaview." Morton mentions before breaking the communications with the Russian Commander.
