Required Scenario (s):

-You didn't choose to cut off Dylan's hand as Ryan as a result Dylan is still infected

-Abi shot Nick, result: she wasn't beheaded by Nick.

-Dylan realizes he could be infected

-Abi acknowledges she was bit too.

They had just seen Nick explode into a creature that should only exist in nightmares. Where Nick had been standing, no longer Nick had exploded out of it's skin, shot their friend, and then jump out the window, running off into the night.

Ryan, Kaitlyn and Abi are just standing there in shock. There was so much blood.

Dylan looks away, feeling the need to vomit. Was that going to happen to him?

Abi finally moved, dropping the gun onto the floor. "I...I killed him. I killed him."

"I mean, I don't think dead people jump out of windows and run off into the woods." Kaitlyn said, walking over to check her over. "You don't have a concussion but I still think you should sit down. Here." She leads her over to sit next to Dylan.

"I...I still hurt him."

"Abi, you did what you had to do." Ryan tried to assure her. "You were defending yourself. He was going to hurt you."

"I...I don't know that for sure."

"I do. Nick wasn't acting like himself. And frankly, that wasn't him."

"Are you ok, Abi?" Dylan asks her.

"I'm ok. I will be..."

There was a banging on the door and a sound of a woman's voice. The pounding had made both Dylan and Abi jump. They're both clinging to each other, as if afraid to let each other go, something would happen to the other.
Dylan's heart was pounding again, but at least his breathing was back to normal.

"Who's there?" asks Ryan in a frantic voice.

"My name is Laura Kearney."

"Kearney." Dylan muttered under his breath. It sounded familiar. He stood up, pacing, trying to unlodge the name from his head. "you're Laura Kearney?"
"Yes."
"You were supposed to be working, helping out in the nurses office, right? And you never showed up, you and that guy. What's his name?"
"Max."
"Yeah. Yeah. Max. Mr Hackett said you had changed your minds last minute. I think that...we should listen to her. Inside."

"I don't trust her." Ryan said, cautiously.

"It's dangerous out there."

"She could be dangerous."

"I think we can trust her." Dylan moved past him and opened the door. Smiling brightly at the woman at the door, wearing an eye patch. She looked pretty bad-ass. "Hello!" He waved at her.

"Dylan!"

Laura told them where she and Max had been for the last two months, that Sheriff Hackett, Chris's brother, had them locked up. They discovered what had happened to Max, that Chris had been a werewolf and Max was now one too.

"Are you out of your damn mind? What's so funny?" Both Dylan and Laura are laughing.

"I literately said the exact same thing." Laura said, deadpan.

"Ok. Do you got anything better? I mean like zombies. Aliens. Time hopping draculas?"

"Would it really be that crazy?"Dylan asked, grinning like an idiot. "I'm just trying to keep an open mind. How is this any different from your ghost stories?"

"He's right. How are they any different from your ghost stories?" Abi asked. Ryan disliked this new thing of being ganged up on.

"Those...those are campfire stories."

"It would make a lot of sense. That thing on the roof. What happened to Nick...we saw him literally explode out of his skin and attack Abi..." He trails off and looks at the congealed blood on the ground. Any normal person that lost that amount would be dead.

"Hey, I'm really ok." But he didn't seem to hear her. Poor Dylan. He seemed more broken up about Nick than she was. Even if Ryan was right and he had no control over his actions, she didn't know how she'd face him again. She hadn't gotten to know him well, Dylan on the other hand, it was as if he had a crush on Nick and not just Ryan. Oh my gosh... No wonder he was taking it so hard. She wondered what Emma would say. Emma. She prayed she was still alive somewhere.

"Hey. Dylan, right? I'm sorry about what happened to your friend." Laura looks at the body-less carnage, back to Dylan. Behind his humor and smile a moment ago, she could tell he was terrified, trying to make the best out of a horrible situation. Just like Max would. Max.

If her hunch was right and he was similar to Max, she can get him to listen to her. She knows she's manipulating him. She hates it, hates the person Sheriff Hackett has made her become. God, is this what it's like to be him? Maybe once this was all over she'd apologise for the fucked up shit his family dragged him through, maybe not. He fucking ruined her life. She had a chance to salvage it, though she knew things would never quite be the same again. For the other counselors, their lives tonight would forever be changed. All because she opened that stupid door.

She couldn't let her conscience get to her now. She wasn't getting anywhere. And there wasn't much time. By helping Max, she could help his friends and possibly the other two they mentioned. Dylan, she could tell was closer to the girl next to him and the friend who turned into a werewolf that attacked her. God, she hated to do this. Hated that she couldn't even recall their names.

" But I can help him..." She searched for it. The name. What's the name? "Nick...was it?"

Dylan nods. "How?"

Man, it was getting hard to focus. He hoped he wasn't going to have another panic attack. How did you come back from what happened to Nick. He didn't want that to happen to him. He didn't want to become one of those things. "I was bit. Earlier."

Abi looks up at him frightened. Then desperately looks at Laura. "He isn't..."

"I'm... that's going to happen to me, isn't it?" He isn't asking. He's just now letting it sink in.

"Dylan, no. That's not gonna happen to you." Ryan says.

"Yes." Laura says at the same time. She sees him start to panic. She rests a hand on his arm. "Unless I kill the werewolf that bit you and him."

"Dylan, don't listen to her. She killed Kaylee." Ryan knows she's using sympathy to take advantage of Dylan's vulnerability right now. Even if it was for a good reason, (which he believed there wasn't) there's no excuse. A dull fire growing in his chest started to roar. Every instinct in him wants to protect Dylan. For all they knew she was some psycho chick waving a gun around. She could be working with the hunters.

" I didn't kill anyone. What I shot at, that was no girl. Unless the werewolf turned back?"

"You're still going with werewolves, really? There has to be a rational explanation. For all of this."

She stormed over to him, lifting up her eye patch. "Is this rational enough for you? This is what Max did to me. When he turned. He scratched me. I stood too close." She gave a sigh." Believe me or not, I don't care. But I don't have much time. If I don't kill Chris, Max and I are stuck like this until the next full moon. So is your friend here. And everyone else he might have bitten. Until he's dead, no one is safe."

"She is making a lot of sense, dude. How else do you explain what we've seen tonight?" Kaitlyn reasoned.

"Oh c'mon..." Ryan said in disbelief. He couldn't believe that she was starting to buy this too. "Guys, we can't kill Chris. We have to think rationally here."

"Wait if you were scratched, why haven't you turned?" Kaitlyn asks.

"Scratches don't get you infected. Bites do..." She lifts up her forearm, revealing a bit mark on her burned arm. "After I shot Chris, who I thought was Chris...I went back to the Island. Max hadn't turned back. I escaped but not without this."

"Wait...the island? Like our Island?" Dylan asks.

"Yeah. Why?"

"Jacob went to the Island looking for Emma. He hasn't come back yet. Neither of them have."

"Well, I didn't see them. They're probably fine. If they didn't go poking around where they shouldn't have." The very thing that had gotten her into this whole damn mess. If only she would have left it alone. But they would have all been stranded here. And blind to what was happening. They had a chance to fight this thing. All she needed to find out is where Chris Hackett was.

"Poking around where he doesn't belong is Jacob's middle name. This is bad. This is very bad." He exhales.

"How long do you have? " Kaitlyn asks Laura.

"I don't know. An hour or two. It's not an exact science. When were you bit?" She asks Dylan.

"My hand. At the radio hut." Laura raises her eyebrows at him. "Oh. About an hour ago."

"It's much smaller than before." Kaitlyn observed Dylan's hand. "Like with Nick. Holy shit, Ryan, look." But he doesn't want her to look. He instinctively pulls his hand away and draws it closer to him. It had been a very nasty and painful bite. A pain he had never felt before.

"Maybe it wasn't as bad as we thought."

"Don't gaslight me Ryan." He felt the anger in his voice. Where had that come from? He was a lover, not a fighter. It was nowhere near Nick's level of anger but still. Nick as a werewolf was a bit of an incel. He did not want to be an incel werewolf.

"Dylan I wasn't..."

"The way that thing swung me back and forth from the ceiling by my hand, like a RAG DOLL, I was pretty sure I was going to loose it. The hand." Was he showing off to Laura. Why? Could the infection, still in his blood stream, sense the infection in her? Drawing him to her? He hadn't felt that with Nick. He had been terrified.

"You were bit about a half hour ago, so... " Laura quickly did the math in her head. "So, that means you have about the same amount of time as I do."

"Hold on, the only cure is to kill the one that bit you." Abi asks,

"Yeah?" Laura didn't know where she was going with this.

"Kaylee was the only one near the radio hut." Dylan adds. "She must've been the one that bit me right?"

"Right. I didn't see any others. That means you should be fine."

Relief washed over him. He had nothing to worry about. At the same time something was eating away at him, that something wasn't right. Then he felt a tad bit of guilt. "Oh man, Kaylee." I'm so sorry Ryan.

"I was bit when Nick was attacked, there was another one, a...a different one. I should have turned around the same time as him then." Abi suddenly realized, "I must've been bitten by Kaylee too."

"You two have nothing to worry about then. Now can someone please tell me where Chris Hackett's lives? When he's not at camp, I mean."He's not in the storm shelter and I'm getting nowhere searching for him in the woods. I need a place to start."

"Maybe that spooky house behind those woods." Kaitlyn points out the window.

"Dude!" Ryan exclaimed.

Kaitlyn shrugged. "If it means a cure for Nick and another step closer out of here.."

"I should go with her." Ryan cuts her off

"What?" Both Dylan and Kaitlyn say at the same time.

"Uh, what they said." Laura looks at them, back to Ryan.

"I'm going to show you that Chris has nothing to do with this. He wanted us to stay inside tonight. He wanted us safe."

"I don't care what you think."

Ryan sighed. He had no time to argue. "everything's going to be fine." He said to Dylan. "you're gonna have to try and fix the minivan. Get somewhere safe."

"Wait...is that?" Laura went over to Abi. "Can I see your bracelet?"

Abi held it out to her.

"What are you doing?" Ryan pointed the gun at Laura.

"Trying to help." She took the bracelet, putting it in the shotgun shell, handing it to Abi. "Silver. Worse case scenario, this should give you a fighting chance."

"And this will hurt them? Kill them?"

"Yep."

"What if it's Nick or someone."

"Like I said, worse case scenario."

"Ryan, stop waving that gun around before you hurt someone." Kaitlyn directed. Laura took it from him as he lowered it.

"C'mon. We don't have much time."
