"I most definitely do not want to have dinner with the Weasleys. Are you out of your mind?"

"Draco come on. They could be very valuable to our cause and I miss my friends! Pansy will also be there so if you're too miserable you can stick with her."

"Ugh fine. But don't expect me to be all buddy buddy with everyone."

Hermione rolled her eyes "Never."

Harry had cooked them dinner and then went home to Grimmauld Place. Even though he was only one person, once he left, the house felt overwhelming. There was still so much to be done. Destruction was everywhere. Neither Draco or Hermione had tried to go into the drawing room, saving that for another day.

Draco was leading her to his (or rather their?) bedroom when he stopped abruptly. "You know what?"

Hermione looked up at him. "What?"

"I never officially asked you to move in with me. Though it seems awkward, because we've been living together pretty much since before we've been together. But it also seems a little fast to make it official after we've only been dating a week."

Hermione nodded. "I understand. Its even crossed my mind as well that I don't really have anywhere to go. My muggle home is being sold, and Hogwarts isn't an option. I don't mind the manor like I thought I would. I ever only saw the drawing room. I wouldn't mind continuing to live with you either. Though if you don't feel ready to officially live together I could always stay at Harry's-"

Draco kissed her abruptly. "Absolutely not! Like I said, we've been pretty much living together already. And I'll be damned if any girlfriend of mine were to shack up with Potter."

Hermione laughed out loud and smacked his shoulder "You are so easy to get riled up you know that?" She then grabbed his collar and pulled him down to give him a kiss of her own. "I also seem to remember promising you mind blowing make up sex." She said in between kisses. "And I always keep my word."

Draco lifted her up and tossed her over his shoulder, causing her to squeal. Somehow he managed to take the steps two at a time while carrying her. "Time to prove it then Granger!"

The next morning involved more clean up. They finished two guest rooms and started the library, only really stopping for lunch. When they entered the library, they were both shocked at the state it was in. Shelves were overturned. Books and papers were askew. The tables and chairs were toppled and there was broken artifacts and decor everywhere.

"I can't believe they left it this way!"

"I can. I'm ashamed to say there were some dark tomes in here. Though just by looking I can't tell if that's all they took. Once we're done with the actual clean up I'd like to do an inventory of what books are left, what we can repair or replace, and what's just lost."

"I can do that."

"You don't have to-"

"Oh please I would enjoy it!"

Draco gave her a soft smile. "Of course love. If there's anything you want to add to it also just let me know and it's yours."

"Really?"

"Yes, this is your home now."

Hermiones smile beamed. Home.

When they arrived at the weasleys, Hermione could notice Draco was nervous.

"Will you stop your fidgeting? It'll be fine!"

"What if they hex me as soon as I walk in? Like Weasley did that first day!"

"Honestly, it'll be fine, they invited you remember? And you're going to have to find something else to call Ron because there will be-" she took a moment to count, "there will be 8 Weasleys in attendance tonight."

"Great Salazar that's too many Weasleys! Why did I agree to this?"

"Because you love me and this is the only family I've got left, so come on!"

"The things I do for you love."

They walked in hand in hand, drawing the stares of the entire room. The whole place was oddly silent until a high pitched squeal pierced the air. "Mioneeeeee!" Ginny ran up and tackled her. "Oh Merlin I've missed you! I thought you were dead! I was beside myself! Then Ron told me everything, you know he can't keep a secret. Do you know him and Pansy-"

"Ginerva! Let them come in and sit down! Your mother says dinners about done." Arthur gave them an apologetic smile. "Come in you two come in! Make yourselves at home!"

They made their way to the table and took a seat. Draco next to Harry and Hermione next to Pansy. The long table was filled to the brim with food. There was Roast, Baked Fish, Potatoes of many different varieties, too many vegetables to name and of course, loads of bread. How could one woman cook so much food? Draco didn't think he'd ate as much in his life! The conversation remained lighthearted. He was officially introduced to Charlie and Bill, and they were discussing potions used to heal dragon related injuries when the food on the table vanished and in its place appeared dessert. There were 3 different kinds of pies and two plates full of delicious looking pastries. Draco supposed he could find room for it.

Once everyone had had their fill they all milled out toward the backyard. Ginny was beginning to try and organize a quidditch match when Draco and Hermione were pulled aside by Ron and Pansy. They were hand in hand but Ron looked nervous. Whatever did he have to be nervous about?

Pansy was the first to speak. She looked directly at Draco. "So I wanted to let you know I've decided to keep the baby."

Draco hung his head. He didn't say anything, but he knew it was only going to get harder for her from here. "Ok. So do you have a plan?"

Hermione squeezed his hand. "How can we help?"

"Well, Draco, I was wondering if we could rent your guesthouse until after the baby's born."

"We?" Hermione raised an eyebrow at Ron.

"Ahem yes. Pansy and I. Um, I'm going to claim the baby as my own.

Hermione and Draco looked at him in shock, eyes wide and mouth agape. "That's…that's a big step Ron. What does your family think?"

"Mum and dad and Ginny are all for it, the others have mixed reviews but honestly it doesn't matter. This is what I want. I want to be with Pansy and raise this baby with her." He put an arm around Pansy and pulled her close. "We'll be a family. Who knows? Maybe we'll have children of our own someday. And I hope we have your support, because we're going to need all the help we can get."

Draco stuck out a hand in Ron's direction. "You've got it. And you can stay at the guesthouse for as long as you need to. No rent required."

Hermione was shocked. She was a bit concerned if Ron really knew what he was getting into. They'd only met again two days ago. They were only 18! Draco also shocked her. She didn't expect him to accept this so easily. And he even offered Ron a place to stay on his property! She would have to look for flying pigs later.

Ron shook his hand with a wide grin. "Thanks mate. I've got a job at the twins shop, they're planning on opening a second location in Hogsmeade next summer and are going to have me manage that location. it has a flat above it we'll be able to live in, so it's only temporary."

"And I'm going to school to style hair, makeup and nails. Im going to take a few NEWTS that i would need and I think I'd really enjoy it. I won't start until after the baby is born, but it shouldn't take long. There's a salon in Hogsmeade I was thinking of applying to afterwards or I could just work out of our flat."

Hermione smiled. Seems like they've thought of everything. She pulled them both in for a hug. "I'm so happy for you two. Is there anything else we could possibly do for you?"

Ron looked at Pansy with a grin. "Actually there is one more thing."

Pansy returned his grin. "We were hoping you two would be the baby's godparents."

Hermione gasped and began to tear up, while Draco just smiled. "Of course!" They both shouted. Draco sobered a bit. "I don't know what kind of condition the guesthouse is in at the moment. The place was left in shambles by the order and we've been cleaning it up the last few days."

"I can help out, until it's finished I'm sure we could stay here. Mums a bit sad about having an empty nest soon anyway."

Hermione perked up at this. "Empty nest? But what about Ginny?"

Pansy smacked Ron in the back of the head. "Can't keep a secret this one! Well I'm sure she was going to tell you anyway. She's moving into Grimmauld place with Harry."

Hermione gasped, "But she's only 17! She still has a year of hogwarts left! I'm sure Molly wasn't ok with this!"

Ron rolled his eyes. "Mione it's Harry. He's always been mums favorite. Anything that will get him one step closer to actually being her son is fine by her! And you know how stubborn Ginny can be, technically she is of age. Besides, Ginny promised she would finish Hogwarts and take her newts. So she won't be living there most of the year anyway."

Pansy chuckled. "Have you two given any thought about what you're going to do?"

Hermione looked nervously at Draco. "I…um…honestly I haven't thought that far. Everything has changed so much. I guess it would be nice to finish school and take my newts. At the moment I'm on the orders most wanted list, so I can't just waltz through Kings Cross and get on the train. We have to stop the order from taking power before we can even think about the future."

Ron reached out and took her hand. "It'll be ok Mione, the whole family will help anyway we can."

She gave him a sad smile. "Thank you."

"Hey Ron! Malfoy! We need keepers! You in?" Ginny shouted. Ron and Draco ran to join them. Hermione hadn't seen Draco this happy in a long time. He looked totally carefree. She on the other hand sat on the sidelines with Pansy anxiously hoping nobody would injure themselves.

Draco, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Pansy and Ginny all spent the next three days preparing the guest house. It was in a similar state to the main house, so it took them a while to complete, but in the end, it was a clean, quaint house, good for a couple starting out.

Ron and Pansy moved in the next day. They set up the main room as theirs and the second bedroom they planned to use as a nursery. Besides the main bath there was a powder room, a kitchen, and a living area attached. There was a pathway leading up to the main house, but it had its own fireplace. They spent a good amount of time connecting both the main house and the guest house to a private floo network, that only included Grimmauld place, the Burroe, McGonagall's office at Hogwarts, and Theo and Blaise's houses. It couldn't be monitored by the ministry, so it was the safest and fastest form of communication.

Once Ron and Pansy were set, Draco and Hermione got back to work on the main house. They finally finished the library and the main office. When the day finally came and it was time to do the drawing room, both had a hard time even opening the door.

"I don't know if I can do this Hermione. Too many horrid things happened in here. Maybe we should just leave it."

"I know it's hard Draco but it has to be done. I'm not exactly thrilled about this either but I don't think we'll be able to move forward unless we take this head on." With that she moved forward and opened the door.

This room was in worse condition than the rest. The dining table and chairs were overturned, some splintered and broken. Priceless artifacts and centuries old paintings were shattered and burnt. The chandelier lay shattered on the floor, pieces of glass and crystal littered the floor. Windows had been blown out. On the walls, ceiling, and floor there were multiple holes and scorch marks from wayward spells that had gone flying that day. The floor and walls were also splattered with rust colored spots. Draco looked like he might be sick.

He backed out of the room and sank to the floor. "I can't do this Hermione. I can't…"

"It's ok. I'll start cleaning the blood up then we'll try to get the rest ok?"

"How are you so calm? Just looking into that room where so many people were….where you were…"

She cupped his face in her hands. "Shhh. It's ok. I'm here now. We won. They cannot hurt us anymore."

He slowly nodded. "How…how are you, really?"

Hermione sighed and looked back into the room. "Honestly, I'm mostly numb. I don't feel anything when I look in there. I don't know if that's a healthy way to go about it but it's just how I feel at the moment."

Draco turned her face toward his and their foreheads met. "I love you."

She kissed him softly, "I love you too. We'll get through this, together."

"Together."

Hermione slowly got up and headed into the drawing room, reciting spell after spell to try and clear the blood away. Draco soon followed suit, stopping at the threshold to take a deep breath and compose himself. He then moved and started on repairing the windows. It was going to be a long day.
