White Fang Secret Train (Morning)
Russo burst through the metal door to find something that would chill him to his core. Welter, covered in cuts and bruises, was on the floor, about to be attacked by a White Fang member. With a yell, the blonde jumped forward and struck the metal floor beneath the Faunus, triggering an explosion that temporarily stunned the masked man. He then carried Welter back to Ivy, Weiss, and Blake. When he came to, the heiress pulled her brother into a hug.
His eye burning red, Russo turned back to the White Fang member, who had just regained autonomy. "You're going to pay dearly for this." he said, firing a stream of flame at the Faunus. The attack struck the man, exploding against his Aura.
"I'd leave if I were you, kid. It's just the Schnees I want." the Faunus said, activating his Semblance.
"Sorry, but Welter's a part of my Team. If you want to hurt him, you'll have to go through me." Russo said, his eyes focused on his current target.
"Suit yourself, kid." the man said with a smirk as he rushed at the blonde, his fists colliding with the boy's sword. Russo, surprised that someone other than his brother could withstand his weapon's heat, put more force into his swing and managed to push the White Fang member back a few steps.
"Blake, Ivy, get past me! At least one of us has to reach the front of the train." the blonde told the girls, prompting them to run past him and the fox Faunus, leaving for the next room.
Back with Weiss and Welter, the boy was healing the bulk of his own wounds with magic. Though, there was still a bit of internal damage. "Thanks for coming to get me." he told his sister.
"We wouldn't leave you behind." Weiss said, putting a hand on her brother's shoulder as she smiled.
White Fang Secret Train (Morning)
Ivy and Blake ran through the metal door to come face-to-face with Torchwick. "Hello, Kitty Cat, Minty. You two miss me?" the man asked rhetorically, angering both of them. "You know, we really gotta stop meeting like this. People are gonna talk." That was the final straw for Blake, who rushed at the thief. Torchwick swung at her with Melodic Cudgel but was knocked back by an explosion created by the faunus' semblance combined with Fire Dust. While he staggered from the blast, Ivy let loose a series of energy slashes with Earth Dust. The strike launched Torchwick into the air, where Blake unleashed a flurry of attacks with Gambol Shroud.
In retaliation, Torchwick shot at Blake with a Fire Dust round. The Faunus activated her semblance and hid behind a stone copy of herself that took the attack for her. She then rushed at her opponent again, delivering yet another flurry of blows while using her semblance to avoid his attacks. Torchwick swung at the girl with his cane, only for her to make an ice copy that trapped the weapon inside itself, preventing the thief from moving. Seeing the chance to take out the man right here and now, Ivy loaded her weapons with Fire Dust, then slashed both of them at once in an X shape. This launched a gigantic ball of fire that rocketed at Torchwick, detonating on contact with him.
While he was downed, Torchwick found himself on the business end of both of the girls' weapons. "Why are we fighting?" he asked Blake. "I saw you at the rally. We're on the same side and you know it."
White Fang Secret Train (Morning)
Russo and Weiss both lunged at the White Fang member with their swords, landing a direct hit on his arms. However, the blades failed to even put a dent in his Aura. With little effort, the scarred Faunus pushed the duo off of him, sending them back to the rear of the cabin.
"Okay, this guy's starting to piss me off." Russo said, his eye brightly glowing as he got back on his feet. "Weiss, follow my lead." the blonde said before throwing his weapon at the Faunus, catching the man off-guard. Understanding what the blonde was trying to do, Weiss shot a blast of Ice Dust at the White Fang member, freezing his right arm solid. The ice weighed him down, forcing him to his knees. This let Russo fire off a stream of flame without his attack being guarded against.
While the masked man was in a daze from Russo's flames, Weiss used her semblance to make a Time Dilation Glyph below herself. Three Glyphs spawned behind the Faunus before she sped forward and slashed repeatedly with her sword, bouncing off the Glyphs for extra momentum after each strike.
Unfortunately, the Faunus managed to grab onto the heiress' face before slamming her into the floor, breaking the metal apart. He then reared his arm back for a punch. But before he could, Russo appeared in Weiss' place and used his sword to take the punch for him. Angered, the man took the weapon by the blade, tossing it aside before punching the blonde in the stomach, sending him flying into the metal wall. The impact was so powerful, that the boy broke through the train and was thrown outside.
"Russo!" Welter yelled, worried for his partner. The Faunus took notice of him and walked toward the Schnee with his arms glowing bright orange. The boy held tightly onto his sister as the man approached.
"Looks like you're alone, kid." he said, raising his arm before bringing it down on the siblings. He was surprised when a green barrier appeared to stop his attack.
"No. No, I'm not." the boy said, his eyes glowing an eerie green as he looked down at his unconscious sister. "As long as I still have something to fight for, I'll never be alone." Welter raised his arm, causing black tendrils of slime to appear from the shadows. They grabbed onto the remains of his cane, merging it back together. The weapon then flew back to the Schnee's hand, black lightning surging from the emerald at the end.
White Fang Secret Train (Morning)
Furious, Sapphire swung his weapon at Neo. The mute girl just casually weaved out of the way, completely dodging the attack. As she got up from the crate, she struck the boy and Yang with a series of kicks and slashes from her umbrella. Pushed back by one of Neo's kicks, Yang retaliated with a dust shot from her weapon. Neo raised her umbrella, allowing the flames to slide off it. Sapphire stabbed one of his scythe-blades into the floor, causing spikes of ice to form beneath her. Neo jumped up, moving out of the spikes' way.
After the spikes vanished into water vapor, Yang rushed forward to battle Neo at close-range. This endeavor was pointless though, as the heterochromatic girl was able to move along with her punches, reducing the amount of damage she took to zero. Finally going on the offensive, Neo confused the blonde with her quick movement before throwing her into the ceiling, knocking Yang out.
Sapphire's rage got stronger when his sister was defeated, and unleashed a torrent of freezing water from his palms to make Neo pay for harming her. The girl stayed still, allowing the water to hit her, shattering her form like glass. Remembering the last time she did this, Sapphire turned around and prepared to fire off another water blast. He was a second too late, which resulted in Neo jabbing him in the chest, breaking his Aura instantly and knocking him out.
Smirking, the girl unsheathed her sword and got ready to finish the job. She stopped though, caught off-guard by Raven portaling in with her mask on. The woman dashed forward and slashed at Neo, forcing the girl to jump back. The two locked eyes as the Branwen prepared to unleash a powerful downward strike. Knowing she was outmatched, Neo vanished in a flash of white light.
Once the fight was over, Raven gave a passing glance to Gregory and Yang. She was about to portal away, but was interrupted by the sound of something tearing through the metal walls.
Then, she saw red.
