Review(s)
AlphaShenron: Thank you for your review! An interesting thought about Cell... I'm conflicted about Cell because to me, he was just very cowardly. But, with that said, I can see how a possible Multi-Cell arc could work. I'm picturing it in my mind. Don't know if I'll do it because I was considering going way off-kilter with an enemy I've only seen in one story, and I for some reason just like the idea of Shepard possibly fighting a fellow hammer wielder ;-). Enjoy this chapter my friend.
Age: June 15, 764
Location: Mount Paozu
It had been 3 months since that day. After realizing he had killed a former human being, Gohan's power went out of control in rage and grief. He didn't realize that Chi-Chi was only a few hundred feet from him, nor that the others were not much further away than that. His power had sent Chi-Chi hurtling a distance away, thankfully with only superficial burns. The others were thankful they had sensed Gohan's power building up and were able to get away relatively unharmed.
Bulma had collected what was left of the former android known as Mister X, which was now even less since Gohan's explosion of uncontrollable power. The head, some of the torso, and about half of what was left of one of his arms. Bulma hugged the boy, telling him that it was a very human thing to feel the way he felt and to call her if he needed or wanted any help with anything. She had also managed to find Chiaotzu, alive but still encased in the experimental Katchin Nano Shell, a prototype work of genius constructed with Orange's help. Chiaotzu had managed to activate the device in time and it had saved his life. He was shaken up but had taken no damage. Bulma made sure to pay him a healthy bonus for testing out such a sensitive piece of equipment in an extreme battle scenario.
As for Gohan, after realizing what he had done, he flew away to find his mother, panicking even more when he saw her injured once again, this time because of him. Piccolo had followed him, a senzu bean in hand. They had helped Chi-Chi get back to her feet after.
But Gohan had turned inward, locking himself in his room for the most part after. Only coming out for breakfast, requesting further books from which to take assignments, lunch, and dinner. The boy had been traumatized by his experience. It was one thing when it had been an android hell-bent on destroying him and his family and friends, but once he discovered it had been human, he lost all desire for training. Nothing Piccolo could do could coax the boy out of his self-made punishment. Chi-Chi had not questioned her son but was worried about him, especially a week after when Bulma had called to confirm that indeed, the blood tests she had gotten back from the android confirmed he was indeed a human once, known as Eric Clark. Bulma had remembered the up-and-comer when he was in his teens. A good boxer with a lot of good speed and power and had decided to make a move up to heavyweight. He had disappeared back in May the previous year, and digging further, Bulma was able to pull up camera footage that showed Eric Clark walking into a warehouse. Upon zooming in and taking a printout of the other people there, who she had gone and questioned, she could only have assumed that something happened in that warehouse. On top of that, she told Chi-Chi she had footage of the person who brought them inside the warehouse, but nothing had come back on the scanners. It was a big mystery, one which Bulma had taken to trying to figure out. Gohan had been wrecked upon hearing about the android, retreating even further away.
It was another morning at Mount Paozu, as Gohan had woken, taken a shower, and eaten his breakfast with zeal before heading back to his room to study. Piccolo was outside but had not stepped inside since that day, looking to give the boy some space. He had taken to training inside their Gravity Room, angered still at his lack of power against the android. There were times he felt he could fight it on an even playing field, but he still lacked the power to overcome it. It made him worried because he knew Sarada was gunning for Super Saiyan. And once she achieved it, he was likely going to be her first victim. He wanted to be as ready as possible for when that day came.
Chi-Chi didn't say a word at breakfast, not knowing what she could say to help her son get over this hurdle. She felt partly to blame because she had gotten hurt in the madness. The woman was certainly happy about the boy's progress with his studies, but she could feel that he had become a lot more withdrawn. More than ever right now would be a good time for Goku to get back home to help...
Bam
"Chi-Chi? Get Gohan, now."
Before the woman could question the sudden intrusion from Piccolo, the phone rang.
Riiiiiiiing
Riiiiiiing
"Hello?"
"Chi-Chi? Oh, thank Kami you're up already. Is Piccolo with you?"
"Did you detect it?" Piccolo asked from a few feet away.
"Detect what?" Chi-Chi was stuck looking at Piccolo confused.
"I did! After the whole Saiyan ordeal, Capsule Corp made the move to place our Scanning Satellites in a couple of key locations in our Solar System! And one of them tripped just now."
"Mom? Mister Piccolo?" Gohan had made it halfway down the steps before he stopped. He heard the door, thinking an intruder was there until he felt his teacher's energy.
"Gohan! Grab your sword. Looks like it's time to put ourselves in front of the planet again." Piccolo sounded confident, at least until he saw Gohan's face drop.
"Mis-Mister Piccolo I don't-"
"ENOUGH! GOHAN!" Chi-Chi snapped, causing the boy and namekian to look at the mother.
"Come here." She waved her finger to the boy, who did as he was told, floating over the rail and in front of her. She placed both hands on her son's shoulders, her motherly smile as sweet as ever as she bent down to a knee.
"Now Gohan…I know that what happened with that…android was tough for you. But I also know that you are your father's son. You're so strong… And I know that you have reservations about fighting-"
"I don't want to hurt anyone again-"
"And it's fine to inspire to be that way. But Gohan, you must remember the way of the Turtle. Have you forgotten already?" Chi-Chi coaxed her son, who was looking down at the ground. She lifted her son's chin with her hand, hiding a gasp when she saw the boy's eyes change.
"It is our duty to defend against those who wish to hurt innocent people. To achieve peace, one must be willing to fight the war."
"That's right son. Our goal is never to hurt, but if they wish to mess with us, then hurt is what they'll get!"
"Let me get my sword," Gohan said, the now determined boy ready to fight once again. Piccolo smirked at the mother, who was watching her son run upstairs, saddened that her little boy was fighting these big fights.
"Says the warrior who hates fighting."
"Just because I hate it, doesn't mean I don't see the benefits or use of it. I wanted to ignore it for a long time Piccolo, but I can't. My son is a Super Saiyan. Perhaps the youngest in history. He and Goku may be freaks of nature, but they're mine. And I wouldn't trade anything for them."
"So Gohan is fighting? Great! Because I have a feeling we need a Super Saiyan or whatever he is up our sleeves right now." Chi-Chi had forgotten that Bulma was on the phone.
"Uhh right…how bad is it this time Piccolo?" Chi-Chi asked.
"As you know, I have been doing more…mental training as of late. My recent failings at sensing the Super Saiyans out in space have led me to believe that my mental training wasn't focused enough, or refined. A couple of evenings ago I sensed something…warped out there in space. I decided to ignore it because it seemed quite far away, until last night. I checked it out again and not only was it closer, but I can feel it now. It's on its way here. And it's strong Chi-Chi. Even with Gohan, we might be in serious trouble."…
Location: Wastelands/Desert Border
It was silent until lights began to spark in the sky.
*POP*
A circular ship of some sort descended to the ground, its legs catching the soft ground and not tilting. The top began to open as 2 figures were seen chatting.
"It doesn't matter Trunks, he said not to interfere until it was already here."
"I know that, but should Gohan be injured because of that?" Trunks asked the other figure as they both stood and floated out. They each lowered their ki as they were instructed to not attract attention.
"No, he shouldn't. Still means we should follow the rules."
"Even so, it's coming, today. If Goku, Shepard, Dad, and Raditz can make it back in time, then maybe we can wait until it's all over. But if not, we need to act." The other teenager, roughly the same age as Trunks, stood 6'3", wearing a red armband around his left shoulder and another around his right wrist, he also wore a blue armored shirt with dark orange pants wrapped with a brown sash. His hair was tied back in a ponytail, but it didn't matter how long it was, still going just above his waist. He also had a tail wrapped around his waist, and if one looked closely, one could see past the black of his hair to the orange/red tint. His determined, black eyes stared down at Trunks, who looked back at him with a questioning look.
"I'm right, Trunks. If Axel were still-"
"Shut up! Don't you dare talk about my cousin like that." Trunks grabbed the other boy by the shirt.
"What happened to him can happen to any of us if this goes wrong! We're here now, we make the decisions we need to make. Besides, Mom already said that it's not going to change our timeline either way." Trunks released the taller boy. His long hair blew in the wind. Having decided to forego his normal haircut for this trip, Trunks was crestfallen when he used his energy, trying to sense out where everyone was.
"Looks like we have time. Let me put the Time Machine away and we'll hide out in the Capsule House my Mom gave us." Trunks suggested…
Planet Yardrat

"I said that was my last bit of meat, why would you take that?" Raditz said as Vegeta snatched the massive piece of meat.
"I am the Prince of All Saiyans! That's why! Besides you and that clown elected to hide it from me!"
"It wasn't yours to begin with jackass!" Raditz said angrily, Vegeta cooking the meat with his energy making him seethe more.
"Hmph. Where is Kakarot and that Clown anyway?" Vegeta asked as he took a bite, smirking as Raditz snarled.
"Grrr…They're out with Soba. Shepard feels we are about ready to head back to Earth. Kakarot wants to see his family again."
"And you will do what?" Vegeta asked, swallowing down another piece. Raditz wasn't sure. In the last year and a half, he had grown in power. Not as much as he would like, but…
He still had a desire to go out into space to test worthy opponents against his Super Saiyan power.
"Doesn't matter. Think I will see if I can get one of the Saiyan Pods retrofitted and travel the stars. Of course after seeing my nephew. Plus I need to get back out there and…acquire more advanced technology for the old man who built this ship. He said I may have one of my own if I do."
"Hmmm. Interesting. And this old man is whom?"
"One of the few geniuses on that planet. His daughter, that blue-headed witch, tried to kill me when I first went back to Earth after our fight with you."
This was news to the Prince, who raised an eyebrow at that. 'Interesting indeed.'
Zzt
"Hey, Vegeta! Raditz! Are you done yet? Shepard has something to tell us. Oh is that bison?" Goku said, quickly snatching one of the last pieces of cooked meat from Raditz's dish.
"Wha-KAKAROT!"
"Sorry heh heh heh heh hurry up!" Zzt
Goku waved as he munched down on the meat, disappearing with his fingers to his head.
"That blasted fool is going to get punched really really hard one day for doing that!" Raditz said as he huffed, picking up the last piece.
"He's done it to you at least half a dozen times already! The old you would have destroyed him for it by now." Vegeta said as he got up.
"The old me had a power level of two thousand at best, Vegeta. Just admit that you wish I was still that weak so you could rule over me again."
"Hmph. Even still, beating your ass last week sure felt good."
"Enjoy your temporary victory, Prince, for next time I'll-
Zzt
"Be kicking your ass and enjoying it," Raditz said as Vegeta grabbed his shoulder, feeling for Goku's ki. There in an instant, they noticed Shepard, still sitting on the ground, his white-gold hair standing on end as his eyes were closed.
"Something is here dude, I can just…feel it."
"You're not wrong. I've been trying to pinpoint it but I can't tie it down to one place. But that's not the worst part. Something is approaching us."
"What kinda something?"
"The kind of something that a Super Saiyan will be needed for." That was all the warning Marc gave as his eyes shot open, looking up in the sky.
"What in the fuck do you guys sense up there?" Shepard asked. Soba, who was nearby, could also begin to feel something…not right.
"It feels…"
"Twisted perhaps?"
Vegeta was digging deeper before his eyes widened.
"No..."
"No what asshole speak up!" Shepard nearly yelled.
"Cold."
"WHAT?" Raditz and Shepard both shouted, causing the latter to really feel out what he was sensing.
"I caught it for a fleeting second, but Cold already feels like he...went past us?"
Shepard still didn't like what he was sensing. He couldn't sense King Cold's energy anymore, but as he was sensing something, he started to see it too. At first glance, Shepard would've thought it was something out of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine before a terrifying thought hit him. He had seen this before, in a movie, more specifically...
"The Big Gete Star?" He said to himself, trembling at the thought of fighting that thing.
"Did you just say Gete?" Vegeta said in nearly the same urgent tone. The brothers and Soba both looked at the pair in confusion.
"Like Spah-getti Getti or some other kind of Gete?" Goku asked innocently, causing the others around him to faint.
"H-How the hell are you two...related?" Vegeta said as he could barely contain his sanity.
"Still...figuring...that out," Raditz said in agreement.
"Stop thinking about food dum dum! We already ate!" Shepard said as he looked back up in the sky.
"Is it really the fucking BIG GETE STAR?" Shepard asked Marc, terror rising.
"I believe so, but it's...It's odd. It's going..."
"Past us?...No...Wait..."
"How do you know about the Big Gete Star?" Shepard turned his head, asking Vegeta. The Prince crossed his arms, also looking in the sky.
"My father told many stories. The Super Saiyan. The Super Saiyan God. But there were others. All he had ever heard was that there was a...a planet eater of sorts that traveled the stars looking for more planets to feed on."
"Hmm. Well, your father was partly right. The Big Gete Star was an artificial intelligence floating in space for millions of years. Until it started absorbing pieces of technology. And like anything, once it gets something it likes and it really really wants more of it." Shepard pointed to the sky as the massive planet-like mass continued to float by.
"You get that."
"Thankfully it is far enough away not to cause any seismic shifts to our planet," Soba said.
"So why do we care if it is not a threat to us?" Vegeta said gruffly.
"It doesn't just pass by this close to where we are and...what the..." Shepard saw it first. It was small, a bit bigger than a Saiyan Pod, but more...flat in design. It broke through the atmosphere at Mach speed, flying down towards the warriors. Shepard could see through the fog as the ship landed down without much fanfare. It took a few seconds for the ship's door to open, but as it did, Shepard could make out familiar palm tree spiky hair. Vegeta himself didn't recognize the Saiyan at first as the man walked forward slowly. Raditz however, started to smile.
"I can't believe it! You survived?" Raditz said as he walked forward ready to greet the Saiyan, but Shepard slammed the BanHammer down in front of him.
"What the hell Shepard?"
"Shepard? The PTO's most wanted "Shepard?"
The fog started to clear as the voice started to match up with Shepard's memories of the man's face.
He wore full Saiyan Armor, but his chest plate, shoulder, and wrist gauntlets were dark purple. He looked very similar to Goku. He was a shade darker than Goku, but aside from that, the smirk on his face was sinister, and he felt nothing like Goku.
"Whoa! He looks like me!" Goku said in astonishment. But Shepard wasn't convinced.
"Are you feeling that to man?"
Marc didn't need to ask, Shepard could feel the wrongness of it.
"And here I thought you would be more...menacing heh heh heh heh heh." The Saiyan warrior said. Raditz stepped past Shepard, finally coming face to face with the Saiyan.
"What is with you, Uncle Turles?"
"Uncle?" Shepard about fell over from that news.
"His fucking UNCLE?"
"I...I never..."
"Of course! Some low-class Saiyans do share characteristics! Now it makes sense. There had been mention of Bardock having a twin brother that used to pillage planets with him." Vegeta said, though there wasn't much emotion on his face when he said it. Raditz went to turn back in confusion before it clicked. His subtle turn of the head wasn't noticed by 'Turles' as he shrugged with indifference.
"So what if I did? No matter, I decided to strike out on my own! Found a lowly crew, found something quite...worthwhile!" Raditz took a step back from 'Turles', instantly on edge. A purple beam flew by Raditz's head, singing a hole in 'Turles' forehead as the Saiyan fell backward, dead.
"VEGETA!" Goku yelled as Raditz was about to do the same.
"WAIT!" Shepard yelled out as something started to happen with the body. At first, it was not noticeable until he finally saw it.
Silver tendrils worked their way around Turles' forehead where the hole was, closing it up in seconds. The sound of it was grotesque as Turles' body seemed to move on its own, rising back to a standing position. His eyes opened, a deadly smirk playing across his lips as his eyes flashed red.
"Why'd you ruin my cover, peasant Prince?"
"Uncle Turles?"
"Enough of the "Uncle" crap boy! I'm not your pathetic Uncle. He's dead, or…he wishes he were heh heh heh." Turles' body began to change, silver tendrils of energy overcoming what was once smooth skin becoming metallic. The armor also turned into a smooth grey as 'Turles' became metallic as a whole. The process took only 5 seconds, but it was the longest, saddest 5 seconds of Raditz's life as he watched his uncle, as equally brilliant as his twin Bardock, become something he didn't even recognize anymore. He had vague memories of his father and Uncle when he was small before he had gone on any missions with the Prince. He could remember their jeers toward one another, their competitive desire to outdo one another. It was why they chose to be on separate teams.
It was how Raditz knew instantly this was not the Turles he remembered. Turles would never partner with his brother.
"So Cold's ass is still alive after all?" Shepard said in disgust. Now he knew why he sensed Cold. It was fleeting, but he and Vegeta had both sensed him.
"Oh but of course he is! He has plans for you all, you know. Especially…you." Meta Turles pointed at Shepard.
"So Cold survived Namek somehow? But… That's not possible! His body was nearly beaten to paste with this." Shepard said, holding up his BanHammer.
"Heh heh heh heh heh and you think that silly little toy would be enough to stop him from coming back?" Meta Turles laughed hard at Shepard's shocked face. Now that Shepard could hear it, he heard the metallic undertone in the metallic Saiyan's voice.
"So Cold survived, was somehow absorbed into the Big Gete Star, and what? Took it over? Then how do you come into play?" Raditz asked as he pointed at his 'uncle'…
Months Ago
Their Tree of Might had borne amazing fruit! Turles took a bite of the alien meat that he had killed for earlier, his scouter beeping.
"Hmm? What's this?" Turles took another bite before tossing the rest of it away. Standing just outside the Crusher Corps cruiser, the Tree Of Might was a massive backdrop.
"Power level…-" BOOM
The scouter exploded on Turles ear as he looked up, eyes widened in shock. He and his acquired team had planted over a dozen successful Tree Of Mights, but nothing could prepare him for the sight above.
"TURLES!"
He ignored Amond's screams as he watched…he didn't know what he was watching, but if the rumors were true, then this was the Big Gete Star. He had heard about this monstrosity but was very much surprised to see its…aggressiveness. He watched as the techno planet hovered over the Tree of Might before it sprouted its massive, planet-sized arms. He watched in horrified shock as the Big Gete Star started to enclose around the planet. The Tree of Might started sparking in protest, sending shocks of energy all over the planet. Turles could feel the quaking beneath his lifelong soldier boots.
"I must gather the last of the Fruit! Amond where are Lakasei and Rasin?"
Turles question went unanswered as a massive CRACK followed by a sudden shift of the planet, causing it to violently shake in protest. Turles watched in abstract horror as his beloved Tree of Might started to collapse. The Big Gete Star pressed in further, sending rocks and the many metals and broken buildings from the civilization that Turles had plundered into a massive hole that had developed along a fault line of the planet.
Turles made a break for it, ignoring Amond's screams as he made a beeline for the collapsing Tree of Might. The low-class Saiyan never expected his beloved Tree to be destroyed, but he only had so much time. Turles ignored the many BOOMS that started hitting the planet, only catching a glimpse of one as it slammed into the ground only feet away, sending rock everywhere as it and many other of the monstrosities that landed gave chase. They were huge, easily more than twice Turles' size. They looked metallic, their single, red-eye each honing in on him.
Turles made it to the tree as one of the…Cyclopian Guards landed next to him. It went to stab him, but Turles jumped above the attempted slash, driving his foot into the thing's face. He didn't have time to survey the damage he had done, which was little.
"I-I must…HAAAA!" Turles jumped up, approaching one of the falling limbs, grabbing a half dozen of the Fruits. Quickly stashing all but one away, he dodged another Cyclopian Guard, dropping to the ground and running as the Big Gete Star made its first latching, sending Turles tumbling out of control. Cyclopian Guards soon landed around him. Getting up slowly, he watched as they seemed to take their time walking toward him, each with their stabbing weapons out.
"Wh-What have I done to incur your wrath, fiends?" He got no reply as they continued walking forward. He looked back as the ones behind him were only feet away.
"Haven't you heard? Never corner a Saiyan warrior!" Turles made a quick decision. He knew Amond was back behind him somewhere. Lakasei, Rasin, Cacao, Daiz. Wherever they were, these Fruits would do them no good now. And he couldn't take them all at once.
"You've left me no choice, fiends! If you could suffer for what you've done to my wonderful Tree Of Might, you would! But since you all seem emotionless, and quite pathetic might I say, then I will run through all of you first, and then I find the master pulling your strings!"
Turles bit into the Fruit, taking a healthy big bite. Having gotten used to the effects, his body bulked up as his energy spiked massively. The first Cyclopian Guard went to stab him, but he pushed it aside, slamming his fist dead center into the eye. It shattered like thick glass around his hand as the guard was thrown back, malfunctioning. Turles had little time to admire his newfound power as the other Guards flew in for the attack. Shaking his hand, he smirked. "So you're made out of some tough stuff eh? Heh heh heh heh heh well then fine! Destroy my Tree and my Crusher Corps? I'll end you all!" Turles reinforced his body, charging forward as well. He busted through the next Guard with much better ease as another rushed him from the side. He turned as it flew under him, slamming an elbow into the back of it, driving it into the ground.
BOOM BOOM
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM
Turles looked around, concern etched across his face as the numbers started piling up...
"HAH!" Turles smashed another Guard away. Now in a sea of metal, it felt like an eternity. Turles armor was gone, he was busted up bloody from head to toe, his fists coated in his blood as his knuckle bones pierced his skin. His knees felt like Boulean jello, having used them to knock away and destroy so many. But they kept coming.
"METAL JUNK!" Turles yelled as he threw out blasts, some of which turned Guards into smoldered metal, others missed entirely.
His team was dead. He had to assume that fact. It felt like hours. Hours of exhaustion. The power the Fruit of Might had given him had run its course. He still had most of the power, but now he was making mistakes. He was shoulder tackled from behind by one of the Cyclopian Guards before another kneed him in the stomach. Blood was forced out of his mouth as he was bludgeoned in the back of the head and sent sliding forward. More booms echoed as more Guards dropped to the planet.
Turles coughed out more blood as he slowly got to his feet. Struggling to stand, he failed to hear another Guard land behind him, his senses all but shot as he was hit in the back of the head again, driven into the ground...
"T-Turles? Wa-wake up, Boss!"
Turles weakly opened his eyes as agony racked his body. The first thing he noticed was how grey the sky now was.
Wasn't it purple before?
He had no time as he looked over, seeing Amond, battered and beaten almost beyond recognition. One of his arms was missing, and before Turles could reach a hand out, one of the Guards roughly pulled the Crusher Corp member to his feet. 2 more roughly pulled Turles to his feet as well, nearly breaking his collarbones. It was then he finally saw the carnage before him. His teammates, his Corp. Lakasei and Rasin had been beaten into literal stumps. Their heads, arms, and legs were all missing. Turles was a Saiyan warrior and was used to seeing horrid atrocities on a battlefield. Hell, he had committed quite a few himself! But what was done to Daiz was even worse. The Kabochan appeared to have suffered horrendous stab wounds all over his body. His eyes were missing and his hair had been burned away. The only way the Saiyan could tell it was him was from his pink leg coverings, which had blackened burned marks all over. Cacao faired no better. The Ikondan/Cyborg hybrid had been pulled apart, all the cyborg implants seemingly ripped away viciously. Only a part of his head, his neck, and half of his arms remained. What was left behind was a vulnerable shell that had no chance against the Cyclopian Guard onslaught. Turles looked over, seeing Amond being pulled over to an area near a mountain of metal. Likely what was left behind from Turles' fight. One of the Guards punched Amond in the face, sending blood flying as he was then thrown into the metal.
"Gah! Wh-What are you...doing to him?" Turles tried pulling from the Guards that held him, but they didn't budge, and neither did he. More than 50 Cyclopian Guards all lined up in a semi-circle as the Saiyan watched from the side. Amond spat out a wad of blood, taking a quick look over at his boss.
"Th-thank you Tu-Turles...For rescuing me from Nutts. What better way to go heh heh heh." Turles watched in horror as all the Guards raised their arms.
"Wh-What are you-"
Thousands...thousands of bullets, some Ki-based, others metallic, all focused in on Amond's location as he was pulverized.
Rat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tata tat tat tat tat tat tat tat tata tat tat tat tata tata tat tat tat tata tat tat tata tat tat tat
PHEW phew phew phew phew phew
BOOM BOOM BOOM
Explosions littered the area Amond's body was in as some of the Cyclopian Guards had pulled out cannons. Turles watched the severe overuse of force in shock. And they continued, for more than a minute as smoke began to build up in the area. When the smoke had reached the Guards, they stopped firing.
"A-A-Amond? H-How...Wh-Why?" As the smoke cleared away, Turles could see what he had been dreading. There was hardly anything left of his former second-in-command. Blood was everywhere, but the body had been pulverized so much by the ammunition that all that was left was pieces. The few pieces left, anyway.
Turles shook, his body trembling in the Guard's clutches. He ignored them, looking at the members of his beloved Crusher Corps, all dead in various ways. For the first time in a long time, Turles could feel something rising in his chest. A lightning bolt struck not far from the battlefield as the Guards looked down at their capture.
"Y-Y-Youuuu...I already... hate you for destroying my Tree...Damn...YOU ALL!" Turles screamed out as another lightning bolt struck, this one only feet away from one of the Guards. The metal began to rise from the force of Turles' anger, his bloody face looking into the sky as he felt his body starting to change, the power in him coursing furiously. His eyes flashed teal for several moments. He thought about his Crusher Corp. He didn't particularly care for any of them, but he did value their work. A simple goal really, to grow strong enough to eventually kill Frieza. But Frieza had been killed, if rumors were to be believed, so they had all felt freedom! The freedom to grow as many Tree of Mights in the Universe and eventually grow strong enough to become Gods!
"But…But my Corp? MY CORP!" Turles eyes widened as the Guards that were holding him were blown back from Turles growing golden aura. The other Guards who had killed Amond all turned their guns towards the Saiyan as his hair spiked upward and golden for a split moment.
"THEY WERE MINE! And you…You took them…You metal bastards…Ahhhh…You….When I find…Your…Ahhhhhh…You will pay dearly…For what you have-"
BAM
Turles had no chance, his golden aura snuffing out instantly as he fell forward, the blow to the back of his head rendering him unconscious.
"I told you all. He's a Saiyan. They are overtly dramatic when it comes to power increases. What happened to "capture the Saiyan and destroy the others" did any of you idiots not get?" A deep, metallic voice spoke as it walked over the unconscious Saiyan, his tail smacking into the ground near Turles' head.
"I've been looking for you, Turles!"...
Turles woke some time later, his body strapped to some kind of…metallic chair. There were utensils on a table near his chair, as he looked on. A figure walked by, one he all too easily recognized.
"C-C-Cooler? What...happened to you?" The figure turned around, a dangerous smirk on his face as his red eyes gleamed. The metallic figure walked over, standing well and above the chair as Turles' eyes trembled.
This was not Cooler!
"You have me...mistaken. My son could never wield the power of the Big Gete Star like I can." He laughed. A deep, metallic laugh that sent chills up and down Turles' spine.
"K-King...Cold?"...
Shepard, Vegeta, Raditz, Goku, and Soba all looked at Meta Turles', horrified in some ways, and curious in others.
"Once the King had his little…conversation with me, his trusted henchman, Guide Robo, made it a very important point to carve me right up. They sliced, poked, prodded, ripped apart heh heh heh grrr…" Meta Turles seemed to space out for a moment, closing his eyes and smacking his head twice. "Even still, he tries to resist. Your pathetic Uncle is quite the temperamental one hmm?" Meta Turles chuckled even more as Shepard looked back at Soba, nodding. Soba understood instantly, using Instantaneous Movement to teleport to a barren location.
Meta Turles chuckled, mistaken the Yardratian's intent. "Your little friend won't get very far. Once I have you all, it will be a simple matter to…gather the pathetic life forms of this dismal planet."
Shepard laughed, heartily. Meta Turles quirked an eyebrow. "Laughing at your imminent doom will not save you."
Vegeta soon joined in, as well as Raditz. Goku held his mouth snickering.
"Heh heh heh heh heh…you think Soba is running?" Shepard asked snarkily, his white gold eyebrows wiggling up and down. Meta Turles didn't get the hint until Shepard burst through the fog, his speed catching Meta Turles off guard, grabbing the metallic shoulder of the former Saiyan.
Zzt
"Save our fight for later, Vegeta?" Goku asked with a smile. Vegeta scoffed as Raditz grabbed ahold of Goku's shoulder.
"Hmph. Suit yourself, Kakarot." The Prince said, grabbing the other shoulder.

"Whoa!" Shepard somehow dodged the incoming Saiyans' Instant Transmission, having kicked Meta Turles away just now.
"Watch it!" Shepard said in a joking manner. Meta Turles snarled as he made his way to his feet, looking up at the cliff upon which Soba stood, eyeing him intently.
"How the hell did you manage to do that?" Raditz asked. He was very curious about Shepard's training...
"I got very very lucky. It was instinct." Shepard said with a smirk, turning back toward the metal Saiyan. He honestly was curious how he managed to pull that off. He was already moving back. Maybe he moved fast enough to dodge it outright?
"What the devil is this?" Meta Turles looked curiously. Shepard smirked, about to get in a stance before a palm grabbed his shoulder.
"Allow me," Raditz said, stepping past Shepard.
"Aww come on man."
"He's our Uncle. Whatever did this to him, one of us must be the one to deal with it. I won't ask again." Raditz said determinedly. He walked forward until he was within a handful of feet from Meta Turles.
"You've made a dreadful mistake in challenging me, boy!" Meta Turles' eyes shined for a split second. It was all the warning Raditz had as he dodged with a flip back, an explosion hitting the ground where his feet were just at. "So we're starting with fireworks?" Raditz smirked, phasing away. Meta Turles did as well. The echoes of their battle echoed in the BOOMS and the many flashes of light as they collided over and over. Raditz and Meta Turles were exchanging heavy fists and kicks across the sky as Meta Turles ducked below one of Raditz's kicks, grabbing his other foot and flying down.
"AHHHH!" BOOM
Meta Turles slammed the long-haired Saiyan into the top of a boulder. Flying along and dragging Raditz out, the rugged Saiyan turned, kicking Meta Turles in the face from behind, knocking him away.
"You'll have to do better than that, abomination!" Raditz said as he pointed at his 'Uncle'.
"Ahh, so we're dipping right into the negative pleasantries, are we? Heh heh heh heh heh you think that offends me? I am beyond those simple emotions heh heh heh!" Meta Turles responded as he slowly raised his hand.
"PULSE DRIVE!" Meta Turles yelled out, sending a massive purple beam of energy at Raditz. The long-haired Saiyan's eyes widened in alarm as he just dodged it to the side, moving forward toward the metallic Saiyan.
BOOM
"AUGH!" Raditz was thrust forward from the secondary explosion from Meta Turles' beam involuntarily. Meta Turles flashed forward, slamming a knee into Raditz's stomach. His feet picked up the rock behind effortlessly as he was forced back.
"Think you can take me, foolish boy? I'LL DIG YOUR GRAVE!" The metallic Saiyan rushed forward, punching Raditz in the face. A knee forced blood out of Raditz's mouth as was sent into the sky. Raditz didn't have time as Meta Turles phased above him, smashing him in the back with both hands. Meta Turles didn't wait as he began firing a load of purple energy blasts, hitting Raditz just as he hit the ground.
Shepard, Goku, and Vegeta looked on, each watching as the multitude of explosions threw up all kinds of dirt and debris.
"Why is your stupid brother stalling?" Vegeta asked in annoyance.
"Hmm, I dunno. This guy feels strange…Like there's…more than one?" Goku scratched his head in wonder.
Meta Turles looked down, approving of his work.
Zzt
BAM
Meta Turles turned around fast, catching Raditz's fist in his palm.
"Heh heh heh heh thought you would evade me?" Meta Turles slammed an uppercut into Raditz's stomach. Spit left Raditz's mouth as he doubled over the fist.
"What you don't realize, is that even now, your pathetic, weak, feeble-minded Uncle still somehow persists in trying to circumvent our efforts."
Raditz coughed before he started chuckling, spitting out another wad of spit as he did. Meta Turles went to pull away, but the long-haired Saiyan grabbed his fist before looking up. His eyes now teal, showed determination, ripping Meta Turles hand away from him before turning and throwing the metallic Saiyan away. Meta Turles recovered a short distance away, scowling.
"What you've…done to him is unforgivable! I was hoping there was some shred of you left in there, Uncle. No more holding back with you!" Raditz's power exploded, his hair and tail both flashing gold as his muscles expanded slightly.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" his golden aura stretched out, shredding the ground beneath him as Meta Turles looked on, an unreadable expression on his face.
"Heh…heh heh heh heh… heh heh heh heh heh…Hahahahahahahahahaha!" He started laughing, confusing the angry Super Saiyan across from him.
"Something funny to get off your chest before I smash it into your spine?" Raditz snarled out. He was still getting used to transforming without thinking about what made him transform in the first place. He had not seen that Earthling woman in over a year and a half now. But the thought of the Big Gete Star going further out in space, perhaps finding his mother…
"This is wonderful! Tell me, I see that traitorous Shepard is transformed, can the other two transform into a Super Saiyan as well?" Meta Turles asked, a gleeful, vicious smile on his lips.
"Of course they can!" Raditz answered with pride, defending his rivals and little brother.
"Marvelous." Meta Turles said no more, phasing forward and throwing a punch. Raditz took it on the jaw, flying back but landing shortly and coming back in. Their forearms smashed together for several moments before an all-out battle ensued. Both warriors battled across the land, Meta Turles throwing a kick, Raditz blocking and coming across with an elbow across the metallic Saiyan's face, sending him flying with the long-haired Saiyan following. Raditz slammed his head into Meta Turles', making him stumble back a few steps, holding his nose. Raditz watched as silver tendrils of some kind withered around Meta Turles' face, seemingly fixing his nose.
"What is that? He can…Regenerate? Or is it something else?"
"The power of the Big Gete Star flows through me now, boy! No matter what you do, you can't destroy me hahahahahahaha-AUCK!"
The sound of a fist ripping through a body would normally be music to Raditz's ears, but he didn't want to fight his Uncle any longer. The long-haired Super Saiyan didn't even get so much of a chance to speak as Meta Turles slowly started chuckling. Silver tendrils began surrounding the area where Raditz's fist went. He pulled his hand out and away not knowing what that stuff could do to him. Before he knew it, the hole where Raditz punched had sealed up, leaving no blemish behind.
"Heh heh heh heh heh heh your pathetic…Grrrr…Uncle…Was on the cusp of becoming a Super Saiyan himself. Seeing his weak and useless team be destroyed was quite the motivator heh heh heh heh. His wonderful Super Saiyan power has regenerated the Big Gete Star for the Next Age! Soon we will take you and the others and add you all to our collective! And then…"
"What do you mean, regenerated the Big Gete Star? Wh-what did you do to my Uncle? Damn you!" Raditz was furious as Meta Turles laughed even more, the metallic aftertone making the long-haired Super Saiyan seethe further.
"You're asking the wrong question, Saiyan. The question is what didn't we do heh heh heh heh heh…Hahahahahahahahahaha!"
"Grrraahhhh! Then I will rip you to pieces until your regeneration doesn't work any longer!"… The long-haired Super Saiyan yelled as Meta Turles yelled in kind, both charging forward. Their hands came together as they each collided, pushing against each other!…
"You're so close, focus…Foooocus." He sat cross-legged on the grassy ground, watching with pride as he sensed his son's eye began to shine like gold.
Chukadon could sense his son's imminent departure. He had learned so much about his son's life on Earth. With a renewed sense of finding purpose, Tien could now focus on finding peace as well.
But that peace would be forged with fire brighter than Kaiseki's sun.
Tien stood 20 feet in front of his father, legs bent slightly as his hands were also out in front of him. Around his wrists were big red donut-like objects. They were also around his legs. His main eyes were closed in fierce concentration, but his 3rd eye concentrated fiercely, moving in several directions and focusing on something only he and his father could see.
Chukadon moved a finger, moving the nearly microscopic energy blast, only comprised of a handful of atoms, around the open Heaven field, causing it to do unpredictable patterns, but Tien had caught the movement, moving his eye as it shined gold for several moments.
"GOT IT!" Tien yelled out in excitement, using his eye to destroy the blast, causing a small, but somewhat powerful explosion in the air.
"I did it!" Tien smiled behind him as Chukadon smiled back, clapping.
"Excellent son, your Sight has vastly improved since we first met. Not quite as strong as expected, but with time and learning, you will blow by me, my boy." Chukadon said as he flipped onto his feet. The air around them clean, the Father and Son had taken time to rebuild Tien's psyche, allowing him a more in-depth view of his people and history. The Kaisekians were a great warrior race, focused more on the individual self rather than the conquest of others. They did not travel the stars looking to pillage. What King Cold had done to his people, as well as to so many others, was unforgivable.
"I've learned so much. Is it really...Time?" Tien walked over to his father, who he had gotten so used to being around. The similarities still got to him, but he was more comfortable around Chukadon now. Things got much smoother after he finally met his mother, Chai.
"Aye. I'm afraid it is son. Not quite the amount of time I hoped for, but, if what King Kai has told me is correct, then Cold is on the move, and if he is heading to your home, then you need to be there. And remember, you mustn't act in revenge. That is not the way of the Kaiseki."
"That may be, father. But I wasn't raised Kaisekian, I was raised on Earth. I can adhere to our beliefs, but I still must do what I have to do."
"The woman who killed your mother mustn't be acted upon son. If what that blasted Saiyan has told me is correct, her future still longs after you return." Tien had met Bardock a couple of times. He still wondered how that man could be Goku's father, despite the physical similarities, the Saiyan was brilliant and seemed to have a knack for seeing ahead. Physically similar, perhaps. Maybe Goku used Bardock's brilliance for fighting, because he was an idiot, otherwise.
Tien laughed internally at the thought, knowing he wanted to have a fight with his rival, and of course, deal with what his former master had done to him. Just thinking about it still made him bitter.
SNAP
Chukadon snapped his fingers, allowing the heavy weights to fall around Tien. All 4 cratered the ground in more than a foot. Tien flexed his hands, rolling his feet around beneath him. He would admit his training in Otherworld had done him wonders, and the techniques he had learned...
There was no more time as a portal opened up nearby. Chukadon looked at it wistfully before looking at his son.
"I'm proud of you, Tien. Continue your training. Improve your sight. Show what we Kaisekians are made of! And...Stay alive l... I don't want to see you back here for years yet." Chukadon gripped his son's shoulder before he pulled him in one last time for a hug. Tien, who was not much of a hugger, slowly put his own hands around his father, feeling his energy one last time. Pulling back, he gave a genuine smile.
"Thank you, Father. I'm honored I got to meet you. I won't let you down!" Tien clenched his fist, feeling his energy surge from his training. He was above and beyond where he was before! He turned toward the portal, seeing his Father in his mind's eye one last time as he walked through.
The sensation of crossing onto another planet was not what had Tien's eyes gazing over at the trembling King Kai.
"King Kai!"
"Wh-Wha-Oh Tien it's about time! Quick you need to see what's going on!" King Kai turned back around, allowing Tien to put his hand on the Kai's back. He only needed a few seconds, but his eyes widened in absolute horror.
"Get me in contact with somebody on Earth right away King Kai!"
He focused in on the one person that could most certainly help him!...
So Trunks and another have made their way to the past, hopeful to speak to someone about their troubles! Who is the other teenager? I think if you picture him speaking in your head, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out :-D. What do you think of Meta Turles? Meta Cold? Ooooooh I hope I get feedback because it's starting to get crazy! And Tien made a brief appearance for the first time in a little while. How strong do you think he is? I hope you enjoyed this chapter peeps. And as always, follow, favorite, review, please. Let me know what's up. Tell me it sucks, but offer ideas in which to make it better. Or tell me it's great, but still offer some ideas! I won't always consider them, but I could see merit in some of your ideas, with Shepard's twist of course. Thank you for sticking with me. Power levels will go up after the next 2-3 chapters. After this arc is over so I get everybody at once. See you all again soon for another installment of Dragon Ball: BtG! x
