Hello to all, this is Chapter 19 of the third Arc of Volume 6: Climax in Hueco Mundo!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 6: Chapter 19: The Hellish Cold Resurrection!
Previously in DKR:
Mew Ichigo, still stunned by Aizen's reveal of her Inner Demon, was heavily unprepared against the Masked Arrancar and Jonouchi couldn't do much with his damaged Duel Disk. The cat girl tried to fight him but she couldn't do anything and worst, the Inner Tiger's influence tried to get her to use her power and Ichigo was in dismay, not willingly to submit to such power. The Masked Arrancar prepared to kill the two but he was stopped by the arrival of Jenny/Mew Plum and Masaya/Blue Knight. They tried to fight him but the enemy's skills were above theirs, especially to Masaya's shock that his skills remained him so much to his own but much more advanced and aggressive. Almost like-
It was at that time Yugi arrived along with the others, setting them down as he confronted the masked enemy. They waste no time clash as their strikes and movements were evenly matched but it is clear Yugi's growth was much higher and after Yugi slashed a piece off the enemy's mask to confirm his suspicions: The enemy was Deep Blue, one revived by Aizen with a new Arrancar-like body. This terrified those who remembered him, especially Masaya and Ichigo. Yugi vowed to stop him for good but Deep Blue had enough of his archenemy's words, unleashing his Resurrección.
Will Yugi be able to fight such power now? Or…
And now the conclusion... last left off:
Everything hit so fast and shivering cold. Mew Ichigo groans weakly, breathing cold breath as she's embraced by Yugi's arms. He smiles as he sets her on the ground, showing he grabbed everyone with his wings and tail, also gently putting them down. He guarded everyone with a Dragonaun Barrier that shattered like ice.
Jonouchi and Honda breathe heavily, noticing their breaths as icy cold. Taichi startles heavily to see the whole room is instantly covered in frozen ice with some thick, icy mist around the room. It's like the ice age occurred. Skitty trembles of cold as Riolu holds close to her, also not liking this cold.
"Are you guys okay?'' Yugi asks, turning around to see how overwhelming that release of power turns this whole pillar. If he didn't reach everyone on time; they would have all died. Riolu barks at him, giving him a thumb up that they are fine.
''We're fine Yugi, but…'' Anzu starts saying, shivering how cold this room has become. Even Mew Plum and Masaya have never felt such coldness before.
''It's so cold, Nya. Almost…'' Mew Ichigo begins to say, hissing as her skin suddenly aches with such pain. Yugi looks at her and widens his eyes to see some of exposed skin is red, almost like she's been boiled. The same is also happening to the others with exposed skin. He soon feels his left hand and feels this sensation too, confirming it in shock. ''Burning.''
No doubt about it; his hand is burning and it must be what the others are feeling too. Yugi then looks forward and narrows his eyes seriously, watching a figure emerge from the mist. The group soon sees it and Masaya utters in terror. ''That's…''
Walking out of the thick, icy mist is Deep Blue, who has transformed. He gains a white, long coat-like one-piece outfit resembling his old outfit except pure white with some blue lining across the uniform. His white hair is much longer, his mark pieces across his cheek and head have become sharper. He has gained a long dark blue, reptile-like tail with dark blue scales across his uniform from his neck to the side of his cheek as well as his hands, having become partly humanoid reptile claws. His blue eyes have become more reptile as he wields a pure white bladed, medium shaped greatsword.
''Yes, Sir Dragonaun…'' Deep Blue begins to proclaim as his eyes blink like a reptile. ''This is my Resurrección: Reptil del Infierno.'' His body erupts in electrical, fiery energy coursing through his body.
The mere energy he's releasing is like trembles, horrifying everyone but Yugi who only glares with sweat dripping on the side of his cheek. Not only that but the others feel stun, almost like they receive frostbite and their bodies can't move.
''Partner, careful.'' Atem's voice echoes in Yugi's mind, also feeling this wicked, dreadful cold energy emitting from their old enemy; even grander than before. ''He's become colder and darker than ever before. His power is far beyond than what his past self was.''
Yugi just nods firmly, more aware than anyone by his power increased, as he gazes at the transformed Arrancar hybrid. He doesn't waste charging at him, needing to take this fight away from the others. He dashes in with insane speed right in front of the standing Deep Blue, swinging his blade and hits him directly… but Yugi widens his eyes as the blade hits his hand, who suddenly moves it much faster than him and blocks the swing, only sparks flying out of it.
Deep Blue still stands there, unfazed, until his tail moves and nearly thrusts through Yugi like a spear. Everyone panics heavily until it's revealed to be an afterimage. The real Yugi is above the air, panting deeply as he barely reacts to that.
The alien raises his reptilian-like eyes upward, eyeing the Dragon Knight who says in a worrying banter. ''Guess those reptile features are due to having my Dragon Knight DNA huh? So should I call you Scale Blue? Deep Lizard? Blue Tail?''
Jonouchi snickers at the last remark until Mew Plum gives him a death glare as this isn't a time for jokes.
''Correct. They have improved me…'' Deep Blue, ignoring his taunts, answers his question as he vanishes and reappears in the air right in front of him, already swinging his blade at him. ''And have surpassed you.''
Yugi widens his eyes in horror, just barely reacting as the sword comes down at him and he swings upward, clashing against his… However, Yugi curves the swing his blade as Deep Blue's sword bypasses and slashes him vertically across the stomach.
''GAAW!'' He roars in agony, blood coming out from his stomach and mouth as he backs away. Everyone is terrified, especially Mew Ichigo. The tricolor glares shaken at the alien god, his wounds already regenerated thanks to Yin-Yang Dragon's powers.
Deep Blue takes notice of that as Yugi floats up straight, wielding his blade with both hands. He eyes his stomach and the wound is seemingly gone.
''I see. So that is the work of that two-headed beast within you.'' The alien Arrancar concludes, fully aware of Yin-Yang Dragon through Aizen. He soon vanishes with his faster Sonido but Yugi also vanishes with Yin-Yang Dash, trying to get to his back to counter-
He then widens his eyes as Deep Blue is now at his side, already swinging his blade instantly. Yugi staggers, only able to swing his sword defensively to block or parry Deep Blue's aggressively sword strike but as the blades this time clashed; Deep Blue's swing actually launches and sends Yugi crashing through the floor, hitting not just hitting 1 or 2 but all the way down to bottom floor.
''Yugi-kun!'' Mew Ichigo cries out as she and the others are forced to get away as the floor they're standing on begins to crack. Deep Blue eyes her, about to turn his attention towards her until he's tackled, kicked and punched by 3 of Yugi's Dragon Clones, slamming him into the upper floor.
The real Yugi stands up from the bottom floor, breathing heavily as it's hard to breathe due to the cold. It's not that he feels frozen; he feels the opposite, heat that's trying to melt his body.
''His coldness is almost like a furnace.'' Yugi questions mentally, realizing that the cold and ice is more like fire, burning his very body. He isn't the only one as Yin Dragon reveals. ''Almost like the 9th Circle of Hell; a frozen wasteland.''
''Ice so cold that it burns.'' Yang Dragon adds on as Yugi agrees. He looks up just as Deep Blue slashes down the last Dragon Clone he disposes off. He now flies at him at top speed, swinging the Dragon Blade but the alien evades it without trying as he thrusts his sword to stab him but hits the air. Yugi uses Instant Transmission to appear feet away, pointing his Dragon Blade engulfed in purple flames.
"DRAGONAUN BURNING!'' He roars, firing a stream of flames at his back and connects… until the flames suddenly turned frozen and shattered by Deep Blue's sheer Spiritual Energy. ''The flames froze?!''
Deep Blue vanishes and reappears above him, swinging his sword as Yugi forms a Dragonaun Barrier to protect himself but the sword cuts through it and cuts across the right shoulder and down from his chest. The swing was meant for his neck but the barrier redirected the strike to those parts as the swing sent him crashing back into the ground.
Mew Ichigo and the others watch in horror as the crash shakes the tower up. They descend fast just as they stop at the 3rd floor down to see Yugi standing up, bruised badly as his shoulder and chest wounds are already regenerating.
He breathes heavily, the cold burning his lungs by just breathing too long. Still, Yugi refuses to give up as he raises his Dragon Blade forward and immediately; Deep Blue proclaims unemotionally. ''It's meaningless.'' His energy erupts with sparks of electricity flying all over him as he lands onto the ground. ''You will now surrender and truly die here.''
The alien-Arrancar hybrid raises his left hand, charging up dark energy as a sphere of energy and aiming it towards Yugi.
''FALL, PLEASE!'' Before he could fire, a large teleportation hole manifests underneath the Arrancar as he falls into the ground. Yugi startles, knowing that voice however Deep Blue flies through the ground just as another voice shouts out. ''SQUALL RELEASE!'' Swirls of wind with electrical discharge fills in the entire room, centering around Deep Blue. ''VORTEX DEVASTATION!'' He's suddenly trapped and being damaged by an electrical typhoon. It spins faster and faster, making everyone brace themselves as it moves and tears through the side of the pillar, shattering that side as it spirals away from the already damaged tower.
Yugi pants as he turns and sees both Wizard and Kojan revealing themselves. Ichigo sighs of relief that they came to help them.
''Haruto-kun! Kojan-kun!'' Yugi utters out with a smile, also relieved.
Ironically, Kojan was found by Haruto and they arrive together here just in time.
''Always getting yourself in trouble huh?'' Wizard comments to the Dragon Knight while Kojan scoffs, gazing at the direction of his typhoon until he widens his eyes, watching with his Sharingan eyes as the typhoon becomes solid ice. It soon cracks into pieces, revealing the Alien-Arrancar Hybrid, floating in the air.
''So this is the heartless Alien God, Deep Blue.'' Kojan proclaims, having heard of him but never met him in person. He eyes Yugi and scoffs as he says. ''Aizen sure knows how to tickle your bone huh?''
''…'' Yugi makes no response, glaring firm at Deep Blue as he starts moving slowly towards the damaged pillar. Kojan looks unimpressed yet he can tell this one is on a level more than the other two Arrancars that Yugi fought. He can't hold his punches with this one.
''Fine, let's make this-'' The Uchiha begins to proclaim, walking forward as he grabs his own Dragon Sword until Yugi stops him by dashing in front of him. ''Wait, Kojan-kun.''
Kojan glares, unaware that Yugi knows Deep Blue better than anyone; already concluding that he will go after his friends and use them by trying to kill them so he has to protect him and costing his life. He can't let that happen as he tells his friend. ''He's my opponent.''
Wizard is surprised by that while Kojan is clearly annoyed. Mew Ichigo, overhearing this with her sensitive ears, frowns as Yugi would not be so prideful to fight someone this strong. Her only clue is that this is Deep Blue and from… their experience with him; he wants to see Yugi suffer and kill him badly.
''You can't be serious! He-'' Mew Plum also overhears that and can't accept this. However, Yugi turns to Mew Ichigo, smiling as he removes the Millennium Puzzle and tosses it to her who catches it. She looks puzzled as Yugi just smiles before he walks past Kojan while staring determinedly towards Deep Blue as his sheer power quakes the area.
''I got this. Protect the others.'' He asks of the Uchiha, needing to be the one to fight him. Kojan looks at him and scoffs, letting him do as he pleases. Mew Plum frowns, not wanting him to fight but… she has no choice.
Yugi walks towards Deep Blue as he reminds him. ''You said you wanted me to surrender and die, right?''
Deep Blue does not say a word. Yugi slowly cracks a small smirk, resuming. ''You're kidding me, right? I'm not planning to lose to you.'' He grips the Dragon Blade tightly as he raises it forward and holds on to it with both hands. ''And I don't care how strong your form is. With my bonds, I will...''
His body begins to erupt in a red aura, burning across his whole body that the ground shakes.
''OVERCOME IT!'' He roars furiously as the aura burns even hotter. ''STAGE 3!'' The energy explodes upward as three large energy tails soar up high. Everyone feels it as Mew Ichigo and the others arrive next to Wizard and Kojan, watching and feeling the overflowing energy Yugi is summoning across his whole body. Skitty purrs in amazement with Riolu mesmerized by his burning aura.
They all watch as Yugi gains the energy dragon-shaped shroud across his whole body as three energy tails flow above the real one and his wings also coated in the same shroud.
Kojan stares silently at Yugi's overgrowing energy, exploding like a geyser.
''Yugi's energy is massive and he's just in his third tailed form?'' He questions, horrified by the leap of power Yugi has gained. Not even his 4th Tailed form he used against him was this powerful.
Deep Blue scowls as Yugi roars, charging forward. ''YIN-YANG DASH!'' With a single mighty step, Yugi moves from his distance to punch Deep Blue directly across the face. The impact sends him flying backwards but he stops himself in midair only to get smacked by one of the energy tails, sending up high. He stops himself once more as he raises his sword.
''GOLPE DE FRIO CORTANTE!'' Deep Blue utters, swinging his blade, coated in sharp ice with dark aura energy, and fires a frozen energy wave. Yugi leaps right towards it, extending his Dragon Blade forward as swirls of fiery energy coats around it to resemble a spiraling lance.
''DRAGONAUN LANCER!'' Yugi roars loudly, thrusting the blade against the wave and both attacks collide. Swirls of ice and flames mix and burn/freeze the environment around the two opposing elements. However, Yugi is clearly pushing forward as he thrusts deeper in and pierces through the wave. He comes at Deep Blue who guards with his great sword as Yugi pushes harder, actually sending himself and Deep Blue blasting through the fake sky and right into the tips of the Las Noches, smashing through a small portion of the fake sky to the real sky of Hueco Mundo.
The others watch as the two just vanished, looking up.
''Yugi-kun…'' Mew Ichigo utters, squeezing both her hands over her chest together, forming a small sad cat tooth frown. She understood why he did that; he doesn't want anyone around them to get hurt, especially all those he loves.
"You always put your health, your own life ahead of anyone else willingly to take the risk.'' She begins to express mentally, admiring his courage more than anyone; why she loves him… and why she is afraid he might die. ''You want to protect everyone you love, not caring if it might kill you.''
Ichigo slowly forms a frown, not able to accept that. She doesn't… She really doesn't want to lose him. She looks at the Millennium Puzzle, wearing it to protect it but frowns.
''I don't…'' Making up her mind, the cat girl turns to Kojan and pleads to him. ''Kojan-kun, take me up there!''
Kojan turns towards her with a look of shock, immediately arguing.''What are you talking about, Momomiya! Yugi can-''
''I ALSO WANT TO PROTECT HIM NYA!'' Mew Ichigo yells at him, interrupting as she needs; she must be there to become his shield, his healer, his light.
''He's risking his life on a foe we know wants nothing more but to kill him. He might have a trump card or something worse.'' Ichigo starts expressing, knowing how dangerous the situation is for Yugi and she needs to reach him, to protect who he is and not fade away. ''Please, I want to protect his smile too!'' Skitty purrs just as emotional too, wanting her to protect him as does Riolu
Kojan looks at them, hesitating to do as she asks but he ultimately declines with a cold shoulder. ''Find some other transport.'' The cat girl looks down, saddened, and enraging Jonouchi.
Immediately he's grabbed by the shoulder and turns him around as he's punched across the face by Jonouchi. It staggers the Uchiha as the blond head grabs him by the collar, facing him eye-to-eye, as he barks enraged and loud. ''AREN'T YOU HIS FRIEND?!'' He squeezes his grip tighter. ''He hasn't stopped concerning you as his friend! And you're both Dragon Knights!''
Kojan just glares, refusing to acknowledge him but Ichigo speaks up kindly. ''Please, don't abandon him because you and him fight for different reasons! You two have strong feelings to fight for hope!''
''…'' Kojan looks at her, narrowing his eyes as he can see the image of Keiko; of her smile… before she died. He sighs, going to regret this as he begins saying. ''Fine, but only-''
''TAKE US TOO!'' Honda yells out, wanting to come too along with Anzu, Mew Plum, Masaya as well as Taichi and Agumon.
''Yugi is trying to protect us but we want to protect him too!'' Anzu expresses, also wanting to protect him with Honda agreeing strongly. ''He's our best bud! We stick together!''
Ichigo blushes softly for their cares as does Mew Plum.
''CONNECT, PLEASE!'' The group turns to see Wizard forming a magical circle portal as emerging out is the Machinewinger. He mounts it, holding a helmet and tosses it to Mew Ichigo who catches it before ordering her. ''Let's drive.''
The cat girl slowly smiles before she smirks and puts the helmet on. She runs and hops behind him. Wizard snickers, telling her. ''Hold on tight.'' Mew Ichigo does by his waist as Wizard drives off right to the undamaged side of the frozen pillar as he swipes his right handed Wizard Ring over his belt.
''GRAVITY, PLEASE!'' The Wizardriver announces as leaps his bike up on the walls of the frozen pillar and drives onto it thanks to the gravitational pull of his magic. He drives at top speed as the others watch with Kojan forcing Jonouchi to release him, entering his Burst Limit form and manifesting his Susanoo. Its arms grab onto them as gently as it can before it flies upward with Kojan controlling the maintenance of his avatar.
Mew Ichigo grips tightly on the rider, looking up as she can feel Yugi fighting with all his might. She needs to be there; no, she must be there to fight side-by-side with him. Atem is next to her in spirit form, frowning as he hopes Yugi knows what he's doing.
''Yugi-kun…'' The cat girl begins to say, closing her eyes for a moment of hesitation before opening them with strong determination. ''Hold on, please Nya!'' As the Machinewinger drives faster across the pillar.
Commercial Break:
Outside of Las Noches, the fight between Yugi and Deep Blue rages on as waves of heat and frost clash, over and over. Blades clash over and over as well as they fly around like a dance of sparks.
Holding back his breath, the Dragon Knight exhales Dragon Arts: Fire Dragon Technique as the fiery dragon comes down at the Arrancar who stands there as the flames consume him but in reality; the flames could not penetrate through his sheer cold energy surrounding him. He then releases a blast of frost and lightning that Yugi blocks with a Dragonaun Barrier.
Yugi then notices that his dragon tail and tail are partly burned, likely hit by some of Deep Blue's attacks. He looks at his left hand, partly burned too by this coldness. He confirms his suspicions, calling out to his foe. "So your Resurrección is actually frostbite; absolute coldness that burns like the strongest heat?''
Deep Blue does not respond as Yugi further says, almost taunting this power and transformation. "It suits you honestly. It explains the reptile partial transformation.''
''Do you now see how hopeless it is to fight me?'' The alien now speaks, questioning him that he has no hope against him. Yugi looks down at him and just smirks, replying carefree. ''Hopeless? I'm not sure about that.'' He then gets serious as he flies at him but Deep Blue does the same. They extend their blades to slash the other until they vanish. Next thing happens is multiple afterimages of Yugi and Deep Blue scatter across the night sky; clashing swords in different manners until the real two soar over the moon reflecting its moonlight upon them.
''DRAGONAUN BURST!'' Aiming his Dragon Blade, Yugi shouts, firing a purple energy blast from his weapon to reflect the incoming Cero that Deep Blue just fired. The two attacks collided, rippling with such intense power that their afterimages dissolved into nothing. Soon both blasts implode and dissolve as the two opponents charge at the other. Deep Blue fires an intense frost lightning attack as Yugi extends his left hand, gripping on a growing sphere of energy taking on a dragon's head.
''DRAGONAUN RASENGAN!'' Yugi roars as his spiraling attack collides against the blast. The two attacks slam themselves against the other, swirls of energy repelling the other until their attacks explode and blasts the other away.
Yugi grits his teeth, placing his left index and middle finger over his forehead as he vanishes. Deep Blue sees this, turning around to assume that's where Yugi is but hits nothing. Yugi actually reappears below him as he shouts, extending his left arm over him.
''BAKUDO #4: HAINAWA!'' He shouts as a yellow energy rope shoots out and wraps around the Arrancar. Yugi then points his left index finger and smirks, snapping his fingers as he shouts. ''BAKUDO #61: RIKUJOKORO!''
The yellow energy rope suddenly reforms and becomes 6 beams of light that stabs across the Arrancar-Alien hybrid, keeping himself in place and unable to move. Yugi flies above him as Deep Blue can't move.
''This attack will settle it!'' He shouts as he swings his blade over his head and then a surge of purple flames shoots upward from the blade.
''Roar, Heavenly Dragon…'' Yugi begins to roar, swinging his blade around, leaving behind trails of flames, before he swings it downward towards Deep Blue. ''DRAGONAUN TENGOKU!'' He fires his signature attack as the fiery energy serpent dragon roars out of the blade, coming right towards the Arrancar to consume them.
Deep Blue watches as the attack is about to hit him until the beams turn into solid ice and shatter on impact. He raises his left hand, swirls of pitch black energy forms around the palm of his hand.
''Cero… Abismo.'' He utters out as the sphere explodes and expands as a pitch black Cero that resembles a starless night sky. The attack collides against the fiery dragon, trying to break through this endless darkness. It tries to and yet the beam of pure darkness pushes the energy dragon back. Yugi is visibly shocked as he growls. He tries to push harder, his hands trembling as he tries his best to push deeper.
''Can't… lose… now…'' He tells himself, struggling as the darkness is nearly about to consume the energy dragon and then devour him too until he lets out a powerful roar. ''STAGE 4!'' A burst of fiery aura ignites across his body as a fourth energy tail emerges. Its energy also surrounds the Dragonaun Tengoku, causing the energy dragon to push forward against the darkness. It glows brightly as it spirals its body around in a circle, blowing back the abyss of dark energy, before launching itself and shines like the sun. It dissolves but at the cost of vanquishing the darkness as well as heavily damages Deep Blue who vanishes. The light soon dies out.
Yugi breathes so heavily that his breath is visible by the cold around him. He soon leaps and flies, ascending up to the hole he sent Deep Blue through and soon finds himself outside. He looks around until he picks up his aura and looks up, seeing the damaged Arrancar in the air in the blackest night sky.
''Seems we're both evenly matched.'' Yugi proclaims, oddly taunting him since he can go one more tail form to close the gap and defeat him for good. However…
''… No.'' The star-headed young man raises an eyebrow by Deep Blue's responses as he raises his blade and shouts. ''HOJA CONGELADA TEMIDA!''
He swings his sword and releases an intense energy slash so cold it is almost absolute zero.
''DRAGONAUN BARRIER!'' Yugi counters, forming his purple fiery barrier by swinging his body and guarding with his wings. The icy wave hits across the barrier, protecting Yugi but he grunts as his wings are partly frozen just like before. It's not just that but even the shroud of his wings are frozen too.
''I knew it. The Frostbite bypass the barrier and even the shroud.'' The Dragon Knight comments his suspicions from back then as Deep Blue nods, confirming them as he then says unemotional. ''No warm will surface the bitterness of frozen death.''
Yugi, oddly enough, cracks a smirk as he asks playfully. ''You sure about that?''
Deep Blue doesn't follow as Yugi takes a deep breath before he erupts in a roar. ''STAGE 5!'' His energy shrouds erupt with greater energy, burning hotter than magma as a fifth tail forms. In the process, the frostbite melts as he is surrounded in such heat that steam surrounds him.
Yugi swipes the dust of frost off his coat once, still gazing at the Arrancar-Alien hybrid. Deep Blue just looks at him, annoyed by all of his tricks and ''power-ups''.
''You still believe you could win.'' He questions him and Yugi smiles before answering him. ''Of course I'll win.'' He gets serious, raising his Dragon Blade forward as his wings flap strongly. ''Because your revenge towards me will never come true. It's petty and kinda stupid.''
''…'' Deep Blue just looks at him, silently and staring. Yugi frowns as this is a good time to get some intel on what Aizen planned to do or already did with Ichigo. She looked fine when he saw her but again in that tower; she was… off like something disturbed her.
''I am curious; was it your idea that made Aizen-kun go after Ichigo-kun? If so, I feel pity for you. You only made me-'' Yugi begins to question him, hoping to get him to speak since he detests being looked down upon and it worked… however…
''You are incorrect.'' Yugi raises an eyebrow by Deep Blue's response. ''It was his order to capture that woman. And he ordered me to not kill her yet.''
That last part disturbed Yugi, repeating it. ''Yet?''
Deep Blue gazes towards him with a narrow gaze, further correcting him. ''You are also incorrect that my revenge is towards you.''
Yugi still doesn't follow with a puzzled expression. That didn't make any sense; he was the one that bested Deep Blue when he unlocked the imperfect Dragon Slayer.
''You bested me and I will deal with you swiftly but my hate, my disdain, my despair…'' The former pure Alien begins to express the one who ruined his ambitions, his goals; the woman his fake copy fell in love with. ''Is towards the woman who took my body and my life!''
Yugi widens his eyes, not believing it; he wants to kill Ichigo.
''And I will kill her once I make her watch how you die again, Sir Dragonaun.'' Deep Blue proclaims, going to show her what absolute despair is like by killing her "knight". Yugi growls as he protests, irritated. ''That will never happen a second time!''
Deep Blue doesn't snarl or scoff at his response as he begins uttering out. ''Then let me show you…'' As his body is surrounded in dark blue aura. ''The coldness of death.'' His body glows and quickly swirls up in this darkness, wrapping around him like a cocoon-like typhoon of intense, frozen-like energy.
Yugi braces himself, panicking as this power is growing larger and stronger.
''His aura turn darker!'' Yang Dragon begins to warn his partner as does Yin Dragon, not liking this one bit. ''Stay focused! This is about to get worse!''
The energy shoots upward as a pillar, quickly vanishing to reveal the new form the Dragon Killer has become.
Once more, Deep Blue has transformed as his clothes have become of his body but in the form of black, blue lining scaled, reptile-like skin armor across his arms and sides of his body as it doesn't cover the center, stomach and back of his body. The same skin armor manifests across his legs, turning his feet to be of lizard's feet as well as his hand being lizard claws. His hair now turns pure black and even longer as the sides of his face and head becomes more reptilian-like with sharp horns, scales and pointer ears. The sclera of his eyes have turned pure black. He lets out a sharp hiss, showing his longer tongue as a pair of demonic-like dragon wings, matching the colors of his scales. They flap, dissolving the energy of his transformation and turning everything weak into frozen ice.
Looking at his free hand and clenches it, Deep Blue proclaims with a colder, darker voice. ''This is the power Aizen provided me; the power to cast my revenge: Segunda Etapa.'' As his eyes blink but like a lizard in a vertical manner.
Yugi glares uneased and terrified, feeling nothing but deep cold so much it reminds him of Evangeline. He gulps, raising his Dragon Blade forward with both hands. The alien looks at him and questions his determination to fight. ''You believe you stood a chance.''
He holds his hand forward and with his power; he manifests and grips upon an energy, dark blue ice bladed greatsword. ''Let me correct that as well.'' As he prepares to swing it for a warm-up.
Yugi glares, holding his ground ready for-
Suddenly the tricolor head gasps in utter shock as Deep Blue has suddenly appeared in front of him and slashes as he is seemingly swinging his weapon for practice. This was a falsehood as the blade nearly cuts through Yugi's chest as well as chop off his arms all while blood erupts from him.
''GGAAAWWW!'' Yugi screams in agony as the energy shrouds instantly heal up and reattach his arms at such a fast pace. However, Deep Blue instantly swings again which Yugi dodges fast only to get slashed across the chest by Deep Blue who's behind him. He yells in agony again, trying to turn around and hits nothing as he's then grabbed by the head by the alien, tossing him through a pillar with such force that he crashes through the other side and into the ground.
The Dragon Knight groans in such pain, bleeding from his head and dragon ears. He… couldn't sense him. In fact, his aura was moving around like it's become a fly.
''HE'S BECOME TOO FAST!'' Yang Dragon yells at him telepathically, warning him with a grim expression. Yugi figures as much. He rockets right up with Yin-Yang Dash, flying at top speed only to get nearly beheaded by Deep Blue's slash if he didn't block in the last second. The impact nearly causes his own Dragon Blade to behead him if Yugi didn't grip his tightest to not let that happen as he crashes through a pillar.
Deep Blue watches where he crashes only to dodge to the left and evades a swing from the Dragon Blade coming in a cross shaped swing. Yugi used Instant Transmission to get behind him only to be shocked by how fast he's become.
He grits his teeth as he charges again, flying even faster but each strike or swing or attack he attempts; Deep Blue, without looking at him, evades like nothing with his much faster speed. Yugi can't believe it until he vanishes, causing him to panic as he didn't look away-
''HOJA CONGELADA TEMIDA!'' Yugi widens, turning around as he clenches his left fist with energy as Deep Blue, from afar, swings his blade and fires another ice energy wave but this is much darker than usual.
''DODGE IT NOW!'' Yin Dragon roars, ordering Yugi in his mind but he doesn't listen. Instead, he thrusts his left fist's Yin-Yang enhanced Dragonaun Geyser, clashing against the wave as it shatters. However, Yugi gasps in horrible pain as that hand has completely gone numb by its sheer cold. Then, he suddenly gets stabbed by the side by the instantly appearing Deep Blue with such force that it sends him flying through a pillar before crashing down into the ground.
Smoke covers the ground as Deep Blue looks down as multiple Dragon Clones fly out, shooting up like torpedoes. He watches and soon vanishes, moving with greater than lightning speed, blitzing through all the clones who were fast but not as fast as him. He soon stops, behind the clones as they're shredded into nothing.
''ULTRA DRAGONAUN RASENGAN…'' Deep Blue turns around as he's stabbed through by the stomach by a Dragonaun Lancer from Yugi, holding back his left arm as that hand is engulfed in a purple, fiery energy sphere spiraling rapidly; thawing his hand as he thrusts and slams his empowered attack across the alien's chest. ''BULLET!'' The empowered Dragonaun Rasengan spins faster and hotter as the sphere flies off his left hand palm, slamming the Arrancar across the sky before the sphere expands and explodes.
Yugi pants heavily, squeezing his left hand as he feels better. He hoped that attack-
He startles, turning at the explosion as it's cut in half and Deep Blue emerges, partly damaged but just very tiny scratches.
''He withstand it!'' Yugi utters, not believing this. He grits his teeth as he holds his blade upward and starts roaring. ''DRAGONAUN…''
''FUTILE!'' Shouting as he's had enough, Deep Blue vanishes with such speed up to him and swings his sword at him just as Yugi blocks it but the alien slams him through multiple pillars.
''You cannot save anyone nor will you defeat anyone.'' He begins proclaiming, smacking Yugi into the ground only to stomp his foot and kicks him through the ground before it launches him upward and hits through the side of a pillar. Yugi grunts in pain, trying to pull himself out of the tower. He looks forward, his vision blurry, to gaze at Deep Blue.
''You will die here along with that woman!'' He proclaims coldly, vowing to end her life. Yugi growls madly as he comes at him only to get consumed by shadows.
Wizard drives at top speed as Mew Ichigo grows even more worried up there. They're so close and yet it's like- No! She can… she must.
Soon the Machinewinger rides through the ceiling and the two arrive outside of Las Noches. The two get off the bike, looking around.
''We're outside again.'' Wizard comments, looking around to look up at the moon. Ichigo, however, is losing it as she yelps in shock. ''THIS IS OUTSIDE NYA?!'' She had no clue this was the real-
Ichigo sees something and widens her eyes in horror.
''Y-Yu…'' She starts uttering out, looking up to see Yugi in a fifth tailed form, badly wounded and bleeding. He's struggled to stand up, using the Dragon Blade to hold his own against an evolved Deep Blue who looks unfazed.
Mew Ichigo breathes heavily as Deep Blue turns to the side, down below, to see her and her expression of dread.
''Good, she's here to see your life slip away.'' Deep Blue proclaims, looking back at Yugi who bleeds heavily. He raises his energy blade and proclaims. ''Goodbye.'' He vanishes.
Yugi, widening his eyes to focus, suddenly blocks a swing from Deep Blue as he twirls the sword away and backs away to counterattack only for Deep Blue to raise his left arm, swirls of electrical energy building up.
''CERO RAYOS!'' He proclaims, firing a blue, electrical energy beam that hits through his chest. Yugi gasps in blood with a face of horror before the blast consumes him and explodes, blasting him off the tower. He groans in agony, the energy shroud vanishing as he falls downward.
"D-DAMN IT…'' He curses out, losing vision as he looks down and sees Ichigo looking at him back with an expression of horror. She's reliving it; reliving how he died and- no! Not again! This time; no, this time!
Without thinking twice, Mew Ichigo runs off at her top speed, and leaps on top of the pillar, running as she transforms into her Evolution form.
''Ichigo!'' Wizard shouts at her, startled as the enemy just vanished. Mew Ichigo ignores him, desperately running with a burst of Ribbon Thunder Armor to reach the falling Yugi and with a big foot stomp; she leaps off the pillar side and jumps towards the fallen Yugi and catches him by her arms. She starts falling but she doesn't care, holding him close as she refuses to let him die again.
''DON'T DIE ON ME, YUGI-KUN NYA!'' Ichigo screams from her lungs as Yugi stirs, feeling her warmth but soon grunts more, seeing Deep Blue above them with his sword ready to slash them both.
''Get… away… Ichigo… kun…'' He tries to utter, his body not responding as all he feels is powerless as the alien swings his blade upon them… and then… darkness.

The sense of hopelessness as Yugi falls unconsciously, unable to fight, as Haruto, Kojan and Taichi must do what they can to fight the even more powerful Deep Blue. Not wanting to burden him and wanting to protect her friends; Mew Ichigo joined the fight but it seems all hope is lost… However…
A gentle voice: Yugi. You always put yourself in harm's way; to protect the smiles that you can, the lives that meant everything to you. You're just like your father and myself as well. So please, do what you can to protect them where we failed. Protect the future we wanted.

Author's Note: I always see Deep Blue as this lizard being due to his eyes and coldness so I did just that; made him be based as a lizard for his Resurrección and much more intense ice powers since why not? Which Lizard? I think a Komodo Dragon would be best. Get it? Haha!
Now it's interesting that Deep Blue hates Ichigo more than Yugi... then again she's the reason Masaya was able to reclaim his body and his plans of revenge fell apart.
AND SEGUNDA ETAPA?! Well… he's Deep Blue! He's Tokyo Mew Mew's final boss; he could sweep every Chimera Anima with a single stroke of his power. So it makes sense he has a Segunda Etapa too. He's that strong. Starrk should learn a thing or two from him.
