Hello to all, this is Chapter 21 of the last part of the third Arc of Volume 6: Climax in Hueco Mundo!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 6: Chapter 21: The Bonds that Shatter Despair!
Previously in DKR:
Yugi, unconscious, is being healed by Mew Ichigo while Taichi with MetalGreymon, Haruto/Wizard and Kojan fought the transcended Alien God and easily disposed of them. Kojan was the last one standing, not believing he was this powerful. Healing Yugi enough, Mew Ichigo refused to let anyone else she loved die; tired of letting anymore of his friends hurt. She tried to fight him, losing badly even when a strange, warm hopeful power tried to awaken but vanished that much faster. Deep Blue had become irritated by her for killing her before and so he fires his Cero to wipe her from the face of the world.
During his unconscious state, Yugi found himself in a different place and it was where he met his mother, Miyu. He was taken back to see her, sobbing of joy to see her smile again. Miyu expressed her joy to see him again and wished he didn't suffer. They had time to talk as time here was longer than the real world. He learned a bit of her, her dog traits are that she is a special Faunus and how she met Takao. Yugi smiled softly, finally having the time he wanted to have with his mother… but that moment was fleeing as Miyu was beginning to fade; what remained of her consciousness would leave. She expressed her joy, her love to see her son and how much she wished to be there for him and Jenny; how much she desired to be with them. She embraced him, happy he found love too and how he should never let it go. Yugi cried, promising he will love Ichigo before Miyu smiled one last time, fading away.
This feeling of love unlocked the seals in Yin-Yang Dragon, freeing them and granting Yugi their true power. Yugi soon awakened and saved Ichigo at the last second. Smiling as he had his parents' blessings and his partner's passions; Yugi wasted no time accessing the power above Burst Limit; Transcend Limit! And his power is the Balance Breaker: Yin-Yang Dragon! With this, Yugi gained a dragon-like armor, surpassing his humanity limits for the sake of protecting not just his friends but the world, his mother, his father; that everyone loves and the world he'll fight with his all. With all this power comes 1 price: He will die on his 9th use. Yugi told Haruto to help the others, sensing the fight over there was too much for them alone and Wizard rode off in a hurry. Roaring passionately as he has 5 minutes before the form ends, Yugi charged and began giving Deep Blue the worst beating in his life. He wasted no time in finishing things with the devastating Dragonaun Burst. With it, Yugi won as he and Ichigo had a short moment before he took her and told Kojan to catch up quickly before they flew off in a hurry.
Can Yugi protect his friends now with this new power?
And now the conclusion... last left off:
Things have become greatly worse as the Hollowified Vasto Lorde Ichigo is assaulting Super Shadow aggressively, howling as it fires mini Ceros at him. Shadow repels and vanishes the crimson beams of energy with Chaos energy, teleporting them away from the area.
Ulquiorra watches from afar, breathing heavily as he tries to regenerate his wounds. Luckily, his organs are still intact but if he took on the blunt of the creature's Cero; he would be dead.
Shadow then flies at Mach speed at the transformed Hollow, getting so close to him only for Shadow to forcefully evade a swing from the berserk Ichigo's blade, coming from out of nowhere though Naruto's scream is heard having been impaled before. Shadow nearly evades, cutting a small piece of his quill only for the Vasto Lorde to slam his left claw across the super powered hedgehog across his face and throw him with such force, sending him crashing into the ground.
''Shadow!'' Alicia yells out in horror as the Vasto Lorde howls, raising its blade and swings downward, firing a massive Getsuga Tensho towards the ground. The others panic, not going to get away until Super Shadow suddenly teleports in between them and the massive black wave coming at them as he shouts, extending his arms up high. ''CHAOS CONTROL!''
Time not only freezes but the Getsuga Tensho is warped away deep in this dimension. Super Shadow then begins extending back his fists and thrusts them over and over, firing a dozen+ Chaos Lances from each of his hands like volleys towards the frozen Hollow, believing this will do it. The spears all froze up due to the time freeze but they have surrounded him in all directions.
Shadow snaps his fingers as he turns around, time resuming as the golden energy lances all hit and explode upon the Vasto Lorde, becoming a massive pillar of an explosion. The others are stunned, other than Kaiba who grunts, as Shadow proclaims calmly. ''That should do it.'' However…
A mighty howl suddenly explodes within the pillar of energy, blasting it in all directions to reveal the Vasto Lorde, still standing, and its yellow eerie pupils shine, confirming it is furious. Super Shadow turns, actually surprised he survived that. He's never met a being that could match up to someone with all 7 Chaos Emeralds.
The Vasto Lorde howls once more before flying at top speed and swings his blade at Super Shadow who counters with an energy coated Chaos Fist on each hand. He dashes back at the Hollow parries the swing and the two clash viciously. The Hollow shrieks with another howl, swinging the blade at all directions towards Shadow as well as swinging insanely fast. Shadow can still keep up but the concern is how long before his Super form runs out. If he really wants to win; he needs to kill him but he's held back by the human that could still be there. And, also…
''Stop it, Kurosaki-kun!'' The Vasto Lorde suddenly stops to Super Shadow and everyone else's surprise as Orihime runs up and stands between the beast and the hedgehog. She looks terrible, a look of dread and watery eyes; blaming her own powerlessness and now this. All she wanted; all she really wanted was him back… but not like this!
''Please stop! I'm begging you!'' She pleads to the Vasto Lorde, hoping maybe her voice will bring Ichigo back. ''No more, Kurosaki-kun! I… I can't-''
''Must… protect…'' Orihime pauses as her eyes widen, the Vasto Lorde has begun speaking and sounds like Ichigo if not like a recording. ''I… must… protect… her.''
She's overwhelmed to hear his voice but Shadow teleports in between them, arguing with that logic. ''Protecting her is not the same as killing everyone else! Listen to-'' Immediately, the Vasto Lorde howls, thrusting his blade at him but Shadow catches it with both hands and teleports the two instantly above the sky. Away from everyone else, Super Shadow's body emits a red sparkling aura around his body as his eyes glow.
''CHAOS BLAST!'' Shadow screams from the bottom of his lungs, releasing a destructive outward red explosion across his whole body, surrounding 50 inches across that sky. The Vasto Lorde howls, consumed in the explosion.
Everyone watches, thinking that Shadow actually did it. Sonic smirks as the sphere of the Chaos Blast explosion fades away and everyone soon panics in horror that Super Shadow is grappling against the Vasto Lorde, still conscious and howling.
''You just don't-'' Super Shadow starts complaining until the Vasto Lorde knee kicks him into the air and as Shadow tries to regain control; he's instantly slash and smack far across the sky, miles away before crashing into the ground by Vasto Lorde, hissing monstrously.
''Shadow!'' Sonic yells, trying to run towards his direction until he's kicked by the Vasto Lorde, smacking him into a broken pillar wall. He then raises his blade, preparing to fire a Getsuga to kill him until an earth-like spear shoots out and hits him but simply shatters across his back without being able to penetrate through him.
''Hey!'' The Hollow stops itself as it was Ed who transmuted that spear and the large cannon next him, firing a red energy plasma shot using Blast Alchemy, hitting him but barely even doing any damage to him.
''Try picking someone more of your size, skeleton face!'' Ed yells at him with a fist waving at him. The Vasto Lorde doesn't turn, simply gazing towards his direction as its mouth grits. It soon fully turns and howls, surrounding its body in an intense red aura as it takes aim with its horn and charges up a sphere of destructive power.
Edward staggers as does the others with Danny uttering out at his logic. ''You had to insult him huh?!'' Though, he might have done the same and used the skeleton face name too.
Grunting, Super Shadow gets up from the far distances he was smacked towards and could see the red horizon of energy building up coming from that direction. This couldn't be worse.
Instantly, Vasto Lorde charges up its Cero fully and fires it at full force upon them; this time being even larger and massive in size and shape. Everyone is unable to do anything, even Sonic who's badly hurt to save everyone. Biting his lips as this is bad, Super Shadow teleports in between the others and massive red energy blast, standing his ground and extending his arms forward.
''CHAOS…'' Super Shadow begins uttering out, focusing all of his power as his body shines. ''CONTROL!'' The Cero suddenly vanishes and teleports up above them, blasting upward into space. Super Shadow breathes heavily, going to need a Plan B to-
Suddenly, he feels off as his limit with the Chaos Emeralds will leave his body.
''No…'' Super Shadow utters, dropping on one knee as his body stops glowing and he reverts to base form. He's been completely drained and is trying to contain the Chaos Emerald in his body. ''No good…'' He can't risk the emeralds flying and landing in this place.
Having no one to oppose him now, the Vasto Lorde lets out a howl as he aims its horns at the group, charging up another Cero. Shadow glares madly, not sure how he'll be able to protect the others from this next attack. Even Ed doesn't have a clue while the others are still badly wounded.
''STOP, KUROSAKI-KUN!'' Orihime begs loudly for him to not do it but the Hollow doesn't listen, preparing to-
A single shot hits its face and sparks fly out of the Vasto Lorde. It hisses, turning his head as driving towards him is Wizard, riding on his Machinewinger.
''Haruto!'' Judai yells out smiling at this guy's insane arrival. Wizard stops, still mounted on his bike as he faces the Vasto Lorde, hissing in deep breaths.
''…'' His expression hidden by his rider mask, Haruto is just as horrified as the others were with this appearance. He doesn't need to know who this is by the black blade, the torn-up uniform and the orange hair. He also can tell without asking that he resembles a Phantom when clearly he's not and yet can feel his despair.
''… Sorry for coming late.'' Wizard apologizes to the others, but also to Ichigo who's become this monster. He squeezes the grip of the handle of his bike, questioning the others as a heads up. ''You guys fine if I handle this?''
Shadow quivers as he stands up, uttering out annoyed. ''You're a magician of hope, right? Then save that moron.''
''… Planning to.'' Wizard proclaims, ramming the handle as the bike's engine erupts as he drives fast at the Vasto Lorde who stands there and Wizard drives past him.
''Come and face me, monster!'' Wizard taunts him, driving top speed away from the group. The Vasto Lorde turns and immediately lets out a howl, flying at him as he vanishes in and out. Wizard drives faster, firing from his WizarSwordGun from his back as the bullets track down the Vasto Lorde and connect but only causing sparks to fly out but not slowing him down.
The Hollow howls, swinging its blade and fires a Getsuga Tensho that instantly swallows up the rider and bike. The others panic as the wave glows and explodes like a typhoon before fading away. They still watch as the Machinewinger flies out of the dissolved typhoon, crashing and badly damaged but Wizard isn't nowhere to be seen.
''FLAME DRAGON!'' The Wizardriver chants as the Vasto Lorde is instantly slashed across the back by the teleporting Wizard in his Flame Dragon form, wielding two of his swords. However, the slashes did nothing as the Vasto Lorde turns around instantly and jabs its arm across Wizard's chest and sends him crashing into the ground.
The others are shocked by this as Wizard gasps in pain, still conscious, as this monster is much stronger than any Phantom he's fought but even more frightening. In fact, how can he save what remains in Kurosaki if this-
Suddenly, an idea pops in his mind as the rider gets up and looks up to see the Vasto Lorde looking down at him. That idea might work but he'll still need to damage him and leave him still.
''Guess it's worth-'' Wizard begins to proclaim only to suddenly get slash across the chest by the Vasto Lorde, appearing out of thin air in front of him and with one swing of his blade causes major sparks of damage across Wizard's body.
''AAAWWW!'' The rider screams as he's sent through a pillar and comes out from the other end. Grunting, Wizard gets up as sparks still fly out across his suit. He can still feel the blow, uttering out. ''Okay, that was cruel even for-'' His words are cut off as the Vasto Lorde instantly appears above him and tries to thrust its blade onto him until Wizard swipes his left hand and forms a heated barrier to protect him. He then switches to the Connect Ring, summoning the Drago Timer and attaches it to his left hand, twirling the timer.
''DRAGO TIME! START UP!'' The device announces as the Vasto Lorde swings beastly upon the barrier, over and over, until it cracks through and he tries to attack him until its attack by the swirl energies of water, wind and earth, bashing the monster away.
''WATER DRAGON! HURRICANE DRAGON! LAND DRAGON!'' The Drago Timer announces as the energies take on the form of the 3 other Dragon forms as all four Wizards glow. ''DRAGON FORMATION!'' They all gain their own piece of Wizardragon, unleashing their elemental finishers upon the Vasto Lorde but it withstands the combined effort. It then howls, firing a quick Cero at the attacks, actually penetrating through their attacks and they dodge out of the way but just barely.
The four Wizards try to charge forward but the Vasto Lorde swings its blade multiple times, generating multiple Getsuga waves that they dodge around until the last one hits underneath them. The explosion sends all four backwards as the Vasto Lorde vanishes in and out, slashing each Wizard until they all crash onto the ground hard.
Shadow watches, growling as he can't stand around and do nothing. Naruto and the others feel the same, needing to-
''It's futile.'' The group becomes alarmed as Ulquiorra appears before them, almost fully healed. His eyes stare upon Orihime, reminding her of her so-called hero. ''Ichigo Kurosaki is dead and what remains is that beast, a Hollow only seeking a challenge and hate to kill.''
The Vasto Lorde howls viciously, its power growing to the point that only killing him will end this.
''There is nothing to save, nothing but despair for all of us.'' The Espada announces firmly, confirming they will all die and it will be Aizen-sama to fix this.
''… You're absolutely wrong.'' Ulquiorra turns his head towards Wizard who gets up, gasping heavily as do his copies. They stare down at the Vasto Lorde who starts laughing and just growls viciously at them.
Even if this is all that remains of his comrade; Haruto doesn't think so. He's seen the boy and how much he values his friends and loved ones. Someone like that wouldn't submit himself to despair and he won't give up on him.
''No one is truly lost when they have light in them; something that illumines the dark and casts a ray of hope.'' Wizard proclaims as he walks forward with the other forms right behind him. ''Someone like him who would die for his friends. He still exists in there! That's what I'm betting on! If he can risk his life for his friends and love ones, then I'll risk it all to bring him back!''
The Vasto Lorde just howls as the magician wishes that he still had Infinity Style but guess he'll resort it all on his last trump card; his-
''Heh no, Haruto.'' Wizard startles as he can heal the cackle of Wizardragon in his mind. ''Our double-edge hope. Don't screw up.''
Silent at first, Wizard chuckles as he raises and twirls the timer of the Drago Timer a full 360° degrees as he declares. ''I don't plan to. Now lend me your strength, dragon!'' The Drago Timer begins glowing as each Wizard forms.
''FINAL TIME: ALL DRAGON, PLEASE!'' The Drago Timer announces as Wizard Flame Dragon, along with each of the other Dragon forms, lift themselves up with their magical circles on their back in a formation: Flame Dragon on top, Hurricane Dragon on the bottom, Water Dragon on the right and Land Dragon on the left. Then the three other forms transform into their respective elemental forms in the form of Wizardragon as they all fly in circles around the main Wizard before they each enter into him.
Wizard's body glows as he gains Wizardragon's wings, tail and claw armor pieces into his own as the chest head emerges again and he now soars up in the sky with great speed, floating up there as a radiance of energy shines across him.
''Woah…'' Ryan utters out astonished just as Ruby begins to wake up, grunting as she sees the figure up high and blushes with a weakened smile. ''A-awesome…''
Ulquiorra is silent with widened eyes, not expecting this form either. How can humans still be able to surprise him?
''That is our final Hope!'' Wizard declares, looking down at the Hollow. Vasto Lorde howls destructively as he comes charging at him as does Wizard, clashing blade to claws. The impact creates a force of energy, causing the area to shake and be pressured by their clashing might.
Everyone braces themselves while Ulquiorra watches in disbelief. ''This is…'' He starts uttering, watching as Wizard pushes back the Vasto Lorde with its superior strength as its dragon chest breathes intense flames from its mouth. It blasts and burns the Hollow away, badly scourging its left arm, but temporarily as it lets out a shrieking howl that blows it away only to get smack by Wizard's dragon tail that traps him in a cyclone of water before it's frozen.
However, the frozen Vasto Lorde's eyes shine as he breaks through only to get blasted by the flapping wings of Wizard as well as lightning, zapping him. He then uses gravity powers with his extending claws, twisting the Vasto Lorde's limbs to stop it from moving but the beast just breaks through it all; its Spiritual Energy and Pressure shaking the world.
''Don't let it adapt!'' Shadow warns the rider, knowing full well this thing may be a mindless, fighting beast but for it to get better in battle is more dangerous.
Wizards nods as the Vasto Lorde fires a Cero at full blast at him but the rider spins around rapidly as swirls of fire, water, wind and earth wraps around him and his extending right claw; resembling a drill tornado coming right at the monster. He thrusts his drilling magical attack through the red crimson blast before clawing his claw through him and twirls around and then tosses him even higher in the sky.
''Finale!'' Wizard proclaims as a large magical circle manifests underneath his feet as does 4 other colors one, based on his style colors form around him too. Tapping his right foot on the one underneath him, Wizard soon soars up high at full speed as the other magical circles fly up as well as the larger one. The other four glow and become energy dragons as Wizard soars past the Vasto Lorde before making a U-turn by somersaulting and thrusts downward his right kick forward. The Vasto Lorde howls, about to attack until the energy dragons hit across his chest, stunning him long enough for Wizard to Rider Kick him across the chest. The large magical circle overlaps the enemy before it shines and releases a destructive explosion.
Everyone watches in desperation as the Vasto Lorde crashes down on the large crater as Wizard flies down, chasing after him. Panicking, Orihime begins running to that direction as they crash near them.
The Vasto Lorde lays there, non-reacted with his blade next to it, before it lets out a shriek as Wizard stabs his left claws into his chest and the other across his right arm, pinning him. He pulls out his hands off the gauntlet claws and quickly slides on an Engage Wizard Ring on his finger.
It's a gamble if it works. And if not; they're all screwed.
''It's all or nothing…'' Wizard proclaims, sliding a ring on the Vasto Lorde's pinned right hand and swipes his right hand over his belt after flipping it
''ENGAGE, PLEASE!'' The Wizardriver announces as Wizard suddenly vanishes and travels downward through a bright tunnel, diving downward before he finds himself to his destination.
What surprises the magician is that he's floating in an underwater world as down below resembles Karakura Town but he can also see broken down skyscrapers, still crumbling away.
''Is this… his Underworld?'' Wizard questions, never been in a place so dreaded. An Underworld should be the most special place to someone; the most important memory that gives someone unspeakable hope but this world is already being torn apart but it's not by a Phantom, is the world itself.
The Rider then pauses his thoughts, turning and sees a strange man with a pair of sharp ended sunglasses and a long, torn-up coat. He looks at him as he looks back calmly.
''You don't seem surprised I'm here. You must be his sword's spirit?'' Haruto asks him calmly.
''You could say-'' The man begins to say but a bit impatient right now, Wizard swaps a new Wizard Ring over his belt. ''SCAN, PLEASE!'' The Wizardriver announces as he lifts that same left arm towards the man. Flashes glow within the visor of his helmet as Haruto is grimly taken back by what he just saw.
''… What the hell are you?'' He immediately questions him and this spirit doesn't express or anything, having a feeling his powers would figure out what he is.
''Just know I'm on Ichigo's side. All I wish is to protect him.'' The man affirms to him as Wizard stares at him silently. Then he realizes if he's not his ''Zanpakuto'', then who-
''Oi, human.'' Wizard startles, turning and staggers heavily as it's the Vasto Lorde but his colors are black and white. He lifts up his face or rather the mask as it reveals Ichigo but his colors are white skin, white hair and black eyes with yellow pupils.
''I'm surprised you were able to fight Ichigo with my power and me in charge.'' He proclaims to the rider's shock. So he was fighting him? But he's acting malicious but in control, not a mindless beast. Wizard scans this human-like Hollow and he's taken back by what the results told him.
Wizard looks at him and questions him with a startled voice. ''… What are you, exactly?''
The Hollow smirks as he proclaims. ''All I care about is helping Ichigo. It's how he uses me and the mindset to wield my power. Otherwise, well, you know the result.''
The rider figures as much because if he was facing this one; he would talk and likely mock him.
''Do you know the difference between a king and his horse? It's-'' Hollow Ichigo begins to ask the hero about the difference between who leads but Haruto quickly responds. ''Form, ability, power… and instinct, right?''
The Hollow looks at him and cracks a smirk, actually surprised. Wizard knows that too well, thinking of Wizardragon, as he says. ''My horse wanted to be king but I decided long ago I would become the King because I want to protect others, protect their hopes and their futures.'' He looks at his rider Wizard ring and clenches his fist as he proclaims strongly. ''If I must become a monster to wield the horse, so be it. If I must risk my own hope that could become despair, then it's my double-edge sword. That is my hope.''
''… Hehe… I like you.'' Hollow Ichigo snickers, always impressed by those not afraid of their power unlike his ''master''. He then eyes the other ''Zangetsu'' and asks him cocky-like. ''You agree, don't you?!'' The cloak Zangetsu eyes him and nods.
''Can you reverse what happened to him?'' Wizard asks them, not having much time left in this world with his mana about to deplete. Hollow Ichigo turns towards him and smirks, raising his left hand and lifts 3 fingers up.
''3 ways.'' He begins to inform him of how to save his stupid king. ''Ichigo must control my power, Ichigo dies…'' He then points at the mask on his head, mainly the horn. ''Or you destroy the mask by any means, even cutting or blasting off the horn.''
The rider looks at him and even though his grin is malicious and he looks like an inverted, evil Ichigo Kurosaki; he wasn't lying.
''… Thank you.'' Wizard proclaims as he prepares to leave until Hollow Ichigo asks. ''Do us a favor: Don't tell what you learn about us to Ichigo.''
''He is not ready. Ichigo is our responsibility to protect him.'' The other Zangetsu speaks up as the Hollow scoffs in agreement. ''And he's an idiot who believes logic and honorable victory is the only path.''
Wizard looks at them and nods, promising them that he won't tell him, yet.
''Oh.'' Hollow Ichigo then begins to utter, almost forgetting 1 thing. ''And tell my King to master my powers because next time…'' His yellow pupils glow menacingly. ''There won't be a second miracle.''
''…'' Haruto does not respond as a portal manifests and he leaps through it.
Almost in the blink of an eye, Wizard returns back to the real world. He quickly reaches and manifests a WizarSwordGun in its gun form and aims it down at the Vasto Lorde who's trying to break free his arm of the dragon gauntlet.
Orihime runs towards them just as she sees the rider aim his gun at the monster that was once Ichigo and her eyes widened, her heart beating loudly that he's- HE'S-
''N-NO!'' She screams from the bottom of her lungs, trying to stop him but it was too late. Wizard fires but he shoots not the face of the monster but at the left horn of the Vasto Lorde, destroying it. Soon, the mask-like face cracks instantly and shatters, revealing a drifted, dazed Ichigo.
This shocks Orihime who arrives and stops right behind Wizard, staring speechlessly as his body gently falls onto the ground.
''K-Kurosaki-kun?'' She utters out, thinking that he is actually-
Suddenly swirls of energy erupt across the hole in Kurosaki's chest, blasting upward before said energy fades away and reveals the hole that was once there is sealed and his chest restored. Not only that but Ichigo's eyes are given new life as his appearance has returned to normal but his Shinigami robes are still destroyed.
The others view this and they are all just as confused as what even happened.
''W-what just…'' Ichigo begins to utter, his eyes still a bit blurry as he can barely remember much but getting blasted through the chest by Ulquiorra and-
''K-Kurosaki… kun?'' Ichigo startles, looking up and sees Orihime, beginning to cry but this time of joy while Uryu smiles softly, relief too. Wizard looks at them and sighs, resting his gun on his shoulder.
''Impossible, he lives again?'' Wizard turns as Orihime turns in panic to see Ulquiorra, once more standing there to oppose them. The others actually forget he was still around, even Shadow who tries to lift himself to fight him but his body is still hurting.
Ulquiorra stares at Ichigo who begins to regain focus of his surroundings but his view of him is blocked by Wizard, moving in front to protect him and Orihime.
''You were wrong…'' The rider tells him off about his statement that their friend was lost. He knows better than anyone that no one is lost as long as they carry hope in their hearts and souls. ''To assume I speak pretty words. Like I said…'' He twirls his gun to sword form and takes on a calm, fighting pose. ''I am the Wizard of Hope. I will never give up. Just like he never gave up, that hope that is within our hearts will never fade away!''
Ulquiorra narrows his eyes of annoyance. Heart? Again with that term.
Wizard slides on the Kick Strike Wizard Ring, proclaiming. ''And now it's time to end this nightmare.'' He soon swipes that hand over his belt as it glows and-
''ERROR!'' Wizard stumbles back, looking down at his driver's announcement. The rider seemingly freezes up before he cracks a small chuckle. ''… Heh, damn it.'' Wizard suddenly kneels down as his body glows and reverts back to Haruto, breathing heavily as he drops his WizarSwordGun; his body in intense pain. He is all out of Mana; just his damn luck.
''Haruto!'' Alicia yells out in horror, realizing what happened. Judai glares, actually scared. None of them have the energy or even the power to even try to oppose the Espada. Naruto is still too wounded, Danny is hurt, Alicia is out of stamina as she's in her human form, Sonic is still badly hurt and so is Shadow. They only have Kaiba and Ed and they can't do much.
Ulquiorra looks down at the weakened human and utters out. ''So hope has its limit too. As expected.'' He walks up as Orihime quickly puts up a barrier but Ulquiorra walks through it, dissolving by his sheer power.
''Now…'' He begins to utter out, manifesting his green energy lance as he raises it over Haruto who glares up at him, refusing to submit to him.
''S-STOP IT, ULQUIORRA!'' Kurosaki yells out, trying to get up as he raises Tensa Zangetsu. ''I won't let you-''
''You die second.'' The Espada simply utters, going to put an end to a human who believes in nonsense as hope. ''Vanish.''
Everyone gasps as they all react way too slow as Ulquiorra swings his weapon at the kneeling untransformed rider, about to cut him down with his energy spear. Everything seems to go slow, except Ulquiorra who's about to end-
Ulquiorra immediately widens his eyes as he moves his hand that had his Lanza del Relampago and it was gone. No, not gone; something snatched-
The Espada soon notices the expressions of shock from Ichigo, Orihime and Haruto who's oddly smiling weakly. He soon widens his eyes, turning around and standing there is what he can described as a dragon armored being, squeezing on his energy javelin before it shatters into nothing.
''What is this?'' Ulquiorra begins to question, studying this white-black dragon humanoid entity and he can't recognize it. It's not just that but this gravity around him; one that he barely notices and feels more tremendous than the form Ichigo Kurosaki was in. ''What is this pressure?''
''I just made it…'' Alarming the Espada, the armor entity speaks with a familiar voice as he lifts his head and its red piercing eyes glow. ''Sorry to disappoint you, Ulquiorra-kun, but I'll be your opponent.''
The others are taken back, all but Haruto who's rather amazed he took this fast to show up. But this form, it's rather cool.
''That voice… It can't be-'' Ulquiorra begins to say mentally only to be unable to finish his words as the armored draconic individual slams his claw across his face so fast and instantly that not even Ulquiorra could react before he's launched through a pillar.
The others are left speechless as Kaiba gazes and slowly scoffs, realizing now who that was.
''W-who the hell is-'' Ed tries to question but then the armor dragon mecha man just vanishes with insane speed. Shadow turns up at the pillar as it explodes, seeing him punching Ulquiorra into the sky. He watches as Ulquiorra manifests his energy spears in each hand to slash him down but the armored being repels with the Dragon Blade once, shattering the energy spears in that one swing. Shadow is astonished before he soon starts to assume who it is; letting out a small cackle. This confuses the others as he simply says. ''Never ceases to surprise me. No doubt about-''
''EVERYONE NYA!'' The group all become surprised, turning as running towards them is Ichigo, breathing heavily as she squeezes on her Mew Pendant Necklace and transforms into Mew Ichigo.
''COUSIN ICHIGO-CHAN!'' Sailor Moon cries out joyfully, trying to tackle her with a hug but the cat girl easily evades her to her shock as she grins. ''I have to heal the others first, Cousin Usagi-chan Nya!'' Winking, Mew Ichigo summons her Strawberry Bell and spins it over her right fingertip before it spirals upward and releases pink, bubbly energy. These bubbles splash at the group, beginning to heal them, even Naruto's stomach wound.
''R-RIGHT! Hahaha!'' The Sailor Guardian laughs awkwardly, admitting the others are badly hurt.
''Nice… timing.'' Sonic utters at the cat girl with a thumbs up. Ed then asks her. ''Glad to see you too Momomiya but you came here with that guy?!''
Mew Ichigo blinks confused, surprised the others haven't noticed that it's-
''Are you all stupid?'' Everyone else panics as arriving is a flying, skeleton Susanoo before it dissolves to reveal it is Kojan as the others jump off the vanishing avatar, crashing onto new sand.
''It's obvious who it is.'' He tells them, rather disappointed they can't tell.
Ulquiorra sees them arriving and glares, going to have to deal with them first. He forms another green lance and throws it towards them only for the dragon armored knight to intercept and yells out, holding his right arm forward and reveals he is wielding the Dragon Blade. ''DRAGONAUN HOLY VANISH!'' The gem of that hand releases a powerful holy light wave, hitting the throne lancer. The Lanza del Relampago vanishes to his dismay as if the attack cease to exist.
This shocks Ulquiorra as he raises his left hand, raising both the index and middle finger and charges up his black Cero.
''CERO OSCURAS!'' He shouts, firing it at full force but the armored dragon begins to growl as his mouth piece shatters and reveals its sharp dragon mouth.
''DRAGONAUN…'' He roars powerfully as the orbs across its body glows intensely. ''DESTROY GIGA RAYS!'' The orbs fire beams of crimson red energy that zig-zag and bend their way towards the massive wave of black energy and pierces through it. Ulquiorra widens his eyes as his attack is shredded instantly and he's forced to dodge around the beams which bend on their own and act like homing missiles at the Espada, hitting him directly and explodes.
''HOLY CRAP!'' Naruto yells in shock, pretty sure that attack did more damage than his Rasenshuriken did.
''… He said Dragonaun twice, right?'' Ryan suddenly points out, knowing from his understanding that a Dragon Knight is the only one who uses that phrase for an attack.
Mew Ichigo just looks up, smiling; knowing Yugi will have to explain a lot to the others.
Shooting out from the smoke, Ulquiorra breathes as he's still regenerating the damage he took. How did he-
He barely has a moment to think as the armored dragon appears above him and stomps his foot across his head and dunks him downward. Ulquiorra tries to regain control, creating another green lance as he throws it at him but he charges downward, extending back his left fist, coated in dark energy.
''DRAGONAUN VOID KNUCKLE!'' He roars, thrusting his fist forward and punches through the lance with such force; he tears through it, splitting it up into two as both halves explode around him. Ulquiorra is shocked as he uses Sonido to evade him.
''It's over!'' He roars as his dragon head shoulders open up their mouths, revealing their cannons as they start charging up swirls of red energy with white and black electricity flying across it. He looks up to see the Espada as he begins charging up. ''DRAGONAUN-''
But before he can fully charge, the dragon armor cracks and dissolves into black and white energy, revealing to be Yugi who blinks awkwardly. He looks at himself, still in his Dragon Blade form as his dragon wings and tail revert back to what they were before the form, panicking even more awkwardly.
''Eh? EH!'' Everyone else also had the same panicking shock, even Judai who didn't recognize that it was him. ''WA! IT WAS YUGI-SAN!'' Even Yubel is baffled by this, meaning that form concealed Yugi's regular energy or rather it was too hard to sense it correctly. Mew Ichigo sweat drops as does Kojan, not expecting that form to have a time limit.
Is this the end if Yugi doesn't have his final form now?
Commercial Break:
Everyone watches unease as the armored knight guy was actually Yugi and he's just as shocked as all of them.
''YOU SAID I HAD 1 MINUTE LEFT?!'' Yugi yells mentally at Yin-Yang Dragon who both laugh awkwardly.
''Haha… Scratch that, 4 and a half minutes.'' Yin Dragon corrects his previous statement about 5 minutes as does Yang Dragon, sweat dropping nervously. ''You kinda over extended with that last attack.''
Yugi begins to sweat drop, admitting he was using up his attacks in one go. Atem sighs, crossing his arms in spirit form as he tells him. ''Worry about that later, partner.''
The tricolor head blinks as he turns and startles as Ulquiorra descends to his position, taken back to think that was him; the human he called weak and yet he nearly defeated him, worse than the Vasto Lorde.
''This is not possible. You?'' He questions in disbelief which only causes Yugi to laugh nervously, waving at him. ''Um haha, hi!'' He coughs, needing to be more serious as he tells the Espada calmly. ''Look, I would love to fight you but Ichigo-kun and my friends are safe so we're leaving.''
Ulquiorra looks at him, not even paying attention to his plea as he recalled that Aizen informed him the last of the "Dragon Killer" Arrancar would deal with the Dragon Knight. At the time, he didn't care. He knew the human was weak and Aizen's praise for him could be for his abilities. But this, this changes everything.
''So, he lost to him?'' The 4th Espada questions mentally, thinking that the masked Dragon Killer that Aizen praised would be stronger than all of the Espada put together. Ulquiorra didn't buy it but Aizen's word is divine. So for him to lose to this child; it's utterly impossible.
''I'll ask you again, Ulquiorra-kun.'' Hearing his voice, Ulquiorra looks at Yugi who's become firm as he tells him. ''I have no reason to fight you. Me and my friends are leaving here, peacefully.''
Such arrogance; Ulquiorra thought that this child could talk down to him as if he was his master or someone above him. Besides, it wouldn't matter as he has a mission for his lord to fulfill.
''… Aizen-sama left me to protect Las Noches. He placed his trust onto my hands.'' Ulquiorra finally responds to the last orders his master left on him. ''I will not allow some mere human to do as he pleases.''
Yugi glares as he disagrees with him. ''Aizen-kun has been using you guys for his own goals. Do you really think he cares what happens to any of you?''
''Our lives are for Aizen-sama's sake. If we must become pawns and die for him, so be it.'' The Espada replies accordingly, knowing he is nothing but a servant to the man who gave them purpose.
That annoys Yugi who protests such meaning. ''That's not loyalty; that's slavery. The same he's been doing to many, toying with all of you and a future you guys can do in peace!''
''Tell that to the Shinigami.'' Ulquiorra protests only for Yugi to declare. ''Then I would protect you guys too! If you don't care about humans or killing anyone, then you guys deserve to live!''
This shocks Ulquiorra as Yugi smiles, proclaiming kindly. ''You all have your own life, your own decisions to make, rather than to follow a man who will discard you. Like for me; I want to protect what's most precious to me and it's Ichigo-kun and all of our friends. The future we want!''
He looks down at his Dragon Sword, seeing his reflection before he declares passionately. ''Because in my heart; we're all connected. Our hopes, our dreams, our passions; that's why I can't lose for their sake! And why I don't want this pointless war to continue because you guys also deserve to have a future too!''
Mew Ichigo hears that and smiles; not surprised by Yugi's decision that he doesn't want to make the Arrancar as enemies but as friends. That's like him. Kojan is silent, not bothering to argue.
''… Again, the heart.'' Yugi looks puzzled as Ulquiorra scowled in annoyance, as if not paying attention to what Yugi also said. Again and again; they talk about an organ that should die and cease to exist. What's so special about it?
''What makes you, humans, capable of understanding each other!'' The Espada questions him harshly, showing restraint but he is enraged. ''In this world; we have nothing but a void. What is wrong with having nothing? Even on the day I was born, I had nothing!''
Yugi frowns silently because of his nihilism. Does he truly see nothing but darkness?
''I have already shown them what true despair is…'' Ulquiorra proclaims, referring to the others who failed to oppose him as he gazes darkly towards him. ''And I intend to do the same with you. And then… you will all drift into nothingness.''
Kurosaki grunts, needing to fight him but he's still stiff.
''…'' The Dragon Knight looks at him silently before he breathes and utters out. ''Then I intend to show you…'' As he raises his left hand forward and lifts up all 5 fingers. ''What the heart is! STAGE 5!''
Ulquiorra glares, preparing for whatever-
''…'' An awkward silence envelops the environment as Yugi makes an awkward face, pushing his hand forward as if trying to make something happen but nothing. He sweat drops as he tries to ask for a moment. ''Can you give me like-''
Yugi's senses go crazy as he bends backwards in midair to dodge Ulquiorra's claws from smacking or grabbing him. This alarms the Espada as Yugi somersaults as his dragon tail slaps him upward. Yugi rearranges himself, looking up as the Espada stops himself and glares down, more than annoyed to have been slapped by another's tail.
''Of course he won't give me a timeout.'' The Dragon Knight tells himself, just as irritated. He then narrows his eyes to the spirit head forms of Yin-Yang Dragon, asking them telepathically. ''Should I want to ask because I kinda need the extra power to fight him in his Segunda Etapa form!''
Yin Dragon snarls as he explains this. ''You don't need those tail forms anymore. That was a false boost of our real power.''
''To insult the Tailed Beasts?'' Yugi asks, blinking as Yang Dragon smiles, replying honestly but politely. ''In a way, yes, Yugi-san. Now that our link with you is fully synchronized, you can access our true Yin-Yang Dragon Mode.''
He is startled that there's a stronger form to the one he normally accessed Yin-Yang Dragon form. Still, if it helps; he'll use it with no regrets.
''Then lend me your strength!'' He asks for it as the two nod.
Ulquiorra dashes at the seemingly distracted Dragon Sword, forming an energy spear to slash him down until his spear collides against the Dragon Blade. And in that moment, Yugi's body erupts with a fiery red aura, almost gentle yet mighty.
''What?'' The Espada utters out as Yugi has turned around in that single second and proceeds to push him back. Ulquiorra is shocked by that as is Kojan, dismayed that Yugi still has the strength to match the enemy.
Ulquiorra glares as he vanishes as Yugi twirls and swings his blade, nearly slashing the Espada that suddenly appears if not for Ulquiorra to catch the blade with his claw but it cuts through it. Blood spills out of it to the Espada's surprise.
''This is based Yin-Yang Dragon mode but the power input…'' Kojan begins to question mentally, shocked, seeing that nothing extreme has changed about him; he knows the energy he's gained is massively more than before. ''How is it so much larger than even the tail forms?!''
Even Yugi is taken back, distancing himself quickly as he eyes his Dragon Blade. It wasn't just the blade that cut him; it was the strength of Yin-Yang Dragon fueling him. But unlike the other times he's used their power that felt foreign; this time it feels more like this is his energy.
He slowly smiles, thanking the two-headed dragon mentally before he stares at Ulquiorra.
''You know, even with your second form; it won't do much.'' Yugi starts taunting the Espada who looks at him irritated. ''You assume that-'' Ulquiorra soon pauses, once more taken back that he knows that he's already in his second form?
Yugi smiles, cocky-like, as he reveals to him. ''Surprised huh? Yea, Deep Blue-kun had his own Segunda Etapa form and I beat it.''
Ulquiorra glares, not believing this. Is that why Aizen thought that Dragon Killer was stronger than all of the Espada?
''But you know, I'm already drained and I need to save up as much power to stop Aizen-kun. So…'' Yugi begins to say, needing all of his remaining strength to even have a chance against Aizen and proceeds to raise his blade forward, one-handed. ''I'm going to end this, here and now!''
He soon charges in, flying as Ulquiorra does the same, forming two energy spears before they swing and their weapons clash. Sparks of lightning fly between them as they pull back and engage. Yugi swings expertly, going left to right, right to left; while Ulquiorra responds back. He moves faster as does Yugi, his body surrounding in burning, red fiery aura as their swings are like blurs to everyone else, except Kojan who can keep up with them.
Ulquiorra flies away as he throws them like boomerangs only for Yugi to create hundreds of afterimages surrounding him. The Espada is forced to fire a Cero Oscuras and twirls as he does; consuming the area in a 360° rotation. It devours all the afterimages as the Dragon Blade flies past the Espada up high from below and as he looks down; he's grabbed and tossed upward by Yugi's dragon tail as he flies past him too, grabbing and gripping on his Dragon Blade as the stunned Ulquiorra is thrown right to him.
''DRAGONAUN OMNISLASH!'' Yugi roars, moving in and swings 9 consecutive strikes in a row before slashing the Espada upward as he leaps above him and shouts, performing a somersault while the Dragon Blade glows. ''DRAGONAUN AETHER!'' He slashes down with a downward, spinning slash that slams Ulquiorra and crashes onto the ground as a sand explosion. Everyone braces themselves, protected by Ichigo's much larger barrier.
Ulquiorra emerges from the debris of sand, having taken the blunt force of the slash and lands on his feet to-
His train of thought is immediately interrupted as he widens his eyes to see Yugi, suddenly teleporting in front of him wielding his blade to the side as its blade is engulfed in purple, fiery energy and reshapes as an energy-shaped great sword.
''DRAGONAUN SABER!'' Yugi roars, swinging his blade towards him in an upward slash motion as the energy surrounding his blade engulfs his enemy, exploding as a pillar of raging purple flames.
Once more, everyone braces as Mew Ichigo's barrier holds up protecting them. Yugi pulls back, breathing as he watches as the pillar of flames from his attack dissolves and the Espada still stands but badly burned across his body, seemingly not moving. The Dragon Knight watches closely and he soon is surprised as Ulquiorra begins regenerating the wounds but gasps out blood from his mouth. He's taken much damage from that form Kurosaki had used.
''Foolish human.'' Ulquiorra tries to proclaim his superiority over the human, regaining movement but his body will likely decay but he doesn't care. His life has no purpose, no meaning. No, all life has no purpose but the end.
''All your kind, all those below me have limits. Even I do. None can ever surpass that; the cruelty of existence, of the end.'' He resumes saying, manifesting another green energy lance as his eyes glow. ''You shall see what true despair is.''
Kurosaki groans looking down, not sure what hope they have against him. It all feels so hopeless. Can they… even win?

''… I was always weak before I had these powers. Even as a child, I was always weak.'' Ulquiorra stops in his tracks by what Yugi begins to say, recalling his life before the Dragon Sword accepted him. A somewhat normal life. He was a weak kid but it changed because of Atem and the wish he made when he constructed the Millennium Puzzle; the friends he's gained and this desire to protect them… for in a way, they were his family.
''And that's why I wanted friends who always had my back, who were there, who… I could be near them! These connections, these passionate bonds are what gives meaning to living!''
Ulquiorra glares, charging in only for a red-black sparkling fireball hits Ulquiorra across the side, belonging to Red-Eyes that Jonouchi summoned using Judai's Duel Disk.
''And they still do right now! Because we fight together!'' Yugi yells out as he charges at him. Ulquiorra looks at him, swinging his blade at him as he tries to-
''BABY FLAME!'' Multiple smaller fireballs hit him across his back, stunning the Espada as Yugi slashes him and pushes him backwards.
''Such feeble-'' Ulquiorra utters out, already regenerating just as a fuma Shuriken is thrown at him but Ulquiorra slashes it only to reveal a second that transforms into Naruto, holding a Rasengan and slams it at him only for the Espada to swipe his arm and smacks him into the ground.
Naruto drops face forward, grunting as Ulquiorra raises from the ground and charges only to get intercepted by Blade Knight and Kaiser Vorse Raider. He slashes them down as he's then blasted by a combination of Judai's summoned Flame Wingman, Ruby firing Fire Dust shots and Alicia's Blue Flame, once more in her Valkyrie form. The three attacks explode upon him, trapping him in flames as they continue blasting at him.
''Yugi, charge up your Tengoku attack and we'll stall for time!'' Alicia orders the tricolor head, intensifying her flames but they're now being pushed back by Ulquiorra's Spiritual Energy, dissolving the flames entirely.
''MOON FRISBEE!'' Ulquiorra turns as he's hit by Sailor Moon's golden Frisbee attack, pushing him backwards while trying to tear through his chest but he grabs onto it and shatters it as he dodges a swing from the Dragon Blade. He thrusts his claw at Yugi who vanishes with Instant Transmission.
''You're all fighting a hopeless-'' The Espada begins declaring only to get hit by a Dragonaun Wave followed by a Chaos Spear.
''Like hell we aren't!'' Shadow shouts furiously as Ryan backs him up. ''Yugi-san is fighting not just for us but everyone else depending on him!''
Ulquiorra tries to turn to attack them only for Sonic to run around him rapidly, forming a Blue Tornado to entrap him.
''As long as he can still fight, we can too!'' The blue hedgehog declares with a smirk. Just then multiple spikes arise from the ground and stab Ulquiorra in place. Ed breathes as he also adds with his own smirk. ''Like we'll stand on the sideline when he'll do all he can to beat you.''
Irritated, Ulquiorra shoots upward, piercing through the spears and the tornado. He then aims down at the ground, immediately manifesting a Lanza del Relampago and throws it at them. Yugi panics, about to jump in there, until Mew Ichigo leaps in along with Danny, Alicia, Shadow, Sailor Moon and Judai, summoning Winged Kuriboh. Alicia raises her shield, releasing her fiery blue aura followed by Danny's ghost barrier, Shadow's Chaos energy barrier, Sailor Moon's Silver Millennium's power as a barrier and Mew Ichigo raises her Strawberry Bell, forming her pink barrier as it grows larger and wider with everyone supporting her.
''Yugi-kun and everyone risk their lives for me… for Orihime-chan too…'' Mew Ichigo begins uttering out, holding onto her barrier as her eyes glow determinedly. ''THERE'S NO WAY HE'LL LOSE NYA!'' Her barrier glows in a holy light for a brief moment before it dissolves Ulquiorra's attack to his shock. Then the barrier shatters apart as Mew Ichigo and the others drop on their knees.
''Nuisance.'' The Espada utters as he proceeds to shoot them with a Cero-
He's immediately shot across the arm by a sniper shot from Ruby, her arms trembling as she loads another bullet in the Crimson Rose and fires a second, this time piercing his claw. The Espada tries turning only for a shadow to be above him. He looks up to see it is a Blue-Eyes White Dragon as Kaiba commands it. ''Burst Stream of Destruction!''
His white dragon breathes a surge of destructive lightning blast upon the Espada, blasting him back to the ground. Ulquiorra glares more than enraged, firing a Cero Oscuras from above him, devouring the white blast and destroying Blue-Eyes.
''BIND, PLEASE!'' Suddenly Ulquiorra is wrapped up in chains by Haruto, breathing heavily, as he's eaten a doughnut to regain a tiny amount of his mana. He turns to tricolor head, yelling at him. ''What are you waiting for, Yugi!''
Yugi has been stunned by everyone's actions before he smiles. He then blasts upward, his dragon wings flapping at top speed. Ulquiorra sees this and breaks free from the chains. Mew Ichigo sees that and quickly whispers something to Ed's ear, blinking awkwardly.
''Enough resisting the end!'' Yelling as he takes aim with his left index finger, Ulquiorra fires a Cero Oscuras at him. Yugi sees it as he's about to stop it until suddenly Mew Ichigo leaps in front of them, getting a lift from Ed transmuting a massive pillar that launched her up there, gets in between and forms another pink barrier, blocking the head-on blast. Ulquiorra glares, focusing his power onto his attack but as the barrier begins cracking, Mew Ichigo refuses to lose her dress begins being torn slightly. She hisses, gripping tightly on her Strawberry Bell forward before it glows and she fires a Ribbon Strawberry Surprise, barely canceling out the Cero.
Gasping heavily as she turns around to face Yugi as her barrier finally fades away, Mew Ichigo smiles weakly. ''Do it…'' She begins uttering out as she falls down, screaming passionately. ''YUGI-KUN!'' She closes her eyes as she'll be caught by someone until she opens her eyes, being caught in a bridal style by Yugi.
''No, we'll do it together, Ichigo-kun!'' He corrects her with a passionate smile. The cat girl looks at him, astounded before she smiles warmly. The two look down at Ulquiorra and gaze determinedly before Yugi flies up higher, the moon-like sky shining behind him while carrying his Mew Mew.
''The Heavenly Dragon's Kick!'' The Dragon Knight begins to utter out proudly, taking on a Rider Kick pose as swirls of purple and blue energy wraps around his right leg, resembling a drill as he flies down and diving down at rapid speed. ''DRAGONAUN IMPACT!'' The flames erupt and take on half of an energy serpent dragon's body, diving downward like a shooting star.
Everyone is shocked, even Haruto as he's doing a Rider Kick and he smirks. Mew Ichigo grips tightly on Yugi's arm, blushing as the swirls of energy from this attack are protecting them. The lights of this attack are beautiful like the cosmos.
Ulquiorra simply raises his finger and fires a much stronger Cero Oscuras as the kick collides against the black energy blast. Yugi grunts, pushing his foot harder but Ulquiorra pressures his attack stronger.
''Utter pointless!'' The Espada yells, frustrated at his resistance to oppose him. ''All of this is meaningless; all your power is inferior to mines!'' He pours more energy into his black Cero, nearly consuming Yugi and Ichigo in his attack. ''You humans lack the hopelessness of what true despair is! That is why-''
''I know despair as much as you do.'' Ulquiorra staggers as Yugi begins uttering, the energy of his Dragonaun Impact protecting him and Ichigo.
The Dragon Knight frowns towards the Espada as he begins expressing somber. ''I've lived my life with only my Jiji-chan. I didn't start with friends, my sister was taken from me and I was weak and shy. I had no one but my games. Whenever I gain connections, they are taken from me. Whenever I was happy, it would be taken away from me. I was alone in my room for a long time…''
Mew Ichigo looks up at him, frowning sadly as she knows what he's referring to; having gone through the same loneliness too. However, Yugi then resumes speaking strongly. ''But I refuse to give up! Because what I wanted more was something that can't be seen but can be shown. And that is their hearts, their connections; the bonds we shared!''
She looks at him and blushes as she can't help but speak up too. ''Their warmth, their smile…'' Thinking of everyone who risks their lives to save them; she's grateful for all of them for that is what one should fight for. ''That's what you too are trying to grasp, trying to understand! Because what we are fighting for is not for victory, not to be the strongest but what is not seen by senses.''
Yugi smiles as Mew Ichigo's energy flows across the two, letting him kick harder against the black Cero.
''TO PROTECT THE LOVE AND BONDS OF THOSE AROUND US AND THOSE AROUND THEM!'' The two shout passionately in synch as their energy of the Dragonaun Impact begins pushing back the Cero Oscuras. Ulquiorra is shocked by this, trying to pour more of his power to overcome it.
''You say you wish to show me True Despair, to show me emptiness and loneliness.'' Yugi begins to question what he said before, protesting proudly. ''Then I will show you Hope, the Heart that burns fiery in my heart that connects to everyone INCLUDING YOU TOO!''
''GO, YUGI-CHAN, COUSIN ICHIGO-CHAN!'' Sailor Moon screams out, cheering.
''GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT, YUGI! MOMOMIYA!'' Jonouchi shouts out passionately.
''YUGI!'' Kaiba yells, wanting him to win already.
''BOOT HIM HARD, YOU TWO!'' Ryan yells out strongly.
''YUGI-SAN! ICHIGO-CHAN!'' Judai also cheers loudly.
''WIN IT, YUGI, ICHIGO!'' Ruby cries out cheerfully.
"RIOFU!" Riolu barks loudly as does Skitty purring. "NYA!"
Everyone else cheers the same and the Dragonaun Impact responds with a roar, pushing forward. Ulquiorra, shocked, can feel Yugi's attack is beginning to be overpowered. How? Could it be- No, their cries for him couldn't make him this strong. He tries to form another Lanza del Relampago. Even if he's caught up in the explosion, he will at least kill-
Suddenly, the Espada widens his eyes as an electrical spear stabs through his left arm that spreads it apart by sharp wires. He turns his head halfway to see it was Kojan, growling as he orders Yugi loudly. ''Finish this already, YUGI!''
Startled, Yugi slowly forms a smile before he lets out a powerful shout, streams of red aura as well as white and black sparks of energy exploding around his body.
"DO IT YUGI!" The united roars of Yin and Yang roar with Yugi, empowering him with their power.
''HEAVENLY DESTRUCTION-CREATION DRAGON'S KICK!'' Yugi begins to roar as his eyes glow burning red as he extends his right foot forward and the half-body energy dragon splits up and becomes two resembling Yin-Yang Dragon as they ram upon the Cero Oscuras. ''YIN-YANG DRAGONAUN IMPACT!''
The two-headed dragon attack begins penetrating right through the black Cero, devouring the darkness. Ulquiorra watches in disbelief as he's instantly kicked by the dragon heads and Yugi's foot, slamming and pinning him onto the ground.
''I-Impossible…'' The Espada utters mentally, not able to move as Yugi starts roaring, pressuring his kick harder and stronger. The world around them quakes as the dragon heads soon roar and ramming harder onto the Espada that the ground begins to crack open.
''Is this…'' Ulquiorra begins to question, staring at Yugi still pressuring his kick as he and Mew Ichigo yell out passionately. He stares at Yugi, kicking onto him but also the image of rows and rows of his comrades and their comrades, all of them pushing his back forward. ''What his Heart is…?'' Soon the light of the Dragon Knight consumes him and the whole area.
Everyone gets away in a hurry as Yugi pours everything, roaring harder as his dragon attack kicks with such force that the ground soon glows and erupts in energy.
Meanwhile, Rukia, Renji and Sado with Pesche and Dondochakka are struggling after Yammy transforms into his massive, gigantic Resurrección. They're helpless against such raw power as Yammy laughs, yelling out in a laugh. ''HAHAHA! IS THAT ALL YOU WEAKLINGS CAN-''
Suddenly his words are stopped as a powerful pressure comes down from above. Yammy looks up and watches the sky… cracking. The ceiling of Las Noches shakes violently as this force soon shatters the very fake sky, exploding as the two-headed dragon flies downward.
''Eh? The hell is-'' Yammy begins to question as the energy two-headed, half-body serpent dragon twirls downward in such speed before coming at Yammy. The secret 0 Espada grins, readying for-
He soon widens his eyes as this thing is actually larger than him and instantly consumes.
''AAAWWWWW!'' Yammy screams as he's suddenly struck by the chest, kicking with Ulquiorra on top him before the dragon rams them up into the sky, soaring up high as they tore through the fake sky even more before vanishing and two badly damaged Arrancar crashes into the ground with such force like meteors.

''W-what the hell was that?'' Renji questions with widened eyes. Sado drops his jaw slightly, not even sure. Rukia is just as speechless, wondering what that was but she's grateful it saved them.
Darkness consumes him like back then; the absolutely nothingness. No senses, no speck of life. It is… comforting, the sense of relief and… happiness. This was his home. Now… he can-
Then a sparkling light pierces through the darkness and soon Ulquiorra finds himself awakened; reverted back to base form. He lies on the sand as is Yammy, also reverted back and badly hurt.
Ulquiorra has a stunned expression, unable to move or even lift a finger. He's no doubt temporarily immobilized but he's… alive? His Spiritual Energy still exists, his existence is still present and yet… Words don't describe but this is the first time since he first was born that… he feels… something. The breeze, the sand underneath him, his wounds, his pain, even the dryness of his mouth and the broken fake sky reveal the night sky of Hueco Mundo.
This is the first time he's ever felt anything that wasn't nothing. He can even tell the wounds he received were not as life-threatening. No, the exact opposite; he stopped him but also healed him. The Dragon Knight, Aizen's enemy, spared him and even Yammy. Why? To make a point or show him another path?
Closing his eyes, the Espada remains still as he can't do anything now. He's failed in his mission and yet… now… he wishes to understand this sensation. Is this… what true happiness; to live? Is this life? Is compassion… Could it be? He doesn't answer anything as he ultimately falls unconscious, pondering in his thoughts.
Panting heavily, Yugi descends onto the sand with Mew Ichigo still in his arms. He sets her beside him as the two look at the miles away that the two Arrancars crash down upon.
''…'' They stare silently, holding hands until Yugi breaks the silence. ''I hope…'' He shakes his head, smiling, correcting his assumption. ''No, I know my message reach your Heart.''
Mew Ichigo looks at him, giggling as she responds, slapping his back a bit too hard. ''I hope he did too Nya!''
Yugi suddenly startles and finds himself dropping like a rock. The cat girl freaks out in horror, yelping in panic. ''NYA?! YUGI-KUN!'' She runs and picks him up fast, noticing that his legs aren't moving. ''Um, are you okay Nya?''
''C-can't feel my legs. Hahaha…'' Yugi responds, laughing nervously. He tries limping forward like a penguin, doing it very awkwardly to Ichigo's horror. Yin-Yang Dragon sighs as he needs to wait a few minutes to regain his feeling down below. He tells her to not worry, starting to feel something down there as she sighs of relief.
''You didn't have to spare them; you know?'' Mew Ichigo asks them, knowing that sparing so many foes will bite him in the butt later but then she adds. ''Then again, it wouldn't be like Yugi-kun either Nya!''
Yugi blushes, explaining his method is too kind but that doesn't change why he still spared them; he just had no reason to kill them and to him; that's what a knight should strive for. To show mercy yet compassion; to give others a second chance. Mew Ichigo just looks at him with both hands behind her back, blushing as that's one of the reasons why she admires him; him being kind is awesome.
They finally have time alone, just the two of them, as they stare deeply into the other.
''… Nice day huh?'' Mew Ichigo asks him, breaking the silence as Yugi smiles softly. ''Yup!''
They giggle before they find themselves leaning onto the other and embracing each other with a hug and a passionate kiss; one that both needed and wanted for so long. Their tails intertwine, wrapped around the other a bit as the two pull back.
''Sorry, it took me longer to finally save you.'' Yugi apologizes for his tardiness while Mew Ichigo giggles playfully, shaking her head. ''Nope! I was fine waiting for you, Nya.'' She blushes joyfully towards her hero, her dragon, her knight and thanks him from the bottom of her heart. ''I knew you would come for me, Yugi-kun. Thank you for keeping our promise!''
Yugi tries his best to not cry and instead smirks kindly, replying back. ''I couldn't help it; I vowed to you. I'm just mad it took me this long. Because…'' He pauses as he looks at her, his heart beating as her smile gives him strength and desire to protect it. For his kitty, for his lover, for his princess. ''Ichigo-kun, my promise and my love for you is eternity. Always.''
Ichigo suddenly turns bright red, never hearing him save something so romantic. She blushes nervously as her heart is beating even louder and not just that; but a strong heat to ''reward'' him. No, more than that! NAH! She grabs the side of his head and kisses him deeply, surprising Yugi who kisses her back. The two soon part away, blushing at each other.
''I think I'm ready to finally return home Nya.'' She proclaims, wanting to do him but once they're back at him.
Yugi agrees with her as he holds his left hand towards her, reaching out to her and asking her kindly with his own smile. ''Let's go home, Ichigo-kun. Let's go back with everyone back to those waiting for us.''
Mew Ichigo stares at him and smiles back joyfully, reaching out and accepting his hand. ''Yep~!''
The two look up at the broken sky of Las Noches, admiring the odd beauty of a fake blue sky with the true night dark sky of Hueco Mundo. They smile with hope across their faces, and most of all happiness to be together again as their hands squeezed slightly on the other; never to let go again. No matter how far apart they are; their hands, their hearts, they will always connect again. Always.
The little girl smiles joyfully, staring at the book of the reader showing the colorfully, cartoon-like drawing of the Dragon Knight holding hands with his cat princess, both looking up at the beautiful night-day sky. She blushes, loving this story especially for that image but her favorite image is far from longs away to see.
Yugi has defeated Ulquiorra and saved his kitty. However, will he be able to handle Aizen and stop his plans from reaching this Soul King?

Author's Note: NOW… I imagine a lot of you have questions and some are really questionable in "WTF IS THIS". So let me begin from the top…
Vasto Lorde Ichigo vs Kamen Rider Wizard All Dragon. YEA… Okay, here me out. All Dragon is strong enough to kick the Phantom, Phoenix (who has been growing stronger through each time he's destroyed), into the sun within moments. He should have the power to handle Vasto Lorde who is stronger than Ulquiorra Resurrección Segunda Etapa who's capable of destroying states or small countries with his strongest attacks and Vasto Lorde CAN DO THAT BUT BETTER. Why do I say that? Simple; if Wizard All Dragon has that much kicking power, then his power should have the same destructive force. THE ONLY TIME I can say no is Hell Verse since in that movie, Vasto Lorde can destroy Hell AND WELL… That's a big deal but I feel like that will no longer be canon due to the Manga. But, the Hope Ring can amplify Wizard's powers like it did in this chapter. Remember, the Hope Ring was able to destroy the amplified, evolved Gremlin who easily handled Wizard Infinity Style and base Flame Style Wizard with the Hope Ring defeated him.
Now… Yugi's actual True Yin-Yang Dragon Mode. How strong is- SO if True Dragon Blade Mode was strong against base level "Dragon Killer" Arrancar Deep Blue; this improved version is STRONGER! So could Yugi beat Ulquiorra if he wasn't drained- EH… Maybe? Yugi has become stronger; he could handle Ulquiorra's first Resurrección no problem but Segunda Etapa is tricky. I'll say he would have a better shot than Ichigo did and likely win, probably no if Chaos Emerald empowered. Plus, Yugi had help because he's not afraid to ask for help from his friends… for now.
Speaking of, the Dragonaun Impact part. I should remind you all that when a technique is used AND using its true name; it can grow in power by its user through their emotions, shouting the name or pouring more of their power. It's Anime logic 101. In this case, Yugi used all of his power, his feelings and the bond between him, everyone and Yin-Yang Dragon to eclipse Ulquiorra and his despair. That's the best way I can put it… though Yugi still held back and actually used that kick to ''heal'' Ulquiorra so he wouldn't die. That's just the kind of person Yugi is.
I'm happy how this turned out. This has been… extreme but necessary!
Next time, we enter a new arc and you can at least guess where we are heading towards, back to the human world, back to Karakura Town. See you then!
