AN: I do not own Code Geass.

DarkDremora: Sancia, Lucretia, Dalque, and Colonel Madd are all characters in Nightmare of Nunally. They're supposed to be part of the irregulars squad that Alice is also in. And yes, she is the one who becomes protective of Nunally.

Chapter 36: Symphony of Destruction

Carine danced in the center of her G1's room as dramatic classical music played over the destruction of the Saitama Ghetto. "God… even from here… their screams still reach my ears. It's heavenly!"

"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, my lady. But don't you think we should move onto the next stage of our plan?" Dasko asked humbly

"No… not yet… I want to enjoy this just a little bit longer…"

"As you wish."

Diethard Reid rolled his eyes at the sight, "I can't believe I have to be in here while a juicy story is just brewing out on the field. Just barely out of my reach… almost like it's teasing me."

"Mr. Reid, how's your camera? I want everything perfect for our upcoming announcement," Carine asked the reporter.

"It's in peak condition, Viceroy."

"Excellent, then be ready. I have a feeling that we'll be finished here soon."

"I'm soooo boooored!" Dalque complained while kicking a few pebbles by her Knightmare, "Why can't we just rush in there already?"

"Our orders state that we're only to act if I pick up any abnormal activity," Sancia responded while using her Geass to keep track of troop movement in her Knightmare, "So far… I'm only seeing people running for their lives… nothing out of the ordinary. What about you, Lucretia?"

The girl in question was doing more or less the same thing, except she was keeping track of the landscape with her Geass, "Nope. Nothing."

"I hate the waiting…" Dalque muttered, "I wish I could just spring into action right now!"

"Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it." Lucretia said blankly.

"Good! I need some action anyway!"

Alice watched the spat from her Knightmare while reading up on Ashford Academy, "What do you think about Zero?"

The other girls looked at her with confused faces, "What makes you bring him up? Do you think he'll show up?" the boisterous dark-skinned girl asked, "If so, I hope he brings along that Ace Pilot of his! From how Lloyd described her, she's sure to provide a suitable challenge!"

"I wouldn't treat this like a game if I were you," Suzaku, in his Lancelot, pulled up to the group, "Zero is a very dangerous man. And if he's gained as much favor with the Eleven's as projected, then we'll be in trouble."

"As projected? I doubt a bunch of small fries would be able to take us out in full-on combat, even if there were a thousand of 'em!"

The Knight sighed upon hearing this response, "You wouldn't say that if you were at Shinjuku."

"Oh? Would I? Those soldiers were weak, and they died because of their weakness. Speaking of which, weren't you also at Shinjuku? Yet even you were defeated at the hands of those terrorists."

"You're wrong. I subdued their resistance, but as a consequence, the Lancelot sustained heavy damage."

"Sounds like a failure to me!"

"Dalque! That's enough." Sancia commanded, "Today, we're on the same side, so please stop fighting with each other."

Lucretia watched as her friend retreated to her large Knightmare, "Kururugi," she spoke up, "Do you not feel anything for your people? They're being slaughtered right now, and yet… you seem fine."

Suzaku shook his head, "No. The terrorists of Saitama Ghetto aren't my people. My people don't kill innocent Britannian ambassadors who want to unite this Area through peaceful means."

"Is that what you truly believe?"

Before their conversation could continue, their commander said, "Focus up. I've got some unusual movement from one of our Sutherland's. No… there's two!"

"Over here!" Tamaki called out while hiding inside a grocery store.

"Tamaki, Ohgi! I'm glad you're safe." Naoto shouted while joining the two resistance members, "Where's everyone else?"

"The Britannian artillery is keeping us from meeting up with the others. So for now, it's just us." Ohgi responded while loading a handgun, "We've got to be careful, though. Just because the artillery stopped in this position doesn't mean we're out of danger."

"That's right. They've probably just stopped so that their forces could move in." the resistance leader added while drawing his own pistol.

"What do we do now? If we're found by those soldiers, they'll kill us on sight!" Naomi commented while holding her head.

"That's why we have to move with them. Right now, we don't stand a chance against them, but if we just follow the soldiers as they're clearing out buildings from behind, we'll be able to avoid confrontation." Naoto explained.

"Then why wouldn't we just stay in one place!?" Tamaki exclaimed, "I mean, if we keep moving, the chances of getting spotted are higher!"

"No. We have no idea if they'll continue bombardment after their soldiers have cleared the area. Then there's the issue of the second wave, which will do a more thorough check than the first."

"Seriously? So our only option is to secretly follow those Brits?"

"Only until Zero's able to extract us out of here."

"Zero's coming to help? How's he going to get past the encirclement?" Ohgi asked.

"Trust me, he has his ways."

Without warning, lead began to bombard their position, forcing the group to take cover, "This is Vector, we've got enemy contacts. Requesting support on position…"

"Well… so much for THAT plan." Tamaki muttered while returning fire.

Out of the corner of Naoto's eye, he saw six members of the Saitama resistance enter the building, carrying two RPGs and numerous machine guns, "Damn it. They've got us boxed in!" one member shouted as a squad of Britannian soldiers attacked from the way they came.

"Hey, is that Kozuki?" another asked, pointing at Naoto.

"There's no time for pointless chitchat!" the resistance leader shouted while shooting at a Britannian soldier as he dove for cover. "If this keeps up, we're finished."

Suddenly, two Sutherland's rounded a destroyed building, catching the rebels off-guard, "Looks like backups arrived!" one soldier shouted.

"Shit… we really are going to die here." Ohgi muttered as an APC arrived, carrying even more soldiers.

"Did they really call the entire army just to deal with a couple of thugs!?" Tamaki shouted while standing up, only to be shot in the shoulder.

"Tamaki!" Naomi shouted with tears in her eyes.

On instinct, Naoto grabbed one of the RPGs and aimed it at an encroaching Sutherland, before taking a shot at it, damaging the cockpit, forcing the pilot to eject. "That was ours!" a Saitama resistance member shouted, "You'll pay for taking that from us!"

"Are we really arguing right now?" Ohgi questioned while putting pressure on his friend's wound.

The second Sutherland maneuvered to the front of the store, and aimed its rifle at the group. Naoto wouldn't make it to the other RPG in time, "This can't be the end…" images of his sister flashed through the resistance leader's mind, "It looks like I have to leave her in your hands… Lelouch… I'm sorry… I'm so sorry…"

Out of nowhere, a third Sutherland slammed the second with its stun tonfa, crushing the cockpit, "What the hell was that!?" a soldier shouted as the new Sutherland equipped its rifle, killing the soldiers with a few quick bursts.

The APC tried to back away, only to be destroyed by a punch from above; it was another Sutherland. Naoto looked down at his phone, which was vibrating with the name 'Zero'. Upon answering it, the caller said, "Naoto. I'm glad to see we weren't too late."

"Le- I mean, Zero, what took you so long?"

"Turns out, getting past a Britannian encirclement is harder than it looks. Getting these frames wasn't easy."

"I hate to ask, but do you have any more? I feel naked without one."

"Luckily, I just so happen to have a Knightmare shipment log here that says they're delivering an entire shipment via the subway line. I won't be able to help if you go down there, so I'm counting on you to retrieve those frames." Lelouch commanded while checking the surroundings with his factsphere. "If you need weapons, take them from the dead."

"Is that Zero!?" a Saitama resistance member shouted, "He's the same guy who beat Britannia at Shinjuku! With him on our side, we'll be able to win for sure!"

Naoto ignored his 'comrades' excitement, and asked, "What about the others? Have you met up with them?"

The second Sutherland's cockpit opened, revealing Kallen, who was dressed in a military uniform, "Take this! You'll be able to contact the others with it!" she tossed a radio to her brother, who caught it with ease.

"Oh? So you decided to save everyone else before your brother? I'm hurt!"

The red head smiled, "I'm glad you've still got a sense of humor. And for the record, we only saved them first because they were the only ones we found. Luckily, those soldiers radioed for help while we were passing by, otherwise, we wouldn't have found you."

"Thank god for that." the resistance leader shouted while turning to the Saitama resistance, "Are you guys gonna help us now? If so, you'll have to be under my command."

The terrorists looked at each other, and nodded, "As long as we win, we'll follow you to the end!"

"That's them." Naoto whispered as a squad of Britannian soldiers were guarding the subway. Some were complaining about having to waste their time here, while others were just bored out of their minds.

"Jeez, why are we the ones who have to stay out of the action?" one asked, "I haven't even gotten to kill one of those bastards yet."

"Just be thankful that we're out of danger for now." another soldier responded.

"Focus up. Warhammer's here." a Britannian train pulling several cargo containers.

"Those must be the Knightmare's." Naoto whispered to Ohgi, who kept his eyes glued on the soldiers, which were now entirely focused on the train.

"About time you showed up!" a soldier shouted as the conductor walked out, alongside numerous pilots from the second car, "There were some complications when loading up the Sutherland's, but they should be fine now."

In the next second, Naoto's group stood up, and fired upon the soldiers, defenseless pilots, and conductor, killing them all in the first hail of bullets. "Lelouch, we've acquired the Knightmare's." the resistance leader reported as they gathered around the train.

"Excellent. Now, I have one more task for you."

"You've done it? Good. Move to the designated points, and once you're in position, contact me for further orders." Lelouch responded. "Things are going well… we couldn't bring Milly's Knightmare's into battle because it would've taken too much time, and that's not even including the issue with transporting them." his eyes landed on Kallen, who was on the lookout for any uninvited guests. "Though… I did send Maya and Mario to get the Sougetsu's, so once they get here, winning will be all too simple."

"Whoa… what is that?" Kallen muttered as a large Knightmare approached their position, "I've never seen a model like that."

"That thing's monstrous. It's at least double our size," Lelouch commented as the frame stood adjacent to them. "Who are you?" he asked over the intercom.

Instead of answering his question, the enemy pilot said, "Which one of you is the pilot of the red Glasgow in Shinjuku?"

"How do they know!?" the Prince's eyes widened with shock, "Did our lack of reaction give it away? Or is it something else." upon closer inspection, he noticed the machine had a few Geass symbols painted on its arm and chest.

"Hello? Terrorist? Which one of you is that pilot? I want to fight you." Dalque, the enemy pilot, reiterated.

"Let me handle her, Zero." Kallen stepped forward with a look of determination.

"Wait! We have no idea what that Knightmare is capable of, and those symbols…"

"Oh? You noticed?" their opponent responded, "Don't worry about them, they won't be doing anything… yet."

Lelouch couldn't tell if she was lying or not. Though, whether those symbols did anything or were just for show, was irrelevant now. Clearly, they needed to deal with this threat, and fast.

"Dalque, do you need assistance?" Sancia asked through her radio, "I have them right in my cross-hairs." she was currently placed just outside the city with a massive sniper rifle set up on a building.

"No way! I told you guys to not interfere! She's my prey!"

The commander sighed, "Whatever… just don't get carried away."

Kallen's Sutherland stared down Dalque's Knightmare for a few minutes, "Seriously, what is that thing? I've never seen anything like it. Not only that, but it seems to be the same size as the Gawain. No… maybe it's a bit shorter."

Her opponent took on a boxing stance, and began moving forward. Kallen lifted her rifle, before unleashing a volley of lead on her aggressor, who, in response, moved behind a building. The red head tried to round the corner swiftly, purposefully making her turn wider to avoid a surprise attack. This ended up paying off, as Dalque broke through the wall with a punch, attempting to grapple her opponent.

Kallen easily dodged the punch, and used her landspinners to speed away. Of course, the hulking beast wasn't done yet, retreated into the building before she could retaliate, "That thing doesn't have any weapons. Not only that, but it's also missing landspinners." the red head muttered while pressing a few buttons on her console, which triggered a chaos mine to pop out of her hip, "Hopefully this won't explode in my hand. After all, they're still in the experimental stage." after tossing the projectile, it soon went off, sending countless shrapnel bits at the building, tearing it apart.

"Not bad, but I'll do you one better!" Dalque shouted while catching the crashing building, lifting it like it was nothing.

"Whoa, what the hell!?" Kallen exclaimed while backing away as the Knightmare sent the large structure hurtling toward her.

In a split second, Kallen shot a hole large enough for her Sutherland to jump through, avoiding the building's sheer weight successfully. However, as she was midair, Dalque appeared before her with a maniacal smile, "Too slow!" she shouted while sending a devastating punch into the red head's guard, sending her crashing into another building.

"Damn… why's she so strong?" Kallen wondered as her Knightmare's arms shattered, "Knightmare's shouldn't be able to lift that kind of weight, yet she did it effortlessly." those Geass symbols on her opponent's frame flashed in her mind, "Does she have Geass? But that doesn't make sense… why would it also affect her Knightmare?"

The red head looked up, and saw her opponent running toward her, so in response, she wheeled toward them. Once Dalque was close enough, she cocked her fist back, preparing for a punch, "So you're running straight into death? How disappointing!" she shouted while sending her punch forward. Unfortunately for her, Kallen wasn't giving up any time soon, as she expertly dodged the strike, and countered with a swift kick to the chest, "Not bad! But you're not strong enough!"

Just as the punch was about to connect, the red head dropped straight down, avoiding it once again, and countering with a straight kick to the chest once again, this time, causing her opponent to stumble slightly. Then, she used the moment to do a flip, and fired a slash harken at Dalque's head. Luckily, she moved her head out of the way just in time. But that was what Kallen was anticipating, as her slash harken successfully anchored itself on a building, she pulled herself forward, sending a kick into her opponent's head as she passed by.

Dalque crashed into the ground with a smile on her face, "Damn. Even with no arms, you're still this good? It makes me wonder how well you'd fair in a competent frame!" she watched as the Sutherland used it's landspinners to travel up the building. Dalque quickly destroyed the building's supports, causing it to topple into another, forcing Kallen to anchor herself with her slash harkens.

Of course, by doing this, she lost one of her main weapons, and pieces of mobility, which her opponent took full advantage of. Dalque rushed up the side of the building with her fist cocked back, but just like last time, Kallen ducked the strike and shouted, "Is punching all you know how to do!?" before sending two quick kicks into the enemy frame, causing it to topple to the side.

The hulking Knightmare barely managed to stop itself from falling all the way, but it was all for naught, as Kallen retracted her slash harkens, before sending a spinning kick into the frame, mimicking Suzaku.

In the background, dark clouds began to loom over the battlefield, signifying that a storm was coming.

"You're incredible!" Dalque shouted as the building hit the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust, which she used to assault her opponent. However, Kallen used her landspinners to back away faster than the Knightmare could punch.

This continued until they both exited the dust, where Naoto was waiting with a group of Sutherland's, "Fire!" he shouted.

Simultaneously, the Knightmare's surrounding Dalque opened up, but before their bullets made contact, the Geass warrior balled up, making sure her limbs were as close to her body as possible. This minimized the bullet's damage temporarily. Obviously, she wouldn't last long if this continued, so backup was called. "Hey Alice, I hate to bother you, but it seems I've bitten off more than I can chew."

Out of nowhere, a normal-sized variant of Dalque's Knightmare appeared, "Don't worry, this was within expectations." the blonde responded while blitzing the half of the Sutherland's within a second.

"Wh-what the hell was that!?" a Saitama resistance member shouted as his friends were killed, "I didn't sign up for this shit!"

He pulled his ejection levers, but before the boosters could activate, a bullet tore apart his cockpit with ease, "Target eliminated," Sancia reported as smoke rose from her rifle.

Kallen's eyes darted from the three frames, "We don't stand a chance like this…" she narrowly dodged a punch Alice sent toward.

"Whoa. You reacted to that? Maybe you are something special." the blonde said unenthusiastically while speeding past the red head.

"How's she so fast!? This doesn't make sense!" Kallen shouted while going back-to-back with her brother.

"Keep calm, I'm here." Naoto said reassuringly as the rest of the Sutherland's joined them in a huddle, creating a phalanx-type formation.

"Naoto, I'm coming to help!" Lelouch shouted over the radio.

"No!" the resistance leader shouted as the enemy Knightmare's circled their position, "Just keep the rest of the army away! If you fall, then all hope is lost."

The Prince looked at his IFF screen and muttered, "There's no way I can do that… if it were just regular soldiers, I'd be able to win this easily. But with those special Knightmare's… and the Lancelot on standby… I can't win."

"You have to!" the older Kozuki shouted as their group spread out while Dalque charged in, "You're the only one able to outsmart Britannia! I've seen it before at Shinjuku!"

Kallen leapt over Dalque's Knightmare, and hit her with an ax-kick, which was narrowly blocked, then Alice followed up by sending a flying kick toward the red head. Luckily for Kallen, gravity did its job, and moved her out of the kick's way.

"Her movements are carefully charted. They're not some ordinary pilot." Alice muttered with mild frustration.

From her right, Naoto threw a punch that forced the blonde to activate her Geass 'the speed' once more, easily dodging the strike, while countering with her own. "Naoto!" Lelouch shouted as he heard the resistance leader groan in agony.

"I'm okay…" he said with clenched teeth, "Listen… pull another miracle, just like you did in Shinjuku, feed this resistance group's dream of beating Britannia. Show them… show them that we really can beat Britannia. Show them that last time was no fluke!"

The Prince stared at his screen for a second before taking in a deep breath. "P5, move to point A8. P6, move to point B8. P9, move to point C8. Hold position there in an arc formation, make sure Britannia can't get through! If you encounter any civilians, send them to point A12. The rest of you, converge on point A13, we're punching a hole through the encirclement!"

"Is this guy insane!?" Tamaki shouted, "That's practically suicide!"

"No… it's only a matter of time before we're defeated at this rate. Don't you remember what that White Knightmare did to us last time?" Ohgi asked, "And now, we don't even have the equipment we used to defeat it, so our chances of winning are next to zero. Our best bet is to escape while we can."

Sugiyama maneuvered his Sutherland toward the designated point as Saitama resistance members traveled on-foot below, "So we'll be punching through here? With what, nine Knightmare's?"

"And a ton of regular infantry." Naomi added.

"You're wrong. Most of our 'army', if you could even call it that, are just civilians that have been caught up in all this. They're not trained soldiers." Ohgi responded while gunning down a Sutherland.

"That doesn't matter." Lelouch chimed in, "The will to survive is powerful. When the time comes, they'll either kill or be killed. It's either they give it their all for a chance at tomorrow, or give up for certain death!"

"It's do-or-die time!" Naoto shouted as he sent a punch into Dalque's side, which was soon followed up by a kick from Kallen.

"They're getting desperate." Sancia commented as her friend was knocked into a building. "Private Kururugi, I need you to move toward the southeast side of the encirclement. They're attempting to break through there."

"On it." Suzaku responded while speeding away in the Lancelot.

"Dalque, Alice, you'll be on your own from now on. I'm going to support the encirclement."

"If that's the case, then I think it's time to stop playing with these small fry." Dalque muttered while staring at Naoto.

"I agree. It's time to put these terrorists down for good." Alice added while glaring at Kallen.

"What's this? A suicide run?" Carine wondered as she saw multiple Knightmare's and helicopters being destroyed.

"They're purposefully running away from the G1." Dasko commented, "What's our train's status?"

"Our last reports say that it's still stocked full of Knightmare's, sir." a soldier reported.

"Good. Send them to support that line, meanwhile, collapse the encirclement on those terrorists. Suffocate them." the Knight sighed with frustration, "At first, I thought their commander was Zero with how he was decimating our forces. But with this tactic… there's no way he'd use something so stupid."

"Oh well. At least we got to kill some Eleven's," Carine added cheerfully, "So this day wasn't all bad."

"You're right, my lady. Our mission was to obliterate these terrorists, and it looks like we've done that successfully."

"Or at least… that's what they think!" Lelouch shouted as he, Naomi, Tamaki, and Sugiyama sped down a main street, destroying any and all Sutherland's along the way. Those that were hiding in alleyways were quickly taken care of by the Knightmare's lead by Ohgi. Meanwhile, the Britannian soldiers were left to the terrorists on foot to deal with. "Blitzkrieg is our best option here. With our limited forces and armaments, it's better to drill fear into the enemy with these fast attack tactics. With how spread out the encirclement is, it'll only take a few seconds for new Sutherland's to follow our path of destruction, that's why Ohgi's force is pulling the rear, destroying any new Knightmare's that pop-up in our wake. That leaves the infantry, which should already be left in shambles with how fast we've broken through their line. It's as they say 'appear strong when you are weak'."

"Die, you bastards!" a Saitama resistance member shouted while gunning down three soldiers, who were taking cover behind a car after Ohgi's group passed by.

"We're doing it! We're really doing it!" Tamaki shouted as he equipped his stun tonfa and took out an enemy Sutherland, "The edge of this damned place is in sight!"

"You're wrong! We've still got one more obstacle to clear." Lelouch responded as dozens of Sutherland's were waiting for them at the edge of the Ghetto. "This is something we can't blitz through. No matter how fast we move."

The group took cover behind a destroyed building as the enemy opened fire. "Damn it, Zero! Just when I thought you were a good guy, you lead us into a death trap!" Tamaki complained as he fired on the enemy position.

Zero watched his screen as the train carrying dozens of Knightmare's moved past them, "If my calculations are correct…" he eyed the Britannian position, which was dug in with Knightmare's, tanks, and infantry, "It should stop somewhere right there. Hopefully Naoto did as I asked." his eyes then focused on the dots of Kallen and Naoto as they danced around two enemy units, "We'll be creating our own encirclement here!"

"What!? Why're we defending now!?" Sugiyama exclaimed in disbelief, "We don't stand a chance here!"

"We don't have any other options." Ohgi retorted, "Do as Zero says!"

"Thank you, Kaname. P5, P6, P9, join us for the defense!" dozens of innocent civilians ran past the group's defenses, and jumped into a ditch, taking cover from the incoming fire. "One minute! That's all we need!"

"A minute?" Naoto muttered as he ducked a punch from Dalque and countered with two jabs, "Does it have something to do with the train?"

"Hey, you've got some skill too." his opponent complimented, "Not as much as the other, but good enough I suppose."

The Kozuki dodged another punch aimed for his head, which created a massive hole in the building behind him. "That strength should be illegal!" he sent a sweeping kick which knocked Dalque onto her back, then he tried to hit her with a power stomp. Instead, she grabbed his leg, and flung him into a building.

"Oops… looks like I put too much power into that." the dark-skinned girl said playfully as she held the Sutherland's dismembered leg in one hand.

"Naoto!" Kallen shouted as she narrowly dodged a strike from Alice.

"How are you doing that? Reaction times like yours shouldn't be possible…" the blonde muttered with an annoyed tone. Alice sent a swift kick, intending to take off her opponent's head. In response, the red head used her landspinners to contort the Sutherland's body in a motion where the kick sailed past one of her horns, "Seriously? Again?"

"I can't keep this up!" Kallen muttered while retreating into the building her brother was in.

"If only you had a better Knightmare, we'd actually have a fighting chance," the resistance leader muttered as the final Saitama resistance member crashed into their building, dying in a fiery wreck. "We've been completely decimated like this…"

"Dalque, we should really be focusing on one of our opponents…" Alice pleaded, "If we deal with the no-armed one first, the other will fall soon after."

"Hell no! You're lucky I'm sharing my prey with you at all!" her 'comrade' responded spitefully, "Stay out of my way, and I'll stay out of yours."

The blonde sighed as Dalque rushed recklessly into battle, "Can't say I didn't try, Sancia."

"Wait… where'd the other guy go?" the dark-skinned Geass user asked.

"It's just us now." Kallen responded, "I'll be ending this fight right now."

"Is that what you really think? Then let's test that!" Dalque led with a right hook, which the red head easily dodged by moving backwards. While the Geass user was recovering from the strike, Kallen fired her slash harkens toward their head, forcing them to make a risky maneuver to the right, crashing into the wall, taking out another one of the building's supports. Now enraged, the hulking Knightmare charged toward Kallen, hoping to tackle her into the final support. However, the red head easily moved out of the way, revealing her brother, who had both of his stun tonfa's, ready for a strike.

Dalque tried to stop, but in the end, it was futile, as she sailed into the heavy metal rods, knocking her to the ground. Though, her Knightmare only had a large dent in its chest from the strike. What was causing the most damage, was the ringing being sent throughout the frame's body, damaging the pilot's ears.

As the sibling left the building, they took out the final supports, causing it to finally collapse on the helpless Geass user. "Not bad. Though, I won't be that easy to defeat." Alice commented with her arms crossed.

"Why'd you leave your friend to die like that?" Kallen asked, trying to buy as much time as possible.

"She's not dead." the blonde boldly proclaimed, "This is just a learning experience. Maybe next time she won't be so reckless."

Naoto sighed, "Kallen, we need to get out of here quickly, I don't know how much longer I can stay on one leg."

"I know. But for that to happen… we have to get past her." the trio each entered their own fighting stance, readying for the next round.

A sniper round barely clipped the horn of Lelouch's Sutherland, causing him to get even lower, "Zero, my man, best buddy, please tell me you have a plan!" Tamaki shouted as he fired his last few rounds at the enemy position, "Because I'm out of ammo over here!"

"Same with me…" Sugiyama muttered as he checked his rifle.

"I've still got some more if you need any," Ohgi offered.

"No. Keep your ammo… the shows about to start." Zero pulled out a button while carefully watching the train stop below the enemy position, "And with this, I call check." he pushed down on the contraption, causing the cars to erupt in a fiery explosion that opened up the encirclement, "There it is! Now push through!"

"They must've armed that train with explosives once they robbed it of its original cargo." Sancia commented, "I guess even my Geass can't see everything."

"Ah- Dalque's been defeated!" Lucretia reported, "What do we do?"

"We're holding here, if the enemy gets away, then we've failed this whole operation."

"You're wrong, Sancia," Colonel Madd chimed in through the radio, "Retrieve Dalque. I don't want her captured by those terrorists, understand?"

"But we already have Alice-"

"Who says she won't fail too? Go support your teammates. That's an order."

Sancia sighed with frustration, "Very well, Colonel Madd… we'll rescue Dalque."

"So we're really leaving the defense up to him?" Lucretia asked as she followed behind her commander.

"Correct, he's all that stands between victory and defeat…"

"You mean that Eleven pilot's all that's left? You expect me to trust the last line of defense with a terrorist who thinks he's one of us?" Carine asked a soldier who reported the information.

"Respectfully, my Lady. This Eleven has shown remarkable skill when it comes to piloting a Knightmare frame. As long as he has the delusion of being equal with us, he'll fight like hell to maintain that line." Dasko explained.

"If you say so. Hopefully he doesn't do too good of a job. I really don't want to be awarding medals to people like him."

"Don't worry, I'll make sure you won't ever come in contact with Private Kururugi."

"Thank you, Dasko."

"We're in the home stretch!" Tamaki shouted as he pushed forward alongside Naomi, Sugiyama, and Ohgi, "I can't believe it!"

"Not yet…" Lelouch muttered.

"Oh c'mon! Why do you always have to say that!"

"There's still one obstacle, or have you forgotten?" the Prince pointed at the White Knightmare, which stood at the center of the burning flames.

"Oh shit… it's him, ain't it?" Sugiama muttered while stopping dead in his tracks. Below, thousands from the Saitama residence ran past him, ignoring the serious peril that stood before them.

"Don't worry, I've come up with a contingency for this." Lelouch replied as two Knightmare's approached in the distance. Soon, he patched them into his frequency, "Maya, Mario, it's about time you two arrived."

"Sorry for being late." the latter sibling apologized, "Maya insisted on getting a driver to deliver our third package."

"Please tell me you didn't bring the Guren…"

"Hey! I thought I was doing something nice!" Maya shouted, "I thought you wanted to win anyway?"

"No. This battle's unwinnable, I've realized that. We can't keep fighting Britannia this way. From now on, I must create the conditions on which we fight. After this, everything will change." Lelouch responded.

"That's nice and all, but how do you plan on doing that?"

"Well… we can start by defeating the Lancelot! Topple the white Knight, and break free from Britannia's encirclement!"

Both siblings smiled upon hearing those words, and readied their revolving blade Naginata's "Yes sir!"

AN: I haven't seen Nightmare of Nunally in its entirety, so I'm basing Alice, Dalque, Sancia, Lucretia, and Colonel Madd's personalities while keeping the wiki's (lack luster) information about them in mind. Also, there aren't any messurements for Dalque's Knightmare frame (at least anywhere that I searched), but since it's described to be abnormally large, I'm saying it's slightly shorter than the Gawain, but a bit taller than the Galahad.
