Molly rushed over to where Huggy once stood, her eyes wide in disbelief.
"H-Huggy?! Where'd you go?!" she yelped as she waved her arms around the area. She stopped after a moment before she hugged herself, a nervous laugh bubbling up out of her throat. "Hehe...Hehehe...I really am tired! There must've been nothing here in the first place! Same with the voices...and the key must've been...floating on a string...and..." The smile on Molly's face slowly faded as she trembled before she sudden threw her arms up. "OH, WHO AM I KIDDING?! I'm not that tired at all! Maybe to hear voices and see keys appear, but not enough to imagine feeling Huggy's fur when I hugged him! HUGGY! WHERE DID YOU GO?!" she yelled. She waited, but all she got back was silence. She groaned as she curled in on herself. "I knew I should've stopped for a short nap, but nooo. I was too afraid Mom and Dad would catch wind of me and stop me before I got here." She stayed like that for a bit longer before she sighed and got back up. "Well, I can't stop now. I'll just have to...push pass my lack of sleep and trudge on." she decided before looking up at the locked door. "Let's try this again." she said before shooting the blue hand out at the scanner. It stuck and scanned the hand, allowing the door to rise up and allow entry.
"Good. It didn't fizzle out." she said as she pulled the hand back and walked through towards the Make A Friend station. "Make a friend, huh? Wish I could've done that in sch-"
She stopped moving when a familiar looking arm slithered off the wall and into a doorway before it closed. Molly blinked a few times before she rushed over to the door and flung it open.
"Huggy?!" she yelled. All she got once again was silence as she stared down the dark corridor. Either Huggy was fast, or she was finally losing it. Either way, it didn't stop her. "Creepy or not, here I come." she said as she power walked through the empty. "Just make it to the other door. Just make it to the other door. Just make it to the-"
HSSSS!
"WHA!" she yelped as she steam shot out of a pipe, making her turn and run into a wall. "...ouch." she groaned as she rubbed her aching face. "That's it! Rip it off like a band-aid!" she huffed before she took off down the hall. She kept running until she burst through the door on the other end. "Hmm...No Huggy. Just a bunch of carts that...oh...my gosh." she said as she examined a few red stains on the side of the carts. She swallowed the lump in her throat as she backed. "It's just red paint...in a bad lighting." she told herself as she walked on before stopping in front of another TV, the VCR being yellow this time. "Hmm...No tape this time?" she asked as she looked around. "Maybe it's already in?...Nope." she said after looking inside the tape player. "Well, can't watch what isn't here...I'm talking to myself a lot." she realized as she ascended the stairs and took a right. A poster of Huggy telling workers to take breaks, but only for 10 minutes, caught her eye. "Only ten minutes? Were they worked to the bone or something?" she asked before she looked to her left and saw a claw like machine connected to the ceiling, with a lot of boxes and such on and around a conveyor belt. "Is this a warehouse?" she asked before spotting something on the other side of the room.
Encased in a small glass box was a red right hand.
"Awesome!" she exclaimed as she shot her blue hand towards it. Sadly, even with all the wire she had, it wasn't long enough to reach the box. "Crap! I need that hand!" she huffed, her eyes going to the door needing both hands to open it. She growled in frustration before looking at the claw, then at the controls next to her, then at the fuse that was at her feet. She picked it up and placed it in its correct spot before smiling. "Looks like I'm going hunting." she said as she found a spot to jump down and descended to the lower level. "Hope they're all here." she said as she began to look around. She scanned the nearby shelves before spying the green fuse on the other side. She grabbed it, and the yellow VHS tape that was nearby, before moving on. A little more searching of the room later and she had found the remaining two fuses. "Okay! Now, to get back up there." she said as she looked around again. "No ladder...Maybe this door?" she said as she grabbed the handle with her hands and slowly pulled the door open, leading her back to the start and the yellow VCR.
"Perfect timing." she said as she popped the tape in. A moment later, the yellow claw appeared as two men, Rich and Avery, could be heard complaining about their jobs. "Well, aside from learning this place had crappy work conditions, that wasn't very informative." she muttered as she ascended the stairs again and walked to the control panel. "Let's see. Red to red, yellow to yellow and green to green." she said as she inserted the fuses. She watched as the claw came to life and moved over above the box containing the red glove. She saw it descend before something out of the corner of her eye caught her attention. She turned just as something disappeared inside, a door slamming down on one of the upper conveyor belts. "What was that?" she muttered. She kept looking at the door before the sound of glass breaking snapped her out of it. "Oh, right! Red hand!" she exclaimed as she jumped down and took the hand out of the case. She examined it a few times before removing her GrabPack, attached it to the right cannon and slipped it back on. She did a few test squeezes to make sure it worked before she grinned and nodded.
"Now I'm ready to take on anyone in Pattycake!" she said before she chuckled before aiming at the scanners. She clicked both buttons and shot both hands forward, allowing them to be scanned before the door rose. "Nice. Take that, Mr. Do-Not-Enter Door!" she laughed before walking in. She saw the drop and rollers before sliding down. "WOOHOO!" she cheered before coming up to another sealed door. "Okay...how do I get this open?" she asked before she wandered around inside the small area. A few minutes of going in circles and connecting the electricity later, the door finally opened and the conveyor belt began to move. "Seriously! What's with the stupid way of unlocking the doors?!" she asked as she sat on the conveyor belt so as to not be knocked over. "Where's this going anyway?" she asked before a red light came on, with toy parts falling on her. "Ow! Plastic hurts." she grumbled before it happened two more times, with more parts falling on her. "Now I understand why they didn't want anyone entering through here." she said as she reached the end of the line before quickly standing up to avoid the broken glass from the chamber. She quickly jumped out and looked around the inside of the Make A Friend room.
"Okay. Now where do I go?" she asked before she saw the door leading further into the factory. She walked up to it to see that it was locked with a scanner that only opened when someone placed a toy in the scanner. "So now I need a toy, huh?" she asked before eyeing her backpack, then vigorously shook her head. "Uh uh! No way am I giving any of my toys to anything!" she said in refusal before looking at the giant toy making machines. "This is a toy factory, so I'll make one and feed it to the scanner." she decided before walking over to the controls and read the sign. "So it takes the parts and makes the toys, huh? Great...except there's no power. Ugh!" she groaned as she began looking around again. She wandered up to the upper level before spying a pink tape on a small ledge. "How'd that get up there?" she asked before shooting the red hand out to grab and retrieve it. "Gonna keep you until I found that tape player." she said before she looked at the coils and power boxes. "Why? Why is it like this?"
"Because it's fun to solve."
"Who said that?!" she asked before wincing as she felt a headache form. After a moment, the pain went away. "What was that? Who's voice was that?...So familiar." she muttered before shaking her head. "I'll worry about that later. Right now, solve this stupid thing and make a toy." It took a bit of time, but she eventually powered up the machines. "Finally! Fun to solve? My ass!" she cursed as she walked down the steps, but stopped at the pink VCR. "Wow. How'd I not notice you before?" she asked before she listened to the tape of Stella Greyber's interview.
"So she was...a big kid that wanted to make toys for others?" Molly asked before shrugging. "Meh. Okay." she said before she walked down the steps and over to the control console. "Okay! Let's make a toy!" she said before hitting the button. Nothing happened...and then the machines roared to life. "WHOA!" she yelped as they all opened their eyes, steam hissing and the conveyor belts moving. "Why...is the one in the middle staring at me?" she asked as she saw it's eyes follow her everywhere. "Just blame lack of sleep." she said as she pulled the levers to feed the conveyor belt parts. She watched as the parts went through each machine, with each time becoming more of a toy until finally...
"Nice! Catbee!" she said with a smile as she gently held the toy before hugging it. "And the paint's already dry? That's fast!" she said before taking it to the toy scanner. "Okay. Hope it's good enough." she said as she put the toy in the scanner. It scanned the toy, which disappeared for some reason, before it was accepted, allowing the door to open. "Another puzzle solved." Molly said while dusting her hands before walking inside. She saw two doors before the hall ended in total darkness. "Guess the power's out that way." she said before looking at the words next to the doors. "Stairway...to Hell? Who wrote that?" she wondered before pulling on the doors. "Locked." she said before looking into the darkness. "Okay...into the dark I go." she as she walked towards the darkness...
"UWAAAAAAAAAHHHH!
Then quickly run back the other way with a terrified look on her face. She panted for a moment before the alarms in the room blared, making her look back just in time to see none other than the giant Huggy Wuggy coming out of the darkness, it's eyes dilated and mouth wide open, showing two rows of razor sharp teeth.
"Okay...I'm really hoping you're a hallucination this time!" she yelled in terror before it lunged at her.
