At a lake village, the Ninja were walking on the walkbridge as they looked up and saw a fisherman on the sign. "Welcome to Stiix. Uh, watch your step." He advised after seeing Jay trip a bit before his fishing line got a catch. "Oh, I caught one. It's a big fella." He said as he started pulling on his line before he was pulled over into the dip, "Aw dang," he complained as the Ninja looked at him weirdly.

"Well, at least he tried." Lydie said with a shrug before they turned and saw Kai sitting on the plank, looking a bit nervous. "You okay, Kai?" She asked in confusion.

"I didn't know you were afraid of heights," Jay commented.

"I'm fine with heights. It's water I hate." Kai said nervously as he stood up.

"Didn't seem to have a problem before." Zane said with a shrug.

"Before I could make a fire dragon at will." Kai corrected him. "Since Morro took over Lloyd and our powers are unstable, I haven't felt… Aah!" He yelped as the plank below him broke off, leaving him dangling as Cole rushed up and helped him up.

"Technically you still can make an Elemental Dragon, just one that would burn yourself and all of us to the ground," Lydie told him.

"Yeah, I got that." Kai said before he nearly tripped over the edge as he yelped before Lydie grabbed him back again.

"Well, since we know ghosts don't like water either, at least we should feel safe being in a village surrounded by it." Cole said optimistically.

"And you should've mentioned you hate water, which is ironic since you're a fire ninja." Lydie said with a chuckle. "You think you can lead the team while surrounded by water?"

"Uh, possibly." Kai said uncertainty as he looked at the water below them.

"Well, I for one would feel much safer being led by someone who isn't Hydrophobic," Jay commented.

Lydie hummed and then turned to Zane, "Alright, Zane, since Kai doesn't have his sealegs, you're in charge now." She stated.

"What? Why him?" Kai questioned.

"Number 1: He's the smartest, Number 2: We can trust him to make the right calls and Number 3: The worst he has to worry about with water is getting rusty," Lydie listed out.

"Actually, I am made of Titanium, a non-corrosive metal," Zane commented.

"Well, Zane is the most logical choice," Cole said as Jay nodded and Kai sighed in acceptance.

As they walked into the village, the Ninja, minus Zane, held their noses, "Urgh, someone please tell me that's just fish and the locals." Lydie commented on the bad smell.

"What a dump," Jay added in disgust, "You'd think the thief who stole the Scroll of Airjitzu would have better taste," He commented.

"This is Ronin we're talking about, he'd steal the sea if it was worth anything," Cole told him.

"We just gotta find which rock he's under and get to the scroll before Morro does," Kai stated.

"Perhaps we should split up to cover more ground," Zane suggested.

"Then let's start looking." Lydie said with a nod.

A bit later, after the group split up, Kai, Cole, and Lydie were in a pawn shop searching through some items they've never seen or familiar with as Cole found an item he knows very well. "Wait a minute, this is my dad's Blade Cup Trophy." He said as he picked up said trophy. "What's it doing in a pawn shop?"

"More importantly, why is the Fangblade still in it?" Lydie questioned, noticing the Fangblade still in the trophy.

"Oh, we figured that after the Devourer was freed and destroyed, the Fangblades are just pieces of scrap now." Cole explained. "So, I knew that my dad would be happy to see his trophy again after I put the Fangblade back in place but then one day, it was gone."

"Selling stolen goods?" Kai questioned with a knowing look. "Sounds like we might have stumbled on the right place."

Lydie then reached for her comm, "Jay, Zane, we found Ronin's place." She reported as they heard whistling and she shushed Kai and Cole who nodded.

Ronin then walked in with a blue and white vase before he saw Kai, Lydie and Cole inside and was about to walk out before Jay and Zane jumped in behind him, "Ronin, going so soon?" Jay asked seriously as Ronin gulped.

"If this was about our last encounter it was only business." Ronin tried to reason as the Ninja surrounded him.

"You stole our memories!" Cole stated.

"You left us in the mouth of an Active Volcano!" Kai added.

"You sent the Serpentine and Nindroids after us!" Jay continued.

"You attempted to open the ethereal divide and return Chen's Army back from the Cursed Realm!" Zane reminded.

"You brainwashed my mother!" Lydie said with a fierce glare.

"So you're still upset." Ronin said nervously as he walked up to his desk and placed the vase down. "Let me make it up to you." He said as he pressed a button under his desk. "Aha!" He called before a vengestone net fell from the ceiling, but it closed itself as it got tangled in the ceiling while the Ninja gave an unamused look at Ronin. "Uh, that was a mistake. I can explain that." He said nervously.

"Save it, Ronin. Nothing about you is legit." Lydie stated as she raised her Bo staff and they approached him. "Like this pawn shop."

"Yeah, I bet your goons and that Airship of yours isn't too far either." Jay said with a smirk, moving it aside. "What do you call it again? Rilo? Ruby?"

"R.E.X." Ronin corrected as he fixed some shelves. "And could you have a little sympathy? I sold her so I could buy this place." He explained. "Since you Ninja ruined my big score my guys left me high and dry. As you can see, I'm trying to make an honest living."

"Honest enough to steal the Scroll of Airjitzu?" Kai questioned.

"The Scroll of Who-whatzu?" Ronin questioned in confusion.

"Airjitzu, you crook." Lydie corrected with a glare.

"It can make a Spinjitzu Master fly." Jay added as Cole picked up an abacus.

"Yeah. So hand it over or we're gonna make you fly." Cole threatened as he threw the abacus, which sent through a wall, leaving a hole shape of it.

"Hey! Watch it!" Ronin snapped.

"I-I didn't mean to throw it that hard." Cole said in shock as he looked at his hands. "Your powers really give a kick, Lydie." He whispered.

"Even I'm shocked." Lydie whispered.

"Cool down, fellas." Ronin said after collecting himself. "Even if I had such a thing, it sounds pretty old and important. Definitely not something I keep on site. And definitely too much for you to afford." He said as he walked up to the weaponry shelf. "Maybe I can interest you in some unique weaponry? I've got jade blades, obsidian armor." He offered.

"Have anything that can vanquish ghosts?" Zane asked, which got Ronin's attention.

"Mm, ghosts you say?" Ronin asked in thought.

"Yeah. They hate water." Cole stated. "But we're not looking for water balloons. We need something reliable."

Ronin then gave a smirk as he went up to another weapon shelf. "Hmm, what you're looking for is an Aeroblade, forged by deepstone, an aquatic material mined from the bottom of the ocean." He explained as he held up a big black blade that is shaped like a shuriken. "Very unique. Even more expensive." He said with a smirk.

"Argh, can't you see he's giving us the runaround?!" Kai questioned as he grabbed Ronin by the shoulder and pin him to the wall. "We want the scroll, Ronin. What do you want for it?" He demanded.

"Two hundred." Ronin answered with a smile.

"Two hundred?! You gotta be kidding me!" Lydie exclaimed.

"Yeah, we don't have that kind of dough!" Jay stated.

"Come on, you boys had the Golden Weapons," Ronin smirked, walking up to them, "You honestly telling me you never pinch anyone?"

"No! We don't pinch! And we don't even have pockets." Kai pointed out.

"What if we were to tell you all of Ninjago depends on it?" Cole asked.

"Well then, that changes everything." Ronin said with a smile. "Four hundred."

"Argh, you can't just double the price!" Jay exclaimed.

"My shop, my rules." Ronin said with a smirk as the Ninja huddled together.

"Alright, so my gut says…" Lydie said before Cole spoke up.

"What do you think, Zane?" Cole asked.

"Oh, right, Zane's the leader." Lydie said with a dull look.

"Well, I say we get him what he wants." Zane suggested. "I sense if we won't, Morro will."

Lydie groaned as she pushed the boys aside. "Alright, but let me negotiate with Ronin first." She said as she stepped forward.

"So, what will it be, sweetheart?" Ronin asked with a smirk as Lydie stood quiet with a straight face, before Lydie grabbed him by the neck collar and put him close to her face. "Whoa! Easy there!"

"Listen here you one-eyed mom control memory whipping-con artist." Lydie growled in a low tone, which made Ronin a bit afraid while the boys backed away. "My brother is being controlled by an evil spirit. My grandfather's tomb is at risk of being discredited. And to top it all off, if we don't get that scroll, all of Ninjago will be endangered and you're standing here in front of me saying you're okay with all that only if you get 400?!" She demanded.

Ronin looked at Lydie in fear while the boys were impressed as Ronin stammered. "Uh, I mean, uh, w-when you put it that way…" He muttered with a nervous smile. "Perhaps I could sell it for… 500?" He offered hopefully.

Lydie's eye twitched as she growled like a mad dog while her eyes glowed bright purple, "You know, she's actually doing a lot better than I thought she would," Kai commented casually.

"But I don't think that's gonna last, considering." Jay said with a nervous look.

Just then, outside of Stiixs, the pawn shop could be seen going high into the sky with a very familiar purple light. "GRRRAAAAHHHH!" Lydie's voice yelled out as the pawn shop crashed back down into the ground with a thud and a splash.

A bit later, the Ninja all exited the pawn shop, which is giving off a smoke. "Even though your powers weaken, your temper's still explosive." Cole commented.

"Cole, I'm not in the mood." Lydie muttered with a ticked off look. "Do you really wanna try me right now?" She questioned with a deadly glare.

"Uh, no. Just saying." Cole said with a nervous look.

"On the plus side, at least Ronin agrees to lower the price thanks to our master negotiator." Jay joked with a chuckle.

"Yeah, by 5 percent." Kai said with a dull look.

"At least it's better than your negotiation skills, Kai!" Lydie retorted as she walked ahead with a groan.

"Now to figure out how to make some money." Zane said.

Back in the pawn shop, smoke was still going off but the items were still intact as Ronin gave a cough. "I've forgotten never to make the daughter of Lord Garmadon angry." He said to himself as he looked around the shop. "At least my shop is still in one piece." He muttered before he looked at the vase and took out the Scroll of Airjitzu while noticing a map part.

Ronin then sighed solemnly as he looked to a picture of him next to a woman and a little girl, "Just hang on kid, just a little more and I'll see you again," Ronin said, looking at the kid before he put the scroll back as he put it back in the vase, kept hidden.

Back at Steep Wisdom, Nya was balancing on a rock, wearing her swimsuit, while Wu was drinking tea by the waterfalls while Rose took a meditative stance on a tree stump with a bamboo staff in her hands. While Demir was balancing on a metal slab on an iron-ore rock. "Your training to become the new masters of Water, Metal, and Nature begins now." He said as he took a sip.

"Rose, to become Nature, you must embrace its attributes, fluid and steady growth, the willingness to provide and care for others, and the resilience to never stop at either." He told while holding a lotus blossom the blonde girl as she took deep breaths, feeling the stump she was sitting on. "Just the tealeaves provide us tea to drink, and trees bare fruit to eat, you will provide Ninja a new means to protect itself," He continued before Rose jumped and balanced on her stick.

"I believe I'm starting to understand it now." Rose smiled. "So long as I follow you I can do it,"

"Speak for yourself, this is like trying to surf without the surf," Demir said as he focused on keeping his balance.

"To become Metal, Demir, you must embrace what makes it unique. Metal is strong but also versatile. Able to endure even the greatest heat or the most powerful force but also able to shift and model into powerful and useful tools," Wu wisely said as he rolled a ball of metal in his hand.

Demir then looked at the ball in wonder. "Do you always carry a metal ball around with you?" He asked in confusion.

"Of course. For training purposes." Wu answered with a nod. "While it can weigh you down, in the right hands strength can be greater than any speed."

"But in the wrong hands?" Demir asked.

"It slows one down and weakens you to a fragile state. Which is why you must be solid within before you are solid without," Wu said as he then tossed the metal ball to Demir.

"W-Whoa!" Demir called as he quickly caught the metal ball, barely keeping his balance as he carried it. "Okay, I think I see that now." He said as he kept hold of the ball to prevent himself from dropping it.

"Good." Wu nodded as he then turned to Nya. "Nya, to become water, you must find its qualities within yourself. While Metal is strong and Nature is fluid. Water can be both strong and fluid." He said as he saw a water drop fall. "Over time, it's strong enough to carve this rock. Or if I use my cup to stop its flow." He said as he picked up his cup and put it on the waterfall, filling it with water. "It can adapt. It's flexible. Shapeless. You put water in a cup, it becomes the cup." He then poured the water into his teapot. "You put it into a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Be water, Nya. On your hands!" He called as Demir, Rose, and Nya did a handstand while Demir balanced on one hand.

"Very good." Wu nodded in approval. "Your predecessors would be proud." He complimented.

"I hate to break it to you, but sometimes elemental powers can skip a generation." Nya said while seeing a fish in the pond while keeping her handstand. "Maybe you're wrong about me." She grunted as she tried to keep herself balanced. "I mean, Demir and Rose, you're right. But me, not so much. If the ninja so desperately needs my help along with Demir and Rose, isn't it best if I'm Samurai X?"

"Samurai X cannot do Spinjitzu." Wu said as he then did Spinjitzu over the pond and skillfully went to dry land. "And Samurai X cannot unlock her own Elemental Dragon." He added as he then focused as his hands glow golden as he then moved in formation as the dust created an Elemental Dragon with Wu's colors and features as it gave a roar as Wu chuckled as he petted his Elemental Dragon.

"Whoa-ho-ho-ho! Awesome!" Demir complimented.

"Incredible." Rose added with a smile.

"You never told us you could do that!" Nya said in shock, not knowing that Wu can summon an Elemental Dragon as well.

"A sensei never tells." Wu said as he snapped his fingers as his dragon disappeared. "Besides, water is the only weapon against a ghost." He revealed, which surprised the three. "For though they can pass through solid objects, they cannot pass through what never stands still. What's flexible to us is rigid to them. And since the Ninja no longer control their elemental powers, it's all but imperative that you three go with the flow. One hand!" He said, throwing his cup to Nya as she caught it.

"And how do we do 'go with the flow' exactly?" Rose questioned with a brow.

"To find your full potential, we must find what makes you three weak, for in your weakness…" Wu started as he tossed a lotus in the air.

"Lies strength?" Demir finished. "Got it."

"Well, I don't mean to boast, but I'm pretty good at everything I pick up." Nya said with a smirk. "Can you even count the number of times I had to rescue the boys and Lydie?"

"I can count the number of times others had to rescue you, specifically scenarios that involve you wearing little to no clothing," Wu shot back.

Nya flinched with a light blush while Demir and Rose were surprised by that. "Wait, seriously?" Demir asked with a chuckle before he yelped when he nearly lost his balance.

"I believe that Jay certainly appreciated those moments," Rose teased with a giggle. "Does it happen frequently?"

"U-Uh, mostly. But that's not what I meant, Sensei!" Nya said in embarrassment.

"I know, Nya." Wu said as he picked up a bucket. "Your merits don't go unnoticed. But by the end of the day, we will find your flaw." He promised.

"Wait, what about us?" Demir asked in confusion. "Don't we need to find out what holds us back?"

"Oh, I already know what's holding both of you and Rose back, Demir." Wu said as he kept inspecting the bucket.

"Really?" Rose asked in shock. "How?"

"Your body language from how you got your powers and when you asked to work in Steep Wisdom gives it away." Wu said as he looked at Demir. "Demir, you lack the confidence you need to become one of the best. Thinking you're not good enough while trying to prove yourself and think you're failing."

"W-Well, that's not, I mean," Demir stammered before he sighed. "Yes. I guess that's true. I mean, you Ninja are one of the best of the best, I don't know a guy like me can even compete."

"Anyone can be the best if they keep trying. You must find the confidence within yourself to achieve it." Wu wisely said as Demir nodded as he then turned to Rose. "And Rose, you hail from a wealthy family, in which every choice in your life was made for you and has led you to success."

"W-Wait. How did you-?" Rose said in complete surprise.

"A sensei never tells," Wu said before he continued. "You wanted to have a life for yourself, make your own choices, but you weren't brave enough to choose for yourself and allowed your parents to choose for you."

Rose gave a sigh. "Well, I never really had anything for myself. And talking to my parents can be a bit hard to do when they're the ones making the choices in life." She said sadly.

"Which is why you must find the courage to carve your own destiny. For if you keep letting others tell you what to do, you'll never find your own purpose." Wu wisely said.

"Yes, Sensei." Rose nodded.

"For you, Nya, while I do have promising theories, I am still uncertain. But by the end of today, we will find your flaw." Wu said as Nya nodded. "Before then, the bucket test!" He called as he tossed the bucket to Nya, who swiftly placed the teacup onto a lily pad and stood up as she caught the bucket.

"The bucket test?" Nya repeated in confusion as she looked at the bucket.

"Simple: fill it with water." Wu answered as he walked off while stroking his beard. "When it is completely full, your training today is done." He instructed.

"That simple, huh?" Demir asked as Nya scoop up some water but then saw there was a hole at the bottom as the water drained, "Okay, not so simple."

"I said it was simple, not easy." Wu spoke up. "Go with the flow." He recited as the three looked off to where Wu went off to.

"This could be a while." Rose said with a cringed as Nya groaned.

"I'd rather take care of little kids than do this all day," Nya said as she tried to find a way to keep her bucket full.

A bit later back in Stiix, the Ninja went up to a construction worker at an unfinished dock. "Oh, glad you five showed up." The man said with a smile. "Even with a hundred coins a head, I couldn't find anyone willing to go out there and complete the dock."

"Er, I don't know, we have to work over water?" Kai said nervously.

"Ain't the water you gotta be careful of, it's strangleweed." The man said as he saw a support beam a bit far getting tangled by strangleweed. "Grabs a hold of you and doesn't let go. But I could use a good team. How about it?"

"Just remind yourself after we complete this, we'll be able to buy the scroll." Zane whispered to them with a smile.

"Though I would recommend putting Fried Chicken here on crane control," Lydie gestured to Kai, knowing he would be too scared to help on the water.

"I like that idea, let's do that." Kai nodded, feeling a bit better before he realized what Lydie just said. "Hey, I am not Fried Chicken!" He retorted as Lydie blew a raspberry at him.

Zane then stepped forward before an argument started. "We'll do it!" He said.

A bit later, Kai was on the crane while the rest were on the unfinished dock. "Keep your eyes on the prize!" Zane called as Kai lowered a pillar down. "Let's bring it in slowly." He instructed before Lydie, Cole, and Jay put in woodplanks down. "Come on, guys. One team, one dream!"

"Hey!" They all said as they placed more planks down while Kai lowered another pillar as Zane kept an eye out for strangleweeds as he used his shurikens to cut them while Jay, Lydie, and Cole hammered the planks down.

"Let's do it again!" Zane called with a smile.

"Hey!" They all called as they placed more pillars and planks down while Zane kept clearing the path.

"There's nothing to it! Let's do it!" Zane cheered.

"Hey!" They called again and continued building the docks.

"Oh, would you look at that? What a team." The construction worker said with an awed look at the Ninja teamwork.

Zane cut another strangleweed. "Excellent!" He said before a fly started flying around, which he tried to swat before it flew into his mouth as the others looked at Zane in confusion.

"Zane, is something wrong?" Lydie asked in concern.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Kai asked himself as he saw Zane's hand gestures. "You want me to swing it. Okay, you're the leader!" He called out as he swung the pillar which the others saw.

"Zane, look out!" Cole shouted.

"Behind you!" Jay shouted next.

"Duck!" Lydie called before Zane was hit by the pillar, which made the three cringed before Zane was swung back into his pillar.

" .enif m'I .gnikrow trats dna pu tilps s'teL" Zane said as the three looked at him in confusion while he was just as surprised, "?Eciov ym htiw gnorw s'tahw, tiaW ?Laxip" He said again.

"It appears your entire language database is damaged, and there's nothing I can do." Pixal analyze with a guilt look, understanding what Zane is saying since she's in his head before Zane noticed a Strangleweed coming up.

"!tuo HctaW! eewelgnartS !eloC" Zane pointed to them.

"Okay that is about a thousand times weirder than usual." Lydie said with a brow.

"What's wrong with him?" Cole wondered

"I don't know. I think he's talking backwards." Jay shrugged. "Slow down! We can't understand you!" He said to Zane.

"!deewelgnartS !deewelgnartS" Zane called a bit slowly for them as he pointed to the Strangleweed.

"Deewelgnarts? Wait, that's backwards for," Lydie started, realizing what Zane was trying to say.

"Ah!" Cole shouted when he saw his foot get caught in Strangleweed. "Strangleweed! It's got me!" He cried out as Lydie and Jay tried to help him free while Zane waved his arms and Kai looked down in confusion.

"You want me to drop it?" Kai asked in confusion before he smiled. "Alright!" he called as he then moved the pillar forward as he gave a whistle while Jay and Lydie were still trying to pull Cole free. Zane quickly brought out his shuriken to cut it free, which he did, but then Kai dropped the pillar, causing the dock to fall apart. The others all raced back to the other end just as the dock completely collapsed right to what it was before.

Kai came down as he saw the mess as he turned to the worker with a sheepish look. "So, heh, how about getting paid?" He asked as the construction worker growled.

A bit later, they are in an alley as Jay begins to work on checking Zane's voice. "Ah. His voice mod's on the fritz. I can fix it, but it's gonna take time." Jay said to them.

"?ti si ,dab taht ton s'tI" Zane asked.

"I think he's asking 'it's not that bad, is it?'" Kai translated,

"And sorry to tell you this Tin-man, but it's gonna be hard to follow a leader who speaks backwards." Lydie said sympathetically as Zane sighed. "No money, no scroll, and it couldn't come at the worst time. We'll never save Lloyd now." She sighed sadly.

"What are you, a bunch of quitters?" Jay questioned them. "Sure, we can't understand Zane and did we ever? So what if Kai's afraid of water, a little fear never stopped us. And Lydie in a bad mood is the last person I'd wanna follow." He started off.

"Hey!" Lydie said in offense.

"But now, I'm in charge! We may not have the money to buy the scroll but I say we don't need it." Jay said with a smirk.

"And why is that?" Cole questioned.

"Cause we're gonna steal it!" Jay answered.

"What?!/!?tahW" The other exclaimed in shock.

"Jay, we're Ninja, not thieves!" Cole stated.

"Yeah, but we're stealing from a thief." Jay said to them. Haven't you ever heard, two wrongs make a right."

"Uh, Jay, I don't think that's how it goes." Kai pointed out.

".'thgir a ekam t'nod gnorw oot' s'tI" Zane said.

"Shut it, Mush Mouth. I'm the leader and what I say goes." Jay said firmly as Lydie sighed.

"I doubt this will work, but what's the plan, Mr. leader?" Lydie sarcastically questioned.

"After Ronin locks up tonight, we steal the Scroll of Airjitzu!" Jay said to them.

"And then we return it to the Library of Domu," Lydie added.

"After we learn Airjitzu from it, of course." Jay finished quickly.

"Excellent idea, but do you even know where Ronin even kept the scroll in his shop?" Lydie questioned with her hands on her hips.

"Uh, we'll search the whole place until we find it, of course! Let's get ready for tonight!" Jay said as they all nodded.

At night on a mountain top, Morro was looking out to the city of Stiix as he then focused his energy into the Allied Armor as a ghost with a bow and quiver came out, "You summoned me, Morro? The Master was hopeful you were able to do this alone," The Ghost told him.

Morro panted while on his knees. "Trust me, Soul Archer, I was, but there was a delay." He said as he took a breath. "I need help to procure the first clue that will lead me to the tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master. Ronin has the Scroll of Airjitzu. And I fear the Ninja are already ahead of me."

"Ronin you say?" Soul Archer questioned, familiar with that name, "He owes me a large debt. I may be able to convince him to relinquish it." He said.

"But he's on Stiix." Morro said while pointing to the village ahead.

"The village built on water?" Soul Archer questioned before Morro took a knee. "You seem weak, boy."

"This armor, it weakens me with each ghost I summon." Morro said in exhaustion. "At the same time Lloyd is fighting my possession."

"Then let my bow give you strength and point the way." Soul Archer said as he aimed his arrow and fired it, with the tip having a ghostly ghoul as it hit the sign of Stiix's, turning it into a ghost figure. "Tonight, we will take what's ours." He promised.

"Master will be pleased." Morro said with a smirk.

"Speaking of which, she had a message for you Morro," Soul Archer said as Morro turned to him, "She will not tolerate failure," He warned seriously.

"Don't worry, I haven't failed yet." Morro said with determination. "Once I get the scroll, we'll be one step closer."

"We shall see." Soul Archer mused as the two looked down towards Stiix.

Back at Steep Wisdom, Rose and Demir watch as Nya still tries to fill the bucket up with water as Wu walks up from behind them. "She's been doing that since this morning and it always ends the same way," Demir told the old man.

"But I believe she's done it this time," Rose said confidently.

Nya then filled the bucket up as she jumped onto the rocks and onto land as she walked up to them. "There. Bucket's full! Not so hard." She said as she showed the bucket to Wu.

Wu looked at the bucket as he saw some droplets falling from the hole as he looked inside and saw that Nya put a cloth in the hole as the water drained slowly. "The bucket is not full. Try again." He instructed while walking away.

Nya moaned hopelessly. "This is impossible!" She cried out.

"This is not impossible. This is about thinking outside the bucket." Wu said as he continued to walk off. "Going with the flow. Finding where you are weak.

"I'm not weak! This bucket is weak!" Nya yelled as she held up the bucket and kicked it away as it fell into the pond. "I've been trying to fill the bucket all day! It's never gonna happen!" She ranted as Wu walked up to Misako and Irene as they, Demir, and Rose watched Nya rant. "Face it, I'm not a Water Ninja, I'm a samurai! This is pointless!" She snapped as she paced around in a huff. "I filled the bucket!"

"Well, it seems her brother's not the only one with a temper." Rose muttered.

"It appears the day was a waste." Misako noted.

"I think you pushed her too far, Wu." Irene said to him.

"On the contrary, I've finally discovered her weakness, feeling weak." Wu said as they watched Nya go.

"I'm good at everything else, why do I have to be good at filling buckets?! Go with the flow?! I'll show you how I go!" Nya yelled and paced around behind the group as they walked up to the lake.

"Wait, feeling weak is what now?" Demir asked in confusion.

"Nya is good at so many things that when put into a difficult position she gives up and chooses the easier path," Wu explained to them, "And because of Nya's temper she doesn't even realize she successfully completed her task."

Hearing this stopped Nya's rant and turned to Wu, "What? But I've been taking that bucket in and out of the lake for hours and it still ends up empty," She stated.

Rose and Demir looked down into the lake as their eyes widened, "Well, I think it's full now." Demir commented, pointing to the lake.

Nya looked down as she saw a fish go through the bucket, which made her realize something. "Wait, I could've just left the bucket in the lake this whole time?!" She said in complete shock.

"Your task was to fill the bucket with water from the lake, I never said it had to leave the lake," Wu told her.

"Clever," Rose complimented.

"I don't believe it. The answer was right under my nose this whole time," Nya said, stunned while rubbing her head, "Why didn't I think of that sooner?"

"Sometimes the most intelligent are blind to the simpler solutions." Wu said to her as Nya groaned.

"I'm starting to see why Lydie has a problem with your words of wisdom." Nya said with a look.

"It is a gift." Wu said with a trolling grin as the others chuckled while Nya groaned.

Back at Stiix, the Ninja were sneaking across the rooftops, "Remember, I'm in charge, we're not stealing the scroll, we're returning it to the library, after we learn Airjitzu." Jay reminded them.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night," Cole told him with a look

"And we're ninja. Let's keep it quiet." Jay whispered.

"Ninja, go. ajniN" They all said quietly as they all jumped from one roof top to the next on their way to Ronin's pawn shop.

But then as Jay climbed up, the roof caved in underneath him and he fell into the house while the others heard a lady scream, "Oops, uh sorry ma'am!" Jay apologized before they heard a smack, "Ow!"

"Get out of here, you Blue Creeper!" The woman demanded as Jay climbed back up while nursing his cheek.

"That wasn't very silent, Jay." Kai snickered.

"Let's try and be a little more quiet, shall we?" Jay said in embarrassment as he stood back up. "Last I remember, we're ninja."

"Whatever you say, Blue Creeper," Lydie teased as she and the three boys chuckled as Jay groaned before he jumped ahead.

At the pawn shop, Ronin whistled happily to himself as he was about to close shop, but then he saw the Soul Archer's reflection in the window beside him as he aimed his arrow at him. "Huh? Soul Archer. I-I thought I was gonna have more time." Ronin said with a nervous smile. "I-I'm still a little short. Funny story, you see I was gonna get your money but then these Ninja-"

"I'll return for your debt later." Soul Archer said, which made Ronin sigh in relief. "But for now, I came for something else." He said, narrowing his eyes and walking towards Ronin, keeping his arrow ready.

"Uh, if this is about our last-" Ronin backed away nervously before he bumped into Morro, which made him yelp. "Aah!" He said before Morro took off his hood. "Lloyd, you're a little late. Your sister was just here." He said, thinking that was Lloyd before he saw the features he has. "Or should I call you by another name?" He questioned, remembering what Lydie told him about Lloyd being possessed.

"The Ninja." The Soul Archer said as he lowered his weapon as Morro looked for the scroll. "They were already here."

"Where's the Scroll of Airjitzu?" Morro questioned Ronin with a glare.

"The Scroll of Who-whatzu?" Ronin asked, playing dumb before he saw the Allied Armor. "Hey, love the armor. A little dinged up, but I'll make you a fair offer." He said before Morro growled and grabbed him by his chest. "Aah! I'll tell you what I told the Ninja, it's not here! But I can get it for 500?" He offered with a nervous smile.

"Jay, you're supposed to pick the lock, not bite it off." They heard Kai say.

"Hey, if my powers didn't have the risk of zapping all of us, I'd zap the lock off, after I zap you!" Jay stated agitatedly.

"HEL-" Ronin tried to call before Morro covered his mouth.

"Hide, we'll let them find it and then we'll take it," Morro told Soul Archer as they took Morro and hid.

The Ninja then dropped down from above and landed in the shop, "Gotta love skylights," Lydie commented, "But now we're on the hook for breaking and entering," She added as they looked around.

"I don't like sneaking around the dark any more than you do, so let's just find the scroll and get out of here." Kai said as he looked through a shelf.

"Hey, when you guys were leaders, you never heard me complain. And if you don't like sneaking around, why become a ninja?" Jay whispered harshly before Lydie grabbed a ball and threw it at Jay's head. "Ow! Hey!" He whispered.

"Dude, I kept notes of the times you complain." Lydie said with a brow.

"I do not complain that much!" Jay said as he then looked at the vase, but instead of looking in it, he lifted up and looked on the floor. "And leave no stone unturned."

Ronin was tied up and gagged, mumbling in protest, "Not a word," Morro warned as Soul Archer stepped out.

"Look, the faster we find the Scroll, the faster we can get to my Grandfather's tomb, stop Morro, save Lloyd and then go back to me leading the charge," Lydie said as Soul Archer snuck up behind her as she pulled a tarp off an organ.

"I found it!" Cole shouted.

"You found the Scroll?" Lydie said hopefully as she turned to Cole, not seeing Soul Archer possessing the Organ.

"No, but I found my dad's Bladecup trophy, and I'm taking it back. He and mom danced hard for this." Cole answered, holding up the Bladecup.

Soul Archer then moved the pipes of the organ over Lydie and grabbed her as it started playing haunting music. "AAH! Holy pipes! The organ's got me!" She yelled out in horror.

"Uh, ah! It's possessed by a ghost!" Cole cried out nervously.

"I-I forgot what we're supposed to do!" Jay cried out in panic.

"Water, you idiots! WATER!" Lydie reminded them of the ghost's weakness. "One of you hurry and find some water!"

"I got water, Captain!" Kai called as he picked up a flower in a vase, but when he tossed it, it revealed to be a product with a banjo playing. "Hey, these flowers are fake!"

"We're in a village built entirely over water! So please, take your time, boys!" Lydie shouted with a look while trying to get free while Kai and Cole tossed their items to Zane, who caught them.

"Hey, we're trying our best here!" Jay retorted as Cole then saw some water in a drink machine.

"Aha!" Cole called as he took the jug and tossed it to the organs, which the Soul Archer quickly got out before the water it, freeing Lydie as the Soul Archer went behind a door.

"!sdneirf s'orroM fo eno rehtonA" Zane spoke up.

"I think he said, 'Another one of Morro's friends.'" Kai translated as Morro came out from the doorway.

"And there's more where that came from!" Morro called as he used the Allied Armor and summoned more ghosts as they circled the Ninja.

"We're gonna need more water!" Cole shouted as Zane threw the flower pot and Bladecup, but they went through the ghosts as the Ninja dodged each one.

"Water, or something associated with water!" Lydie said as Ronin came from behind her, still tied up.

"Cut me free!" Ronin said to her as Lydie avoided a ghost.

"Not until you give me the scroll." Lydie said as she and Ronin duck from an incoming ghost. "You know you're not the only one to make deals."

"Then at least take an Aeroblade and get rid of a few of these ghosts." Ronin said while gesturing to the Areoblades beside them.

"You said they were hard to come by." Lydie reminded him with a teasing look as they dodged each ghosts attacks.

"I'm a businessman, that was business." Ronin said to her as they kept dodging. "This is personal. Now cut me free!"

Lydie then picked up an Areoblade with the center of it purple. "Not until we check out the merchandise!" She called as she threw the Areoblade, which glowed purple as it went through a ghost, which went poof from contact. "Huh? They work! Boys, try these!" She called as she tossed each Areoblade to the boys, Jay got a yellow one, Kai got a red one, Cole got a brown one, and Zane got an icy blue one.

The Ninja then tossed each Areoblades, which they hit each ghosts as they went poof as the ghosts went on the defensive now that the battle had turned as Jay gave a laugh. "Now who's scared of who?" Jay taunted as he threw his Areoblade, which poofed a ghost but Ronin used it to cut the ropes as he got free and he and Morro started holding each other back.

"Where is the scroll?!" Morro demanded as he pushed Morro back a bit, which he did the same.

"You'll never find it!" Ronin called before he kicked Morro back, which made him crash into the vase as the scroll sent flying as it landed next to Ronin.

"The Scroll!" The Ninja called out.

"And only one of us shall possess it!" Morro declared before Ronin snatched the scroll.

"Yeah me!" Ronin said before he whistled as the pawn shop shook. Then suddenly, Ronin's ship appeared, going through the ground as Ronin held onto the side as he flew up through the roof.

"Hah! I told you his ship wasn't far!" Jay bragged.

"Sorry to leave you hanging, but since this scroll's so important I can't just give it away!" Ronin called out, but then Morro used his wind power to knock him off his ship, causing Ronin to scream as he fell and hit a fw buildings as he landed on the ground. He looked up as he gave a weak whistle, but his ship was already out of range.

Ronin groaned before he saw a couple of ghosts heading towards him. He got up and quickly drew his own Areoblade as he threw it and took out the floor's supports, which caused the two ghosts, not having enough time to react to fall into the water and went poof.

Ronin caught his blade before he saw the Ninja and Morro rushing towards him before he then made a run for it while he parkour up the buildings.

Back in the pawn shop, the Soul Archer stood up as he aimed his arrow to the sky. "Run, run, run away. My arrow will find you anyway." He taunted as he fired his arrow, which flew out of the pawn shop and turned left.

The arrow flew around Stiix as Ronin saw it heading towards him as he narrowly avoided the arrow. But he knew he couldn't outrun it as he quickly picked up a sign and blocked the arrow as it hit its target. Ronin quickly tossed the sign away before it was completely ghostified.

"That was close." Ronin said in relief as he held the scroll.

"But so am I." Morro said as he came up behind Ronin and took the scroll as he rushed off while Ronin was too tired to chase after him.

The Ninja watches from the roof. "Ah, no! Morro's got the scroll! We can't let him get away!" Jay called out as they stood up and jumped after Morro through the rooftops.

"He won't outrun the five of us!" Cole said, but then Jay went through the roof again as he fell into the building.

"Aah! Not again!" The woman from earlier yelled.

"Scratch that, guess it's just the four of us!" Cole shouted as they continued their chase after Morro through the rooftops.

Morro then reached a huge gap as he saw four cables in front of him as he ripped one out and swung across the gap to the next building as he continued off. Lydie, Cole, and Kai followed after with the remaining cables as they swung across.

But Zane was left behind since there's no more cables for him to swing on. ".etanutrofnu s'tahT" He muttered as he gave a sigh.

"Looks like it's just the three of us now." Lydie said as she, Kai, and Cole continued their chase after Morro as he jumped over another gab and caught the edge of the roof, losing his grip on the scroll before he quickly caught it as he tried to get up.

The three remaining Ninja jumped after Morro as they saw him climbing up the roof as they quickly caught the edge, but Kai and Cole lost their grip as they fell off the roof and landed on a bench with groans.

"Go, Lydie!" Cole groaned.

"Get Morro!" Kai groaned next.

Lydie nodded as she continued her chase after Morro. They soon went to the docks they were working on as she saw Morro jumping on each pillar. "Oh boy, good thing Kai isn't here." She said as she jumped after Morro.

Morro turned to Lydie as he tauntingly waved the scroll to her. Lydie growled as she kept jumping one pillar after Morro, getting farther away from the village before Lydie gave a determined look as she continued to chase after Morro before she balanced on another pillar.

Lydie then gave a huge jump just when she was about to catch Morro, but Morro jumped off before she could catch him as Lydie managed to grab hold of the pillar as she watched Morro use his wind to give him a boost to the lone pillar ahead as he gave a victorious laugh.

"Hey! No fair!" Lydie yelled out with a glare as she stood on her pillar as Morro opened up the scroll, reading the instructions before Lydie noticed a map at the back of it. "What? A Map?" She muttered before she nearly slipped from the pillar as she stood up as Strangleweed started coming towards her.

"What's the matter? Can't swim?" Morro taunted as he put the scroll away as more Strangleweed went up to Lydie. Morro then did a few movements as wind circled around him before he was in a green sphere before he flew up, which made Lydie look up as she saw Morro doing Airjitzu before summoning his dragon with a roar. "Looks like the better ninja won!" He taunted as he flew off before grabbing the Soul Archer as they flew off into the distance.

"NO!" Lydie yelled out in frustration before she turned and saw Ronin flying in.

"Looks like you could use a lift," Ronin said, kicking down a ladder but before Lydie could climb up he pulled it out of reach, "Ah-ah-ah, nothing in life comes for free!" He teased with a smirk.

"Why you dirty, sleevy, greedy old Crow! I don't have any money right now!" Lydie yelled in anger as the strangleweed started wrapping up to her. "I don't even have pockets! Can't you even see it!?"

"Everyone got something!" Ronin called out. "'Cause of you, my shop's destroyed!"

"We didn't destroy your shop! You're stupid ship did!" Lydie retorted.

"Hey, you insult R.E.X then it's your loss." Ronin said as he walked to the cockpit.

Lydie then screamed out in frustration making Ronin turn back to see tears streaming down her face, "I could have cared less that I gave you a sea gold right now you Crook! Because Morro just got away with my only hope of saving my brother! I promised my father I'd protect him, and I, I failed!" Lydie sobbed as she looked to Ronin pleadingly, "Can you even imagine how painful that is?"

Ronin looked down at Lydie for a moment, seeing how broken and hopeless she was feeling while also feeling shocked by what she said as he looked at copy of the picture of him and the woman and little girl on the windshield as he remembered an all too familiar pain as he sighs. "I can," He muttered to himself before kicking down the ladder, "Climb on,"

"W-What?" Lydie asked as the strangleweed kept going at her.

"Hurry! There's not much time!" Ronin called as Lydie didn't have to be told twice as she quickly grabbed hold of the ladder as Ronin flew his ship up as they flew off and away from the ocean. "In life there's always second chances, and when you see a chance to make things right, you take it." He told Lydie, keeping his eyes forward.

"W-What are you saying?" Lydie asked, clearing her eyes.

"What if I told you, there might be another way to learn that Air-what-su?" Ronin asked, glancing back at her.

Lydie's eyes widened from that. "Please, tell me! We need to learn Airjitzu before Morro gets one step further than us!" She said to him,

"You wanna learn something, then go to the expert," Ronin told her which made Lydie look at him in wonder.

Back in Stiix, the boys are sitting on a lone table, looking defeated. "Ugh, so after all this, Morro gets Airjitzu and we're left with zip?" Jay questioned in defeat. "I hate being the leader, but I hate losing even more."

".eerga I." Zane said to him.

"I think what Zane is saying, he agrees to this." Kai said with a sigh. "Lydie makes it look so easy." He said before they looked up and saw R.E.X. with Ronin and Lydie inside coming towards them.

"We didn't lose everything. At least Lydie's okay." Cole said optimistically. "Tomorrow, I'll take command, and we'll figure something out." He said as they all watched, Lydie exited Ronin's ship.

"Thanks for the pick-me-up, Ronin. And thank you for the tip," Lydie said gratefully to him.

"Remember what I said about second chances, and I'm gonna hold you to that deal." Ronin said with a smile. "So long, and I hope you get your brother back." He said before he took off into the horizon as Lydie went up to the boys.

"Second chances?" Cole asked in confusion. "What did he mean by that?" He asked Lydie.

"And what deal?" Kai asked in wonder.

"We may have lost the Scroll, but Ronin told me there is one other way to learn Airjitzu," Lydie told them with a smile.

"Really? Another way?" Kai cheered.

"We're still gonna fly?" Jay cheered next.

".swen taerg si sihT" Zane said in elation.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a sec!" Cole spoke up as he stood up. "Ronin only makes deals in his favor, and you're not a great negotiator when you're in a mood. And you also hated Ronin after what happened with Misako."

"Lydie, what did you give him?" Jay questioned as the boy all looked at her.

Lydie rubbed the back of her head, "Okay, don't get mad but I might have kinda sorta gave him…my share of the tea farm alongwithallofyours?" She squeaked with a nervous toothy smile.

"You WHAT?!" Jay snapped.

"All our Shares?!" Kai demanded.

"Wu's gonna flip!" Cole yelled.

"!swen elbirroh s'tahT" Zane blabbered.

"I did what I had to!" Lydie snapped back as she faced them. "And for my brother, I'd do it again. And don't think you guys wouldn't do the same thing if it meant saving him or me."

The four Ninja looked down, knowing that she was right. "You're right." Cole said in understanding. "But I have to ask, if Morro has the only scroll, how are we gonna learn Airjitzu?" He wondered.

Lydie gave a smirk as she looked out to the night sky. "Let's just say, it's not gonna be easy. We have a ghost of a chance." She finished with a determined look, "Pack your bags boys, we're heading to the Haunted Temple of Master Yang."

"The WHAT?!/!?TAHW ehT" The boy exclaimed in freight. The Ninja may have lost the scroll to Morro, but thanks to Ronin, they had a chance of learning Airjitzu, even if it meant going to a haunted temple, but they'll do anything to save Lloyd.
