Sammy was still awake. He didn't quite know why. He looked around his room using his flashlight. There was the closet to the front of him. He looked at the doors on both sides of the room. He checked under the bed. Nothing there. He looked around his room another time. There were some toys on the floor. A toy phone was on the left of the closet.
Then there were his stuffed animals. The ones he had were of the different animatronics his dad worked on. There was Rocky, Skye, Marshall, and Zuma. He loved Golden Rocky. He never went anywhere without it.
Sammy heard pawsteps in the left hallway. He got out of bed, and went to the door. He didn't hear anything. He peeked out. It was too dark to see anything. He turned on his flashlight. What he saw was horrifying. In the hall was Zuma, but bigger, scary, and with sharp teeth and glowing red eyes.
Sammy put his head back in the room, and closed the door. The door never stayed closed, so he held it in place. He heard breathing through the door. Then it stopped.
He turned around and saw three tiny Rocky's on his bed. He flashed his flashlight at them, and they disappeared.
Then a noise in the other doorway, so Sammy went to that door. There was breathing as he approached, so he shut the door on it. The breathing stopped. The Rockles appeared, so he scared them away.
Breathing in the closet. He closed the doors on it. The breathing stopped. He looked inside, seeing his Marshall plush.
Pawsteps in the left hallway. He peeked out. Skye, but nightmarish, with an eye glossed over. He shut the door on it. The breathing stopped.
They kept coming towards him. He tried to keep them out. The clock outside of his room chimed 6am.
After a bit, Sammy poked his head out, and his older brother jumpscared him with a Marshall mask on his face, after which Sammy started crying. Oliver always did this to him. He knew Sammy was scared of the animatronics.
A while later, they were at Wrench's Family diner. Sammy, still crying, started towards the main area.
Don't you remember what you saw?
He headed the other way, but Oliver appeared, forcing him towards the main area. Inside, Rocky Wrench and Spring Zuma were performing. It looked like there were canines inside them, which explained the fluid movements. The Rocky Wrench performer walked up to him.
"Hi there!".
Sammy backed up.
"What's the matter?".
Sammy burst for the door, crying. Oliver jumpscared him, and Sammy cried harder.
