Chapter 2: Founding Fathers:
Thomas' POV:
My name is Thomas Wayne. I'm a young surgeon. My great-grandfather was one of the founders of Gotham.
"Looks like this year's going to be the best," says Alfred Pennyworth, one of my closest friends.
"I bet you're excited," says Lucious Fox, my other closest friend.
"Easy Guys," I said, "it's just another Founder's Day. Gotham was founded by the Waynes, the Maronis, the Castles, the Williams, the Thornes, and the Kanes.
We then heard my girlfriend, Martha on the radio. "Good morning, Gotham. It's another great Founder's Day. We're celebrating the men who gave us our city. Let's all think about those honest men out there! This year, there's going to be a statue made to honor them. And don't forget about the costume party."
I then looked out the window and I thought I saw something.
"What are you going as, Thomas," asks Alfred.
"I think you guys are going to like it." I then put on my costume. "I'm a giant bat!"
"What's with you and bats," asks Lucious.
"I'm not sure," I said, "I just think they're fascinating." I then took another look out the window. Looks like there's going to be a big fog.
