Chapter 8: Family Secrets:
Thomas' POV:
Father Renzo told us everything we needed to hear.
"So, our ancestors were crooks," asks Elizabeth.
"I'm afraid so," says Father Renzo.
"When were you going to reveal this," asks Nick.
"You don't understand," says Father Renzo, "I'm doing us all a favor! Everyone in this room is descendant from someone who double crossed Captain Cotton Blake and took his money! Think of the humiliation! It could ruin all our reputations!"
"I don't care what my ancestor did," I said, "it's not what our families did in the past, it's what we do to make up for it, what I care is that now, because of them, we're all cursed!" I then had a thought. "I need to make a phone call!"

Martha's a descendant of the Kanes. I called her. "Thomas, is everything alright," asks Martha.
"Martha, where are you," I askesd.
"I'm back at the lighthouse," says Martha.
"Martha, if there's a fog, do not let anyone in," I said, "it's for your protection!"
"Bruce, what's wrong," asks Martha.
"Just trust me," I said.
"Wait, there's a fog right now," says Martha.
I then hung up. "I have to save Martha," I said.
"You're going to need some back up," says Nick.

Nick, Elizabeth, and I then drove off.
